He turned to his friends who he thought were listening to him, they were eating the food you made without him.

"Yeah. You slay, bro." you said while eating the meat on your plate. Lu Guang already finished his food, he was hanging around on social media.

"Were you guys even listening?!" Xiaoshi shouted while sitting next to you and shaking your shoulders. "You promised you would listen, Y/N!" he whined, you looked at him with a bored face and fed him some food to shut him up.

"Y/N works to buy our needs, leave them alone. They're probably tired." Lu Guang said while glaring at Xiaoshi who was resting his head on your shoulder.

"Come on! Y/N was not around lately! And didn't you say you missed them the other day?" Xiaoshi said while grinning. You looked at Lu Guang who was blushing, you were tired. Really. But you missed them too, they were worth another sleepless night.

"I guess I can catch up with you guys, I finished my work for the week anyway." you smiled at them, Xiaoshi kissed you cheek with excitement and let out a 'muah!' while doing so.

"You know you can go and rest, Y/N. We can wait until tomorrow." Guang said, looking at you with concern in his eyes. "Man, don't treat me like I'm a 80 year old woman." you grinned at Lu Guang, took his hand and brought it to your lips. You kissed his hand as if you were touching a delicate piece of glass. "Thanks for the concern though." you grinned at Lu Guang who was blushing.

"What were you doing before you met us, Y/N?" Xiaoshi asked you, who was still looking at his blushing white haired friend.

"Hm? I would sleep, go to work, workout, eat then repeat. Nothing much like your life." you chuckled after talking. Xiaoshi pouted "No, like..Uh....How was your life with your family and friends? You didn't really introduce anyone to us from your family." Xiaoshi said, Lu Guang was listening too.

Your face fell, you looked at Xiaoshi with a frown on you face. He flinched a little but didn't show any visible fear on his face. Your eyes were looking at the table, being silent was never a 'you' thing, normally you would leave some jokes to lighten up the mood or roast someone while you're bored.

This was strange.

"Sorry. I don't talk about my past." you said, "I know you guys want to know but...I really don't think you guys should know." you talked. Your voice didn't came out like crying or anything, but you voice came...empty. As if there was nothing inside, devoid of any emotion.

It was silent for a moment, both Guang an Xiaoshi looking at you with concern. You didn't want their pity, why did this conversation came up anyway?

"Oh right, I bought ice cream. We should eat it while watching a movie!" you said to lighten up the mood. You stood up to get the icecream, leaving the partners on their own.

"This is the first time I've seen them like this." Guang said, a hum came from Xiaoshi. "Y/N can come off mean to any person but...they showed us nothing but care and kindness so...it was..strange..to see them like this." Xiaoshi said, he couldn't find the right words.

"Maybe we really shouldn't have asked about their past—" Guang started talking but was cut of by Xiaoshi. "We need to find about their past." He said "We just have to." Guang looked at him and thinked for a moment, then nodded his head.

"I'm back you morons, open up a horror movie." You said as you sat in the middle of them. "Do we have to watch a horror movie?" Xiaoshi said.

You looked at Xiaoshi and raised your left arm. He immediately understood this and snuggled close to your body. After Guang finished opening the movie, he sat on your right side and rested his head on your shoulder.

They fell asleep after 1 hour, you were still awake. The movie had ended a while ago and both Xiaoshi and Guang were asleep on you.

"I guess I have to carry you guys huh?" You smiled at their sleeping face, kissing both of them on the forehead.

—You were sick, but didn't tell anyone. Not even you boyfriend.

" I'm home.. " you said as you walked inside of your apartment. You could hear a pair of footsteps coming near, you hanged your jacket and opened you arms to the sides. A smaller figure hugged your body, his arms wrapping around your waist.

" Welcome back.. " his voice was muffled beacuse of the shirt you were wearing. His body felt so cold against yours and you were really happy about that. Your head was spinning, and you felt hot but cold at the same time, making you lose your balance sometimes.

" You're late. " your boyfriend, Xiao, he could get angry at you beacuse of the smallest things but you knew it was beacuse he worried about you so much.

He had already pulled away from your hug and started pouting, he noticed you were leaning on the wall for support but didn't say anything.

" I know, I'm..so...so sorry my love. I know you wanted to have dinner today but...the company is so—difficult..these days." you said while going inside, you stopped your sentences at some point beacuse you felt like there was some kind of ax was cutting your head.

" You could've call me. I was waiting for you for the past 30 minutes. If you couldn't call then you could just texted me, you're really irresponsible sometimes Y/N " Xiao then went to the kitchen to warm up your dinner, you could tell he was upset and you tasked yourself to take him to a fancy dinner next week to make it up.

As you were trying to get out of your work clothes, your head throbbed again. It was getting a little to much, you were sweating and feeling so cold at the same time. Did you overwork today? Feeling sick was not like a 'you thing'.

You leaned on the wall for support, the room was spinning. Oh god, you had a meeting to attend tommorrow. This was bad, what will you do?

You dropped a cup that was on the table near you, luckily it didn't break. You leaned down to take it.

Suddenly your eyes felt so heavy and you legs felt like they couldn't carry you anymore. You heard a cracking sound, Oh god. I think you fell on the glass. You felt a warm liquid on your right arm, then closed your eyes and decided to get some rest.

Xiao was downstairs, preparing the table. As he was pouring down some drinks, he heard a cracking sond the a thud.

'Did he break something again? This is the third time this week.' He thought as he frowned while thinking.

"Y/N did you break my favorite cup?!" he shouted to you, he waited for your respond while walking towards the stairs.

You respond never came.

He waited for your sweet voice again, waiting for you to make an excuse that you didn't do it on purpose.

It never came.

"Y/N?" He called out to you as he slowly started to climb the stairs.

"Love?" he hoped you would respond to this at least.

You didn't.

He hurried to your shared room and opened the door, his eyes searching for your figure. He stepped inside, When he took the second step, something pierced his foot. When he looked down, he saw that the handle of his favorite glass was the thing that had pierced him.

His eyes followed the broken pieces and finally stopped at your lying figure. For some reason he was in shock and couldn't move, why were you on the ground?

There was blood on the floor, your arms were bleeding beacuse of the glass pieces cutting your skin.

" Y/N!! " he fell down on his knees next to you.

"Hey, hey. Wake up! Y/N?" He lightly slapped your face a few times, you didn't wake up. He felt like crying, you were never one to faint or sleep until necessary. Xiao didn't know what to do.

He touched your forehead, 'He's burning' he said to himself as he grabbed you from your waist and leaned your body on himself. You were heavier and...taller than him so he had trouble sitting you on the bed.

Xiao quickly went to get some wet towels to put it on your head and some painkillers if you woke up.

'Oh god oh god oh god oh god—' he put the towel on your forehead his hands were shaking, making the situation even harder.

"I should bandage the scars, yeah, calm down Xiao. He just fainted beacuse he's dumb enough to not tell me he was sick." Xiao talked to himself, cussing at you time to time.

You opened you eyes, feeling arms squeezing you tightly. Something was wet on your forehead, bringing you some peace from the headaches and the fever.

"Ugh..." you grabbed your head and got into a sitting pozition. Xiao was lying next to you, you could tell he was crying. 'Ugh, so I fainted afterall...'

You kissed Xiao a few times, "I guess I need to take you on 2 fancy dinners now huh?" you smiled at his sleeping face.

"....You better.." he muttered while smiling.

"Yeah, Y/N is a chill person." Scaramouche said after Heizou, making Aether and Venti look at him in a questioning face.

"Did you talk to them before?" Xiao asked, a little too excited. All of the group turned their heads at Scara who was texting someone while eating a chocolate.

"Yeah, I talked with them when they seperated a fight between Childe and that Diluc guy from class 2-B" Scara said before looking at Xiao.

Venti let out a sigh "Yeah, Diluc was complaining to Y/N for it" Aether rolled his eyes "smh, I feel bad for Y/N"

Kazuha thinked for a while then turned to Xiao. "Why don't you go and ask them if you could walk them home?" Xiao's eyes widened as he looked at Kazuha while going red.

"Take it easy Kazuha, take it easy.." Heizou said while trying not to laugh at his now tomato-faced friend.

As Xiao was about to respond, your voice made him drop the fork down to the ground. The group looked at you, who bend down and picked up the fork Xiao dropped before putting it on the table.

"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. I was just going to ask if you wanted to help me with the art class since we have the same teacher." You smiled at Xiao while talking to him, making him blush.

Venti looked at you and smirked "But Jean is also in your art class Y/N-senpai. Why didn't you ask her?" he asked. Making Heizou raise his brow at you while smirking as well.

You chuckled while leaning on Xiao's chair with your hand. "I don't have a specific reason but I would say Xiao is a pretty one. Not everyday you find a gorgerous person, right?"

Xiao looked at you with widened eyes, while you looked down and winked at him. Venti and Aether let out an 'ooh~~' while looking at you guys.

Someone called you from the end of the cafeteria, you turned to Xiao and say "Wait for me in the gate afterschool, I'll walk you home today." you said and disappeared in the crowd.

Xiao was in awe, Scara laughed at his red face while Heizou joining him. Venti and Kazuha patted Xiao on the back as a 'you go man'

Xiao was waiting like you asked him to, looking around and trying to find you in the crowd. His amber eyes landed on you as you walked along with Kaeya and Itto, Kaeya spotted Xiao and elbowed you. Making you and Itto spot Xiao too, Itto pushed you with a proud face while you laughed.

You walked towards Xiao and stooped in front of him he looked up at you (you're one year older so stfu🙄)

"I-Is there a place y-you want to go or–" Xiao tried to ask but he stopped when he felt your hand on his, he was taken aback when you kissed the back of his hand. "I wanted to buy you ice cream, if you want it too." You started walk after talking, pulling Xiao with you.

"S-sure.." he was a blushing mess. He wasn't going to wash his hand after going home, your touch makes him lose his mind slowly.

"I'll have vanilla and peach.." Xiao said. The man looked at you both and smiled "You guys look like a cute couple, want me to make a discount?" the man told you.

Xiao blushed at the fact the man thought you guys were lovers, you laughed slightly before talking. "There is no need for discount, but we'll be happy if you give my boyfriend from those heart shaped white chocolates." You said while pointing at the chocolates.

Xiao' s legs felt like they could give up at any moment. His hand still holding yours, the other one holding his ice cream.

"Can i take a bite??" You asked, Xiao looked at you and blushed. He stopped walking and holded his icecream towards you, you smiled and ACTUALLY took a bite of his ice cream.

He looked at you with a questioning look "Did you actually bite it?" xiao asked and looked at the spot where you bit.

"It's sweet, like you~" you said while laughing at his blushing face. "Shut up.. You already embarrassed me enough today..." he whined and laid his head on your chest, relaxing into you.

You played with his hair, you were in the middle of the park bit who cares. Your little Xiao decided to rest a little, you can stay with him clinging onto you for a while.

-It's been a week since it started, they were so exhausted. While they were looking for a safe place to stay, many zombies had trapped them, that's when you, the hero, came to help.

-zombie apocalypse AU!!

-Diluc-

Where was he now? He didn't know either. All he knew was to keep going until he found a safe place to hide, trying to be as quiet as possible because even the smallest sound could draw the attention of the monsters around him.

He was passing through a street with markets, covering his mouth with his hand. At least it made his breathing sound a little quieter.

His foot came to a bump, feeling it, he pulled his foot away as quickly as he could and looked down. The corpse of a man lay on the ground, his eyes open but no pupils in sight.

Thinking that the man might be a zombie, Diluc took a step back, his back hitting something. When he looked behind him, he saw an iron and wheeled shelf. As Diluc hit the shelf, the shelf started to move away from him and collided with another iron pole.

A 'CLANG' sound was heard. Diluc felt nauseous, those hideous creatures were already starting to gather around him. As he started to run, he felt a hand grab his ankle, and he fell to the ground. When he turned his face, he saw that the man who had been lying on the ground earlier had turned into a zombie.

His foot was bent as he fell, and even if he got up, he couldn't escape. That was the end of him, a bunch of zombies would eat him.

As he closed his eyes, waiting for death to come, he felt the hand on his ankle loosen up. He opened his eyes again, only to meet with an ax and someone he doesn't know.

When he looked up, he caught your sight, some blood on your face, but it probably wasn't yours. You were smiling at him, then you turned around and decapitated a zombie approaching the two of you.

You turned back to Diluc and gave him the ax in your hand, then you quickly took him on your back and ran away from where the zombies were.

Diluc was surprised at the streng you have, you were able to run fast while you were carrying him on your back.

"I was training weightlifting before those goddamn zombies showed up. Heh, not to brag, but I can lift 87 kilos on my back."

You said while turning around a corner, a building came to view. "I can say you didn't eat much in these days. You really are light for a man" you commented again, chuckling a little.

Diluc tightened his arms around you, happy that he was saved, thanking the whatever god was listening to him. He smiled and closed his eyes. Mumbling to your back :

"Don't wake me up until the next day.."

-Kaeya-

His leg ached so badly that he would soon pass out from seeing his own blood. He jumped over a wire while running from the zombies, but the point of the iron wire had penetrated his leg, inflicting a wound that would likely have left a scar.

He couldn't walk like this, he couldn't move his leg an inch. But the goddamn zombies would find him sooner or later, their proximity was evident from the different sounds coming out of their mouths.

There was nothing to protect himself next to Kaeya, he was defenseless and the walking corpses were many times stronger than him.

A 'BOOM' sound was heard. It was like the sound of a gunshot. But Kaeya felt that his ear was still under the influence of the sound. Kaeya looked behind him from his hiding place, the zombies coming towards him started to head towards the direction of the sound.

"That scar looks bad, man." a voice called. Kaeya turned his head to the side immediately, you were standing in front of him. You sat in front of him, took a cloth from your pocket and wet it with the water from your bottle. Then you gently placed it on Kaeya's leg. You also tied a string, not too tight.

Kaeya winced a little but didn't say anything. He looked at your face, then noticed you had cuts and some bruises too.

"If you like my face that much I can give you a picture, handsome." you said while smirking.

Kaeya looked shocked for a moment, then smiled. "I would love that, to be honest" he said. You returned the smile and wrapped his arms around your shoulders, you picked him up and started walking.

"Wow, you really are strong. I like it"

Kaeya said on your back, making you laugh. You let out a 'heh' and said "You think so? Beacuse I feel like you are the one who is light."

"Doesn't matter, you are my hero anyways."

-Childe-

He was exhausted.

Childe was fighting endless zombies. He had a knife in both of his hands, in fact he had gone out to look for food for his family, but had encountered more zombies than he had expected.

He hadn't eaten properly for almost 3 days. His head was spinning so badly and he didn't think he could cut off any more heads, he told his siblings and mother that he would come home with loads of food.

He leaned against a wall and slid down to the ground, zombies coming towards his base. For some reason he wanted to cry. But there was no point in crying now, he was going to die soon, and he knew it too. Just as a zombie was about to pounce on Childe and bite him, an ax split the zombie's head in half.

He looked up, his eyes wide. You were looking at him with a smile, Childe felt something in his stomach..happiness? He wasn't sure.

You killed the zombies near with the blink of an eye, easy targets for you. "You did a good job killing those things." you said, patting Childe's head.

"Do you have anywhere to go?" you asked, the ax resting on your shoulder. He nodded his head, you hummed and crouched down in front of him.

"You seem very tired. Want me to carry you, cutie?" you asked placing your hand on his shoulder. He looked at you for a moment then nodded, he didn't want to be a burden but he couldn't walk either.

You smiled and gave him the ax, lifting him up and placing him on your back. "So, where is your house?" you asked. Chide told you some directions and you started to walk, you felt him drop his head on your shoulder and sleep.

You smiled to yourself, walking to his house with a him on your back.

Xiao didn’t know why you always put your life in danger for others.

You were strong, so strong. Maybe stronger than him? He would never admit to anyone but he knows you are stronger than him.

That’s why everyone believed that you would take the Geo Archon’s place after his ‘death’. He still remembers your face, Xiao saw the worry and fear on your face when everyone gathered around you and told you to take over.

That was the first and last time he had seen you scared of something.

Xiao didn’t know anything about you, actually nobody knew anything about you. You just walk around Liyue and help people with a smile on your face, nobody would suspect anything from you.

But Xiao wasn’t dumb.

He knew you were suffering inside, he would help you if you wanted. Beacuse you were someone he could rely on, but you didn’t feel the same for him.

“You’re late.”

“I know, sorry about it. Some hilichurls were on the way.” you replied. You came to Xiao's side and rested your arms on the balcony railing.

“You should take a rest once in a while.” you could feel Xiao’s worried gaze on you.

“Don’t worry to much Xiao, I really don’t need rest. Not when everyone needs me-”

“You didn't have to take all the responsibility! You are not an archon, Y/N! How long do you think you can go on with this?” Xiao raised his voice, he had enough of your bullshit.

“...” you stayed quiet. This made xiao even more angry, why the heel would you do this to yourself when you didn’t have to?

“Because I feel guilty, Xiao.“ you said, but there was no emotion.

Guily? Guilt for what? Xiao was confused, why would you feel guilty? Had you do something in the past that made you feel guilty?

“I've been used as a weapon in the past. Or a slave, you can say both.” you said as you looked up at the sky.

Xiao’s eyes went wide, slave? You?

“I can’t remember my family, or where I am from. The only thing I remember is chains, the chains that they used to control me like a puppet.”

“..They? Who are ‘they’..?” Xiao asked. But you didn’t reply, you didn’t even look at him.

“I killed a lot of people, Xiao. I am a monster.” You said while turning to look at his eyes. The (e/c) eyes that he finds so pretty. He noticed you and him were similar.

He took a step towards you, then another step. He slowly wrapped his arms around your body and placed his head on your shoulder.

You hugged back, a little tighter. You really needed this, you do not cry though. Crying isn’t something you do.

“..Remember that I’m here. Just call my name and I will be there right away.” Xiao said.

It's been a week.

It's been a damn week.

Xiao looked at the wall, it was 1 a.m yet you weren't home. The bed was cold, There was a huge blanket around Xiao, but only one blanket could not replace you.

Xiao missed you.

He missed you so much.

But you couldn't go home because of the damn schedule you have.

He turned around and took your pillow, hugging and squeezing it. He wasn't going to sleep until you come.

But he was so tired and barely could keep his eyes open.

His eyes filled with tears, and he didn't know why either. Was it beacuse he missed you so much? Or was it beacuse He was mad at you beacuse you didn't come and see him at school.

He was so tired to think all of these, so he just closed his eyes. The tear escaping his eye as he closed it.

He knew when he wakes up, you wouldn't be there...but he hoped you will.

—Xiao!

He opened his eyes, waking up from his slumber because the calling of his name.

He looked at the person beside him, recognizeing her by her beautiful (e/c) eyes.

He was wide awake now.

Xiao sitted up on the bed, looking at you with shock. Then looked at the clock to see it's 3 a.m; then he looked at you again.

The tears filled up in his eyes again, happy to see you in front of him. He wrapped his strong arms around your body, hugging you like you will disappear.

You were shocked to be honest. But hugged him back anyways, rubbing his back with one hand.

—Did you miss me that much, baby?

—Tch, shut up.

You chuckle at his response, knowing he will never admit the fact he missed you.

Sure, you missed him too. Bht you can't find the time to see him, it's like the damn teachers doesn't have a student other than you. They leave all the works with you saying; 'YoU aRe a GoOd sTuDeNt, y/N' yeah i know that already.

You throw yourself on the bed, along with Xiao.

He didn't seem to mind it tho, he was busy hugging you like there is no tomorrow.

Your one hand was stroking his hair while the other one rubbing his back.

Xiao was relaxed- so relaxed under your touch.

Both of you and him were so tired, but didn't want to sleep because you guys didn't see eachother for one damn week. So you need to stay awake and spend time together.

—...Will you go again tomorrow..?

He asked, looking at you with pleading eyes. He didn't have any classes tomorrow, so he was home. But you had a busy schedule tomorrow so– he will be alone at home.

—Baby, you know my schedule. I want to spend time with you to but-

—Just one time, stay with me...! Please..?

Oh– nononono— Shit. He is looking at you with that damn eyes again. Those eyes he knew you can't resist.

Oh well, you fucked up- You really fucked up. How dare you say no to that eyes?

You thinked for a time, than sighed.

Xiao smiled at you, He brought his lips closer to yours and kissed you slowly but passionately.

Kissing back, you grabbed his hand and intertwined your fingers with his.

He was so happy that he was in your arms, kissing you. It feels warm inside and outside, you will be staying with him tomorrow so he can hug you all day.

He breaks the kiss, you licked your lips and pulled him to your chest. Ahem, for extra: You have abs and Xiao likes them.

He was smiling like an idiot who is in love, hugging you tightly. İnhaling your scent.

He closed his eyes and fell asleep in 1 second, you were looking at his peachful face with adoration on your eyes.

You couldn't stay awake any longer so, you closed your eyes and fall asleep with your love of your life beside you.

Xiao has always admired you.

He admired how strong you are.

You, Y/N L/N. Has live for 3000 years, killed many people, do many contracts.

Yet here you are, smiling at everyone and protecting Liyue.

You were there when he most needs it. You were there when he first became an Adepti. You were there when he lost everyone who is special to him.

You never pushed him away or abonded him. When he was suffering beacuse of his Karmic Debt, you were there for him to calm him.

You were there instantly, when he calls your name. You were there when he feels regret for what he did in the past.

You were there to listen to him.

Yet he knows nothing about you.

You and him were the last ones alive (being Adepti I mean) and for extra; You were Rex Lapis's bodyguard. You were the one that killed 48 demons to protect Liyue.
