I would want to outlive you because that is the biggest sacrifice i can make for you. To live a half life without you. To wake up every single day without you by my side, knowing that you are gone where i cannot follow.

I would let you go so you dont have to be the one left. I would shoulder the pain so you dont have to.

I would look for the stars every moonless night to feel like you are out there watching for me too.(but you won't be- you couldn't, could you? You are just ashes and dust. Long gone. Swallowed by the earth. Forgotten. (I remember) discarded ( i care)
