omg i love everything you write why you so gooddd
i wanted to know, if requests are open? i dont know how it all works, i rarely use tumblr ^^"
if yes, can we have another part of Why Ten?
Damian does not want to do this, but his father is giving him no choice in the matter. Apparently, the man thought he owed Daniel a proper apology for his behavior while under the effects of a concussion.
Why does that mean Damian was the one suffering? Ugh, he should turn back. Tell his Father he failed in the mission assigned to him and take whatever punishment it would earn him. Surely it would not be as nerve-wracking or as nauseating as standing here would be?
Damian is about to do that, turning towards the run-down porch steps when the front door swings open. Only his training stops him from stumbling in place like a fool.
A man in a purple shirt raises a brow at him. He is shockingly handsome in a near-offputting way. The part that ruins his beauty is his lack of emotional expression. Damian had seen plenty of ninjas who trained years to craft the perfect impassive mask, but even they showed some signs of humanity.
This man does not.
Damian scrambles to straighten his back and raise his chin, cursing his palms for becoming sweaty. It's a nervous tick he's never been able to control, and he really hopes the other can't tell.
After all, he is Daniel's aloof uncle. As much as he questions how involved he is in his friend's life, this man still means a lot to Daniel. Damian wants to make a good impression on him.
"Can I help you?" His voice belies his humble station, reminding Damian of the aristocrats of his upbringing.
"Is Daniel Fenton home?" Damian asks back, fighting to bite his tongue at what could have been disrespectful. He meant to ask if it was alright to see his friend, as he had come calling for him, but somehow, his panicked voice became more biting.
More like the aggressive Robin than the spoiled Wayne.
The man's face doesn't twitch, mouth firmly shut. Damian waits a few seconds before pushing more words out of his mouth. "Does Daniel Fenton live here?"
Nothing. Just a dead-set stare that seems to drag Damian's very soul out of his body. His heart rate picks up as he suddenly wishes he had brought his katana along. This is the worst mission he's ever been on.
Taking a few steps backward- not cowering! Damian Wayne does not cower- Damian stammers. "Does Daniel Fenton even live on this street?"
He is about to run for it when the man finally speaks. "Danny is in his room. You brought flowers. Why?"
Damian risks looking down at the bouquet Alfred recommended, clutched in a death grip. He had nearly forgotten about them.
Damian was unsure of the proper custom for inviting a friend for dinner as a formal apology for past behavior. His father had insisted that he be the one to request Daniel's presence as he was the one the other boy was friends with. Despite not being anywhere near prepared, he had thrown Damian out of the manor with the instructions to extend the invitation.
The young Robin quickly realized that he was severely underprepared and had chosen to seek wisdom from the sanest family member. The old butler assures him that the flowers are a class act, even if few youths participate in the effort.
The dozen red roses would make Daniel feel special and increase his chances of success.
None of which he could tell Mr. Clockwork about. So Damian settles for a helpless shrug which makes the man's other eyebrow raise. It's a bit unsettling how little emotion that action causes.
"Danny! Can you come down here?" The man doesn't raise his voice but somehow sharpens it. Damian finds himself standing at attention upon hearing it without real thought.
Was Mr. Clockwork in the military?
"What's up?" Daniel calls from further in the house. At the sound of his voice, butterflies appear in Damian's stomach. He fights not to fidget, especially with Mr. Clockwork staring him down like the grim reaper valuing a soul.
He used to think Father was intimating. Fool he.
"Dami?" His friend appears over Mr. Clockwork's shoulder. His hair is upkeep, his clothes are old and withered, and he not wearing shoes or socks.
In all cases, he does not look his best, yet still, Damian could find no fault in his appearance. Just like his uncle Daniel was unfairly, inhumanly attractive.
His heart launches in his chest when Daniel's face lights up, recognizing him a second after his confusion. "Dami! Hey, what's up?"
"I have a message for you," he hears himself say from far away, staring helplessly into his blue dazzling eyes. Mr. Clockwork narrows his eyes as Daniel tilts his head.
"Why didn't you text me then?"
"It would not be formal to request in a text. I wish to invite you to dinner." Damian blurts, watching with small horror as an emotion finally starts to build on Mr. Clockwork's face.
It's rage.
"Dinner?" Daniel repeats, his eyes flickering to the flowers in his hands. Damian, with a start, remembers he forgot to give them to him before asking. He thrusts them towards his friend, his heart actually starting to hurt from how fast it's racing. Is it hot all of a sudden?
One of the rouges must have done something to weather again.
Daniel is frozen in the doorway, staring at the outstretched flowers and Damian like he's grown a second head. This is all horrible, and he truly wishes he would die right this very second to spare him.
Father has forsaken me, Damian thinks in near hysteria It's the only explanation for forcing me to do this.
"Oh." Daniel finally breathes, taking the flowers as gently as he can. He presses his nose to them, taking a soft sniff that does not hide the tiny but bright smile growing on his face. "I'd love to have dinner with you, Dami."
Damian is fighting bile as the butterflies decide that right now is the perfect time to revolt in his stomach. He once climbed a mountain with a broken arm and no food or water, and yet, somehow, this was far more difficult. It takes three attempts to get the saliva down his throat before he can speak. "Splendid. This Friday, at seven. I shall have a car arranged to pick you up. Does that work for you?"
"It's a date," Daniel confirms, his eyes soft in a way Damian has never seen. It's a beautiful sight were it not for the utter death stare that Mr.Clockwork settles him with. Damian can't explain it, but he is sure he felt years fall off his lifeline.
"Wonderful. Good day. You too, sir." Damian doesn't fully run, but it feels like he does as Daniel waves him goodbye and Mr.Clockwork yanks him back inside, one last glare thrown his way.
It's not until hours later when he lies in his room after doing an insane amount of training to burn off the sudden energy, that Damian realizes he failed the mission anyway.
He forgot to inform Daniel that it was a family dinner hosted by his father, and the entire Clockwork/Fenton household was invited. He would have to go back tomorrow to correct himself.
He grabs a pillow to smother his scream.
________________________________________________
Bruce jerks in his seat. "Was that Damian screaming?"
"Let the poor lad be, Master Bruce," Aldred tells him without glancing up from his gardening magazine. "He is trying his best.

Tim Drake x male!reader
Category: [Fluff/sfw/comical(?)]
Warnings: 5/5 bat-bros (Dick, Jason, Tim, Duke and Damian), male reader. Mention of Cassandra. 4/5 bat-bros don't believe Tim could go to therapy at all (I doubt any of them would). Reader uses Spanish pet names. May be too OOC.
Request: Yes / No | From: Anon.
«Hey! Could you please write Tim Drake x reader? Basically Tim is secretly dating a guy and they nostly hang out at school, his brother's get a bit too curious and listen in <3»
Note: My first request! Glad to have you here <3 I apologize if this isn't linked to your ask, Tumblr for some reason wouldn't let me edit it. I only had the options "delete" "program publication" and "post". Also, sorry this is short and if I got the characters personality wrong, I don't really know how to write Tim.
Resume: Tim and reader are dating, but they mostly just spend time in their school. His brothers got curious, and since all of them were raised by the world's best detective, is up to them to resolve the mystery that is Tim's relationship.

"I swear there's something strange in the kid's behavior," Jason muttered as he sat down on the couch, next to Damian while Duke was sitting on the other extreme. Dick was standing in front of them.
The four brothers (Cass also noticed, but Cass being Cass had already found out what it was), noticed that the brother —that was currently disappeared from the manor— had slight changes in his behavior.
It was sort of positive, they noticed. But they didn't know what caused it (therapy was discarded as an option by group agreement).
"Maybe he's self-improving for once?" Duke suggested, though he didn't sound convinced himself.
"TT. Doubt that Drake of all people could self-improve his pathetic self," Damian rolled his eyes.
"Damian, be nice," Dick sighed, looking at one of his baby brothers.
"Well, there must be a reason of why this small change." Jason crossed his arms.
"...And if we follow him to find out the reason?" Duke suggested.
"Wouldn't he notice?" Dick raised an eyebrow.
"It won't hurt giving it a try," he shrugged.
"I say we do it. What can end up wrong?" Jason pointed out.

"All of this is ridiculous," Damian murmured.
"You agreed to it Habibi," Jason hummed, making Damian click his tongue.
The brothers managed to follow Tim to his school. That was the moment they noticed a male getting closer to Tim with a smile.
You were a new addition, they quickly realized. As they had never seen you before with Tim. And Tim seemed at ease with you.
"A boy?" Dick said amused. "That's the cause for Tim's subtle change?"
Don't get him wrong, his baby brother can date whoever he wants. He was just surprised Tim changed because of someone else.
"Who is dumb enough to be interested in him?" Damian replied, clearly not believing what he was seeing.
"That guy we just saw, apparently," Duke hummed.

"Everything okay, Amor?" You asked Tim, as he seemed to be slightly on edge.
"Yeah...I just feel like someone's watching me." Tim replied, sighing as he left his head rest on your shoulder. He was tired, you could tell.
You hummed softly as one hand came to brush his hair out of his face.
"When did you last slept?" You asked him, quietly enough for no one else to hear you.
Tim grumbled quietly, avoiding the question.
"Cariño, when did you last slept?" You asked again with a small sigh.
"Tim."
"You asked."
"Do I have to drug you for you to sleep properly?" You murmured, gently massaging his scalp.
"Mmm....maybe," Tim replied back, closing his eyes as he left you touch his hair.
"What am I supposed to do with you, Amor?"
"Love me," Tim replied.
"I already do that, it's easy," you said amused.
Tim grumbled some sort of answer that you couldn't process.
"Yeah, you're definitely sleep deprived, Amor."

Dc x Dp Prompt #27
Technically speaking, despite all the teasing, Johnny 13 and Kitty really are Danny's ex's. No matter how short they dated.
So, of course Johnny and Kitty would be some of the first of Danny's rogue gallery to become more friendly with him. What he didn't expect for them were to be so couple like.
Fast forward a bit to where Danny moves to Gotham to go to Gotham U. He really isn't a hero anymore, but he still flies around as Phantom and gets to fights every now and then with a stray ghost. Sadly for him, the last fight he got into was with Johnny and Kitty.
The same Johnny and Kitty who were slowly riding alongside him as Danny walked down the streets of Gotham in his human form, head down to stop the embarrassed flush from being seen from others.
"C'mon, Danny, babe! It was only a bit of fun!" Johnny said to him as he kept his bike steady as he rode down the street. Though, with how chaotic Gotham is, he could probably crash into a few street signs and trash cans and no one would bat an eye.
"A bit of fun? Your 'bit of fun' left bruises all over me! Especially on my neck. I have to wear this because of you." Danny hissed in return, tugging on the long hoodie that he was wearing.
Kitty rolled her eyes from her spot sitting behind Johnny, leaning over and brushing a hand against Danny's shoulder before he pulled away deeper into the sidewalk.
"Don't be like that, hun. You know that they'll heal quick." She said, causing Danny to roll his eyes.
"Oh please. That's what you said last time. Honestly, it's like you guys try to get me as bruised as much as possible." Danny grumbled.
Johnny scoffed and looked away from Danny. "Bet you don't complain this much when you fight Ember." He muttered to himself. But thanks to Danny's advanced hearing, he most definitely heard it. of not by the glare he was giving the biker was anything to say about it.
"You see, this is why I broke up with you-" The argument between the biker couple and student continued as the three argued with each other all while keeping the same pace down the road.
Damian Wayne, having been forced to go out with both Tim and Duke for some sort of bonding time as Drake had called it, was confused with what he just saw before him.
He recognized Fenton from recently joining his school and found that while he wasn't social, there didn't seem anything that he found seriously searching into. But now, as he watched said classmate walk away while arguing with a seemingly known biker and his girlfriend. Both who were seemingly in a past relationship with him.
"Heh, look at that, Damian. Seems like you're the only one in your school who isn't in a relationship." Tim teased, ruffling Damian's hair. The young Wayne scoffed and immediately pushed Tim's hand away from him. "I have no need for such relations. Even now it seems that Fenton is facing his consequences. Whatever they may be." He said, walking down the street to return focus on what they were out for in the first place. Tim chuckling as he followed behind him.
The two made a few feet away before they stopped and turned when they realized Duke wasn't following them. "Duke? You alright?" Tim asked, turning and seeing that Duke was still in the same spot as before where they watched Damian's classmate disappear down the highway. But something about it had Duke's attention. And that had both Tim and Damian standing up straight in alarm.
"They were bright. Super bright." Duke murmured, rubbing his eyes as if he just had a staring contest with the sun. With how bright and opposing they were, they probably equaled the sun.
"What? The exes? What do you think then, some sort of meta?" Tim asked, thinking they would have to look into the biker couple.
"No-yes. Both!" Duke screamed, surprising Tim and Damian. "Both the couple and that kid were super bright. Brighter than anything I've ever seen!"
Edit: I just realized after writing this that the conversation could either sound like they had a fight or a rough night of sexy times XD

here i go again with "big brother dick grayson strikes again" prompts.
thinking of Dick probably helping his siblings on their first dates and offering to take them to the location.
Dick to Jason: Hey, Little Wing. I know you can take one of your motorcycles, but let me take you. You can just focus on being pretty.
Jason: Shut up, Dick. But, are you sure? I don't know why my hands feel a bit numb-
Dick, takes Jason's hands on his to warm them up and untighten the nerves there: It's okay. I got you. You're okay. It's going to be okay. Don't stress yourself out.
Jason: I know I fucked up many times, Dick. I don't want.. I don't know what to do if I fuck this up.
Dick, brings Jason closer: Shh. You won't, Jay. You're very smart and strong, and so so caring and you don't even realize it it. Ask the kids at the Alley, they idolize you. Roy adores you and everything you do. He knows who you are. And trust me, I'm not that bitter anymore of one of my best friends dating my younger brother.
Jason smiles which warms Dick's heart, making him smile too.
Dick: Plus, we wouldn't want Ollie to think that a Wayne cannot dress up and be romantic right?
Jason grins this time.
Dick to Tim: Timmy, I have a great idea! I'll drive you there. I know you're tired from work already. Just let me know which restaurant then you can rest a bit when we travel there.
Tim: It's okay, Dick. You're also tired from your shift. I'll just let Kon know I'll be late for a few-
Dick: No, no. If you want to rest first, let him know, he'll understand. But I'll still take you.
Tim: But, Dick...
Dick: Nah-uh. I didn't drive you to prom, remember? Let me do this, Baby Bird. And for me to also look out for Lex, just in case he bothers Conner again. We don't want that happening in the middle of your date.
Tim, laughs: Well, Kon will just have to drag Lex's ass to space.
Dick laughs with him.
Dick to Cass: Aww, you look beautiful, Cass. So where you going? Where will you meet Steph?
Cass, fixing her necklace: By her house.
Dick: Great! I already know where that is. I'll drive you there. We don't want to ruin your beauty. I mean, that's totally impossible, but I want you to just relax before the date.
Cass, blushes: I can do it.
Dick: Of course, you can. But I want to. Pretty please, pretty please. I'm a little protective over my sister.
Cass, rolls her eyes fondly but smiles: Of course. Thank you.
Dick: You're most welcome. And tell Steph if she does something extreme like set some fireworks, tell her to lay off with those energy drinks she started on her diet.
Dick to Duke: Little D, Little D! Don't even try to say no cus maybe your brothers and sister have already told you, but this is kinda my tradition now. I'm taking you to your first date.
Duke: They did tell me. But, Dick.. I don't want to be a burden. Weren't you injured-
Dick: No, no. That was like last week. I'm good. As long as you're good with me to take you, right? Now, I don't want to be the burden.
Duke, smiles: Never.
Dick, smiles and gives Duke a side hug: Then you're never a burden too, Little D. A big bro has to look out for the younger ones. Plus, I can say that you dressing up nice comes from my influence.
Duke, chuckles: Who else am I looking up to, right?
Dick to Damian: Shush, Dami. I know you're dating a super, and he can come and get you without a minute to spare, but tell Jon I'll be taking you.
Damian: Richard, please. I'm already at the right age.
Dick, puts a hand on his little (not so anymore) brother's shoulder and he refuses not to tear up (he fails ofc): I know, you've grown up so much, Dami. So much, since I made you Robin. But please, it will make me really happy to do this. It will give me peace, in some way. It sounds ridiculous, but yes.
Damian, doesn't even try to hide the fond he has on his face: Alright, Richard. I'll let Jon know.
Dick: He's not taking you somewhere out of Gotham or Metropolis, right? Cus then we'll have to take the Batplane.
Damian, chuckles: It's in Metropolis, don't worry.
Dick: Phew. I was as nervous as the time I took Tim on his date.
so....
maybe after a few years on Dick and Wally's wedding day, Dick's younger siblings will be walking with him on the aisle by his side and Bruce, their Father, on his other side of course. and they're thankful that the aisle is wide enough to fit the whole Wayne kids. Dick is a crying mess and he hasn't even reached Wally yet by the end of the aisle. because he's genuinely happy to have his siblings take him to the love of his life this time.

DP x DC Prompt: Kindred Spirits
(aka yet another prompt where Ari accidentally writes a oneshot instead of a prompt because they get overly excited about their ideas. Inspired by the Danny Phantom episode Kindred Spirits (hence the name))
President Luthor passed a handful of laws, countless half-assed laws that sent the goverment into chaos and made a mountain of paperwork for the League. That mixed with a handful of attacks in different areas of the world that needed their attention, the fact that one of their most dangerous enemies was in charge of an entire country, and a handful of other variants they were too buried to be aware of the Anti-Ecto Law and the calls that kept getting blocked by the Government to their systems, alerting them that somebody was potentially in some kind of danger.
It wasn't until Clark and Bruce were visiting his parents in Kansas though that they realized just how much they were missing. It was a type of play-date (though they refused to tell Damian that was what this little adventure was called) which was to allow Damian a chance to play with Jon and see the animals the lived on the farm, it also gave Bruce some time away from the city after an injury required him to take two weeks off to allow his shoulder to recover.
Bruce was fine, it was Clark who was worried.
Bruce was watching the two boys play as Jon taught Damian more about milking cows as well as explaining why it was important to do such when both Jon and Clark both stopped suddenly and looked West.
After a moment Jon let out a very worried, "Dad..?"
"I hear it, Jon. You and Damian go inside and get some lunch." Clark said as Jon nodded, then practically dragged Damian away, much to Damian's complaint.
"What's wrong?" Bruce asked as Clark glared west.
"Screaming, specifically a teenager. It's muffled and echoed like he's underground. Whoever is screaming is in trouble."
Bruce frowned, jogging over to his car climbing inside as he quickly began to change into his costume as Clark zipped into the house then zipped back out in costume. "Can you follow the sound?"
"As loud as it is? No problem." Superman said as Bruce pulled on his cowl.
"Good. Take us there."
Superman didn't hesitate to grab Batman's good hand as the two went into the air and flew in the direction of the sound. Batman had no idea what to expect when they arrived as they flew through the Colorado Mountains, but a mansion of a cabin with no cars out front seemingly abandoned was the last thing he expected.
At first there was no sign of anybody or anything in the area. No neighbors, no cars, no sign of a break in, not even any noise that Bruce could hear, only proving to Batman once more that Superman's hearing was nothing to take lightly.
"Where?" Batman asked as they landed.
"Directly under the house. But... it's gone quiet. Too quiet."
Batman frowned, looking at the house and the insignia on the front of it. "Vlad Masters."
"Who?"
"Vlad Masters. He's one of the names on Lex Luthor's paperwork, supplies him with some of his 'space tech' and 'energy'. His business has always been shady but it's always been 'mysterious clean' whenever we look into him." Batman said as he went to the door, using his tech to hack into the security system before they entered the house.
Animal pelts, hunting trophy's, countless other signs that it was some kind of glorious vacation home also suggested that nobody was home. The fire was cold, there was no sign of life, but there was something green on the floor near a wooden vanity that had been broken in half and recently.
Suddenly, Batman heard a low but muffled voice should from near the fireplace.
"YOU EXIST TO SERVE ME! JUST DO IT!"
Batman glared as they both ran towards the fireplace as Batman began to adjust some of the statues when the head of a Vlad bust rolled open at the forehead exposing a red button. Before he could hit the button though there was another voice, this one was clearly a young child.
"YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!"
"NO! NO!"
Batman clenched his teeth as he hit the button, the fireplace beginning to open in front of them. Suddenly there were lights on that he could see which lined the staircase. The two began to rush down the stairs, following the sounds of people talking when the young voice spoke again.
"I can do this..." The voice echoed.
"You don't have to. Cover your ears and get behind me."
Batman and Superman made it to the basement just in time to see what happened next. A man with black hair who was dressed as a vampire was approaching two children, a teenage boy and a girl closer to twelve. They both had white hair, green eyes and black and white suits. They looked like siblings, or cousins.
Regardless of their relationship the boy was in front of the girl protectively, sucking in a deep breath before an absolutely horrifying noise ripped it's way out of the boy in a wave of green. Superman immediately smacked his hands over his ears and Batman found himself doing the same thing but he didn't take his eyes off of what was happening in front of him. Machinery and tech was knocked off of the walls, the round cracked, and the vampire was thrown away from him and slammed into the far wall.
The amount of power coming from this one kid was intense and something Batman had never seen before, and judging by the look on the vampire's face it was something he hadn't been expecting from him either. Batman looked back at the boy, who seemed to be getting more pale by the second, his body shaking as tears pricked at the corner of his eyes simply from the amount of energy the ability he was using must have taken.
It wasn't until the vampire seemed to transform from it's vampire appearance to a more familiar appearance of Vlad Masters, a sight that Batman honestly didn't expect to see in such a situation but not one that exactly surprised him either. If Vlad was a meta that made some of the things that didn't make sense before a lot clearer.
Finally, the boy had no energy left as the yell - or rather the wail - cut off, dropping everything that had been thrown against the wall including Vlad. A similar white ring surrounded the teen as he seemed to transform from a white haired green eyed teen to a black haired blue eyed teen that immediately crumbled to his hands and knees. He had bruises from fighting, but the bigger concern were the bruises on his wrists that were clearly from restraints of some kind.
Was the boy the one Superman heard scream?
The young girl checked on the boy, who was shaking and looking like he was seconds away from passing out.
"Out of power... but worth it to take this place down..." He said, seeming to notice Batman and Superman with wide eyes, but the others didn't seem to spot them yet.
Vlad got up and started marching his way towards the kids, transforming back into his vampire appearance as the girl blocked the boy.
"Stay away from him!" She said, her hands glowing green as a puddle of green began to form under her feet.
"Oh, I don't think so girl, you don't dare use your powers again. Danny's beaten, this is over!"
Batman and Superman launched into action as Batman threw one of his batterangs passed Vlad's face, causing him to jump away from the teens. Vlad turned, seeming to expect somebody else but then being absolutely shocked and almost frightened when he saw who was standing in front of him.
"Superman and Batman? Here?" He growled, his hands glowing as he glanced passed them at the kids who seemed almost as frightened as he did. "I can save you both, you know? Take you away from them and keep them safe."
"Think... we're safer away from you, you absolute Fruitloop." The boy said, trying to get up just to stumble and fall again as the girl seemed ready to protect him from Superman.
Vlad laughed, "We'll see about that, Daniel. If you think I'm dangerous... imagine what they'll do with the truth." Vlad suddenly shot up into the air, flying through the ceiling.
"I've got him!" Superman said, flying up the stairs after Vlad while Batman turned to face the two kids.
"Stay back!" The girl warned, her hands glowing again as the puddle started to grow.
Batman held up his hands, taking a step back. "It's alright, nobody's going to hurt you. What's your names?"
The girl looked at the boy who seemed to be fading fast. "If you help him and don't hurt him... I'll tell you everything but if you hurt him... I'll destroy you." She warned.
Batman nodded, "I'll help him, I promise."
She relaxed, finally allowing Batman closer to the teen who looked up at him and tried to move away just to end up falling to the side instead. Batman put his hand out, supporting the teen before helping him sit up more steadily.
He looked at the bruises on the kids wrists then at the container behind him which had shackles in similar shapes and sizes to the bruises on him. Whatever this was, whatever Vlad Masters was doing, clearly surrounded this boy. That meant they had to get him out of there.
Batman carefully picked the teen up, surprised at just how light he was. Did this kid eat? He adjusted his hold on the teen who put his head against Batman's shoulder with a tired sigh as the girl grabbed Batman's cape. He gave her a soft smile before the three of them started marching up the stairs, meeting Superman at the top who sighed.
"He took off towards the North-East." Superman said as Batman nodded with a 'Hm'. "So, what are your names?"
"I'm... I'm Dani and this is Danny." The girl said.
"Two Danny's?" Superman asked, "Doesn't that confuse your parents?"
"Considering my dad is Vlad, I'm guessing not." Dani huffed.
"She's... my clone..." Danny muttered, exhausted as both Superman and Batman blinked in surprise. "But you're not allowed to hurt her. Made by Vlad or not she's my family and I'll protect her..."
"Nobody's going to hurt anybody." Batman promised, "For now we're going to get you somewhere safe and figure things out. Superman, call Flash and tell him where we are, we're going to need a pick up."
Superman nodded, reaching to grab his League Communicator as he walked away while Batman set Danny down on one of the couches.
"Okay, there you go. What did that guy mean when he implied that we were dangerous to you? What do you all think we're going to do to you?"
Dani shrugged as Danny looked at him.
"Anti-Ecto Control Act... what I am, what Plasmius is, what Dani is... we all fall under a law that says we're non-sentient. The law says that anybody with ectoplasm in our blood is to be captured, contained and destroyed. Which means that legally you should be trying to kill us... not help us."
Batman frowned, "I've heard of the law, didn't think it held ground and least of all enough ground to follow." His frown faded as he gave the kids a reassuring smile. "Plus, I'm technically a vigilante, that's hardly legal too. So, what the law doesn't know won't hurt them. Besides, you guys seem plenty sentient to me."
The two Danny's smiled before Dani let out a sniffle as she rubbed her eyes.
"I'm sorry... Danny... I'm sorry." She sobbed, hugging onto the older Danny who hugged her back.
"It's okay, Danielle... it's okay."
It wasn't okay. None of this situation was okay. But, Batman would do everything in his damn power to make sure that it was fixed as soon as possible.

Danny had origallany moved into this new world filled with hope and optimism. Heck, the city he moved to was named Metropolis for ancients sake and was protected by a colorful man in red underpants. He had rights in this world as a "metahuman" and he didn't need to protect anyone with all these superheros around. It was perfect.
Or so he thought.
It all started when he met and subsequently flirted with a man named Tom Davidson. They clicked almost instantly even while his little brother Damian gave Tom the stink eye. Eventually they had to leave and they happily gave thier farewells. Danny later kicks himself for not getting Toms number.
Damian confronts Tim, asking why he lied and Tim responded that he didn't want to be out as Tim Drake: Gotham Rich Guy and wanted to be normal for a while, which Damian reluctantly accepted. Tim thinks this was more because he didn't want to escalate and get into even more trouble with Bruce. That was how he got stuck with a babysitter in the first place.
"Tom" and Danny meet again a few weeks later outside of a coffee shop and they recognize eachother. Danny waves him over and they drink coffee together and chat. Afterwards Danny asks him out to coffee and they set up a time and date.
Danny didn't think asking his crush out would be this easy.
Tim actually didn't realize he'd been asked out on a date date and is just happy to hang out with someone he shares so many hobbies with.
After weeks of accidental dating, Danny invites Tim out to a fancy restaurant for a date and nothing goes as planned. First, a snobby waitress had tried to give out the table Danny had made reservations for (the one in the most romantic part of the restaurant and thus he had to pay extra) to one of her own friends and thier own date and Danny had ask the manager what was going on which got the manager involved and the girl got fired. She got dragged out yelling about who her daddy was. So already not a good night.
Both Danny and Tim were kinda awkward after that. But wait, there's more! The lady who was supposed to get the table for free thanks to her friend tried going full Karen, much to the horror of her date, who told her off and broke up with her right then and there. Fireworks ensued but Tom and Danny were seated soon after so they didn't get to see the rest. The restaurant did offer to give them complimentary desert as an apology, which was nice.
Danny said something like, "I was expecting dinner, but the show was a surprise!" Which broke the ice and got them laughing and chatting while they waited for thier meals. At some point while eating Tom perked up and said he needed to go to the bathroom and rushed off quickly. Danny thought it was odd, but blamed his paranoia on the fact he used that excuse so much to get away from situations and go play hero.
At first thats what he thought Tom was doing when he didn't come back for a while, so Danny got up and went to the bathroom to confirm his suspicions. Instead of an empty bathroom he saw Tom in there kissing some blond guy.
Danny just turned around and left without making a sound. What fresh soap opera hell was this? He walked up to thier waitress and explained the situation. She quickly got his food boxed up with both his and Toms complimentary deserts (he'll take a victory here no matter how petty) and he paid the bill and gave her a large tip before speedwalking out the door.
He ghosted Tom after that. It was a good thing he never Gave Tom his address he guessed.
He didn't see Tom for almost a month before he ran into him at a farmers market in Gotham accompanied by an elderly man in a sling. Tom introduced the man as Alfred. Alfred was very polite. Danny, however, was not. "Why are you introducing him to me?" He asked bitterly. "We're not friends."
"We're not?!" Tom asked, having the audacity to look shocked.
Danny nearly growled, but didn't want it getting out that he was anything other than perfectly human, so he bit his cheek and turned to walk away. Unfortunately for both Danny and Tom, the latter had grabbed his wrist to keep him from leaving and Danny snapped.
He grabbed the first thing he could, which was a cabbage from a nearby cart. Ignoring the owners shout of "My Cabbages!" He proceeded to absolutely hail down veggie based pain onto the creep that broke his heart. He slapped a fifty into cabbage guys hand before he turned and left in a huff.
By the time Tim recovered he was covered in veggies and bruises and very confused. Tim decided he had a new case: What the heck did I do???
Danny was mad cause he keeps running into his cheating ex. He had agreed to let Lex Corp send him out to Gotham for a few weeks on a business trip in hopes of avoiding the guy but now he's seeing him everywhere.
Angry and tired, he was not pleased to hear shouting and explosions outside his street. He opened his window and saw the Joker fighting the local hero and yelled at them to keep it down. The Joker was momentarily distracted and got his lights punched out by Batman for it.
Danny didn't think anything of the incident after that, just rolling over into bed and falling asleep. Of course the Joker tracks him down and breaks into his hotel room to try and kill him. Which leads to Danny killing the Joker in self defense.
Theres a media crapstorm from this. Danny swears he heard Vicky Vale in his hotels vents but that may have just been him hallucinating. Some super hot guy with biceps that made Danny blush hugged him and thanked him. Hes not really sure what that was about but he was just glad this was over and he could leave this cursed city in a few days.
Then Batman broke in. Danny told him to scram and somehow it turned into a fight. Maybe Batman was trying to intimidate him. Maybe he was genuinely trying to beat up a 19 year old. Whatever the reason he had still broken into a guys hotel room and attacked him...which lead to Danny panicking and using his powers to get Batman off of him...unfortunately he used the wrong power- intangibility- and killed the man instantly. His organs were on the floor, soon followed by Dannys vomit when he saw them.
The bats got the alert of Bruces vitals stopping and went nuts. Danny looked at the corpse and decided now would be a good time to get the heck out of dodge.
Of course Red Hood shows up in his apartment in Metropolis. He sat at Dannys dining table cleaning his gun and asked Danny to take a seat.
Instead of threatening him like Danny expected he began asking questions. Mostly about some "Tim" guy. Eventually everything was cleared up. Danny was mad as a hornet finding out that "Tom Davidson" was actually Tim Drake and that he was 17 instead of 19, and that he was dating that blond guy from the restaurant and claiming he didn't even realize that Danny had asked him out, which Danny called bs on.
Danny felt somewhat sick at learning he had dated a minor, even if it was supposedly only technical and only for a month or so. Danny was 19 and Tim was 17 and Danny didn't think that was okay. Hood waved it off and had him explain the events surrounding the Joker and Batmans break ins and eventually told him that he would deal with the bats but told him to watch his back because the bats were grieving and it was hard to tell what they were going to do.

Description: Y/N Wayne meets a boy when looking for her father on the Watchtower.
Warnings: none, fluff
Word Count: 0.4k
Tumblr media
Should Y/N have been roaming around the Watchtower looking for her father? Probably not, but the Waynes weren't known for their decision-making skills. In fact, they were known for their detective skills which Y/N also lacked.
"Can I help you?" A voice, who sounded to be around her age. Y/N turned around and was surprised to see one of her favorite superheroes. His face mask was hidden, and she could see the handsome boy in the suit.
"Oh, you're Blue Beetle," Y/N said remembering what she read about him in her father's file. Well, it was Damian's file that Bruce took before lecturing him about not having a file on your teammates. Typical hypocrite Bruce behavior.
"How do you know that?" He and the scarab were on high alert.
"Well, the suit with a blue beetle on it is kinda a giveaway but can you help find my dad?" Y/N gestured and Jaime looked down before remembering what his suit looked like.
"Who's your dad?" Jaime asked while trying to cover up his slight embarrassment.
"Batman," Y/N said in a fake gravely voice which earned a small chuckle from Jaime.
"You're Damian's sister. He never stops talking about you and I've seen you on the news," His eyes widened, and realized that he might meet the end of Damian's sword if he continued this conversation. With the way that Y/N was batting her lashes, his possible death may have been worth it.
"Oh, well did you like what you saw?" Y/N saw an opportunity to flirt and took it. It was hard dating people who weren't a hero and Jaime was adorable.
"Y/N?" Bruce said surprised that his daughter made her way to the watchtower, especially considering she was his only civilian child.
"Hi, Dad. I brought you lunch or dinner. I don't know what time it is," Telling time was hard in space. Also, she had yet to see one clock in the entire time that she had been lost on the Watchtower. It was just a sea of endless stars and space.
"Beetle," Bruce said in a dismissive tone. He didn't know what occurred between his daughter and the teenage hero but he was certain that he didn't like it.
"I'll be leaving now," Jaime backed away slowly from the father-daughter duo.
"Bye, Jaime," His name sounded heavenly when falling from her tongue. The scarab belittled him for an increase in his heart rate and Jaime made a mental note to explain what a crush was.

Dispense advice and receive a surprise in this latest chapter of my Rhea Ripley x lady!reader fic
Warnings for this section: Stoner themes (mentions of being baked), dirty talk

Absolute Smokeshow (Part 49 of ?): Once You Reach
Once you open the door and step out, you realize just how baked you are; your body is a bit heavy and for a few seconds it feels almost like you're moving in slow motion as you look up and take in the vivid details of the trees in the parking lot, waving gently in the slight breeze. You turn around to the sight of smoke slowly exiting your car along with Damian, whose pink eyes and slight stumble tell you he's just as high as you are, if not more so.
"Now I see why Rhea has to be the one driving," you giggle, joining him on the slow walk back to the table.
"Hey, it's not that bad," Damian says, grinning a bit too much to sound defensive, "You can't stumble sitting inside a car."
"Yeah, no stumbling," you concede before continuing, "Just the dozens of other large, metal vehicles going at high speeds, driven by people with short tempers and powered by explosions."
"... You might have a point," he said before sighing - not sounding quite as sad as before but still looking across the distance between the two of you and the table, stopping in his tracks.
"If you haven't talked to him, you should," you say, realizing by Damian's reaction that he knew exactly what you meant, "Not that it's any of my business, but if it was me- when it's been me, talking about things honestly did a lot more good than being bitter ever did."
He seems to consider your advice for a moment before allowing himself a small grin.
"You're two-for-two on making good points," Damian admits, rubbing the back of his neck and looking away. You're sure you see his cheeks pinking up a bit, but decide not to say anything.
"Todo bien?" the familiar voice behind you makes you turn around to the sight of Dominik walking toward the two of you.
"Ningunos problemas," Damian replies before giving you an appreciative smile.
"Mira, can we talk?" Dom asks, looking at you this time.
"I have to see a man about a conversation, anyway," Damian says, winking at you, "Thanks, chica."
Dominik watches until Damian is out of earshot, a slightly puzzled expression on his face, before saying anything.
"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable earlier," he still seemed a bit embarrassed, but you could tell he was keeping a respectful distance and gauging your reaction to see if you felt unsafe, "I didn't know Rhea was going to do that and I- well, I think you're- um- anyway, I'm sorry."
Dominik's face was about as red as it was at the end of a particularly long match by the time he finished speaking.
"You don't have to apologize," you say once you're sure he doesn't have more to add, "I actually feel pretty comfortable around you since you helped me out at the show last night. Rhe's comment was just sort of out of left field and this is the first non-monogamous relationship I've ever been in. It's a lot really quickly, y'know?"
Dom nods, a relieved expression on his face, "If I do make you uncomfortable, just let me know."
"I appreciate it," you reply, smiling and taking in the way he looked at you before saying, "Earlier you said you think I'm- but you didn't finish your sentence." - Dominik, having calmed a bit since you reassured him, blushed intensely again - "So what do you think I am?"
He cleared his throat before messing with the collar of his shirt and admitting, "Muy hermosa - very pretty."
"Thank you," you respond, grinning harder and looking him up and down before adding "You're quite the pretty boy yourself" and winking before turning around and walking to the table, knowing full well Dom was caught off-guard and likely too flustered to respond. You may not be ready to date anyone else for the time being, but flirting was proving to be a lot of fun.
"Welcome back, babe," Rhea greeted you as you sauntered up to the table, noticing the only other person sitting with her was JD, "I don't know what you told him, but Damian asked Finn if they could talk and it sounds like he's going to apologize or something. So thank you."
"Everyone keeps thanking you today," Dominik says, finally catching up to you as you sit down, "Why is that?"
"Whatever the reason, you're both going to be thanking me here in a minute," Rhea says, pulling out a gift bag stuffed with tissue paper out of her messenger bag. From it, she pulled out a small box, handing the rest of the gift bag to you and the box to Dom.
"Go ahead," she says, leaning back in her chair and putting her hands behind her head, "Open them."
Pulling out the tissue paper on top, your eyes fall on a black leather collar whose ring has a heart-shaped silver tag hanging from it. Pulling it out, you grip the smooth leather and grab the tag, blushing when you read the engraved text: "Mami's good girl." When you turn over the tag and read the other side, it only makes you blush harder: "Slut."
Looking up, you see Dominik is holding a heart-shaped tag and realize Rhea probably already bought him a collar much earlier in their relationship.
"Show each other what Mami got you," she orders, watching you both shyly swap gifts to look at them before saying, "And don't forget to say thank you."
"Thank you, Mami," you and Dom say in unison, flustered because you both knew what the other was about to read.
His tag was similar to yours on one side: "Mami's good boy." However, you couldn’t help but raise your eyebrows when you read what was engraved on the other side: "Bitch."
Looking up, you see Dominik - blushing intensely once again - bite his lip and struggle to look at you as you give each other back your respective gifts. Rhea giggles, watching the exchange before you put your new collar back in the gift bag. Remembering JD, you turn to see him alternating between looking at his phone and looking up in the direction of the parking lot where, presumably, Finn and Damian were talking. You instinctively crossed your fingers underneath the table that your advice was exactly what the situation called for.

Hi! I saw that you write for Jon, Damian and Billy and decided to take this opportunity to request an imagine-
So basically Reader is wonder woman's daughter and her, Jon and Damian are best friends and form some kind of "Mini Trinity". The boys notice she's been busier a lot more lately and find out its because she's dating someone which is where Billy comes in. This part might be a bit ooc so feel free to ignore it! Damian and Jon ask to meet Billy and Damian is putting on his best "Hurt her and I'll go after you" attitude on while Jon is more on the nicer side but still a bit protective. tysm in advance 💞
OMGOMG I love this idea sm you don't even know!! I already know writing this is gonna be fun for me >:D
Spoiler Alert: This was very fun writing for me😼.

Batson and The Bat's Son

Prompt: You should've known you wouldn't have been able to hide it for as long as you wanted. You were lucky you had gotten away with it for this long. Of course, it's not that you didn't want to tell your best friends that you had a significant other. It was... just a lot harder when those friends were overprotective guys, and also literally the sons of Superman and Batman. But like, especially Batman...

"Valkyrie."
"Great Hera...!" You gasped at the montoned demand of your superhero name, jumping and whipping around faster than you could put away your glasses. But upon realizing it was only the infamous Boy Wonder, you relaxed. Letting out a huff and bringing the crucial part of your disguise back into view, you wanted nothing more than to land a blow worthy of launching him across the street onto his chest, but didn't, seeing as you had scoldings to deliver and your questions answered immediately first.
"I've told you time and time again not to do that, Damian! You wander this earth like a ghost, and I scare too easy for you to just...appear behind me like that!"
"I'm surprised you were alarmed at all. I would have assumed you'd known that I was with you the whole time."
Your eyes narrowed, and you pointed an accusing finger. "With me..." You mocked. "You mean you were following me."
"There would be no need for me to do such a thing if you weren't vanishing so often."
Your (E/C) eyes rolled, never once leaving the side of the alley wall. You ignored his words, arms crossing over your chest before your head lolled upwards towards the sky.
"I suppose Jon is here as well."
No response, not that you needed one at this point considering the circumstances.
"Listening in right now." You added matter of factly. "You can come down now, I know you're at least a mile away."
As if on cue, a loud booming sound went thundering overhead, like a canon being let off until Superboy himself came landing right in between the two of you. The gravel shook and cracked at his entrance, completely opposite to his awkward and smiley demeanor the moment his blue eyes focused on your pursed lips and knowing glare.
"...Hi."
"Hello, Jon." You greeted flatly before addressing the both of them. "What are you two doing here? Why are you following me?"
"There needn't be any reason for us to do so if you weren't sneaking around. The question now becomes: What are you hiding?"
"Nothing!" You hissed, trying your hardest to ignore the guilt panging in your chest at his words. "I'm not hiding anything, there's nothing to hide. I'm just-"
"-Avoiding us?"
Another tug at your heartstrings, the gleaming look in Jon's eyes hoping that what he had suggested wasn't truth. It surprised you that the boy would even think such a thing, you quickly expressing this with a swift shake of the head and more excuses.
"What? No! No, no, I'm not...avoiding you. Either of you. I'd never do that. You're two of my closest friends ever, I'm just-"
"-So you're hiding something."
"Damian...!" You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose at his second of the same accusation. And yet, you had no words to truly defend yourself. Hell, you couldn't even deny it! You weren't hiding something. You were hiding someone. But, just as quickly as you realized this, you had also come to the conclusion that they didn't have to know that. Your little secret could still remain just that. A secret.
"Yes, yes, I am. . . hiding something."
"Like what?" Jon pushed, already hovering circles around you in optimism. "Like a surprise type of something?!"
"Don't be naive, Jonathan. If that were the case, I would've found out sooner, and I'd know what it is already."
You giggled at their difference in personality, throwing out a quip of your own in hopes to de-escalate the situation.
"Well, know-it-all, it's good thing it's not a surprise something."
"Don't act as though you're off the hook." He responded curtly. "We're still standing in a desolate alleyway in the heart of Metropolis with no reason as to why, other than you're hiding..."
Flicking his wrist in your direction, he prompted a response from you that you were struggling to come up with. Their expecting gaze wasn't helping, and it left you to awkwardly fiddle with the arms of your glasses until you meekly let out a pathetic, "...Something."
"Something like what, though?" Jon egged further, to which Damian shook his head in dismay.
"More like who. 'Two of my closest best friends'?" He quoted words you hadn't even remembered you said, throwing more of his deductions into your face like this was a game of Clue. And goodness knows, at this rate, he was going to win.
"Two out of who, (Y/N)? Not to highlight your lack of social skills, but the only person you have to consider a friend would be Jon."
Jon coughed, rather harshly, in Damian's direction before he sighed and quickly grumbled, "And I as well, I suppose."
"Uh, rude." Was your only comment at first. Though you were not yet ready to admit defeat, a sigh escaped your lips and you came forward with the most honest demeanor you could throw on, looking into the green eyes of Damian behind his mask and then the blue ones of Jon.
"Look, you two are my best friends in this entire realm, okay? Nothing will ever change that, and I swear, there isn't anyone else."
There was a looming silence, and though Jon was satisfied with your expression of care by showing you another smile, Damian had decided on the more...intense route.
"Do you put that on your mother's life?"
"Dude..." Jon sighed. "C'mon..."
And before you could answer, the sound of metal clanking together immediately threw the trio of you into defense. Jon's eyes glowed a neon red while the 'slinth' sound of a katana being ripped from its case was heard, Damian aiming the pointed end towards the loud noise. And before you could even begin to put your mother's Lasso of Truth to good use, your face went deadpanned and you wanted nothing more than to slap the culprit who was struggling to put the two trashcans back in their places.
"Besides him..." You added to your last set of words, lowering your guard and urging the other two boys to do the same.
"Stand down, it's just..."
"Oh! Oh, (Y/N)! I did not at all see you there; Why aren't you in your disguise, wh-? ... Uh..." The man in glowing red and gold slowed both his actions and his words, his excited face shifting into one of confusion at your unexpected company.
"So, is this what you were unwilling to disclose?" Damian further pressed. "If a partnership outside of us was something you were searching for, I'm sure there were more...suitable... members of the league for you to choose from. Better yet, I can make a phone call, and you'd be allowed to choose."
With your heartbeat increasing at the predicament you had so recklessly caught yourself in, you wanted nothing more than to crawl into a pit and wither away. But, you had to keep level-headed. If you didn't, things would go very wrong in a matter of seconds. You didn't want that for your best friends, or...
"I'm sure you could, Robin, but I chose him. He's perfectly suitable for me, and shouldn't that be all that matters?"
He cocked a brow, further testing both your patience and your judgment while Jon was simply happy to learn that you've made a new friend.
"When did you guys meet?" He began to hover circles around the man dressed in lightning themed Greek wear. "I don't even think I've seen him around Metropolis before."
"I-...Well, yeah," he went to answer for himself. "That's 'cause all the cool stuff happens right here in Philly. You know... wizards...and dragons and such."
"You fought a dragon?!"
"Yeah, I've fought a dragon!" The super exclaimed enthusiastically. "It was made out of wood and spewed blue fire. It was awesome!"
Both you and Damian gave an eyeroll, his of unamusment while you were quick to state one less cool fact about the whole ordeal.
"And then it killed you."
"Wha-?!" He stopped himself, looking towards you before pointing a finger. "Yeah, but then I got resurrected! So it's all good, everything's good."
"Yeah, by my mother!" You added sternly. "Billy, I know you did what you had to that day, but you seriously need to learn to think things through, because I don't plan on having to resurrect you myself anytime soon."
"Yeah, well- I..." He stopped himself from replying to you, suddenly becoming aware of how casually you dropped his real name and how he wasn't supposed to respond to it. And before he could do anything to correct you, Damian had gone back to his analysis on the situation.
"And that's your reasoning for working with him? Because your mother has forced you into cooperation based upon the fact that she...resurrected him?"
"Well, no, not exactly." You attempted to clear up. "It was more of a meet-cute, and-"
"-Dude, do you even watch the news?" Jon interuppted your words, his smile growing bigger with each passing moment until he himself finally realized who this man was.
"He's one of the new superheroes here! He literally saved the world. Twice."
There was a pause in the air, Damian clearly having not paid any mind to the news (at least, not anything relating to whatever was happening in Philadelphia) and was still unimpressed by just the information being told.
Jon went on, this time in hopes to make it all sound just a little more appealing.
"It's not just him. Like I said, he's in a group. The...Philadelphia Fiascos, something like that."
You couldn't help but try and force back a giggle, knowing just how much the title irked the man standing in front of you as he threw and then dropped his arms against his sides.
"No, that is not our name. It's actually one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. It's definitely not my name. My name is Shazam."
And just like that, with a flash of lightning and a bolt of thunder, "Shazam" was now back to the original name you had given earlier.
"Oh shit-...." He cursed, but you struck an arm out before he could run off or say the word to change back.
"Don't bother." You sighed, taking in the surprised look on Jon's face and the expecting one on Damian's (because lord knows hardly anything surprises him at this point).
"This was all inevitable, I might as well get this over with..."
You inhaled, preparing your words of explanation to the three boys you admired most.
"I know I told you guys that you two are my best friends. You guys have been there for me through my worst and my best, and I'm forever grateful for that. My mother told me it was best that I made new friends. And I did. But... she didn't say anything about not having a boyfriend..."
Jon's eyes nearly widened out of his sockets at your words, Damian's stoic demeanor dropping for a mere split second before he slapped it right back on, hoping you hadn't noticed. But, you did, the shift in his aura already making you more nervous than you already were to introduce your boyfriend.
"You guys... this is Billy Batson."
There was a deafening silence, the four of you staring at one another as if someone was supposed to speak up first. And naturally, this troubled you, but you couldn't help but feel such a strong batch of weight fall from your shoulders.
Relief clouded over you unexpectedly and maybe even too soon, Billy leaning over to you with a hushed tone and a worried glance.
"Are...they supposed to know that?"
Sure, it might not have been your place to suddenly reveal his secret like that, but you figured that maybe it was for the best. Not to mention, he had basically done so on his own inattentive accord. It was just even more of a reason to somehow try and make this trio a quatro. A quartet? A...group of four friends, two of which are dating.
Yeah. Totally not awkward at all.
"Well, yeah, I don't see why not. It's the same as how I know that that's Jon Kent..."
And with a simple gesture over to the raven-haired boy repping his father's symbol of hope on his chest, he gave another wave and this time, an unsure smile towards the dude who he was now supposed to accept as your...boyfriend...
"...'Sup."
You turned towards the other, giving another throw of the hand in hopes to make and keep things seeming causal.
"...And that's Damian Wayne."
And though you hoped he'd at the very least show some form of peace, he kept his glare and stoic nature in tact, staring down Billy as if he were some low-life thug from Gotham City. Someone easy to beat to a pulp, should the boy prove he deserves such a fate in any way, shape, or form.
"(Y/N), how do we even know we can put our trust into this...imbecile? I thought you-"
"-You can trust him, I swear. You trust me, don't you?" You cut in before Damian could even finish his light scoldings. "Besides, he revealed himself to you-"
"-On accident." Billy quickly added, already wishing he hadn't. Wishing he was still in his grown, superhero form. At the very least, his own intimidation tactics would come from confidence rather than cockiness and might even actually work.
"But you did it." You reminded. "He did it. So it's only right that he knows who you are, too, you guys." You informed calmly.
"How did you even meet him? How do I know he can be trusted, (Y/N)?" Damian berated further, Jon nodding in agreement as you huffed in frustration. "This is just as reckless as it is dangerous, especially for you. You need to learn that these types of things can lead to your own downfall."
Before you could even give yourself a chance to think of a response (not even wanting to admit he could possibly be right), Billy had spoken up on your behalf, regardless of his outward appearance.
"Hey, look, I know you're super protective of her and all, I get it... but she can totally take care of herself. I've seen it firsthand. So, relax."
As if the atmosphere couldn't grow any thicker, you felt as though you'd choke on your own shallow breaths, watching the two stare down into each other's matching colored eyes with no intentions to back down. Jon quickly threw you a glance, knowing all too well how Damian tended to "appreciate" these sorts of challenges, and you were the last hope at stopping it, both physically and through your words.
You chose the latter, piping back up with a worthy story to back it all up.
"Like I said... It was a meet-cute."
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"Mother, I don't understand. I've learned all there is to know about this realm. I've read every book you've given me, and I've seen...so many things I wish I hadn't..." You raved on as you practically jogged to keep up with your mother's long strides.
"What more could I possibly have to gain?"
"Young (Y/N)..." She began, stopping abruptly in order to turn and face you.
"My sweet girl..." You looked up at her with curious eyes, still unsure as to why you two were left wandering the streets of a busy Philidelphia. Deep in the heart, the sea of people wading around your cloaked figures. Shooting you weird glances, but minding their business nonetheless while your mother cupped your chin.
"There is always something more to learn. Much to know, something else to discover. And, if you must take my word, the journey is worth it."
"But-"
"In time, you will see. But, for now, I have a rather important lesson for you today."
You were left befuddled at this bit of information, your brows knitting together as you wracked your brain for what the lesson could possibly be.
"I have completed all of my training. And I wasn't assigned a mission..."
"No, but you're not exactly ready for your tournament on the island, either." She teased with a smirk, leaving you to do sort of a 'har-har' motion with your head at the implication of your later-to-be-done trials on Themyscira. An island you had yet to go back to, having been born there and no memories after that once Diana had made the decision to bring you back to the land mortal man resided on.
"Today is a lesson of cooperation. Teamwork."
"Oh, mother..." You sighed frivolously. "I know how to work with a team. I-"
"I am aware of your allyship with Clark and Bruce's sons. I admire it, actually. You three are a lot more cohesive than what I could ever be with their stubborn fathers. But, I assumed as such. You guys became friends before your superhero duties came into play."
You contemplated such words, and supposed they were in truth. Your mother, Bruce, and Clark seemed to act more like coworkers rather than friends. Unlike the relationship you had with their sons, having bonded and forming a close-knit pact amongst the three of yourselves before having even thought of doing superhero work together.
And when you did, it made your chemistry on the battlefield a lot better; improved your guy's intuitions for the others' next move. Things got done with smoothness, a quick and ease that other teams seemed to have lacked.
"But," your mother continued, intersecting your own thoughts. "I need to know you are capable of such skill and cohesiveness when your partner isn't someone you know. That you will succeed, even if it means working with a foreign accomplice."
"Someone new?" You predicted, suddenly growing unsure of whatever was to come. And rightfully so, the ground suddenly beginning to shake while the crowds around stopped in their hurried tracks. Their gazes went upwards, yours following until the source of such powerful steps came into view.
"Great Hera..."
Your words came out no louder than a whisper, (E/C) eyes widening at the sight of the largest, reptile-like creature you had ever seen. The hairs on the back of your neck stood on end, your blood running cold the moment you had a clear view to recognize the beast.
The father of monsters, leaving all to see within their complete rights to run away in terror. A creature you had only heard about in legends and folklore, and only the kind your mother had told you as a young girl...
"That's... That's Typhon..." Again, your words dwindled away into fearful breaths, taking steps back hoping to fall into your mother's embrace as though it would somehow help the overall situation. And suddenly, it had grown worse, not able to feel the woman behind you and only realizing she was gone when she called down to you from the air.
"Be strong, my child!" She encouraged with an unchanged smile, flying away as if she was really going to...
Oh...oh no...
"Mom! Mom, no, you can't leave! You- You're literally Wonder Woman, you can not just leave me to die!!"
"You will not die, for you are the one who chooses what perishes and what remains in your wake. My Valkyrie. . ." She reminded you, ending it with a charm you didn't dare forget. "With or without accomplice, you are so much more capable than you know!"
Whatever lesson this was, it was insane. But, surely, your own mother wouldn't actually put you in a position where you wouldn't return, right?
You took in a breath.
'Trust yourself, (Y/N).' You reminded yourself. Just like that, you disregarded your cloak, revealing your superhero outfit/armor and drew your weapon. For now, you were all that stood between this city, and this ravenous-
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"Are you done?"
Your voice cut out, your expressive hands and dramatic tone faltering while your eyes shifted towards Damian in disbelief.
"Excuse me?"
"This...really isn't giving me meet-cute vibes..." Jon next to speak as Billy gave a huff and an eye roll at the sudden interruption.
"Well, maybe if you'd let her finish-"
"I don't recall asking you."
Another pause, Billy giving Damian a knowing look to combat what seemed to be a permanent glare etched onto his face.
"I didn't know I needed your permission?"
"In the presence of those more advanced than you are, I suggest you learn to wait until it's given."
Billy's eye narrowed as he started up another petty bicker, Jon remaining unaware of the upcoming fight brewing between the two. He was busy working out his own thoughts...
"I'm still trying to figure out what he has to do with any of this..."
"More than you." Billy scoffed, now stuck in a defensive attitude.
"Enough! I will go on and you two will listen, or so help me, you will get no explanation at all and you're just going to have to deal with the fact that I have a boyfriend and like it."
And finally, there was quiet once more. A subduing, accepting one that left you satisfied, nodding a little in accomplishment before continuing on.
"Thank you. Now, as I was saying..."
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
You were all that stood between the city, the rest of the world, and this ravenous, ghastly beast. As a result, the creature did nothing more than throw you around and cause more destruction. You were thanking your lucky stars there had been no casualties, and that you yourself were still even alive. But that could change at any moment following after a simple mistake.
One lazy swing of your weapon or step of your foot. One moment of being at the wrong place at the wrong-
"Watch out...!!"
And before you could even process the end of a sharply filed wing coming your direction in hopes to inpale you, a flash of red, white, and gold blurred your vision and suddenly, you were no longer in the path of a painful death. Just left very stunned and confused while the only thing that could leave your lips was a shocked, "Barry, what are you-?!"
"Who?"
Your mouth snapped shut, looking up and staring into eyes that certainly didn't belong to the Flash, even though he was the only person you knew who sported such a combination of colors and possessed super speed. And yet, here you were, being proven wrong and gently set down back onto the pavement.
"N-...Nobody, nevermind."
"Are you okay? You seem...not cut out for this."
This statement caught you off guard. Sure, you were most definitely shaken up and could hardly plan your next course of action without a wave of fear striking up your spine, but...
Not cut out for this?
"That is most certainly the complete opposite of the case, I'll have you know. I do this for a living."
The man gave you a look up and down, a mix of amusement and unsureness crossing his face as he spoke quickly.
"I dunno, you were kinda... If that were true, I don't think I would've had to come in and save you."
"Save me?" You couldn't help but repeat this, truly flabbergasted at such a claim. "Save me?"
"Also, is there a way you can tell me why you're dressed like a Wonder Woman wannabe?" He asked with no true intent to offend, but the more he talked, the deeper the hole he was digging himself would grow.
"'Cause not to harsh your flow or anything, but the original is always better, and I should know because I met her, but you don't wanna hear about that, I mean..."
"I am not-!" You cut into your own loud protest, fighting the urge to discredit any comparison of your person to your mother. You were your own person, no matter the affiliations you carried, and you were quick to make such information known once a breath left your throat.
"My name is Valkyrie, last born of Themyscira and granddaughter of Zeus. And I'll have you know I'd never step down from my duties of protecting the innocent lives of this land, for I am the one who chooses who lives and and who dies. And that beast...?"
You pointed upwards in the relative direction of where it had last been, but the chaos surrounding was enough for both of you to know neither of your jobs were done.
"It goes down. Tonight."
The super in front of you nodded as if he wanted to believe everything you just said but truly couldn't. A little chuckle even slipped through his lips, the man slowly backing away with intent to return to the fight as well.
"Okay, you seem very focused on all of the right things, but since you're obviously way younger than me which makes you more inexperienced, I think I should at least show you how it's done first so you don't get yourself hurt. Alright? Okay."
And with that, he flew off, the short breeze of wind that was left from his takeoff blowing your (H/C) hair back while you stared up in perturbance.
"...Imbecile." You cursed.
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"You were arrogant, which made you stupid. And you lacked precision and grace, as well as the ability to properly communicate." You further informed, recalling the way Billy had just as much of a hard time defeating Typhon as you had. If anything, with no training experience, even worse. And when you tried to join in on the fight, he simply remained in your way, and neither of you had ever gotten anywhere for the longest.
"Is that all? Because I'm starting to get a subliminal message that we aren't as girlfriend-and-boyfriend as I thought..." Billy sighed, his face shifting into a light shade of red at your truthful words and thoughts.
He wanted to say how he didn't recall things to have gone that badly at all, but you spoke up before he could.
"No. That isn't all. But, to spare you, I'd like to point out how though you have no mental training whatsoever..."
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"...I must admit, you are...very powerful. And your magic isn't like any kind I've seen before." You uttered through heavy breaths, having spent what felt like hours just to defeat such a cruel animal.
"Are you...a god?"
There was a delay, the man trying to work out your question in a way that would make the most sense.
"Demi-God, actually, technically... It's really complicated to explain. My brother would be way better at telling you all about it."
Your head tilted, clearly confused by his words, which only caused him to try and clear it up further.
"Short version, I got my powers from a wizard who said I was like, pure of heart...wise- No, strong in spirit...or whatever, something like that. And ever since, I've been saving the world with my family, which is super cool, by the way."
"And this wizard..." You inquired. "Was he a god?"
"Uhm...no." he answered, again, with a vagueness that caused you to tilt your head once more. It made his heart leap and brought on the sudden urge to tell you more.
"But you know, one thing we do have in common, the whole Zeus thing...that's totally what the 'Z' in my name stands for."
You nodded, accepting the oddly placed information for what it was before sticking out a hand for him to shake. He did so with an eagerness that almost reminded you of Jon.
"Well, regardless of all previously stated about you, your wizard was correct. Your heart was in the right place the entire time, and I admire that. It's...been a pleasure working with you..."
He smiled, hurrying to provide you with a name. Quickly and unthinking, as usual...
"Shazam."
A flash of lighting made you pull away instantly, the thunderous bolt causing you to jump back into a defensive position until the smoke cleared.
What was revealed to you was a teenage boy around your age and looking up at you with wide, emerald green eyes. His brown hair was disheveled, and he practically stumbled over his own two feet in attempts to get away as fast as possible.
"Wait-!" You stopped him, grabbing at his wrist to which he swiftly tried to pull away from. The close proximity only made you more aware of the height difference, yourself maybe only a couple inches taller, which merely added to the fact that he was wildly intimidated by you as a whole. He wanted nothing to do with the consequences of you finding out his biggest secret, especially after all of the things he had said laced in a tone of condescension.
He continued to pull, but you didn't budge. Instead, you calmed, lowering your tone into a whisper that ceased his movements.
"Wait..." You gave a firm nod of solidarity. Filled with compassion, and you were quick to add a smile. "Your secret is safe with me. You have my word."
"Thank you..." He breathed, watching as you slowly released the hold on his wrist. His touch lingered, your fingertips the last to meet before the both of you were now left standing, face to face before you registered the entirety of the situation. Replaying your mother's words...
'I need to know you are capable of such skill and cohesiveness when your partner isn't someone you know. That you will succeed, even if it means working with a foreign accomplice.'
"You were the lesson."
"...What?"
The confusion splayed across his face amused you, a giggle escaping your lips that made his chest fill to the brim with butterflies while you explained.
"Do you recall the Zeus thing you pointed out earlier?"
He nodded.
"Well," you began, straightening yourself out. "My name is Valkyrie, last born of Themyscira, granddaughter of Zeus."
"Yeah, I...caught that the first ti-"
"Also known as (Y/N)," You cut in. "Daughter of this land's beloved Wonder Woman."
"Oh... Oh, my god...!" He gasped, a mixture of amazement and shock in his tone while you gave another laugh and a nod.
"You have revealed yourself to me, so-"
"Accidentally."
"But you did it." You swiftly reminded. "And I have revealed myself to you. So, it's nice to officially meet you..."
"Billy!" He filled in the blank as fast as he could, soon realizing you may want a full name before awkwardly adding the rest.
"Batson...Billy Batson."
"Hm." You hummed in satisfaction, your smile never once faltering as you gave a nod. "I...look forward to working with you in the future. Preferably, not under the circumstances of another lesson."
You pointed upwards, the large body of "Typhon" shape-shifting into one Martian Manhunter, staring at the two of you from high above with Wonder Woman at his side, the two giving nods of content.
"Holy moly..."
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"Oh! I see now...! Meet-cute." Jon expressed as Damian gave a disappointed shake of the head.
"Careless." He huffed, to which you ignored in favor of only responding to Jon's positivity rather than Damian's negativity.
"Exactly. And then, a few weeks later, I took him out for a date."
"Which I think went pretty well, by the way." Billy added, smoothly lacing his hand with yours (completely ignoring Damian and his icy glare as well).
"Mmm..." You hummed with a tone that begged to differ, leaving it clear you and Billy remembered your first date very differently...
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"Wait, so...you really can't fly?"
Though the question may have seemed jarring, the bustling crowds of the inner city masked such an odd remark. It left you two free to converse on topics of both citizen and superhero life. Or whatever else came to mind.
Hopefully, all that came to mind, seeing as your time together was limited for the day.
"Unfortunately, no. Just because I am my mother's daughter doesn't mean I inherited all of her capabilities."
Billy shrugged, making sure to keep pace with you in order to actually be by your side. And, as a courtesy tip from Mary, keep himself on the outside towards the road and yourself inwards. 'Just in case' she had said, which confused him. Not that he doubted, though.
"I guess so. I just thought that maybe since you're her kid-"
"-I'm not a carbon copy, Billy. I am my own person, you know." You informed.
"Yes, of course, I totally get that! But, if you can't fly, and if you're not immortal...what powers do you have?"
Such a question left you to think for a moment, your lips pursing up until you were finally left to shrug yourself.
"Well, I wouldn't really consider them powers. Unlike your abilities, I-..."
A gasp cut into your own words, your mood boosting upwards just like your eyes towards the pink neon sign above.
"Oh my gosh, oh my-! I've heard of this, I've always been so curious to try, but it seems there's never any time..."
At first, Billy was confused by your jolt and burst of excitement, staring at you in muddled amusement.
"Huh?"
You grabbed him by the chin, between your thumb and index finger, and forced his gaze up where yours had been. Quickly, he now understood and looked back down at you in bewilderment.
"You've...really never had ice cream before?"
"Well, with my training and all, on top of my studies and hero duties, I never really...get the chance to do much of anything considered downtime." You explained before giving an obnoxious sigh.
"Hell, if only you knew what I went through just to convince my mother to let me out today. And don't even get me started on my best friends..."
"Your...best friends?" Billy inquired, nudging you with his shoulder in a teasing manner. "Thought I was your best friend."
"Yeah, you are." You admitted, casually nudging him back, which struck up bashful giggles between the two of you. "But, in a different way. They are...my first friends. My first superhero friends, normal person friends...my first best friends. So, naturally, getting past them is like attempting to look a gorgon right in the eyes and not turning to stone."
Though he hadn't caught onto the last bit, the analogy something foreign to him, he'd had come up with a plan instantly to both woo you and to simply give you the experience you deserved.
"Tell you what, (N/N)..." He began, using a nickname he had come up with a short time ago.
"Hm?" You chirped in response, eager for his solution as your walk continued on as a gentle and slow stroll.
"I'll take you for a fly around the city. Watch the sunset, maybe grab some food on the way; Ice cream for dessert..."
You face grew hot just thinking about such an ordeal. It was ideally romantic, and it did end with you getting the treat you had always wanted to try.
"It'd be killing two birds with one stone."
His own weird analogy had caught you off guard, taking in a dramatic inhale as a hand flew to your heart.
"Billy...!" You almost scolded. "I do not wish to kill any birds! Especially not with a stone, that's terrible."
He couldn't help but laugh, though you were having trouble finding the humor in his statement as he pulled you into him, an arm around your shoulder providing a cheesy type of comfort you couldn't help but fall for as well.
"It's...an expression. Just means getting two things done at once." He explained cooly, only for you to pout.
"It's a terrible expression."
He huffed, sending you a deadpanned expression.
"Do you agree to the idea or not, (Y/N)?"
You pretended to think about the offer, though you had already come up with your answer. You just didn't want to come off as too desperate, especially considering this was your first date. Sure, you asked (er, more or less commanded) him out, but that didn't mean it wasn't any less nerve-wracking. And natrually, your mother was not the best of help, pushing and pulling the whole situation.
Encouraging you to show strength and pursue the love that pleased you. But, as instinct to protect their child, as any living creature would, often told you no when it actually came down to you wanting to spend time with Billy.
But, you were here now, and that was all that mattered. Matter of fact, you swiftly realized how silly it would be to hold back on maybe a once in a lifetime experience.
"...I suppose." You finally hummed, to Billy's excitement before you quickly added, "And...don't call me (Y/N)."
"What?"
"To you, I am (N/N)." You instructed, having grown fond of whatever little nickname or petname he had given you. "It has been decided upon."
"Okay, (N/N)."
It wasn't long before you two had wandered into a more desolate area, being thorough that the coast was clear before a bolt of lightning was struck and a pair of glasses came flying off.
"Are you...sure this is safe?" You began to hesitate. No, you weren't afraid of heights. But you were definitely afraid of falling, and while of course you trusted whenever Jon would carry you or when your own mother would, Billy had proven himself a tad more...
Distracted? Nuanced? Impetuous? All could be applicable, really...
"Yeah, of course I'm sure! It'll be fun, c'mon, no stress." He urged, beckoning you over with the wave of his hand while now in his superhero alter ego.
"Do you..." You didn't want what you were about to ask sound silly. You were practically indestructible. Falling should be the last thing you were worried about. And yet...
"I'll fly low through the city; and I won't even go my top speed, I guarantee no building crashes." He further pushed with a hyped up grin.
"Do you promise not to drop me?" You rushed, almost embarrassed with how meekly it seemed to come out. Not like you at all, but Billy couldn't help but find it endearing as he walked forward and placed a comforting palm on your shoulder.
"(N/N), only an idiot would drop someone like you."
And that was all the more convincing you needed, ignoring the butterflies in your chest while he lifted you into his arms in bridal fashion.
He made sure to handle you with the utmost care, keeping his promise having never once even let you so much as wobble or slip from his grasp. And, his plans had proven worthy of the hype, the city lights a whole different view to behold while flying so low. Even as the sun began to set, you had no intentions of returning home anytime soon, regardless of curfew. You couldn't leave now!
Not while you and Billy (now back to himself) sat atop of one of the highest points in the city. Cooped up together on one of the bridge towers while he taught you the proper way to eat a philly cheesteak.
"No, no," He scolded, teasing and light as you let your sandwich rest in your lap, giggling at his example. "You gotta' do it like this. The experience isn't true if you don't get cheese like... literally all over your face, watch..."
And he did just that, leaving you to shake your head as laughter escaped your lips.
"Billy, that seems...unnecessarily messy."
"Well, fine then...!" He challenged, his mouth still full as he gestured towards you. "Lemme' see you try and take a bite without getting cheese or toppings anywhere else."
"Bil-"
"Go on."
You huffed, pursing your lips and narrowing your eyes in his direction before giving in to his petty challenge.
. . .
"It's good, right?"
"It's messy, like I stated..." Your words could've very well been chokes if you weren't careful, your mouth just as full of food as Billy's once was while dots of cheese lined your lips.
"Well, then, congratulations. You did it right. You've made me proud." He announced smugly, handing you an honorary napkin to clean your face with.
Once you had managed to swallow it all down, you couldn't help but admit you were left satisfied.
"How...often are cheesteaks sold?"
He chuckled at your question, now left genuinely proud that he had seemed to have successfully transferred his food addiction onto you.
"Don't worry, we'll get you more another time."
He reached to the side of himself, picking up two small cups filled with the icy treat you had even forgotten you'd gushed about. It left you happily surprised once again as he handed you your own.
"For now, I think we should start you off with the most basic flavor. It's really sweet and really cold, so I didn't wanna overwhelm you."
"What flavor is it?" You were practically bouncing with glee, anticipating its taste before he could even tell you what it was. He didn't even get to get the word out before you had shoveled a bite into your mouth.
"French Vanilla."
"Oh...my gods..." You sighed, savoring the taste on your tongue as the ice cream began to melt in your mouth.
"I'll get more of this sooner as well, right?" You hoped aloud, Billy nodding but encouraging you to "slow down" before you ended up with a "brain freeze", whatever that was.
Speaking of freeze, the chill that passed by was certainly enough to calm you down from the ice cream, your arms littering in goosebumps as the two of you stared deep into the sunset. It casted a glow against the horizon on the water, and though it was growing more and more chilly by the moment, you couldn't help but comment on the beauty of it all.
Billy was swift to agree, not that he was actually looking at the sunset. Too busy admiring your features, the way your hair fell, and how your eyes practically sparkled. The tone of your skin making any scars and beauty marks pop against it with the glow of the sun highlighting it all in gold.
He had to refrain from grazing a hand against your arm, his brain starting to convince him that he was dreaming or that you were an angel of some sort, unreal until he could prove otherwise. And, without really thinking about it, he made moves to do so.
"(Y/N)?"
"Hm?"
"Are...you cold?"
You thought about it, even though you didn't really have to. Not to mention, there was a feeling rising in your chest. A feeling that you knew where this was going, and of course, you wanted nothing more than to experience that.
"Yeah, kinda."
And in a solid flow of motion, the boy beside you had taken off his flannel to drape it across your own figure. Eager to pull you closer into him, practically on his lap as you two watched the remainder of the setting sun. Well, tried to, your focus still shifting towards Billy every now and again as if you had to make sure, convince yourself, that he was still there.
"You're gonna miss it..." He pointed slightly in the direction of the golden ball of light, his voice practically a whisper when he saw you look back at him for what seemed like the miilonth time. Even so, he couldn't help but smile, one matching your own as you shrugged.
"That's okay..." Was your only response before you felt yourself leaning in closer. It was like you were metal, and he was a magnet, not that he seemed to mind before mimicking your actions. You-
──────────── •⚡️• ────────────
"Oh my god, are you telling us about your first kiss? I don't wanna hear about that..." Jon brushed away the mere thoughts of that with a wave of his hand, his actions only humoring you and Billy as you swayed up against him.
"Yes, the first of many~."
"Stop, oh my god...!"
"You're so immature." You chided at the boy's revulsion. "Can't you just be happy for me?"
"I don't blame him." Damian insisted. "I, too, find it hard to be content when this 'relationship' was merely established a few months prior. Especially without us knowing."
"Well, maybe this is exactly why I didn't want to tell you." You spat before gesturing towards both boys. "Either of you. You don't get it."
"Oh, I understand. Trust me." Damian scoffed at your vehemence. "I understand that if you expect me to allow this to continue any further, I must see whether or not he's actually capable of keeping you safe. And that he can be proven worthy of, not only your time and efforts, but to be trusted as well."
And when his green eyes met with Billy's, it was clear he had no tolerance for the boy whatsoever. If anything, it was almost like there was a purposeful intent laced within his words to gain some sort of a rise out of him. One which he got, expectingly.
"Um, allowed?" Billy repeated, not at all liking the idea of being told what to do by anyone other than his parents, much less another boy his age. And chiefly when it came down to you.
"First of all-"
"Oh my gods, here we go..." You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose once more in complete detest for more of the bickering about to occur. It seemed as though no one was willing to listen to your words, Jon able to sense this when his eyes left your dejected figure and took notice of the forming tension between Damian and Billy.
"You guys...!" Jon cut in, putting out the spark where it began. "Maybe...she's right. Maybe this could be a good thing?"
"Of course I'm right!" You gasped the minute Jon had come to your defense. "Look, I understand that you guys just want to protect me, but... I can't learn things if I don't ever make mistakes. My own mistakes." You emphasized, knowing how quickly Damian liked to swoop in to take over your own, potentially dangerous, missions. And how often Jon managed to talk you out of different situations with charisma you sometimes lacked.
"And, to be fully honest, I don't believe Billy to be a mistake." You added, looking him in the eyes and then turning back towards them. "I really, really want this, okay? And I don't care if you guys don't trust him or... even like him. I like him. I trust him. And that's it."
A final act of silence fell between the lot of you, Damian trying his best and failing at avoiding your pleading (E/C) eyes. Failing, so, he gave up.
More accurately, gave in.
"Very well." He huffed, never one to fully let his guard down, but doing the best he could to provide some sense of acquiesce.
"But, should there be any trace of even a minor slip up," he worked in his own version of compromise, sporting a final death glare in Billy's direction. "I will kill him."
"Oh, please..." Was his only reaction to the threat which left you to step in with your own word of reassurance.
"He won't."
"If he knows what's good for him."
"He won't kill you, he's just saying that..." Jon laughed. It was awkward, a sign of attempted lightheartedness before he went on.
"But really, please don't do anything that will make us regret trusting you. I think it'd be cool to have a new guy around!"
And naturally, Billy was a lot more inclined to warm up to Jon, giving him a nod of respect. It all finally left you able to wind down, knowing that though it wasn't today's plans or intentions, you had successfully integrated your best friends with your boyfriend.
A group unlike any other.
One you... still couldn't come up with a name for.

---
The next day started bright and early. Well, as bright as Gotham got, anyways. Damian was naturally an early riser, and honestly expected to be the only one up for a while. Most of his 'siblings' slept in any chance they got, Cain and Grayson being the exception most of the time.
He was pleasantly surprised, however, when a sleep-muddled Danny wandered into the kitchen only a few minutes after him. He watched in amusement as the teen rummaged through the cabinets clumsily, seemingly not realizing where he was or who he was with.
Or, he assumed the teen wasn't aware of his presence in the room. He was proven only half right, as the teen handed him a bowl, going back to digging through the cabinets until he re-emergerged with a box of cereal and a second bowl. A victorious trill emerged Danny's mouth, the sound far from human. That was one theory confirmed.
A bit more awake now, the teen jumped slightly as he turned back towards Damian. In response, Damian simply raised an eyebrow at the teen, taking the box of cereal from his hands and pulling a carton of almond milk from the fridge. Danny continued to stand there with a blank look on his face, before shrugging to himself and settling himself on one of the barstools at the counter.
They ate their breakfast in companionable silence. Danny was the first to break the silence. "So, what's on the agenda today?" He asked, taking his bowl to the sink. Damian didn't answer immediately, thinking it over in his head. Absently, he noted a bit of milk that clung to the corner of Danny's mouth.
Pulling out the list from his pocket, he looked over the ingredients before responding. "I suppose our next stop would be a grocery store." He answered, standing to follow the teen into the living room.
He had an odd look on his face, but Danny only nodded, tossing on the hoodie that he had tossed in the drier before he had gone to bed, along with his canvas bag. Turning, he posed quite ridiculously as he faced the Robin. "Okay, lead the way!" His voice was light and playful, reminding Damian of his friend John a bit. A small voice in his mind that sounded a bit like Grayson told him to be thankful for the sunglasses that sat perched on his face.
With a small smile, Damian took Danny's hand, using his free hand to wipe the milk off the teen's face. Now slightly red and stuttering, Damian had zero trouble leading him out the door and into the shadows.
He recovered quickly, keeping close to Damian as they trekked quietly in and out of alleyways. It wasn't long before they found themselves slipping quietly into a supermarket. The light-up sign on the building was missing a letter towards the beginning, and had one blinking towards the end of the name. The door also squealed loudly as they pushed it open, almost drowning out the annoying bell that rang, announcing their entrance.
No one looked at them twice as they began to explore the aisles. Cheap, off-brand products lined the shelves. A lot of them past their expiration date. 'Alfred would not be impressed by this place.' Damian thought as he put a box back in its place.
Danny was ahead of him, looking over the shelves for the ingredients that they needed. He kept glancing down at the list, then looking back up. Occasionally his head would tilt as he peered at the aisle signs. 'Cute.' Damian couldn't help the small smile that turned the corners of him mouth.
As he moved to follow after Danny, who was just turning around the corner to the next aisle, something stopped him. He was aware of his surroundings, much more so than he had been at the mall. The front door squealed open, the bell going off with a high-pitched ding! Glancing at the noise, he madeneye contact with a familiar set of feminine blue eyes. Cain.
She glanced around a bit before looking back at him, a silent 'why?' in the way she shrugged her shoulders, tilting her head slightly. He rolled his eyes, but didn't move as she approached him.
"Hello Cain." He greeted when she was close enough, his voice low and a bit cold. She nodded at him.
"Hello." She signed. "Why are you here?"
Damian scoffed. "I could ask you the same."
She scrunched her nose at him, but made no move to sign. Waiting for his answer.
"I'm busy." He responded.
"With what?" She asked. He started to walk, then. Danny was out of sight, and he had no way of knowing which of his other siblings were hiding in here.
"It's a…Personal mission." He decided on. She kept pace with him as he checked the next aisle. No Danny here. 'Maybe the next one?'
"Personal mission?" She repeated. Damian sighed. 'At least she isn't trying to drag me back to the manor.'
"Yes. A personal mission." The next aisle was empty as well. 'How far did he get?' "One that is delicate." He looked at her from the corner of his eye. Cain was frowning slightly, but in a confused manner.
"Does this mission have anything to do with him?" She pointed down an aisle, to where Danny was looking between two canisters of salt. A small sigh of relief left him, tension dropping from his shoulders. Beside him, Cain's face cracked with a small, knowing smile.
"Yes. He is an essential part of that mission." Damian's cheeks tented lightly with blush, not that he noticed. Cain did, though. That blush told her all she needed to know.
"I understand now." She signed to him. "A new brother." He glared at her, but she continued before he could retort. "Your 'courting' him, yes?"
The blush that stained his face darkened. "Well, yes. At least, I'm trying to. He seems convinced that my feelings are artificial." At her questioning glance, he elaborated. "We met when I landed in a fountian that he had made. The water was contaminated with a 'love potion'. Though my thoughts and actions are slightly skewed at the moment, I do know myself better than that." Her face scrunched slightly, but she didn't object.
"What are you doing about it?" Danny was moving again, Salt canister added to the cheap green basket he had grabbed when they entered.
"I'm helping him collect the ingredients for a cure." They followed from a distance, watching as Danny pulled a bag of…something from the top shelf, sending a few more bags raining down on top of him. His surprised cry went semi-ignored by the two.
"Alright." She patted his shoulder gently before turning away, headed back towards the front of the store. She turned back to face him for a moment. "Don't worry, I'll stall the others. Good luck romancing!" And with that, she was gone. Damian watched her slip through the door before turning to catch up with Danny.
He had just finished putting the bags back up when Damian made it to his side. The teen glanced at him over his shoulder as he chucked the last bag up. "Hey, Robin. Who was that?"
Maybe his situational awareness was better than he first thought. "My adopted sister. She came to make sure I was in good health." Damian looked over the items in the basket, mentally ticking them off the list. "How much more do we need?"
"From here?" Danny pulled out the list again. "Umm, this is it. We can go pay now, but the last thing we need could probably be found at a flower shop." Slipping the list back into his pocket, he offered his hand to the teen absently. Damian took it immediately, taking the lead and heading towards the checkout.
"So, where to after this?" The teen asked. Damian was silent as their items were scanned. The cashier read out their total, and Damian tossed him a few bills before grabbing their things and walking out.
Back in the Gotham air, he decided. "How about lunch?" He started towards the nearest restaurant, which just so happened to be a Bat Burger.
"Sure, I could eat." Just as the teen said it, his stomach growled loudly. His face turned red, a hand coming up to rub his neck. His blush deepened as Damian chuckled, allowing himself to be pulled along the sidewalk.
In no time, the two were seated in a booth, farthest from the window and hidden by a few fake plants, should anyone walk in. "What's good here?" Danny asked as he glanced over the menu.
"I wouldn't quite know. The only thing I get from here is the veggie burger. And my siblings are a bit… biased, when it comes to ordering." Seeing as how they all claimed that their namesake meal was the best.
The teen looked over the menu for a few more minutes before sighing in defeat. "Could you order something for me?" He asked.
Damian nodded. "Of course. Do you have any preferences I should know about?" It would be horrible if he ordered something the teen was allergic to.
Danny shook his head. "Nah. Anything is fine. My friends often joke about me having an iron stomach." Chuckling a bit, he went a bit further. "Heck, I'm pretty sure I ate a spork once!"
For both their sakes, Damian hoped that the teen was exaggerating. Human or not, swallowing something like that was not healthy. He ignored it for now, simply nodding and heading to the front counter.
The teen standing behind the counter looked at him with a bored expression, a mock of Batman's cowl sat awkwardly over his head. "Welcome to Bat Burger, home of the Batburger and the Jokerized fries. How may I take your order?" He asked in a monotone voice.
Damian ignored the part of him that wished to scoff at the boy, placing his order quickly and paying, before heading back to their booth to wait.
Back at the booth, Danny was fiddling with the salt shaker. He pushed it from one end of the tabletop to the other, again reminding Damian of a cat. All he was missing were the ears and whiskers. He filed the picture his mind provided away for later, sitting down across from the teen.
Abandoning the salt shaker, Damny sat back up. "So, what's with this place?" He asked. Damian raised an eyebrow at the random question.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, this place is named 'Bat Burger'. Unless they actually use bats in their burger patties, which I hope to all the Ancients that they are not, what's up with it?" Damian couldn't decide if he wanted to be amused at the teen's question, or disgusted at the thought of honest-to-god bat burgers. He eventually landed on neither, instead focusing on the odd curse he used.
"'Ancients?'" He voiced his curiosity.
Danny gave him a look. "You tell me, and I'll tell you?" He suggested.
'That sounds fair.' Damian decided. "This restaurant is themed after Gotham city's vigilante protectors."
Danny nodded. "Cool. So, are you one of those vigilanties?"
Shaking his finger at the teen, Damian smirked. "Ah-ah-ah. It's my turn, now." The teen across from him made a show of letting his shoulders droop before motioning for him to continue. "What, or who, are these 'Ancients' you keep referring to?"
"Ancients are the oldest, and strongest, beings that inhabit the Infinite Realms." He answered. "Now, it's my turn again. Are you one of the 'helpers' for this city?" His discrete wording was appreciated, as while they were talking the door dinged, a couple walking in and sitting in a booth not too far away from them.
"Yes. I am a 'helper'. One of the main ones, in fact." He couldn't help the way his chest puffed up slightly with pride as he spoke. Danny noticed, giving him a knowing smile, but said nothing. Instead wiggling his fingers as he waited for Damian's next question. "What is the 'Infinite Realms'?"
At his question, Danny's eyes seemed to take on a gleam. Though what it meant, Damian didn't quite know. The best way to describe it was a mix of fondness and excitement. "The Infinite Realms is basically the realm of the dead. Though it holds more than just ghosts, it holds entire civilizations, as well as portals to any and every dimension that exists." He blushed as he realized what he had said, looking away from Damian to examine the table in front of them.
Damian sat there for a moment, a bit stunned by his explanation. Sure, Damian knew that other universes existed, so it was no surprise to him. What did surprise him though, was how blunt and honest the teen was with him. If their roles were reversed, Damian couldn't say that he would be as up-front as Danny was being with him.
Not wanting to make the teen uncomfortable, all Damian did in response to this information was nod. "Makes sense. I suppose that you are one of the 'beings' that inhabit this realm?"
"Ah, no. Though I do spend quite a bit of time there, I'm not from there. I have a family in the mortal realm." Danny chuckled and rubbed nervously at the nape of his neck. Before Damian could respond, the teen at the counter called out their order number.
Damian stood up without a word, fetching their food and bringing it to the table quickly, a bit eager to get back to their questions.
Danny reached for his food, looking over his tray with a small smile. "Thank you." He said before digging into his burger. Damian watched him with a small smile, taking a bite of his own burger.
Swallowing, he picked up where they left off. "You aren't human though." At his words, Danny seemed to choke on his food, swallowing hard and coughing loudly into his fist while thumping his chest with his free hand.
"W-what do you mean?" He asked when he could speak again, his voice rough and squeaky.
"Exactly what I said. You aren't human, are you?" He took another bite of his veggie burger, watching as the teen struggled to find a good response.
Finally, after half of Damian's burger was gone, Danny sighed. "How did you know?" He asked, slightly exasperated.
Damian chuckled and began to list off his evidence on his fingers. "Your hands are constantly cold, you are concerningly light. You have fangs. Your eyes have a sheen to them, and glow in dim lighting. And just this morning, you trilled like a bird." With each piece of evidence, Danny's face grew a shade redder until he was sporting a bright lobster red.
Sighing, Danny pinched the bridge of his nose. "I really need to get better at hiding it." He mumbled. Looking back up, he refused to meet Damian's eye. "Yeah, I'm not completely human. But I am half."
"And what is the other half?" Damian couldn't help but ask.
Danny twitched, but didn't flinch away. "Um. Well, to be honest, I'm part ghost." Damian blinked at him. "The ghosts from the 'Realms' refer to me as a 'halfa'. Half ghost, half human." He did jazz hands with a small 'ta-da!'.
Again, Damian could only blink as he tried to process that. He had seen a lot over the years, as a child assassin and as Robin, but this was a new one for sure. How could someone only be half ghost? Does that mean that Danny had, at some point, died? That generally is the only way someone becomes a ghost, is it not?
Something clenched painfully in his chest at the thought of Danny being in such a perilous situation. He hoped that was not the case, but he knew that it was most likely wishful thinking. "You're being incredibly up-front and honest with me."
Danny looked a bit surprised at the sudden change in topic, but only shrugged. "I mean, what's really the point of lying? I doubt that you're gonna do anything to me." That… was actually a very valid point. Damian had no urge to do anything to him, anything to hurt him anyways. In fact, it was only Danny's hesitance that kept him from spilling all his secrets, along with his family's secrets. Another thing that endeared him to the teen. His sense of honor.
"Anyways," Danny pointed at him with a fry, "who are the other 'helpers' of the city?"
Ah, an easily answered question. "Well, there's Batman, for starters. Nightwing occasionally helps out, but he mostly stays to patrol around one of Gotham's sister cities. Red Hood is more of a crime boss than a vigilante, but he protects his district fairly well. Red Robin, Signal, Orphan, and Spoiler are the other vigilanties that patrol Gotham regularly with Batman and Robin. And Oracle is the 'person in the chair'. She gives them most of their information while they are in the field." He listed off the names of his siblings alter egos easily, pausing after he was finished to take another bite of his food.
Danny nodded. "Okay, cool. But if that's all the vigilanties, then why are there more names on the menu items?" He pointed to the menu with another one of his fries before shoving it in his mouth.
"That's simple enough." Damian scoffed slightly. "They are the names of the villains that Batman and the others often fight." Danny hummed, raking a long drink from his cola.
"Makes sense." He nodded. "Any other questions for me?" He added before sticking the last bite of his burger into his mouth, making his cheeks puff out like a chipmunks.
Damian thought about it for a moment. He had a lot of questions, some branching from his inner detective and some that were decidedly not. In the end, he decided that he would only ask one question. The rest of his questions could wait.
He had plenty of time, after all. They might almost be done collecting the ingredients, but they still had to make the potion. Not to mention, while he did appreciate Cain's ability and willingness to derail the rest of his family, they would find him eventually. And they, too, would want answers. He only hoped that, by the time his family did manage to track them down, Danny would trust him enough not to run.
"One more question before we go." Sipping on the rest of his drink, Danny waited patiently for him to continue. "That… gun, the one you had back at the park. What was it for?"
The look that crossed the teen's face could only be described as a mix of realization and horror. "Oh Ancients. I completely forgot about that." Running his hand down his face, he sighed heavily. "That gun was my 'easy' way home. It's basically a portal gun. It uses ectoplasm to tear temporary holes in the demintional barrier, it's how I got here in the first place." He explained quickly.
Groaning again, he let his face hit the table with a muffled thud. "I can't believe I just left inner-dimensional tech in a random park." He muttered into the cheap wood.
Damian frowned, part of him wishing he had known this sooner and another part happy that he destroyed it so quickly when they first met. Still, even destroyed and hidden away in the underbrush, it wasn't safe to leave it there.
Resisting his urge to run his fingers through the teen's hair as he had his crisis, Damian pulled his phone out of the hoodie pocket he had shoved it in. Scrolling through the contacts, he clicked on the one person he could trust with this at the moment. Typing quickly, he sent a message to Cain, who responded a few seconds later. She sent a confirmation text, saying she was en route and would text again when she got back to the manor.
Satisfied that the issue was being taken care of, he tapped the table next to the teens head. He peeked up, his expression still stuck on dread. "I've taken care of it." He told the boy. His face switched from dread to confusion, one eyebrow raised incredulously at him. In response to the silent question, he held up his phone.
Danny's expression cleared, a tired kind of relief settling. "Oh. Okay, good. My sister would kill me a second time if she found out I left something that important just laying around." A worrying statement, now that he had a bit of context about Danny's 'situation', but a discussion could wait.
"Well, I suppose we should head out. You said something about a flower shop?" They both stood, the teen stretching until three little pops were heard before standing straight with a sigh. Shaking his head, Damian grabbed the teens hand and led him out of the restaurant, pausing as he stood at the crosswalk.
Where was the nearest flower shop again?
Cass sighed inaudibly as she rummaged through the bushes. Damian's text had been annoyingly vague in it's instructions, just a simple request to look for and retrieve a damaged, high tech looking weapon.
The location was easy enough to find, remains of an electronic birdbath laying prone in a small clearing. From there, she tracked the pair's movements through the underbrush, broken branches and tracks in the mud making it pretty easy.
It was just her luck that they stopped in a fairly overgrown area, the grass stopping just above her mid-calf. This was where she had been, bent over moving stalks of grass, for almost twenty minutes now.
Finally, though, her fingers brushed over a metallic casing. Moving quickly, she dug around in the green vegetation. With a few careful tugs, she revealed two pieces of what she assumed was some type of gun. Silver and green, with a bulky shape and some sort of slimy, Lazurus green liquid pooling in the glass canister.
She didn't waste any time on trying to figure out what it was, just gathered the pieces and shoved them into her bag. While she was extremely curious about the gun, along with the reason her possible future brother-in-law had it, the only thing she could really think of at the moment was where she could hide the bag where her family couldn't find it. Because if she wanted answers, she knew that they wanted them even more.

Falling In Reverse
(Reverse robins)
Chapter 3
Meeting
"Hello?" Damian called as he entered the mansion. It was oddly quiet, Damian felt his heart tug a little. This was the first time since Tim's death he had stepped foot in the mansion. He remembered watching Homeward bound on the sofa with Tim a million times. He remembered them fighting on the floor over almost everything. Turning he saw Bruce and a small kid.
"I'd like you to meet Jason Todd," Bruce said gesturing to the small boy "I just adopted him"
"Hello," Damian greeted in his usual cold-sounding voice.
"Hey I guess," Jason said trying to sound cool. Jason had heard about how Damian once knocked out seventeen guys for just looking at him the wrong way, this made him Jason's hero. This also made Bruce start taking blood pressure pills.
"Father may I speak to you" Damian's eyes darted towards the study. Bruce nodded before turning to Jason.
"Go watch TV" Jason scurried off to find the remote. Bruce led Damian to the study so they would not be heard.
"Really father?" Damian glared "You can't just replace Tim, especially with some street rat!"
"I'm not trying to replace him" Bruce insisted. Suddenly they heard the door creek. Damian turned around to see Jason standing at the door.
"I don't need some snobby-nosed rich kid calling me a street rat!" Jason spat "Not when you're just a sheltered brat who had everything handed to him!"
"Jason..." Jason darted down the hallway as fast as his legs could take him. Bruce turned to his eldest son "I think it would be best if you leave"
"Whatever" Damian sighed before walking out.
Timeskip
"Finally" Damian let out a sigh of relief. Today's meeting had been extremely boring and to top it Conner broke the tv after his show wouldn't come in.
"Hey, can I catch a ride?" Wally yelled right before Damian could even pull out of his parking spot.
"What for, you have super speed?" Damian raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah and a super metabolism" Wally wined "Please I haven't eaten anything all day, I'm about to pass out" Damian sighed opening the passenger door.
"Snacks are in-" Before he could finish his sentence Wally had cleaned out all the snacks in the glove department.
"Thanks," Wally said stuffing a handful of chips in his mouth. After finishing off the chips Wally grabbed a candy bar.
"You do realize that candy bar is old right?" Wally nodded taking a bite "I swear West you are a human garbage disposal"
"I can't help it" Wally smiled finishing off an apple "What was Bats talking about after the meeting?"
"Father wants me to come over and bond with the kid" Damian said slowing down at the stop sign.
"Doesn't he know grizzly bears and children don't mix" Wally joked.
"Shut up" Damian growled. Realizing he was getting frustrated, Damian stopped and took a deep breath.
"Wow, you are even more uptight than normal" Wally tilted his head "What's going on?"
"Let's just say the first time we met didn't go very well" Damian sighed pulling into the parking lot.
"You just don't make good first impressions do you?" Wally laughed "Remember when we first met, you stabbed me in the leg"
"I told you to go away" he pointed out.
"How about when you met Star?" Wally smirked "You were so nervous you introduced yourself as Ribbon then you accidentally said marry me instead of carry these"
"Keep it up I have a sword in the trunk" Damian joked.
"Okay I'm done" Wally laughed "but you know; me and you are best friends now and you're dating Star, give the kid some time and I'm sure he'll come to like you too"
"Thanks," Damian said getting out of the car "I assume I'm paying?"
"Of course," Wally said darting into the restaurant.

Civilian au Robinpile
Just, useless rich boy Damian finally moved out of the house because "he's an adult" and "he does not need to be coddled". Except he doesn't know how to cook so he always orders ubereats because his usual delivery guy Timothy is very prompt and professional and really cute. And then Damian accidentally breaks something and YouTube has failed him and he calls a repair guy and are they supposed to be that attractive? It feels illegal to be as attractive as Mr.Grayson (Mother would skin him alive if he called such a man Dick). And speaking of Damian's mother, how dare she hire a tutor of all things. (Talia doesn't want her son to be a college drop out like his father) and Damian will tell this Todd fellow that his services are not needed an- wow Damian's never seen eyes that color before. And the man is almost as tall as Damian and he's very hot and Damian is so fucking gay he seems to be an adequate enough tutor. After a pointed comment on the status of Damian's apartment's cleanliness Damian hires someone to clean and he didn't ask for a blonde bombshell who is a maid to pay for college but he's not going to complain about Miss Brown.
Actually, this sounds like a dating sim, fuck it it's a dating sim now with all of the robins as routes with extra routes such as TA Duke and "Why is Damian's grandfather so fucking weird why did he hire a swordmaster" Cassandra.
True route is finding out how they all know each other and Damian getting gangbanged by all of them in a polycule of doom.
Okay 1–yes I love all of this yes please YASSS.
2–OKAY I GENUINELY WANT A BATFAM OTOME/VN!!
IT’S SUCH AN EASY SETUP???
Like, a myyysterious mansion, so many hot people, a sexy billionaire with a SECRET prone to taking in young people with problems (you/the MC, OBVIOUSLY).
(Maybe you’re a recently orphaned Distant Wayne Cousin who has Nowhere Else To Go.)
Okay but see my perfect version would be like Hatoful Boyfriend, wherein it seems at first like it’s a quirky otome game…but after you’ve completed a few storylines, things kick in to TWELFTH GEEEEAR and get INTENSE.
I mean, it’s a Batman game, right? There SHOULD be some kind of BIG MYSTERY secretly driving the whole plot.
(OOH OOH maybe partway through “you” realize that this entire thing has been a simulation, and that you’re actually helping to keep them prisoner by entertaining their minds? And you can go yandere and keep them or choose to free them, which means effectively ending yourself?)
ANYWAY, point is, I love the original concept for Damian, AND there shoulda been a Batfam VN yesterday.

Rose Song
credit for this- luvllymack
(Iron dad au, Damianette, classsalt, assgreste, so yah, Marinette had dated Adrian Assgreste and it was a very toxic relationship, stark didn't know about this till a week before they broke up, Sabine and tom had died so stark, and Pepper came to take Marinette with them back to New York they also found out about the class bullying Mari physically and emotionally, so they took Mari out also cause assgreste had started to forcefully make her "his", when she left she started school at midtown high, where her and peter started a sibling bond especially when peter became starks intern, so stark had to go to a Gala and decided to take Marinette with him, as soon as Mari and Damian met they hit it off, the batfam were surprised and Stark had figured this might happen, so we started dating 3 months after that, Damian does know what her class and EX has done to her(he wanted to kill em all, all the Waynes did, peter does not know about Adrien), so this week is a event that midtown decided to host, its where 2 classes from 2 schools would visit midtown for 3 weeks and it so happens the classes are Damians class and Mari's old class, so MPs in this is Damian, Peter, Ned, Mj, Chloe(Shocker), Jon(he is in Damians class). the bat's and the Avenger's were ticked to find out that Marinette's old class was coming, onto this shot(also I fell in love with this song, its helping me design a rose tattoo, i love making tattoo's and drawing))
Mari's P.O.V
all the classes are in the gym for a announcement, I looked over to see Adrien staring at me, I shivered and I'm guessing Peter noticed and so he looked to where I was looking and saw Agreste, Peter came to me and said "don't worry Mari, he wont get to you with me here" I nod and smile a little then the teacher comes in
Teacher: Alright I called you all here because we will be doing a singing contest sign up if you would like to participate, you may wright a song or sing one that has already been made but id love to here ones that tell an experience or story, so please if you can do that.
then the teacher walks out, I decided to sign up and sing a song I had wrote a while back that would tell everyone a little about my story
after that Adrien came up to me "Purrincess why are you here and not with your Prince?" I stiffened at his words "leave me alone Adrien." I glared at him, one of the things I learned from Damian, he went a little pale, so I started to walk again, but Adrdrien snapped out of it and gripped my arm to where it started to bleed, then someone punched Adrien and pulled me into a hug I looked up to see who it was and I was met with green emerald eyes "Agreste, you do not touch my Angel" soon Peter, Mj, Ned, and Chloe showed up "leave!" Damian glares at Agreste using his bat glare, "tch" then he walks away, Damian looked down at me with a worried look "Angel, can I see your arm" I just nod and show them my arm, I heard them gasp then Damian wrapped my arm up.
time skip to the day of the performance
it was cloudy so we couldn't see the sun, the performance was held in the gardens, everyone has gone Lila sung about her and she sounded like nails on a blackboard, Alya sounded like a dying squeal, and Agreste just sounded horrible, but they were praised by my old class, I looked out and saw the bats, Dad, Mom, and the MPS, I was called to the stage, I heard Lila say I probably sounded horrible and the class agreed with it I got a little scared at that point but then something unexpected happened, someone put their hand on my shoulder and said "You can do it, ignore those losers, I think everyone here but them would agree that you can do it" I looked at who said that and saw flash Tompson smiling at me, yah your probably like 'He's supposed to be rude or a bully' well he saw how my old class acted and realized he was the same, so he apologiesed to all the kids he had picked on or bullied so he apologiesed to Peter and I we told him well give him a second chance so he's been a lot nicer, after that i thanked him and walked to the stage and began.
All my life, I've seen myself through your eyes Wonderin' if I am good enough for your time You love me but for all the wrong reasons Am I somethin' to you and not someone? 'Cause I feel trapped on this pedestal you put me on You tell me that I'm beautiful but I think that's an understatement
I saw my friends and family's worried looks and I felt guilty, but I continued the song
'Cause I am more than what I am to you You say I'm perfect but I've got thorns with my petals, too And I won't be confined to your point of view I'm breakin' through the glass you put me in 'Cause my beauty's from within
i saw a lot of people smiling and saw Damian admiring me while smirking, I started blushing.
Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh My beauty's from within Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
i saw Agreste giving me a disgusted look, I felt a tear run down my cheek, until i realised that im free.
So, I am done livin' my life just for you You watched me wither and now you'll watch me bloom
suddenly all the flowers around either bloom, get brighter or the dead flowers come back alive, everyone is just looking around at the garden as its becoming beautiful and healthy
You're hidin' in the dark but I'm reachin' for the Sun, woo-ooh
the clouds start to clear and the sun shines on everyone and everything
'Cause I am more than what I am to you You say I'm pretty but I've got magic that you never knew
suddenly magic is going around the audience
And I won't be confined to your point of view I'm breakin' through the glass you put me in, 'cause
I finally feel freedom here
I am more than what I am to you You say I'm perfect but I've got thorns with my petals, too And I won't be confined to your point of view I'm breakin' through the glass you put me in 'Cause my beauty's from within
i finish to see my class pale and Adrien with an irritated look, i looked to the Croud and everyone stands and cheers, the teacher comes up and say's "i think we have our winner everyone, and thank you for coming out for this." and the she leaves.
i walk off the stage to go to my friends and family, but Agreste grabbed my wrists, i winced from that, and he holds my wrists above my head "Purrincess, you will have your punishment for what you did." he smiles maniacally "And what did I do Agreste!?" i try to loosen his grip on me but he grips them harder and I yelp in pain "you shouldn't do that Purrincess" he smirks only to get punched by peter then Damian, i fell down to the ground after he let go and Pepper, chloe, and Selina come to me, while the others are dealing with Assgreste "Kitten, are you ok!?" selina said worriedly "Hunny what did he do?" mom asks wanting to know if I'm injured, i nodded and showed her my wrists which are purple and black, they still have the punctures from last time, Chloe stood up "I'm going to find a medical kit" and runs of, Selina and Pepper started to look at the bruises, when Chloe gets back they put ointment on the bruises and wrapped my wrists in a bandage, after the boys had all came back and wanted to see if i was ok, when they heard about the bruiseing and Damian and Peter told them about the other day they filled a crap ton of law suits on assgreste, the class, and the teachers and principle
few years later peter had proposed to Mj and now is engaged, Damian and I had gotten married, the class was still trying to pay off the lawsuit, Assgreste is in jail for what he did same with Lila, Alya had been blacklisted along with the rest of their class, so they work at restaurants or ...some other places, Alya was not happy when she FINALLY double checked Lila's lies and found them all fake...but eh.

Styx x Tentadora
"Hmm. Yes. Everything's up to date and running smoothly." The blue demon mused as he ran though the checklist again. Yes. He had done everything that was needed. Then......why did it feel like he was forgetting something?" He stopped."......Oh, yes.......The prince." He was still getting used to the whole caretaker role he was thrust into. His boss, the Devil himself, decided to not only give him the 'honorable' role of caretaker to his only son, but make him also work with the most beauty- I mean infurating robot ever! He grumbled just thinking about it. Turning the corner.....he stopped. What was that noise? Getting closer, he heard what sounded like some one.....singing? It came from the last room to the left. Which he recognized as Damian's room. Confused, he crept slowly forward. Ounce he got close enough, he noticed that the door was slightly left ajar. Curious, he snuck over and peeked in. The room was filled with toys and other child items. Including a rocking chair.....which someone was sitting in. He recognized it as Tentadora. She was holding the cooing prince.....and he had finally found the source of the strange singing. She was singing in a lullaby in a strange language. Even though he couldn't understand what she was saying, it was actually quite lovely. He pressed an ear against the door to hear it better. .......It would have worked....except he forgot one thing. He was too busy focusing on the sweet melody to realize.....It was just so soothing...so....relaxing....he didn't see that.... The door wasn't all the way shut. It swung open, and with a yelp....he tumbled to the floor with a thump. Silence. Groaning, he propped himself up on his arms to lift his head up. The first thing he saw was a pair of pink heels. "...." Gulping, he looked up.".......Uh, oh." The robot was staring right at him. A sleeping Damian in her arms. "..........So nice of you to drop in." She smirked. "......What are you staring at?" "You. That's who. And keep it down. You'll wake the baby." He grumbled. "What are you doing anyway?," she asked as she walked over to the crib. She leaned down to place the baby down before standing back up and facing him. "Aren't you usually checking the souls or something?" "Hmph." He stood up. "I got done, so I came to check up on the Dark Prince." "By spying through the door?" "I was NOT spying." "Like you did NOT fall through the door just now?" ".......All right. Yes. I was watching. I didn't want to disturb you......But that's NOT spying." "Sure it isn't." She smiled at him. "......What language was that in?,'' he asked changing the subject. "It's what mortals call French.'' "And you know that how?" "I was originally built to suduce men. French happens to be the language of love." ".......I see....How's Damian?" "Fine. It was pretty peaceful 'til your spy mission went bust." He growled. "For the last time.....I was NOT spying. You were nicely singing to the prince, and I didn't want to disturb you." A few whimpers could be heard from the crib. ".....Maybe we should leave before your temper wakes him up." "......Yeah. Good idea." They left without another word. A few minutes later, they found themselves down the hall. "........So....you think I sing nicely?~" He stopped."......I just thought it'd be nice to give you a compliment." "Right. Well.....in that case..." She reached down. He tried to get away, but she grabbed him. he yelped as she lifted him up to bear hug him. "Thank you, Styx.~" His blue face flushed a dark purple as he was pressed against her chest. Despite being robotic...she was very soft. "......Are you blushing?~" "NO I'M NOT!!" "Aw.~ That's cute.~" She began walking off. "Woman! Put me down!'' He struggled to get away. "No. You're too fun to mess with.~" He grumbled making her chuckle.

Demon Spawn System
"Okay, I'm doing this for my own benefit..."
chapter >
Died at the hands of The Heretic, Damian Wayne Al Ghul met his fate with dignity and grace as he accepted death as a natural process. As embarrassed as he was to lose a match against his own clone, the mere copy of him; the boy was honorable and undaunted until the last minute of his existence.
However, there came a time when he regained consciousness, and the first thing he saw was not the face of his father with those held features and the frown under the Batman mask, no. Rather, the beautiful face of the devil himself in a designer suit, the person who had his existence at the mercy of his pale hands adorned with pianist's fingers. He was tall, skinny, but under the suit you could see that he was no wimp, for all was worth, the stranger looked elegant, who's legs were so long that he could easily reach the perfect height to be a model. The boy seemed to be around 17-18 years old, as opposed to Damian who was only in his tender 15 years.
"Damian Wayne, heir of the league of assassins and the latest Robin to hold the mantle, eh? Not bad~ Thinking that I could get your soul was not something that was in my calculations, but I'm not complaining at all about this twist in events." With a sly smile, the blond boy received him with a quizzical look that ran over the body of the deceased fleetingly as if he were inspecting it. Damian instantly felt uncomfortable and tried to attack, pointing his sword at the blonde's neck, but his victim didn't flinch.
"Who the hell are you?! Speak up or I'll cut your throat!" Furiously the shorter one complained, but he was clearly not having the desired effect on the older boy.
"Are you done? I'm here to talk business. Naturally it didn't take long for you to realize that you're dead. But if you can do something for me, I can resurrect you back to your normal life. But how improper of me! Where are my manners? My name is Félix, Félix Graham de Vanily." That deal was unbelievable, too much to be true, so there must be a trick involved, Damian thought, who soon questioned with interest, more concealing his intentions.
"How can I believe you? And what do you expect me to do?" Those questions from the dark-haired boy were something that the blue-eyed man had anticipated, and without saying a word he simply snapped his fingers, showing him to the surroundings of the two holographic screens full of information. In one of them was Damian's profile, compiling all of his personal information about his civilian and heroic identities, as well as his movie life records organized by date into each folder; Likewise, entire unopened folders floated around him in color codes that Felix himself knew how to distinguish even without labels.
"Fair enough. Although your actions within the league have been deceitful and have caused a great deal of negative emotions, your duties as Robin have helped redeem yourself, thus the universe has given you a second chance. Naturally, you must be able to restore balance, and you have been chosen to become an agent of the divine Systema just like your predecessor, your butler Alfred Pennyworth." The taller one suddenly raised a hand and with his index finger called one of the folders so that it floated towards his hand, suddenly opening and revealing the life-size three-dimensional figure of the aforementioned when he was much younger. A handsome 25 year old Alfred wearing a general's outfit full of elite insignia that conglomerated his achievements.
"Is that… Alfred?"
"Yes. Your grandfather before me was the former leader of The divine balance system. He gracefully retired on a perfect winning streak. Agent A was admired by most of our agents as the ultimate executor of bastards."
"Yes… That sounds like Alfred. You've got me, Graham. But I need to know the terms of the contract before I agree."
"Naturally."
The pair facing each other were more alike than they could assume at first glance. Both were intelligent and strategic, capable of bringing their enemies to their knees begging for a second chance, masters of martial arts and deception itself. Felix in particular had criminal abilities as an illusionist and a thief, but if Damian lost at anything, it was in business intelligence.
"Listen, Wayne. Your mission is much more complicated than what I would assign to a rookie. But being you one of ex-agent A's trusted people and after reading your file as Robin, I can't find a better candidate for this mission. You need to transmigrate in the miraculous universe and solve the consequences distribution disaster immediately, and when the system decides that you have achieved a successful job, the points you have accumulated will help you pay your debt to the universe to re-incarnate. And once you have enough points, you will have a chance to revive." The stern eyes of his now leader had a certain hint of regret, as if this mission was especially personal for him, and although Damian noticed it, he preferred to save his impressions for when he had more information. Thus, he silently nodded and accepted the electronic tablet that the older gave him into his hands, open in the file that he had to read in detail. In it were the general description of the universe and its respective problems.
Damien then began to read aloud.
"Paris, France. Under the terrorist attack of Hawkmoth, a villain capable of turning basic human emotions into lethal weapons of destruction, turning civlians into monsters. Syren being the best example of that. Oh… Here's a hyperlink for more information… Uhm … I see, the protectors of France are teenagers with no previous training who were forced into the mission without a mentor during their first months, after that, their guardian was compromised and lost his memories, so the new guardian is in the most dangerous position now."
"Indeed. Saving Ladybug from akumatization is our priority if we want to save this universe from Hawkmoth, she is the most competent heroine among several universes I have visited, but the plot is against her in many aspects, to the point of blaming her for actions that she didn't provoke, and lay the consequences that others have earned into her. To be honest, I feel a little sorry for the girl."
"She started her heroine career at when she was 13 years old with no mentor… If Batman were here, he would be having a heart attack listening to all this shit…"
His companion nodded in response, in agreement with his new recruit's casual comment. After that he clapped his hands twice, and behind the two slowly appeared a couple of individual sofa for eachother; Felix wasted no time taking a seat, while Damian turned back a bit perplexed that he hadn't seen those chairs right there before, only to then sit across from his employer.
"Wayne, your duty is to infiltrate a class of your choice in Françoise Dupont, and discover on your own the identities of the heroes to save Ladybug. I am not allowed to give you more information, as not to upset the balance, since the clue that I've given you is big enough. But I warn you to be careful around Adrien Agreste, your main target." Graham de Vanily's face suddenly turned somber, something that alarmed the recently deceased, and on alert he decided to read his file in search of any clues. Nothing else seemed suspicious.
"Adrien Agreste? He doesn't seem very smart, but that could be a mask. What threat does he pose? Do you need me to kill him?" He suggested, but Felix denied much to the juvenile killer's notorious disappointment.
"No, that would be giving him a very easy way out to play the martyr, plus it wouldn't help you get points. But in case it wasn't clear before, that boy is not your ally. I need you to destroy his resources, since his plot armor is too powerful. In fact the most brazen I've ever seen from a male lead, as you'll find out when you finish reading his background, which is why I personally got the right kwami to assist you in your quest as your ally." And with a determined smile, the demon stood up from his seat suddenly, extending to the minor the golden pen that rested in the pocket of his suit. And in front of him a contract materialized in the air prepared under the conditions that the two of them discussed earlier. Said contract would force Félix to fulfill Damian's wish when the time came.
A searing silence, a white room, and in the center, the black kwami in question looking at him with a triforce of huge eyes, and a shark smile. He called himself Null, a creature small enough to hide in his pocket, a being of few words much to the relief of the former hero, who was in no mood to deal with a chatty fellow.
Once the contract was signed, The divine system of balance accepted the former blood prince as one of its own.
