Hiiii! I can answer both!

So for Qi Rong I like to head canon that people (new servants or people who have seen Xie Lian in passing) get them mixed up at first cause they look so alike. At first Qi Rong is either like 'Yes I AM the crown prince, BOW DOWN' or 'How DARE you forget what cousin crown prince looks like' people quickly learn who's who though.

For svsss, Shen qingqiu and Shang qinghua try to cook food from their world for their husbands to taste. They both can't cook and the last time they tried together they burned down a kitchen(they were arguing again and burnt what was supposed to be garlic bread) so they are now banned from the kitchen unless one or both husbands are there. They're besties but Shen qingqiu is in denial( just like when he thought he was straight)

what is your saddest tgcf headcanon?

It's about Hua Cheng since we don't know a lot about his past I kinda used context clues and my imagination. Since it's alluded to that his mom died when he was young. He doesn't have that many memories of her but one thing he can remember is her singing/humming a lullaby. It's the only thing other than Xie Lian that brings him comfort.

So he hums it while keeping Xie Lian's temple clean at a young age. He hums it after the kids in the streets of Xianle throw rocks or hit him with sticks. He hums it on the battlefield and off when he has to sleep. Hums it when he dies and is stuck in the lantern as a ghost fire. After Xie Lian gets stabbed a thousand times. When he's stuck in TongLu helping those innocent people. When he finds Xie Lian again after 800 years.

Sings it to Xie Lian after they marry(He cries cause now the two nicest people to him, know about each other) and eventually sings it to their kids so his mother's song can live on.

Idk why but I like princely/spoiled Xie Lian. I think it's because it shows how safe and loved he feels. That even at his brattiest Hua Cheng still loves and adores him. He doesn't make a habit of it even though he knows he could. It's him learning how to be a little selfish again to not put himself last. Hua Cheng loves it, takes pride that his god feels that safe with him. He like Xie Lian is also learning how to be selfish. Though it would take years for their old habitat to fade they are with each other every step of the way and that's one of the reasons why I love hualian so much.
