oh 100%, i've written headcanons for this but let me know if you would like a fic once asks are reopened (probably sometime next week) because 👀

i've written this in the direction of this being similar to a sequel to my other Rhaenyra x half-sister asks

i don't think he would be attracted to her initially because he sees her plainly as Alicent's offspring and we all know how he feels about Alicent but he would still respect that Rhaenyra cares for you

i think Daemon x Rhaenyra's half-sister would be very much slow burn

he'll ignore you about the castle once Rhaenyra has you in her grasp but one day he's in the library and spots you reaching up to take down a book on Valyrian history. He frowns and studies the spine before regrettably deciding to approach

it is not often that he lets his desires go unheard of so he asks what you're reading so that he can be sure and when you answer he feels the slightest of intrigue nestle in his gut

he offers to teach you of his conquest of the stepstones and the second your eyes sparkle in interest he's fallen

it becomes a habit to join you in the library while Rhaenyra is off during her duties and even more of a habit to tease you greatly though if anyone so much as attempts to do so themselves, his sword is pressed to their neck quicker than they can draw next breath

he does not wish for you to see him in his violent tendencies but he does want you to see him protecting you and your honour

Rhaenyra will point blank refuse to draw bloodshed before you but Daemon enjoys a making a slow show of whomever disrespects you

Rhaenyra cannot lie and say that it doesn't bring a fond smile to her face when she sees you together in this newfound friendship but it does surprise her when friendship turns into desire before her very eyes.

She doesn't however remember when the feelings changed and neither can he

his eyes stared down at you one evening as you talked excitedly with Baela and Rhaena and suddenly he was imagining you caring for them as you do Jace, Luke and Joffrey, a twitch to his lip and he's down bad

the same night it happens he corners Rhaenyra in the hall but is shocked when she confronts him

Daemon will not deny it, he is a proud man and insist on discussion, pleasantly surprised when Rhaenyra offers a compromise between your affections – they share you

i think Rhaenyra would agree very enthusiastically to another Valyrian wedding ceremony, the more attention and protection her darling garners the better though you may be quite hesitant at first

despite it all Alicent is still your loving mother and you care for her and you know she is not fond of Daemon

too many changes at once might startle you

he would ease you into the idea but visiting you to the point of smothering and partaking his entertainment in your chambers

he won't have sex with you until you ask it of him but he will leave hints, he might dangle your desires in front of you before snatching them away with a promise of giving it to you tenfold in return for your hand in marriage

regardless, you will find yourself with two spouses and soon he refuses to leave your bed, complaining of his clingy arms

i think there might be some conflict between Rhaenyra and Daemon's methods of keeping you safe, while Rhaenyra will want to shelter you and especially during the war, Daemon will want you to see the pain your family is inflicting on your spouses

he is a lot more possessive than his other wife and impulsive too

he will act as though he is nonethewiser of your heritage in your presence but when Alicent or your siblings are present he will put on a show and keep you wrapped up in his arms with a smug grin

the blood of those who insult you have become a staple in his clothing, he will don it proudly

gift giving will be one method he uses to garner your attention though anything he gives you will have something distinctly Daemon about it, he needs you to think about him as much as he thinks about you

i think he would be very glad to gift you jewellery above other things because he will see it as staking his claim when you wear it

he won't hurt you but if the time comes for arguments he might be quite violent in throwing possessions

when it comes to bedchambers i think he would demand you all share whereas Rhaenyra would ask if you would prefer the privacy of separate (if you did take this offer it would hurt her dearly but she does not wish for you to feel trapped despite her displeasure when you are not within her sight)

a/n: welcome to my extremely self indulgent hour. due to my current aegon i love hour, ive decided to create a little something. so i made an oc who takes the place of aegon i’s third wife who reincarnates as alicent’s second daughter then has to go through being obsessed over again and goes “well shit.”

@frankcastleonlyfans this is part one of my special project but im??? so excited, i ended up choosing the name Daella and im so excited for this aaaaaa

Aegon had three sister-wives. He married Visenya for Duty, Rhaenys for Desire and Daella for Love.

He had loved Daella Targaryen so much as to sire several children with her, he feared for her safety just the same.

Purple eyes stared at the words written on the page with a troubled look on her face.

Daella Targaryen, third of her name, daughter of King Viserys I and Queen Alicent, stared up at the tree shading her. She was still attempting to grasp into the fact even thought she was nearing her seventh name day.

She strained to believe why her soul had come back to life. The last thing she recalled was dying in Aegon’s arms, at peace with her fate and then she woke up as a baby in her mother’s arms as she sobbed with relief.

She was almost stillborn, a miracle. The maesters told her.

My special girl. Her mother had cooed at her with softness as she cradled her.

Cursed. Daella had thought.

“Dae?” A voice called out to her as she paused her reminiscing of the past which was long gone. She turned her face to lock eyes with familiar purple eyes.

Ah. Yes, Daella was not an only child. In fact, she was the youngest girl of five children. In this life, she possessed two older brothers, Aegon and Aemond, an older sister, Helaena. And her younger brother, Daeron.

Not to mention her older half-sister, Rhaenyra.

“Dae?” The voice repeated and she shook out of her own thoughts, it would do no good to keep herself locked in her thoughts.

“Aemond.” She smiled at him as she moved over. “Come sit with me and tell me what you wish to say.” Her mind flashed back to times where she would spend afternoons with her head in Visenya’s lap.

Aemond walked closer to her and sat next to her. He studied her for a few minutes in silence before looking down at his hands. “Mother asked me to come get you. For afternoon tea.”

Ah, yes. The afternoon tea. The only time her mother could interrogate her without suspicion. Of course, it wasn’t just her. Her grandfather would insist on hearing her doings. What she read, what she did, who she spoke to.

Exhausting. All too familiar.

“Sister, please don’t love anyone but me.” The familiar voice of her brother, Aegon I reverberated in her ears. She still remembered it so clearly. How he held her wrist as he suffocated her with his affection.

“Let’s stay here for a moment longer.” Daella insisted, drowning from the feeling of deja vu. She moved to rest her head on Aemond’s shoulder, her eyes closing. “Do you ever wish to fly away?”

“Sometimes.” Aemond replied, looking down at his younger sister. “I’d be way too sad if you flew away. I’d die of a broken heart. You make everything okay, sister.”

It was times like these that he and her new elder brother, Aegon II reminded her of Aegon I, Visenya, and Rhaenys.

It wasn’t just them. It would be easier if it was two, this time it was worse. Her half-sister, her uncle, her father, her nephews. The possessiveness and obsession, the paranoia and inclination towards violence where it concerned her, it was everywhere.

It was worse within her uncle Daemon, he had killed her first guard out of jealousy because she had ignored him and talked to her guard.

It was always like that. Too much violence, too much paranoia. Too much exhaustion.

“I heard that Uncle Daemon is flying in today.” Aemond remarked, glancing down at her. “For dinner.”

It was enough to make her stiffen, Daella removed herself from Aemond, much to his disappointment, and got up after grabbing her book.

“We mustn’t be late for tea.” She murmured, her voice quiet and purple eyes glancing at him before walking forward. “Come, big brother.”

Aemond, like he had done since the day she turned two, followed after her with haste.

Daella Targaryen, third of her name, had seen this happen once before and now she only felt dread. She would proceed with caution. Extreme caution for the wellbeing of westeros depended on it.

King Aegon had loved Queen Daella too much, some would say. He loved her like the sun loved the moon, too fervently. It was rumored that Queen Visenya and Queen Rhaenys had loved her just as much.

Some say that you could still feel their love when you walked through Daella’s Garden.

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Daemon shows his love and affection for his darling through gifts and touches. He's not exactly romantic but he has his moments.

He likes to present you with everything that he finds interesting and that may be of interest to you. It's the most common way for him to show his love, besides touches like a hug, kiss on the forehead or holding your hand.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Very messy. Daemon has no scruples when it comes to his darling. He will make a huge mess, bodies lying on the street, blood staining everything. Daemon will kill, disembowel, and torture anyone for you.

All for you. He will not feel any kind of remorse.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Daemon won't exactly be cruel to you because he cares and loves you in his own way. If he gets to the point where he needs to kidnap you, he will try to be as patient as possible.

But patience is not his strong point, so there may be times when he will be cruel. Yelling at you, squeezing your neck and demanding you stop acting like a spoiled child. It's moments like these that he shows his monstrous side.

He may mock you by imitating your voice as a form of mockery, degrading you further.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Daemon would never force himself on his darling, he would never do something like that. He's a monster, he knows that, but not that kind of monster. He can force you to stay close to him, hugging you and even kissing you hard, but it will never go beyond that.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

Daemon doesn't like being vulnerable and hates appearing weak, so he won't show his heart to his darling much.

There are times when he will be softer and a little vulnerable, but nothing that makes him too uncomfortable, except when he is drunk or needy. In these moments, Daemon will grab you and tell you how much he loves you and how much you mean to him.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

He would find it amusing. Seeing you think you can against him is fun for Daemon. So sweet and so naive. As if you could win against a Targaryen.

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

Daemon considers it a game in which he knows he will win in the end. You are the prize he will win at any cost.

He will love watching you try to escape him. Seeing your efforts go in vain, the way you get frustrated when he takes you every time. Adorable.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

The worst thing you could try to do is cheat on him. Daemon will not accept this at all and when he gets his hands on you, you will regret having crossed him.

He can and will physically hurt you. He won't go to the extreme of torturing you, but Daemon will leave marks on your body to remind you that you should never do something like that again. Dietary restrictions and even beatings are among the things he will do.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Daemon sees himself in a pleasant future with you. With him being King and you at his side, whether as his wife, lover or Hand. He can't see his future without you.

And if he can have children with you, he will.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Daemon feels very jealous. And he's not subtle about it at all. His gaze is hard and anyone can sense the imminent danger that comes with that feeling.

He takes out his jealousy in the worst way: on you or on others. Depending on the situation, Daemon will leave you full of possessive marks or scattered corpses behind.

He has no problem killing anyone who made him jealous. Was that guard very nice to you? He will die. Was that prostitute giving you looks? Her body was found in poor condition.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

Daemon likes to take you flying with him in Caraxes, going to bars and parties by his side. Always keeping a close eye on you when you are in public, of course.

He's not afraid or embarrassed to show how he feels about you in public and will deal with anyone who says anything about it afterwards.

Daemon tries to be the most compassionate towards you, he doesn't want you to hate him, so he tries to be kind and caring towards you.

Love Letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

Daemon is definitely not subtle about his intentions with you. He will send gifts, touch you in public and stay by your side. He has no problem showing how he feels about you.

He may try a more subtle approach at first but it won't last. He will make his intentions very clear. Daemon doesn't have the patience to woo you properly.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

No. Daemon has always been this way, reckless, violent and cruel and that has never changed. Everyone already knows the prince and Dameon has never tried to hide who he is.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

Daemon can be very cruel with his punishments. He can restrict you from certain needs, such as your food to more superficial things. He has no problem taking it from you, after all, he was the one who gave you such privileges.

In more extreme cases, Daemon can physically harm you, even leaving scars on your body. It all depends on how naughty you were.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

Daemon will not take away your rights unless he thinks you deserve it. If you are good and obedient, he won't need to do something like that.

But if you're not? Daemon will take everything he can from you. Your family, your friends, your basic rights, everything. Until the only thing you have left is him.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

Daemon is not an example of patience but he tries for you. He tries his best to be patient with you because he knows it's necessary, that you're scared.

But Daemon can easily lose his temper if you do something he doesn't like or that bothers him. You will have to walk on eggshells around him.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

If you died, Daemon would enter a deep state of grief and sadness. He will become more bitter and cruel than ever, anyone could become the target of the pain he feels for losing you. The countless deaths he caused were a result of losing you. He would never be able to get over your death.

If you escaped or left? No, no. Daemon would burn the world down behind you. He would do anything to find you and he would find you. He has a dragon and he knows his brother would support him in this. It's only a matter of time before he has you in his arms again.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

No. Daemon wouldn't feel guilty about taking you because you're his and there's nothing wrong with taking what's rightfully yours. And he would never let you go, beg and cry all you want, you will never get rid of him.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

Daemon isn't sure what brought out this side of him, maybe he was always like this. But what may have been what brought out his obsessive side was the affection, the love you gave him. You saw him and he loved it.

He found himself wanting more and more of this attention, this love, and he wasn't willing to share it with anyone else.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

Daemon feels bad seeing you cry because he hates seeing your beautiful face stained by tears, especially if he was the one who caused them. But he won't actually do anything to fix it. But he will comfort you, pull you into a hug and whisper sweet nothings in your ear.

He hates it when you yell and if you yell at him, Daemon will put an end to it quickly. Pushing you against a wall and squeezing your throat usually does the trick.

If you try to isolate yourself, he won't let you. You won't stay away from him under any circumstances. You'll have to get used to his presence or things won't end so well for you.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

Burn alive your enemies and/or people who have harmed you in some way as a form of retaliation. And feed them to his dragon.

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

Daemon has no apparent weaknesses and he won't even leave them exposed for you to use against him, he's not stupid. But if he trusts you enough, you can use that against him.

Once trust is established, Daemon will be more tolerant of you going out alone, or at the very least with just one guard and not an entire armada, and perhaps letting you wander around his house alone.

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

Yes. Daemon doesn't want to hurt you physically, but he will if he sees fit. He will have no problem inflicting pain on you, but don't worry, he will take care of you later.

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

Daemon would rather be adored than worship but he adores you in his own way. He worships your body, your mind and how sharp you are. These are qualities that he adores in you.

But you will be put on a pedestal once you accept your role in his life.

Oh, he would go to any lengths to win you. He would compete for your attention in jousts, battles, and any other way to get your attention without having to resort to kidnapping. Something he will do if he sees no other alternative.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

It doesn't take long for him to snap.

Daemon is not patient and he wants you, so he will have you. He may try to win you the traditional way but since that doesn't give the results he wants, Daemon will bring you to him. He will take you.

Maybe a few weeks at most.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

Yes, but not intentionally.

Daemon doesn't want you to be a puppet, a marionette that he will control. He wants to see a fire in your eyes, he likes it when you fight him and if he breaks you he won't have that anymore.

But he can do it accidentally. And Daemon will try everything to bring you back.

He doesn't like it when you're broken, it's not fun for him.

(I couldn’t resist, I needed to make this, this was one of the most requested things I’ve ever had so I hope that you love it!)

A stands for AFFECTION: how would they show affection?

•Daemon shows affection through physical touch, he always wants to be touching you in some way whether that’s with his arm around your waist, you sat across his lap (which is a near constant position for him to put you in) or possibly just as simple as holding your hand

B stands for BLOODY: how bloody are they willing to get for their object of obsession?

•As bloody as physically possible!

•Daemon will protect you with everything he has and the idea of getting bloody will not deter him for a moment. You had better hope that blood doesn’t make you sick to see or smell because with how often Daemon believes (true or not) that men are flirting with his Princess, there’s going to be a lot of bloodstains on his clothes…and yours

C stands for CRUELTY: would they ever hurt their object of obsession?

•If you push Daemon too far he can get violent with anyone

•He would never harm you the way he harms other people, however you are in no way exempt from his rage

D stands for DARLING: would they cross their object of obsession’s limits?

•If you try and keep yourself from him then yes, he will absolutely cross any limit he believes he needs to. You are Daemons wife and that means you will perform the duties of a wife as you are meant to as long as you are healthy and strong enough to do so

E stands for EXPOSED: how much do they expose their own feelings to their object of obsession?

•Daemon is actually quite open with you about his feelings in your marital bed, which is really the only place he is willing to talk about anything personal or private

•Never in any way that would have a lasting impact on you

•Locking you in your chambers wasn’t something that ‘hurt you’ and the only pain Daemon ever caused you physically was when you disobeyed him or questioned/challenged his authority in front of others, and even then it was only blistering your ass (which he would then soothe with creams that he had gotten from the maester once you had truly apologized)

X stands for XOANON: would they worship their object of obsession?

•Daemon is obsessed with you, worship is the word most people would use to describe how he looks at you

The first time you met was at your step-mother’s, Laena Velaryon’s, funeral.

You were a child of Daemon Targaryen and Rhae Royce.

You were sitting with your half-sisters, Rhaena and Baela, mourning your mother when Jacaerys came. He had heard about you from his mother but never thought you would look this beautiful up close.

He comforted you for losing your second mother. After that you became very close friends, best friends.

But for him it wasn’t enough. The moment he saw you the first time he developed a little puppy crush, not knowing it will grow into something bigger and darker.

Years later you were one family.

The very day, on Laena’s funeral day, your father got married again with Rhaenyra. Standing next to you and looking at the wedding, Jace swore to marry with you in Old Valyrian tradition, just like your parents.

Living together was hell and paradise at the same time.

He was caring and loving. He did everything to protect you from anything.

Learning Valyrian together was so much fun. You teased him all the time about how you can talk better than him.

While playing with your younger siblings you always caught him looking at you longer than it’s normal. You of course took it as a brotherly love. While he imagined you playing with your children.

There were also more... darker times.

He followed you around all the time, which was pretty annoying. He didn’t let you ride your dragon alone, only if he was with you. He didn’t let anyone, except your family, touch you. Any talk or idea about marriage or engagement was shut down from him.

You tried to talk with your father and Rhaenyra about this but they dismissed it for deep brotherly love only.

The real hell started when you went to King’s Landing. He was even more paranoid now. What if some arrogant and disgusting lord or lady tries to do something? What if the green brothers who looked at you the whole trial and feast, like you were meat for the wolves, tried something?

He hold your hand or your waist all the time. He did anything to show others that you were to belong to him and no one can touch you.

When Aegon made some disgusting jokes and comments about you, this was his snapping point.

Blood and fists were thrown, which resulted him confessing everything.

‘’Stay away from my sibling you fucking creep. No one will have them, except me.’’

You were a childhood friend of the princes.

Your grandfather was a lord in the king’s small council. Your mother had died years ago of illness and your father is helping Lord Corlys Velaryon in his war which has been going on for 6 years already.

You were taken as a child to King’s Landing with your grandfather to seek new opportunities and maybe find someone to marry.

In childhood you and the princes were inseparable, you think because they didn’t have any other friends.

They sometimes always fought over your attention and tried to embarrass the other in front of you. But overall you got along with both of them.

You were always next to Aegon after his mother had insulted him again. You were beside Aemond for days after he came back to the Red Keep with only one eye.

You encouraged, cared and loved them, when their parents didn’t and everyone else treated them like monsters.

Now you were more mature and undesrtood things better.

They were more mature and finally they realized that what they felt for you in the beginning doesn’t exist anymore. They desired you, they needed you. Their little childhood crush has turned into an obsession, a want, a need.

Alicent knew what was going on, but fearing her sons wrath she turned a blind eye.

Aegon was the flirty and touchy one. He always had to say something and he always had to have his hands on you in some way. He had tried to invite you into his bed many times which you have declined.

Aemond was more the show off and 'knowledge is power' type. He loved to show off his sword fighting skills and his intelligence. He would talk hours about his family’s history or philosophy. He also likes to show off his massive dragon, Vhagar. You have rode with him countless times which had made Aegon a little very jealous.

But your hell was about to start.

When news about King Viserys's death reached you, you knew what was about to happen.

Aegon is gonna be crowned as a king and then there will be nothing to stop the brothers from taking you.

You of course had to stand next to Aemond, despite Alicent's protest. But as a future king, Aegon will get what he wants.

You knew that Aegon never wanted to be king. He hated the crown and the position he had born into. And now seeing him with such confidents and little arrogance before the cheering people made your belly twist.

And also sensing Aemond's tall and dark presence next to you didn't help the situation.

He leaned down and whispered, only for you to hear,

"We made a "deal" with your grandfather. You will enter into the real hell really soon, my love."

Aegon "The Conquerer" Targaryen

It had never been easy being married to him but you had tried. You tried to be a good wife. You tried to make things work.

You took the time to learn what he likes and disliked, his favorite topics, his curiosities. All of it, so that you may be a good wife to him, not just an obedient wife but a friend too.

And yet, again and again you were dismissed, not even worth a single word. He would wave you away without even looking at you. It legt you with your heart in your throat.

After so many attempts to be a good wife to him, only to be shot down and dismissed and even commanded to leave like you were just a nuisance to him, you decided to just stop. No amount of kindness would make him be kind to you.

Aegon found himself expecting your kindness, found himself missing it. He could not sleep without your daily acts of kindness towards you. You had always slept next to him and now you won't even stay in the same room as him.

"Stay a little longer, my wife." He had commanded of you as you went to leave the room as he entered it. Your expression was stone cold as you stared at him.

"How many I help you?" You sounded so formal and it hit his heart, he wished for your warmth. He craved your sweetness.

Aegon held out his hand to you. "Would you like to take a walk with me?"

You wanted to scoff. A walk? How many times had you asked to take a walk with him only to be shot down, told to leave him out of your silly ideas. You stared at him with all the coldness you could muster in yourself. "Please leave me out of your silly ideas, your grace."

His heart dropped as he watched you walk out. He had said those words to you before.

Every request he had for you. to eat together, to spend the night together, to read, to walk, to be together was met with a cold refusal from his wife.

Just like he had done before.

Aegon "The Usurper" Targaryen

In spite of Aegon's reputation as a whore and a drunkard, you tried your hardest as his wife to be there. to help him and love him. You tried to be a good wife to him.

Only to be humiliated every single time.

You helped his hangovers, you defended him against rumors, you bathed him, to nursed him back to health, you took his side over everyone elses. You never strayed, you always brought him his favorite means and you refused to believe your good mother's words and saw the best in him.

And yet, it was never enough. He preferred whores and unwilling servants over his own wife. He could not speak to his own wife unless he was drunk and even then, he spoke of you with disdain, spoke that you had trapped him and how you suffocated him.

You're not sure at what point it was enough for you. Was it the whoring? Was it his comment that you were suffocating him? Was it the fact that he was so willing to have bastards but refused to even acknowledge you as his lawful wife? maybe it was all of it.

You ordered the staff to move your things into a separate room, far away from this one. You ignored the queen's pleas for you to reconsider. you ignored the look on your good brother's face. you ignored servants who came to inform you that your husband had returned drunk.

When Aegon woke up the next morning with a mind-spliting hang over and weakly called for you, panic filling him as you never replied or came. "My love?" Came his weak call and when the door opened it was a servant, not you. She placed breakfast and medicine for the pain on the table.

"The queen wishes to see you after you have cleaned up, my prince." The servant meekly informed him before hurrying out before he could ask her where you were.

you always nursed him, cared for him. You had always been there for him, so where were you now? Where was his love?

The next time he saw you, you were with his sister, stone faced as his mother seemed to be pleading something from you.

"My decision is done. I respect you greatly, good mother." Your voice wasn't the same as it had been before. "But I am done trying."

"My love, where have you been?" His question sounds stupid and he watched as his mother grimaces and looks away.

"Not suffocating you, Prince Aegon." Your reply is cold and he flinches as you stare at him coldly. "I have taken precaution to avoid causing you such troubles."

"My wife...."

"Am I your wife?" You retorted humorless, ignoring the look that his family gives you, sympathy and pity. "I hadn't noticed." You walked past him without another word.

He had said those words to you, heartless and cruel. And now he had lost you just as he realized that he loved you.

Aemond "The One-Eye" Targaryen

In the beginning you had been delighted to be married to Aemond, he was a man of honor, he would do his duty, just as you would do yours.

As he remained eternally cold, like a snowstorm you could not escape, you tried your hardest to be the best wife to him. You brough him his meals when he remained preoccupied with his studies. you came to watch him train and express your awe over him. You brought him gifts and made sure to always look after him. You tried your hardest to be a wife he could depend upon.

And yet, the cold never left his eyes.

It went from being a delight to be his wife, to being an exhaustive chore.

The nights you spent crying, sobbing into your hands as your handmaiden tried to console you soon would outweigh the days you spent happy to help your husband.

You didn't know what was your breaking point. His coldness, his dismissive nature towards you, how he would never refute his brother's words about you or maybe it was the rumors that your husband had taken a lover.

All of it was too much. History may speak of you as his wife but you would have no more connections with him.

You stopped coming to his room at night, you stopped sending him medicine for his pains or cream for his phantom eye pains, you no longer mended his torn shirts, you no longer ate with him or even invited him on walks.

When you walked past him with your handmaiden, he would stare after you, his heart aching. Why did he feel this? You had been the only person to still defend him, to still spend time with him and now? You were too busy for any of it.

You refused to even look at him most days, you were a ghost in his presence and his heart ached to see your gentle smile once more.

"My wife." He called out to and you stopped, your hand clenching into a fist before you cooled your expression into one of pure coldness, one only for him. "Come eat with me."

"I'm sorry, I do not have the time. I already ate." You stared at him with nothing warm and it made him want to cry. "Please cease to bring trivial things like these to me."

'Please stop bringing such bothersome things to my attention.' that's what he once said to you, his gaze never once meeting yours.

"If you wish to have a meal, I think flying to Harrenhal and dining with your whore is a better idea." You retorted, smiling at him humorlessly before turning around and walking off down the hall.

Aemond Targaryen would have a wife only in name and law.

Daemon "The Rogue Prince" Targaryen

You didn't expect his love, your union was arranged and he was under no obligation to love you but his behavior was not one you expected.

You tried to care for him, always helping him and trying to be his wife, to be a good wife to him but he never cared in the slightest.

He refused to touch you or even look at you. He made it quite clear how much a nuisance you were. Not a wife of his choosing.

You had learned not to cry around him. He took joy in seeing you cry and he made it known to you.

In the beginning you had tried to be his wife. Tried to learn his likes and dislikes, tried to invite him to eat with you, take walks with you, see the night sky with you but he made it quite clear that he would always prefer his whores over you.

You had stopped that night. All of your affections turned cold. You no longer smiled at him and tried to invite him to do things with you. No, you had given up the notion of wife.

At first Daemon had found it amusing, wanting to see how far his lovely wife took this but then days stretched into weeks which stretched into three months and it was no longer amusing. He wanted you to dote on him and be his wife.

But you no longer considered him your husband. There is no bone in your body that wishes to be near him.

"Don't you think your tantrum has gone on long enough, my sweet girl?" He had asked you, irritation coating his voice.

You stared him with a stone cold look before tilting your head. "If my prince lacks attention, he may see his whores. He can pay them to fake affections towards him because as you've made quite clear, you prefer the whores."

He stares at you with a dark look as you walk away. He'll chip away at your coldness until his sweet wife is returned, he's sure of that.

Maegor "The Cruel" Targaryen

You had dreaded being married to him, he was known for his cruelty, for how far he was willing to go for what he wanted. Torture, murder, kinslaying. None of that mattered to him.

You still tried your hardest to be a good wife, to be attentive and helpful, to bear him a son but none of it mattered.

You would always be just a broodmare for him. He had reminded you of it several times. You were barely his wife and never his equal. You were broodmare, the only purpose you have for him is to give him a son.

What you wanted did not matter to him, he reminded you as he pinned you down once more.

Maybe something inside you broke that night. Maybe it had always been broken.

Whenever it had broken, you could not keep being a good wife. You prayed to the mother for forgiveness every day for that fact.

It was praying that helped you avoid him, you spent more time in the sept than you did in your own room.

Slowly, Maegor came to miss your presence. The way your hands would massage his shoulders when they hurt. The way you would bring him his favorite things and kiss him while wishing him luck, telling him that you believed in him.

Like, darling is a valued member of the court or something along those lines. Platonic or romantic, it dont mind :), thank you so much and its totally cool if you dont want to write this <3

In a brief summary: chaos.

With the Hightowers first; Alicent and Otto will react similarly. Otto isn't as horrified as the others are. It's unfortunate that those things occur when politics are involved. That's one reason why Otto wanted you to leave your position. The best maesters will take care of you, and you'll be protected by guards he fully trusts. He will no longer allow you to take part in court proceedings after that incident.

On the other hand, Alicent develops a paranoia about the masters and guards because she believes that only a powerful person would attempt to take your life, implying that they may have other connections. She will always be by your side, tending to your wounds and even suggesting giving you a bath or feeding you.

Velaryons come next. Corly will be furious that someone tried to take your life, and he'll make sure the assassin is brutally put to death. He'll check on you frequently and make sure the maesters are performing their duties effectively. With no ifs or buts, he will surround you with guards from this point forward.

Rhaenys and Laena are quick to run to your aid. Even when other people reassure them it's safe and that the person responsible has been put to death. They almost never leave your side and when you wake up; they're there. Be ready for every drink and meal to be examined in advance.

Laenor's reaction is the most extreme of his family; he will be devastated and his initial instinct is to fight and kill the person who has harmed you. After he has calmed down, he will hold you close and sob as the possibility of your death dawns on him. After you recover, Laenor will become so overly attached that it almost becomes suffocating.

Last and final is the Targaryens.

Viserys, Rhaenyra, and Daemon are all enraged. Viserys' rage serves as a warning to the court that, despite how kind-hearted the king may appear to be, at his core, he is a dragon. Viserys will demand the head of the person and will keep half the castle guards with you at all times. It is likely he will do whatever he can to remain by your side, even leaving his duties unattended.

Like her father, Rhaenyra would demand the perpetrator's head. She will grow distrustful of those around her. She might even suspect the hightowers at some point. Your importance to her was known to them. She will keep an eye on the maesters and your handmaidens and chastise them if they show signs of laziness. They are to keep an eye on you day and night, as she requests.

If one thinks Rhaenyra’s reaction is extreme; Daemon shows otherwise. Just the sight of a small scratch sends him into a frenzy; imagine an attempt on your life. Your assassinator won't be killed; he'll be kept alive long enough. Torture, flogging, and starvation to the point they beg for death. He will allow no one to be near you without his permission. All the guards and handmaidens he suspects of being spies may even be lined up and slaughtered one by one. If it weren't for his brother's intervention, he could have committed a bloodbath.

Then comes Viserys’ children. Although Daeron is furious, he's more concerned about you than anything else. He is a bit skeptical of those around you like his mother is. As you are recovering, he will insist on being left alone with you. He’ll be so gentle. Taking care of you if you’re unable to do; dressing and tucking you in.

Helaena is a lot like Daeron in that she prioritizes you above all else. She leaves her family to attend to the matter. Others have given up trying to persuade her from leaving your side. Helaena will find it enjoyable to take care of you. She’s mostly elated to finally have the chance where you’re dependent on her.

Given that Aegon and Aemond are very possessive of you and get easily agitated when someone stares at you for too long, imagine the havoc they'll cause if they learn someone made an attempt at your life.

The assassin will be fed to Aegon's dragon. Most likely, Aegon will lock you in a room with constant security and ignore all of your protests. He will begin to have suspicions about the majority of the court members, particularly his half-sister.

Like his brother, Aemond will feed the assassin to his dragon, but not before torturing him for days. He will use their death to send a message that anyone who dares to go near his darling will have to deal with his wrath as well as Vhagar's. He won't lock you up in your room; instead, he'll follow you wherever you go. Even attending private meetings, basically being your bodyguard. If he must depart, he will take you on Vhagar.
