i feel like the reason why sam makes such a good christ figure is that he's not just the chosen sacrifice of the story, he's also shunned and hated for it. the angels don't just see him as an abomination and unworthy of free will or empathy, they hate him because they know that when it comes down to it they also rely on him. after everything they've done, no matter how horribly they've treated him and convinced him that he doesn't deserve redemption, they still expect him to lie down and sacrifice himself. and he in the end he does. but not because they expect him to, but to prove once and for all that they were wrong about him and he can still be good. god what a character

In my version of Utopia, these are best friends and have their own podcast called the BOOPSTERS ( obviously Bobs was the one who named it ) .
---------
This was the art that was working on for days and I rewarded myself to this after one of my exams today !!!
Not a big rant because I'm tired and sleepy af but still wanna post because I love waking up to y'alls notifications
--------------
@beasartblog - one of my first favourite art blog on tumbler and @beesandfigs-abandoned tons of hot and cute love island art , and i just love love their art style. Definitely check them out .(I was gonna tag this way earlier but I thought they deactivated and stopped using tumbler until I saw them liking my post,?!?)
(if you are a account who posts and needs shoutout, dm me or send me an ask and I'll be more than happy to include you)
------------
Update - uhmm wtf guys ? 😭I just woke up to this and this is the most craziest y'all have gotten with the love. Thankyou so much and I'm glad everyone is loving the BOOPSTERS. Maybe they'll be back some day or maybe you'll be treated to some new faces soon since my exams end on 23rd.
Also Seb ->I wanted to do one guy per season ( I don't consider season 5 and 6 a season and I haven't played season 7 yet). Back to why I didn't add seb, I feel like he has more of an introvert energy as compared to these guys, like he's the more kinda quite funny one, and all the LIs featured in this are the loud funny ones, so I felt that the vibe was a BIT different.

My parting gift for the fandom. Just that I don't part in my heart and mind. NEVER!
Go to change.org and take part in the petition to save the series and the spin off! Watch the series again, and most importantly : bring new friends in! That is what interests Netflix the most.

Whitewashing in Fate: The Winx Saga
Did you know that Stella is actually Hispanic coded?
Yup. It’s true.
The original Winx cartoon had amazing diversity and representation. Fate, the Netflix show, erased so much of this. Obviously people are upset about the whitewashing of Flora/Terra (at least actual flora is going to be in the next season) and Musa.
People are upset about the horrible outfits they have Stella in the first season, but what many people don’t realize is that Stella’s cultural background was also erased.
Iginio Straffi, the creator of Winx, based the Winx girls off of popular celebrities of the early 2000s.
Now, we can’t exactly say that anyone in the show is specifically/literally Latina, Asian, etc. because they are not from earth. Meaning, they’re not from Asia, Latin countries, etc. However, they are coded as such, and are from the Magix Dimension equivalent of these places.
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get into it.
Though I don’t personally see the resemblance, bloom is based on Britany Spears. As a result, Bloom is coded as white.
Stella is based on Cameron Diaz (who is Cubana) meaning that she coded as Hispanic. This can also be seen in some of Solaria’s traditional clothing.
Musa is modeled after Lucy Liu, so she is coded as southeast Asian.
Flora is inspired by J.Lo, aka Jennifer Lopez, meaning she is Latina coded.
Aisha is based on the QUEEN herself, Béyonce. So she is coded as black, more specifically as a black Creole.
Tecna is modeled after the singer P!nk, as can be seen in her pink pixie cut. She is coded as white. Many people also consider her to be autistic coded.
