It's already August 24th (not here yet) so, despite I have a lot of stuff to do, I still remember my dear friend @warriorteam1924 's birthday. This year I haven't a lettering or a poem or an edit to post, but I'm leaving some words from the bottom of my heart.

John/brian sitting between readers legs, working on a song with their instruments. The reader began braiding their hair. How do they react??

John

First of all, John knows no better place to sit than between your legs, so if you’re sitting in the couch and he wants to sit with you he will go and sit on the carpet with your legs at either side of him. You begin braiding his hair as he goes on to fool around with his bass until he finds a rhythm he likes. When he plays some more you already have finished a long fishtail braid on his long hair and John looks up at you, throwing his head back. You lean down and cup his chin as you put a chaste kiss on his lips.

“Do I look pretty?” He asks once you pull away.

With a giggle you nod and watch him touch his head, following the braid you made.

“I like it better on you,” you admit.

John stands and hands you his bass, as if you had any clue about how to do much as hold the damn instrument.

“Nonsense!” He calla from the hallway, obviously staring at himself in the mirror, “everybody knows you are the pretty one in here!”

“Not fair!” You jump up and make your way towards his voice. “I am dating the hottest man in all of England!”

John sticks his head out from the bathroom, the braid still holding up strong. He didn’t dare undo it, it looked quite intricate.

“Please repeat that to Roger!”

Brian

He likes to strum on his guitar after you two have sex, he would help you clean up and bring his guitar with him to bed. Sometimes he is writing or just playing a song in his head. When he does this he will tap your legs and have you spread them so he can half lay down on you and half sit between your knees.

You can hear him hum while you run your hands through his hair. Although you don’t make the conscious decision to start braiding his hair, you end up turning and twisting some strands of his dark hair over the other and by the time Brian is placing his guitar away, your hands slide off his hair and he catches a sight of himself in the mirror.

“What the hell have you done?!” His voice goes up an octave.

Turning around, he messes with his hair to undo the “hideous” thing you did to him.

“You need to be taught a lesson, young lady!” He crawls back to bed as you pull the covers over you.

Playfully, you squeal and curl into a ball.

“It was an honest mistake!” You cry out when he pulls the covers down and faces you. He is closer than you’d anticipated he would be. “I swear!”

“But you did it, you naughty girl!” Brian slides his arm around your waist and buried his face in the crook of your neck. “Help me undo them, I think they’re tangled now...”
