if you’ve read some of my fics you’ll know the dragon plush is aurora, she is canon in the dcu to me and most likely only me. but I don’t care because that is timmy’s best friend. but he LOVES her and brings her everywhere, and if he’s staying someplace overnight like at a friends house or at the manor again, he has to bring her otherwise he can’t sleep for more than an hour.

I think his age range is pretty big, but it’s either baby baby, I’m talking months, or like 10-14. rarely in between those. but he loves listening to people talk, or listening to music, just some kind of background noise. when he’s tiny he doesn’t really care what it is, Bruce will usually put on white noise or ambient sounds, but when he’s in a bigger headspace he loves listening to stories from others, or softer songs like no surprises by radiohead.

loves loves loves stealing peoples phones and taking secret photos (they’re not, everyone can see him taking them.) but he gets really shy when Dick or Bruce try to take photos of him, even if he’s really tiny he buries his face into Aurora to “hide.”

because of his phone stealing habit, steph, cass, and babs got him an old Polaroid camera— one that doesn’t break easily and if it does, can be fixed pretty quickly. plus since it’s a Polaroid, none of the photos get damaged since they print out as soon as the photos are taken, therefore, less tears over his clumsiness. the girls pat themselves on the back for it.

he’s not a sleepy regressor like cass is, but if he’s regressed and it’s nearing nighttime, you can always count on him to go absolute baby mode at night. maybe it’s Alfred’s hot chocolate wafting through the air, maybe it’s the heated blanket Bruce places around him when he’s listening to music and coloring, but something about the quietness and darkness of the manor always makes him feel cozy and small.

Getting through the Kickass Video Essay of the Week is always dangerous because it makes me desperately want to make video essays myself, except I wouldn’t know Adobe After Effects if you slapped me across the face with it, YouTube terrifies me as anything except something I consume, and all my actual best thinking is done via Tumblr afterthought tags because in my head I imagine it’s sorta like glancing sidelong at the camera and adding additional context to any given moment or thought like I’m in the Emperor’s New Groove

also I genuinely do hyperfixate so it would be niche topics I can’t imagine anyone else on the planet finding entertaining (except me) like, “Is the Grid It’s Own Character?”; “Are Programs Posthuman?”; “How Kevin Flynn Destroys the Sublime”; “Why Tron Legacy is a Horror Movie”; “The Grid and the Closet” and it analyzes how, symbolically, a dude constantly leaving his heterosexual day life to live within a neon-lit fever dream where traditional procreation is literally unheard of and everyone wears skin-tight body suits and stilettos and oscillate between high-octane performance and nightclubs, and he’s unable to talk about this double life to others outside of this place, might be construed as possibly a lil LGBT+ (would this make CLU a physical manifestation of Flynn’s own fear of his homosexuality?); over an hour of me going through Scars 1 and 2 screenshot by screenshot and it’s titled something like “WATCH TRON UPRISINF” in all misspelled caps where it’s painfully obvious I have no background in Film Theory but by god that’s not about to stop me,

and idk something like “Identity in Tron” where I cheekily compare Tron Identity and the Uprising episode “Identity” that have nothing in common other then a fixation on identity discs and like what are those? Halo symbolism? The soul? Are programs angels? (insert here about previous scholarship on this bc I *know* somebody’s talked about this somewhere already) Are programs without discs fallen angels? Is Tron Identity purgatory? Is Query on the level of a User with how easily he manipulates information on a program’s disc? Does the Grid have its own disc somewhere??? Where’s the MCP’s disc?? Why is there a pawn shop in Argon; do programs really buy and sell used goods, and is this due to an ever shrinking amount of space/memory on the Grid? Is currency on the Grid held within the disc? Does this mean programs are their own currency? Is this capitalism or communism if the means of production (the programs) are also the currency? If a program steals another program’s disc and learns all their secrets, could the disc-less program not just take the thief program’ s disc and use it as their own, since it technically holds all their memories now? What happens when a program’s disc runs out of space; do they all intermittently explode in a giant cloud of amnesia like Cass does? If seeing Tron’s face was enough to momentarily snap Beck out of his amnesia via the power of friendship, does this hint at the possibility that programs may not need discs at all?

okay so it took me a while to answer this but i finally found the words to so here goes; yeah i do know, and i totally understand if you don't ship it, neither do i, but there's nothing i can do about it?

they're allowed, so long as they don't harm people, to do whatever they want on their own platforms. and before you ask me if i support *ncest, would you actually ask someone if they support toxic relationships and murder whenever they ship two unhealthy killers with mental problems? because that's funnily enough what most people do around here! you can say it's not the same, and that they're romanticizing it, but i can personally detach myself from fiction enough to realize that while this concept depicted in their art shouldn't be recreated in real life, that doesn't mean they actually engage or support people that do that irl- they asked zu the same question so many times, and frog doesn't either and i've known gayfish for three years! you're well within your right to stop associating with them or distance yourself from their content but i myself won't.

i know fiction affects reality to a degree, don't twist my words please, but if you're too young to consume that kind of content with a nuanced perspective or is triggered/affected by it then as long as they tag their content properly then you can unfollow, block and move on. i have a habit of following and reblogging people's works before looking at their bios and before i know it find myself having to choose between two sides i don't belong to and i frankly don't want to! anti this or proship that- in this online era you have to adapt by keeping your cool and curating your own online experience and viewing people in black and whites is stressful, painful and dangerous for everyone involved. i don't even reblog the content you probably have a problem with, and i'm honestly still scared of the response i'll get-

i will not blame or hate whoever unfollows or blocks me for this, it's to be expected, but please don't think about it like some bad vs good guys dilemma? sometimes thought provoking morally grey ambiguous stories with messed up characters spark more positive discussion and healing than people looking into it because they suffer from the same delusions and want a justification-

like realistically, in my blog, most ppl here are basically shipping two literal skeletons with magic in their bones who are sometimes almost the exact copy of one another, and who theoretically have a very similar dna, and sometimes they make shipkids, which, if you know anything about *ncest, is one of the main reasons why you shouldn't bang your siblings - mostly from a moral standpoint because that's so gross i can't even think of it, but also because any offspring would suffer greatly from physical and mental diseases hidden in their genetic code- like. you could argue it's not the same but it's sancest for a reason. and even when they're widely different sanses, you wouldn't think fell x sans is wrong (at least in this specific community) but really we've all just gotten numb to how weird that sounds. trust me, there's a reason we don't talk about our ships to outsiders HHH

TL,DR: so while i greatly encourage you to block people and content you don't want to see/associate with, including me! i hope i made it clear why i, personally, don't care about dreammare and whoever ships it.
