You’ve been dating Kirishima for about 3 months now and you have yet to let him know about what your ex did to you when you were together. So, one day when you and Kirishima were chilling in his dorm, and you knocked a glass over breaking it and you panicked. You didn’t panic because of him but because of all the flashbacks flooding into your mind of how your ex reacted when you broke something. “Shit- Sorry E! I won’t do it again, I swear!” You practically yelled out while scrambling to clean the glass shards. Kirishima was confused none the less. Why would you be so freaked out over some glass? “...Baby? You and Bakugo have been together for half a year now and you have never been happier. Even if he is a bit aggressive at times you know he would never hurt you. But that doesn’t mean you don’t get flashbacks from when you were with your ex. Bakugo knows a bit about him but not much. Only that he was a jerk and cheated on you. So, when Bakugo got back to the dorms after his internship with Endeavor, he was super grumpy. You were just trying to help and ask him if he needed anything but with Bakugo being in a bad mood, he accidently snapped at you for being annoying. As he yelled at you to stop being so clingy, he brought his hand up to comb back his hair that was sticking to his face due to sweat. You weren’t expecting it. The second he started bringing his hand up all you could think of was when you were with your ex and how he used to react if you annoyed or pissed him off. So, you immediately freaked and screamed out “I’m sorry! Please don’t hurt me!” Upon hearing that Bakugo froze. “Babe...why would you think I’d ever hit you...?” He knew he could be harsh, but did you seriously think he’d actually hurt you...? “N- no of course not! It’s just...well I just kind of naturally assumed that...” you started rambling off trying to let him know you weren’t scared of him but in doing so you indirectly told him what your ex put you through. “...did someone hit you?” He asked with a very intense and serious tone. You broke down crying telling him about what your ex used to do. “Hey baby...look at me” he said with the gentlest tone you’ve ever heard from him. “This is not your fault, ok? Now what’s his name?” He reassured you but when he got to the question about your ex’s name his tone slightly changed. You answered him knowing he wouldn’t do anything drastic enough to hurt his future career as a hero. After all was said and done, he got you guys ice cream and had a movie night with you in his dorm. You guys ended up falling asleep halfway through the third movie with you curled into his side. 

I. Midoriya

You haven’t told Izuku a single thing about your ex except that it ended on bad terms. So, when he saw you flinching at sudden hand movements or the tiniest spike in someone’s tone, he immediately got worried about you. But one night when you were spending the night in his dorm, he woke up to you tossing and turning. Once he was fully awake, he realized you were mumbling something in your sleep. He shifted closer carefully as to not wake you and that’s when he heard what you were mumbling. What he heard seriously concerned him. You were just continuously mumbling “I’m sorry...I’m sorry” over and over again. After a few seconds of you mumbling you started crying in your sleep, so Izuku brought his hand to your shoulder gently shaking you as to not startle you. Once you were awake you felt the dampness on your cheeks trying to figure out what was going on. That’s when you looked up noticing Izuku and how worried he looked, “Zuku...what’s wrong...?” You said with a slight tremble in your voice. “You looked like you were having a nightmare so I wanted to wake you before it got too bad...but can I ask why you were mumbling I’m sorry over and over...?” The minute he asked that you froze in place. You didn’t know if you were ready to tell him. You started freaking out causing you to hyperventilate. “Hey, hey, hey...it’s ok just take a few deep breaths with me ok honey?” Ready? Breathe in... breathe out. Just like that, ok? Keep doing that and then we can talk whenever you’re ready.” You continued to take deep breaths and slowly you started to calm down. “O-ok I think I’m ready to talk but you have to promise not to get mad.” You said with a shaky voice. “I would never get mad at you honey don’t worry.” So, after he said that you started to explain to him what exactly happened with your ex. You explained the short temper, the yelling, and how he would hit you. Once you were done you were crying all over again from re-living those memories. Izuku was furious that someone would ever lay hands on you, but he took a deep breath and started reassuring you that this isn’t your fault and that he was glad that you weren’t with that bastard anymore. After that was all said and done, he laid back with you laying on his chest as he played with your hair and rubbed random shaped in your lower back so even though he knew this would take a while to heal from he was just glad you were safe now and in his arms. 

S. Todoroki 

Todoroki was so happy to have you in his life. it took a while, for him to warm up to you but once he did you two were inseparable and soon after that you guys started dating. So naturally after a bit of knowing each other he told you all about his childhood. He loved how caring and understanding you were about what happened. What he didn’t know however was that he wasn’t the only one who went through hell and back. 

It’s been a bit since you guys had gone out for a date being preoccupied with school and internships. So once internships were over you guys decided that you could go somewhere on the weekend. You ended up going to the park for a bit then went to grab dinner before heading back to the dorms. However, the walk back was filled with an extremely uncomfortable silence. This was because when you guys were at lunch everything in the world seemed to go wrong. First when the waitress brought out the drinks you accidently knocked Shoto’s drink over right into his lap staining his jeans. Then after when the food arrived, they messed up his order and when you tried to politely send it back for what he ordered the waitress just started freaking out on you embarrassing you and Todoroki in the middle of the restaurant. So, to say he looked furious, and you felt like the worst person on Earth was the biggest understatement of the year. You were dreading what would happen when you got back to the dorms and into his room. When you got back to his dorm room you started mentally and physically preparing yourself even though that never worked before. “Y/N...why did you have to cause a scene at the restaurant?” You obviously tried defending yourself saying that you didn’t mean to, and that the waitress was the one who caused the scene. But the more you tried defending your actions the more intense the argument got. In the midst of things, he brought his hand up to rub his face since he was getting exhausted with the yelling, but your body reacted on instinct. You curled in on yourself covering your head sobbing out “Please don’t hurt me! I didn’t mean too!” He froze when he heard that. “Love...I would never even dream of hurting you...why would you ever think that..?” His heart dropped hearing you cry out apology after apology trying to tell him it wasn’t his fault. He tried his best calming you down. Once your breathing was even with a little hiccup every so often, he asked who made you react like that obviously knowing why you responded that way. Once you told him how you were raised by just your dad and how he drank a lot and if you pissed him off with even the tiniest thing, he’d hit you. He knew that feeling all to well so he did what you did for him and reassured you that this wouldn’t make him look at you any differently. So, for the rest of the evening, you stayed in his room watching all sorts of movies with any of your desired snacks. For now, at least he wanted you to forget about the past and just be happy. You guys could cross any other bridge later for now though he just wanted to lay in bed with you and forget.

S. Aizawa

Aizawa was very aware of how taunting, and insults affected a person since he was told almost his entire childhood how his quirk would never get him anywhere in life or how useless it was. So, he could tell you’ve been through something similar he just didn’t know the extent of it, so he never brought it up. That was until you unknowingly put yourself at risk. You had gone out for a quick grocery run to get stuff needed for dinner without knowing that some killer had been killing people behind that very grocery store for the past week. So, when he saw the news about the killer at the grocery store and came home to you nowhere in sight he freaked out. So, the minute you got home with grocery bags in your hand he immediately came up to you. “Where the hell were you?! Are you trying to get yourself killed?!” He shouted at you when you put the bags down. “What are talking about Shota...?” You questioned confused about his sudden outburst. “God are you stupid?! There’s a literal killer running around, and you could have walked right into him just because you don’t pay attention.” Your body stiffened upon hearing him call you stupid. “Look Shota I know I’m stupid, but you didn’t have to yell...I just wanted to get stuff for dinner...” You said voice barely above a whisper. That’s when it hit him. He figured you’ve been the victim of verbal abuse by how people pleasing you could be, but he never expected you to agree with whoever said that to you. “Baby...I didn’t mean that, you aren’t stupid. I was just worried about you when I heard about the killer running around and saw you weren’t home...I didn’t mean to call you stupid. I’m so sorry baby.” He said walking to you pulling you to his chest. That’s when you broke down sobbing into him. He knew you probably wouldn’t want to talk about it right now but the least he could do at this moment is make dinner for you and spend the rest of the night holding you while he would whisper praises into your ear about how smart you were and how much he loved you. 

T. Shigaraki

You and Tomura have been together for about 5 months now and you were the happiest you’ve ever been. But tonight, he brought up how he wanted to take the next step. You agreed with him saying you wanted to take the next step also. But you didn’t realize how you would start having flashbacks the minute things started. Right when he was getting ready to pull your lounge shorts down you froze up. He could feel how tense you had gotten so he looked up at you. Once you were calm enough, he started speaking. “So, if it’s not my quirk then why’d you freak out.” You knew eventually you’d have to tell him about what happened to you as a kid you just didn’t expect it to start like this. “W-well you see the thing is...when I was around 7 my uncle started to um..show me ‘special attention’ I guess, and he didn’t stop till my dad caught him showing me this ‘special attention’ ” You said to him with a trembly voice. You didn’t directly say what happened, but he knew exactly what you meant. Normally he wasn’t one for comforting people, but you were different, so he did everything in his power to help you feel better. He didn’t continue what was originally going down but instead got blankets from your room since you had a whole stash of fluffy blankets, had Kurogiri teleport him so he could grab a whole thing of snacks for you two, and put on your favorite show and he didn’t even think of leaving your side. However, the minute he saw you sleeping curled into his side he texted Kurogiri to tell Dabi to find and kill the man who did this to you.

Dabi/T. Todoroki

You and Dabi have been together for a super long time now. Like we’re talking almost 2 years. So, to say you two were very active with one another is an extreme understatement.
