was thinking about fix-it fics where time travel shenanigans mean naruto gets to meet minato but how those never hit juuuust right with me because it's always pre-naruto minato who is in his early 20s and hasn't sufficiently cultivated a dadsona...... but hear me out. alt timeline minato crashes into canon timeline. au!minato lost both kushina AND baby naruto in the kyuubi attack. canon!naruto is like 7-8.
naruto: (is his son, and basically a tiny kushina, and is being neglected and mistreated)
minato: hi yeah i'm going to act SO insane about this <3

Tumblr media
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
He looks at you the way he looks at ramen. Naruto is intense with his love for you. He is an obsessive and delusional type of Yandere. He knows everything about you and wants to shower you with as many gifts as he can afford. Whenever he gets some pocket money, he’s spending it on you right away.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
He doesn’t want to spill any blood, so instead, he’ll spread rumors about you, making sure that those rumors can’t be traced back to him in case you start digging for answers about where the STD rumor came from. He’s also going to manipulate you and other men in the village. Don’t worry, though. If you’re feeling lonely, he’ll be right there with a hand on your shoulder and a comforting smile.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
He just wants to do what’s best for you. Naruto is going to be focused on making sure you know how much he loves you. It gets to a point where you feel smothered. His intention isn’t to mock you, but you feel as though his constant smile is taunting you. You feel helpless, hopeless as you’re held captive by the jinchuriki. His happiness is what you feel mocks you because you’ll never feel the same way.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
He’ll break into your apartment and steal your underwear. He likes to wrestle with you, even when you don’t want to, just so he can pin you down and show you how much stronger he is than you are. It’s his way of saying, “Look at how strong I am. You can feel safe with me. I’ll always protect you.”
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
Yo, this guy will not shut the fuck up once he feels comfortable enough to tell you about his painful past or his feelings for you. Everything he says has passionate intent behind it. You can bet you’ll be zoning out at some point because of the rant he’ll go on.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
He honestly believes you love him, so he takes your fighting as just “having a bad day”. You’re just throwing a tantrum because the new living situation is a hard adjustment for you. He won’t believe a word you say when you throw your plate of food at the wall and tell you that you hate him. It’s okay. He’s there to pick you up in a hug and hold you down closely until you’re calm.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Bitch, you gon meet Kurama if you run for long enough. He will go through a list of emotions. First, he’ll try to reason with you. “Okay, maybe she just needs to go outside for some sunshine. She’ll be back soon.” When night falls and you’re not back yet, he’s beginning to worry. There’s a nagging feeling pinching the back of his mind. Then, he’s determined to do whatever it takes to find you. He’s using every kind of chakra and jutsu that will help him find you. Hell, he’ll bring out the fucking toads if he has to. Don’t worry, though. He’s not going to think you ran away. You just got lost.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
His constant love is your hell. With the gifts piling up, with all of the compliments he gives you, with the way he says a million things to you with a simple look of adoration, you feel like you’re being strangled. You just want some room to breathe, room that he doesn’t feel like giving you.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
Naruto isn’t able to see too far into the future. His goal is to be Hokage, but that’s all he really sees in the future besides you right next to him. Naruto doesn’t really see a big house with kids in the front yard. He just sees you with him and his face plastered on the wall of Hokages.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
He gets jealous. He burns with rage. However, he’ll take it out by beating on a tree or sulking around with his bottom lip poking out. Maybe, he’ll even indulge in some ramen. He’ll swoop in if he notices the conversation going on too long. Looping an arm around your waist, he’ll look at you lovingly and say, “Baby, we should get going. We have a surprise date to get to.” While you’re not looking, he’ll flip the guy off behind your back as you two walk away.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
He dotes on you. Kisses, hugs, you name it, you’re getting it. He knows exactly what you like from stalking you for so long. That’s why his presents always make you so excited. He’s a man who actually pays attention to your interests.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
With his stalking, he knows your schedule. Wherever you are, he’s there, but he’s hiding, watching you from the shadows. You never notice him. That is until he feels comfortable enough one day to approach you with flowers. With a shy smile, he’s thrusting them towards you while rubbing the back of his neck. “Here you go.” Surprisingly delighted, you tell him that they’re your favorite. WHAT A COINCIDENCE! HE HAD NOOOOO IDEA. ZERO CLUE. You two start chatting, and then he’s walking you home. It’s the perfect interaction to get to know him, and soon enough, you’re seeing more of him, greeting him with smiles.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
So, we know that Naruto has two faces from the show. When he’s alone, and I mean alone and lonely, he feels a twinge of sadness nag at him. When he’s around other people, he’s the loud mouth of the village. He wants to be someone that people can look at and see that he’s their hero with a smile. He wants to be your hero, he wants to let you know that he’ll be there for you with a smile. Sometimes, you’ll see him alone with a frown, but as soon as he notices you’re there, he immediately smiles. However, he’ll use his past to guilt you once he gets more comfortable with you, showing you just how much turmoil he’s in. Years of abandonment will do that to a person.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
No physical punishments. Count those out because he loves you too much. He is neither a sadist nor someone who would feel the need to hurt you as a reprimand. He’ll lightly scold you, he’ll even try to manipulate you, but that’s about it.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Naruto thinks you’re spending too much time alone. You went to the bathroom and shut the door for one minute. He’s taking the door off. Your privacy is the first thing to go. Next, he’s trying to tell you that you need to be home more often because he misses you. He’s great at guilt tripping, so he ends up making you feel so terribly that you have no choice but to spend more time with him. Before you know it, your social life is destroyed, and Naruto is the only person left in your life. However, he doesn’t mind! He’ll always be there for you. He will ALWAYS be RIGHT THERE for you.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
He’s impulsive. He can’t help it. He’ll jump to conclusions if he feels like something is off even in the slightest. He’ll probably end up doing something really stupid as well.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
Oh God, if you were to die, that would be the straw that broke the camel’s back. He would not be able to move on, even if you told him he could. You can try to escape, but there’s a large chance you won’t be able to. Even Sasuke couldn’t escape Naruto. Do you really think you’d have a better chance than Sasuke?
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Naruto can’t regret something you were willing to do. You willingly moved in with him. You willingly sleep in his arms every night. You willingly shower with him, or at least he thinks it’s all consensual.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Definitely his painful childhood. The village hated him for something that he had no control over. They kicked him like a puppy, but he would just get back up and yell in their face. He never lost sight of his goal, however. He always dreamed of finally not being invisible. A little boy who fulfilled his dream. At heart, he’s still that hurt little boy. He needs love, and so he goes to you for that. Not necessarily like a mother would comfort her child, but just an equal for him to rest his shoulder and cry on.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
He hates it. Doesn’t understand it. Will definitely hold you until you’re no longer crying, even if you just want to be far away from him. He won’t let you isolate yourself because you can’t lock yourself in a room with no doors.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
He’s not willing to kill anyone. His value is to reach peace without violence. That’s his nindo. He’s sticking to that, even with thoughts of you in mind. Even when he’s so jealous or sees another man look at you, he won’t kill them.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
We already talked about escaping, but you could use his delusions to your advantage. You could easily manipulate him by making him think you love him. It wouldn’t even take that long. He already believes you love him, but if you were to really play the role of a lover instead of a victim, you’d have him wrapped around your finger.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Not intentionally. He grasps onto your wrist hard enough to leave bruises. That’s okay! It’s a sign of how much he wants you to stay with him. Don’t worry. He’ll never raise a hand to you. The most physical it’s going to get is him pinning you down or holding you on his lap. No matter how much you slap, shove, or scratch at him, he’s taking it all in silence, not letting himself express any ounce of pain. You’re just in one of your moods he’ll tell himself.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
He is a worshipper. He’s obsessed with you, everything about you. He must know you from your favorite food to the type of panties you like to wear. He’ll run his hands all over your body with such loving tenderness, treating you like the goddess that you are to him. You made his life so much better, so much happier. This is the least he could do for you.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
Naruto is an over thinker. If he doesn’t jump in soon, someone else might sweep you off your feet. He can’t have that. You need to understand that you and him are in this together forever. He’s already decided that. It’s that decision that leads him to snap not long after he meets you. Think about it this way: he sees you like ramen, and he needs to get to Ichiraku’s before all the ramen is gone. Starting to get the picture?
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Since Naruto is not a sadist, he feels as though there would be no benefit from breaking you. Why would he want a lifeless doll? Breaking you isn’t even something he thinks about. No matter how hard you fight him, he doesn’t mind. He’ll just lovingly hold you until you calm down. He’ll never raise a hand to you or punish you with a jutsu. He’ll never starve you or try to brainwash you into Stockholm Syndrome. Hell, he’s not even willing to chain you up no matter how many times you run away. He treats you with love and kindness, it’s special and tender. It’s the only way he’d ever treat you.

AU. What if Rin survived Kakashi's Chidori, but Obito thinks she died, and he went and became a mysterious Vigilante, hunting down evildoers, on the side of doing Madara's bidding, but Obito still retains his skepticism of the plan but still goes along with it because he's got nothing left to lose. Obito would become a ghost story to the Leaf, and Minato and Kakashi try to capture him once but fail. What would your headcanons be for this AU?
Before I can provide my thoughts here, where is Rin?? HEADCANONS BELOW!
Edit: (30/04/2023)
As you've mentioned in the replies below:
-She (Rin) is being trained by Tsunade, having survived thanks to Isobu. She has become close to Isobu in the weeks following her becoming a Jinchuriki. Isobu offers support and wisdom to her and helps her harness his power. She does go on missions with Kakashi and Minato. And she has realized that she only had a crush on Kakashi, but she started to realize that she felt something stronger for Obito.*
*My take on said feelings for Obito would be after Kakashi revealed to her in the Kannabi mission that he was going to abandon her while Obito was willing to save her. For the longest time ever since she returned and survived as a Jinchuuriki, Obito was all that she could think about as the person who cared for her the most in her life and did everything out of his love. She yearns for him, regrets her selfishness, and always goes to his "grave" to talk to him. -And by this point Obito will have killed hundreds of people, so he is no longer the same person he used to be and he's started to hate himself because of it.*
*Obito would only reluctantly go with Madara's plans because he has no other purpose, while terrorizing evil-doers at the same time as you mentioned. But the one reason that makes Madara's plans take so long to accomplish is because RIN is a Jinchuuriki, and he doesn't want to stand in the way of her living her life now that she's alive. So, every time Rin and Obito cross paths, Rin would think he's a villain and attack him, but Obito does nothing other than defend himself without landing a scratch on her. This makes Rin grow suspicious and in turn, more curious about the mysterious masked man. Ironically, Obito seems to not mind attacking Kakashi and Minato aggressively, while sparing Rin.
And since you mentioned in the replies below that Obito would be aware but is reluctant to return because he feels he doesn't deserve it at all, and Team Minato hunts him down - so here's my take on the the one way they'd find out who Obito is eventually is of the following: *Obito leaves clues about himself - the first major clue is his refusal to attack Rin and how he is quick to disappear whenever she thinks she has gotten closer to him.
*The second clue is Kakashi's dogs; Kakashi would manage to tear Obito's sleeve and obtain a piece of cloth from him, and utilize his dogs to find clues about him. Pakkun would somehow relate the scent on his cloth into an item from Obito's former house in the Uchiha District, or from the dirt in the cemetery. Why his grave soil? Because Obito tends to hang around the cemetery, listening to Rin talking to him by his grave. His shoes would leave a clue. *The next clue is when Rin is attacked by the Akatsuki; and it would be a coincidence in which Rin just happened to be in their line of sight, so the Akatsuki members would take advantage of having the 3-tails right between their palms, and Obito would then intercept secretly and save her by sucking her into his Kamui dimension, then take her to a safe place far away.
Here, Rin would demand to know who he is and why he keeps saving her, and Obito tries to get away but Rin utilizes her 3-tails chakra to injure him quickly, since Obito dropped his guard around her.
She then attacks him, and one blow from a kick infused with her bijuu chakra could break half of the mask, but this time Obito no longer defends himself and decides to throw her off and incapacitate her with his Wood Release; and threatens her menacingly to stop pursuing him or he'll kill her. He immediately knocks her out and teleports her back to where her team is. Rin then tells them everything. Team Minato realizes that the one way to grab the masked man's attention is by bait, and the best way is using a Jinchuuriki. Since Rin cannot be used as a bait, Naruto convinces his father and Kakashi to let him help them find out who the mysterious masked man is. Minato and Kushina were very reluctant, but Naruto said that nothing can hurt Kurama even if they tried, and so they've developed a team powerful enough to trap Obito.
Naruto would be the one to tear off the mask similar to how he did it in the 4th shinobi world war.
Team Minato would only fall into complete shock, especially Kakashi who gets shaken up and starts trembling and breathing heavily, and Rin, who cannot believe her eyes, fearlessly gets closer to him despite trembling. Rin would allow her anger to leak out as she screams at him, demanding answers from him, but Obito only looks at her with a solemn smile, steps closer to her, caresses her cheek, freezing her in her spot as he says, "I was there. I know everything." Then his hand would slip from her cheek and he would press his palm to her chest, where her drumming heart is, and say, "Ever since that day, the Obito that you knew all your life... died along with you."

The many similarities between Hinata and Kushina (a.k.a. debunking antis' "logic" and "theories" and making them cry big salty tears in defeat for the umpteenth time)
1) Both women have unique hair colors that match their respective personalities:
Kushina has red hair and is a hot-blooded fiery redhead.
Hinata has dark blue hair and is a quiet, initially shy blue-haired girl (this one is anime-only, since, as you and I have discussed before, no one seems to agree on what Hinata's hair color really is).
2) Both women were kidnapped by Kumo ninja when they were younger because of the powers they possessed:
For Kushina, it was because she was the host of the Jinchuriki and thus had unique chakra (Chapter 498).
For Hinata, it was her Byakugan (Chapter 102).
3) Both women fell in love with their husbands because their husbands are nice, good men:
Kushina initially thought Minato was "rather girly and undependable", but she realized she was in love with him specifically because he was nice and good, after he rescued her from the Kumo ninja (Chapter 498).
Hinata has always loved Naruto for being nice and good, considering they first met when he rescued her from three bullies (The Last), and, out of all his friends, she is the only one whom he always treats with respect and kindness, even more so after they develop a real friendship in the Chunin Exams arc in Part 1, because he's always nice to her whenever they're together and he never once berates her for anything (do recall that he has mutual bickering friendships with everyone else in the Konoha 11/Rookie 9, except Hinata).
4) Both women fell in love with their husbands because their husbands changed them for the better, which I pointed out here in my own post.
5) Both women attracted the attentions of their husbands because of their strength:
Minato became smitten with Kushina after he realized she could fight off her bullies without any help (I believe this one is anime-only).
Naruto realizes that, just like him, Hinata is very determined and willful despite being called a failure, fighting against stronger opponents like Neji and Pain and yet never giving up anyways, which causes him to think she's incredible (Chapter 80), and he sports a damn proud smile when he recalls how she defended him against Pain (Chapter 559).
6) Both women are not afraid to sacrifice their lives to protect Naruto because of their love for him, and they were attacked when they stood right in front of him:
Kushina threw herself in front of the Nine-Tails so that its giant claw impaled her instead of baby-Naruto, and then she grabbed the claw to physically stop it from reaching baby-Naruto, before she finally died from completely bleeding out (Chapter 504).
Hinata almost died twice while trying to save Naruto — first when she threw herself in front of Naruto and stood up against Pain, engaging in a fight and managing to push him back before he stabbed her (Chapter 437); second when she threw herself in front of Naruto to save him from Obito's wooden stake, only for Neji to take the hit for her instead (Chapter 614).
7) Both women were bullied as children because of a physical feature of theirs:
For Kushina, it was her round face and red hair (Chapter 498).
For Hinata, it was her Byakugan eyes (The Last).
8) As revealed in The Last, both women enjoy knitting scarves:
Kushina knitted a gray and white bordered scarf, which was left in the care of the Third Hokage upon her death.
Hinata knits a red scarf, which she hopes to give to Naruto as a way to not only confess her feelings again, but to initiate a relationship with him.
9) As already mentioned above, both women fell in love with their husbands in the exact same way — being rescued by them:
Kushina fell in love with Minato after he rescued her from the Kumo ninja who kidnapped her (Chapter 498).
Hinata fell in love with Naruto after he protected her from three bullies on the day they first met, when they were enrolling in the Academy (The Last).
10) The Red String of Fate was utilized in both couples' rescue scenarios:
For Kushina, it was her long red hair. Her spirit tells Naruto that her red hair led her to her soulmate, Minato, because he was the only rescuer who noticed that she had been leaving a trail of her hair (Chapter 498).
For Hinata, it was a red scarf. When they were children, Naruto let her keep his red scarf after he saved her from three bullies, who ruined the scarf. Since then, she has been wanting to give him her own handmade red scarf. When Naruto finally does receive it, it's in tatters due to Toneri destroying it out of jealous spite, but he wholeheartedly accepts it anyways and even tells Hinata, whom he now realizes is his soulmate, that he'll cherish it forever (The Last).
11) Both women are considered very beautiful by their husbands partly because of their long flowing hair:
Minato boldly complimented Kushina's long red hair when he rescued her from the Kumo ninja (Chapter 498), and her hair reaches down to her ankles in the manga (only to her thighs in the anime).
As you and I and other NH fans have pointed out for years, and Kishimoto himself via "The Uzumaki Pure Love Scroll" in "The Last Official Movie Guidebook", Naruto did show signs of subconsciously reciprocating Hinata's love in the second half of Part II, when her hair reaches down to her lower back (Chapter 558 and beyond), and he wholeheartedly reciprocates her love when her hair reaches down to her hips (The Last).
12) Both women are considered amazing chefs by their husbands, as shown by how much both men love their respective wives' cooking:
Minato's favorite food was Kushina's home cooking (the databooks — which, unfortunately, as dubious as they are, are the only source that can be found regarding this).
Naruto says he prefers Hinata's home cooking rather than the cup noodles he's been eating at work lately (Boruto Episode 12), and he boasts to Kawaki that Hinata's home cooking is delicious and tells him to look forward to it (Boruto Chapter 26).
13) Both women passed down their round face and eye shape to their sons:
Kushina points out that Naruto inherited her face (Chapter 498).
Sasuke internally points out that Boruto inherited the "delicate, refined facial features" from Hinata (Boruto the Movie novel Chapter 2).
14) Both women are considered really scary by their sons when they get mad:
Naruto points this out about Kushina (Chapter 498).
Boruto points this out about Hinata (Boruto Episodes 1, 10, 18, and 66) (I admit, I haven't kept up with the anime since the pandemic started, so I'm not sure if there have been other instances, both anime and manga).
TL;DR — Naruto did, in fact, listen to Kushina after all and married a girl like her: Hinata. Hinata has the quiet and nice personality from Minato, and, well, everything else from Kushina.
The end. 🤗

AU starring Team 8 (Concept)
Tumblr media
I honestly think teams 8 and 10 are amazing, and it'd be cool to see a universe where the world and situation is completely different for them. For the Team 8 AU:
We'd get more insight into Kurenai's genjutsu abilities (which feel super understated), and her romance with Asuma.
I like the idea of Orochimaru targeting a Hyuga in this version, with Hiashi being killed and Hanabi believing it was done by a member of the branch family (not sure if it was actually true), and he'd take advantage of her pain in order to train her to be his next vessel. I would've had Neji do it inatead, but unless we're lifting the curse on the branch family that seals the byakugan after their deaths, it wouldn't make sense.
Maybe make Kiba a jinchuriki and Akamaru a more friendly tailed beast, with a relationship similar to their main universe counterparts and Killer Bee with Gyuki. He has a similar enough personality to Naruto for the change to not be too different, albeit with certain alterations. It'd be cool if in this AU, Yashamaru survived and was a positive influence on Gaara, who helps Kiba whenever he gets frustrated and confused with his power, along with Kiba becoming good friends with Kankuro. I was originally gonna keep Naruto as the jinchuriki, but since a lot of Part 2 revolves around that with the Akatsuki, it's not doable--unless Orochimaru is the main villain instead of the Akatsuki. If that's the case… 3.5. If Orochimaru is the main villain, then I'd change the Akatsuki slightly: Itachi would never join it, having never eradicated his clan (who in this version have a rivalry with the Hyuga clan), and Obito would have been an amnesiac becoming Tobi after Zetsu rescues him because he reminds them of Madara Uchiha (who is dead by this time), and they raise him to believe he IS Madara, albeit maintaining the bubbly personality (which isn't fake here).
The training is very different. In this version, Tsunade is Naruto's grandmother by Kushina (I was gonna say Minato, but since her grandmother is an Uzumaki, some may feel like that's too close to home), and makes it her responsibility to train Hinata against her former teammate Orochimaru, giving her stength and healing along with her Hyuga clan abilities. Since Kiba is skilled at taijutsu, it'd be cool if Shino had a bug-like genjutsu along with being skilled at ninjutsu (maybe it's just me being a genjutsu stan).
Kiba interacts with other jinchuriki. In the manga, Naruto only gets to interact with Gaara and Killer Bee since the other jinchuriki are dead, but it'd be cool if at least some of them were alive--or at least allow Kiba to interact with them before their death.

Bringing this up one more time, sorry.
But I feel like whenever someone says they think Naruto and Sasuke should've died together in the end, people automatically assume it's a sad ending.
But it doesn't HAVE to be!!
Naruto and Sasuke both had rough lives, that all of us can agree on. And realistically speaking, they'll have to live with that trauma for the rest of their lives. They have to live with the fact that one's the last survivor of the Uchiha clan while the other is a Jinchuriki. They were shunned from the village, they were harassed, Naruto for one was abused by villagers.
Dying could've been a way for both of them to finally be free of those names and just be souls. Happy souls in the afterlife, living together peacefully.
It may not be the standard happy ending to a series. But it could've been their OWN version of a happy ending. And I think that's beautiful.

Why did Sakura lie to Naruto?
Sai even said himself that he was the one who pushed Sakura into her current mental state and that Sakura acted this way, it was partly his fault.
Sai told Sakura that she was the one who caused Naruto the most suffering. He said that the promise Naruto made to Sakura was a curse for him.
Naruto was in great pain because he couldn't bring Sasuke back from the path of darkness he had chosen. Sakura knew this and Sai half blamed Sakura.
Sakura was deeply affected by this. It saddened her to learn that she was the main cause of Naruto's pain. So I took all the blame on her. She planned to free Naruto from this burden and curse imposed on him. She wanted Naruto to be happy and only have his best interests in mind.
Naruto was really happy when Sakura confessed to him, but he knew, from the start, that Sakura loved and cared about Sasuke deeply. Thus, he knew that Sakura was hiding something from him. He knew that Sakura couldn't stop loving Sasuke so quickly
Notice Naruto's reactions whenever Sakura talks about how Naruto should forget his promise to her and how he should stop chasing Sasuke. “Naruto noticed those feelings that were hidden behind her words” (Data Book 4, Narutos Profile)
Of course Naruto was trying to bring Sasuke back not because of his promise to Sakura, but because he himself wanted to help Sasuke out of the world. But Sai made Sakura think otherwise, so Sakura tried to help lighten Naruto's burden.
Naruto kept asking Sakura what really happened and what she really wanted to say but Sakura didn't tell him because she didn't want to hurt him by telling him that all his friends were planning to kill Sasuke themselves
Read all of these panels carefully. Sakura has made it clear during this "confession" that she just wants Naruto to stop putting himself in danger. She knew that Akatsuki was after him because he was the Jinchuriki if kyuubi and now she doesn't want anyone else to be against Naruto.
So Naruto, you don't have to keep that promise, won't you stop chasing Sasuke....” This shows the true intentions of Sakura, she wanted Naruto to forget that promise he made to her so she could get rid of it. She wanted Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke so that he wouldn't Naruto takes any more danger and relieves his pain.
I told him how Sasuke had changed and it wasn't the Sasuke they knew. I told her that Sasuke is a criminal now so you should prepare him for whatever he's going to do to Sasuke. Sakura was willing to put up with Naruto's hatred if it meant she could keep him out of danger.
.
.
.
.
Sakura's fans are ready to blame Sai for covering up Sakura's foolish actions and mistakes. Also, she should have told him the truth instead of lying more, also at that time she knew that Hinata loved Naruto and ignored this. And also as I see it. She thinks Naruto is ready to do anything for her. And I don't know what Sai has to do with her belief that
So true the fact Sakura consider faking a confession only proves that her choice was more out of guilt rather then not wanting Naruto to be put in danger. Further more Sakura should have know Naruto wanted to get Sasuke back himself and not cause of the promise he made to her, Sakura even previously told Sai that Sasuke was like a brother to Naruto yet as usual her own feelings come first. Add that she did so even after noting how Hinata feels about Naruto only makes it clear Sakura puts herself over her friends.
While Sai does share some blame for making her feel guilty, it was Sakura herself who listened to him, even though she should know Naruto her own teammate after all those years. As you said Sakura didn't need to lie to him, she could have told him the truth and the fact she assumed Naruto would just drop Sasuke cause she confessed is the worse, Naruto has never been someone who abandons a friend. The way she confessed and then brought up Sasuke only shows how insincere her confession was and that it was about Sasuke and not Naruto. She outright tried to manipulate Naruto either with the intention to keep lying to him, or to break his heart after he gave up on Sasuke.

I got this idea from mythological stories and here’s my idea: How would yanderes Naruto, Itachi(Separate) react to the reader having the ability of destruction through dance? Like whenever she dances, destruction just takes place no matter what, like earthquakes begin to happen, it starts thundering and stuff like that
Don’t mind me posting this weeks later but uh yeah here you go!
The ability of destruction is surely an interesting one, but it’s even worse in the Naruto universe because the power scale is intense. It’s not like a quirk where there are drawbacks because there seems to be some power balance in the MHA universe. Again, I feel like there has to be some intent in the power unless you truly don’t have control over it. Villages would probably throw you out and refuse to shelter you. You’d either live in a village where your power isn’t feared (children and elderly) or by yourself. A lot of the time, natural disasters occur as nature intends, but in the extreme moments I think it’s a safety measure. Example, someone hunting you down or bandits are on the move. A simple dance and the mountains caved in due to an earthquake or they were struck down by lighting. I want to say that you have control, just for the sake of these headcanons. Starting off, Naruto!
Naruto
Okay so in all honesty, I think he’d really admire your power. He thinks it’s super cool and unique but then I’m split between the idea of him thinking it’s a silly gift because I mean imagine busting a move mid battle? Hilarious. I think the sound of it is funny to him but once he sees it in action, he’d shut up real quick. After a while of seeing your ability, he’d enjoy it. It’s such a more peaceful method, destructive powers are spooky but there is some beauty in the presentation. The way your body gracefully moves without a care in the world as rain gathers and pours, lighting strikes, mountains move, etc.
He’d probably encounter you via a mission or just saw a dancing lady mid adventure and decided to stray off the path to get a better view. As for the yandere part, I haven’t made headcanons for him but he wouldn’t be that rough. In fact, if anything he’d do what he can to protect you or defend you, clear up your name if anything occurred, stand up for you, etc. He’d probably be the type to seclude you if they sent shinobi after you, keeping you safe, or even lying and say you’re being followed and that they’re going to catch up to you if you don’t stay with him and continue moving.
Itachi
He’d either see you dance and witness the destruction himself or the Akatsuki would have sent him after you. Yeah, you’re not a jinchuriki like Naruto and the others but you are strong and having someone on their team like you would benefit them a lot more. So they send Itachi after you. He’d enjoy your power, again it’s such a graceful method despite the effects. He’d probably try to find some poetic meaning behind it ngl. Same with Naruto, he’d protect you if others hunted you, do everything he can to ensure your survival but at the start he wouldn’t say much or reveal his thoughts. He’s really good at concealing them.
To some extent, idk why but I like to imagine the reader as being someone who has been a rogue villager or something. Choosing to either leave their village because they didn’t want to bring them indirect harm to them or being a villain. Imagine him understanding the idea of self sacrifice or just the idea of him realizing you’re unhinged, for whatever reason you mean to harm others and you’re content with waiting. Waiting for the perfect chance to strike. I don’t know tbh, they’re just thoughts.

wait here's a different way the end of the chunin exams in iwa could go
team 4 still does the same stuff: iwa grabs kushina, kushina yeets tori away. tori runs off to get itachi and deidara; the team then splits up to grab both kushina and ibiki. rn i'm thinking tori-deidara go for ibiki. tori wants to go to kushina but itachi is like "no, you're the ONLY one who can do the transportation jutsu for our mission" so the compromise is he goes after kushina. deidara ends up with tori because she needs extra muscle more, even though deidara would be better at FINDING kushina bc he knows iwa better. instead he just sort of points itachi in a direction.
tori by herself can do the transportation jutsu but it will be rougher when executed solo. she deems ibiki's physical condition too poor to risk it. they get him on a bird and fly out.
okay, so, my original idea was itachi finds a half-conscious kushina and gets her out of the village on foot. this is an insane feat he accomplishes with "massive genjutsu means no one notices for a hot second" no jutsu. iwa eventually realizes they've lost their very impotant hostage, which means they are screwed. they decide to blow up the problem to hide evidence (this will look BAD for them but no evidence means they can claim team 4 started it, which is less bad PR than what they actually did getting out). team 4 gets a fight, kushina recovers quickly enough itachi is like what the fuck, ma'am, and they flee into the night safe and sound.
i think i will keep this as ""canon"" bc it lets team 4 have thier moments. but here's a fun little alt au ending feat. minato:
okay, so, in the minato one shot we see kushina summon chains that aren't attached to her body. so i was thinking it'd be cute if minato had a necklace or bracelet made from one of her chains. it's also a ~kushina's health~ indicator: the chain with break/evaporate if she runs low on chakra (which would ONLY happen in a dire situation), or she can undo it herself if she needs to summon him. remember, her jinchuriki seal has a hiraishin integrated into it, so minato can go to her whenever he wants. minato spends a lot of time fiddle with his chain and sighing wistfully when she's out of the village.
then one day, the chain breaks. minato doesn't even think about it; he's by her side 0.2 seconds later. and then.... fuck it i just wrote it lol
****
Kushina was slumped over Uchiha Itachi’s shoulders. Itachi retaliated the second he felt a presence behind him. Minato dispelled all three layers of the genjutsu, knocked the short sword out of his hand, picked up his wife, and shoved Itachi away.
His goal was to get Itachi away from him for long enough to orient himself. If he’d bothered to watch him, he’d get to watch Itachi’s reaction to being pushed around like a child: confusion mixed with a little bit of terror.
Sagged over in his arms, Kushina’s eyes were unfocused and her face was clammy with a cold sweat. He’d never seen her like this before.
“M’nato?” she slurred, and Minato felt a wave of relief at the sound of her voice. “Feel like shit.”
If she was talking, she was going to be okay. Minato shifted her, pulling her into a princess carry. Kushina’s head rolled against his chest, and Minato felt a stab of worry. Kushina was a live, but what the fuck had they done to her?
“Hokage-sama?” Itachi asked, voice wary. He had not moved to retrieve his sword. He didn’t need it; all five Iwa-nin in the room were already dead. Minato must have crashed his rescue attempt.
“You have permission to approach,” Minato told him. “What happened?”
Itachi gave him the succintest of summaries: Kushina and Tori had been intercepted while attempting to retrieve Morino Ibiki. Kushina had gotten Tori out, and Tori had gone for back-up. Itachi had then found Kushina here, in an underground detention facility. Tori reported Kushina as having chakra-poisoning. It was unclear if Iwa suspected them of their own betrayal of their agreement, or if their attack had unrelated motives. Minato thought the latter: there was only one known chakra toxin that could poison someone enough to take out someone like Kushina, and it was extremely difficult to synthesize. This had been planned.
Minato felt a flash of rage. All that posturing about how he was the dangerous one, how he was the one who might unjustly destroy Iwa’s security, and this is what they did?
“Okay,” Minato said, very carefully keeping his voice level. “I’ll handle it.”
“Sir?” Itachi replied. “Handle which part?”
“Hold this,” Minato said, and handed him a kunai.
Minato teleported Kushina back to Konoha and left her with a medic. “Fuck ‘em up, dawling,” she told him, patting a random part of his face. Then he stopped briefly at home to grab weapons. Then, approximately three minutes after he’d left him, he went back to Itachi.
Itachi, for once in his life, seemed to be at a loss for words.
“Do you know how to get out of here?” Minato asked.
Itachi led him down a hallway, up some stairs, and then down another hallway, passing zoned out Iwa-nin after Iwa-nin staring at the walls or passed out on the floor in the wake of Itachi’s genjutsu. Minato paused a couple times to draw Hiraishin markers, just in case. Itachi waited for him without comment.
“Do you know which way the Tsuchikage’s office is?” Minato asked once they were on the ground floor and he could see sunlight through a window. “I’d like to talk to him.”
“I believe it’s towards the mountains,” Itachi said, “although he might be overseeing events related to the exam.”
Minato hummed.
“What would you like me to do?” Itachi asked when they reached the front doors of the building.
“Go find your team, please,” Minato told him. “Keep that kunai on you.”
Minato tossed a kunai out the door, and then he was off.
Iwa was prettier than Minato thought it would be. Red mountains towered above them, and the sky felt closer and more open than it did anywhere in Fire Country. Most of the buildings were grand old things, tall and narrow and brushing up against each other with pointed roofs. The roofs were steep; not convenient for ninja travel. The ninja here all went underground when they wanted to be quick and avoid civilians.
The narrow streets were crowded, people all herded together as they spilled out of the stadium. This didn’t particularly bother Minato; most of them were civilians who didn’t even notice him pass by, one kunai throw after the other.
The administration building, when he found it, was carved into the mountainside. This was a really impressive use of earth ninjutsu, he would admit.
There was a sign that said the building was closed to the public today, due to the chunin exams. Minato painted another hiraishin marker under it.
Lucky me, he thought as his hand moved in quick, practiced strokes. He usually tried very hard not to kill civilians.
No one expected him, despite the audacity of kidnapping his wife.
“Excuse me,” he said to the kunoichi at the front desk. “Where is the Tsuchikage’s office?”
“He’s not taking visitors today,” she started, voice sharp and annoyed. Her eyes met his. Confusion flashed across her face. Minato smiled, charming. Confusion drained into horror.
“That’s a shame,” Minato replied, and then she was dead.
The building was fully staffed. Chunin exams took a lot of extra hours from admin behind the scenes, and ninja missions never stopped. Minato picked people off, one by one, as he moved through the building. The Kage’s office was usually at the top, right? They didn’t have intel on Iwa, but that’s where everyone else’s were…
He was quick enough no one had realized what was happening and mounted a counter until he was on floor six. He wasn’t really sure if it was people trying to leave or fight back, but either way they all ended up dead. The entire hallway was sticky with blood, his sandals making that annoying squelching noise as he walked.
I guess this is why no one ever invites me to their villages, Minato thought. Hiruzen had visited both Suna and Kiri for Chunin Exams. Minato always got a polite note suggesting he send a representative. He was kind of jealous, actually. Minato liked travel and meeting new people. All they had to do was not kidnap his wife and he’d be happy to play nice and not leave hiraishin markers places.
Oonoki was seated behind his desk, a wall of Iwa ANBU in front of him. Cute. Minato dispatched them in the span of an inhale of breath.
“Hi,” Minato said, standing in front of Oonoki’s desk. “I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Namikaze Minato, Hokage of Konoha.”
To his credit, Oonoki did not cower. He did not bother with a useless attack. He met Minato’s eyes, gaze steely.
“Killing me would be an act of war,” Oonoki said grimly.
Minato raised his eyebrows. “Sure,” he agreed. He leaned forward, letting just a little bit of killing intent out to punctuate his words. ”And so would attacking and kidnapping my wife.”
Oonoki stayed silent. Minato reeled himself back in.
“Here’s what we’re going to do,” Minato said, uncapping another bottle of ink. He went to work drawing a Hiraishin marker on the Tsuchikage’s desk. “I am going to go get my shinobi. I’m going to kill whoever I want along the way. Then I will leave, and we won’t have to talk about this ever again.”
Minato leaned forward, grasping Oonoki’s chin in his hand. It was scratchy with the scraggly hairs of an old man’s thinning beard. Oonoki did nothing to resist him tilting his head back, pride keeping his gaze hard.
“And you,” Minato continued, pressing his brush to the man’s forehead to draw one last marker, “will do nothing. No declaration of war. No retaliation on Konoha or Fire Country. Got it?”
He pulled his hand back, letting Oonki go. He pocketed the brush. The wet ink of the hiraishin marker glimmered on the old man’s face, a new permanent fixture to his skin.
“Do you understand?” Minato reiterated. “Say it.”
There was a long silence, stretching on and on between them. Minato kept eye contact, smile pleasant.
“I understand,” Oonoki said.
“Excellent,” MInato replied. “Glad we’re on the same page.”
He teleported to the marker he’d given Itachi.
Team 4 was currently in Ibiki’s holding cell, having an argument. There was an incredible amount of blood everywhere, considering there was only one dead Iwa-nin in there with them. Ibiki himself was sat against the wall, emaciated with two black eyes. New scars decorated his scalp. He watched Team 4 with what was either exhaustion or intense judgment. Horrific evidence of torture aside, his expression perked up when he noticed Minato.
“No, I can’t do the jutsu solo if you want him to not get brain damage,” Tori was saying, jabbing her finger aggressively into Itachi’s chest. “Either summon the Hokage back or–”
“Hey,” Minato interrupted, and Tori basically jumped out of her skin.
“Jesus FUCK–”
“I’ll take him back,” Minato announced, and ninety seconds later, Ibiki was in his prepared hospital room and Minato was back in the holding cell.
“Um,” Tori said.
“What the fuck?” Deidara said.
“Oh wow,” Minato said, having noticed the blood splattered on one wall had been painted into words: Can you find them all? with a hiraishin marker below. “Tori, this is mean.”
Funny. But mean.
The look Tori gave him was vaguely affronted.
“What’s our exit plan?” Itachi asked. “Are we also teleporting?”
Minato spun a kunai around his finger casually. “I can take you home first,” he said. “But thought I’d walk.”

D-do you have anymore "old team 7 as the founders kids" thoughts?? 🥺
Oh boy, you just set off a bomb. I have so so SO many thoughts on this AU, different variations of it, entire fics outlined that I've never gotten around to writing lol. This has been an AU of mine for a very long time.
I'll give you a few tidbits:
- Rin and her mom (Mito) are both jinchuriki and share a very strong bond because of it. I think it also says in a databook somewhere that Rin likes to collect shells- so maybe she took it up after visiting Mito's fam in Uzushio one summer. :)
- Hashirama built Rin the absolute mother of all tree houses and it's become "their spot" to spend quality time together whenever hsrm's free. (Which is more often than one might think- the man is constantly leaving clones in the office and ditching to hang out with his kid lol. Tbrm regrets inventing that one every day)
- Rin&Obito are best friends and it chokes hsrm&madara up seeing their kids (who look just like them, ironically) Senju and Uchiha, coming together and living peacefully in Konoha.
- one day, Obito hears Madara bitterly say that "no Uchiha will ever be elected Hokage." He declares right then and there that he will become Hokage no matter what it takes. Madara calls him foolish but secretly supports him in his endeavor.
- obito's grandma (Madara's mom) lives with them and she is the ONE person on planet earth who can chew Madara out and live to tell the tale. Madara will say some disrespectful arrogant shit and WHAM, cane to the head. Madara just sits there like an angry wet cat, it's a magnificent sight to behold. Hsrm pisses his pants the first time he witnesses it.
- i don't have much for Kakashi because every event that makes his character who he is doesn't come to pass in this AU. One things for certain though, he's 100% a contrarian, smart ass little shit (gets it from his dad). When Tobirama offers him his snow leopard summons, Kakashi goes out of his way to form a contract with dogs. Just because, lmao. Tbrm is unimpressed.
I could keep going and going but I'll stop there, haha. I hope this answers your question well enough??? 🥺👉👈

Hey can I request akatsuki fluffy HC with a black reader
Thanks 😊
Sure thing! It took me a bit of a while to think of an idea but I got you! I also hope it’s fine that I am comfortable only doing a few of the members in the Akatsuki🤎🍫Enjoy!
Akatsuki x Black! Reader
For one of their missions, two people are sent to a village called Nikkōgakure, meaning Village Hidden by/among Sunlight. They see a possibility of finding the person they’re looking for by infiltrating a local rally, but only experience the feeling of nostalgia after seeing a childhood friend. Y/N L/N is a civil rights activist who has become very well known throughout villages and is sought out by citizens for social change.
Kisame Hoshigaki
Tumblr media
- The Akatsuki had to operate in teams that would be most efficient in earning money but also not draw attention to themselves. With two shinobi, it’s the bare minimum to have an actionable team that can accomplish goals.
- Two individuals highly skilled such as Kisame Hoshigaki and Itachi Uchiha are sent to the village, acquiring information about the shinobi forces so the Akatsuki could provide more mercenary services.
- Aside from tracing Jinchuriki, a back up plan was to make countries increasingly dependent on Akatsuki’s services, corner the entire market for shinobi missions and eventually put all of the shinobi villages out of business.
- Kisame didn’t expect the village to have such an ethereal beauty; everything in honeyed tones like there was a layer of tinted filtering added to the sky. As the sunlight sauntered in, it ignited shadows to vivid oranges and reds, giving vivacious hues to the village like it was another world of art.
- The broad days of sunlight allowed tenacious vegetation; flowers seen in every turn he made.
- The truth was that the people could never see flowers too many times; they brought flowers into hospitals and graveyards, used them as a vibrant way to express their love and would plant them in their backyards though they couldn’t bear any edible fruits. The village spent thousands replacing them along the streets and as soon as they would brown, more are brought in.
- “Maybe this place wouldn’t be so bad.” Kisame said to himself but it was more likely loud enough to be heard just between the proximity of him and Itachi.
- “Yes, there’s something about it that makes it look so peaceful. Like it’s ducked off from the world’s ugliness and imperfection.” Itachi spoke. “Therefore, we will not spark any attention on ourselves. We will only pursue what is absolutely necessary.”
- Kisame followed in Itachi’s words as they watched villagers gather inside of a place, soon walking behind them.
- They both sat in the corner of the room at a small table, everyone’s conversation dying down after the lights dim.
- Kisame heard the sound of heels becoming discernible as they progressed closer to the stage. Once they stopped, the spotlight shined on a beautiful woman.
- He felt himself be captivated by your features; dark satiny brown skin, these dark expressive eyes—pools of honey each time the sunshine hits them, as you wore your hair naturally in its born state.
- You greeted everyone with a warm smile and it seemed a lot of your audience has seen you before—Kisame knew he definitely has.
- He remembered you back in Kirigakure, Village Hidden by Mist or The Hidden Village of The Land of Water. He often saw you tagging along the crewman that traded goods with his village. Having many adventures as a shinobi prior to joining the organization, some of his missions consisted of being involved with the lakes featured along the many islands composing his village.
- The two of you have crossed each other up until the point you kindly greeted him and couldn’t help but feel intrigued by his unique features. He didn’t take offense from it, taking in mind how your voice sounded out of admiration and saw your hand raise a bit like you wanted to feel his features you thought as surreal.
- He only smirked a bit and answered that that was the heredity of his folk, then turned the question on you and asked, “How come whenever the sun hits your skin, you start glowing?”. He watched you stare at him in shock.
- From there on, you two had nice conversations but then you suddenly didn’t see him anymore. You assumed he was getting caught up in a lot of missions and became too busy, which lead to dreading if he could’ve been killed.
- This proceeded for years unbeknownst of him participating in the Akatsuki. But today, he saw you stand behind the podium winning cheers from the crowd. He felt the weird feeling of an adrenaline rush pumping through his bloodstream as his heart rate accelerated by the second he kept looking at you.
- He began to space out from your words, then pondered to himself how he followed the code of the Shinobi in order to “kill his emotions”, which would prevent the average from running wild and causing the mission to be a failure.
- Despite if he was able to feel a drawback from violence, he sadistically enjoyed fighting so there was nothing more that could ever make him feel so vulnerable. He didn’t want to look weak.
- Itachi noticed how Kisame stared at you and honestly he couldn’t blame him. But there was something he sensed other than the gravitation of your beauty, but more like Kisame was remembering you. Like he recalled your appearance from years ago and felt some type of desperation or allure to speak to you.
- “If you wish to speak to her, I recommend this cafe I saw not too far from here. Or take her for a stroll along the street side and visit this flower shop with the biggest garden. But do it when it’s getting darker— the time we’re not on duty.” Itachi assisted, much to his friend’s surprise. “Trust me, I don’t need my sharingan to see how you look at her.”
- With that, Kisame left an anonymous note, telling you to meet him at the heart of the village, where there’s an enormous flower bed, at 8. You wore a fitted kente dress with bell sleeves flaring at your wrists and adorned your hair with a head wrap—having the complementing color, red. His eyes lit up when he saw you approaching the address, watching you look around until you see a man rise from where he was sitting.
- Your mouth was agape in shock as you had a closer look, throwing yourself at him before slowly wrapping your arms around his neck. Kisame stiffened at your display of happiness since he wasn’t sure how you felt about his appearance, if you had a new life with someone or if you shared the same feelings as him. Yet, he wrapped an arm around your waist and walked with you that night.
Deidara
Tumblr media
- Deidara felt at ease by the village he was assigned. Unfortunately, being tasked with Tobi made his experience less enjoyable than he would’ve liked.
- But he accredited Nikkōgakure for the artful displays of rainbow freckles adorning the window boxes, the raised medians, or by canopying storefronts. The village always seemed like it was in the presence of a clear sky; the sun mooring itself in the blue as if anchored to heaven’s ether. It wasn’t too hot, nor too cold but adequate for the black cloak he was wearing.
- Tobi openly expressed his awestruck by continuously wanting to stop at places. He even grabbed a brochure upon entering which contained a map of the village, since they were aware of often having newcomers.
- He wandered different places to the point where Deidara would be looking in one direction and next thing turn to see that Tobi is gone. He caught him sniffing the ingredients being chopped up at a vegetable soup stall; tasting some of the scooped broth from the wooden spoon the cook used to mix.
- Deidara snatched him from the stand, “You dunderhead! Do you know what we were even sent here for—,” Tobi raised a finger in clarification. “Don’t answer that question. We are here because there was traces left of a jinchuriki, while you’re steady lollygagging around with your head stuck in a shit-filled world of cupcakes and rainbows called your ASS! Hm. It’s like I’m looking after a fucking child.”
- But then, he noticed that Tobi was looking in another direction; poking his finger out for a black swallowtail butterfly. His menacing glare made the male detect it was silent and looked towards Deidara. “I’m sorry, what did you say again?”
- The blond growled in frustration, chasing after Tobi until he caught him and punched him unconscious. With a huge knot on the man’s head, he snored with a snot bubble drawing from his nose as Deidara dragged him by the back of his collar.
- Suddenly, the snot bubble popped shortly after Tobi awakened. Five minutes into realizing Deidara was pulling him, he caught sight of an art exhibit.
- “Hey Deidara!” Tobi’s childish accent startled the boy. “How did you—” “Look! An art exhibit!”
- Deidara begrudgingly turned to his side to see what appeared to be a church with gardened—pruned—shrubs of hydrangeas; blossoming large, globe shaped flower heads in shades of purple, blue, pink and white.
- “I’m not falling for another one of your shenanigans.” He resisted. “Oh please! I promise this is the last stop! Gaah, I thought you liked art.” Tobi whined. “Art comes in many forms. What would you know about it anyway? Hm.” “It just looks so pretty in there. Do you even try to take your time with things once in a while? Ya know to soak everything in? Enjoy it while it lasts? Yeesh, you should indulge in yourself more.” “Shut it.”
-Although, in the back of Deidara’s mind, Tobi actually made a point. Their duties often consisted of violence after the lead of Nagato or “Pain” concluded that the only way the world would turn away from its constant warfare would be to experience such catastrophic death destruction that it could never again stomach the idea of conflict.
- Nikkōgakure had many amenities that it already looked like it was in its own world of peace. There were only a few times the members had a day off, why not take the opportunity to enjoy himself a bit while he had the chance now? “Your pondering silence means you’re letting my words settle in, doesn’t it? Go on, I’m waiting.” Tobi said, beginning to file his nails. “You really have the nerve to test my patience when it’s my decision to choose how we’re carrying out our mission, hm. I bet you chose an art exhibit just because you knew I like art.” Deidara anticipated. “Who cares? Can we just go in now?”
- Tobi rocked on his heels and swayed in place in impatience, mentally questioning what could possibly be keeping the boy from submitting into a positive answer. Deidara sighed, “Fine, whatever. We don’t have all day.”. The man-child squealed and raised his arms in the air as he quickly ran through the doors. Approaching the exhibit, Deidara’s interest in the hydrangeas returned; feeling drawn to reach out to a grouplet of periwinkle flowers. He was surprised to feel the sensation of paper, stroking his thumb on the cut out petals to realize they were made out of coffee filters. “Incredible, they look so realistic.” He thought.
- On entering, it was even more colorful inside; each of the whitewashed walls possessed by the colors refracting and dispersing from the sun’s light. The walls had pictorial designs of contrasting pieces like mosaics but as stained glass. They took on the designs of flowers with their leaves blooming from the lead frame by being painted along each side of the room. Most significantly, up in the front of the main entrance, there was a large window panel of a tree; it’s branches winding away from it into leaves of different colors. They were soft shades of pink, blue, yellow and green. “Truly beautiful.” Deidara thought.
- Then, he realized he lost track of Tobi. Although Tobi was an adult and could take care of himself (past tense “could”), it was more like he couldn’t because of his antics. Plus, he wanted to make sure they remained on track of their mission.
- On his search to look for him, he was still in amazement of the exhibit and found himself walking down different halls. The building was a combination of both indoors and outdoors. Some of the roofs became like a greenhouse; transparent ceilings allowing the sunlight to shine through as rooms became greenery with more artwork.
- There was a imperceptible voice down the halls, so he began to follow it. He was finally brought to another room but it was filled with people. He almost ignored it until he caught a glimpse of a girl. You were on stage, a blissful smile wide on your face while he acknowledged that you were the one speaking. He took a double take once he saw you; your hair is in tribal braids, free of your face as they accentuated your golden features. Your eyes never aged, they still spoke of your youth and liveliness.
- Just as he remembered, back in the days before he joined the Akatsuki, you two were friends in his home village, Iwagakure: Hidden Stone Village or The Hidden Village of the Land of Earth.
- You were a ceramist in the Ceramic Village, a small village in the Land of Wind, who was a practitioner of Hanasaki. Hanasaki was known for its pure white color and the series of fine cracks that run along its surface which resembled blossoming flowers (befitting its name). As it brought fame to Ceramic Village, Ninja of Sunagakure frequently requested that parts for their puppets be made in the Hanasaki style, but Hanaski was already difficult to produce for mere ceramics.
- Masho, leader of the ceramic village and created of Hanasaki, rarely took requests because of this. However, you were compliant with many ninjas including Deidara who used the high-quality clay because inferior clays wouldn’t take the exact forms he wanted nor would their detonation be as impressive. Hanasaki was the best clay he found as well as you being the best person he could rely on it from.
- Ceramic Village began running low on Hanasaki but you had set up kilns and workshops throughout villages and found different types of clay, including a muddy clay in the Village of Lies. Back in the village, Masho and other Hanasaki ceramists were killed because it was bringing the village to its downfall from hugely relying on Hanasaki as a source of income. The killer‘s motive was that it would be better to pursue new art styles.
- But, you survived because you often hung out with Deidara, flying on his C2 dragon (a large, flight capable dragon), while he showcased different explosives and experiments he made. You convinced him into throwing them into the air like they were fireworks so he wouldn’t hurt the tons of life below you. He enjoyed seeing your reactions to his explosives because he wanted to impress you, to show you that your clay wasn’t going to waste.
- This soon came to an end when he suddenly left the village as an S-Rank missing nin. Now that he was seeing you currently, many of his memories were brought back to him and so were his feelings. The instant he saw you made him feel warm inside, like he body began starving for sweetness and clung to an emotional sugar source. The sound of your laughter along with the people in the room ignited something in him.
- “Deidara! There you are. You know you shouldn’t run off like that, I was looking all over for you. But I gotta say, I knew you would explore this place top to bottom.” Tobi said. “You dumbass. It’s not my fault you got lost in here and along that, sounding like a baby looking for his mom. Hm.”. Tobi shook away what Deidara had to say and instead looked ahead to see you. “Sweet mama, whose the babe? Don’t try to deny it Deidara, I saw you making goo goo eyes at her,” He began nudging him. “Come on you can tell me. Who is she? Your girlfriend? Best friend?” “She is none of your business.” Deidara said through grunted teeth.
- He wasn’t sure about going up to you. He expected that you would be mad, if anything feel betrayed that he could’ve used you for Hanasaki clay. Really, he enjoyed your company and developed feelings for you. But he didn’t think that you returned them and after all, there were many other ninjas you made clay for. So, he left without telling you, not thinking it would mean much or have a significance.
- Yet, here he stood, watching you shake hands with the host of the event as everyone applauded you for your speech. “I may be a dumbass but you really would if you don’t go and talk to her.” Tobi chimed into Deidara’s trance. “Don’t tell me what to do. Don’t you think I would if I could. Hm.” “Why can’t you? She’s right there! The gods have chosen you two to meet each other again!” “Would you shut up.” While they were bickering, you slowly walked up to the blond, recollecting your memories of your old friend.
- “Deidara?” His body jolted at the sound of his name, like you scared him or he was caught by surprise. He slowly turned to look at you, his roseate cheeks burning when you were much closer to him than behind the podium. You looked even more attractive to him being a short distance away; the way your lashes distinguished the gold flame in your brown hues, the way the sunlight shining through the transparent walls hit your skin. “Long time no see.” He could only say through his awestruck, expressing his familiar smirk he always given you. Maybe Tobi did hand it to him this time, he could’ve been onto something all along.
Obito Uchiha
Tumblr media
- “Tobi” arrived at Nikkōgakure on his own. Instead of it obligating to be a mission, he knew where your whereabouts were and visited the village following as you described.
- “Dear Tobi, It’s a village named Nikkōgakure. It is very beautiful here; there are flowers everywhere and the people seem so happy. You will notice the disappearance of clouds but a clear blue sky, making way for the sun’s rays. I believe Nikkōgakure has made a settlement somewhere near the outer circle of the equator since the village’s weather is always content and sunny—just right. Turns out, I will be included in a meeting with other kages in order to suggest a change in poverty villages or else referred to as slums. They are low income places where people were displaced in from wars. We are planning to be supplementing money and food into these villages so they may rise and expand on shinobi forces. Then we could affiliate our alliances for times of need...meet me at the sun perennial garden. I hope to see you soon. Sincerely yours, Y/N.”
- You met Obito after he was saved from White Zetsu who was following orders from an elderly Madara. You were a subordinate of Madara, who took you under his wing because of your omni-benevolence. Along with his Eye of the Moon Plan; replacing the contemporary world of violence and death with one where nobody ever needs to die, he spent his time keeping a close eye on Konohagakure to find a suitable pawn to take his place.
- Omni-benevolence meant that you had the capacity to be infinitely good and good in every capacity that good is recognized by any sentient being in existence. This associated with embodying virtues that consisted of your capability of seeking unity and being able to join others or have others join you. You subconsciously emitted an aura that could induce emotions; generally that of compassion, courage, peace or charity. The inducement would draw others to you; alluring social attraction to make people feel appreciation, respect, trust or a liking towards you. It would form an allegiance with that person or anyone you encounter.
- Madara observed this and thought he could use it as another tactic for his idealism of world peace. He could use you to align different villages who crossed each other as enemies and end all conflicts that contributed to war. At the time, since you were only a simple villager who worked at an orphanage in Konoha, it took little for Madara to send Black Zetsu to sway you into Madara’s plans. Black Zetsu opted that you were born with supernatural/psionic abilities and could be the aid for world peace, leading you into the mastermind behind it.
- From the moment on, you were by Madara’s side and helped tended to Obito’s injuries; following the procedure of removing his body parts too damaged to be healed and replacing them with limbs cultivated from the cells of Hashirama Senju. Obito felt frightened by the legendary Uchiha but immediately fell comfortable by your mere presence. He felt indebted to Madara for saving his life, along with you and was willing to render any assistance he could, an offer Madara made clear he would collect upon. However, you had no harmful intentions and would often share your backstory with Obito as a way of bonding.
- Being an orphan himself; Obito grew up without knowing who his parents were and was left in the care of his grandmother. Hence, he felt alone in the world and aspired to become the Hokage so that the people of the village could acknowledge his existence. Finding out that you were training your natural abilities by working at an orphanage, made him feel warm and felt as though you were doing him a favor too.
- After witnessing the loss of Rin Nohara by Kakashi unintentionally plunging his chidori through her heart, Obito vowed to do anything for Madara if it could bring him together with Rin and Kakashi again. Now, Madara would explain his Eye of the Moon Plan and imparted all of his knowledge and plans to Obito, taught him abilities he would need moving forward, entrusted him with his possessions and would have you along with Black Zetsu to assist as a guide. Until Madara’s revival, he told Obito that he would act as Madara Uchiha.
- You knew all about the plan moving forward and there wasn’t a single bone of malevolence in your body. Although Obito was technically in leadership of the plan, you walked up to the man while he watched the sunset and made a proposal to him, newly as Madara.
- “How about we go through with the plan in two ways. I would like to go undercover as a Civil Rights activist to create conditions for the healing of the brain as a resolve to world problems and spread more love. To spread a new philosophical idea.” You said. “Look at you, Y/N. Too pure to be tainted by the world’s sickness. You sugarcoat Earth’s harsh realities with the idea that there can be social change. If anything, humans should be wiped off the face of the planet. We take and take from Earth and yet there is not plenty for all because some of us are greedy and seek a profit. God used to be our guide. Now people worship the corruption of money. There is much evilness upon our world. We lust after killing one another. And no one seems to care.” Obito unfolded, his voice almost cracking.
- “Madara has projected his hatred onto you. It is the Curse of Hatred that has imbued your disillusionment.” You softly whispered in his ear. “An Uchiha’s love can instantaneously turn into hatred, leaving them more inclined to do anything and everything in their power to achieve their goals and show their own superiority, regardless of the consequences and repercussions of their actions. I can heal that, I can allege the world in love.” You noticed he became calmer by your words, the pace of his breathing slowed and with the patient intent to listen to you speak.
- You continued, “Love reduces the cortisol, the stress hormone, which alters brain architecture for the better. Of course I agree with you that humans are imperfect, their flaws drilled and fracked into our planet. We aren’t evolved enough to be trusted with love. We’d try to engineer it, alter it, use it, weaponize it. Power addiction is always the wrong route to escape fear. The only way to understand love is to feel it, embody it, embrace it.” Obito stood in silence for a bit, you assuming that he was taking in your words. Then he sighed, “And you have a feeling this could work?” “Well, the question is, how do you know your plan will work? Will everything matter in the end?” He acknowledged your words again, feeling the lightest bit of hope. “Fine.”
- He concluded that you will have to send letters of your progress as evidence that your plan is going through development. Or else, they will result to what was set originally of projecting the Infinite Tsukuyomi on the moon in order to trap the world in a dream, thus saving mankind from destroying itself but robbing free will of the world.
- This lead up to recently, visiting Nikkōgakure to see you. Just like you addressed, you two met at the Sun Perennial Garden; the flower beds of Daylilies, Hollyhocks, Geraniums, Alstroemerias, etc. The huge glass enclosed garden was filled with butterflies and hummingbirds, like an exhibit, with pathways of stepping stones—tiny flowers blooming between the crevices. He felt that warm feeling again, just as he did when he was first getting to know you. He looked at you with your hair braided into dookie braids (or known as jumbo box braids) that lengthened down your back. You dressed in a patterned halter top with a matching wrap skirt and strapped heels, expressing your body to the homely temperature. He thought you looked more prettier than ever, not because of your open honey brown skin, but because of the peace illustrated on your face. It made him realize maybe the death of Rin could’ve meant something. Not that it was good.
- But was it for the sake of moving on? Meaning so he could make room for another? Or so he could realize the inevitability of death opens the door to pure potential that can make you a better, more open and loving person? All he knew was that it all had to wind down with him meeting you and slowly falling in love like you were saying. I can allege the world in love.
Sorry to keep everyone waiting! I hope you all are having a great day and enjoyed reading!🤎🍫

Yo I love your take on yandere's and was wondering if I could get some parental yandere kurama for a reader who is his jiinchuriki (not entirely sure how to spell that lol). Thank you in advanced :D
I never expected that people would have so much interest in Kurama. I have another request about him in my ask box as well. Makes me kind of excited💗.
Tw: Yandere themes, unhealthy mindset, unhealthy relationship, possessiveness, obsessiveness, overprotective behavior
s/o is Kurama’s jinchuuriki
Tumblr media
🟧Kurama might come over as a very rough and hateful guy whenever he’s sealed away in someone. He hates it that everyone thinks that he has to be sealed away in order to be controlled. They want to control him, see him as a monster, think they can just do whatever they want with him. And he despises them for that.
🟧He was used that every host of him just saw him as a beast and that it was their job to keep him under control, for as long as they lived locked away inside of them. They were all the same, they all told him that it was their job to keep him on the short lash. It was always the same story, the same words.
🟧So he was surprised by you. Because you were somewhat different. You never despised him what was a shock for him. Why didn’t you hate him? He was the reason why everyone avoided you, the reason why people kept talking behind your back, the reason why you were lonely since your earliest childhood days. Whilst other children your age kept playing with their friends, all you could do was watching from a distance. And as soon as you stepped too close they instantly took a few scared steps back, quickly running away and yelling at you that you weren’t allowed to play with them.
🟧You had no one except the Hokage supporting you. You were a loner, had no one to talk to. But you had a lot of things on your mind. So one day it just happened. You started talking to him, to the fox spirit sealed away inside of you. Not gonna lie, Kurama was at first annoyed by this, but also confused. Couldn’t you shut up? You didn’t, you never did, often even breaking out in tears and...seeking comfort in him...
🟧It was a new situation for Kurama. He had never experienced that his jinchuriki would beg him for a few nicely spoken words and comfort. You did know that he was the reason why you were suffering in the first place, didn’t you? He wasn’t the best in comforting and at the beginning he just told you rudely to stop wailing like a goddamn baby. It annoyed him. But he couldn’t stop you.
🟧So he was forced to listen to your stories everyday, you sometimes just crying over things or rambling excited when you had learned a new jutsu or seen something amazing. And you never seemed to mind that he didn’t answer nor looked like he listened. You just wanted someone who wouldn’t run away from you so you had at least the feeling that you weren’t alone.
🟧Listening to you talking like a waterfall everyday led to some sort of connection between the two of you. By now Kurama wasn’t even that angry by all your speeches anymore, he just listened somewhat annoyed and tired, but he didn’t feel like wanting to claw at you to make you shut up anymore.
🟧But what really threw him off-guard was that on one day you thanked him. You thanked him for always being there for you, for always listening to you, you thanked him for being your friend. And Kurama couldn’t even process your words at first. You saw him...as a friend? After all the shit you had gone three because of him?
🟧And that was the first time he ever talked to you, asking you if you had lost your mind. How could you call him your friend? Were you stupid? He would never see you as a friend. You were just another one of those damn humans who he was locked into. Nothing special for him. You should hate him too before you would fall out of your emotions. But you didn’t want to. You told him you would rather be the dumb idiot who saw this as a one-sided friendship than being completely alone. It hurt to be alone. And he was the only one who had always been with you and would always be with you. The only one who let you talk to him. That’s why you saw him as your friend. And you left Kurama dumbfounded, not knowing if you were either really stupid or just really hopeful.
🟧Your kindness was something he had never experienced before. You called him a friend. Him! And even to people who were mean to you, you were always kind. It annoyed him, the way you stubbornly refused to hate anyone and instead kept pushing yourself. It was annoying, yet he found himself impressed by how strong you were to not completely crack. You weren’t immune against their comments, he knew the best whenever you cried yourself out on him. But you possessed the ability to quickly forget and try again.
🟧At one point he suddenly started thinking that you weren’t the worst one to be sealed inside and the first time he caught himself thinking that he was hella irritated. What was he even thinking?! He should hate you like everyone else! It was your fault in the first place...Actually it wasn’t. You hadn’t had much of a choice either when you had been chosen as the next jinchuuriki. It had been forced into you, a burden too heavy to carry for a child to carry. And you had suffered as well, hated and isolated by everyone. And you had still the power to call him your friend.
🟧The moment he started suddenly responding to you when you were one day talking to him was the day you had a huge smile on your face, one that made a certain warmth spread in his heart. It was a sincere smile, not one of those half-forced ones whenever someone insulted you or played a prank on you. It made him realize how rare it was for you to be really happy. And that made him almost mad. Mad at everyone for treating you so badly.
🟧A certain attachment was very soon formed towards you, Kurama starting to look forward to the daily talk you both had. It made him realize how lonely he had been as well before meeting you. He was fairly amused whenever you talked so fast and excitedly that you stumbled over your own words and was pissed off whenever you started crying because of someone. That was the bad part. He saw everything. From the way people ignored you, insulted you and pushed you around and making fun of you. It made him seething and you could clearly feel his rage bubbling inside of you.
🟧He was left clueless how you never found it in your heart to resent someone for longer than a day. If he would have been you, he would have tried to kill all of them long ago. But he wasn’t you. You had different plans. You wanted to prove everyone that you weren’t a monster just as much as you wanted to prove that Kurama wasn’t either. You wanted to achieve that by becoming the strongest shinobi in the village and protecting it. You wanted to show that you weren’t ashamed of being a jinchuuriki and wanted everyone to see that Kurama’s powers weren’t evil. No, they would protect them to the point where everyone would rely on you and him and see you two as protectors and not destroyers.
🟧Sometimes Kurama wants to destroy everyone who hurts and disrespects you, especially if you cry afterwards. But he knows that if he would do that it would only prove all those bullies right that you are a monster and that’s something he doesn’t want. He wants you to be able to look them someday, after you’ve celebrated as a hero in this village, laugh at them and spit those bastards/bitches in the face, knowing that you proved them all wrong. Another thing that keeps him from doing so are your sharp warnings whenever you sense his anger and lecture him a bit about it. Every other person would be dead if they would do that, but you’re the only exception.
🟧He’ll lend you his chakra whenever you need it without wanting anything specific in return. He only wants you to keep coming to him and talking to him about your worries. Kurama will teach you a bit himself whenever you need help and with his help and chakra you’ll get powerful in no time.
🟧Everyone better stays away from his pup, doesn’t matter if they’re bullies or crushes. I can see Kurama as a shotgun parent, meaning that every potential partner will have no chance with him. Not only hates he the thought of you having someone besides him in your life, it is egotistical, but he can’t help it, but also because everyone used to despise you and now that you’re suddenly so strong and powerful everyone seems to want to be your friend. That leaves a salty taste in his mouth, knowing that everyone wants to be suddenly with you because you’re strong.
🟧Good chance that later on, after you’ve become respected by your village and feared by other villages, someday be nominated as the next Hokage because you’re the most obvious choice. You’re respected, beloved and more than capable of defending your village. And that would be the day where Kurama might just cry when seeing that you’ve grown all up. It makes him sentimental to see how you’ve went from a tiny little pup to a responsible and strong ninja who even has the honor of being announced as the next Hokage. He’ll still be very overprotective, no chance he’ll ever stop being. But he would also be very proud of you, knowing that you proved everyone wrong.

Luna luna baby looney toons. I have something to ask. If you could rewrite one female character arc in anime who would it be and how will it change?
For me it would be Rin. Rin could have survived and learnt to tame jinchuriki from Kushina and other training with her team. Then obito would have returned and both the bby bois obito and bakashi would be happy. They deserve this. ( Might have read this somewhere)
Tumblr media
Hmmm I wanna say Rin as well but since you mentioned her too, I’ll pick a different one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mine would be Tenten.
I think her character in Naruto is underdeveloped and I think Kishi would have written her better like the other kunoichis he improved in the series. Scenarios in my head would be:
Tenten is a legit renowned ninja tool specialist not just in Konoha but to every nation as well. As the female ninja who was able to wield the Bashōsen many looks up to her, even the elders and samurai looks up to Tenten being so skilled in using ninja various tools. Although having a ninja tool shop is great as well, she’ll be partnered with the academy on being a master in using the ninja tools.
Boruto maybe a technological and scientific development but Tenten teaching the history of ninja tools holds a big foundation as a future ninja. Tenten teaching how to summon large affinities, ninja tools and such would be so great than sitting in a shop all day long.
And since she doesn’t have her own animal summoning, it would be good that she has a tool that she always holds. The one that is most significant for her, perhaps a sword named ‘Kagura’
Her Kagura sword meant ‘entertaining the Gods’ and many performers during the warring states period does it as a sacred ritual of dance and music dedicated on the gods of shinto and it is often danced with a pair of sword.
Whenever enemies fought in the battlefield they’ll describe Tenten as if she was one with her sword, like an extension of her body and I think that is so amazing.
Imagine that Team Gai would be the second most powerful team Konoha. One is a Taijutsu specialist, Ninja tool specialist and the other is a Hyuga Genius.
and I think it’s an ending Tenten deserved.

-No. I can't believe I'm this late-
-Are you going to take that to him or what?-
One of the medical ninjas has to add. Yes I am too medical ninja and I go by name Alustriel . I am in charge of treatment and first aid whenever it is needed. And I am currently part of Itachi's squad. I am also a Jinchuriki of one tailed beast, similar to the Naruto's fox mine is wolf, my beast is far weaker then his thank the heavens for that. So in order to keep me safe and everyone else my training is on hold they let me to be medic. Since the incident with me losing control on battlefield no one insisted or asked me to train at least not without supervision.
There he is alone still training. How many times we told him to take it easy. Yes Itachi survived, in spite of everything he is standing now. He cleared his name and we saved him in last minute. Saske is alive. So Itachi's mission to save his little brother was succes. I think that is what keeps him still living and fighting. His disease is still present but not life-threatening. Now then brake will do good to him, as I brought him some water and food pills that we make just for his needs. I also brought him some dango and one glass of sake. If they catch me with sake I am done for it.
-Hey Itachi -
I called to him. I don't know if it was my imagination or what...but as he turned . I swear I could see for a second, that sad face that night when the whole clan fell. When he ran after he killed them all. I could hear myself shouting his name and he turning one last time. Those eyes full of pain tears running over his cheeks. That is not a face of stone cold killer. Ofcourse back then no one belived me all said he use his sharingan on you. Made you see what you did. Or they would just say you are Jinchurik one beast defenfing other.
I was so carried away in my thoughts that I was startled when he came over and put his hand on my shoulder.......
