In fic rock lee is usually depicted as perpetually kind and genuine if a bit clueless (which is all 100% true and he is perfect) but have you ever read/written something that shows him in a significantly more serious light? Could be mission serious or just pissed— I’m just curious to ask! Super super love your work ❤️❤️❤️

Oh, I love this question! One of my bigger pet peeves is Lee being bowdlerized by Shippuden when in original Naruto he was a character with real depth and range of emotions, so YES absolutely I love a more serious Lee!

Off the top of my head, I can recommend:

Absolution by Luna_Lee @sagemoderocklee (heed the warnings on this one), which has Lee dealing with grief after the loss of Gai-sensei. A bunch of their fics deal with a darker, more serious Lee if that's what you're into!
