I plan on making a lil AU for these two nerds as kids called "young love"or something. idk if anyone has any better names pls tell lol Okay so here's my head canons for this AU: - While the Devil was still an angel he met King Dice and they both hit it off. Dice was always scheming people and ripping them off of their money and Dev loved that about him. As kids they would always scam and play pranks on everyone else in Inkwell - When Dev got kicked out if heaven and sent to hell Dice freed him and stayed with him throughout all of it. Dev often stayed at Dice's apartment/house and since Dice lived alone he enjoyed the company. At this time they were teenagers and Dice lived alone because his parents left him. - The two had always talked about managing a big casino of some sorts so they scam people in larger amounts. They had finally saved up enough money together to make their dreams come true! Dice was the main floor manager since he has WAY more patience than the Devil, and the Devil handled all of the financial business. - At one point throughout their whole partnership, the Devil had realised something. He was immortal and Dice was not. He brought this up with Dice and Dice came up with an idea. Basically, he made an exchange; his soul for immortality. The Devil was wary of this, but after persistent begging from Dice he agreed. That's how he "lost" his soul. - They had feelings for each other for a while. Dice was quite obvious (constantly making flirty gestures/comments and persistently asking to hang out after hours alone) as was the Devil (with constantly getting flustered around the die headed man- which is very difficult since he's you know...The devil) but didn't form a relationship a whole after. Some of the casino crew had actually set them up on a date and they got together afterward. They've been together for over a decade now and are very happy being with each other.
