Okay this will sound silly, but I hope Italy has the best birthday ever!!

Italy as a character means a lot to me! It might sound stupid, but even just the fact that he can be the main character despite being “weak” makes me feel really happy! Like most of my favorite characters, I see me in him a lot and he’s helped me discover tons about myself! Italy and the rest of the hetalia characters have been with me from my lowest lows to my highest highs. I love them and I love being a part of such a creative and talented fandom!

GerIta was my first ever ship! In like anything ever! These characters’ chemistry was so powerful even 11 year old me was like “Omg they’re in love!” While I love so many other ships, GerIta will always have a big spot in my heart!

Happy birthday to Yuri Gagarin and happy birthday to Valentina Tereshkova, the first people in space! Yuri Gagarin was born on March 9, 1934 and was the first man in space, while Valentina Tereshkova was born on March 6, 1937 and was the first woman in space!

I know it's been a while, but I'm posting this bearing in mind that today is also Donald's birthday (in addition to June 9). What they are trying to sell is that BC wasn't in Venice Italy in the restaurant/bar pic.

They are INSISTING that THIS picture was taken after the Netflix event (when it was CLEARLY taken in Harry's Bar in Venice Italy!)

Aeltri: Jelly of a Next On Netflix luncheon that Ben went to for work, by himself? Those things are like business meetings with better food. The distinct lack of decorations,🍷and 🥂 is a dead giveaway. If OP thinks that's special they must live in their parent's basement. That's nothing compared to some of the events I've worked at for big corporate clients. One even rented out all of SF City Hall!

And they are PURPOSELY trying to make it sound like the anons, who told about the two "Italy pics" (one with BC in Harry's Bar and the other of the costume birthday party from Loo's Instagram), are saying the pix were taken at the same occasion. BUT NOBODY has ever said that!

Gator and her little gang want to sow the lie (that the "nans" are saying the pics were taken at ghe same time) because then they can bring up the fact that BC isn't in costume as way of proving her wasn't in Italy.

Double birthday for Italy's national broadcaster Rai! 100 years since its birth and 70 years of TV!

Topolino celebrates Rai with a special volume collecting some of the best stories dedicated to tv.

Rai was formed in 1924 under the name Unione Radiofonica Italiana (Italian Radio Union), or URI for short, as a branch of Guglielmo Marconi's Marconi Company to take up the role of national broadcaster after a Royal Decree in 1923 had made wireless broadcasting a state monopoly. In 1944, the name was changed in Rai (Radio Audizioni Italiane).

On 3rd January 1954, following the examples of other national broadcasters around the world, Rai began a regular television service with a report on the inauguration of the new tv headquarters in Turin, Milan and Rome and a following program on... you guess it? football ^^.

Needless to say, Rai's always been a very good friend of Topolino and Disney in general, with tons of parodies and mutual tributes spreaded across the years.
