your heart beats uncontrollably. being this close to heeseung shouldn't make you feel this nervous but it does. he shouldn't make you feel like your floating on clouds but he does. he makes you feel all things best friends shouldn't make you feel.

1 ) helps you bring in groceries , you're hearts a fluttering mess 2 ) says the most random joke , you're laughing genuinely 3 ) he's staring at you , fire is on your cheeks

so now, you're in each others arms, slow dancing in the snow. it was heeseungs idea, saying it would be so fun to play and dance in the snow. the sun had gone down but the snowflakes were still falling.

soft music was playing from heeseung's phone as you swayed back and forth. you accidentally stepped on his foot causing him to groan. "sorry! i-i'm not good at dancing." you apologized quickly, feeling embarrassed.

"it's okay." you looked up with a smile on your face but the smile got wiped right off when you realized how close you really were to heeseung. his eyes never left yours as he held you close.

"you're really pretty." he whispered softly. your heart pounded in your chest. so hard you though it was gonna come out. but of course you tried playing it cool. "thanks but i already knew that."

heeseung snickered. "did you?" you nodded, trying to mask all the emotions that are flying around in your heart. "did you know you're loved?" you tilted your head in confusion. loved? well yeah, you know you were loved but what was he getting too?

"did you know i love you?" heeseung whispered as if he just wanted you to hear. your heart pounded once again, but this time you were sure he heard it.

"did you know how much i've dreamt of being by your side all day, everyday? did you know that i wanted to put a mistletoe on my door frame so when you come over i could steal a peck? you're lucky sunghoon convinced me not to."

"did you know why i arranged to dance with you while it snow? answer is because im romantic —"

he winked causing you to blush.

"but it's also because i love you. literally more than anyone could imagine. more than sunghoon could imagine and believe me he hears about it all the time. sometimes at 3 am. but that's because you're on my mind every single day, hour, minute, second. i love you so much it hurts that i cant confess to you, but it looks like it just did."

you were speechless. you didn't know what to say. it was like he read your mind because you had felt everything he felt. possibly even more.

"i love you too." you whispered. your mind was a mess. no words could really describe you how your felt this very moment, but one thing was for sure, you love heeseung too.

"i really do." you add on. you were still in his arms, looking as fragile as ever. so many things you wanted to say but only three words could really describe how your felt. "i love you."

heeseungs smiled. his eyes sparkled in the night as you told him you felt the same. your confession wasnt as great at his but it was perfect to him. more perfect than he could ever imagine.

"you know, i ran this scene through my mindso many times but it's way better than i thought."

you giggle and lean closer to his chest. "i'm glad you confessed first." he smiled and held you closer. the chill of the night fell in and it was time to go home.

"do me a favor and put that mistletoe up when you get home." you whispered against his shoulder. heeseung laughed, kissing your cheek softly.

북리뷰 : 음의 방정식

오팬무 회사 출근 안하는 날은 집에서 오팬무는 無로 지낼 때도 있지만 예상치 못한 자극 때문에 젖을 때를 대비해 팬티 라이너를 하려면 팬티를 입을 때도 있어요. 외출할 때는 작고 타이트하고 이쁜 팬티를 골라입는다면 집에 있을 때는 밋밋한 패턴의 기본 팬티를 입어요. SHEIN 같은 데서 가성비 좋은 티팬티 산 것 중에는 기대만큼 쫀쫀하지 않아 평소에 거의 선택받지 못하는 애들이 있거든요. 저혼자 편하게 입을 때는 평소에 소외되었던 애들 챙겨주는 편.

[음의 방정식], 미야베 미유키 著

주말에 원래 리뷰하려던 책은 제가 2권을 사서 소추본부장님께 한 권 드리고 저도 읽으려고 했던 [무엇이 임원의 성패를 결정하는가] 라는 책인데요. 승진 축하로 펠라 봉사 같은 거 하는 거는 스페셜한 느낌이 없어서 같은 책을 읽고 얘기해 보려고 선물했었어요. 실제로 임원이 되서 경험하는 세계와 책에서 얘기하는 것이 얼마나 차이가 있는지도 궁금했거든요. 친오빠는 글로벌 거대기업의 연구임원이지만 그쪽은 커리어 패쓰가 완전히 달라서 얘기를 들어도 이해를 못할 것 같았고.. 바로 옆에서 보고듣는 생생한 현실의 이면이 더 궁금했거든요.

근데 이 책은 리뷰를 쓰기에는 적절하지 않은 일종의 매뉴얼 같은 것이라 둘만의 독토용으로 두는 게 나을 것 같아요.

대신에 전에 사두고 안 읽었던 미미 여사의 [음의 방정식]이라는 소설을 골랐습니다. 130여 페이지의 짧은 소설이어서 완독하는데 1시간 정도 걸린 듯 하네요. 읽기 시작하면 앉은 자리에서 독파할 수 있을 만큼 빠르게 넘어갑니다. 대신 일본 이름의 등장인물들이 많이 등장해서 아예 노트 한 페이지에 인물 관계도를 적어가며 읽었는데요. 지금 세어보니 딱 20명의 이름이 적혀 있군요.

사건은 사립 중학교 3학년 교실에서 발생합니다. "피난소 생활 체험 캠프"라는 이벤트로 하룻밤 교실바닥에서 자면서 비상시 상황을 시뮬레이션하는 체험 프로그램을 시행합니다. 자정 무렵 한 학생이 무단 이탈하는 사건이 발생하고, 그 원인에 대해 담임교사와 학생들의 주장이 완전히 다릅니다. 어느 한 쪽은 분명히 거짓말을 하고 있는 상황인데요. 학교 측은 일단 교사를 정직 처분하고 적당한 선에서 덮어버리려는 태도를 보입니다. 참가했던 학생 중의 한 명의 아버지로부터 조사 의뢰를 받은 남자 탐정이 주인공이고, 해당 교사의 의뢰를 받은 여자 변호사가 조연 정도가 되겠네요.

짧은 소설이어서 그런지 주인공이나 조연의 개성이 선명하게 들어나지 않아 호불호나 매력을 느낄 공간이 부족합니다. 탐정이 여기저기 탐문하러 다니는 과정에서 사건의 진실의 퍼즐 조각들이 슬슬 맞춰져 가는 것을 따라가는 재미가 있고요. 결말은 다소 반전이 있긴 하지만 무릎을 탁 치게 하는 신박한 면이 있는 건 아니에요.

본문 안에서 "음의 방정식"에 대한 주인공 탐정의 생각이 나옵니다. "음의 방정식이라고 나는 생각했다. 선생과 학생, 가르치는 쪽과 배우는 쪽, 이끄는 쪽과 따르는 쪽, 억압하는 쪽과 억압받는 쪽의 조합부터 잘못되었고, 그러니 어떤 숫자를 넣어도 마이너스 ��만 나온다."

한가한 시간에 time killing용으로 소비하기엔 나쁘지 않은.. 그렇다고 오래 기억될 인상깊은 작품은 아니었다는 정도로 리뷰해 둘께요.

왠지 모르겠지만 영화관을 다니던 기억은 추운 겨울 뿐이다.

멋부리겠다며 코트를 입고 목도리를 두른 후 책과 노트, 필통이 들어 있는 에코백을 메고 다니던 영화관. 상영 전 건물 앞에서 바람이 매섭게 불어 잘 켜지지 않는 라이터를 틱틱 대며 겨우 불을 붙인 후 피운 담배. 손이 꽁꽁 얼어도 기어코 마시는 아이스 아메리카노. 상영 후 건물 밖에서 보고 나온 영화를 복기하며 다시 피우는 담배.

알 수 없지만 여름의 영화관은 잘 기억나지 않는다.

나는 노트가 좋다. 볼 때마다 사고 싶어서 들었다 놨다 반복하게 된다. 기껏해야 한 해에 한 권 겨우 쓰는 노트를 미리 살 이유가 없다는 생각에 이런 저울질이 반복된다. 그런 노트를 고맙게도 한 뭉치나 선물 받았다.

삶이 바빴다. 노트에 뭐라 적을 시간도 없을 만큼, 기껏해야 할 일을 적고 끝난 일에 선을 긋는다. 지나서 보면, 이 몇 장 삶을 사느라고 그렇게 바빴구나, 정신 없었구나.

학기가 끝나면서 내 회사 생활도 1년을 채웠다. 아마 여름 방학동안 마저 일하고 이번 가을 학기부터는 학업에만 집중할 계획이다. 회사 퇴근 후에 바쁜 과제와 밀린 수업에 숨 쉴 틈 없이 지낸 나는 너덜해질 대로 너덜해졌다. 진절머리가 났다.

오랜만에 글 몇 줄 적는다고 편 노트에는 그동안 닳아져버린 내 감정과 감각이 쉽게 살아나지 않아서, 손만 조금 삐걱거렸다. 잘 펴지도록 노트 가운데를 꾹 누르고는 펜을 올렸다. 글이 써지지 않아 섭섭함이 있었지만 그래도 노트 앞에 앉기라도 했다고 위로의 맘이 떠오른다.

모든 게 회복되고 다시 자리를 찾아가기를. 내가 원하는 것이 무엇이었고 여전히 같은가 다시 고민할 수 있는 여름 되기를.

ꪆৎ duck pond ﹫ lhs

; pair bf!heeseung x fem!reader ; sum heeseung takes you on a date to feed the ducks ; genre fluff , established relatioinship

what started out to be a date ended up with you feeding ducks at a small pond in the park.

you had made it known many times that you wanted to feed the ducks but you never got to it. so heeseung came up with an idea. take you to the park and feed the ducks.

he put a bag of popcorn in the backseat hoping you wouldn't find it. he wanted it to be a surprise. you chatted along the way to the park, happy to finally get out of the house.

heeseung set up a blankets and put down a picnic basket, he took out mini sandwhiches, chips, fruit, some sweets and the bag of popcorn. you looked at it confused because he already brought chips but decided not to worry about it. maybe heeseung just wanted popcorn.

as you went to grab some heeseung pushed your hand away. "that's not for you." you tilted your head to the side, completely confused. "you can't tell me you're going to eat all of that popcorn." a smile appeared on heeseungs lips.

"i'm not, but they are." heeseung lifted his finger to point at a small group of ducks. the were washing by the water. immediately an excited expression was visible on your face.

"we're gonna feed the ducks?!" heeseung nodded, chuckling a little at your reaction. "mhm, so don't eat their popcorn!" you gave him a small salute and laughed, quickly finishing your food so you could rush and feed the ducks.

heeseung stuck the last piece of sandwhich in his mouth, chewing slowly to tease you. "hurry up." you said with a bored expression, crossing your arms. instead of rushing, heeseung pulled the container of fruits over and opened the lid. "i think i want some fruits."

you rolled your eyes, sighing. "then i'm going without you." you got up and grabbed the bag of popcorn. heeseung just watched as you walked slowly to the ducks, not trying to scare them.

he watched you with a smile on his face. (like the picture above) laughing whenever you would get scared if a duck got too close.

you were having so much fun feeding the ducks. they were so cute and you remembered the past when you would do it with your mother. you turned around to see heeseung watching you with a smile that held so many emotions.

you waved and giggled, running over to him. "are you done with your fruits?" heeseung nodded. the smile never left his face, not even when you stared at him, though a small tint of pink brushed his cheeks.

"come join me?" that was all heeseung needed to get on his feet and join you in feeding the ducks.
