Her alarm clock goes off loudly as the clock strikes 7:00 am on a Monday. Y/N has had a change of attitude due to recent events. She's become more stable and ready for vengeance. She rushes to her bathroom to take a nice hot shower to wake her up. She steps out of the shower and looks at herself through the foggy bathroom mirror.

"You got this. Just be the same old Y/N with a reality check," she breathes. She looks at self one more time in the mirror before going to her closet. She passes all the shirts on the hangers until she found the best one. Y/N puts on a white wrap long sleeve top that ends at her midriff with dark blue high waisted jeans. She looks over at the clock that reads, 7:48, in its big red coloring. Her eyes widen at the time, Y/N quickly puts on her Air Jordan 1 Retro Obsidians as she runs to the living room. She grabs her keys, phone, and backpack as she rushes out of the front door and into her car. She looks at her rearview mirror to swiftly put on her lipgloss. Bucky was already at school with Steve to help with some student council event, so it was just Y/N entering the school by herself. She parked in the school parking lot near Nat's car, Y/N glances at her self in the rearview mirror and sees a flash of sinister in her eyes. She steps out of her car, and everyone stares at her as she walks to the school entrance. She smirks as she notices all of their attention is on her and only her. The boys catcall and continue to stare at her while the girls glare at her and gossip about her.

"Do you think her and Brock broke up," Nebula whispers.

"I don't know, but he's been on Sharon's story a lot," Gamora answers.

"Woah, who is that," Happy asks while starstruck at the woman walking down the hall.

"Dude, that's Y/N," Scott shockingly responds. Everyone continued to stare until the bell rung, making everyone head to class in a frenzy. Y/N heads to her first class, which happens to be the class she shares with Brock and Sharon. She walks into her first class and immediately feels pairs of eyes on her. Y/N walks to the seat next to Natasha but drops her pen on her way there. As she reaches to grab her pen, she notices Quill stare at her with lust in his eyes. She slowly bends back up, but she continues to gaze at Quill with desire in her eyes. Her eyes remain on his eyes until she walked to the seat near Natasha.

"Damn, Y/N, you got these boys chasing after you," Nat comments.

"Shut up," she laughs.

"Y/N," a voice speaks.

"Yes," Y/N answers as she turns to see who it was. It was Quill with the same lustful look in his eyes. As he whispers sweet nothings into her ear, she focuses her attention on Brock, who is scowling in her direction. Y/N playfully leans into Quill while still staring at Brock mischievously.

"Meet me at the football field sometimes," Quill finishes.

"I'll think about it," she whispers teasingly in his ear. As Quill walks back to his seat, Brock glowers at him the whole time.

"Uh Oh, side-eye at 3 o'clock," Natasha alerts. Y/N glances over to the side and sees Sharon glaring at her. Y/N casually flips her off and turns back towards the lesson.

After boring classes and rumors spreading around the school, the lunch bell rang, now Y/N can finally stop hearing whispers about her. She heads to the table where her brother and Steve are already sitting.

"You look like a psychopath," Bucky comments.

“Thank you," she smirks. The rest of the group started to head in the cafeteria and sit down at the lunch table.

"Here's your daily iced coffee," Tony says as he hands her the cold drink.

"I love you so much, Y/N praises. She goes to drink the coffee, but a roar of laughter stops her. Y/N glances over to the table where the noise came from to see Sharon looks at her and then murmurs something to the table.

"I-Uhm. I'll be back," Y/N stutters.

"Just don't kill anyone in the process," Sam jests.

"I'll try," she grins. Y/N sneaks to Sharon's table so she can hear what Sharon is saying without her noticing. Y/N tightly grips her iced coffee as she hears someone mention her name.

"Y/N thinks she's all that. She thinks she runs this school. That's why I got with Brock," Sharon rants.

"And he tasted amazing-"

Sharon was interrupted by Y/N pouring her iced cold coffee on her long, blonde hair.

"BARNES," Sharon shrieks as she jumps out of her seat.

Scream

"Yes," Y/N answers sinisterly.

"I'm going to destroy you," Sharon yells.

"Are you," Y/N dares as she walks away.

"Wait, I have a question to ask you," Y/N challenges as she walks back to Sharon.

"What is it," Sharon annoyingly asks.

"How do I taste," Y/N provokes. Sharon's face turned red from embarrassment as she ran out of the cafeteria. Y/N chuckles at her reaction and, so does everyone else. Y/N starts to walk back to the lunch table but was guided out of the cafeteria to the hallway by Brock.

"Why are you acting like this," Brock scowls.

"Acting like what," she questions.

"Acting like we aren't together," he snarls.

"Oh, I thought kissing other people and not texting me back meant we aren't together anymore," she retorts.

"C'mon baby, Sharon doesn't mean anything to me," he sighs.

"She wasn't talking about you like it was nothing," Y/N quips with her arms crossed.

"Baby, you're prettier than her. I would pick you over her any day," he expresses as he caresses his hand on her cheek.

"I'm okay," Y/N scoffs as she pushes his hand off of her cheek.

"I'm not your baby if you think I'm pretty," she growls.

"We're over," Y/N scolds at him as she starts to walk away.

"Y/N," Brock calls after her. Y/N continues to walk away while she gives him the middle finger.

"Y/N," someone yells behind her.

"What," Y/N angrily asks as she turns around to meet Sierra.

"Please don't tell him," Sierra pleads.

"Oh, I will," Y/N taunts.

"I'll tell him myself. I promise," Sierra negotiates.

"We all know you would not tell him yourself," Y/N argues.

"Please," Sierra begs.

"Should've thought about that before cheating on him," Y/N sasses. Y/N grabs her books from her locker and walks to her next class. Her last few classes consisted of people still whispering about her, boys trying to hit on her, and boring lessons.

The last bell rang to announce that the school day was over. Y/N walked over to her locker to pack her homework and books into her backpack.

"Y/N, I'm so glad you put Sharon in her place," Wanda says as she walks up to Y/N.

"Someone had to do it," Y/N shrugs. They pass by Sierra and see she has a terrified look on her face.

"Are you ready," Wanda asks as they walk out of the school door.

"I'm nervous, but I'm sure he'll understand," Y/N answers. They walk up the hill to their usual spot and see Pietro is waiting for them at the tree.

"Hey," Y/N greets.

"Hey, тыква," Pietro greets back.

"It's been a while since we talked," he continues.

"Maybe we should all catch up," Wanda suggests. The three spent talking about how they've changed since the last time they all hung out together. Sierra was the only reason Pietro stopped hanging around them, but he doesn't realize that.

"So what was the important thing you had to tell me," Pietro asks. Wanda and Y/N both looked at each other with anxious written all over their faces.

"It's about Sierra," Wanda answers.

"What about her," he says in a curious tone.

"Pietro. I-I'm sorry," Wanda stutters.

"Sorry for what. What's going on," Pietro rages.

"She cheated on you," Y/N blurts out.

"A-are y-you sure," he sputters.

"Yes, I caught her and Thor at a party," Y/N explains. Pietro paces back and forth, not knowing what to do.

"I don't believe you," Pietro growls.

"We would we lie about this," Wanda argues.

"Pietro, you have to believe us-"

"You guys never liked her for no reason," he interrupts Y/N.

"And when I'm finally happy with someone, you guys want to ruin it," he rants.

"We aren't trying it ruin your relationship," Wanda grumbles.

"Yes, you are. Just because I'm your twin brother doesn't mean I have to listen to you, Wanda," Pietro scolds.

"Pietro, we are trying to help," Y/N consoles.

"Help with what? My relationship," he questions.

"No, help you from getting hurt," she explains.

"Y/N, just because you and Brock had issues and broke up doesn't mean you get to do that to my relationship," he insults. Wanda looked over at her and saw that Y/N was on the verge of crying.

"That's not what she's trying to Pietro," Wanda reasons.

"Go ruin your life with drugs. Don't try to ruin mine in the process," Pietro storms off.

Your silence is my favorite sound

Tears start to spill out of Y/N's eyes after Pietro's harsh words.

"Y/N, I'm so sorry about him. I'll talk to him," Wanda comforts.

"Thank you," Y/N wipes away her tears, and Wanda chases after her brother.

As the week goes back, Pietro's harsh words kept replaying in her mind. Y/N had worn a fake smile and not let anyone see her true feelings through this entire week until Friday. Y/N was in the school bathroom when those words got in her head.

"Your little plan didn't work," Sierra nags as she enters the bathroom. Y/N ignores her and tries to leave, but Sierra stops her.

"You should listen to what he said," Sierra scowls.

"What," Y/N croaks.

"That you should go ruin your life with drugs," Sierra snarls. Y/N's wall around her feelings had broken down after those words. Y/N runs out of the bathroom and out of the school. She gets into her car and drives home as tears flow down her cheeks. Y/N pulls into her driveway and quickly enters her house. She collapses on her bed, thinking about the incidents with Pietro and Sierra. Y/N falls asleep with the words still replaying in her mind and tear-stained cheeks.

Not sure what the story is on the design but they’re cool. 3 of 4 swooshes look ripped off but the fourth (on inside of left shoe) is team yellow. Materials are premium on these. Nice to see.

Open Auditions

It's time for Kiwonna to lose her virginity (an outdated concept, but regardless). She must choose between a handful of prescreened guys chosen by her friends. One of them will get the job done. LIGHT Smut included.

In the rented hotel conference room, Kiwonna East sat front and center on a panel consisting of the most precious and valued opinions in her life. Four women surrounded her in a semicircle: Tera, Nikki, Gericka, and Ash, each dressed immaculately to their own taste and aesthetic. Kiwonna, herself, sat casually in a black tube top, tight leather leggings and Nike SF Air Force 1’s.. black and green. She slouched in her chair, elbows resting on her thighs. Her anxiety as the center of attention was cautiously hidden in a facade of disinterest.

“You'll be fine, Ki,” Tera soothed with an earnest expression. She sat at the right hand, close enough to rub the relaxed tension from Kiwonna's back. “It's not like you're auditioning a husband, just a guy to lose your virginity to. We've done the screening and the health tests, you just say yes if he's cute or no if he's ugly.”

“If I see a cute one and we make eyes, I'm taking him.. If you pass. Just so everyone knows,” Nikki added from Kiwonna's left hand before waving to her door, her golden bangles clinking together. “Tiff! Send in the penis parade.” The door opened and a sixth woman with a tall mass of bountiful curls opened the door letting in the first man.

Bosso

He was about 6'2 with deep and clear skin, close cut hair, and striking high cheekbones. His septum piercing added to his appeal. "This is my choice," Nikki announced proudly.

“What’s your name, where are you from, and are you a model,” Gericka asked clicking her pen, clipboard in hand.

“Bosso from Canada and yes, I am,” he spoke with confidence.

“Why should we choose you,” Tera glared, her own clipboard in hand.

“Why not? I'm a decent guy, respectful and honest. I wouldn't dip Immediately after and I'm actually very interesting.”

“None of what you said relates to our precious Kiwonna, but let us deliberate.” Tera turned toward the panel who leaned in closer together.

“What do you think," Gericka whispered looking to Kiwonna. She shook her head, no. That was all the deliberation they needed. Bosso had to go.

"NEXT," Ash yelled pointing to the door as Tiff escorted Bosso out, ushering in man #2.

Glory

"Oh hell no," Nikki deadpanned when the older gentleman strolled in. He was attractive for a man his age, but he must've been on the tail-end of his 50s... at least. "Who let this nigga in.. Tiff? Sis?"

"Don't blame me, blame Ash," Tiff flailed pointing at the the shifty-eyed woman with the wavy high ponytail.

"WHAT? An older guy will know what he's doing and make sure she gets hers! It's ONE TIME! Besides, he's cute. I don't care 'bout no salt n' pepper." Ash crossed her arms in a pout causing the others to sigh.

Kiwonna cackled. "What's your name, sir," she asked the older man who stood patiently, confident and unphased by the jokes.

"They call me many names, sweetheart, but Glory is what I prefer. My lovemaking might make you shed a tear. Get ready because King Kong ain't got shit on me." His lip quivered when Ash winked in his direction with a lustful eye. Kiwonna was nearly on the floor, her features twisted in heaving laughter. Nikki and Gericka weren't much better, slapping their knees obnoxiously. "Tick tock, tick tock," the man said. "I'm putting dick into all. you. bitches." The room was sputtering chaos.

"No deliberation necessary, issa NO," Tera spoke over the laughter. "He goes to Ash. Take him out! Tiff. NEXT," she yelled.

T'Challa

A tall 6'0 man entered the room with facial hair, a black and white striped shirt, and black pants tucked into clunky black boots. There was a subtle flash from the studs in his ears and the small diamond bracelet on his arm. There was also a dip in his walk that only the realest of niggas possessed. He stood in the center of the room with relaxed shoulders and a quiet cockiness. His posture read arrogance and pride, but his gentle eyes moved over each woman in humble greeting. "Greetings, I am T'Challa and I'd be honored to assist your friend in her sexual debut.. I have much experience and I've yet to disappoint..," he smiled. "I assure you, she will be in sturdy hands."

Gericka swooned, her clipboard forgotten. "This is my choice. He'd be perfect. I mean.. look at him. And that accent! Please pick him. T'Challa, if she doesn't pick you, I'll pick you myself!" He shrugged with a humble grin.

"Let's deliberate," Tera said leaning in closer to the group. "Best one so far. I like him," she whispered.

"Yeah, I like him," Nikki agreed.

Ash pursed her lips. "I don't know, I don't think he's Ki's type. He's way too cleancut. I wanna slip him a dibba-dab of cocaine and maybe--"

"NO," Tera and Nikki yelled in unison causing Ash to pout again.

"..It's like Ash said, he's just missing something," Kiwonna shrugged.

"We'll hold on to you, T'Challa. You definitely have one admirer," Tera spoke and Tiff escorted him out. "Tiffany?... Bring my guy," Tera smiled suspiciously causing the other women to carefully watch her and the door.

Erik

A 6'0 dread-headed man sauntered into the room with a dip intriguingly similar the previous bachelor. He wore retro Jordan 12s with grey sweatpants, a white tee, and a lightwash denim jacket. He also held a red solo cup that he sipped from, his wild locs pointing in every direction, standing as if starched. A low-swinging print pressing through the sweats drew every eye in the room.

"HEEELLL NO THE FUCK NOT! NOT HIM, HE'LL KILL HER! SEND HIM BACK," Ash screeched standing to walk toward the man and push him back to the door herself.

"SO! MAYBE SHE NEED HER SPINE BROKE," Tiff combated blocking the exit. As Ash pushed Erik with all her might, Tiff pushed back. The man easily turned, sliding Ash to the side before he walked back to the center of the room and drained his cup with a finishing belch, holding the cup out for anyone to take. Tiff stepped forward, giving it a tentative sniff before taking it to a trash can outside of the room. Straight Hennessy. Kiwonna shifted in her seat, her eyes glued to the man before her. She sat up straight, adjusting her posture to something she hoped was more appealing.

"Uh oh," Tera grinned. This was the one.

"What's your name, where are you from, and why should we choose you," Nikki grilled, her eyes intense. He was undoubtedly handsome, but that didn't impress her.

He looked at an imaginary presence as if there was a joke that no one else was comprehending. His sharp eyes penetrated directly through Nikki's venom. "You ain't gotta choose me. She already chose."

"That doesn't tell us what your name is and where you're from," Nikki pressed.

"Yeah! Buff ass.. plantain dick nigga! Answer the question," Ash snapped pushing up on him. He scoffed, not budging a centimeter despite Ash's energy.

"Fuck that shit," he said speaking directly to Kiwonna as she sat enamored. "You. Come here," he pointed to the empty spot in front of him. Kiwonna moved without a second thought causing Tera to clap and cackle.

"Yes, Ki! See, I know my baby," she bragged sticking her tongue out gleefully at the others.

Erik's arm snapped around Kiwonna's waist pulling her nearer as he examined her more closely, his forehead lowering to hers to search her dark orbs for answers. "What you like? You into specific shit or you want me to handle it how I see fit?"

"It's all you, just be easy because I haven't done this before," she said simply, leaving it open and in his hands. His arm moved around her shoulder as he began walking her to the door, eyes on Tiff. She stepped aside. "We got a room," Kiwonna said leading Erik to the elevator. He followed her lead silently. She couldn't keep her eyes off of him and he was definitely eye-fucking her as the elevator rose to the 12th floor. Leading him by the hand to the door, she appreciated his rough hands with her fingertips. Finally, they crossed the threshold into the room and door clicked closed. Erik didn't move, waiting for Kiwonna to initiate. "Sooo," she drawled stepping closer to him.

"Just making sure you still with the shits," she shrugged meeting her action. He stripped off his shirt exposing the pattern of small dotted keloids covering his entire torso and toed off his Jordans leaving them and his sweats on the floor, squaring his broad shoulders in wait. He'd came with no draws, just free-hanging dick. When Ki didn't get the memo, he pointed. "You not gone fuck me with clothes on."

Snapped from her daze of admiration, she sat on the bed pulling off her Nike boots before standing to wriggle out of her skintight leather leggings. The tube top was next, followed by her socks and underwear. "I'm ready," she perked.

"You one of them goofy bitches ain't you," he smiled raising a brow. "Lay down on your back and get comfortable."

"You just got a bigass dick and I'm nervous," she admitted, settling on the bed with her legs parted. He immediately began stroking himself to the sight of her body, moving to the foot of the bed.

"Shh," he mouthed and Tera treaded slowly to the bed when she saw the sleeping Kiwonna, passed out on her stomach with her bare rear still in the air. To be safe, Tera checked her pulse. It was normal, but the girl didn't move. "Poor baby tuckered out. What happened?"

"Watchu mean what happened? I fucked her to sleep," he whispered.

"How many rounds did y'all go? Did she cu--" Tera stopped short noticing the large puddle on the bed and the slight muscle spasm in Kiwonna's thigh.

"Like I said," Erik nodded unwilling to give anymore information. He wiped his dick on a washcloth snatched from the bathroom and bent to pick up his clothes to redress. "Ask her if you need to know the details. I don't discuss shit like that," he said adjusting his denim jacket on his shoulders. Walking out into the hall, he looked back catching Tera's attention. "...You... might wanna.. wipe her down... She still got some of my nut dripping out on her leg."

10. Super Groupies x Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Shoes are an interesting item for a collaboration, and we’ll take a look at a few more sneaker collaborations later in the list, but this one starts us off with simplistic and elegant designs fit for Puella Magi Madoka Magica! This collection from Super Groupies features every Puella Magi Madoka Magica character represented in shoe form, with their respective colors, emblems, and other little touches for the main cast. Super Groupies even continued the collaboration to include the movies, creating renditions of their Homura and Madoka shoes to reflect the changes each girl goes through during the course of the films. Plus, it was an amazing collaboration featuring beloved series like Unico, Paradise Kiss, Patalliro!, Rose of Versailles, Princess Jellyfish, Princess Knight and Urusei Yatsura. You would be hard pressed to find a collection of titles that great represented in one place, and Anna Sui made sure that each design held the essence of their originating series!

7. Air Jordan x Slam Dunk

Where the Astro Boy collaboration went for a slightly minimal style and homage to its designated series, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Slam Dunk shoes go for a much more in your face design. The sneakers feature a stark red and white color mixture to invoke the jerseys of Shohoku high, and are emblazoned with the number 10, worn by series protagonist Sakuragi Hanamichi! Not only do the shoes feature the colors and numbers of the manga, they’re also designed with panels of the manga printed onto the shoe itself, using red and white coloring to make them stand out. If you’re a fan of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, you’re probably not going to find this collaboration very surprising: two artists known for extremely stylish and evocative designs, united under one roof! The most intriguing thing about this collaboration was the timing, starting when Araki was about to celebrate his 30th anniversary, and Gucci their 90th! Araki has had other collaborations in the past, such as his manga devoted to the Louvre, featuring Diamond is Unbreakable’s Rohan Kishibe. For this Gucci commission, Araki took existing Gucci designs and worked them into his art, styling characters in the brand’s designs from head to toe, and accessorizing with iconic Gucci handbags. He even created a special manga that ran in SPUR magazine, once again featuring Rohan as the starring character, visiting Gucci headquarters!

5. Skechers x One Piece

When you’re trying to become Pirate King, style may not be high on your mind, but the Straw Hat Pirates have always had some stylish looks, and you can join them with these cool kicks from Skechers! The series of D’Lites features shoes emblazoned with One Piece characters like Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper, with more designs on the way, including Law and Doflamingo! Each shoe is color coded to the character and features small touches that help tie the design together: Luffy’s shoe has the classic red, blue, and white design, and the Straw Hat Pirates logo on the tongue. Meanwhile, Chopper’s shoe features his iconic mixture of blue and pink sakura petals. For anime fans of a certain age, you might remember the 90s trend of mixing skate culture with anime, notably in the form of a brand known as Hook-Ups, featuring scantily clad anime girls on their designs. In 2018, skate brand Primitive teamed up with the iconic Dragon Ball Z franchise to produce a line of skate decks, wheels, clothing, mugs, and more! Primitive’s line is colorful and stylish, with the most iconic characters front and center in their designs, even featuring Shenron! 3. Adidas x Dragon Ball Z

2018 has certainly been quite a year for Dragon Ball, with the ending of Dragon Ball Super capturing global attention, the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ, the Dragon Ball Z x Primitive collab, the announcement of the new Broly movie, and to cap things off, an official Adidas collaboration! Adidas will be working with Dragon Ball Z, moving from saga to saga to create special shoes evocative of many of the iconic characters and battles in the series. The first set are a pair of shoes for Goku and Frieza, with Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Majin Buu, and Shenron on the way later this year. The most intriguing thing about this collaboration is the way in which Adidas has chosen each character’s design to be represented by a different shoe type, allowing each one to really bring out the colors and even character of their namesakes, from Goku’s rougher, simpler design to Frieza’s alien, rounded aesthetic! The first set will be out later this month, so if you want to get in on this collaboration, keep your eyes peeled!

2. Punyus x Sailor Moon

We first reported on this collaboration last year, and it remains one of our absolute favorites! Plus-sized model and comedienne Naomi Watanabe launched Punyus to create designs that would be charming and unique, but most importantly, able for any size to wear. This collaboration brought a whole line of rompers, tops, bags, and of course, sailor themed dresses and skirts for fans of the iconic magical girl anime! Sailor Moon is a series about friendship, love, and overcoming any hardship with team work, and Punyus is a brand about making fashionable and colorful clothing available to everyone, so this collaboration was a no-brainer for inclusion in our list!

1. Uniqlo x Shonen Jump

For our number 1 spot, we chose the recent 50th Anniversary collaboration between Shonen Jump and Uniqlo! This mixup saw a slew of unique Jump inspired shirts, each one a stylish and colorful homage to Jump series past and present. Where many collaborations focus on a single, popular title, the Uniqlo Jump collaboration spanned the 50 years of Jump’s library, featuring shirts for obvious modern favorites like Naruto, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Hunter x Hunter, historical titles like Kochi Kame, Hell Teacher Nube, and Rookies, and even obscure, lesser known globally titles like Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar. These shirts attempted to cover the entire library of Jump titles, but they also ensured they did so in various fashions: iconic scenes like the Straw Hat Pirates raising their arms, Killua’s killing intent unleashed, and of course, Yamcha’s death! Speaking from personal experience, there are so many great designs that you might not have enough closet space for them all! Many of these shirts sold out almost immediately, but if you’re lucky, you might be able to still find some for sale online or in a local Uniqlo store!

As anime and manga become even more popular globally, and with many more iconic anniversaries on the way, it seems like we’ll be in for a lot more cool fashion collaborations, and while our wallets may cry, at least we’ll look fashionable while repping our favorite anime in style!

Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Racer Blue’ Are Coming Soon!

Nike and Jordan Brand will produce a new rendition of the classic Air Jordan 5 sneaker in the ‘Racer Blue’ colorway as part of the Spring 2022 Retro Collection. The silhouette was most recently seen in a low-top version in ‘Arctic Pink,‘ which is set to release on February 11th. This season’s collection puts innovation front and center, introducing new takes on classic shapes, as well as sustainable materials and production process.

Air Jordan 5 History

The Tinker Hatfield designed Air Jordan 5 was first introduced in the 1990 in four different colorways. When creating the concept for the Jordan 5, Hatfield took Jordan’s attacking style into consideration. The aesthetics and design of the sneaker had to reflect Jordan’s mindset, in addition to being functional and supportive of the world’s greatest athlete’s feet.

The design of the Jordan 5 sneaker was inspired by the aggressive aesthetic of famed World War II era P-51 Mustang fighter jet. The Mustang was developed by North American Aviation in 1940 and helped maintain Allied air superiority during World War II conflicts in Europe, Africa, and the Pacific, with Mustang pilots claiming to have destroyed over 4,950 enemy aircraft at one point.

A variation of the P-51 called “The Shark” features a shark teeth motif running up the barrel of the jet, right next to the propeller. On the Jordan 5’s midsole, you can clearly see where that inspiration came from.

The Air Jordan 5 is a trendsetting sneaker within the Air Jordan series. It was the first shoe in the line to have a clear outsole. Tinker Hatfield had previously developed Marty McFly’s Nike MAG, which featured clear molding on the outsole, allowing light to pass through. Word is that’s where Hatfield got the concept for the Jordan 5’s clear sole.

Since its initial retro-ing in 2000, the V5 has been re-released throughout 2006-2009, 2011-2013, and 2013-2017. The “Laney” Vs (named after Jordan’s high school), “Green Bean” Vs, Wolf Grey Vs, and “Raging Bull” Vs are some of the most popular non-OG versions.

Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Racer Blue’ Design

For this years iteration, the majority of the base layer is made from durable nubuck leather, which is painted a solid black color. The tongues have a luminous coating, and the netting on the mid-foot and behind the shoe laces fronts its typical see-through look. “Racer Blue” accents can be found on the tongues and lower heels, as well as the lacing toggles and midsole components. The treading is ice blue, and the midsoles include spiky embellishments with a subtle paint job.

Contrasting royal blue touches can be found on the embroidered Jumpman logo and the internal lining. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a polyurethane midsole with black shark teeth design and visible Air-sole cushioning in the heel. A translucent rubber outsole provides sticky traction underfoot.
