The final challenge for #tcwitchyoctober22 was to talk about witch trials. "The first written mention of witches in Zagreb goes back to the 14th century, to be precise in 1360, when a document tells about the trial of Alice and Margareta, who must not repeat their witch crimes or they will be punished without trial and defense. They, just like the witch Dragica two years later, could be acquitted by jurors standing up for them and swearing on their honesty. In our country, this old Slavic custom of defense was replaced by an investigation under torture at the beginning of the 17th century. However, the burnings started happening in Croatia not long after the publication of the book Malleus Maleficarum - this time, Croatia did not wait long for the movements in Europe. MMA Fighter Victoria Lee dies at 18 years ONE Championship atomweight Victoria Lee has died at the age of 18. Her death on December 26 in Hawaii was publicly announced by the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park and Funeral Homes in Kaneohe on Friday, and confirmed by her sister Angela Lee, ONE’s atomweight MMA champion, on Saturday. Lee’s cause of death has not been made public. A celebration of her life has been scheduled for January 22 before her burial. “On December 26, 2022 our family experienced something no family should ever have to go through,” Angela Lee wrote in an Instagram post. “It is incredibly difficult to say this … Our Victoria passed away. She has gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated since then. “We miss her. More than anything in this world. Our family will never be the same.
