Something to Believe in is a little different, the Jatherine is believable but isn't really focused on much in the show, it almost feels like an afterthought. The line 'what was ours still will be' really resonates, it feels more like they had a little whirlwind mutual attraction but both think it'll end with the strike

Universal 'oooohh!!' From the audience when they kiss

Lighting for once and for all is so pretty, they have lanterns and there's a sort of orange mottled pattern like the reflection of the lamps projected across the entire theatre

Once and For All really lets the vocals shine, it isn't as high energy as the other numbers and the scaffolding doesn't move like it does in livesies, instead a giant newsies banner falls from the ceiling that they parade around the stage. The choreo isn't missed at all, the sheer wall of sound is incredible

The newsies line the theatre as Jack talks to Pulitzer and smack their fists either into their hands of onto the railings in time with the music as they hum

Crutchie is up on the scaffolding for much of the choreo and makes his way down for the bows. He slid down the stair rails in the same way you would slide down a ladder. Then he kept sliding. And kept sliding. And then his leg got caught. And then he kept sliding. Basically, he ended up on the floor tangled in the stairs and had to call a couple of people to help him out of the mess he got into 😅

And that was that! Post-show Q&A was pretty short but really lovely, there were mostly questions about the audition process, advice, favourite bit of the show, etc but it was really sweet how they all cared to stay and so many people did! Plus there were mega shout outs to dance captain Alex Christian who plays Butttons and is a legend!!

Honestly this show means so much to me and to be able to see it with such an enthusiastic cast and audience was incredible, see it if you can because it is in a league of its own.

Lookism Random Headcannons (Because why not?)

Read the recent chapter recently and I am excited about the King of Soul's entrance (if ever)

Daniel watches anime since he thinks it's more entertaining than dramas. At some point he also wanted to become a manga artist but quickly gave up on it. His favorite is probably the classics (Naruto, One Piece, One Punch Man, DBZ, and he also likes the recent ones.)

Zack and Johan used to watch WWE matches together while Mira scolds them that they scream too loud when they're watching Royal Rumble lmao.

Undertaker was Johan's favorite WWE wrestler but thinking about it makes Johan embarrassed since he doesn't want to be seen as an edge lord or "emo or a goth" lol. Zack Lee's favorites are probably Edge, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton (idk I watch a little bit of WWE in my free time don't blame me).

Since Jay lived mostly alone in his apartment for who knows how long, he was thought by his butler to cook his own food since he doesn't really want to depend on them fully and make them exhausted. (Plus he's mostly bored, so why not cook and bake?) He almost burned his apartment once trying to fry an egg at first.

Hudson might not admit it but he also binges anime like Daniel. He believes that Makima sucks and the ones who defends her are simps (I mean she's a well written antagonist but her personality is a no).

Goo Kim = Cat Girl/ Cat Boy enthusiast (likes wearing low-budgeted cosplays A LOT for his own entertainment).

Goo Kim had stolen Gun's credit cards for his own shopping spree. Not once, not twice, but MANY TIMES.

Samuel might not admit it but he actually likes Jake and Big Deal. He just keeps denying it because of his ego issues.

Jerry had once owned a winter dwarf pet hamster. He properly took care for it for like 2 years and named her Bisky. But since hamsters have short lifespans, it died later on and he cried and didn't sleep well the following days since he missed her deeply. The shrine of it is still staying still on his backyard and he mostly replaces the flowers everyday or i he's not busy to pay tribute to her.

Daniel wanted to learn how to play the guitar or a ukulele but since his mom was struggling with their budget he cannot ask her to buy him one.

Jay can play drums (and teaches Daniel when having sleep overs!)

Mary can play bass and a little bit of guitar. And she secretly listens to rock, metal, and the alternative style of music since she doesn't want to be teased as emo by Vin the asshole lmao.

Avril Lavigne is the reason why Mary dyed her hair blonde you can't change my mind (not forcing you but listen to her music IT'S SO GOOD). She would like to have a friend (if not a girl friend not a girlfriend) who shares the same music taste with her to start a band.

Zack and Vin Jin used to bully kids on Roblox to boost their ego (Zack stopped because of his character development but probably Vin still does it lol).

Younger Kouji had once ate lots of candies and sweets to be "smart like L" from Death Note but almost got diabetes.

Gun and DG wears lip balms to keep their lips plump and smooth. DG had once teased Gun about being a model while Gun just smirks about it.

Mira SECRETLY LIKES Ayesha Erotica's music because of the edits on TikTok but since it's mostly explicit she's refraining to add her compositions on her Spotify playlists.

Since Vasco is mostly hardworking, there are times that he passes the exams (with the help of Jace and other Burn Knuckle members). But he just cannot push himself more to pass the Mathematics exams.

Eli had once tried to kiss Warren after their fight because of his innocence and curiosity before all the Hostel Drama. (I personally don't ship them but I just feel like it's something past Eli would do). They both cringe when they both remember it.

Doo Lee was once a Twitter influencer but because of his past dramas he was cancelled in social media.

Jibeom accidentally smashed Jihan's face when they were little when they are trying to imitate WWE stunts. Jichang was surprised to see his little brother's teeth getting cracked and falling off and he just didn't cried (it was Jibeom who shed tears because of guilt lol).

Crystal is a big fan of "vintage-core" or everything around the older eras because she believes that it doesn't only represents the beauty and evolution of human pop-culture but it also represents history. She always won on auctions to buy antique stuff and mostly donate it on museums to preserve it's structure while she kept some on her room. She almost got canceled by bidding on an authentic Marilyn Monroe's lipstick but she later on posted on Twitter that she donated it on a museum (which is not a fake news).

Gun doesn't eat too much fast-food products because he believes it's unhealthy and has chemicals to make the customers' crave for more (Goo teases him about this by dramatically eating an order of a large McDonald's French Fries in front of his annoyed face).

Ryuhei never kissed a woman in his life because of his nervousness. He secretly was weirded out by it so he lies that he had slept with many women to not be bullied by other people.

Vasco doesn't know how to properly wear a watch and a belt (ngl same I'm that stupid). He also doesn't know how to tie his shoe lace.

Jace prefers dark-chocolate rather than milk or white chocolate. Because he believes that since it has more cocoa content it can boost more of his energy and sharpen his mind and focus especially when taking his exams and quizzes.

Sally's favorite color was purple as she planned to dye her hair with her color of choice with a mix of indigo. But since she's afraid that it won't suit her, she changed her plans and went on to dye her hair with strawberry pink. She didn't expected it to look magnificent on her since Warren complimented her, so after that her favorite color was switched to baby or strawberry pink.

Mitsuki thinks that K-Pop music is cringe but she secretly has BTS, Twice, and Blackpink on her Spotify playlists. Ryuhei found out about this and she was pissed off up until this day lol.

Doo Lee once had a girlfriend who uses him for the money. She later on cheated with a new "handsome and charming" guy and when Doo found out he was FURIOUS. He later on was captured on camera beating the dude and when people found out he was canceled again on social media (pretty privileges never ends). He later on begged Daniel and Duke to make an apology video for him which looks so weird and scripted since Doo was pushing them. But luckily the drama heated down.

Magami Kenta's favorite vape flavors are watermelon, strawberry, and coffee.

Joy is very talented and skilled with nail art and she sells her products in a decent price even if it's REALLY DETAILED and well-crafted.

Sinu Han is a COMIC BOY FAN. Whether it's DC Comics, Marvel Comics, or even manga he's going to buy it. He later on posted on Twitter about how Gojo shouldn't have died since he relates to him so much (he was later on bullied by Samuel that he sounds like a weeb lmao).

RYAN NODA-- I have given it some thought and scrolled through your blog to find the Ryan Noda/Zack Gelof question I lobbed at you for lore.....the Sharks are so completely swagless compared to baseball players that I feel so bad about assigning him a boyfriend, like none of you deserve access to that ass. Maybe Anthony Duclair but he's not haunted enough. So I'm assigning Noda a minor leaguer we got for veteran presence who EYE like but also I think matches well with Noda's 27 year old first year in the majors...Cole Cassels!!!! He's played on EIGHT teams in FOUR leagues since he got drafted, including two leagues in Europe. And you have to be insane and truly out of options if you sign with the Barracuda as a vet, so I truly feel that his journeyman lifestyle would speak to the journey Noda has been on too! He also has the face of a friend, is very friendly, our frightened prospects love following him around, and apparently he loves a good tailgate.

Let’s face it, it’s a bad time for Aquaman to continue his adventures in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. A whole tidal wave of issues are pressing against the return of the King of Atlantis.

First off, and most basic – the world at large seems to be getting a case of superhero fatigue. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in particular is in a precarious place, as the last remnants of the old Zack Snyder-planned DCEU of which this film is a part has come to an end, and the new James Gunn DC universe is going in a completely different direction – a direction which may or may not include Aquaman. (The appearance is that at least for now, Aquaman has no place in Gunn’s DC films.)

The last several DCEU films have been box office disappointments, including The Flash, Shazam 2 and Blue Beetle. It’s not unique to DC, who has always been the also-ran comic book cinematic universe. Even the grand poohbah of the art form, Marvel, has had recent films become severe box office disappointments. (The Marvels, Thor: Love and Thunder and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, anyone?)

Not only that, but there have also long been rumors of an uncomfortable, strife-filled set for this film – particularly an apparent feud between star Jason Momoa and co-star Amber Heard, which is a concern, considering they are playing husband and wife. In fact, Heard’s role seems to have been cut due to Momoa’s insistence on limiting her involvement – although that limitation also may have to do with Heard being essentially cancelled after the infamous trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Still, Warner Brothers thought enough of Aquaman to toss it out in the deep end and make it a Christmas tentpole title.

I can’t say that I share their optimism. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is the best and the worst of modern superhero filmmaking all mixed up into a big, confusing mess. There is very little in the way of a plot here, although there is nearly constant eye-popping action which the filmmakers hope will distract you from the fact that not much of this stuff makes much (or any) sense.

Also, the attempts – mostly by Momoa, but by some other characters as well – to add some much-needed levity and humor to the film almost inevitably fall flat. (This was also a problem with the first Aquaman film.)

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is lost itself, a huge, shambling series of poorly edited (mostly) underwater battle sequences held together with just the barest wisp of a plot. And that little wisp of story is basically one we’ve seen over and over now, particularly in superhero movies.

The cast feels like they are on autopilot for the most part – particularly Nicole Kidman who looks like she would love to be anywhere, anywhere, but where she is. On the other hand, Randall Park steals pretty much every scene he is in as a scientist who is dragged into an evil plot.

I can sort of relate to him. Although, in fairness, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom does have some fun action sequences, for the most part you’d have to drag me kicking and screaming into ever watching this again.

Dear President Biden,

We are heartened by Friday's release of the two American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan [Raanan] and by today's release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, whose husbands remain in captivity.

But our relief is tempered by our overwhelming concern that 220 innocent people, including 30 children, remain captive by terrorists, threatened with torture and death. They were taken by Hamas in the savage massacre of October 7, where over 1,400 Israelis were slaughtered—women raped, families burned alive, and infants beheaded.

Thank you for your unshakable moral conviction, leadership, and support for the Jewish people, who have been terrorized by Hamas since the group's founding over 35 years ago, and for the Palestinians, who have also been terrorized, oppressed, and victimized by Hamas for the last 17 years that the group has been governing Gaza.

We all want the same thing: Freedom for Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in peace. Freedom from the brutal violence spread by Hamas. And most urgently, in this moment, freedom for the hostages.

We urge everyone to not rest until all hostages are released. No hostage can be left behind. Theory that a few others on YouTube have also had, and that I’ve held since the end of Remake:

Time is not a straight line. Destiny, as put forth by Red XIII, as gleaned from Aerith when they did their mindmeld, is the sequence of events recorded within the Lifestream from the planet’s inception to its destruction. It is, in essence, the memory of the planet. And when a certain someone starts fucking with that memory for his own agenda, the planet uses Whispers/Arbiter’s of Fate to protect itself, to protect the sacred ~Flow of Events~

And then Aerith, in her infinite wisdom, leads Cloud and gang after Sephiroth, into this Singularity, where they defeat the Weapon-sized Arbiter, the Whispers, and “Sephiroth”, leaving the planet’s memory vulnerable as all shit. Because they didn’t actually kill Sephiroth. Or Jenova. They just punched Destiny in the face and think that’s a good thing.

Moving on.

When they did that, this affected Time. Most importantly, from what we can tell, this affected Zack’s Destiny. And a potato chip bag. But mostly Zack’s Destiny. The Whispers weren’t there to ensure he dropped dead. They’re not there to keep him from going to Midgar. And thus the memory of the planet becomes as fucked up as Cloud’s.

Aerith, in the English trailer, says that what happened in the past is Permanent. They just need to worry about the future. Past is permanent and ~forever~.

And we know damn well that that ain’t true because Zack walked away from that cliff. I don’t care if you think he’s in an alternate reality or not. He walked away from that cliff. He walked to Midgar. The past--my sweet princess of the Cetra who thinks she knows everything--can be changed. And it was changed by you trying to change the future. Because sequences of events are dependent on each other, and by changing the future the past must change to make that future possible. It’s all connected.

Now. In the Japanese version of the trailer, Cloud mentions Zack by name. Cloud knows that Zack was with him five years ago and is wondering where he went. Cloud doesn’t think Zack is dead. Cloud thinks Zack is missing. This is a sharp change from Remake, where Cloud couldn’t remember Zack. Anytime something reminded him of Zack, his brain used to short circuit. ...But it’s not doing that anymore, going by this dialogue.

To me, this means they’re in the same timeline. And that history was rewritten because of the crew’s actions in Remake.

Another thing I noticed is that the white feather that floats down--which some have said is Aerith’s (???) or Zack’s, because he’s a force ghost now and it is mere metaphor that he’s guiding Cloud to Midgar (???)--comes from the Lifestream. How do I know that? Because there’s stupid Lifestream sparkles in those clouds before it floats down.

There is one character, in all of FFVII, that has white wings and white feathers and that is Angeal. Angeal who, at the end of Crisis Core, was the one that brought Zack into the Lifestream. Do you remember that? The clouds morphing into a giant, golden lion and then, “Simba, remember who you are--” ... Okay, so that was The Lion King, but it’s the same fucking thing. Angeal was around, ghostily, when Zack died. ...But Zack didn’t die this time. He kept walking. So now we have a white feather falling out of the Lifestream-cloud-sparkles towards Zack and Cloud.

If anything, THAT is more important to me. Angeal being an active will within the Lifestream because Zack didn’t die, probably putting him at odds against Sephiroth’s will, who is after Cloud because, “If ye had a chance ta change yer fate, WOODJA?”

...Oh, and Charlie Sheen is alive. Can’t forget about him. Sure he’ll be important later and not thrown out a window by some plot ghosts, since they don’t exist anymore. F in the chat for Wedge.

Once she started going to school, she started bullying and beating up all the other kids for her adoptive father's appreciation, she picked on girls, boys, tall kids, and short kids until she turned 13 and started escalating to crime outside of school and using her superpowers for evil from robbing banks to stealing candy from babies and thus became Black Knight. But soon, a teenage boy by the name of Victor Wayne was locked up in the prison where she was raised for terrorizing the city with a giant robot. “Dead End: Paranormal Park” – An Inclusive Horror Series For All

Dead End: Paranormal Park follows the story of two teens, Barney and Norma, who work at a haunted theme park during the summer. They face zombies, witches, and other challenges along the way.

Reprinted from The Geekiary, my History Hermann WordPress blog on Feb. 5, 2023, and Wayback Machine. This was the forty-fifth article I wrote for The Geekiary. This post was originally published on July 13, 2022.

Dead End: Paranormal Park is an animated supernatural horror fantasy series created by Hamish Steele, a British gay autistic comics writer. It is based on Steele's DeadEndia graphic novel series and his 2014 "Dead End" animated short.

As a warning, this recommendation discusses some spoilers for season one of Dead End: Paranormal Park.

Dead End: Paranormal Park centers around Barney Guttman (Zack Barack), a gay Jewish trans man, and Norma Khana, a woman of Pakistani descent who is autistic. She was described as "neurodiverse" in the show's official press release. They show up for the same job at a haunted house in Phoenix Parks, an amusement park owned by Pauline Phoenix (Miss Coco Peru). It is much different than what they imagined.

17-year-olds Barney and Norma are almost possessed by the demon king Temeluchus (Alex Brightman) but Barney's animal companion, Pugsley (Brightman) saves Barney. His body is taken over, with Barney and Norma working together to trap Temeluchus inside a photograph, and causing Pugsley to gain the power to talk. In the process, they meet Courtney (Emily Osment), a thousand-year-old demon who gives them both jobs as security guards. She has a loyalty to Temeluchus, vowing to help him no matter what.

This is only scratching the surface. Barney has a family he feels that he can't trust after they didn't defend him (and his trans identity) when his grandma said mean and hurtful things about him. So, he begins living at the park instead of coming home. He feels that Pugsley is his only family. This contrasts with Norma, who seems to have a more loving family.

In later episodes, it is revealed that Barney has a crush on a man of Vietnamese descent, Logan "Logs" Nguyen (Kenny Tran). Also introduced is Badyah "Deathslide" Hassan (Kathreen Khavari), a Muslim of Iranian descent. Norma seems to have a crush on her. Barney's younger brother, Patrick Guttman (Tucker Chandler), appears later.

As the series moves forward, the protagonists face more challenges, like creepy old mascots, who cause terror but seem misunderstood. Norma's obsession with the park and its founder makes her helpful in more ways than one. This is especially the case when Pugsley, who can now talk, releases the mascots when he feels left behind by Barney. These themes are integral to this young adult animation.

Through it all, Barney finds a chosen family in the park. As he tells Norma, it is a place that can be himself, choosing if, and when, he tells people he is trans. It is different from when he is at home or a school, where everyone knows he is trans, causing extra pressure. This series expands trans storytelling in animation and LGBTQ+ storytelling. After all, Barney's voice actor, Zach Barack, is a trans man in real-life.

It is different for Norma, who struggles with social awkwardness. As it turns out, what Steele went through as an autistic (and gay) person himself informed the writing of her character. This makes the character even more genuine than autistic characters like Stephanie "Stephie" Bondu in Assigned Male or Entrapta in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

In one episode, we learn the fears and anxieties of all the characters when a supposed guru claims he is there to "help" employees. Norma breaks people out of their fear-dreams and realizes her biggest fear is anxiety.

She reveals that her fear world is the real world. It causes the skull to crack, killing the instructor and making him explode. While this may seem gory for an animated show, it is nothing in comparison to the bloodiness of The Executioner and Her Way of Life or the bloody fights in Helluva Boss.

This contrasts with the fear of Barney, who does not fear his grandma, but his parents, feeling they don't have his back and won't support him. In the end, Norma confides in Barney, Courtney, and Pugsley that working at the park is her dream job.

Like any supernatural series, magic plays an important part. Courtney sees Puglsey, who has a shard of the demon kind in him, as a way to get home. This goes hand in hand with horror, like children possessed by a night spirit in one episode. But there can be levity.

The night spirit, Cheryl, and its component, Linda, the day spirit, are sisters, and dislike people labeling them as "hags". They leave to go to a place that is less judgy. This is not at all surprising considering that the series takes inspiration from the Addams Family, especially Adams Family Values, as tweets from Steele indicate. Pugsley is even named after Pugsley from the Addams Family, but also he is a pug dog, and Steele had a guinea pig with the same name.

The series sends the message that you should accept people for who they are and not make any assumptions, and be respectful of other people's identities. (Shows with similar messages include Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra)

With Courtney, a character who is unaware of gender and uses any pronouns, according to the show's creator, as a protagonist, the series makes demons a big part of the story. She wants to go home to the demon realm, leading Barney, Pugsley, and Norma to even play on a game show, Hox's Castle. They do this in hopes of making Courtney feel better about herself, although they have to go through pain along the way, including Barney coming back from the dead.

Later in the series, Courtney finally gets back to the demon world. She gets what she wants after making a Faustian bargain with Pauline. She realizes it is not all she thought it would be. It is depressing and she is more alone than she is on Earth. So, she comes back.

On that note, love is an important theme in the series, either romantic love or familial love. Barney struggles with both, but especially the latter. By the end of the series, he has made amends with his parents, who commit to doing better and making the house more welcoming.

In the case of the former, he tries to express his feelings toward Logs. A Black lesbian couple at one point, and possession of his body at another point, try to help. In the final part of the series, Logs helps get him out of jail and both agree to start dating.

Norma, as the socially awkward one, slowly expresses her feelings toward Badyah. As Steele revealed in a message to a fan, Norma likes multiple genders and is not straight. Some reviewers called her a "neurodivergent POC lesbian" or simply said she has a queer relationship with another girl (Badyah). In any case, another season would likely expand on this relationship.

All the characters in this series have traumatic experiences. Even Barney admits he has a therapist at one point. They are almost killed or maimed on various occasions. Worse is when their souls exit their bodies when they take possession of Barney.

They learn the dark secrets of the park and who is behind the disappearance of the Pauline impersonators. At first, it seems like Barborah (Karen Maruyama), the custodian, is behind it, but it's more complex than that. They learn, when traveling through her that the real Pauline died. Someone else replaced her during Pauline's first commercial.

On that point, the series criticizes the cult of celebrity worship. Pauline is not the happy and goody two shoes type of character she seems. Instead, she is a bit of a monster, a phantom if you will. The park is not what it appears to be, with connections to the demon world and elsewhere.

There are occasional breaks in the fourth wall. Courtney says, in episode 7, she had "so much character development" since the first episode. This is akin to Peridot's retort in Steven Universe: The Movie after taking out the rejuvenator: "I could have lost all my character development".

The show's next-to-last episode is completely a musical. This is like many Steven Universe episodes since creator Rebecca Sugar is a big lover of musicals from what I've read. In some ways, it reminded me of the Elena of Avalor episode "Sweetheart's Day" when Armando causes everyone to sing throughout the episode. It also made me think of the anime series Healer Girl focused on a group of girls who have the power to heal people with their songs.

Similar to gen:LOCK and The Executioner and Her Way of Life, internal mental struggles, either with real or imagined beasts, are something the characters have to endure. It is similar to the latter in the sense that it is queer and gay in many ways.

The end of Dead End somewhat echoes the final episodes of High Guardian Spice. The latter series features two trans characters, Caraway and Snapdragon, the latter working through her transition throughout the series. Not surprisingly, the series creator, Raye Rodriguez, happily supported Dead End, along with other animated series like Amphibia and Arcane.

In Dead End, many of the characters are turned into stone. This is like the town of Lyngarth was accidentally turned to stone by a terrasphere by the catgirl, Olive, in High Guardian Spice. Different from that series is the fact that Dead End includes spirits like Pauline who come to save the park, and a demon king. This causes a demon general, Tammie, to retreat and flee in defeat.

A second season could pick up where the first season left off. It could be in the aftermath of Pauline being zapped out of existence by angels, who are about to begin their "visit" (assault). There could be more on a romantic relationship between Logs and Barney, who kiss in the final episode. The same could be the case for growing romantic feelings between Norma and Badyah.

Having said that, I need to tell you that Netflix, more than any other streaming service, has declared war on its animation department. The controversial series, Q-Force, and many high-profile series in development were canceled. Before this, series like City of Ghosts, Centaur World, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, and Kid Cosmic, came to an end.

As such, the prospect for Dead End's renewal looks grim, as do many other animated series currently on the platform, with a few exceptions. Hopefully, Netflix will see the value of LGBTQ+ storylines and a show with a diversity of experiences and identities, especially when it comes to trans stories, and continue it. But, I'm not too confident in them doing so.

Debuting on 16 June 2022, all 10 episodes of Dead End: Paranormal Park season one are currently streaming on Netflix.

anyway! i do have a Z! actually, quite a few of them! but i am going to limit myself to talking about one that doesn't have his own story anymore but is still important to me: Zack Carnelian.

zack is more important for sentimental reasons than anything--i created him around the time i realized that i'm trans, and y'know i'm not SAYING that creating a transmasc were-hyena fella had anything to do with that but,,,,, it didn't NOT have anything to do with that.

(should clarify that zack wasn't my first transmasc oc, nor is he even one i projected onto that much, but y'know. don't think it's a coincidence that he was my favorite oc at the time i Realized Things.)

i kinda wanna redraw him soon tbh, i haven't paid any attention to him in a while </3

anyway, zack was created as one half of an oc duo that my partner and i created together, based on the premise of like. enemies to lovers, with one being based on a lion and the other on a hyena. zack was the hyena, and my partner's OC ari was the lion!!! their relationship was fucked up and codependent and toxic as hell, but we had a lot of fun developing them and their dynamic.

the basic premise for zack as a character is that he's a member of a gang of were-creatures who generally cause trouble and get in fights with another, more powerful and influential group of were-creatures (which ari was a part of). i don't quite remember how ari and zack ended up meeting and getting together, but yeah they were the epitome of Be Gay Do Crimes and i love that for them.

anyway uhh misc. zack facts:

i have started two separate fanfics starring him that i didn't end up finishing--one for mysmes and one for star days.

zack is a deeply fucked up little dude and his ideas about relationships and how they should work are not healthy in the slightest. to be fair, ari isn't much better, and that's why those two are perfect for each other

Just something I made at midnight :D

I put my stuff down, and head towards the gym. I saw Maya talking to someone, but she quickly went to choir. I'm in the gym for a couple minutes, then Amanda walks in. "Amanda :D" "hi :D". I then tell her that Zack said "me gusta comer Gato" in spanish. She was indeed surprised.

She then had to leave for gym a, where Ms.madden's class is almost always hidden. I had to go on the bleachers in gym c, as always. Feldkamp took attendance and said we were going to play basketball But of course, with Mr tretter's class. Ms madden's class was playing whamyball. He said we needed teams of 3, so when I saw Cassie and Emily, I decided to join their team. Our team had to play in gym c, bc gym b was for basketball players, I think. So I wasn't able to see anyone in gym a. But, during the whole entire class, I could hear Bennett literally screaming "YEAAAAA" (It happens a lot). Or at least I think it's him.. who else would it be?

The first round we had to play linnea, Kaleigh, and zahra. We weren't even properly playing, we were just taking turns shooting hoops. I was so tired, I could not stop daydreaming. The whole time. Literally no point during basketball where I was not daydreaming. Now that I think abt it, it would've been so much more embarrassing if Ms madden's class had to do basketball, bc.. there are some really good basketball players in that class..

The second round we played Forest, and 2 other guys I don't remember the names of. One kinda looked like evan. Forest seemed to be trying to teach Emily abt basketball.. bc he was explaining something abt a checkup with the ball? I don't even know how I remember stuff they said while being so tired.

During the first 2 rounds of 10 minute games, Cassie would wake me up by passing me the ball like 1 time per game, which I was fine with. At least it wasn't a million times.

For the 3rd and final round, we had to play against Sophie and her friends, including Natalie and Camryn. But the thing was, they were not playing and just sitting on the bleachers for the whole class. So of course, we couldn't play them. None of us three wanted to ask them to play since we know how that would go, so we just sat on the bleachers. I day dreamed a bit, watched Gavin's game, and looked at the timer thing on the wall. But while watching Gavin's game, I had realized something.

One of the many guys I didnt know the name of, someone on the team said his name. I always called this person James since they kinda look like james. It turns out their name was actually lucas. This made me scan him for a bit. Was this the Lucas that rizzed the statue? I saw signs. The face, the hat, the hair..

It was indeed the Lucas who rizzed the statue. This surprised me bc I thought I hadn't seen Lucas since 7th grade. Ig I was wrong. He wasnt a short king.

Cassie and Emily had some interesting conversations while I watched the game, but we'll talk abt those later. The timer finally ended, and both 2 classes went to the locker rooms. I waited outside the gym doors for Amanda, but realized madden's class was still playing. So I went back to the locker room.

I grab my stuff, and I'm abt to leave the locker room when suddenly, I see Lyla running into the locker room, being chased by amanda. I asked Amanda what happened. She said she was walking, and just started sprinting. She says it's funny, do that's why she did it. We then started talking about characters with a few others, while Lyla hid from amanda at the stalls. We then start walking out as I tell Lyla she can come out of her hiding spot. She didnt. Then Amanda said "cya loser!".
