⊹
for you i’d sail across the sky,
bounding o’er the starry divide.
for you i’d sail across the sea,
gliding through tranquility.
for you i’d run across the land,
solely just to hold your hand.
for you i’d walk a solid mile,
so long as that would make you smile.
for you i’d step across the room,
just to smell your sweet perfume.
for you i’d give my every thought,
“does she love me, or love me not?”
for you i’d dream so peacefully,
that way your love would never leave.
for you i’d lay here still as stone,
patiently waiting when you’re gone
for you i’d cry a thousand tears,
reminiscing on our golden years
for you i’d write a million songs,
and sing them softly when you’re gone.
for you i’d rest so peacefully,
because you laid me down to sleep
for you i’d never love again…
because i’ll meet you in heaven.

cascading down my body are scars that left my heart
no longer deep inside me, on my skin the fire starts
losing peace of mind i never felt it anyway
hoping wishing praying that for me at least you'd stay

You can stop the pain without freezing your veins. Your heart doesn’t have to stop beating for your mind to stop screaming. It won’t be this much terror forever. The resolution isn’t death either. I promise. I love you, please don’t go.
