Aurora Borealis in Shropshire!
Well last night was absolutely wild! Laying in bed I get a red alert for the aurora being possibly visible across the UK. So I jumped out of bed, grabbed my camera and tripod and ran out of my village into the nearest field. As soon as I took that first photo I could see the huge red glow of the Aurora Borealis! I was shaking with excitement as I frantically ran around the field trying to get as many shots as I could before it disappeared.
As my eyes adjusted to the dark I could begin to see it with my naked eye! I watched the faint reds, pinks and green dance in the sky for around 20 mins before it began to fade. Needless to say it was one of the best nights of my life
