#sukuna #jjk spoilers #I’m not smart enough to talk about this but 1) love a little symbolic cannibalism/hunger thing going on #and 2) Im interested in seeing what Sukuna’s end is and if we’ll get more of his past #I remember when people theorized that sukuna in that jogo scene #where jogo asks ‘what is this’ and sukuna replies with ‘idk either’ #that it was a result of Yuuji’s self breaking through when complimenting jogo #but I like that it’s more clear that that IS who sukuna is #it’s a little more complex than a simple generic villain #which I appreciate bc honestly he’s never been my favorite of the villains #and partially that WAS bc I think some things are lost in translation (also dub makes him seem SO casual like just some guy lol) #I find him most interesting with these moments #and it’s funny comparing his interactions with others vs yuuji in hindsight #ok that’s enough rambling in the notes. yes I’m back to enjoying sukuna more now that gojo vs sukuna is over and he’s in his original form #I’m VERY excited for that scene animated soon and his censored powers #I’ve talked a lot about how much I love jogos death scene it’s definitely up there in moments I love from the series

i feel like i’ve been WAITING for the other shoe to drop wrt people’s opinions about watcher for this very reason. not that i think the reaction is completely not understandable but the greater the parasocial relationship, the greater the fallout as soon as public opinion shifts. you don’t have a relationship with these people they’re just content creators, chill

most of these have dates (bc I’m a freak who doesn’t use the pages in order) but the very first headshot is from alllll the way back in march of last year when I drew claire’s reference! it’s funny to see how polite and not exhausted she looks lol

the bottom row is a chibi style I experimented with for a bit. I draw very slowly, so I wanted something simpler for doodles. unfortunately, it ended up taking almost as long to draw chibis as fullbodies so that backfired lol

as usual i am up late into the night planning my future when i should be: getting a good nights sleep so that i even have a future!!

sometimes I kinda wonder if yokoyama has like. some sort of weird personal grudge over majima or something for whatever reason. because it’s honestly really odd and sort of offputting to see a game’s director dislike a widely beloved long-time character who is almost-universally regarded as an icon in the franchise, so vocally to the extent of being rude about it right next to the character’s voice actor (who loves playing him and appreciates him as a character way more)

The Savage She-Hulk (1980) #1

#so Jen is being affected by her anger #she gets more angry the further this goes on #but not to the extent that it would effect her intelligence #and she’s not so out of control that she’s endangering innocent people or causing that much property damage comparatively to the Hulk #when she’s charging through the hospital she gets assumed to be some kind of villain based on her appearance and demeanor #and she rushes through that group but without really hurting them #and as she’s going after the guys that tried to kill her she talks about how she’s so powerful and she can do anything #but she doesn’t lose sight of wanting to work within the legal system #she gets the crook to confess in front of the cops and then immediately let him go #and she’s allowed to leave because ‘there’s no law against green skin’ #while Jen is immediately connected to the Hulk and titled the She-Hulk I wonder how his reputation will affect her in her own stories #while she doesn’t do anything villainous in this first story #she’s just a particularly aggressive female hero #I wouldn’t even consider ripping a street sign out of the group to use as a weapon to be that far out of bounds of normal hero behavior #it’s really the ‘I have the strength now- The Power! I can do anything! Anything!’ stuff that differentiates her there #but still at the end that nurse is talking about how ‘That female savage was just horrible!’ #so we’ll see how this goes for Jen #as she tries to adjust to this while maintaining her regular life #which Bruce did for a time but that fell apart and really was doomed because his regular life was working for General Ross #I’m assuming that Jen will be better on that front and that in her occupation as a lawyer she won’t be expected to go after the She-Hulk #and also she’s already a lot more confident than Bruce #‘I’ve become a gamma-ray monster- like poor Doc!
