Well I left the dump fandom and long while ago so i wanted to post an old wip fic. It was such a passion project but I never finished it because of technos death so I'll leave it here (and it's concept notes).

!! Wilburs mentioned a few times so don't be alarmed this was from like 2022, I promise I don't support that twat !!

The roaring sound of the crowd was something Techno never got used to.

They were always too loud.

That combined with the curse of his crown the voices of 100,000 people constantly yelling around him, always led to migraines that would last for days.

Yet he continues to fight in the arenas when he's invited.

He has too, it's the only thing that calms the voices.

It keeps him away from his family, he hates that. He wants so bad to stay in the castle and listen to Wilbur play his latest song, or watch Dad write in his study. Let Mom tell him stories like when he was little. He prays for the day he has perfect silence, because that's the day he can look at his little brother and not feel shame. The voices hurt Tommy and now Tommy hates him. Tommy's only 10 he doesn't need to know about the voices, it's already confusing enough for him to wonder why his brother held a sword to his throat after he asked to play.

Techno hates himself for it, he wants things to be different. He wants to be a good brother, because he loves Tommy. He really does.

"BLOOD GOD TECHNOBLADE! TODAY IS THE DAY YOU FALL FROM YOUR PEDESTAL!" The crowd screams, they seem to really favor the new guy lately. He hopes they aren't getting tired of him, that would be bad for his name. "Sure, like I'm gonna lose to a homeless man." He's sure if the guy wasn't wearing a mask he would've seen his eye twitch. "I'm NOT homeless." Techno just laughs. "Wow! So you think homeless are bad? Cancel this man, get him out of here." The new guy started studdering trying to defend himself Techno assumes to stay in public favor.

"What, no! I didn't say that, you're putting words in my mouth." Techno would've responded but his thoughts were cut short by the announcer.

"All right! Our match today is the All Mighty Blood God verses, our newest fight who's been quickly rising up the ranks.. Dream Wastaken!"

Techno blinks almost dumbfounded, "Wastaken? What kind of title is that? It sounds dumb."

Techno must have struck a nerve with that remark, Dream suddenly went still and took his position.

"I'll have your head Blood God," he could see a green glow from under his mask.

"HA, like hell you will"

The announcer signals the start and Techno lets himself go and all he sees is red.

Dream raises his sword and stabs towards Technos abdomen. Techno takes his axe and swings to hit the blade away. He ends up hitting the handle of the sword cutting deep into Dreams hands

Dream staggers back dropping his sword and clutching his hands. He inhales sharply the audience collectively gasps.

Yeah not much writen ik but here's the plans I had written in my drafts, it's so nostalgic to reread.

it starts out as Sbi + Mumza but techno and tommy get separated from Phil, Kristen, and Wilbur

(Wilbur is 17, Techno is 15 so hes less than wilbur because fuck you, and Tommy is 11)

So it's parentsduo + Wilbur and then also Bedrock bros, eventually they fins their way back to eachother. Techno and Tommy used to have this kinda tense relationship, they both cared alot about each other but Tommy always got along with Wilbur more. (Techno wasnt jealous of that, not at all.) but they just thought the other disliked them, and it's bothered them for years and now it's time for Techno to be cool and strong big brother for tommy. Being there for when he has nightmares to tell him stories, or reminding him that they WILL find the rest if their family. Running from zombies with the only weapons you have being swords and bows is a little bit difficult. but he does have one thing, his axe that was gifted to him by a neighboring kingdoms prince. To replace the one that was ruined in a duel he participated in on their behalf. Which they may or may not run into that prince and his betrothed (also his son?!?!?!?)along the way... Wilbur misses his brothers every single day, no matter how much his parents try to comfort him that they will be okay and that Techno is capable. He just can't shake the feeling that at every waking moment that he's not looking for them. They're getting hurt. He wishes it was him and Techno that got separated, cause then atleast Tommy would be with phil and Kristen. He wouldn't need to worry about his brother. He knows Techno will protect Tommy with his life.. but that's what he's worried about. If Techno dies protecting Tommy then what happens after? Tommy is left wandering untill inevitably hes... So he hopes Techno doesn't have to do soemthing that wreckless Because if he does, he'll lose BOTH of his brothers. and personally he'd rather not have that become a reality."

(but it's Makima and Senki Chainsaw man vibe)

Notes : just want to say if i disappear and don't post anything in a long time, just pretend i die and disappear (like i lost my tumblr account).

Conteks :

Bro, I was just thinking au where is Dream and Techno rencarnation AU. Like Techno's slogan that 'Technoblade never dies'; Techno is an immortal being while Dream is just an ordinary mortal.

Techno always saw Dream die continuously in his reincarnation. Techno saw Dream reincarnated into a village girl, a witch, a criminal, a humanoid creature, etc. even though Techno is not a furry, but if Dream is one of them, Techno has no problem marrying back and becoming a furry with Dream. ( lmao, Dream being a dog and Techno still wanna marrying the dog/ they even date at first )

He always finds every way so that he can be with Dream again and again once Dream is reincarnated again. Techno always faces Dream's personality, which is different but strangely, always with a different physical condition and the same name repeating itself (but different last name). It seems that God wants to play with Techno's feelings and life through this fate.

Techno always sees his dearest lover die over and over again for different reasons. Techno is always looking for ways to prevent Dream from dying. However, the attempt always failed.

Techno always believes that Dream will only love him, but it's different from before. This one dream has a lover with a baby demon that he actually raised from childhood out of pity; Sapnap. Techno has a hard time winning Dream's heart, but in vain. This one dream is really married and has children with Sapnap. Take the L ,Techno. Techno feels hurt and torn by reality. The person he loves is now with someone else. Techno can only surrender to Dream's decision; as long as Dream is happy he is happy too. F

In the next life, Techno let Dream have a partner other than himself. Techno feels selfish because he always has Dream only for him and doesn't let him choose anything else. So, Techno, who realized he couldn't stand to see Dream with the others, chose to sleep very long and hoped he would never wake up again.

In Dream's next reincarnation, Techno still sleeps. In the next reincarnation as well, that same one and so on. Techno is fast asleep in an endless dream, a dream where he is on his lover's lap while his lover caresses his head gently and lovingly while humming a beautiful song from his lover's angelic voice. However, the dream finally ended with Techno waking up from his long slumber.

But, strangely he felt very small and knew his body turned into the body of a child. ( hell yeah!!! 💅 )

Techno is back on a journey to find out what has changed in Dream's current reincarnation. He only saw Dream with an adult body with strong white horns, long hair that was braided up and next to his ears there was a pendant that acted as a ribbon to support his braids from unraveling and falling out of place. His ears were surprisingly different from human ears and the most striking thing was that Dream had black wings that ran under his back. Dream wears a white shirt with a pendant with a black tie. Dream wears a dark brown corset and black pants. His bangs covered one eye and the other one revealing the green of the other which gleamed in the hot morning sun; at one point the dream's eyes would turn dark green which was like herh eyes were black. Techno is fascinated and settles in that place under the guise of not having a home (it's true that he doesn't have a home, dream 2.0).

Techno grew back to see Dream's look that took care of him. Well, this is a new side of Dream's affection for Techno. However, Techno had to leave the village for quite a long time. He couldn't just sit there, Techno wanted to try something new. So techno goes to gladiators and gets 'title the blood god' and again. "Technoblade never die" is back again. It's not just a myth anymore but a legend that comes to life again after being buried for a long time with a boring history. Dream and Techno meet again when Techno does MCC and has a duel. He couldn't believe he would duel again with Dream. The Techno has now grown much taller than its original height.

Guys, I figured out- the whole hero vs. villain thing with c!Technoblade, and how it relates to Bedrock Bros (an unoffical essay)

So, the whole reason I made this blog was because of this realization I came to a few months back and need the fandom to know. This is all from the mythology class I took, focusing on Classical mythology. Also, I’m not up to date on lore.

So, the big debate in the fandom (I don’t know how strong it still is, but I know that people were talking about this at some point) is if c!Technoblade is a hero or villain. And that got me thinking. There are strong arguements for both, but I really couldn’t come to a decison. Then, I was in my Mythology class, studying the Iliad and Greek warrior culture, and things were starting to sound really familiar. We all know that Techno is a major nerd when it comes it Greek mythology, and the pieces started coming together.

So, a the qualifications to be a Greek hero are things like loyalty, strength, courage keeping promises, contempt towards inferiors, and the like. There is absolutly no need for them to be good people or moral individuals. In fact, they usually aren’t in the slightest. But they still are heroes in the eyes of the Greeks, despite not mathching up with our western ideals of what makes up a hero.

There are also three pillars to Greek warrior culture. I’ll include all of the relevant class notes at the bottom for added clarity, but in summary, it’s basically 1: being the best- physically and in the way they can give persuasive speeches. This is displayed by a great speech or a murderous rampage. 2: Honor through gains and spoils and 3: glory and fame that continues thoughout time, through skill or eloquence. Starting to sound familiar?

Techno has his English major speeches and kills crowds of people (ex. the festival after he kills Tubbo). I could go on a whole thing about the Axe of Peace and Carl the horse as a manifestation of geras (the ultimate prize a warrior can have), which is a big part of the second pillar. He’s big on his clout and image, and while this is just something that he seems to have absorbed into his overall image, you can see the lean in during lore.

This can explain some events that seem to contradict the heroic model that we expect. All of the times he says he was betrayed and destroys L’manburg seems like a villainous thing to do- but Greek heroes stick to their principles, no matter how illogical or unreasonable the results of their actions are. Succumbing to peer pressure? They would sacrifice anything to keep up their image as a powerful warrior.

Nothing shows this better than things like the favor to Dream. A Greek hero always keeps their promises and stays loyal. And a lot of this seems contradictory, or frustrating. And it is. But it’s a different culture from a different time. (Trust me, I love the Iliad, but reading it can be so painful at times). Put yourself into a Greek heroes shoes, and a lot of these villainous actions can be justified by their code and culture.

A great way to compare our Western hero culture with the Greek hero culture is by comparing the actions of c!Tommy with c!Technoblade. Tommy could be seen as a representation of a Western heroics. He wants to do the right thing, stay loyal to his friends and country, and get justice. He’s generally forgiving (we do have to keep in mind that this is Tommy, and he is a teenage boy). We can generally look at his actions and agree with them, in some way.

After exile, his interests align with Technoblade’s for a bit, though it falls apart. He goes back to Tubbo, which Techno sees as a betrayal by his Greek culture POV, while Tommy sees this as a logical progession. Also, Tommy sees the destruction of L’manburg as a betrayal, while Techno sees it as a logical progression. Their respective veiws of the world are too different for them to be able to work together. Bedrock bros, in this regard, were never meant to be.

Comparing the two of them is a great model for Western v. Greek hero culture. Now, this is just a theory. But if you look at the actions that don’t seem to align with logic and compare it to the warrior culture I’ve discussed, it hits too many points, in my opinion, for it to be coincidental. Personally, I think that these similarities are on purpouse, and that Technoblade is planning out the canonical actions of his character based on these base ideas.

I don’t know if anyone else has made this connection, but here you go. Also, it would be really embaressing if someone actually said this, and I wrote a whole essay on something that’s already been confirmed and is common knowledge. I’ve barely scratched the surface, I can’t cover everything from a full college class in a Tumblr post, but I’ll add the class notes that relate. If you made it to down here, have a golden star. okay, the conversation happened yesterday but i still wanted to give my input lmao

i think you do c!bedrock bros arc a disservice if you only look at it from a “who was in the right?” angle, but also if you only see the positive things and look at from a “they were such besties bring them back” angle.

the tragedy of c!bedrock bros isn’t that they betrayed each other maliciously nor is it that they were the best of friends and tragically fell apart suddenly and surprisingly; it’s that we saw them develop from reluctant partners to actual friends, all the while knowing that they were never meant to be, that they would never stay that way.

from c!tommy’s refusal to team up with c!technoblade because he wanted to destroy l’manberg to c!technoblade keeping his plans a secret until the very last second, from c!tommy being adamant that he’d never want to be friends with c!techno and him agreeing, to him and c!technoblade slowly building up a friendship despite all the odds against them. it was great because it wasn’t just them jumping from big moment to big moment; it was great because we saw them build up their friendship inbetween the big moments. their friendship was alive which made the story so much better and more nuanced. because the story’s not just about them and their goals, it’s about them and the friendship they built up and the trust and the little moments. their characters didn’t only appear to achieve their goals; they actually felt alive. and the fact that we saw the little moments was what made their friendship and their overall arc so interesting.

c!bedrock bros is an amazing arc, not because it’s all bad or all good - but because it’s such a fantastic mix: we see them build up a reluctant friendship despite knowing it’ll never last because their ideologies and motivations have never aligned, but these differences become less and less talked about so you begin to believe that their friendship will survive this. and it doesn’t.

it’s a great arc because we have c!technoblade never relenting on blowing up l’manberg and lying to c!tommy, and we have c!tommy slowly embracing c!technoblade’s techniques and becoming a worse person for it; all the while we have them building up a friendship, we see them joke around, we see c!techno try and talk c!tommy through his panic. because of how great c!bedrock bros are together when they’re good, we try and forget that they would never last, that their goals would always push them apart.

c!bedrock bros isn’t about choosing sides, it’s not about one being good and the other bad; it’s rather about how friendships can be deep and strong, that you can care so much for the other, but if your roads are complete polar opposites - it’s just not gonna work out.

tl;dr you can choose to only focus on the negative aspects of c!bedrock bros, their flaws, the miscommunication. you can choose to ignore all the negative sides and only focus on the moments where they were good friends and cracked jokes. but in sticking to either extreme of the spectrum means you miss out on a lot of what makes c!bedrock bros so truly great. they were great because they were alive as characters, and in those cases there will never be a clear villain or hero.

Dream SMP Recap (August 3/2021) - A Year Later

Jack celebrates a lonely birthday and makes a decision about his life moving forward.

Wilbur and Ranboo visit the ruins of L’manburg and find Tubbo there, mourning the country.

- It’s Jack’s birthday. He sings to himself alone at the top of the hotel, with a cake

He hasn’t left this room in 80 days. He’s been drinking a lot and he keeps blacking out. He’s dressed up in his old L’manburg uniform

- Jack hasn’t gotten many customers in the hotel. The one he’s managed to get is a skeleton

- He decides to go outside and look around

- He finds Tommy’s new house and meets Shroud

- Jack goes down into the sewers and remembers when he first joined the server and he, Tommy and Quackity (still in juvie at the time) did their heists

- He’s pissed off that everything he cares about on the server gets destroyed or taken advantage of. He’s not sure he even wants to be here

- Tubbo logs on while he’s monologuing

Tubbo: you smell of shit

- Jack goes to Las Nevadas to see how it is after Quackity promised him a business deal so long ago

Tubbo: shit smellin lad

Jack: “You know, at least he logged on. At least he logged on to say something to me.”

...

Jack: “This is kinder than anything else anyone has done as of yet. Therefore, you’re alright, Tubbo.”

- Jack reaches Las Nevadas and sees that it looks pretty done. Quackity didn’t hold up his end of the bargain

- Jack decides he no longer wants anything to do with anybody. He wants to do something for himself. He wants something new, completely different.

New Manifoldland

- He travels far into the wilderness to find a spot to make his new land

- Wilbur sings the L’manburg anthem, asking if Ranboo knows it. He tells Ranboo the story of how Wilbur based it on the tune of Hallelujah because of Tommy singing it to the tilled dirt

- He and Ranboo walk down the Prime Path, noticing the beets. They visit Eret’s museum. Ranboo’s been working on the Ranvan

- Wilbur wants to go to L’manburg. Ranboo says it’s called L’manhole now, but Wilbur doesn’t approve. It’s called L’manburg

- Wilbur’s excited to see how the crater’s changed now that the glass is gone. He sees the flag at the bottom and hops down

- They spot Tubbo over on the ruins, singing the anthem quietly to himself

- Wilbur sees Tubbo wearing the suit and tells him he looks like a mirror in it. Tubbo just put on the suit since it’s been a year

- Wilbur hasn’t seen Tubbo much since he was first resurrected. He asks if Ranboo’s met Tubbo and says he’s calmed down now, gotten settled

- Wilbur apologizes to Tubbo, for making him the president of a crater

- Tubbo tells him this crater wasn’t all him, and he forgives Wilbur

Wilbur: “Man, my little Secretary Treasury, remember that?”

- Ghostbur put effort into rebuilding the place. When Wilbur points out the obsidian grid, Tubbo mentions Dream and Wilbur starts talking about how he loves Dream. Tubbo says it was Techno and Phil who did this

- Wilbur is confused. Didn’t Techno and Phil live here? Tubbo tells him they hated the government, but Tubbo rebuilt this place

- Wilbur is touched

Wilbur: “I was so pressed about not having a grave — screw a grave! I built something that you loved, that you — that you wanted to preserve! That’s—“

Tubbo: “Yeah, I really — honestly—”

Wilbur: “Tubbo, that’s worth more to me than a grave.”

- Tubbo’s been lost without L’manburg, all his core beliefs died with it

- Wilbur has something, though. He has a burger van and plans for it — Paradise — and he’s wondering if Tubbo wants to come join him. Tubbo is unsure. He’s forgiven Wilbur, but he still isn’t sure that he trusts him

- Wilbur has been thinking for thirteen years. He’s really, truly sorry

Wilbur: “I’m not gonna hurt you again, I’m not gonna, you know — I know you had that — at the Festival, with Technoblade? I never spoke to you properly about this. I…I could’ve saved you.”

Tubbo: “But you didn’t.”

Wilbur: “I — Tubbo, I’m reaching out to you here man, I’m on my knees bro, I — I’m sorry, I’m really really sorry and I — literally your forgiveness means so much to me but it doesn’t give up what I did to you and it doesn’t give up how I failed you as a friend, you know, as — fuck being as a coworker, as, you know, anything! Ranboo, you might not have known all of this, I can explain later on, but Tubbo — man, I wanna make it up to you, and you know what? I appreciate that you don’t trust me. I do.”

Tubbo: “Wilbur, in order for you to gain my trust back, you have to prove it first. I can’t just give it out anymore. I used to be able to, but I just — I just can’t.”

- Wilbur wants to prove to Tubbo that he’s worth being trusted

Tubbo: “You know I still have dreams, right? Of the explosion, and — and of the fireworks, and — and all of it. I still — I vividly see all of it, every day. It hurts. It hurts a lot, Wilbur.”

- Wilbur understands he needs to earn Tubbo’s trust

Wilbur: “Tubbo, do you know how fucking strong you are? And I’m not just trying to say this, I’ve got your forgiveness and I know I need to earn your trust but man I just want to let you know, I — you’re so strong man, genuinely. Just the fact that you proved to me just there that you have these memories and you have these nightmares and you still found it in your heart to forgive me, that’s…You’re a fuckin’ champion, man. You’re a — you’re a hero.”

- Wilbur invites Tubbo to see Paradise, but Tubbo wants to stay. He gives Tubbo the lucky rabbit’s foot Tommy gave him and leaves with Ranboo

- The two of them talk about L’manburg’s history. Wilbur tells Ranboo something he’s never told anyone, not even Tommy:

He told Tommy that he didn’t care about L’manburg, but that’s not true. L’manburg was really important to him and still is to this day.

- Everyone’s moved on from L’manburg, but Tubbo is still the last connection

- Wilbur doesn’t want to string Tommy along too much

Wilbur: “When I look at him, when he’s helping me out, building things with me, I — I see the same eyes that looked at me when…when…they weren’t some fun times in the ravine of Pogtopia, I wasn’t a very well man, and I can just see Tommy from that day.”

- They reach the Wilburger Ranvan and Wilbur likes the decoration Ranboo’s added. Wilbur asks him again why Ranboo trusts him, and Ranboo says he knows what it’s like to not be trusted

Ranboo: “If no one’s with you, then how can anyone really know when you’ve redeemed yourself?”

Wilbur: “You wanna be here to see the fireworks, huh?”

(Thunder booms)

- Wilbur says Ranboo’s got exactly the mindset he’s thinking of and he knew he could trust him. He tells Ranboo when Tubbo comes over, they can get to know each other better

- Wilbur leaves Ranboo at the Ranvan

- Foolish plants ridiculous amounts of bamboo

c!Tommy and c!Techno are probably going to cross paths again soon and since they both in their most recent streams showed (very clear, on c!Tommy’s part) signs of missing each other, it’s likely they’ll try to talk stuff out. I want them to reconcile as much as any other bedrock bros enjoyer but I’m worried about how it’ll play out.

c!Tommy clearly feels guilty for leaving c!Techno and has said that upfront. He has spoken kindly about c!Techno quite a few times after they split and has shown he still cares about him a lot. In his last stream he even referred to c!Techno as his “brother, almost”. There’s no doubt that he wants to reconcile with c!Techno.

Then we have c!Technoblade who hasn’t shown any sign of self-reflection honestly at any point during his time on the smp. He’s never owned up to anything he has done wrong and just goes on the defensive when confronted. Because of this, I’m worried that when they see each other again c!Tommy is going to be the only one to make an effort to make it up to c!Techno and c!Techno isn’t going to say anything of the sort in return.

About the team up: people love to say that they BOTH made their intentions very clear from the beginning but that’s not true. c!Tommy constantly made it clear throughout the entire time he was with c!Techno that he didn’t want to blow up or hurt L’manburg in any way, he didn’t want to hurt c!Tubbo, and he just wanted to get his discs back to be able to stop the conflict that had been going on involving them since the very beginning of the server. He made sure to mention that to c!Techno often and wouldn’t hesitate to protest certain things c!Techno tried doing during their team up if he didn’t agree with them. c!Techno on the other hand never listened whenever c!Tommy said these things and blew them off with “we’ll negotiate the finer details later”. He hid the fact that his main intention was to blow up L’manburg until he accidentally let that slip during a conversation the day before the green festival. There was so much wrong with what c!Techno said during that conversation as well. He admitted that at the beginning of their team up he saw c!Tommy as “pretty useless” and that he was “only dragging [c!Tommy] along to achieve his own ends”. (Side note: during Doomsday he claims that c!Tommy had been “using him from the start” even though he straight up admitted to using c!Tommy in the conversation previously stated. c!Techno is the largest hypocrite and that seems to get overlooked a lot.) It’s unfair to say that c!Techno was being upfront and use that to discredit c!Tommy’s actions because that was never the case. It’s funny that a lot of the people who make that claim are people who watch c!Techno’s perspective since it’s even more clear that c!Techno had been hiding that from c!Tommy if you watch it from c!Techno’s perspective.

About what happened at the community house: though c!Tommy himself said he betrayed c!Techno when talking to c!Wilbur in his last stream, I still think “betrayal” is an incredibly strong word for what happened. c!Tommy completely spelled it out for everyone when it happened: after yelling “the discs were worth more than you ever were” at c!Tubbo he got the harsh slap in the face that he was becoming exactly what he hated. He realized that he was becoming a more and more violent person the longer he stayed with c!Techno, he had been sneaking into L’manburg and helping c!Techno commit minor terrorism, he had been hurting people in the process of getting c!Techno his weapons back (ex, c!Connor and c!Fundy), and he had just hurt his own best friend. This is when he made the decision to apologize to and side with c!Tubbo again and, as much as I loved c!Tommy and c!Techno’s team up, I firmly believe that c!Tommy made the right choice and I don’t blame him at all. Leaving c!Techno wasn’t him choosing “the government” over c!Techno, it wasn’t him being ungrateful for c!Techno letting him stay in his home and giving him weapons, and it wasn’t him trying to leave c!Techno to die to the large group of L’manburg citizens surrounding them. c!Tommy had to leave him for his own well-being and thank god he did.

I don’t know how people can watch the green festival stream and still get mad at c!Tommy and use him leaving c!Techno as a reason to criticize him as a person since he straight up explained everything he was feeling in that moment. It was a completely justified decision.

It’s sad that c!Tommy is starting to doubt himself for that decision and see himself as in the wrong because he wasn’t. c!Techno, in all honesty, wasn’t the best person for him. Sure he let him live in his basement, supplied weapons and food for him, and helped him hide from c!Dream but that’s just called being a decent person. c!Tommy had just escaped from an abusive situation and desperately needed a place to stay. He really had no other option but to hide under c!Techno’s base and scavenge for spare stuff in his chests. It was good of c!Techno to look out for him but you have to remember he was willing to give up c!Tommy to his abuser for a favor and said that right in front of c!Tommy. If he really cared for c!Tommy he would’ve never brought up that favor and would’ve protected him without questioning it. If c!Tommy had stayed with c!Techno, it was only a matter of time before he handed him right over to c!Dream.

Another thing to mention is that c!Techno actually ended up siding with c!Tommy’s abuser (c!Dream) for Doomsday. That is incredibly shitty on c!Techno’s part. They had a common goal, yes, but he still sided with an abuser. If you compare the two —c!Tommy leaving c!Techno after realizing he was becoming a worse person when he was around him VS c!Techno teaming up with c!Tommy’s abuser— you can clearly see which one is worse.

If we’re going to get any sort of reconciliation with the two of them, I don’t want c!Tommy to apologize for leaving since his reasoning for that was justified.

tldr: c!Tommy had his reasons for leaving c!Technoblade and shouldn’t have to apologize to him for that. If they reconcile I don’t want it to just be c!Tommy who takes the fall for everything but I’m worried that that’s where this is heading. c!Tommy isn’t afraid to admit his faults and apologize when he’s in the wrong but c!Techno has never been able to do that.

“you only saw me as a weapon!” an in-depth analysis of tommy and techno’s relationship /rp

a mild focus on techno’s thoughts since it’s his speech, but not one or the other is in the right here. a lot of this might have been said, but this is a BIG collection from pogtopia to doomsday to address as many angles as possible. to preface, i don’t think tommy sees techno as a weapon and nothing else, but the point remains that techno feels like he does, and that’s important.

this is from like january btw lol

we’ll start with “the blade” tommy’s nickname for techno, which got adopted by a lot of the server (as tommy’s nicknames tend to be). most other people have the Big [X] format, but techno gets this specialised nickname. i think the reason he developed a negative association with it was because of when it was used; when they need him for fights. the most important would be the vault reveal, with wilbur getting everyone to victoriously chant “we have the blade!” to boister morale. this would have been fine in and of itself, if it weren’t for the events of the rest of the day and what that name would come to represent. it ends up becoming a taunt to him, because that’s what people get close to him for. his use to them as the blade rather than his friendship to them as technoblade

tommy’s always very happy to call in techno for help, and techno usualy sorts it out with... minimal effort required. i do see this more as a blend of tommy’s pride in knowing techno and smugness at having that kind of upperhand in a fight over him viewing techno solely as a weapon to use, but this still ends up being detrimental to their friendship because of how much it happens. remember, the entire reason techno joined the server was to help wilbur and techno form pogtopia. techno doesn’t mind helping tommy out, but at some point it’s going to be frustrating, being called in for any and all minor struggles. but in the end of the day, it’s fine, because they’re brothers under the same cause. destroying manberg. Oh Wait.

the main issue came after the festival, with that faith and trust tommy had in techno being shattered; rightfully so, because watching tubbo get murdered was traumatic for him, because for tommy the pit was no way to settle that conflict (which reminded, wasn’t techno’s suggestion, it was proposed and pushed onto them by wilbur). since tommy sees technoblade as unbeatable, he couldn’t understand why techno was so easily peer-pressured by manberg. he was threatened by how many people were against him, he was stressed dealing with the voices telling him to do it, he didn’t see any other way out, he wasn’t getting any support from his only other allies even though he was looking right at them and they still did nothing.

but tommy didn’t understand because he thought techno could have won. techno did try to stall as well, but without orders from his friends he ended up following schatt’s, and once he realised he had the power to kill everyone on stage, he just gave into that power. the miscommunication during the pogtopia arc was why techno felt as betrayed as he did, and why the victim complex argument annoys me so much, since he was kept in the dark for that long while grinding resources for the army. also, since techno wasn’t there for l’manberg’s peaceful days or the start of the disc saga he would never understand how important those attachments were to people, so he’d feel little remorse blowing them all up (especially since he knew that was the backup plan for pogtopia anyway, and just because people were unhappy about it didn’t change the fact that it was a plan)

a lot of people say that techno should have known that pogtopia’s goal was to form a new government, that at some point he should have overheard the real plan. everyone agreed to ‘destroy manberg’ (as in the government not the land) but somehow techno never found out about the ‘restoring l’manberg’ part of the plan. how that happened, who knows, but in the end of the day, the writers chose for that miscommunication to happen for the story. it’s not a how or a why, it’s just a fact that was written in. he didn’t find out until it was right in front of him, and he was bound to feel betrayed by that, enough that he was driven to do something irrational. my personal theory is that techno was mainly following wilbur’s orders, and because wilbur was the real traitor, chances are he never mentioned any forming of a new government since he knew that would lose techno’s support. wilbur was probably using techno as a weapon, that was his mentality for a lot of people back then, but since he was the leader of pogtopia then that negative transference carried on to the rest of the members for techno, most of all tommy as he was the other key founder, and not as underhanded about getting techno’s help. i’d say wilbur’s address of techno during the final speech was the a key reason as to why techno doesn’t feel as used by him than he is with tommy, solidifying the anarchy bros before dying, meaning anything else could be revealed.

after the war, the bedrock bros were completely alienated from eachother. tommy started to blame everything about l’manberg’s destruction on techno, since wilbur died and ghostbur isn’t really at fault for anything. techno distanced himself from everything, going into retirement for the unforeseeable future because he felt like his violent anarchist tactics were futile and grew tired of constant conflict. he talked to tommy a few times during retirement, and every single time, he asks tommy how the government was working out for him. when he was at risk of being exiled, just before being exiled and immediately after exile. he wanted tommy to see the government in the same light as he did, because when l’manberg sold him out he realised they were the same. they’d both been betrayed by the government and from that point on he fully believed tommy would be better off away from l’manberg. but every time tommy said no, because he believed in the original dream wilbur had for l’manberg and because he trusted tubbo’s leadership. techno was smug when he was proved right because of course he was he’s technoblade. plus, they did view eachother as enemies at this point, so it’s not unacceptable for them to argue with eachother right now.

that brings us to the execution. traumatising! the refusal to run a fair trial and the dehumanising treatment from his old allies in pogtopia hammer this home, but importantly they rope philza into the chaos this time. ALSO it’s important to mention that techno was killed; he just got an extra life from the totem. he was actually killed and his character experienced that pain as punishment. he was pushed out of retirement, which was unjust in his eyes, since he believed he had genuinely changed. it didn’t help that quackity explicitly told him it wasn’t actually punishment for the withers, but instead a move to consolidate power, furthering his view of the cabinet as corrupt. from that point on he left retirement. he’d been doing well without violence, building connections with new people like vikk and lazar and finding a fragile form of peace, but in the end this shattered it. he’s back to being the blade, speaking with violence, because l’manberg made it clear there was no other way for him to be heard at this point. so he’s going to destroy them, even if he has to do it alone.

enter stage raccooninnit.

tommy taking refuge in techno’s house because he knew techno was rich enough for him to steal his resources and strong enough to defend him from dream is... interesting. he couldn’t go back to l’manberg, but he took refuge with a man who he viewed as a villain. this probably doesn’t help techno’s opinion of him, since he is quite literally using him for his resources, but in the end of the day tommy was desperate and quite literally on the verge of death, so he seemed to take some kind of pity on him. the exile period of their relationship is definitely the most important part of this argument, because it was just the two of them: no wilbur or pogtopia as an external force (though the pressure of dream and l’manberg still affected things) but in the same way ultimately doomed to fail. they fight for a moment, but ultimately settle as ‘business partners’. which quickly evolves back into a friendship like the one they had before the festival.

my least favourite take is that either one of them never valued the other at this point because this is just.... violently not true. they started off working for mutual benefit; tommy explicitly agreed to do minor terrorism in l’manberg and to help techno get his weapons back in return for techno’s help getting the discs back and taking refuge in his house. from the start both of them stated their limits:

techno was always planning on getting revenge on l’manberg for what happened on the day of his execution

tommy never wanted to upset tubbo, and wanted to put getting his discs back first

should note that tommy changes his mind on the disc’s priority later on, but at the point of their alliance he does make it clear that’s what he wants out of the partnership. the issue is that from the start both of them went in with blind optimism. neither of them lied to eachother or forced them to change their viewpoints but in the end of the day they could never be on the same side as long as l’manberg was involved. (note, i think some people think he wasn’t but techno was actually planning on helping tommy getting the discs back, with him getting annoyed at tommy letting tubbo give dream the disc because that made both of their jobs so much harder, but it was more of a long term goal bc he knew dream was hard to beat. plus before his execution, he visited tommy and strongly implied he would be willing to help with the discs, and that he would be a better ally in those personal aims than NLM were)

i don’t understand the ‘techno was only using tommy’ accusation here because like... how? what would he have to gain by having tommy on his side? he could definitely have blown up l’manberg without his help, so why bring him in at all? it was a very mutual agreement of ‘we’re using eachother’ that developed into genuine friendship. i’ve always seen it as a teaching experience: techno knows tommy had been wronged by NLM, and by extension tubbo, and by taking him on these minor terrorism trips, he’s showing tommy the worst of l’manberg. look, look at this execution stand, look at what they’ve done. and in doing this, he’s trying to prove to tommy that what he’s going to do to l’manberg is right. and in showing him the worst of NLM, he’s neglecting all of its good parts, but again, techno cant see any positives in l’manberg, and is trying to show tommy that everyone, especially tommy, would be better off without it. and tommy had criticisms of l’manberg before he was exiled, especially in regards to tubbo. he told ranboo the reason he chose wilbur to be president instead of tubbo was because he was worried the presidency would ruin their friendship, and Look At Exactly What Happened. techno highlighting the flaws of the country to tommy was easy because it WAS flawed and it hurt both of them. and techno’s hope was that tommy would join him in the eventual destruction of it, because he wanted to share his revenge with tommy and for him to get his own justice against l’manberg. but it... didn’t quite work out that way.

they both tried to make it easier for the other; techno told tommy he didn’t need to fight against l’manberg if he didn’t want to, but tommy came with him to the festival anyway to confront dream, despite techno’s mission being against the government in that situation. tommy started to view tubbo’s cabinet as corrupt for the execution and neglecting him during exile, and ended up helping techno out around the base and even toning down the purposeful annoyance (per techno’s ooc request). and the day before the green festival, he told techno he would help to destroy l’manberg (not knowing how quickly things would escalate the next day, since doomsday was fairly spontaneous) but in the end they would never be able to find a full compromise: techno would always be an anarchist and tommy could never hurt tubbo.

people accuse techno of not caring for tommy, which really annoys me because it’s not?? true??? if anything he shows more outward affection than tommy did. he didn’t have any benefit from taking in tommy, but he still did it. it’s not really basic decency either, given that they were technically enemies beforehand. he picked up on tommy’s fragile state around dream and defended, hid him despite the fact that he owed dream, he kept him away from logsted and the final control room after realising how upsetting they were. he exchanged the christmas presents, he jumped in to defend him against the rest of the server and when tommy betrayed techno, he was genuinely hurt! he was wrecklessly impulsive in a way the calculated blade usually wasn’t, almost blowing up half his house (including almost killing his villagers) because of the negative association with dnret.

that’s not to say tommy doesn’t also get absolutely crucified for betraying techno because of all of techno did for him. again it was somewhat inevitable. tommy said it himself, he was turning into someone he didn’t want to be, he was hurting people, and it was somewhat because he was living with technoblade. he was so powerless under dream, and he liked the feeling of power he got from teaming with techno, so much so that it drove him to cruelty, with even techno telling him he went too far with fundy. in the end, it’s probably for the best that he set that boundary and left to go back to l’manberg, but ultimately it was upsetting to both of them. techno felt betrayed because he genuinely thought tommy was his friend, only to be turned on last minute once again, now surrounded alone by enemies he was trying to protect tommy from. to him, allying with dream was just as bad as tommy allying with l’manberg. a betrayal for a betrayal, absolute reciprocity.

we all know the doomsday speech, with techno’s arguments being consistently stronger than tommy’s and much easier to defend, but we can’t just dismiss him. tommy had a lot of emotional input that day, and was angry at techno for a Lot of reasons, so he was more focused on shouting than making sense. he was more accusatory, while techno had fairly focused rebuttals (which, fair, i’m pretty sure that was techno’s first big addressal of most of that with other characters). it ended with tommy calling techno selfish for destroying l’manberg and techno coldly shutting tommy out for the betrayal.

betrayal was the driving force for techno’s “weapon” speech. tommy used him in pogtopia, tried to use him to stop dream exiling him and terrorising NLM) which he laughed at when told in character) and used him for getting the discs back. tommy wasn’t just using him, he genuinely felt like they had built a relationship beyond that, but when techno acted under his own ideals that went against his, then it was over. because tommy doesn’t value techno’s ideals, because they’re ‘selfish’ to him since he’s one of the only ones who believes in them. in turn techno sees that as making tommy selfish and as such they’re unable to compromise.

living with techno was an important part of tommy’s recovery process, which is still ongoing now. he saw immediate changes from his time with dream, claiming he felt “more me-ey” around techno and genuinely valuing his company. but he viewed techno’s alliance with dream as a betrayal, and he viewed the nov 16th incident as a betrayal. because he see’s techno’s belief in anarchy as selfish. something i never hear people point out is that tommy ADMITS he betrayed techno. after doomsday*, he says “all this time, technoblade told me i was betraying him. and you know what? (whispered) i was.” he’s guilty about it, and he understands that techno’s hurt. but he still can’t see him as being in the right, because techno took l’manberg forcefully and violently, and because tommy was hurt by their separation too. techno was powered by revenge more than anarchy during doomsday, which i think is important to point out. tommy had focused in on the threat of dream, and forgotten all the trauma techno went through with l’manberg, and left techno to rejoin l’manberg.

BOTH of them have explicitly stated “i viewed him as a friend but he never viewed me as one” and that’s just... devastating. at one point we can only hope that they have an in-canon conversation to actually settle all of this, but for now their storylines are separate and we’ll just have to live with that.

Warning: angst, mentions of death, selectively mute Techno.

Technoblade has always been the quiet guy who had quick comebacks. His little remarks would cause the entire room to burst into a fit of laughter. They came so easily to Techno, like second nature.

Recently though, after Wilbur’s death, Techno had become quieter than normal. He wouldn't respond with his signature comeback. Even when Tommy made a stupid statement, or when he commented on Techno’s over-the-top dress wear. He would just stare, his face blank, no emotion evident on his face.

This caused multiple awkward moments when Tommy was trying to get a reaction out of him. Pushing all of the buttons he knows Techno had. In return, he'd receive a glare from the piglin.

No yelling, no snarls, or even an invite to a fight. Which Tommy enjoyed but would always end up on the ground, the tip of a sword to his throat.

Techno let out a sigh, he was working on another sword, just a backup. A precaution if you will.

He hasn't seen Tommy since the destruction of L’manburg.

Their fight.

The fight Techno wanted to resolve so badly. He wanted to explain his reasonings more in-depth to the boy. Wanted to have his little brother back, but he couldn't. Techno didn't want Tommy to know he misses him. He didn't want him to know he loathes the time without him. He most definitely didn’t want him to know he thinks about their adventures together all the time.

The laughter they had together. It brings a smile to the man’s face. That same smile dissolving as he remembered, Tommy hated him. Feels hostility toward his entire being. Loathes him practically.

The piglin sighed with distress. The voices were quiet too. The one time he wants them to talk they are quiet.

Techno stood up from his hunched position over the anvil. A few cracks came from his back, causing him to groan.

He walked across the bridge connecting his house to Phil’s.

Speaking about Phil, he hasn't been home in a while. He was going to get resources a week ago.

A week?

Techno knew for a fact getting resource didn't take a week. This caused a worrying sensation to itch the back of Techno’s brain.

He knows Phil can take care of himself. He knows Phil is strong. But that didn’t stop him from thinking Phil could be in danger. A danger that Phil couldn’t handle by himself.

Techno straightens his back, he’ll be fine. Phil can handle himself. He didn’t need him for a simple resource run.

He walked down the stairs looking around the snowy land, spotting Ranboo’s cabin in the mountainside. Having the sweet hybrid around was nice, refreshing even. Seeing someone so genuinely nice was something Techno hasn't been around much. Other than Phil.

He debated asking the hybrid if he's seen Phil but decided against it.

He walked to the crow’s wheat farm, all grown to full length, a week's worth of growth. That same worrying pain that began in his brain inched its way into his chest, causing him to start quickly walking to the hybrid house. All thought about Phil’s strength was lost.

He knocked harshly on the iron door. Waiting impatiently for him to open up.

He jumped when it opened up to see the taller hybrid, a confused look on his face.

“Oh hello, Techno. What's wrong?” Ranboo walked out of his house to stand straight and look at the distressed piglin.

Techno, who couldn’t speak, started to sign aggressively.

“Have you seen Phil?” Ranboo, who knew of Techno’s recent muteness, responded.

“No, I haven’t. You think somethings wrong?” Techno nods worryingly, this made Ranboo stand up straighter, he got the same chest pains Techno had felt moments ago.

“Would you like help to find him? I can help,” Ranboo asked desperately. Techno nodded, starting to quickly walk back to his house, Ranboo following right behind him.

Techno grabbed Orphan Obliterator and started his journey to the Nether portal. Ranboo trying to catch up to the piglin.

“Where are we going?” Ranboo asked, slouching his back so he can speak to Techno properly. Techno signed;

“I’m not sure,” and continued to stand in the purple portal. He honestly didn’t know where they were going. Phil didn’t tell him what resources he was getting. The fact that he had no general idea where his father was, was making Techno anxious.

Phil, besides Ranboo, was the only one that hasn’t left him. That hasn’t betrayed his trust. So him not telling him any piece of info wasn’t like him.

Thinking about Phil in danger made Techno’s legs move faster. Made him take shortcuts to...

To...

L’manburg’s portal. Tommy. He needs him. Ironically needs his voice. How he always knows how to make a sad situation light-hearted. He needs that. He yearns for Tommy’s comfort.

He walked down the stairs heading for where he knew Tommy would be. Tommy was chilling on his and Tubbo’s shared bench, looking at the beautiful scenery in front of him.

Techno pushed Ranboo to get his attention, once he got it, he point at Tommy. Ranboo understood what he asked and yelled for the blonde;

“Tommy!”

The blonde looked over, a smile on his face hearing his friend's voice but is soon disappeared seeing his brother. The same brother that betrayed him. That destroyed his home, the place he loved oh so dearly.

“What is he doing here?” The poison in the youngest voice caused pain in Techno’s heart. Pain, which caused him to let out a shaky breath.

“We are looking for Phil. You seen him?” Ranboo asked, even though he’s receiving disrespect, he still responds with such genuine kindness. It makes Techno's pain simmer down, but it was still evident.

“No, haven’t seen the old man. How long has he been gone?” He was looking at Ranboo, not giving Techno the bare minimum as eye contact. Unfortunately, Ranboo couldn’t respond, he didn’t know. So he glanced at the broad pig.

Techno, not speaking, responded with sign language;

“A week.”

The hand movements made Tommy roll his eyes.

“Just speak, bro.”

The sentence hurt Techno. Hurt him more than it should. He knew why Tommy was being sour but it’s been a long time.

He looked down in defeat. Why couldn’t he speak? Why was he like this? He used to speak all the time. It just wouldn’t come out, he couldn’t bring himself to open his mouth. Was it because of Wilbur’s death, or was he just pathetic?

“Tommy, we aren't here for arguing. We just want to know where Phil is, ” Ranboo explained sternly but still kind in his wording. Tommy took and deep breath and nodded.

“Okay, I haven’t seen him, but I’ll keep my eye out.” He gave Ranboo a reassuring smile. He didn't even look in Techno’s direction.

Fine.

If Tommy wanted to be that way, then so be it. He puffed out his chest and gave him a huff. His snout unleashing bits of smoke. He hasn't been in his human form in a while, all he understands why is that he doesn't want to be vulnerable. He's on edge all the time in that form.

He spun around, furious. Stomping away like a pathetic child. He couldn't even express his feelings to Tommy and that's what pisses him off. Tommy doesn't know he loves him still. Tommy doesn't know that he is sorry that he had to do what he did. Tommy didn't know he still cares for him so much.

He heard Ranboo call after him in his fit of self-doubt and anger. Running over, Ranboo’s hand landed on his shoulder to try and get his attention. Techno spun around, breath coming from his snout blowing into the enderman’s face.

“What’s up with you?” Ranboo asked with so much desperate concern. Techno huffed again and started to sign violently;

“Why can’t he just understand that I had to do it. Also, he thinks that I can just speak. I physically can’t. He’s such a fucking brat. We are family! He should act like family! Family doesn’t do what he’s doing!”

Techno’s facial expressions were showing his true emotion. He was the most upset Ranboo has ever seen. He swore he could see tears brimming his crimson eyes.

Ranboo’s heart shattered. Crumbling down to the endless pit that was his stomach. Techno had turned his head to the side to hide the tears that were streaming down his face. Techno wiped them off and stood up straighter puffing out his chest once again.

He strode to Tommy his stomps shaking the ground so much that Ranboo felt it in his feet. Techno taking a deep breath like he was about to speak but began to sign, already knowing that Tommy can read sign language.

Tommy was the one trying so hard to learn. He wanted to be able to speak to techno without using paper. He was so happy the first time Techno understood what he said. Techno was going quickly though. It took Tommy a second to process what his brother was saying;

“You are so unbelievably selfish! You were barely even bothered by Wilbur’s death. I don't know why I can't speak! That is known of your business anyways. We are trying to find OUR father and you just wanted to keep an eye out for him? Not even a little concerned that he might be in danger? We are your family! Family Tommy! I'm sorry for what I did to your home but I had to! To save you from the government! I love you, Tommy. You are family! Family! Family... Family..”

Techno was crying at this point as he aggressively signed ”Family” to Tommy, whose eyes were wide with the same tears that shed when Techno left. The night after l’manburg fell he cried to Tubbo all night and all of the next day.

“Techno... You... I'm sorry, ” Tommy lunged to hug Techno tightly. Techno’s large arms wrapped around the small boy. Techno was imagining that Tommy was a baby again. So small and cute, so much ambition in that small body of his.

“I’m sorry,” Tommy cried in Technos shoulder slowly lowering back down to the ground, only to realize it was Techno getting shorter. Tommy lifted his head to see Techno. Normal Techno.

People would always say they think Techno would have long pink hair due to his piglin gene. It was the opposite, though. He was Wilburs twin, after all. Wilbur’s signature short fluffy brown hair was his too.

He looked like Wilbur, every time he looked in the mirror, unwelcome tears would cascade down his face.

“Family, ” Techno signed with the emotion he wanted to express on his face. Tommy nodded, a smile spreading across his face.

“Family,” Tommy copied Techno’s hands.

Ranboo, still standing behind them, tears being quickly wiped away before hitting his cheeks.

“Need a tissue?”

Ranboo quickly twisted to see Phil, his wings tucked in tightly, and weirdly enough, he looked skinnier than when he last saw him.

“Phil?! Where were you? Techno was worrying me, man.”

Phil laughed, “I’m fine, I just got caught lacking food.”

Ranboo’s eyes widened. He couldn’t figure out why he didn’t ask any more questions. Their moment ended when Phil started to yell at them.

“Hey mate! I’m fine by the way!”

Techno’s face was shocked and confused at the same time.

“Where were you?!” Techno signed aggressively.

“I got stuck getting a fuck tone of cobblestone!”

“Oh!”

Phil laughed and smiled when Techno wrapped his arm around Tommy’s shoulder. He was listening with such genuine happiness as Tommy spoke about the new things happening in his life.

“They love each other,” Ranboo smiles and looks at Phil cheerfully. Phil laughed and nodded at him in agreement.

“Yep, anyways, I’m going to have much food I pass out.”

“Okay, Phil, have fun!”

They wave “bye” at each other as Ranboo makes his way back home.

It was weeks after Tommy’s and Techno’s reunion. They were inseparable. They would be out practicing their fighting or just in front of the fireplace. Tommy passed out while Techno kept him warm as he read.

Techno had started speaking with only a few words in a sentence. His growth in his speech, though, was relieving to his father and his brother, his family.

They were all eating at Techno’s dinner table. Everyone was together.

Ranboo, Phil, Tommy, Tubbo, and Niki. Techno studdered for a second but managed to let out. He has the first genuine smile he'd had in a long time.

“M-my family.”

I'm sick of this. I can't take it- it's eating away at my soul at exponential rates. This is the worst. This sucks. NO MORE. I cannot take it. Pls spare me oh God.

This fandom is so creative and talented I love you. I do. I'll never stop. you are all incredibly talented and it's great for lurking art enjoyers such as myself.

BUT.

We seem to have hit a roadblock when it comes to origins smp and designing technoblade's origin. Almost all the pitches I've seen so far are wither or piglin/piglin brute/some variation of pig.

(Yes I've already ranted about this, but it's been a couple weeks and nothing's changed so I'll continue shouting into the void. Maybe my wording will be better and more convincing this time who knows).

While the concepts are cool, the association to withers comes almost purely from the dream smp (which doesn't have to be referenced in every single thing the !cc's do (shock horror 😱)) and almost always focuses on changing how pvp mechanics will work (and little else).

Pigs related origins are certainly more on brand but as of yet I haven't seen someone propose something techno will actually find fun or marketable/good content (Based off what he said that one time he joined the server).

But just stating why I don't like the origins and providing no solutions is not going to help anyone so I'm just going to just start by listing origins that have already been taken by other members but seem the most fun:

Starborn

Of course a lot of people get strange about the idea of people sharing origins (despite the fact that Wilbur's already said he wants to limit the amount of origins) and for you I have another suggestion...

The next one is not my own idea but I feel the strong need to advertise. So prepare yourself for a real HOT take,

How about a pheonix?

Yes it's the same pheonix origin I've already ranted about and love dearly (found here (by u/DisquietedStarlight)). (But also how can you not imagine the Bird Bros art, three feathered Bois chilling in the Bird house doin' Bird things)

AND the mod has already been made! I'm not saying it's perfectly good ready to go in the origins smp because I simply can't test it myself (Cries in ps4 user). But it wouldn't be hard to tweak it now it's already made (by u/SecondBit here).

I would already be making my own fan art and spreading Technopheonix propaganda myself if it weren't for the fact I can't come up with a design I like enough and can do consistently.

ummmmmm okay so the sapnap/technoblade parallels show up when you look at how they approach loyalty and bonds, I guess. my special little guy - exactly what it says taller than sapnap - by a LOT. sapnap is a short king (canon, dxd whispered it into my ear as i slept) and techno is Big. kills pets/kills orphans - these two things are on the exact same level in terms of severity

okay going to be serious this time but i wouldn't say either of them lack principles or something because that's just blatantly untrue it's just that sap and techno both come across as people who will prioritize their bonds over principles. well techno doesn't because of the whole anarchist thing but he does. uh.

like like like techno's actions showed this trait in more recent lore with the prison break stream withhhh ranboo, who he's made evident his care for and also ranboo is his friend. from the start of the arc, techno's breaking into the prison because ranboo is in it. sorry rivalsduo but i don't think c!techno gives a shit about dream he's been sitting on the blueprints and making plans but literally the day after ranboo gets arrested he's like guys we need to get into pandora right now immediately. and during the break in/breakout he's clear that he's not leaving w/out ranboo and then theres everything w/ ranboo dying and finding michael. because the other thing techno holds tight to is his word, in this case dream's favor, but while we've yet to see what he'll do when his relationships come into conflict with his promises, the prison break is a case where they both aligned in trajectory (break someone out of the prison) but to me it showed his friendship with ranboo taking priority over the favor.

but i want to talk about bedrock bros.

He’s the first Tubbo Ego. So he’s technically the oldest of all the Tubbos Personality

He monotone, and he really doesn’t show that much emotion. He’s all serious and shit

Speaking of that, he only shows a bit of emotion towards some he loves (like his personality brothers)

Now he LOVES to read the law. he has books on laws, on the judgment system. Government, crime solving, being a lawyer and other lawyery book stuff.

That fucker probably has a secret stash of Domino’s cookies and won’t share them 🙄🙄

He’s also the ‘heaviest’ out of the Tubbo because he eats those cookies DGZGSGSHX

4. Tubbox: he will protect him in all costs, he makes him smile The most. You could say Tubbox is his favorite personality brother.... now he’s just angry. He wants to see him one more time. (10/10)

He’s the best theropiest out there :D

TOOB: he doesn’t like him that much, one time TOOB decided to mess around with his ‘Flavors’.... yeahhh he wasn’t to happy about that (4/10)

Big Law: they have a neutral type of relationship, they barely get in to any fights. He’s actually the only person that Dr.TB can fully understand/work with! (7/10)

Big Crime: now.... he used to be the person that Big crime will go to when he starts to act up.... but, they barely talk anymore dude. After what happened to Tobbox? Yeah, let’s just say Dr.TB was at the verge to end his whole Theropey job because of Big Crime :/ (4/10)

Tubbox: he loves him, he misses him, he hates Techno. He tried to be there for everyone when they lost him.... He wants to see Tubbox. His life was cut to short. Anyways... he was a bit difficult to work with for theropey (9/10)

BIG Crime: do I need to say more? Tubbox LOVES big Crime! he wants to see him smile more!! He wants him to be happy! So... he hangs out with Big Crime more then the other personality. (20/10)
