Late night drawing because I rewatched the fox and the hound 2, and I loved that movie when I was younger.
Just, y'know.. except the stereotypical straight couple energy lmao..

Here's my take on Balto and Aleu, I wanted them both to look a bit more like wolves, while still being recognizable!

"Kära ulver du bit inte mig, dig vill jag giva min guldkrona!
Guldkrona jag passa ej på, ditt unga liv och blod måst gå!"
Here's a vent piece, inspired by the song "varulven" by Garmarna

"Hellhorse or horse from hell, also called church horse or corpse horse"
Helhesten is a creature from Scandinavian folklore. The 3 legged, ghostly horse is a sign of death and disease. If you're lucky, you hear the clip-clip-clop, clip-clip-clop of the hooves, just in time to close your eyes, cause if you see it, your death is sure to follow shortly.
A church could not be built if a white horse wasn't offered first, buried alive beneath it. Helhesten roams graveyards at night. It's best to stay away, if you want to stay alive.
__________
When I was 11-12 years old, I loved reading books about ghosts and folklore creatures. I found a book about Helhesten at the library one day, and it scared the crap out of me for months, I was never able to forget it, and it remains one of my fave myths today
