I am so excited about the tales of the Empire.

I really wish we could see some game characters, like Trilla, in animated verse, as so far we haven't had them in animations or human acted ones.

But this is also foreshadowing of what Barriss will be doing while on training. Just as the trailer was showing.

It sounds quite a lord of flies situation, but also a conscious choice. It sounds like Barriss is choosing her path voluntarily, showing her own hypocrite once again: blaming Jedi being violent, by choosing the violence.

As Obi-Wan said: It takes strenght to resist the dark side, only the weak embrace it.

So sure there is some pain involved. But oh boy don't we love stuff like that?

I don't get people who hate Omega.

I have not liked many of SW child characters, but Omega I do like. Don't know if it is because of being now older myself and just accepting some of her behaviour as just something that children are doing.

Or because she really does not annoy me.

I have genuinely loved her expressions, her ways of seeing the Universe for the first time etc.

Maybe it is because her back story is very easy to be absorbed? It is very solid as all of us, star wars fans, now know the clones and Kamino and the whole entanglement related to the relations there. As well as how they did grow up there.

She has a slot in the universe where she fits in.

I know many people had issues with Ahsoka as she first arrived, because her part was not as clear. We needed a whole Clone Wars ans a part of a complete own show to get her backstory.

But then on the other hand.

Many people had issues with Anakin.

And we all KNOW who he was going to become. And still people were whining. The acting naturally was not that good, but it kind of is not fault of an actor in many cases. And it was not all that bad, but still there were a lot of people who hated young Anakin to the guts.

It makes me wonder if that actully is a sign of the general recentment towards children. It should not be mixed up with not wanting kids.

I want to stress that it is ok to not want kids. It is ok to not want to be around kids. But still.

Hating a young character should be based of them to actually be bad characters.

Writing them as a child and them being childish is just natural. If they annoy you because of their childish qualities, that is actually because you might not like kids. Right?

I love a good work done in lore. This is important! Also super useful for ficcers and other artists. All should read this one.

Basic Guide to Clone Trooper Armour

I don’t know about you guys, but I have a hard time keeping the terms for various parts of clone armour straight in my mind. So, I decided to make this Guide To Armour, to make my life easier for those times I’m drawing or writing stuff and need to reference what this, that or the other piece is called, how it’s put on or taken off. (I’ve also tried to include/come up with some casual or slang terms for some parts because you cannot seriously expect these guys to use the Right Proper Terminology for everything all of the time.)

This is based on the Clone Wars cartoons, because that’s what I know best. Also, this is just the standard armour of regular troopers; if y’all want something about the possible additions/variations that you could have then lmk and I’ll see what I can put together I guess?

Note: a lot of this terminology is taken from medieval knights’ armour. Many terms are originally French; alternative names provided where possible. I did do a bit of research on medieval plate armour, which is the closest thing I can think of to clone armour, but I am by no means an expert so if you have any input or corrections feel free to @ me. Likewise, if you’ve cosplayed as a clone trooper or stormtrooper, I’d very much like to hear about your experience wearing this stuff, how it moves and how it might be similar or different to the “real thing” so to speak.

Charles Vane was a known pirate. Both historically and in his own time.

He was famous of being active for a quite a long time and collecting quite a number of fortune. Only to lose it all and being defeated by tornado, and found by authorities and being hanged, as it was habit in jolly 1720's.

It is not maybe a coinsidence that a space pirate known as Vane appears in Mandalorian season 3.

Lando -  from Soap Prince to lift emperor As we see in last season of clone wars Calrissian family had some fresh name.If nothing else they have the cleanest business at the Galaxy ehhehe. ((At blue base there reads in yellow: Calrissian Fr- and under it reads: So fresh no - )) Well. That would explain why Lando do have much money and why he so carelessly gambles it with Han Solo (well he also cheats there too but xD). He have been born as a heir apparent of a his familys soap and washer empire. And even if he had been caught from cheeting at gambling table he knows that he’ll get out of it (because he have priviledges). And look at him. He knows he’s fabulous and rich. And what Han is? Nobody who quite literally had just walked out from a gutter.

After all Lando later ends up leading the Bespin which is a major producer of Tibanna gas needed in star ships and repulsor lifts. So yeah. Lando became a industrial mogule. He wouldn’t be able to do that just by flying around and playing cards. He is a son of a family of antropeneurs who had probably has a good background in business and understanding of it how the intergalaxtic trade works. A lift emperor if put in modern terms. No surprise the Empire get interested about his ‘little’ business. I would say that getting Lando and his money at side of the Rebellion is a good advantage after losing their main funder: Alderaan and Organa family. Also owning Besbin would bring saves to the  Rebellion aswell. Or at least you would imagine that Lando would sell Tibanna to friends with cheaper price. But who ever knows about Lando …
