A promotional video was announced on the website for the television anime version of the Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange (Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange) manga by Masahito Soda and Kuro Tomiyama. On September 30 at 5:30 p.m., Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV-affiliated channels will air the anime.

I’m planning chapter 8 for A New Life and just wanted to know your thoughts

Who would you like Yuki Nakamura’s love interest to be?

Reminder:

Seiko Fujiwara’s love interest is Oda Sakunosuke that has been planned since day one even though there is a joke about her and the ADA President

Natsuko (Ichiyo) Higuchi’s love interest is most likely going to be A SECRET (for those who did see what I originally wrote SHHHH)

Extra infoooo because I haven’t added her profile yet ->

She’s quite quiet, prefers to only speak when necessary

She does have a traumatic background because who doesn’t in BSD

She’s a clerk at the ADA, working closely with Atsushi - she has a desk near the front door instead so she acts as a receptionist for clients

She is quite smart but prefers her receptionist job to any other

Yuki is apart of the Reaper Core - which is how she knows Atsushi - but she has a completely different role

She is not immortal before anyone asks she is 22 years old born and raised in Yokohama to a Military Family

Can she fight? Yes she knows how to defend herself

How will she tie into the story? Hah you think I’ll tell you just yet? What I can say is that she does become friends with Natsuko (Ichiyo)

Here are the pages from Hana to Yume's 50th anniversary books (Gold & Silver) that got me the most emotional. Photos only.

Let's start with Silver! Unsurprisingly I always get a tear in my eye when Matsushita Youko contributes anything to Hanayume. She'll never finish Yami no Matsuei (though pics like this make me dream) but I do hope she's having a good time gaming and doing whatever else makes her happy.

Similarly it has been SO long since Saenagi Ryou has drawn anything (I think her ITAN series was over a decade ago now?) it's great to see the Yorozuya boys looking fresh! I think you really had to be reading the magazine in 1999-2001 to really appreciate how popular that series was. Anyway, she's still got it!

Ragawa Marimo doing Akachan to Boku art of the boys a bit older?? MY EYES APPEAR TO BE LEAKING. Love these adorable brothers regardless of age, but wow Ragawa's art is looking polished these days. Love it!

Meanwhile Yuki Kaori kind of still has it with Cain and RIff, but the Mudou siblings definitely look more along the lines of her art in the lacklustre Tenshi Kinryouku: Tokyo Chronos. I do think it's nice seeing her draw both series again though, definitely makes me nostalgic.

Moving onto Gold... I had a huge grin on my face just glimsping a new doodle of the boys from Greenwood by Nasu Yukie. Look at those adorable dorks!

It was so nice seeing Nakamura Yoshiki's two most prominent leading ladies sharing the spotlight together. While Kyouko from Skip Beat! has been a prominent figure in Hanayume over the past two decades, Tsukasa was the Nakamura heroine I first became acquainted with in Tokyo Crazy Paradise so this page made me happy.

An honourary mention goes to Hiwatari Saki for providing an OK Shion and Mokuren. Not a patch on her art from the original Bokutama series, but this is quite cute.

Anyway, lots of great art from past & present Hanayume mangaka and some really heartfelt notes too. I highly recommend getting your own copies of these furoku books as they're quite lovely little keepsakes.

Fisher & Yuki Nakamura-Honeybrew

The second round of Fisher and Yuki's wedding screenshots! Ren and Azami had aged up to infants just in time for the wedding; I can't lie, they were a little bit of a nuisance, but I'm glad they attended the wedding so that I could get adorable screenshots haha.

After the main ceremony, they went to the Izakaya Ippai Karaoke Bar and had a couple drinks along with some much-needed love song karaoke to tie up the day.

Everyone had such a lovely time; it will be a wedding all the Honeybrews will remember with fondness.

Also, I like to think that Yuki is a lil bit sassy, I know the 'shi-ne' (go die, or fuck off) text is a bit too far in their line of work but that's just so millenial-gen z humor I can't blame her.

Rant about Sakurai Takahiro. (Getou's va)

I don't usually rant but I need to blow off some stream.

I just came to know that veteran seiyuu Sakurai Takahiro was caught cheating on his wife for 10 years with a writer of his radio show. The mistress had no idea that he was married as seiyuus are very good at hiding their marriage from paparazzi, his marriage was disclosed last month and the cheating was disclosed today.

What's worse is that the mistress really had no idea about him being married and actually thought she would be marrying him and oh my god...how can a person just downgrade so much to the point they feel the need to cheat on their spouse FOR 10 FEAKING YEAR And play with other people's hearts.

Due to the shock the mistress was h0spitalized and she is in deep tra uma.

Another worse thing is that seiyuu stans are making it all about anime which just proves that wow, fans sometimes are the reason for an artist's downfall like you telling me you are more worried about Getou's voice getting replaced than the fact that the voice behind Getou literally cheated on his spouse for 10yrs and played with mistress's heart and gave her so much shock to the point she was sent to h0spital???

Not everything is about anime and your favorite character, open your eyes and read the fucking room. This man caused so many trouble for his agency, wife, poor mistress, all the contracts of collab and solo work he had with different companies and what not.

Absolutely disappointed and disgusted to know that people like him even exist.
