Jealous Mythra x male driver s/o

(This is an AU where s/o is Mythra’s driver instead of Rex or Adam)

After helping a group of traveling merchants recover their stolen goods, s/o and his blade Mythra, known all across Alrest as the legendary Aegis, are graciously thanked by the friendly merchants.

“We owe our livelihood to you both. Is there anything we can do to thank you beyond mere words?”

The leader of the merchants asks as s/o smiles and shakes his head.

“That’s not necessary. Mythra and I are just happy to have helped. Aren’t we Mythra?”

The blonde haired blade simply nods in response.

“Sorry about her, Mythra isn’t all that great when it comes to pleasantries.”

“I understand. You two make quite the team.”

“Thanks. I really am a lucky guy to have Mythra by my side.”

He gives her a friendly hug, causing her to blush before pushing him away with a huff like the tsundere she is.

“On the contrary, I’d say that she is the lucky one. I bet any female blade would love to have a hunk like you as her driver.”

A very attractive female merchant says rather flirtatiously to s/o.

“W-well, I wouldn’t say that I’m a hunk, but I appreciate the compliment ma’am.”

S/o awkwardly tells her, making the merchant giggle as she looks him up and down with a sultry expression.

“Trust me, you definitely are. Here’s a little reward for helping us.”

She kisses him on the cheek, much to Mythra’s anger.

“Did you like that handsome? If so, there’s more where that came from.”

Before she could kiss s/o again, Mythra pulls him away and holds onto him possessively as she glares at the merchant.

“That’s enough! Do you shamelessly flirt with every guy you meet?! We’re happy to have helped you all, but it’s time for me and s/o to leave. Bye.”

She begins dragging her confused driver away as the merchant calls out to her.

“Ooooh, I get it. You want him all to yourself don’t you?”

Her question causes Mythra to stop dead in her tracks and look at her with a flustered expression.

“W-what?! N-no I don’t! S/o is my driver, I don’t have feelings for him!”

“Uh-huh. Your stutter and blush are really convincing there. Just admit it, you love him.”

Not having a good rebuttal, Mythra scoffs and quickly drags s/o away until they’re both alone.

“What is going on with you Mythra?! You aren’t jealous that she kissed me are you?”

“I’m not jealous! Just shut up s/o!”

She yells at him, causing him to flinch and turn away from her with his feelings slightly hurt.

Realization what she’s done, Mythra mentally kicks herself and sighs.

“W-wait s/o, I’m…sorry.”

He glances back at his blade for a moment before giving her a response.

“It’s ok….”

After a long silence, s/o speaks up again.

“Hey. Mythra?”

She turns to him as he looks at her in concern.

“If something is bothering you, please tell me ok?”

“……..”

“Mythra?”

The Aegis sighs before taking a few steps closer to her driver.

“A-about what that merchant girl said to me. I-it’s true s/o, I do have feelings for you.”

Hearing this really catches s/o off guard.

“H-how long have you felt this way about me Mythra?”

“I don’t know exactly, but one day something just clicked that made me realize that I….I love you s/o.”

S/o stares at her for a moment as a smile grows on his face.

“I love you too.”

Mythra looks at him with wide eyes.

“What did you just say?!”

“I said I love you too Mythra.

Uncharacteristically, the light elemental blade jumps into s/o’s arms and hugs him tightly.

“Woah, someone’s happy.”

“Shut up s/o, let me have this.”

To his surprise, Mythra then kisses him passionately on the lips before pulling away with a smug smile.

“There. I bet that kiss was much better than the one the merchant gave you. Am I right s/o?”

“So you were jealous.”

“Answer the question s/o!”

“Yes. Your kiss was a million times better. Wanna know why?”

“Because I’m a better kisser than her?”

“While that is true, it wasn’t what I was going to say. Yours was better….because it was from the woman who has my heart.”

“T-that’s so sweet. Corny, but still sweet.”

“And you love it.”

“Yeah, I do.”

“So, are we like…boyfriend and girlfriend now?”

“Are you seriously asking me that after everything that’s happened?! You idiot, of course we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now!”

“No need to yell, I just wanted to be sure! I love you Mythra.”

He kisses her forehead, calming her down.

“I love you too…idiot.”

S/o smiles as the two hug once more.

“From now on, if any girl tries to kiss you, she’s going down!”

Mythra grumbles as s/o chuckles and pats her on the head, which she secretly enjoys.

“As if I’d let any other girl kiss me but you.”

“Hmph. Good answer.”

She smiles in satisfaction as the two continue to embrace.

With that, s/o and Mythra’s relationship is no longer simply driver and blade, but lovers as well.

Aegaeon x Driver Reader

This was requested by @thepathofpain

Note: This is based on his personality in Torna, as that what I could find the most information on without taking several days to probably hear one voiceline.

• The children of the Emperor did not hold the potential to awaken a blade, but the royal family could not go without protection, so you, the captain of the imperial forces, and the empires tactician were each given a blade. One would be sent out to uphold law and order, while the other would remain with the royal heirs, while not training of course, any of them getting caught in the crossfire would lead to disaster. You happened to land with Aegaeon.

• He is WAY overprotective, and possessive, he once told an on duty soldier that you were HIS responsibility, not theirs. They literally just asked if you were fine after a scuffle.

• Aegaeon, like Brighid, also keeps a journal/diary. The largest portion seems to be about the Aegis war, your entry is the second largest. Kind of hard to beat a major historical event in terms of recorded history.

• He will often sing your praise, but become all flustered if you return the favor.

• He often tries to get you to relax. You have to remind him what your jobs are.

• He's essentially your classic gentleman. Opening doors for you, holding your bags while shopping, the usual things that pop into your head when you think gentleman.

• Whenever you two are alone you can hear him muttering under his breath about something or someone being breathtaking.

• His inability to take compliments has also caused him some embarrassment as when he doesn't get flustered or emotional, he returns compliments without thinking, leading to either flat out wrong statements or borderline creepy. One time you complimented a cologne that someone gave him and his reply was "Thank you. You smell nice as well." He wouldn't leave his quarters until called upon for duty the rest of the day.

• There was one time you exchanged gifts, most likely a holiday, where he gave you a flower pin that seemed to resemble him in color.

• The two of you are always together except when turning in, as the empires blades each have their own rooms, which he prefers to stay in. (Man is easily embarrassed)

• After you reached about your early mid life, the heirs were old enough to have their own children, and after another seven years one of them awakened a core crystal that a soldier was careless with. After that, your duty was to train this child to one day inherit one of the two blades. Aegaeon seems excited to share his knowledge and wisdom.

Note Sorry this was so short, the request was rather vague, it doesn't help that I haven't had much practice with characters like Aegaeon, or that he doesn't get much screen time. It also may not help that I want to avoid Torna spoilers since I haven't beaten it yet, but I hope you enjoyed this anyway.

He had considered you the most treasured piece in his collection, because of just how much trouble he went through to take your pretty head for himself. But you had put up a damn good fight. He had spent terms and terms meeting you on the frontlines, each time he thirsted for your blood more and more. Hell, you were on your last term when he finally, finally, got his hands on you. You had a very special place in his collection, the very front, he could watch your face for hours on end.

To see you again, as a Moebius? It felt like a dream come true.

You, on the other hand, were nowhere near as happy to see him.

“Oh… it’s you,” you sighed when he came to visit your quarters.

“Don’t get too excited now,” he let himself in, ignoring the glare you gave him.

He inspected the room, deliberately trying to make you uncomfortable and creeped out. Invading your privacy like this gave him an indescribable power rush. Besides, fear looked so good on you.

“Blackblaze Dirk,” the venom in your voice tasted delicious to him. “I’m guessing you have a good reason to be here disturbing my peace?”

“About what?” You took the bait, against your better judgment.

“What I did to your body, once I got my hands on it?”

His statement sent shivers down your spine, you leaned against the wall trying to not give him the satisfaction of seeing the uneasiness in your expression, pretending to be unbothered instead. You shrugged at him and looked away.

“We heard stories, in my colony,” you remembered the rumors about how Blackblaze Dirk kept trophies of his enemies, always believed them, having seen the darkness in his eyes before. “You… kept the heads,” the disgust was evident in your voice. “Gross…”

He relished in the way your body stiffened and took a deep breath, the uncomfortable expression in your face speaking volumes. You clearly had no interest in knowing more, but then again, he could see a spark of curiosity in your eyes.

He laughed at your reaction, but somehow even his laugh held a dark edge to it. Your honesty brought him amusement, but he was eager to tell you more.

“Yes… I did happen to do that. But you, oh, you were a special case,” he smirked and closed the book in his hands. His voice was low as he continued. “Do you want to know what else I did to you?”

“You’re such a sparking creep,” you glared at him. “... Just tell me.”

A cold, unsettling smile tugged at his mouth. He placed the book on top of your desk and slowly made his way towards you, his voice was low and raspy.

“You were special to me, love. I had spent nights thinking of how beautifully you would look, detached from your body, lifeless, completely at my mercy,” he mused and there was excitement in his voice, something almost akin to affection except dark and corrupted. “And so, of course, when I finally had you in my grasp… I had to have some fun.” He could see the gears turning in your head, he knew you didn’t want to accept where he was going with this, so he wanted to say it explicitly, so you couldn’t run away from the horror. “I took you to my colony and ravished your lifeless body.”

You clenched your hands into fists, your heart racing in your chest as you glared at him in disgust. “Shut up. You’re lying,” you shook your head. You knew he was sick, a sadistic and disturbing man, but you didn’t believe, couldn’t believe, he had the guts to do something like that.

“Oh, but I’m not,” he chuckled darkly, taking slow and deliberate steps towards you. “The rush of battle is quite the aphrodisiac, your body was still warm when I fucked you in my tent.” He reveled in the way your eyes widened at his words, the fear radiating from your body only fueled his arousal. “And when you were in my collection… oh, how often I’d visit you.” He laughed, his eyes were manic and his grin was disturbing. Kallian Antiqua (Xenoblade Chronicles) x Reader

SUMMARY: Kallian admires your expression before sharing a kiss with you.

"You're staring quite intensely, you know." Kallian's gentle voice breaks you out of your thoughts. He turns his head to look at you, a soft smile on his face.

"I wasn't staring," you retort. "I was admiring the view."

Your attempt at hiding your embarrassment at having been caught makes Kallian laugh, the warm sound making your heart skip a beat. He subtly tilts his head to the side, his smile not once leaving his features. "I brought you up here as it's one of the only places where you can see all of Alcamoth in its splendor. I thought you would like the view, but instead, you choose to stare at my face."

Your cheeks glow with a pinkish hue, and you puff your cheeks into a small pout. It isn't obvious, but you can still tell that he's teasing you. "I can't help it since you have such a pretty face..."

Kallian chuckles. "If we're talking about pretty faces, I personally find yours to be quite charming."

You furrow your brows, but your eyes are unable to hide your bashful joy from his compliment. "You're teasing me," you accuse.

"I'm not," he responds, but the playful and light lilt of his voice says otherwise. Kallian turns fully to face you now, and he slowly approaches you, lessening the distance between the two of you. He cradles your cheek with one hand, his touch gentle and comforting. The two of you lock eyes, and Kallian can't help but let out another small laugh. "That expression of yours never fails to fill my heart with joy," he comments.

"What expression?"

"Like you're happy but don't want to make it obvious, so you try to look angry instead," Kallian clarifies. "It's a rather cute expression, and it makes me want to tease you."

"You're horrible," you note, but of course, you both know that you don't mean it.

Kallian laughs once more. He finds himself smiling and laughing more around you. It feels refreshing. He traces the curve of your jaw with his fingertips before cupping your chin. He carefully tilts your head back, prompting your breath to hitch for a moment at the deep look in Kallian's eyes. He leans down, slow and purposeful, and you understand his intention.

You close your eyes and lean forward, meeting his lips halfway. Kallian's lips are soft, warm, and gentle. The way he kisses you, so full of love, makes you melt against him. Kallian pulls away with a quiet sigh of bliss, and he takes a moment to stare at your face. He enjoys your embarrassed face quite a bit, but this one... with your eyes so radiant that they emphasize the glow of your cheeks and small, bashful smile... He can't help but find it incredibly endearing as well.

NJSDLF but its like . most people don't even make it that long anyway

it's an eternal war.

it seems that's all anyone has ever known—the fighting, the death, the bloodshed that seeps from one generation to the next. your hands have been stained with it before you were even born, and you think that it'll permeate even into the soil that your future grave lies in.

everyone you used to know has died, all for a fight no one really knows the reason for, just that the other side is the enemy. they have been since anyone still alive can remember, and will continue to be long after you're gone. it extends beyond just something you know—it's fact, it's truth.

wooden flute gripped tight in your hands, you try to do your duty as best you can, for what you were raised solely for. to act your role as defender of your unit, to send off the deceased as an offseer, but it seems recently you can only do one of the two. the metal of hyunjae's dog tags still burns against the skin of your palm, sometimes, when the memory surfaces too suddenly to be pushed away.

hyunjae's death leaves you and juyeon to sloppily stitch that open wound closed, and even if the blame never rests on either of your shoulders, the burden still rips and tears at the seams. you had been too far away to keep him safe, and juyeon couldn't get to him quick enough to heal. (not that it mattered much, anyway. you had both seen the exit wound.) it's war, and it's ugly, and you and juyeon try to mend what's left for your remaining time before your homecoming.

three months. you have three months left until your 20th year arrives, and juyeon tries to bandage the wound even tighter in the meantime, almost suffocating as the days count down closer and closer to your homecoming.

(battle was something unavoidable, but at the very least, he'd be able to protect you until the end.
