#Aragon is a Halfa

All Ancients are Halfa's
So! The reason everyone in the Realms believes that Danny is a super old Ancient and not a Ghost Baby is because all the Halfa's that exist currently are Ancients.
The Reason? For a Halfa to be born, they must have died as a God.
Pandora is a Halfa. She was the Goddess of the Amazon's before she was killed by Ares.
Frostbite is a Halfa. He was the God of a Yeti Tribe, before their kind died to Climate Change.
Dorathea and Aragon are Halfa's. They were both Draconic Gods who ruled over a small Country before dying to a roaming band of Magical Adventurerers.
Undergrowth is a Halfa. He was a Druidic Plant God killed after bis forest was destroyed by a Fire.
Even Clockwork is a Halfa. He used to be known as the God Kronos.
But that leads to the question of, How Danny is a Halfa? He was just a normal Human when he died, not Divine in any way, or so he thought. So how did he become a Halfa?
Well, maybe he should start looking into who his Birth Parents were...

After a particularly bad fight with an unknown ghost Danny ends up with the eye of Aragon medallion phased into his chest where he can't reach it and unfortunately for the halfa it's super charged so he's stuck in the form of a white dragon with black under scales and green eyes. Danny was also a bit smaller than Dora and her brother in dragon form. He was wandering aimlessly through the deeper parts of the ghost zone wondering how to get home or to his keep when he feels the tug of a summoning. He immediately tried to fight it as anger washed over him. Unfortunately who ever was summoning him put a lot of juice behind. Danny bursts through the summoning circle with a roar, a threat to burn everything and everyone present, and smoke bellowing from his nostrils. That's when he sees that the summoners were the Justice League who immediately look ready to fight at the mention of Danny's threat and glaring at Constantine who said the new king was on their side. Danny's day went from bad to worse

I’ve been kinda thinking this for a while because I know the dpxdc fandom likes thin as a bean and shouldn’t be capable of lifting Superman so easily, buff as a Viking, and as small but so much curves like his mom, Danny Fenton/Phantom.
And I love them all. For various reasons.
But I just thought about something really hard for a second.
Danny died at 14.
He died being small, and young. He became ecto-contaminated in a way so much more different from Vlad who had been blasted in the face by the smallest portion of ecto-portal that infected and corrupted into his skin.
This is in comparison to Danny who literally had a dimension rip open on top and inside of him.
To me, Vlad basically got the equivalent of a mini bomb exploding in his face and came out of it with severe third degree burns that translated into Ghost Acne.
And then we look at it again from their Ghost’s.
Danny’s ghost is that of a 14 year old boy who died in a cold portal in his parents basement.
Vlad who got blasted in college, was a twig and yet his ghost form is buff and aged just like his aged human body.
If he ‘died’ when he got hit by the mini-portal than his ghost would mimic the form he died in.
But he isn’t.
Instead we get Two different spectrums of a ghostly appearance for two halfa’s.
Ghosts who are meant to form as how they had been during the time of their death. Ghosts who will always be at their core the person they died as, the identity of those last seconds before death took them.
That’s the point of ghosts.
The only time it changes is if there are external third factors.
Such as Aragon’s Necklace. Or being able to use something of the living to ‘change shape’ as the Lunch Lady, or stretch yourself into a giant like Walker, and the greatest exception being Amorpho who HAS no identity to begin with. More than likely a thought that was made but never given anything further, and thus his jealousy with identity. Either that or he died never making a solid identity that could carry on into death, thus making him faceless because he didn’t even know who he truly was at that time of death.
Even Spectra is different! She’s more of a poltergeist-demon than an actual Ghost from the way she does things and even from how she looks in ghost form.
So with that, who is actually Human-Ghost and who just happens to be Ghost adjacent enough to get powers?
Danny is a real Halfa and Vlad is just mimicking one.
Now for the Dan, evil-phantom, of the fandom.
Dan is just BUFF.
He’s an adult. He GREW.
But it wasn’t due to Danny.
It was due to whatever he took from Vlad/Plasmius.
To me, Plasmius was just the ecto that resided in Vlad. All that anger and resentment that gave birth to itself from Vlad’s own anger at what he went through with the mini-portal. It was ecto that was residing in him, ecto from the Infinite Realms itself that was made INTO an idea and then given form.
Ecto that lived, Venom-style, in Vlad.
An idea that grew up with Vlad BECAUSE Vlad was growing up himself. He wasn’t thinking of himself as that scrawny college student anymore. He was becoming an adult so of course the ecto would mimic that idea of Vlad and make Plasmius older too.
Plasmius was a fairy tale that Vlad made up, and that’s why Dan was able to rip that part out of Vlad like it was it’s own true ghost. But it wasn’t, and so it collapsed without its person to control it. At least until Dan dove into the ecto and took the ideas that were there and intertwined himself with it.
Those YEARS of ideas isn’t so easily brushed away either, and even less so when Danny and Vlad had believed that Plasmius was Vlad’s ghost, a halfa just like Danny. So of course Dan would believe in the idea that he took/ate Vlad’s ghost. And that idea would spread because ecto is just another form of power and vitality. So of course that ecto should change Dan.
And then it did.
It changed his colors first and then eventually his physical form.
Thus we have Buff older Dan.
Now back to Danny.
With all that, this means that Phantom is never going to age.
Because Danny did die that day. He died, and only came back because the dimensional rip of ecto from the Infinite Realms tied his ghost neatly into his human body. The human body that just died.
He isn’t alive, his ghost that is tied to the body is simply puppeteering it. And as the Infinite Realms is literally all of time and space throughout every single multiverse in existence, it’s not too far of a shot to say that it could snatch that very moment, that heartbeat Danny craves restlessly, the heartbeat just before he truly died entirely.
Danny is a moment in time.
So his ghost will never age. And neither will his body.
Basically, Danny is forever an eternal 14 year old twig and he will be so very mad about it.

Triple Threat (DC x DP)
So, this is based slightly on this prompt I wrote! Here is the link to my DC x DP masterpost, and one of my last notfics I posted here was Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss, Godhood where Danny and Vlad try to manipulate and mansplain their way out of trouble with the JLA. So, Danny and Billy are brothers. Maybe they're twins separated at birth, but I prefer that they bonded at some other point, maybe they adopted each other after meeting on the street. Danny's parents said they didn't care he was a halfa, but their behaviour changed so much because they were utterly incapable of hiding their fear of him. He ran away. Billy was at this time, already living on the streets.
They 'come out' to each other on the same day revealing their powers out of brotherly love and unconditional trust - not as an accident. And you know what? Trans Rights! They can come out that way too. At this point, Billy is working with the justice league and Danny is spending a lot of his time in the Zone. He is the king, but mostly his job is to be a key judicial figure as the 'only dude who can pretty much beat anyone up' and has a lot of friends there. Hey, the sovereign ruler of the ghost zone was locked up for thousands of years and nothing really seemed to happen so I can't imagine he'd have a lot to do day-to-day. Actually, instead of sleeping on the streets they both spend most nights in the Zone in Danny's Haunt (though I'd imagine Billy also sleeps frequently at the watchtower because the pair of them are quasi-immortal homeless children who also somehow have fulltime jobs that pay nothing. And the watchtower has a kitchen). When I think of Danny's personality displayed as a physical location, I think it looks like a little suburban street lined with weird ghostly trees growing sentient flowers. There's a nasty burger though it's empty of employees and food; they still use it as a dining room. His actual house (ghosts don't need one but I still think Danny would have one) is moderate in size and charming. But it has defences built in, to the same absurd level as home alone or that live action scooby doo film https://youtu.be/2x7W225iC88?t=62 where there's a trapdoor under the doormat. There's a park across the road (which is always empty of cars but has a pedestrian crossing anyways) with purple grass and some plants that are only vaguely carnivorous. Every now and then, Billy helps out Danny with some magic tomfoolery in the Zone (you cannot tell me Aragon's amulets or Desiree aren't magic over and above normal ghost shenanigans). In one of Billy's first ever team missions he calls Danny as backup. He barely knows these people and he knows he won't be able to do his best hero-ing when he can't fully trust them to watch his back. Phantom doesn't end up having to do much because the JLA members are nice and trustworthy, but he is physically and visibly there. At the conclusion of the mission, following a nice orderly debriefing, Wulf comes to pick up Danny to get Walker back in line. This is a point where there are only a few JLA members, but Batman carefully adds "Brother/Twin??: King of Ghosts - The Phantom" to Shazam's file and begins investigating ecto-activity. A few years pass. Enough that Billy’s and Danny’s lives get a lot busier. Billy is doing some non-traditional school shit (I refuse to google the laws around out-of-school younger-age education in a foreign country for a city that doesn’t exist) and Danny is now working in a space agency. He obviously can’t be an astronaut because of the required physical -which he would not be able to pass - and he is busy with king stuff often enough that going into space for half a year isn’t really do-able. I think his Jack Fenton genes might kick in and he bulks out just a tad. It took him a year to be able to look at his ghost self in the mirror because he looked like Dan’s scarier big brother.
The justice league stop some evil invasion but in the process disable a giant spaceship that is now floating, untethered through their solar system. The aliens had been prepared for superman so there is artificial kryptonite meaning he cannot just punt it into the sun. They contact some space scientists to help them figure out how much of a problem this floating object will be; if it will affect future space travel attempts, if it could crash into the moon or Earth itself, if benevolent alien visitors in the future could think Earth was full of deranged murderers if they came to visit and encountered it.
Every agency they contact recommends one guy.
So, Shazam has need of his cool older twin Danny to come and help out with this problem! He is visibly thrilled and eventually admits that Daniel Nightingale (he wasn’t going to add to the prestige of his parents name or risk dragging his career down with their shenanigans) is his brother.
Only a couple of the original members remember all those years ago that Marvel has a brother they’ve met and that’s who they’re expecting when Danny arrives with his team. Of course, the magic ghost is a good option for a dicey mission. But no, it’s Danny. He does a great job and there’s a lot of content here. But after Danny and Billy leave, Batman holds a meeting to update JLA members that have only been around a few years. Apparently, Captain “the champion of magic” Marvel, and Phantom – the king of ghosts are triplets with Danny “Just A Guy” Fenton.

Death by Exposure
Written for the Phic Phight Prompts: At first Danny had been worried sick that Wes had figured out that he was Phantom, but when no one believed him it had sort of become funny. Still, after the anti-ecto act, and the GIW, and his own parents very public very violently vitriolic screeds against ghosts, Danny had to wonder what he'd ever done to Wes that the guy would risk exposing Danny to all that. (from @hpwotters-blog, or at least I think that's you're tumblr.), Wes Weston wakes up to find an injured Phantom on the fire escape. (from @half-deadmagicperson), With how much time he spends on basketball and his delusional conspiracy theories, no one would ever suspect that Wes Weston has another secret hobby… (from @kadziduo), And Wes has been spending more and more time around Fenton and Co. lately - hey! he’s only trying to get some much-needed evidence against them, not trying to get all buddy-buddy with them. And anyway, they’re an entirely annoying bunch, so he wholeheartedly blames them for the fact that he’s currently being monologued at by the ghost holding him hostage. (from @a-closet-emo)
Chapter 6: Exposal
AO3 Link
[Warnings for kidnapping and violence]
The ghost took Wes to the the medieval history section of Amity Park museum, where he bound Wes to the rack in the exhibit on medieval torture devices. It wasn't enough to put Wes on an actual torture rack, though, no, because then, the ghosts started to monologue.
"Do you know who I am, friend of Phantom?" the ghost asked, but Wes knew the start of an evil monologue when he heard one and he wasn't dumb enough to interrupt by trying to answer the rhetorical question. "I am Prince Aragon, rightful ruler of the Medieval Realm. Your friend Phantom, and his friend Sam, my would-be bride, were the ones responsible for influencing my foolhardy sister to betray me, and now they shall pay."
Well, at least Wes knew who to blame for the ghosts currently talking his ear off. If Sam still refused to trust him after this, he was going to revolt.
"They poisoned Isadora's mind with their twenty-first century ideas," the prince spat. "They made her think she was worthy of my throne, my crown, my amulet! They'll come to regret it, now that I've taken away something precious to them. The ghost boy will return my amulet to me so that I may reclaim my kingdom, or you will pay the ultimate price."
"Woah, time out!" Wes requested, shaking his head—the only thing he could move while on the rack. "You know Phantom is half human?"
"Of course," the prince scoffed. "The halfa is well known throughout the realms."
"You're fucking kidding me," Wes scowled. What a sick joke this had to be. He'd been trying to convince humans that half-ghosts were real and Danny was one for months, only now to learn that the ghosts knew the whole damn time. "Unbelievable."
"I don't see what you find so difficult to believe." Aragon looked down his nose at Wes like he was something the prince had had his servants scrape off the bottom of his shoe. "The ghost boy will soon see the ransom letter my loyal archer left at his abode. In the meantime, we will wait."
"So... did you just grab me because you saw me leaving Fenton's house?" Wes asked. "He has a sister you know; what if I'd been one of her friends instead? I mean, I was there with Danny, but I'm pretty sure Sam hates my guts and will not care what you do with me."
"Silence!"
"I'm just saying, you could've thought this plan through a little better," Wes told him. Aragon raised a hand in warning and Wes clammed up. Stupid Fenton. Stupid Manson. Stupid Foley, too, while he was at it, because when one of them were involved, they all were.
"This plan is foolproof," Aragon insisted, "which is essential, because Phantom and his fellows are certainly fools. I will have my amulet back, and once my power is restored, I will become the great dragon I was born and died to be, and lay waste to this feeble mortal realm before returning to my kingdom to face my mutinous sister and make her regret ever standing up to me."
Wes knew better than to speak up, but he couldn't help thinking that, despite his claims otherwise, this Aragon creep really didn't sound like the victim here. Honestly, Wes just felt bad for his sister, whoever she was, far having to live with him for who knew how long. And Manson, who... wait, what did he mean when he said 'would-be bride' before?
"Hold on, were you planning on marrying Sam Manson?" Wes asked, vaguely disgusted. "Why?"
"She was selected by the halfa wretch as the most suitable human bride for a glorious ghostly monarch such as myself, and I needed a queen," Prince Aragon responded. "I'll be answering no more questions from you, cur. One more word, and I'll rip out your tongue." Wes snapped his mouth shut, pressing his lips together in a thin line. He very much wanted to keep his tongue, thank you. "Your friends should be here any minute."
Wes waited silently for nearly twenty minutes after that. Being kidnapped, as it turned out, was very boring. Eventually, though, Fenton and his friends crashed into the museum.
"Sorry we're late," Danny said. "The note on the arrow that got shot through my window just said to come to the most medieval place in Amity Park, and Tucker thought it was the castle hole at the miniature golf course."
"That's a joke, right?" Wes asked flatly.
"In my defense, I didn't know Amity Park had a history museum!" Tucker said. "Seriously, how long has this been here?"
"Amity Park Museum was established 1939, but this wing was added in 1952 to accommodate growing attendance and a greater number of exhibits," Sam read off a plaque on the wall. "So about seventy years, Tuck."
"Enough rabble!" Aragon shouted, silencing the teens, "Give me my amulet or your friend will face the fiery inferno!"
Danny wasted no time in firing off a ghost ray at Aragon, throwing him into the wall. "How about you amuLET Wes go, and we take you back to your dungeon to rot?" Wes groaned at the pun. Aragon was already getting back up. "Get Wes free! I'll deal with this asshole!" An arrow whizzed passed Danny's head and he turned to see an archer behind him. "Okay, maybe be quick about it, because I don't know how long I can handle both these guys at once."
Wes could practically hear Kyle's voice in his head snickering out a 'that's what she said' through his shit-eating grin, but Wes tastefully refrained from speaking the joke into being. Kyle was ten times the menace Phantom had ever been. Once Sam and Tucker got his hands free, Wes urged them to help Danny, assuring them that he could unbind himself the rest of the way. As soon as he was off the rack, Wes crawled under the din of the battle above him to his backpack, which Aragon had cast to the side when they arrived.
Trying not to get hit by the ecto-blasts, arrows, and other medieval weapons that were getting thrown around, he fished around in his backpack for the wrist ray he'd literally never used before. It was buried at the bottom, under books, pencils, and numerous crumpled papers, but once he got it out and on his wrist he activated it. As soon as he turned to join the fray, he watched Danny sucking Aragon into the Fenton Thermos. Too little too late, he supposed.
"Damn," Wes grumbled, deactivating his wrist ray. "I really wanted to shoot that royal bastard in his disgusting face." Danny laughed.
"Don't worry, I got plenty of hits in for you," he assured. "You good on your way home or do you want an escort? You know, to make sure you don't get kidnapped again?"
"I think I'll be okay," Wes said, rolling his eyes at what he assumed was some kind of barb about him not being able to handle himself. "Ghosts aren't exactly known for kidnapping people on the regular."
"Well... if that's—if you're sure then—"
"What Danny means to say is that he'd feel better if you let him walk you home," Sam said. "You'll have to excuse him, he's gets anxious about this kinda thing."
"Oh, because he's obsessed with protecting everyone and blames himself for me being kidnapped because it was kinda his fault?" Wes guessed.
"Bingo," Tucker shot a finger gun Wes' way and winked.
"Guys!" Danny complained. "You don't have to call me out like that!"
"Yeah, alright." Wes shrugged and grabbed his backpack off the ground. "I don't mind if you wanna walk me home." Danny brightened, and changed back to human form before they all left the museum and Sam and Tucker split off to head to their respective homes.
"Thank the Ancients we were able to just fight Aragon," Danny said after a few minutes. "I was worried he might have you in some kind of magical trap or something that would only open with the amulet."
"Yeah, that would've been bad," Wes agreed. "You didn't hear him monologuing at me, but he was totally planning to destroy the whole town if he got it, so it's good you didn't give it to him."
"I couldn't have, even if I wanted to," Danny admitted. "I have no idea where his amulet even is. It might be buried in my closet somewhere, or at my locker at school, or in my parents lab, or somewhere in the Ghost Zone, like, I genuinely don't remember what I did with it at all." Wes snorted and burst into a laugh.
"Some hero you are," he teased. "Can't even keep track of your shit."
"I actually think I may have given it back to his sister," Danny said thoughtfully. "I should ask her when I go to drop him off in her dungeon. I should probably know the location of the magic amulet that can turn its wearer into a dragon."
"Yeah, probably," Wes agreed. "You're not just gonna set him loose back in the Ghost Zone, like you usually do?"
"No, he's a criminal, even in the Ghost Zone. He abused his sister and the citizens of the Medieval Realm for sixteen-hundred years. He doesn't get to just fly free after that. He still has fifteen-hundred and ninety-nine years left on his sentence."
"Huh... okay then." Wes nodded in consideration. That seemed like a suitable sentence. Aragon was really annoying. "He deserves it."
"Totally."
They reached the door of Wes' apartment building and said their goodbyes. Danny waited outside until he saw the light in Wes' bedroom turn on, just to be safe.
A little while later, Wes remembered what else he'd learned from Aragon, and he got the chance to complain to Danny about how unfair it was that literally all the ghosts knew who he was but no humans ever believed it, and the rest of them laughed in his face. One good thing did come out of getting kidnapped by an evil ghost prince, and that was that Sam and Tucker were less guarded around him. It seemed like being personally targeted by a ghost was some sort of rite of passage to become Danny's friend, and Wes had passed.
In any case, he'd been more or less accepted into their little clique now, and being around them without Sam and Tucker scrutinizing his every word and smothering him with their suspicions presented Wes with tons of opportunities to study ghosts, and to gather evidence that they weren't what the G.I.W. and the Fentons claimed they were.
It wasn't enough yet. Probably wouldn't be for a while. But one day, Wes would prove that ghosts were sentient. One day, Wes would get those genocidal anti-ecto acts repealed. He'd get the G.I.W. disbanded. He'd change the world's entire understanding of ghosts, one way or another. And then—then he would show everyone that Danny Fenton had truly been Danny Phantom the entire time!

Barbie and the Secret Door!DPxDC AU
I've always wanted to see a Barbie AU so I'm gonna make one. If you've never seen BatSD, you can find the plot here. (Btw, at the very end there's a clip where Malucia's parents come back from a trip and laughingly ask her if she attempted to take over the kingdom again. I recommend watching or listening to the songs because they perfectly describe how delusional almost every single character is. I love you grandma and little fairy girl for being two of the most grounded characters in this movie.)
First, the roles:
The Grandmother played by Alfred.
Princess Alexa played by newly picked up Jason.
Nori and Romy played by Sam and Johnny.
Queen Unicorn played by Dan.
Unicorns played by Danny, Dani, and Vlad.
Princess Malucia played by Youngblood.
The Main Attendant played by Aragon.
Sniffers played by Walker and Skulker.
The Little Fairy Girl played by Star.
Second, tweaking the story:
Instead of fairies/mermaids/unicorns, it's vampires (amity parkers), nagas (ghosts), and banshees (halfas). trogs (the attendants) and sniffers (idk they're like bloodhounds) are nagas as well.
All animals are mostly normal w/just enough magic that they glow.
Vampires have purple or red eyes, sharper-than-normal teeth and nails, pointed ears, and the ability to turn into bats.
Nagas have green or red eyes, sharp teeth and nails, a tail, and the ability to turn into a snake.
Banshees have neon green or red eyes, sharper-than-normal nails, and the ability to tell when someone's close to death.
Stealing their magic turns them into humans.
Youngblood is a naga who doesn't have an ability (therefore is the most human looking of the nagas) and has decided to steal everyone's magic because he deserves it. (via Malucia's scepter) He hasn't stolen the castle servants' magic because it would make things harder for him.
Skulker and Walker don't "sniff out magic".
They've yet to realize that humans need to eat and drink water on a regular basis.
Jason's 11 years old, Youngblood's 6(?), Danny's 10, Dani's 8, Star's 11, Johnny's 12, Sam's 11. The rest (on the list) are adults.
Something I'm not gonna tweak: the fact that the palace servants don't try to revolt or usurp Princess Malucia. They seem extremely tired.
Now, onto the actual idea:
Jason is very nervous and untrusting of his new surroundings. His favorite activities are sneaking books from the library into his room and going to school. He's very resistant to interacting with Bruce because if he is like how the rumors say he is, how is he supposed to fight him off? Alfred notices and gives him a fairy tale book written by one of Bruce's ancestors about the house.
The book leads him to a door in one of the rooms he's never been in. This door leads to a fantasy world. There are tons of bright colors and weird plants. He spots a glowing, green puppy and starts following it. He wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings and was confronted by Johnny and Sam. (Johnny trips because he isn't used to having legs.) However, they notice the clothes he's wearing and realize that he's not from there and probably has no idea what's going on.
They tell him that the Evil Prince Youngblood has been stealing everyone's magic. Since Jason doesn't have any he might be able to help them. When Jason asks why they can't do anything, they reply with something along the lines of "how would we sneak past the guards or win a fight against them? we don't know how human bodies work."
Eventually, they start leading Jason back to their base when they nearly get caught by Walker and Skulker. Thankfully, the two get distracted by a rock thrown by Star and they get to the base quickly. (Unbeknownst to them, Star gets caught.)
Jason sees that a good portion of the camp has been stripped of their magic and made human. They seem to be rather disheartened at their situation. This makes him want to help (especially when he meets Danny, Dani, and Vlad and learn they're being hunted more religiously than anyone else.)
POV changes to Star's. She's being led into a large reception hall where a tall, shadowy figure is sitting on a throne on a raised platform. Then the lights come on and she sees that it's just a child sitting on a raised throne. (if you don't want to look at the image: the platform is eight half steps high, the throne is 9 steps high)
Youngblood ignores Ember, Walker, and Skulker in favor of Aragon and his plans to throw a celebration after becoming the most magical prince ever. Walker and Skulker gain their attention and announce that they've caught another naga child. Youngblood gets upset with them for not finding the much-more-magical banshees, but quickly turns his attention to Star and demands she gives him her magic. Then, he forces her to play games with him, Aragon, and his two guards.
Switch to Youngblood's POV. Walker and Skulker come back into the room to announce that they are certain that they know where the Banshee King is. Star starts to ask how they found him before snapping her mouth shut, which Youngblood decides means that she probably knows something. He goes to talk to Walker and Skulker and finds they know the general location (a forest) that he's in, not the exact location.
While he isn't happy, he does have an idea. He tells Aragon to prepare to go get the Banshee King. He then looks overly surprised that Star's there and tells her that she can leave since she's not of use to him. Once she's out of the room, he orders Skulker and Walker to follow her.
Back to Jason. He's figuring out a plan to sneak into Youngblood's castle and get everyone's magic back. Then Star bursts into the hideout and tells everyone that Youngblood took her magic and has the location of the Banshee King. Jason was going to ignore that when Danny and Dani started crying about their big brother being in danger. Now he's got a plan to go with Sam and Johnny to retrieve Dan.
When they get back to the base with Dan, they find everyone captured and depowered (with the three banshees missing.) He tries to fight Youngblood, but loses because of not knowing how to deal with magic. (also there's like 4 guards surrounding Youngblood.)
Youngblood says something about how powerless Jason is as he and his lackeys are leaving that almost causes him to give up and go back to the manor. Sam convinces him to stay and help because they'd not have gotten to Dan in such a short amount of time without his planning.
So, he plans.
He gets a small group into the castle and they watch as Youngblood takes the last of Dan's magic from him. The group is convinced they were too late and that they can't do anything now. (Youngblood has used his scepter to turn the reception room into a party room filled with all types of sweets.) But Jason noticed that there was a small crack in Youngblood's scepter, meaning if he hit it just right with enough force he could break it.
It was a gamble, but it worked. He broke the scepter and everyone got their magic back. Youngblood got clean up duty (because there's still candy and cake everywhere.) And Jason was more confident in being able to handle himself.
After Jason leaves back to the mansion, Youngblood's parents come back (he's still cleaning up his mess) and ask him if he tried to take over the kingdom again. His punishment is going to need to wait until after they give him his presents. (much to Aragon's disapproval)
Jason (in the mansion) probably puts the book in his room and decides to get training from Bruce. (and become robin)

DP HC - Rebel Alliance
I don't understand hcs where literally all of Danny's enemies willingly follow his orders just because he's the king now.
You realize that rebellions exist, right?
Now, I can definitely see characters like Johnny, Kitty, Ember, Technus, Fright Night, Frostbite & his people, Pandora & her people, Dorathea & her people, Nocturn, Lunch Lady, Box Ghost, Box Lunch, Wulf, Poindexter, Amorpho, Desiree, & Youngblood following Danny's orders.
Possibly even Walker & his men provided it's the right au (Game Warden Walker AU, Grandpappy Walker AU, or even simply Walker conceding that since Danny now makes the rules, he follows Danny).
However, I CAN NOT see Skulker, Spectra, Bertrand, Aragon, Hotep Ra, Undergrowth, or Vortex ever following Danny. Ever.
For one, Skulker's entire goal is to skin Danny alive a/o mount his head on his wall. He is a literal poacher, not a hunter despite his claims as such, a poacher. And I don't subscribe to the idea that literally skinning a ghost is something that comes without complications to one's health or at least agonizing pain & a lot of painful recovery time. I refuse. It literally makes the whole thing a non-issue by making it so all Danny'd need to do to get Skulker off his back would be to just let him skin him & be done with it, which just cheapens the point.
Spectra was fully willing to literally kill Jazz in some twisted spectacle & use the misery generated from her death to fuel her youth like a homicidal narcissistic sociopath. I've also seen it postulated that she likely doesn't follow the yearly Christmas Truce & that the only reason that Walker isn't on her ass in the special is because Danny's actually the only one who knows about her new body as they possibly only know her by her shadowy form. Not to mention, there's no telling how many poor kids she's driven to suicide all for her beauty & youth. She also set up a way to infect kids with ghost powers in order to create a "perfect, unageing body" & didn't she say that if they weren't cured, then those kids would die? Am I misremembering that? I just don't see Danny EVER being okay with her.
Bertrand, the same as Spectra.
Danny literally helped to usurp Aragon's throne. If ANYONE were to be part of some rebel attempt to dethrone Danny, it'd be him.
As for Hotep Rah, he's already tried to usurp the throne from Tucker, this would be same shit, different person.
Undergrowth wishes to kill all human life & use them as fertilizer for his plants. Nuff said.
Vortex could not care less who dies in the pursuit of his art. He causes natural disasters because he wants to & said disasters result in countless deaths.
So, I absolutely think that at least the 7 ghosts listed would become part of a rebellion to get rid of the "beating-heart boyking."
I can also see quite a few ghosts he's never met rebelling against him specifically because either he's a child, a halfa & thus alive, or because they actually wanted Pariah to rule again.
Vlad would definitely be involved.
I just don't see the idea of everyone being okay with Danny being king & following his orders as... realistic considering what we know of their characters.

This idea just sucker punched me in the middle of reading fanfiction!
Hear me out-
Danny Phantom Dragon!AU
but not as it’s been! I mean FULL dragon au- no ghosts, only dragons. Like replace ghost with dragon and that’s what I’m going for!
Ghost hunters? No- dragon slayers!
Ghost Zone? No- Realm of dragons!
Halfas? Nah- Dragon/human hybrids!
Ectoplasm? Nope- dragons blood!
Like Skulker is a big Robo or cyborg dragon, Ember obviously a fire dragon, Aragon being a shadow dragon prince, Frostbite a big fluffy ice dragon! I’d definitely keep the elemental core idea- I think they’d be a good tie-in for how Vlad and Danny become hybrids. Like if one breaks and a human is near it the unleashed power can change them? Oh! And Jack and Maddie are dragon hunters/slayers! This could be so much fun!
Is this shit cracked? Yes. Am I going to entertain it and brainstorm more anyway? Also yes! Am I open to your guy’s ideas? Hell yeah!

Danny Phantom Head Canons Part 2
This is Part 2 of my Danny Phantom head canons.  I hope you enjoy.  And Here is Part 1 if you are looking for it.
21. Princess Dora refers to Danny as Sir Phantom.
22. Danny and his friends/humans often go down into the lab and mess with the wiring and technology in his parents ecto weapons to make them less lethal or not work at all.
23. The Fenton's refuse to use cameras in their house because they are worried that the ghosts will overshadow the cameras and spy on them making their weapons.  Witch is lucky for Danny when he needs to transform.
24. Vlad has a power obsession and will make a plan but if he can make a quick grab for power he will jump at it.
25. The other ghosts see Plasmius as a dishonorable ghost, and they do not like him very much.  Skulker even stopped working for him as soon as he was threatening to use Danny’s humans and family against him.
26. The two ghosts from the kingdom of Aragon in episode ‘beauty marked’ that were tasked with distracting Danny, are brothers.  The archer is known as Huntsman, he can talk and favors bow and arrow, and crossbows.  The other brother is known as Executioner, he carries around an axe and has a mask covering his face, he can not talk at all as his voice box was ripped out before he died.
27. Huntsman and Executioner also have a brother named Assassin, he is a little smaller than his other two brothers and is an expert in killing, he normally carries around daggers and on some occasions short swords, he also has a mask covering the bottom half of his face and a hood, he can talk but Huntsman is definitely the most talkative of the three.
28. Danny knows how to do quick first aid when he needs to, he often patches himself up after a fight with major injuries.
29. Danny hides his first aid supplies in his wall, he fazes them through so his parents don't find them, he also hides snacks in there from time to time so that Tucker doesn't steal them when he comes over.
30. Danny has two separate DOOM accounts, one for his Phantom persona and one for Fenton.  Just in case he gave out his doom name to another hero (if he ever comes across one).
31. Danny uses Fenton ecto fishing line as stitching, because normal stitching would be eroded away by the ectoplasm in his blood.
32. Danny has started getting really good at hiding his injuries from his parents when he comes home.  Sometimes wearing a hoodie or something else.  If they ever ask him if he is okay he can lie automatically, they often just brush it off when Danny comes up with a lie.
33. All of team Phantom decided to learn Esperanto, not only to talk with Wulf but each other in situations where they don't want other people listening in to their conversations.
34. Most ghosts can speak Esperanto, it is a very easy language for them to learn as it is more natural for their species.  Because of this Danny was able to pick up Esperanto extremely fast compared to his friends.
35. Jazz is trying to become a psychologist, majoring in ghost psychology.  She hopes to be a therapist for other ghosts in the zone as well as people who have had ghost related or supernatural experiences.
36. Jazz has been studying the way her brother acts to better understand ghost instincts, writing down lots of her findings in her diary.  Such as territorialism, threats, aggressiveness, protectiveness, possessiveness over his humans and haunt, etc.
37. Jazz writes everything down in her diary in Esperanto so if her parents ever find it they will not be able to read what she has been writing about her findings with other ghosts and Danny.
38. All ghosts can speak Ghoulish, it is a very guttural language and only a ghost can speak it, as they need a special voice box to speak with it.  This language was imputed into their brain when they die, it is always the first language that they speak before their mind relearns the language they died knowing after a couple hours.  The voice comes out all distorted but is translated in the ghosts brain when they hear it.  It is more natural for a ghost to speak Ghoulish than any other language.
39. When Danny is tired or not thinking about it sometimes he will slip into Ghoulish and his friends have to remind him that he is talking in the other language.
40. When Danny is really serious or threatening another ghost about hurting his humans or other people he will almost always use Ghoulish for how scary the language sounds.  It also often distorts the air around him.
This was part 2 of some of my DP head cannons.  Please tell me if you want to see more and what you thought of them.
And also, what are some of your own Danny phantom head canons?  I would love to hear about them!
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.

The Ghosts in Danny Phantom Were 100% Intended To Be Dead AF and Here’s Why
Or a super mega compilation of all my ghostly evidence
I'm sure the Phandom remembers the famous cursed BH quote from 2017, but to recap, he claimed on his YouTube channel that ghosts were simply monsters from another dimension, later elaborating in 2018 that:
"We had a rule when we were writing the show that none of the ghosts would be dead people. We never wanted the ghost of a dead person. We wanted it to be creatures from another dimension that could take the shape of a human...but they would never be the spirit of a deceased person.”
Don’t think everyone got the memo cause...that doesn't make sense.
Off the top of our heads, most of us can name the most blatant pieces of evidence contradicting that. He’s tried to go around these instances using very convoluted explanations, BUT in the spirit (ha!) of pettiness, I've gathered every single quote and scene that disproves BH's wack ass claim. Pretty hard to dispute everything when there’s so much.
Click the read more if you're down to follow me on my own Wes Weston journey. Do with this what you will. Read for entertainment, store it, refer to it for content creation, whatever you please.
Some of these are actually pretty dark or hilarious, so brace yourselves.
S01E02: Parental Bonding
The whole Cursed Amulet of Aragon backstory (w/images of Princess Dorathea alive)
Danny: “That’s it! Medieval ghostly legend held that the Cursed Amulet of Aragon could transform any wearer into dragon form under states of extreme emotional duress or anger.”
Tumblr media
 S01E05: Splitting Images
The cursed locker 724 legend was around even before the portal, though it working was the catalyst to it functioning. Poindexter states, “finally, the doorway’s been opened.”
Danny tries to convince his worried parents not to stake out the locker and in response, Jack screams out, “Why? Is it haunted?!”
The whole legend of Sydney Poindexter, Casper High student from 1954-1958 as told by Tucker: “Locker 724 was originally owned by a Poindexter back in the 50′s. Poindexter was the victim of more pranks than anyone in the history of Casper High School. Apparently, picking on him was a graduation requirement. He got stuffed into his locker so many times, it’s believed his spirit still inhabits it to this very day.”
Tumblr media
Danny to his friends: “Poindexter took over my body and sent me to this bizzare-o spirit world.”
How Sydney describes Danny: “You’re a halfa! Half a human, half a ghost. You have all our powers on the human plane...”
Also just this whole overshadowing scene. Looks pretty ghostly to me.
Tumblr media
S01E06: What You Want
Tucker coming in clutch again with the backstory. Again showing Desiree once lived: “That was my mistake, reminding Danny where the ghost came from. Apparently, Desiree was a harem girl who had been promised her heart’s desire, her own kingdom, only to be banished by the sultan’s jealous wife. She died of a broken heart, and old age. After that, her spirit roamed, granting people’s deepest desires, but at a great personal cost.”
Tumblr media
Something else to note, as Tucker stated, Danny investigated her story via local ghost lore, right from the source where she came.
Tumblr media
S01E07: Bitter Reunions
Vlad about his mansion: “In my castle, previously home to the legendary Dairy King...”
There’s a portrait of the DK when he was alive, and Vlad even convinces Jack to sleep over by saying, “You know Jack, the Dairy King’s ghost could haunt these very halls.” (which is true)
Fun fact to note: DK is the first very friendly ghost Danny encounters, stating, “Not all ghosts are evil, right? Some of us just want to be left alone, don’t ya know?”
Tumblr media
S01E08: Prisoners of Love
Jack about the Specter Speeder: “This little baby has state of the art spirit plane exploration technology.” Again, he literally refers to the Ghost Zone as the “spirit plane.”
Fun Fact to Note: This is the first time ghost lairs are mentioned, with Danny saying, “oh my god, every one of these doors opens to a ghost’s lair.” Also the first time he goes in.
Literal graves line the bottom of the Ghost Zone
Tumblr media
Walker to Danny: “Just because you’re a ghost, it doesn’t mean I can’t crush you within an inch of your afterlife.” In the wise words of @lexosaurus, man’s is basically saying, “Danny’s fucking dead.” Line starts at 19:03 of the episode, highlighting it cause I love it that much.
Walker’s quote is important because it clarifies that to be a ghost, is to be considered living in some form of afterlife. Refer to Birchman’s quote and tell me that’s not a contradiction to his claim.
SE01E09: My Brother’s Keeper
Fun Fact to Note: This is the first time Jazz actually sees a ghost, as well as the first time someone outside the trio acknowledges what happened to Danny and how it’s affected him. “Ever since the accident...”
The famous scene where Danny’s mortality is put to question:
“Look at you, what are you? A ghost trying to fit in with humans? Or some creepy little boy with creepy little powers?” “Both! Uh, neither-I don’t know!” “You’re a freak! Not a ghost, not a boy! Who cares for a thing like you?”
Tumblr media
S01E10: Shades of Gray
Fun Fact to Note: Human weapons can’t hurt a ghost? Danny when Valerie hits him and he realizes it’s a ghost weapon: “Ow, that hurt! Wait a minute...that hurt?”
Extremely sad, but it’s heavily implied that Cujo is the ghost of one of the guard dogs that was put down by Axion Labs to make room for newer security tech, and is now on a search for his chew toy.
Cujo has an Axion logo on his dog tag (they made it a point to zoom in on it)
Tumblr media
How Danny reacts after trying to train Cujo: “That’s weird. This dog’s already trained.”
A quote from the Axion Lab’s boss: “I knew we shouldn’t have gotten rid of those guard dogs.”
The whole episode opened with Valerie’s dad ‘upgrading the security’
They literally show the abandoned dog kennel. Danny connected the dots and pieced together the backstory right away: “A kennel? This must be where they kept all the guard dogs.”
Fun Fact to Note: That Danny face makes an appearance lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
S01E11: Fanning the Flames
Literally Ember’s entire song. Check out the full version here with lyrics here, and tell me Remember doesn’t sound like her whole story of life and death. Not definitive evidence, but song worth checking out. Issa bop.
S01E13: Fright Knight
The Fright Knight description as reads in Sam’s book: “The Fright Knight, riding upon his ghoulish steed, the Nightmare, is notorious as the Spirit of Halloween. With his ghostly broadsword, he appears...”
Danny: “So he’s a ghost and he’s the Spirit of Halloween?”
His lair is located in the Ghost Zone, which to reiterate, was referred to as the spirit plane by Jack
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
S01E14: “13″
Just an interesting observation on how ghosts can use ghostly objects to possess another person. Classic horror story trope.
Tumblr media
S01E15: Public Enemies
Another bit of dialogue I absolutely love, and it happens right in the opening scene. As a prisoner tries to escape Walker’s prison, he yells back, “you’ll never take me alive, coppers!” To which, completely deadpan (ha!), Walker’s goon responds with, “You’re a ghost.” My dude sticks to his guns and snaps, “Well, you’ll still never take me!”
^This is literally classic phandom death humor. Hinting, not subtly at all, that these people are dead. Deceased. Expired.
Principal Ishiyama talking about ghost safety protocol: “One, students are to have no contact with these spirits...”
Fun Fact to Note: Paulina has her first real interaction with Phantom here and acknowledges that he’s saved them. While the rest of Amity falls for Walker’s plan to frame him, the Casper High students recognize him as a hero.
Maddie at Danny: “Get your hands off our mayor, you odd manifestation of ectoplasmic energy and post-human consciousness!”
S01E17: Maternal Instincts
It was confirmed that the animals chasing after Danny and his mom are ghosts animals that Vlad had experimented on while they were alive.
Tumblr media
Vlad introduces them to him with: “These are my latest experiments, what do you think?...I’ll give you five minutes before I send my minions to destroy you.”
Danny stops the animals from attacking the second time by saying, “Finish me? But why are you mad at me? I’m not the one that made your pelts into wall art.” And then proceeds to point at said taxidermy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vlad at the animals: “Don’t even think about it, you spectral freaks-I’m still more powerful than you!”
S01E19: Million Dollar Ghost
Tucker at the ghost hunters while giving a tour of Amity: “And if you look to your right, you’ll see Casper High, whose halls have been haunted.”
One of Vlad’s ghostly vultures: “We’re 2,008 years old. Be grateful we can move.”
S02E01: Memory Blank
This is a conversation between Sam and Danny after she tells him about his ghost powers and he wants to get them back: Sam says, “Are you sure about this?” and Danny responds, “No, but you saw those things. Those monsters--ghosts! Ghosts were attacking our school.”
^ A little observation, but Danny corrected himself to ghosts when he first said monsters. Like they’re not the same thing.
When explaining everything initially too, this is the interaction: After hearing the explanation, Danny says, “I got super powers?” And Sam corrects him with, “Actually, ghost powers.”
^ Like again, there’s something fundamentally different between just regular powers and ghost powers. The way you get them, the way they work, and how they’re tied to someone. It’s not the same.
S02E02: Doctor’s Disorders
Tucker at the guards after spraying them with his cologne and they begin to cough: “Oh please, you’re ghosts. Do you have any idea what you smell like?”
^ Which, uh, is he saying that they smell like death itself? Corpses? Like what’s my bro Tuck implying here?
S02E04/05: Reign Storm
Pariah Dark’s army looks to be designed after the ghosts of fallen soldiers from past wars. It’s clearly very intentional. A Roman soldier, one possibly from WWI or WWII, and a viking are here below. Also just a whole skeleton army.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fun Fact to Note: It’s the first time that Danny publicly announces and is finally referred to by Amity as Danny Phantom. It’s been months since the accident at this point and they’ve been calling him Invisobill this entire time. This is also the first time his positive ratings actually surpass the negative ones. (at a 64/36 ratio) He’s been protecting them for this long while still being hated. That alone says a lot about his character.
Skulker at Danny about PD: “Now go! Defeat him! So I can be free to haunt you another day!”
S02E08/09: The Ultimate Enemy
Same concept here as with Pariah Dark’s army: The ghosts Clockwork plans to send to attack Danny are literally designed after deceased soldiers or warriors of the past
Tumblr media
S02E14: Beauty Marked
To further elaborate on Princess Dorathea’s backstory, we know she’s from around the dark ages, but she confirms it herself as well. Dora at her brother: “1600 years of doing your bidding! 1600 years of suffering your insults!
They’ve been stuck in the GZ since their death, trapped in time because of Aragon. They aren’t just imitations of humans, they were human. (Well, when they weren’t using their amulet to turn into dragons lol)
Tumblr media
S02E15: King Tuck
The Legend of the Pharaoh Dul-Aman and his servant Hotep-Ra: Lancer says, “Behold King Dul Man. (Waves to another artifact) The King’s scarab scepter. The secrets to its dark magic are lost to the ages. (Points near coffin) The mummified remain’s of the Pharaoh’s minion, Hotep Ra. Ancient legend holds that he will return when the king’s image reflects anew in his sacred mirror.”
^ He appears when Tucker looks in the mirror. After her solidifies, he states “I am risen.” His spirit literally made a return.
Tumblr media
S02E17: Kindred Spirits
Yet another usage of the word “haunt”
^Tucker when the ghost Vlad sent after Danny appears: “What kind of ghost haunts a miniature golf course?” and Sam’s response, “Well there is a box ghost. Obviously all the good haunts have been taken.”
S02E18: Double Cross My Heart
GIW agents after Danny asks them to leave him alone: “An unauthorized entity of scale 7 ectoplasmic power?” “A pre-pubescent specter operating freely? Unacceptable.”
Again, going back to Mirriam-Webster’s definition from before, a specter is: a visible disembodied spirit
S02E19/20: Reality Trip
LITERALLY THE MOST BLATANT PIECE OF CONFIRMATION: Lance Thunder is reporting the news about Danny getting the shit knocked out of him and he says the following: “It’s ghost-based chaos at the Casper High school’s out concert, where notorious ghost kid Danny Phantom is fighting for his afterlife!”
^ AFTER LIFE AS IN AFTER LIFE, AS IN POST MORTEM
Could be a stretch here but I found it funny lol: Sam says, “Can you hurry it up, Tucker? We’re on a deadline, emphasis on dead.”
Fun Fact to Note: We have another instance of someone not exactly sure what entity Danny is anymore: Maddie states, “we love you, sweetie, you” and Jack adds, “whether you’re ghost, boy, or something in between.”
Miscellaneous Additions:
Honestly, I don’t really believe Birch’s reasoning behind the choice in language of DP. There’s very specific words and parallels that indicate the word “ghost” refers to the traditional meaning. But according to him, the only reason they use this vocabulary is because, “we call them ghosts because it’s easier to say, and it’s more appealing than saying ‘monsters from another dimension.” Like yes it would be wordy to say that whole thing, but why would you settle on “ghosts” when the word refers to something completely different than what you supposedly intended and there’s thousands of other word choices you could have used that would fit much better. It’s just a really big stretch. Even the icons referencing them are shown as classic ghost silhouettes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s so many references to traditional ghosts. The school is called Casper High (Casper the friendly ghost), the town is called Amity Park (Amityville Horror), the Fenton invention names (like the Specter Speeder, Boo-merang, Specter Deflector, Wraith Wrangler ((wraith, according to google, meaning “a ghost or ghostlike image of someone, especially one seen shortly before or after their death”)), etc
David Kaufman himself (The VA of Danny) views the ghosts as expired lmao
Tumblr media
BH made this tweet as well like I don’t even know where’s he’s going with this claim anymore
Tumblr media
BH literally has concept art with his official signature seal showing Danny leaning on his own tombstone!!! (The case should just rest there, how much more blatant can this be lmao. Also this photo is just super cool, I really have to give him props for this cause how bad ass. Don’t get how someone can back out of an idea as cool and unique as this years after it’s already been set in stone.) Like this pic was literally drawn on a storyboard template.
Tumblr media
This is all the proof I’ve gleaned from the first two seasons. I may have missed other things, or someone may call to my attention more evidence, so this post is open to future editing if need be. Season 3, which is mostly in BH’s hands w/o Marmel, then makes a very valiant effort at disproving everything already established up to that point, but I would honestly take that with a grain of salt.
More than 2/3 of the show already establishes that the ghosts are in fact actually spirits of the deceased. That’s 40 episodes against 13 from S03.
Also S03 doesn’t even do a good job at negating the ghosts are dead. Sure, the new ones are much less human-looking, but that just expands on the variety of afterlife that actually inhabits the ghost zone. Not just people, but concepts and ideas of a culture long gone or ideas held by humanity.
Perhaps this change in heart was made on Nick’s part too, but since BH has been the most vocal about it...well, his statement is the one I’m making this in response to.
All I’m saying is that they’re very clearly traditional ghosts. And if BH’s values no longer align with the initial route of the show, then he should perhaps step back and let someone else take the reigns if there was to be a future for it. A head that would allow DP to reach its full potential without constantly backtracking and being inconsistent.
(Again, this is open to editing later.)

Family by ectoplasm AU
When the ghosts first see this halfa child struggling with his basic powers and probably repressing the trauma of dying-but-not-quite they all instant adopt him.
Lunch Lady? She is still pissed at Sam but immediately just makes everyone meatloaf on her own because Sam is Danny's friend and she doesnt want to upset this tiny child that looks like a strong wind could knock him over (the "oh you need some meat on those bones!" Thing, she does it the moment she spots him)
Box Ghost? He builds Danny a huge fort made out of boxes and spends like 30 minutes standing at the top monologuing about their "mighty castle"
Technus? Danny is the child of inventors. He just points to a bit of basic tech, asks a general question that he is sure Danny knows the answer to and then the two proceeded to spend the next hour talking about how they could make improvements to the Thermos.
Walker? Danny is a minor so he gets off with a warning (at least that's the excuse he uses whenever he sees Danny doing something he would normally arrest someone for)
Ember? *Throws a guitar at Danny* WE PARTYING TONIGHT (she proceeds to teach him how to play the guitar and a number of other instruments when he asks)
You get the gist.
This happens with pretty much every ghost (Exceptions are Spectra, Bertrand, Aragon and Pariah Dark)
And during all of this Danny is just like pleasantly confused. Like he was expecting to have to fight ghosts (especially since he's been told since he was little that ghosts only want to cause chaos) but instead they are just all being nice and treating him like a kid his age and he gets a break from the stress of being Danny Fenton.
The parentalness is even worst when he meets his canon allies.
Frostbite does a medical check up for him every single time he visits the Far Frozen because he is a Concerned DadTM.
Pandora immediately starts teaching him self defense and how to use every kind of weapon he could lift. She also always hands him food before he leaves because "a warrior is only as good as his appetite"
Dora has adopted Danny as her new brother and whenever she visits Aragon she constantly just goes on and on about how much better of a brother Danny is. They get into sibling shenanigans throughout the kingdom
Wulf is still helped by Danny to escape Walker's prison, though that's through Danny finding a loophole in Wulf's sentence rather than a prison break and Walker just shrugs like "he got me there". Wulf is now Danny's brother and honorary bodyguard because he is a tiny precious boy who learn Esperanto just to communicate with Wulf and- *Danny has been added to the pack*
Clockwork. I don't need to say more. Clockwork wins as top guardian by default and teaches Danny how time bullshit works (cue Danny getting good grades because Clockwork teaches him time management so he can get in proper study time between all his ghostly family shenanigans)
Look I just wanted more AU's where Danny has a big fluffy ghostly family. So that's what I did

Oh my god I forgot to elaborate on that, I don’t just agree with that one anon that Jazz wouldn’t match well with ancient ghosts, I think a part of her would really dislike them for a couple of reasons
1. Ancient ghosts and customs that she can’t innately understand/trust as an halfa would stress her out, and make her feel like she’s not being a “ghost” correctly
(and being someone who thrives on perfectionism, having something make her feel like she’s terrible, and there’s no way to fix that would be something she’d hate)
2. She’s too independent to follow old ghosts and laws and customs that she doesn’t understand and hasn’t been a given a reason for why she should
3. Something about giving in to ancient ghost stuff would make her feel like she was following her parents’ path and she doesn’t know how to explain how or why that makes her so upset
And 4. She’d meet Aragon and physically would not be able to trust any ancient ghosts after that one

So since I'm very bad at remembering my ideas, I'm gonna throw this out there and hope one day I'm like "WAIT didn't I have an idea for a fic??? What was it???" And I will find it on my tumblr.
It's about Danny Phantom, obviously.
There are actually two of them in here so:
The easiest one: Jack and Maddie are not stupid. I mean they're scientists, the use the scientific method. One of the things about the scientific method is that if you do a bunch of tests, based on an hypothesis and only one of them comes out disproving it, then your hypothesis is incorrect.
Phantom has disproved basically all of their hypothesis.
So, next thing to do? Create a new one. Do new tests. They take Jazz's suggestion and try and see if the ghosts of Amity are actually conscious. Because obviously they're sentient, but are they like animals? Or are they like robots with artificial intelligence?
Or even better yet, are they like humans?
They grab Phantom's attention and ask him if he would cooperate for this test. A simple Turing test. Obviously they're still wary because of everything that happened with him, and do the test with witnesses to keep both Phantom's and their minds at ease.
He passed the test. With flying colors.
They're shocked and ask him if he knew peaceful ghosts that would be willing to take the test (because, y'know. Scientific method. Need to try over and over again). Phantom would have to explain that not all ghosts are as human-like as him (as, first of all, he's a halfa, but he doesn't say that. And second, lots of them are blobs or animal-like ghosts), but cue his parents meeting Jhonny and Kitty (cause I like the idea that they have a truce with Phantom and that going out of the zone helps them with their couple problems), as well as Shadow (example of a less human-like ghost). Then Sidney, Dora, the Fright Knight (cause king ghost Danny ftw) and Frostbite.
They all pass, more or less. Some, like Dora, the light and Sidney, where given away by their choice of word, but other than that all of them passed the test.
OK SO MORE COMPLEX ONE:
I love crossovers. I love finding ways of putting the two universes together, of making them work with each other, adapting the rules so that they apply to both. (With Danny Phantom it's also really cool to just... Make him travel the multiverse. He doesn't adhere to the rules of where he goes to, so it's always hilarious. But we're not here for that now).
One of the best ones to do this with is My Hero Academia. Whenever a show has someone with powers I end up asking myself "how should that work in the world of my hero?" And start trying to incorporate it in the lore.
So, first thing first, we're getting rid of the canon story of my hero. Completely unrelated to the show. This takes place decades in the past, when the first people where developing quirks (so if I wanted to write something with this and actually use my hero characters, I'd make it so that they where hit with a time traveling quirk or that Clockwork was somehow involved).
The Fenton's hatred for ghosts? Make it discrimination against the people who have quirks.
Danny being half-ghost? His quirk's fault. He calls it Ghost, for simplicity, it allows him to come back as a sort of ghost-like creature after he dies. Somehow, one day, he doesn't die completely so his body fixes it the only way it know how. Making him partially ghost.
Obviously that would mean that all the ghosts he fights aren't ghosts anymore. They're villains with quirks, and their powers would be based on what they can do on the show, minus the basic intangibility, invisibility and flight.
Obviously only Sam and Tucker would know he was Phantom and he had a quirk, he's also kinda the only one in town with one. People would be a little racist against quirk havers, but the kids, like in the show, come around to it. And actually start loving Phantom and thinking of him as a hero.
How do I fit Vlad in all of this? Ehm ahhhh this is the one thing I didn't think about. Very basic, but could give him a power similar to Danny, were instead of a ghost, he becomes a vampire. But his quirk is caused by an accident in college, so it's artificial.
Why does Skulker (who doesn't have a quirk. He's just a guy in a suit) hunt Danny? He has a very unique quirk.
Does Dani exist? I mean. Yeah. Cloning is not so farfetched, especially with the existence of quirks.
Clockwork can control time, he involuntary does that being a child, then an adult then an old man thing. The Observants are people without quirks that keep him in check, an organization that made a pact with him to stay young forever or something in change of idk what. No idea what Clockwork would get out of it I won't lie. Money maybe? Or somehow they found a way of keeping him there against his will?
Walker (and I'll make a seperate post about this) is an ex guy in white. Yes they still exist, but they hunt quirk havers instead of paranormal stuff. Walker was kicked out because he actually has a quirk but lied about it. He's after his own kind in the show as well. I mean, he's a stickler to the rules, but he only ever seems to care when it's ghosts that brake them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but never has he punished a human. His quirk is making semi-sentient minions. They're not copies of himself. They're like clay humans with basic forms. They all look alike and have no special characteristics.
Frostbite is just... A yeti. With cryokenisis. It's a mutation type quirk.
Same goes for Wulf, he's just a humanoid wolf that can create teleportation portals. I can't think of a reason why he would only speak Esperanto though. It could be something similar to Five from umbrella academy. He accidentally got stuck in the 1600 as a kid and managed to come back only relatively recently.
I feel like all the other ghosts have obvious powers.
Cujo can become ginormous,
Technus can control technology,
Dora and Aragon can become dragons,
Jhonny gives people bad luck and can control his shadow,
Kitty can make man disappear,
Ember can mind control using music,
Spectra can use people's negative emotions to stay young,
Bernard has shapeshifting,
Youngblood can't be seen by adults (side effect: can't grow old) and his sideckick has a variant of shapeshifting where he can only transform in animals. A definitive father figure),
Box ghost can control boxes,
Pandora can control the plagues of the world,
Desiré can make people's wishes come true,
Sidney can swap bodies with people,
Undergrowth can control plants,
Pariah Dark- I... Actually don't know...
Lunch Lady can control food,
Aaaanndddd no more come to mind.
I want to do something with this AU but I can't really think of an interesting story, other than "kids from 1A get misplaced in time and Danny has to help, discovering the existence of Clockwork and the Observants, whom he hates. So he tries to get Clockwork out of there with the other kid's help" but that's it, really.
I actually have a 3rd idea, but it basically works the same as the MHA one. Crossover with the X-Men.
Substitute quirk havers with mutants and quirks with mutations and you get the idea.
The plot would be more of a "Danny gets recruited by Xavier after the trauma of almost dying activated his mutation and goes to live at the mansion. This happens after the events of season 3, alla salted to make sense in the world of Marvel, but without Phantom planet. He makes friends there, since Sam and Tucker aren't with him and everything is fine and dandy and happy. Until it comes out that the Fentons actually contribute to the creation of the Sentinels, because they hate Phantom that much.
So Danny has to infiltrate his own family to get info on how the Sentinels work so they can destroy them, since his parents are still oblivious and they made it so that the Sentinels wouldn't attack Danny thinking that his accident just somehow make him register as a mutant on machinery" and that's it.

Types of Ghost Cores Theory
Superstition: Uncommon, the ghost’s ability is linked to their previous beliefs in supernatural forces and causation. These cores are what causes various ghosts to change forms into monsters based on the individual’s beliefs in cultural myths, urban legends or fate/luck. Even being to alter the world around them with their beliefs but only with a set rules to balance these powers.
This is what causes most ghosts to take on forms of supernatural beings, animals or have abilities tied to luck/probability/world manipulation for their main powers.
Ex: Desiree (genie/jinn), Johnny 13 (shadow manifests bad luck), Wulf (werewolf/cadejo?), Bullet (merman), Nocturne (sandman/boogeyman), Frostbite (yeti), Aragon/Dora (European dragons), Ghostwriter (writing ability), Youngblood (playing make believe), Pariah Dark (based of Norse mythos), Pandora (based of Greek mythos)
Elements: Common, ghosts have powers based on the elements that were related by the cause of their deaths. Events such as natural disasters, house fires, drowning, suffocation, electrocution, etc... sometimes the element of the core can be defined by the individual’s personality if their emotions were strongly linked to their cause of death too. Additionally, this core is not restricted to typical natural elements like Ice or Fire it can be things such as boxes, meats or any material object that is connected to their cause of death/obsession.
Ex: Fire cores; Ember, Fright Knight, Dan Phantom, Dan Phantom, Dani Phantom, Skulker
Electrical cores; Technus, Pandora, most low-level ghosts
Ice cores: Danny Phantom, Frostbite, Dani Phantom
Oddity cores: (powers related to certain objects/telekinesis): Box Ghost, Lunch Lady, Box Lunch, etc...
Plasma: Uncommon, while a lot of ghosts have plasma related abilities as part of the standard ghost powers setup; those who’s cores are completely plasma based have vast amounts of ecto-energy to harness and are capable of manipulating this energy for attacks, constructs or defense. Those that have these cores are usually ones that have indomitable will, determination or pride both prior and in death. Additionally, their ability to over shadow people is the strongest amongst other cores or have an ability to transform into greater forms. (It’s related to elements but given its qualities its quite an outlier as plasma is a weird state of matter). Additionally, these powers are mistaken for fire or ice cores given the properties of hot or cold plasma that some individual can manifest with this power.
Ex: Walker, Sidney Poindexter, Cujo, Vlad Plasimus, Dan Phantom, Pandora, Vortex, Dani Phantom, Danny Phantom, Undergrowth, Pariah Dark, Nocturne
Adaptive: Rare; allows user to obtain abilities of others or adapt to any environment necessary. This can involve shapeshifting or absorbing qualities of others in order to fuel their powers and obsession as well as counter foes.
EX: Spectra (emotion absorption/perfect shapeshifting), Amorpho (perfect shapeshifting/special power copy)
Fusion Core: Extremely Rare, found amongst halfas and ancient ghosts who obtained an addition ability over their time/mastery of most of their ghostly powers. This also applies to elemental ghosts who fused their cores/apparitional forms together bc they had similar core strengths/chemistry I guess.
EX: Danny Phantom (Ice/Plasma), Vlad Plasimus (Fire?/Plasma), Pariah Dark (Superstition/Plasma), Pandora (Superstition/Plasma), Dan Phantom (Fire/Plasma), Dani Phantom (Water/Plasma), Skulktech 9.9 (Fire/Electricity), Vortex (Air/Plasma), Undergrowth (Earth/Plasma), Nocturne (Superstition/Plasma)
