I got interested in the "classic" Thanos (What I'd consider from first apperance to his Annihilation appearance) all of a sudden very recently. I think he's a really fun character and his relationship with Death over the 90s and 00s is pretty interesting too. "Modern" Thanos (his characterization Thanos Imperative onward) is definetly less complex than previously, but he's also very fun in the right hands, the 2016 series being an absolute highlight of the best modern Thanos can be, but he's definetly not the same character that was being written before, that's for sure.

Sorry if I talked too long about him, but I'm sure it's no problem to you in specific.

The Children of Thanos.

It was a typical spring day, the farmers market in Greenwich Village was blooming. Flowers, fruits, vegetables, all the colours were so vibrant. Walking past a fruit stall, you can’t help but smile when you notice the plums. If only he could have been here with you, pick out some for your fruit bowl in the home you created together. But, no, it couldn’t be done. Not yet anyway.

You carried on your morning walk around the city, daydreaming of what may be. You smiled and waved at locals, and took photos with anyone who asked. “Miss Stark! Welcome!” You knew the city loved you. The child of a genius, a superhero. They adored your father for what he created, they adored you for who you are. The kind, empathetic daughter of Tony Stark.

You stopped just by the end of a stall and pulled out a flip phone, but still no messages. Suddenly, a non-forecasted breeze began to pick up. And, fast. Before you knew it, the plums from earlier began to roll past you in the street. Intuitively, you tapped your chest and allowed the nanotechnology to cover your entire body. Pink and gold wrapped around you perfectly as you rushed to help stop stalls flying, catching pushed-over citizens.

“Friday? Where’s my dad currently?” You called to the AI within your suit while pulling an elderly man back up onto his feet, guiding him to a nearby cafe where other pedestrians have taken safety. A blue digital map appears on the holographic display with the location of your dad. 177A Bleecker Street. Not far, you thought to yourself.

Finally, you reached the address Friday had given you. You burst through the front door of the place, releasing your head gear the moment you notice your dad.

“Dad! Bruce? You might want to get out here and see this!” You didn’t stay to see if they were following, you ran out as quickly as you ran in. Making your way towards the source of wind and destruction, you continued to help fallen citizens.

You fight your hardest to keep Bruce safe, you don’t understand what is happening with him and Hulk but that was their issue, all you could do was protect them both.

“Wong, you’re invited to my wedding.” Watching your dad fly up to reach Peter and the ship, you began to thrust your reactors to follow his lead. “No, I need you on Earth.” His voice echoed through your comms, you tried to argue back with him but he knew what your argument would be and he didn’t want to hear it. “Now, Y/N, please.”

Just like that, you were back on the ground standing with Bruce, watching him pick up your dad’s burner from the ground.

“Bruce?” He looked up at you, seeing how your eyes were fixed on the phone.

“Yeah, kid?”

“Call Steve.”

Brother.

After Bruce had called Steve, you both headed back to the compound and explained the situation to Rhodey. You frantically start to move things around the holographic screens trying anything to locate Vision.

“Hey, Steve’s on his way, it’s okay.” Bruce came over trying to calm you down, he knew that look on your face. It was the same face Tony pulled when he was focused and lost in it.

“He’s the closest thing I have to a brother, I need to find him, Bruce.” Picking up your phone, you tried to call him, you tried Wanda too, but no answer,

“Tony said-“ Bruce pointed to an error on the holographic, referring back to when your dad explained Vision couldn’t be located.

“My dad doesn’t know shit, Bruce.” You continued to go over everything on the screen, hearing only mumbles from Rhodey in the other room. You’re too fixated on the screens to realise they weren’t just his. Until the movement of Bruce walking out catches your eye.

“This is awkward.” Sam! You close the screens down and rush out to where Bruce is now standing. Steve, Natasha, Sam, Wanda and Vision. They all are here standing in the compound once again.

“Vis?” You gasp as you notice he is limping, being held up by Sam and Wanda. “Come on, let’s get you fixed up.” You relieve Sam from his duty and help Wanda get Vision back into the office to rest. Passing, you make eye contact with Steve, and exchange a look that only has meaning between you two.

“We have to destroy it.” That one sentence made you stop thinking and trying to understand. A quick “What?!” escaped as you glared at your android brother. You knew that if that stone got destroyed, especially while still in Vision's head then he’d be destroyed too. Vision and Wanda began the conversation about her being the one to do it, you couldn’t help but feel for them both. On one side, your brother is asking your best friend to kill him. On the other, your best friend was being asked to do the impossible.

You listened, it was all you could do, to the discussion further. Bruce explains that it isn’t just the stone that makes Vision, Vision. It’s Jarvis and Ulton. Your dad, Bruce and the Stone. Even, you. The discussion led to carrying out a procedure to remove the stone while keeping Vision exactly how he is. All they needed was someone able and a place to do it.

Once again, you and Steve exchanged looks. He grabbed your hand and squeezed it with a nod.

“I know somewhere.”

Wakanda.

You sensed a sort of thrill flying into Wakanda, you’ve admired the entire country and its technology since finding out about its existence. You also admired how welcoming, understanding and extremely helpful they have been in keeping your not-so-little secret. You sighed in relief as you edged closer to the kingdom, knowing soon you’d be the safest you have ever been in your life.

You look over at Vision sending him a hopeful smile. Knowing first-hand how incredibly smart Shuri is, you know your brother is in safe hands. That's what Wakanda meant to you. Safety. Protection. He reached out, squeezing your hand. He knew you were deep down terrified of something happening to him, you are his big sister after all.

“Whatever happens -“ he began, you stopped him giving him a ‘do not say another word’ look.

“It’s going to work. It HAS to work.” You emphasised you couldn’t think of any alternative. Not when it was his life on the line. You already couldn’t get a hold of your dad or Pete. Vision was not leaving as well.

When you landed in Wakanda, everyone made their way off the jet but you held back for a moment. You double-checked yourself in the mirror, noting your puffy eyes from the tiredness from fighting, flying and mind-blowing experience yet, you smiled. What waited for you outside of the jet would make it okay.

“A semi-stable, 100-year-old man.” You heard his voice as you started walking down from the jet. You watched as Steve went in for a hug with an old friend, Bucky’s eyes caught yours as he finished the embrace.

“James!” You exclaimed as you ran towards him, jumping to wrap your legs around his waist, his arms tightening around your back. He held you as close as he possibly could.

“Hey Doll.” He whispered as started to place a soft kiss on your cheek, taking in your scent. Neither of you noticed the glances from your fellow heroes.

As everyone begins to gather outside, you give Vision a reassuring look as you decide to wait outside with Bucky and Sam. You talk together about the journey, Buck’s new arm that you helped Shuri design on your private trips to Wakanda.

Suddenly, the defence shield around Wakanda destroys a vessel that tries to enter the atmosphere. You felt your boyfriend’s left arm wrap around your waist, it felt strange for a moment as you grew used to always having the right one around you.

“God, I love this place.” You watched his smile as the three of you looked up at the explosion the shield had protected you from.

No Goodbye.

You fought your way towards Thanos, dodging his attacks and shooting blasts. If it wasn’t for that one stone, the wizard's stupid green glowing stone freezing you in a stance, you could have prevented it all.

You watched frozen unable to move, scream, or cry as Wanda, your best friend, destroyed a part of your brother that was currently keeping him alive. You watched as his body turned grey, falling to the floor. Then, before you knew it, you watched him come back to life only for Thanos to kill him again only this time. He forced the stone out of Vision's head, leaving a hole the size of a fist in his head.

You saw everything. Your friends and family are lying on the ground, defeated. Your best friend is devastated holding onto your brother’s lifeless body. Your eyes searched everywhere for Bucky, your internal thoughts screaming his name in search of him. Then, you saw Thor coming down with force and an axe, but, he was too late and went for the heart.

The second Thanos left, you fell to the ground, rushing to Vision’s body.

“Vis?” You screamed at his body, shaking it to wake him up. “Come on, Vis! Get up!” Wanda grabbed you, shaking you until you looked at her. You both collapsed into each other arms over Vision's body.

“Steve?” His voice, he was okay. You dropped Wanda’s embrace for a second to look over at the man you fell in love with. Before you had fully stood to run to him, he just disappeared.

“James!” Screaming his name as you hastily ran towards the spot he disappeared from. Steve caught you in his arms before you could fall to the floor. “James!!” You kept screaming, looking around frantically thinking it was just the light playing mind games with you. Placing both of his hands against your cheeks, Steve forced you to look him in the eyes, reminding you to breathe. “Where’d he go, Steve?”

“I don’t -“ he began before you pushed him away, you had watched the rest of the world disappearing in the reflection of his eyes. “Y/N?” He called as you ran to where your best friend had once been sitting comforting you.

You turned back to face Steve, Bruce, Thor and Natasha. Your face soaked from the tears that would not stop flowing. It had been hours, who knows how many since you last heard from your dad or Pete, now, you’ve lost Wanda, Vision and Bucky.

“They’re all gone.”

pairing: tom!peter x stark!reader

warnings: use of y/n, she/her, swearing, mentions of blood and fighting (scenes used from endgame)

a/n: i love peter parker sm i just HAD to write another blurb (also for my bexi boo mwah)

y/n never thought she'd fight a giant purple alien from space, let alone fighting him twice. five years ago she was on titan fighting the alien, then she blipped, alongside half of the world.

five years later she's on the same planet fighting the same purple asshole.

herself and others all came out of different sized portals created by doctor strange. y/n walked out with peter parker, her best friend. she looked around, seeing the army of avengers, ready to fight the battle.

her and peter, and everyone else, got in their positions as they heard steve, "avengers. assemble."

and with those two words, the team of most likely one hundred people ran towards thanos' army.

sam and valkyrie ended up in the sky at some point during the battle, while everyone else mostly stayed on the ground. scott turned huge again since the fight in germany, and immediately started stomping on the evil aliens.

the rest of the avengers started fighting the aliens that remained on the ground. bucky snd rocket shooting them together, with groot branching his arms through the aliens' bodies.

y/n and peter never left each others side as they ran towards the battle. the avengers' goal was to get tony's gaunlet away from thanos once it had all six infinity stones in it. all they had to do was get thanos' gaunlet, easy.

ten minutes pass and most of the avengers are injured while lying on the ground, the only few remaining are tony, steve, thor, peter, y/n, clint, valkyrie and pepper.

dealing with the team of eight they have, they create a plan to beat thanos.

"y/n, sweetheart i know you can fight and i know you can fight well," tony starts, placing his hands on his daughters shoulders, "but i need you to run away, i don't want you anywhere near here when we get the stones, capisce?"

a concerned look shows up on y/n's face, "what? dad, no, i'm not just leaving you guys here. let me he-"

y/n got cut off by tony hugging her, followed by pepper hugging her as well.

the family of three backed up from each other. tony looked back to the rest of the remaining avengers, giving y/n the signal to walk away.

yes, she was going to walk away from the problem, but as she saw her father, and peter start running towards thanos she knew she couldn't just watch.

taking out the ninja stars she has in her suit, she throws them at thanos' wrist to try and get his gaunlet off.

"what- y/n! i told you to run!" tony yells from inside his suit, while blasting thanos.

"i told you, i'm not just leaving you guys!" y/n yells.

tony backs away slightly, before finding clint with the red iron man gauntlet. tony takes it from him and passes it to peter. "peter run!" tony yells before going back to fight with thanos.

y/n watches as peter runs from thanos with her dad's gaunlet.

peter runs as fast as he can before he gets knocked down into a pile of rubble. a giant blue and yellow beam comes down in front of him.

"hi- hello," peter stutters to the blonde woman, "i'm peter parker."

"well peter parker," the woman starts, "you have something for me?"

peter nods as he hands her tony's gaunlet before she flies off.

peter stands up from the rubble, and watches in shock as y/n is on thanos' shoulders trying to fight him.

"y/n!" he yells as he watches thanos throw the poor girl at least 100 yards away. peter immediately runs after to look for her, "um- mr. stark, sir i'm going to try and find y/n."

"oh you better find my daughter alive parker," tony grumbles into the teams shared intercoms.

finally seeing the sight of y/n rolled over onto her side, holding her stomach, peter removes the nano-tech mask from his face.

he rolls y/n over to see the girl with dust and small marks of blood on her face. "hey, hey y/n you gotta wake up. your dad's gonna kill me if you don't," peter laughs, shaking the girl.

"cmon, please wake up."

tears brim peter's eyes, seeing the girl he's fallen in love with get hurt right in front of his eyes.

the only thought going through the boys mind was that he never got to tell her how he felt.

as he talked on his com, his voice was weak. "mr- mr stark i need help! she isn't waking up!"

tony's heart rate drops. disregarding the giant purple alien in front of him, he flies over to where he saw peter run off to. he flies down to the ground to be met with an unconscious y/n in peter's arms.

"friday, read y/n's vitals," tony instructs his ai.

"vitals steady. oxegyn decreased 20%. heartbeat decreased 10%."

"shit," tony mumbles. "you stay with her kid, i have to beat this asshole," he gestures back to thanos. "keep her alive!" tony yells as he flies back to the main fight going on.

peter looks down at y/n again, still with tears threatening to spill over. "y/n," his voice cracks, "please don't leave me."

the tears mentioned before finally spill, leaving peter's cheeks hot and lips trembling. he leans down and presses his lips to hers, while holding her jaw in his hand.

"please, please, please," peter kept mumbling against her lips, tears not decreasing in pace.

peter notices y/n start breathing heavier, he starts shaking her again. "hey, hey cmon, y.n wake up. i cant lose you, i just can't y/n."

peter sighs, "i love you."

y/n starts coughing slightly, before rolling over onto her hands and knees and coughing more than before.

peter immediately starts rubbing his hand up and down her back, "hey, thatta girl," he laughs slightly, glad she's okay, "cough it all up."

"oh my god," y/n gasps, before sitting on her knees on the ground.

"are you okay?" peter asks, keeping his hand on her lower back. y/n only nods, while peter places a kiss on the top of the girls head.

"i love you too," y/n whispers after leaning her head against peter's shoulder.

breaking away from each other, the two teenagers turn around to see a giant multicolored beam shoot up into the sky, yet the two didn't see thanos with the gaunlet at all.

y/n gasps lightly, before running to where the others were. peter followed after, "no, no, no," y/n keeps mumbling to herself as they got closer to the rest of the team.

peter got in front of y/n, incase anything was a threat to them. y/n couldn't see what was going on, but she saw the group surrounding someone lying on the floor.

she looked around, not seeing her father anywhere. a thousand thoughts flooded the girls' mind.

she heard peter talk to someone, but his words were muffled as her brain wouldn't let her think the worst possible solution happened.

pepper holds peter in her arms, comforing the boy, which left a small pathway for y/n to go through.

"dad," y/n whispers, jogging to her father who was leaning against a piece of a broken ship. "dad hey, cmon, get up. we have to go back home."

y/n grabs his hand as she starts crying, she couldn't hold her tears back any longer.

tony looks up at his daughter weakly before placing his other hand on the side of her face, "tell parker he better take good care of you," tony says weakly, making y/n nod and smile softly.

tony leans up with the rest of the energy he has left and kisses y/n's cheek. y/n and the rest of the group watch as tony leans back against the broken ship, and see his arc reactor light dim.

"no, no, no, no," y/n keeps mumbling tapping on the arc reactor.

her heart drops when the light fully turns off. everything around her goes quiet as she leans her forehead on her fathers chest.

this was it. she'd never see him again. never talk to him again. never tell him how her first day of senior year was. never tell him how amazing her first date with peter went. nothing.

pepper lets go of peter to go bid tony a final goodbye. peter helps y/n up off of her father and immediately holds her head to his own chest.

he tries his best to calm her down by cooing to her.

"shhh."

"it'll all be okay."

"you're so strong, you're going to get through this."

"i'll always be here for you."

"i'll always protect you y/n."

y/n lifts her head to look peter in the eyes. "you better not leave me parker," y/n kisses his cheek.

"never in a million years," the boy replies, holding the girl close to him, kissing the top of her head again.

How What if...Zombies Spidey gets to the DCU

Here's the second part of this post

This is about how Zombie!Peter (And possibly others) got to the DCU. the third part will be the HC on what he is going to be doing overther, but for now wh need to know how he got there

Also,I accidentally uploaded my original draft for this but it wasn't finished so I had to delete it so I lost all of that writing TnT

-Starting this off with more timeline explanations! Let's goooooooo

Ok so anything that happens on Earth has absolutely no effect on the rest of the universe, that means that all of the guardian movies and Thor Ragnarok happens when they originally did in the OG timeline.

"But Thor and Loki met Strange 3 days before Infinity war" SHhhhhhh, trust and listen. Since Loki really didn't want to deal with his dad, Instead of just sending him to Earth, She sends him to a different reality Earth. How? But studying the space stone of course. Not to mention he spent a good while researching and studying the aether when he was king and before they sent it to the collector. With this in mind, Loki taught himself how to access and travel to different realities (Remember this)

That means that Bruce B. gets back on Earth at the same time he did in the original, in 2018. Infinity war takes place in about a day or so and seeing as Thanos is on Earth by the end of the episode, let's say that the episode takes place over a time period of about 24-48 hours. A weekend if you will.

That, adding onto the fact I made the zombie apocalypse 7-8 months long instead of 1 month changes a few things timeline wise. Not only does it push Ant-Man & The Wasp back many months, It also means that there's a high chance Bucky's brainwashing isn't 100% gone, and that the apocalypse started around a year or so after Homecoming.

-What is happening without space friends? Well...

Loki wasnt Fucking Stupid and died like and idiot here!

(Your the god of fucking mischief and yet the only thing you can think to do is a knife?!? A fucking Knife? Not even to the back as has been stated you have done in your own goddamn show, But right in the face where he can very clearly see it you short dumbass!)

N E Ways- Loki did something, yk, smart and joined up with Thanos cause like, Dude the guy was winning! Loki was gonna play a long game and work with him again to get his opening. . .Then they killed his fucking brother! Yeah this has not been a good day for him- He is sent to stalk Earth with the other dudes but he decides to stay on the ship and

Loki looking down at Earth though the ship's surveillance systems: WTF did the mortals do!?!?

Alien helper Loki asked for and somehow got: Would you like to go down there sir?

Loki getting comfortable and changing his clothes into something cozy after a very traumatic day: Norse no, Get me a bigger monitor and some food, I wanna see where this goes.

And then Loki just watches like the agent of chaos he is. (Remember this too)

What about Thor? Well Thor doesn't really die, Loki just sees the explosion of the ship and just assumes. He still teams up with half the guardians and everything still happens like the movie for him until he gets to Wakanda.

AND OH BOY LET ME TALK ABOUT WAKANDA

(The Guardians? Canon. Literally the only difference could be that maybe Peter Q. and Co. die immediately on Titan without the space roadtrip trio.)

-Wakanda? Gone

Okoye Was sent to America and everything went to hell lol.

No but Seriously, The King was gone, Okoye went to look for him, and Wakanda was left pretty defenseless. I say that the country was already compromised before she left, but it only started causing trouble after she left, so she has no clue what happened. the important thing isn't Okoye though, no the important thing is Thor. More specifically, Thor, Rocket and Groot when they get there. I can see 2 things happening.

1-they get infected immediately and all of a sudden you get a Zombified God with an axe walking around with a tree and a raccoon. All there while his brother is watching the man, he thought was dead, truly die. ( he gets the feeling that this is Karma) Or,

2- They fight the Zombies thinking they are part of Thanoses army like total badasses, not knowing what they are fighting or getting infected. All while Loki I absolutely shell shocked watching this from a 5th monster mouth agape. (Ones watching visions base with the king and witch, Twos watching the group trying to get to the base, Threes watching some old guy sitting in a park absolutely unbothered, And Forths could be the other dead people from the last post, idk, the separate continuity for the AU gets a mention lol)}

Loki in ver. 1: Absolute depression

Loki in ver. 2: Slacked jawed as he watches his brother be a complete dumbass

-So, How did they he skip dimension?

Well everything from the episode happens the same. Maybe a bit more emotional because they are closer, but every one we see die, Dies. Why? Uhh duh, angst and plot potential, why else?

and its, Everyone one we see die. Let me explain. Anyone we see get turned or killed on screen, It's death. If a character dies off screen but the situation is bad and impossible for said person to get out of, it's death. BUT, if a character is killed off screen but theoretically they could escape, they can live.

Ex For this rule: Happy is hit by a speeding car off screen that implies death= Death, Reason? He's a normal dude T'Challa is hit by a speeding car off screen that implies death= Can Live, Reason? He has the powers of the Black Panther

You Got That? cool. with that in mind, and what I can remember atm, this is the list of people who live

Peter P.- Scott L.- King T'Challa.- Bruce B.- Bucky B.- Rocket R.- Groot-Thor- Loki. Igs, if you want the guys from the more hero’s Idea to be here then you can add them ig. That's the list of survivor a

(Why aren't there more women? Idk, take it up with Disney for killing all of them)

Why these guys? Simple. Cause they all are on Earth

-Loki, being a god, takes a look at Zombie Thanos and thinks "Oh no...Oh Hellas no" And decides to do something about it.

Seriously, You expect me to believe that anything other stone then the space and reality one can send them to another reality? No, I don't think so. And who did I say studied and used these stones before? hmmm? So my proposition for you today is simple. take our god Loki with his obsession with the space stone and have him cast a spell to have every living being on the planet left, come with him to whatever other reality he's taking them to. and thus the crossover commences.

-Peter and the others are now screwed.

They all travel and end up at the same place they were in their original universe. (Omg I just realized Loki could end up at the watchtower lol)

They could be in different realities, but they all are in the same position they were before traveling

Peter: Is on plane before Dimension hopping

Peter: falling to his death after dimension hopping

Peter: Paink!

And then they get split up...hurray!

Idea for a MonsterVerse x MCU x Transformers au

(Did you know that some Godzilla and Transformers comics were written by Marvel? Godzilla was even in the main Marvel comics)

Monarch is founded before Shield and are basically rival organizations that hate each other’s guts. Monarch deals with Titans, while Shield deals with everything else.

Kong: Skull Island takes place and Monarch begins Monitoring Kong.

In the 80’s, the Autobots and Decepticons wake up from their millions of years slumber. The Autobots find a young Sam Witwicky and team up with him, Shield takes notes of Sam and the Transformers and they recruit Sam into a new division of Shield dedicated to Transformers called NEST.

Captain Marvel happens.

The MCU films from Iron Man to Thor, Tony discovers stolen Monarch technology that his dad stole from Monarch, it contains information on Titans.

The events of Godzilla happen earlier during Fury’s big week. Now Fury has Godzilla on his radar.

The Transformers are very interested in Godzilla and the other Titans like Kong. The Autobots want them as allies. While the Decepticons want to control them to take over Earth.

The Avengers happens, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee join with the rest of the Avengers. Godzilla senses the power of the Tesseract and he heads towards New York to investigate. He helps the Avengers take out the Chitauri, and becomes an Avenger. He sticks around after the battle since Optimus and Captain America somehow convinced him to stay.

Years later, Ant-Man jokes that he could shrink down Godzilla.

In Age of Ultron, some Autobots are affected by Ultron and Ultron teams up with Megatron, so the Avengers and the Autobots fight Ultron together.

In Civil War, Transformers aren’t involved and don’t pick a side.

Vulture has combined Chitauri and Transformer tech, but Peter still stops him, he runs into Hot Rod along the way.

Infinity War happens and Godzilla rushes to Wakanda to fight Thanos. Hot Rod goes with Peter to space. Thanos still wins since he held Godzilla with the power stone. Many Transformers are dusted, but Optimus and Bumblebee survive. Hot Rod doesn’t, Godzilla and Kong aren’t dusted.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters happens one year after the snap, Tony tries to help Monarch with Godzilla.

Godzilla vs Kong happens before the Time Heist. Some Transformer parts are used in MechaGodzilla’s creation.

The Time Heist happens and in the final battle all the Autobots, Avengers, Godzilla, and Kong fight Thanos together and Tony snaps his fingers.

Every other movie happens and the Transformers help with displaced blipped people.

Godzilla x Kong happens and Ant-Man helps along with Wheeljack. Ant-Man helps Mothra calm down Godzilla and Scott fist bumps Kong. Scott helps defeat Skar King and shrinks him down after Shimo is freed from Skar King’s grasp. Kong crushes Skar King under his foot.

● What's more gay then being able to turn into a dragon? Being able to turn into a dragon and have your girlfriend ride you into battle.

After her parents were killed by Thanos, Heather Douglas was raised on Titan, the moon of Saturn, in a monastery where she trained in martial arts and psychic powers. During her training, she met and faced the Dragon of the Moon, defeating it but not without it leaving a psychic trace in her mind. She hung out on Earth being kind of an antihero and a bisexual icon, before meeting her girlfriend Phyla-Vell and returning to space.

During the Annihilation event, a confrontation with the Dragon of the Moon turned her into a dragon permanently, like, 'you'll never be human again' permanently, and Phyla decided that this was not grounds for a break up, because she's also iconic. She died, and Phyla became Death to resurrect her (I'd say you can't bury these gays, they'll keep coming back, but unfortunately Phyla's been dead since 2010). She's spent some time being able to transform to dragon form freely but I don't think that's been used since her death? She'll always be a dragon in my heart.

Anyways I love her. She's a huge bitch. She was introduced under the code name Madame MacEvil. She's bald and her eyeliner is constistently on point. I unfortunately still am waiting for her to show up in the MCU (beyond an off screen mention (oh yeah her dead dad is Drax the Destroyer)

Chromie (Chronormu)

● Chronormu is a masculine name, but Chromie shows herself in humanoid form as a female gnome. For a long time, this was debated among fans, to the point even Blizzard took initiative by... having her make jokes about it in Heroes of the Storm. Not a great look. A few years later, queer identities were much more mainstream 'acceptable', and an official short story was made that canonized her being trans

When Tony finally introduced you to the Avengers it was after The Purple Titan had snapped half the world out of existence. You knew your father loved you even if you didn't know him or had ever met him, he supplied money and kept your abusive mother away from you so you didn't ask questions. That's why when he had kept you in, the best schools, and side projects you wanted; which include judo, karate, ballet, any foreign language you wanted, cooking, and even small medical attendance you didn't ask questions. With all of that helped you to fit in with what was left of the Avengers.

You smiled as Steve patted your shoulder “glad to meet you Y/N.” he said before he left the building, Natasha Romanoff left the room with nothing to say to you, frowning you looked to your dad “they don't like me, I mean I get it i'm not special like all of you but they didn't even try.” you told him as he pulled you into a hug “its okay Dove, just know I love you and your always welcomed to come to the cottage with me and Pepper.” he whispered against your shoulder, you squeezed him harder “I think I want to be alone for a bit Tones I um I mean dad.” you told him as you backed away.

That was two years ago now you were standing on the front porch of Tony’s and Peppers cabin debating on knocking or not. Just as you raised your fist a small child barreled through the door and ran into you. “Morgan…” you heard a female voice call before faltering “Y/N we didn't know you were coming.” Pepper said as she came into view, “i'm sorry Pep its just I wanted to see Tony but… I shouldn't have come, I'll just be going.” you responded the two year old holding you tighter at the knees “no’s mama’s make her stay” she screamed causing you to flinch. “Morgan dear let go, just because daddy talks about them doesn't mean you get to hold them hostage.” Pepper told the small child.

She let go of your legs and grabbed your hand as she looked up at you “are you my sister?” she asked, you smiled and knelt down to her level “lets just say i'm your sibling but you can call me Y/N/N, Morgan” she smiled at you and pulled you into a hug. Smiling, you pulled her tighter against you as a single tear fell down your cheek.

The vision that had just graced you from her touch sending you into somewhat of a shock. A vision of Tony dying at the hands of The Gauntlet to keep Thanos from destroying everything again, of Natasha dying at the bottom of a cliff. You had to do something about it. You promised yourself that day as Morgan clanged to your side or when you tucked her in many weeks later as Tony stood in the doorway and she told you she loved you three thousand you knew you would do anything to keep your family safe, even if you died in the end.

That was almost a year ago. “Y/N are you there, talk to me” Tony said snapping in front of your face “sorry yeah i'm here what were you saying?” you asked. He smiled sadly at you “Y/N, Dove are you okay?” he asked. You shook your head yes as you stood from the dining table “call me if you need anything Tones I um… I'm going to disappear for a while. Make sure Morgan knows I love her three thousand.” you responded before practically running out the door.

“Tony we can fix this we just need your help” Natasha said as he stood up pulling Morgan into his arms “Romanoff I finally have everything I finally wanted and doing this could risk it all” he responded before setting his child down “the table is set for five but no shop talk” and he walked off. You smiled from the computer set you were watching where all of this was happening, “I'll fix it dad, just give me the info I need and you don't have to be involved. You will get to keep your perfect family.”

You time traveled back before Thanos could snap his fingers, right in the middle of the battle at Wakanda “FRIDAY I need a glove” you yelled into your earpiece you had stolen so many nights ago “unauthorized; only Mr.Stark can call for Iron Man” the AI responded ‘shit you thought’ just as Captain America and Tony came on the comms “who’s on the comms” “who the hell is trying to get my gear” you smiled at your dads usage of words “language Stark” you responded with a smirk.

Forgetting the mishap with FRIDAY you picked up a spear and began battling the space scum running at you. “Holy shit who is that, they move like Natasha?” you heard Clint ask in the comms, smiling you continued to pulverize the opponents. When you realized the team was running to the forest you frowned “Thor do you hear me?” you asked, running after them “who is this?” he asked “fuck Thor listen it doesnt matter who I am, GO FOR THE HEAD” you screamed at him through the ear piece “who ever this is get off the comm system” you heard you farther call out before the distinc click of being shut out from the earpieces. ‘fuck really dad’ you mumbled picking up your pace as you through the static ridden device from your ear.

You ran into the clearing to see Thor swing for Thanos’s hand “NO” you screamed as you jumped and grabbed the Titans hand and pulled it away shocking all there “THE HEAD THOR” you screamed again as you plied Thanos’s fingers away from each other “NOW ODISON, TONY HELP ME” just then you were thrown against a tree by Thanos as Tony replaced you and Thor swung his hammer cutting off the Titans head his body falling limp.

‘Who are they?” How did they know to cut off his head?” “where did they come from?” “What do we do with the stones now?” you heard multiple people ask as you faded in and out of conciseness. You smiled as you pushed yourself up against the tree “Tony” you called out in a raspy voice, you felt a hand pressed to the back of your head “where did you come from kid?” you heard your dad ask you and you smiled as your eyes blurred over. The image of all the avengers watching as you tried to answer. “Da da dad ‘I..I l..o.. lov… love yo..you thr… three thous…and’ do..n..t ev..ev..er for…get i..t P..l..ea..se.” you stuttered to him as you drifted off letting the darkness consume you just before pressing the button to return to your own time that was no longer exciting.

Tony sat there shocked as he held empty air “you all saw that right what just happened?” he asked in shocked, staring at the spot you just inhabited. His eyes going to each Avenger then back to the empty space between his arms. “Tony, did they call you ‘dad’?” Steve was first to ask; “how did they know to go for the head?” Wanda, and Thor were next to ask, “no no no I want to know how they could fight like me.” Natasha asked, it clicked for Tony then “Y/N? no!” he whispered. He moved to stand before stumbling away muttering no over and over again as he pulled out his phone.

Ring Ring Ring Ring, you pulled the phone from your night stand and answered it “hello how can I help you?” you asked with a grimace in your voice “Dove are you okay?” you heard someone ask. “Dove? no sorry I don't know who that is you must have the wrong number.” you responded before hanging up and slamming the phone down to go back to sleep.

Tony stood in the Wakanda forest shocked as his phone beeped to a dead line “Stark are you okay?” Natasha asked as she approached the man, he spun on his heel “NO ROMANOFF I'M NOT THAT WAS MY CHILD I JUST WATCHED DIE THEN DISAPPEAR AFTER SAVING US SO NO I'M NO “OKAY”.” he screamed before flying off in his suit leaving them all perplexed. “What was that and what the hell just happened?” Thor asked as he kicked the head lying on the ground. The rest of them strugged their shoulders “who is Y/N?” Natasha asked only to receive more shoulder shrugs.

They found Tony sitting on the steps of the compound hours later after they helped clean up what was left of Wakanda. “Stark, are you going to explain to us what happened or sit there?” Steve asked as they all approached. Tony rose to his feet “I went and saw Steven Strange and he just confirmed my beliefs; Y/N saved us all and doesn't know that I'm their father or that they just saved the universe. Pepper and I will be leaving from now and till forever. Romanoff, Rogers you're in charge please take care of Peter and dont ruin anything.” he finished before walking off to a car parked in the distance.

Three years later “Daddy can you help me make a spaceship?” Morgan yelled from the living room “of course sweaty. What do you want on your sandwich?” Tony called back with a smile. “You know she only wants peanut butter just like her aunty Nat Tony” Pepper called back with a laugh. He grumbled as he slathered the bread with the nutty substance.

Walking in he placed the plate in front of the child “eat up kiddo” he told her as he sat down beside his wife “daddy I love you three thousand.” the young morgan told him. Tony froze at that “three thousand huh” he responded with a smile. Pepper kissed his cheek “three thousand Tony that was more than what she told me.” she whispered into his ear. He smiled “I love you too Morgan.” he finally said with a sad smile as he remembered what you had said.

‘How long did you live with them after the snap? How long were you a part of their lives? And why did you decide to give it all up? He asked himself since Strange didn't have the answers to his questions, why did you give all of this up to live alone with nothing but the monthly paycheck you got from the father you never knew existed.

Wait, if DC Comics is your passion, why is Spider-Man your favorite superhero (I mean, I know why but)? Is that allowed under federal law?

If you think about it, Batman and Spiderman are essentially the same character:

They became a super hero and fought crime after the death of a family member to a random street mugger.

They are relatively small time, they only fight crime in their cities it's New York City for Peter, and Gotham City (which is basically New York or Jersey) for Batman. They're not really trying to save the world, they are fighting for one city. If you want someone to fight a world ending threat you call superman.

They're not physical contenders, they rely on stealth, their intelligence, and the gadgets they create in order to win fights. Spiderman swings around on webs yeah, but his web spinners are gadgets he made himself. Spider's only real superpowers are enhanced strength, a spidey sense, and the ability to cling to walls the rest are all gadgets he comes up with. You could say Batman flying around the world to learn martial arts is like the equivalent of Peter's enhanced strength.

The identity takes over their whole life. Batman cannot give up being batman even if the only way for him to settle down and be happy would be to live as Bruce Wayne. Peter's infamous for his terrible work life balance.

They have iconic rogue galleries (peter even has a femme fatalle thief he flirts with who dresses up like a cat). Their rogues galleries are usually more sympathetic and redeemable than other rogues and downright likable. Peter's most iconic enemy Green Goblin for example is his childhood best friend's dad (and sometimes Harry).

They are just one dude and their allies trying to fix the crime for an entire city, and this wears them down a lot. Their strongest trait isn't even their super powers, it's their determination. One of Spiderman's most iconic scenes ever is when a whole warehouse building falls down on top of him and he just... lifts it up not because he's that strong but because he literally has to it's sheer determination and grit.

Then what is the main difference? Bruce Wayne is rich, and Spiderman cannot pay rent. Therefore, Spiderman is inherently the better hero.

As for why I like Spiderman despite not liking Marvel comics much there are two reasons. First, Spiderman doesn't really work when he's interacting with the wider marvel universe, he really is at his best when he's just staying in New York. He's literally called the "Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman" he should not be fighting Thanos. Batman at least, fits into the DC universe. He is friends with Superman and Wonderwoman. His first sidekick Dick Grayson graduated from him and went on to run the Teen Titans. Batman often does a bunch of magical adventures on top of his noir stuff in Gotham. Second, Marvel comics just kind of DOES NOT LIKE Spiderman.

Here's my example of this, the banner image I used for this post. Peter Parker and Mary Jane. This is my favorite superhero ship of all time, Peter Parker growing up together with Mary Jane, going through other relationships and learning from them, and then finally when he's mature enough getting together with Mary Jane to "Face it tiger, you just hit the Jackpot." It's such a beautiful relationship and arc for his character and Marvel just UNDID ALL OF IT to keep Peter single because that's more marketable.

Marvel is just never going to let Peter grow up, so him being a part of the marvel universe is actively to his deficit. I know this is kind of a problem for Batman too, but DC at least occaisonally lets characters grow up. Superman settled down and married Lois Lane and had a son. Dick Grayson was allowed to grow up and become Nightwing. Wally West kid flash, grew up and became Flash for a long time. DC generally does let characters grow up and pass on the mantle. Peter Parker could totally just grow up and let other people be spiderman (that's literally the whole concept, anyone can be spiderman, miles is right there and Into The Spiderverse is the best Spiderman movie) they just won't.

Some backstory as to what happened in IW:

Mira would go with Peter, Drax and Mantis to Titan (they considered that the safest option), and had to hide when Thanos arrived and the rest ambushing him.

Yes, she had to hear that Gamora, her adoptive mom, was dead. She saw the ambush fail, as well as the fight between Tony and Thanos.

After that was over and Thanos left, Mira managed to find the others, but she had no idea what was going on, or what was about to happen…

So, the 6 year old girl had to watch as her adoptive dad, aunt and uncle turned to dust right in front of her…

She expected the same to happen with her, but it didn’t…

Now, she was left with the iron man and the blue lady, two people she didn’t know…

Mira had to go with them off the planet, on a ship that was simply floating in space. There was barely any food and water, and they were running out of air. They had to live like that for a few days…

Mira slept through most of it though, having silently cried herself to sleep. She was sad, devastated and exhausted. She just wanted her family back…

Somehow they got back to Terra with the help of a golden angel, and the 6 year old girl saw that Rocket was still there. She had no idea what happened, but at least she still had her one of her uncles. And apparently the blue lady was her aunt Nebula.

But regardless, all three of them were devastated, holding hands as they mourned their losses…

The next five years weren’t better…

In that time, she went on missions with Rocket and Nebula, and got trained by both of them.

Mira was taught by Rocket how to use different types of guns and other tech gadgets. He didn’t want her to get hurt, so he taught her everything he knew.

Nebula would teach the kid how to survive in unknown locations, how to use knives and how to fight. Nebula saw a deeply traumatized girl who had lost a lot, just like her…

Tho they did let Mira be a kid and play with other kids on whatever planet they were on, but that was already kinda ruined for her by everything that happened…

Like the rest of the guardians, Mira had a lot of trauma, even before the snap. She tried to hide and repress it, focusing on whatever was currently going on in the galaxy, even as a young kid. But Rocket and Nebula could see right through it.

During the time between IW and EG, Mira would become a kleptomaniac (partly thanks to the “If I want that thing more than the owner, I have the right to take it” logic from Rocket).

But over all, they all three missed the rest of the guardians, their family, like crazy. Was it too much to have them back? To have the rest of the world back?!
