I've been so busy you guys. This whole journey of finding a job and a place to stay has been a rollercoaster. 🎢 I finally have a job, however, I am still in the hunt of a place. Here in Los Angeles there are so many good places (but also so many sketchy looking ones 🫠😹) At the moment i am staying with a friend, but i enjoy been searching earth and sky to finally find a place. As soon as I have a place hopefully I'll start working on my art more again.
Anyways, I took that picture weeks ago while job hunting. Finally got a job.
🍔🍟🥤'Biscus Diner Front Of House Isometric Design (2023) 🥤🍟🍔
I was reworking on this portfolio piece for a bit now and I just wanna say that I I am so proud of my improvement from 2022 to 2023 (last pic is 2022 design) 🥰
I wanna learn more about environment design and how I can give the backgrounds of my illustrations more personality and life✨ It sure is a bit draining, but it is fun to always come up with more ideas for small little nicknacks to add to scenes. I was maybe thinking of taking some classes on domestika or skillshare 🤔 If any of you know any good classes online let me know 🤭
In other news, soon I'll share some personal life news I'm very excited about 🤭 But for now, that's all
I met a lot of people. I have learned a lot about where I want to go in life and what I want to do. I have put myself first. I have made great decisions. I have made terrible decisions. I have laughed. I have cried.
I've had this illustration in my gallery for literal months now. I was afraid to post it, not only because I am very proud of it, but because it also felt very personal.
I used a SafeForWork version of this illustration for my business cards for Lightbox Expo (Swipe to see SafeForWork version)

I have some big personal news that I will soon update you guys on, but I will first wait a little bit before saying what it is 🤪

If you have been following me for a while, you'd know I was working on my portfolio throughout 2022. Now in 2023, I decided to recreate my favorite works from my portfolio and update//redo them.
For my portfolio, I created a concept heavily inspired in a restaurant I used to work at, which was a tropical themed brunch restaurant.🏝️🍔🥤 For that concept I designed: characters, locations, uniforms and props. So far, that is my favorite concept from my entire portfolio. Here are some prop designs. Definitely my favorite has to be that lighthouse bubblegum dispenser. I felt like my creative juices were definitely flowing with that one 😹
I will soon post an isometric of the design of the inside of the diner, so keep an eye for that one 👀
Thank you as always for the support ❤️🔥❤️🔥 More things are coming soon 🌈✨
Hello hello 🌈 Sorry, it has been forever since I have posted something, after my trip to LightboxExpo my family booked a cruise and I did not have signal for an entire week 💀 But I'm finally back in Puerto Rico, so have this illustration of a girl on a cruise inspired by the japanese illustrator: Hiroshi Nagai.
I love his illustrations because they literally look the way my dreams look like, specifically the intense saturated blue of the sky.
In other news, I reached 1k followers! So I will be working on a #DrawThisInYourStyle challenge soon, don't know if I'll use this illustration or not, most likely I draw something with less details🤔
Last year I worked the entirety of 2022 on my portfolio. One of my favorite works was this turnaround of a character I designed called Alana.
She is supposed to be this 7 year old girl who is obsessed with stickers. To this day, it is one of my favorite (and strongest) works, however, I think my artstyle has evolved a little bit, so I decided to recreate it 🌈
In other news: I'm currently at Dallas, Texas waiting for my flight to Los Angeles 🌈🏝️🎡🎢🤩 Will spend the week here and finally this weekend I'll attend to Lightbox Expo ❤️🔥 Last year I went for the first time and I loved it too much, so this time I'll go the 3 days ✨
