Come potrebbe? Devono ancora…

Day 97: Friday April 7, 2023 - “Day at D Zoo”
We were all privileged guests today at the Detroit Zoo and under a beautiful spring sky, we joined Bunnyville with our little bunny, ready to find new exciting things at a big city zoo. Our friend Lara give us some behind the scenes insight on the runnings of the zoo the night before, along with a brand new Penguin (stuffed) for William to take home. She also set up a special feeding meet & greet with the Giraffes that was cool for all of us as we joined in the dance on their side of the glass.
I was surprised to see the Polar Bears roaming about on their grassy knoll, and we also met the big River Otters, a Monitor Lizard, a sleeping Tiger, and Red Panda - all brand new to William’s world. We wore him out walking around the spacious zoo and he got a little snooze in the borrowed stroller before the grand finale! We entered the Penguin Pavilion on the way to the end of the day and found them playfully swimming and kicking as if Miss Nicole had taught them the way. William was in awe of these birds and how could he not? The habitat involved a trip on a sail boat to Antartica where we went down below to view the swimming Penguins under the water. What a great memorable setup. Any zoo we go to will have an awfully hard time competing; not just with the penguins, but the whole show today.
My favorite moments from the day were just capturing William’s reactions, and seeing this special place through his eyes. The way he smiled at other kids, and was in complete awe of the real life swimming turtle. How he kissed the statue of the monkey, and hugged the statue of the giraffe as if these were his friends and he was a loving guest in their home. Throwing coins in the fountain as Grandma and Papa marveled at his skill, and how he carefully followed the instruction to be quiet and calm in the giraffe pen with the zoo keeper (who held the snacks). He may not remember this day as he gets older, but we all will and it will be very special happy memories. It all becomes the fabric of what we do and how life feels, the rhythm of it. For him and for us, as a family.
Song: Squeak E Clean Studios & Kit Conway - Lean On
Quote: “A world without huge regions of total wilderness would be a cage; a world without lions and tigers and vultures and snakes and elk and bison would be - will be - a human zoo. A high-tech slum.” ― Edward Abbey

Recensione di "Bear, Otter e Kid" di TJ Klune - Triskell Edizioni
#bearotterekid #tjklune #triskell

Near Denver CO
Denver, CO
Denver is considered the second-best place to live in the United States. It’s literally the Mile-high city with an elevation of 5 280 feet; it’s one mile above sea level. The city is the gateway to the Rocky Mountain, and you can navigate around the city by finding the hazy blue peaks off to the west. When you drive for 20 minutes more, you’ll see beautiful foothills and the majestic snow-capped granite peaks of the most extensive mountain range on the continent. Denver has a growing population much faster than in other cities. It’s because of Denver's beautiful lifestyle and low cost of living compared to other cities.
Brothers Home Inspection Denver
Brothers Home Inspection is the best home inspection company in Colorado. All its inspectors are committed to doing their job well to protect the interest of the home buyers. Home inspectors usually identify issues that result in $3000 or more in seller concessions. For example, it needs a new furnace, $3500 to $6000, and a recalled panel of $3000 to $5000. Move into your new home with confidence, get Brothers Home Inspection. If the inspector finds an issue with the house, anything can be fixed. It’s only a matter of how willing the seller is to negotiate a concession on the property's price so that you as a seller won’t be stuck with bills for repairs and new installations. The inspectors help make you aware of the issue or potential issue in the house to not become blindsided by the future's expensive repair costs.
Where to See the Best Home Light Shows in the Denver Area
This dazzling array, which features 10,000-plus lights meticulously outlining nearly every edge of Walter Hazard’s home, is beloved by those near (neighborhood kids were the ones who named it “The Gingerbread House”) and far (German magazine Der Spiegel featured it in a roundup of the best holiday displays in America). Read more here
I’m glad I‘ve read this post from 5280.com about the places to see in Denver for the best home light shows. Every winter, few residents of Colorado transform their homes into a top holiday display. Among these are The Gingerbread House, Onstott Christmas Extravaganza, Wonderful Light, Westminster Family Light Show, Lights on Hudson, and Windsor Gardens Christmas Light. I went to all these home light shows with my daughter, and she loves them a lot. I like the Gingerbread House that features 10 000 plus lights that outline every edge of Walter Hazard’s Homes. At the Onstott Christmas Extravaganza, we enjoyed watching the twinkles that display 35 000 lights, a 10-foot glass castle, a cold spark machine, and a light show synchronized to music.

Group
(Story Post)
“Nathan! Welcome, thanks for joining us. Make yourself comfortable,” Camilo said, as the werewolf walked into the room. He’d set up several chairs in a circle and some snacks and water on a table nearby. Marcita had come in and Yori too, whom Nathan was surprised to see.
“Yori?” Nathan blinked as he sat down in a chair. “You’re pregnant too?”
“Mmhm,” the spirit replied smiling. “Only for about a week. The doctor told me about this group thing and I thought it sounded like fun.”
“Cool… At least I’ll know two people here now…” Nathan said. “And congrats. You must be excited.”
Yori just nodded and folded his hands in his lap.
“Is this everyone?” Nathan asked.
“No, we’re still waiting on two more,” Camilo said. “But they should be here soon. In the meantime, you haven’t met my sister yet, have you? This is Marcita.”
Marcita waved from her seat beside Camilo’s. She looked like she was ready to pop. “Yes, you’re seeing double.”
“Yeah, you’re… Geez, that’s trippy,” Nathan said trying not to stare. “I’m Nathan. Camilo and Korsgaard are my case workers.”
Marcita smiled. “It’s nice to meet you. Thanks for coming to my brother’s group. I just think it’s such a great idea, having this for you guys.”
“So you’re pregnant at the same time as each other?” Nathan questioned.
“Yes, but this is pretty normal for me,” Marcita said. “I’m actually a surrogate professionally.”
“Oh, cool.”
Camilo put a hand on his twin’s shoulder. “I figured Marcita would be great for the group since she has that experience. This is, what, your fourth pregnancy?”
“Yeah,” Marcita said. “Though I won’t be the most experienced once Dari and Fay get here. Both of them have been pregnant more often than me.”
“They’ve been pregnant more than four times?!” Nathan inquired. “Are they also surrogates?”
“No, they’re a couple,” Camilo said. “It’s kind of complicated, but they have six kids and Dari’s expecting twins like you.”
“Well, at least I'm not alone there...”
A moment later, there was a knock on the door and Fay pocked his head in. “Ah, here we are. Dari, everyone's here. Come in and say hi.”
He disappeared for a moment then reappeared dragging his husband into the room by the hand. Dari stared at the ground and waved.
“Hi, thanks for coming guys,” Camilo said. “Dari, I don't think you've met Nathan or Yori yet.”
“I haven't,” Dari muttered, looking up to assess the room. He seemed to ease in a bit when he realised how few people four was. “Hello... I'm Dari.”
“Mon amour, let's go have a seat, hm?” Fay took him over to the circle and let go of Dari's hand to put two chairs together. “Are we late?”
“No, no. We were just starting to introduce each other,” Camilo said. “So, uh, Nathan and Yori both teach the kindergarten years at APID E.”
“Oh, that's right,” Fay said. “Dari, now isn't this perfect?” He turned to the teachers. “Our daughter will be starting school soon. So I believe you're just the right people for us to know. And, Yori we've met countless times through Lino but it's always a pleasure.”
“Thanks. I like you too,” Yori said smiling. “And your husband is so cute, like you always say.”
Dari blushed and punched Fay in the arm.
Nathan leaned in to shake their hands. “It's nice to meet you. It's comforting to know there are other guys who have gone through similar experiences as what I'm dealing with now.”
“I'm glad we can help,” Fay said. “Dari insisted on coming for just that reason. He wants to help out anyone who might be struggling in their pregnancy since he knows so much about it.”
Dari crinkled his nose but didn’t say anything.
“Okay, so we're all here now,” Camilo said, smiling. “And we've greeted each other, but maybe we could go around the room, say your name again and maybe...how far along you are? And like, something interesting about yourself.”
“Sounds good,” Fay said. “I can start. I am Fay Demers. I am not currently pregnant but I have been through four pregnancies, the last of which was for the birth of our third child, Otter.”
“Thanks Fay,” Camilo said. “But, um, I can see Nathan's a little confused so could you elaborate on the fourth pregnancy topic?”
“Sure. So as a merperson, my species numbers are dwindling, so it's our tradition to reproduce as soon as we're able which is eased by the notion that a caregiver will take care of them for us. I had three pregnancies and sired five children back home before coming to the surface. When I met Dari though, we started our own family, and I got pregnant for our third child.”
“Oh okay, that makes more sense...” Nathan said. “So mermen can get pregnant like that?”
“Yes, though our fertility window is a lot smaller than a female,” Fay said. “Otter was my final pregnancy. I'm not fit to bear any more.”
“Oh. Okay... That's cool to know,” Nathan said, suddenly transfixed on the merman.
Fay noticed the way he was looking at him and chuckled. “Nathan, Camilo put out these snacks for us. Why don't you have some juice?”
“Juice?” Nathan looked down at the table in front of him and found the bottles of apple and orange juice and grabbed an orange juice to drink. His mind cleared quickly after that.
Fay leaned over and placed a hand on Camilo's shoulder. “Good call on these refreshments.”
“Well, I was your assistant,” Camilo said.
“Yes. Such a smart one.” Fay leaned back and took Dari's hand again. “Love, why don't you introduce yourself next?”
Dari blinked a bit and squeezed Fay's hand tightly. “Okay... Um, I'm Dari Demers... I'm five months along, twins, and...well I can get pregnant because I was abducted by aliens and they did experiments on me.”
“Um, just so we all know, it's not necessary to explain why you're capable of conceiving,” Camilo explained, eying Nathan. “If you want to, that's fine, but Dari, I'm sure there's more to you than that.”
“Well, I mean, that's probably the most interesting thing about me,” Dari said. “...If I had to think about anything else I'd probably say...I like to garden?”
“That's a good one,” Camilo said. “Yori, you're next.”
“Ooh, okay.” Yori sat up straight smiling. “I'm Yori. I'm, uh, five days pregnant and an interesting thing about me is...hm...”
“Wait, how do you know so soon?” Nathan asked.
“Know what?” Yori asked.
“That you're pregnant. After only five days.”
“Oh. I just know things like that.”
“I wish I could know that fast,” Marcita huffed. “It would make my job a lot easier.”
“Oh, an interesting thing I guess would be that ice cream cake is my favourite type of cake,” Yori said.
“Good choice,” Nathan commented.
“That means I'm next,” Marcita said. “I'm Marcita Ferrer and I'll be due in two weeks. I surrogate for a living but I don't have any children myself. I am working on my masters in astrophysics.”
“Wow, I wish I had the time and energy for a degree like that,” Nathan said.
“When it's your passion, it lightens the lode,” Marcita said. “I'm sure I wouldn't have the patience for a teaching degree. I love tutoring Dari's son and I love that, but I couldn't imagine a class full of kids. I'd have a breakdown.”
“You get past the breakdowns after a couple years,” Nathan joked.
“I guess I'm next,” Camilo said. “Most of you know me pretty well, but anyway, I'm Camilo Ferrer, Marcita's anxiety boy clone, haha, and...um... Oh, I'm twenty-two weeks along. And an interesting thing about me, I guess, would be... I mean, I'm also in school to be an astrophysicist, but that's taken so, I guess... I haven't stopped craving mangoes since the beginning of this pregnancy.”
“Mangoes are so good,” Fay said. “The whole concept of fruit is amazing.”
“And that leaves Nathan,” Camilo said. “Last but definitely not least.”
“Right. Okay, I'm Nathan Cassidy,” Nathan introduced himself. “I teach at APID E. I'm uh... Fourteen weeks pregnant and—”
“Fourteen?!” Fay interrupted. “Are they quintuplets?”
“Uh, actually, my condition makes my pregnancy go faster so I’m about the same way along as Dari and Camilo,” Nathan said. “But, yeah, I’m also having twins.”
“Good luck. We’re a blessing and a curse,” Marcita said patting her brother’s shoulder. “Identical or fraternal?”
“Fraternal, I guess,” Nathan said. “They’re different, uh… They’re just different.”
“Ours are identical,” Dari said. “Saving the sexing for later.”
“Cool, I’m excited,” Camilo said. “Nathan, do you want to finish?”
“Sure. So, I guess the interesting thing about me would be…I used to dye my hair blond but now it grows out that way,” Nathan said.
“That is interesting,” Fay said. “You’re definitely not a merman, but are you some other kind of terrestrial non-human?”
“I’m human… I just have a condition,” Nathan said.
“You can’t tell he’s a wolf?” Yori asked, looking to Fay.
Nathan blanched and turned to Yori. “You…you know?”
“…” Yori blinked and looked around at the group’s shocked faces. “I thought it was obvious. He smells so much like it.”
“Yori… Not everyone has your canine sense of smell,” Camilo said. “That was private information…”
Yori frowned. “I’m sorry… I didn’t realise it was a secret.”
“What does he mean, you’re a wolf?” Dari asked. “Like…a werewolf?”
Nathan nodded, getting really nervous. “…I understand if you don’t want me in the group.”
Camilo frowned. “Nathan this is a safe space.”
“Are you dangerous?” Dari asked.
“Now, hold on, Dari,” Fay asked. “That’s insensitive.”
“How? It’s an important question.”
“Obviously if he is here, he’s not dangerous.”
“No, it’s okay,” Nathan said. “This is exactly what I wanted to avoid… I’m being treated. As long as I go to my room by eight tonight, I’m completely safe.”
“Yes, Nathan's never once had a violent incident since he's been here at APID,” Camilo said. “Even if he did turn here in the group, he isn't likely to hurt anyone.”
“Fay, I don't like this...” Dari muttered.
“My love, you trust Camilo, don't you?” Fay said. “I don't want to insult this poor man by mistrusting his presence before we've even gotten to know him. Lord knows he’s likely already judged just by the colour of his skin.”
“I’m not racist, this is werewolves we’re talking about,” Dari groaned.
“Do you want to talk about this in the hall?” Fay asked.
“Honestly, I’m not offended,” Nathan said. “I get it; I don’t want to be around werewolves either. I don’t want to have this condition.”
Dari clenched his jaw. “Dear god… I’m putting up with a lot these days… I will try to ignore the fact that you’re a werewolf.”
“Thanks,” Nathan said smiling a bit. “Honestly, knowing you’re having twins too makes me hope I can get to know you best. Makes me feel less alone in this.”
“Well… I do have the most experience in this circle,” Dari said. “So I can understand that. But, I don’t like big groups so don’t… Don’t expect me to be all talk…”
“Dari gets a lot of anxiety in groups,” Fay said. “I was hoping a small group like this though will help him get comfortable. Having a mix of friends and acquaintances just seems like a good start.”
“I get anxiety too, so you’re not alone,” Nathan said. “I was pretty scared to come to this group thing, but everyone seems really nice here.”
Camilo put his hands together. “I knew this was going to be a great group. Remember, everyone. We’re all different, we’re all going through different experiences, but we also will have a lot in common and the point of this group is to have a place we can talk out our feelings or share experiences knowing we can trust each other. I’m hoping this will be a benefit for all of us. I know it’s already making me feel better about some of what I’m dealing with just being around you guys, and we’ve barely started. So, please, enjoy yourself here, feel free to eat and bring snacks, and know we’re here for each other.”
“I love it,” Fay said. “Camilo, thank you for arranging this.”
“Yeah, it was a good idea,” Nathan acknowledge.
“I love sharing a brain with you, hermanito,” Marcita mused.
“Haha, thanks… So, uh, to start off the conversation… Marcita, why don’t you explain how you got into surrogacy?”
“Sure, I’d love to.”

PRIDE BOOK TAG
Enjoy!
E voi leggete libri a tematica LGBT+? Ne avete qualcuno da consigliarmi?
Lasciatemelo in un commento.

could you do your ship your mutuals but with like a summer theme? Like what kinds of summer dates they would go on or what they would do in the summer and how it would go?
DAMN THIS GON BE LONG PREPARE URSELF! Bang Chan: When I think of Bang Chan i think of staying up really late at night and working really hard on a project or something so i would put him on a date with @bangchanmix !! i feel like rena ALSO DOESNT SLEEP MUCH (its 70% true she always asks me to sleep but think abt it, we live in the same country and its 2am ??? go to sleep rena) so like the date will be really casual like going out to the convenience store by han river and buying ramen + cheese sticks + beer and then eating it together. its probably like 1am by the time they went out so theres that cooling night breeze and the relaxing river in front of them oooooooooooooooo Woojin: SOFT BOY HAS TO GO ON A CAFE HOPPING / SHOPPING DATE WITH @stk0t9 !! I ACTUALLY THINK THEY'LL FIT VERY WELL BECAUSE OF HOW EASILY MADDY GETS SOFT AND SENTIMENTAL ABOUT EVERYTHING!! Maddy will capture lots of photos of the food and woojin and woojin trying out all sorts of outfits. Then after she takes a photo she'll stay silent for a moment and out of the blue "I really appreciate you and your beautiful face" and then scarfs down a pastry, woojin will just be taken aback by the sudden compliment and them scunches his face in a cute way AAAHHMinho: OK SO MINHO GOES ON A DATE WITH @minhomygod AND HE TAKES HER TO A ZOO,, hear me out hear me out,, they go to a petting zoo first and Rach will be excited to see all the tiny animals she can touch and then she goes to touch a like a goat or smth. BUT THE GOAT MAKES A NOISE AND RACH JUMPS. Minho will laugh his ass off BUT he'll guide her hand to help pet the goat and even feed it (smooth) after the petting zoo they'll go to the reptile section where u can just iMAGINE MINHO STANDING SO CLOSE TO ALL THE SNAKE EXHIBITS THAT HIS BREATH CAUSES CONDENSATION ON IT. "Rach, I want to take one of these snakes home" Rach will be uber done with him and drag his impulsive ass out of the snake exhibit so they can see more cute animals like otters! Changbin: SUMMER = HOT = I DONT WANNA BE OUTSIDE = LETS GO ICE SKATING! I feel like he'll bring @softspearb to an ice skating rink to escape being all sticky and sweaty in the hot weather. He'll try to show off how great he is at ice skating in front of Ty and fall on his ass. Ty laugh the H e C C out of the situation and then skates off without him (she's tryna make changbin chase her ;) ) Then Changbin stands up and skates as fast as he can and they'll be those people on the ice holding hands and circling around,,they'll do little games like binnie pulling ty behind him and vice versa, heh Hyunjin: Even though summer has the worst heat to wait under the sun in he'll probably still take @hyyunjinn to an amusement park HAHA, first Cici will lecture him about how hot as hell it is but then falls into Hwang Hyunjin's pout and will do whatever to keep that boy happy. Hyunjin probably buys a drink for her everytime she finishes one bc he lowkey feels guilty that he dragged her out to stand under the sun for a rollercoaster ride. I ACTUALLY DK IF CICI CAN HANDLE RIDES? BUT IF SHE CANT hyunjin will hold her hand really tightly every single time and then flashes that perfect smile "dont worry, I'm here" then squeezes her hand, cici probably screams anyways HAHAJisung: JISUNG AND @maaatryoshka GOING TO KAREOKE PLACE AND JUST SINGING THEIR CUTE LIL HEARTS OUT, imagine the amount of laughs they'll share when the other fails to hit a note. Erin will probably be shy to sing in the beginning but she'll start to warm up once she starts rapping to one of the Stray Kids songs in the machine (rmb when Erin rapped to Matroshyka damn) Jisung will be hella impressed then does a full bow infront of her. JISUNG THEN FIGHTS BACK BY SINGING I LIKE YOU BY DAY6 FOR HER but then his poor voice cracked and ruined the sweet moment aaaaww but erin loves him anyway, i envision them just drinking a lot of iced drinks and eating lots of potato chips that afternoonFelix: Y O, LEE FELIX AND @hey-hey-chan AT WATERPARKS!! Aussie boy probably loves his waterparks and i think kris just recently went to one?? All you can hear from them is just their damn screams as they slide down a waterslide, Kris will probably have to calm Felix everytime they take on a new ride bc Felix is hella scared and Kris is hella enjoying the fact that Felix is scared. She'll laugh at him for a second but then calm him down once they reach the splash pool. They'll go onto one of those waterslides where u race the other person and Kris will win the race and just tease Felix the entire day with "OH MY GOD I WON! I WON! I BEAT FELIX!" And the probably made a bet where the loser has to buy the winner food "I WON"Seungmin: OH MY LORD WHERE DO I START?? I think arcade dates suit Seungmin and he'll go with @busanjeongin OO A NEW CONCEPT!! Seungmin will definitely try to win a huge ass toy from the crane machine for Chewy but I feel like she's an arcade master and she'll win SO MANY TICKETS and get a huge teddy bear prize herself and give it to seungmin instead HAHAHA. They'll try to play the car racing games but then give up bc the both of them would end up last in the race and just play DDR the rest of the time they are there. OR OR OR if THERES A RHYTHM GAME SEUNGMIN CAN EXPOSE HIS SKILLS AS A RHYTHM MASTER AND SLAY HITTING THE BEATS EVERYTIME, CHEWY WILL GO TO THE TAIKO DRUM AND ALSO GET A PERFECT SCOREJeongin: *cracks knuckles* its time to put my baby fetus ( @doublekn0t ) together with him and make them go city sightseeing, I think the both of them are actually pretty mature for their age and they are hopefully RESPONSIBLE enough to not get lost! J will be using her map in phone and will be able to understand how to get to a location really quickly while Jeongin is struggling to hold the map right side up. THINK ABOUT IT, Jeongin will be using that cute hello kitty polaroid of his and take so many pictures of them together or J with a really pretty view in the background aaaawwww. They would probably be cautious walking into stores by themselves so they probably play rsp and the loser has to walk into the store first heh cuties
