Summary: To celebrate Wednesday coming to Netflix, Jenna livestreams on Instagram in order to answer and questions and talk to her fans. The questions soon take a turn in the direction of her partner, Y/N L/N. ~ Word Count: 1.363k ~ Warnings: SO fluffy

A/N: Hi!! I merged two very similar requests and made it gender neutral so hopefully thats ok. I’m really trying to crank out these requests for you guys cause there is A LOT of them, but I don’t want to close my requests so just know if you submit one it may take a while <3 p.s i mention in this fic that the reader and Jenna are drinking. I’m aware that Jenna is 20 and in the states the legal age is 21, but where I’m from it’s 18 so just deal with it xx

With Jenna’s music playing softly through the speakers of the living room of your shared apartment, the two of you were preparing to stream her new show ‘Wednesday’ for the first time as it finally comes to Netflix. It was currently 30 minutes away from being released and you had decided to treat the moment as a small celebration, preparing various snacks as well as some celebratory cocktails. You wanted nothing more than to celebrate your girlfriend which is why you insisted on doing all the preparation, allowing Jenna to livestream on her instagram to interact with fans before the big release.

With Jenna sat on the couch setting up the livestream and you going back and forth from the kitchen preparing for the incoming marathon, there was an air of excitement within your home that filled you with nothing but pure joy. Jenna had set up her phone, held up by your empty cocktail glass, on your coffee table. “Y/N I’m going to start streaming in a minute. Are you sure you don’t want to be in it?” Jenna questions, turning around on the couch to look at you in the kitchen, offering you a small smile. “No that’s ok. They wanna see your gorgeous face not mine.” you jokingly flirt with a look of admiration on your face. “Besides I need to finish setting up for our little marathon. I’m excited to see you on screen for like… 6 hours?, which shouldn’t be too hard seeing I can never take my eyes off you anyway.” “Y/N!” Jenna shouts as she becomes increasingly flustered, her cheeks now painted red, making her look somehow more adorable. “Ok suit yourself but I’m going to start now. I love you” she says blowing you a kiss. “I love you too” you reply, looking at her with heart eyes as her focus returns to her phone as she starts the livestream.

“Hellooooo” Jenna greets as the viewers start pouring in, the comments instantly flooding with excitement. “God this is really exciting.” she starts, flashing her beautiful smile to the audience. “Wednesday is officially on Netflix in… 21 minutes so I thought I would come on here and we could just chill out and I’ll answer any of your questions”

As she talks to her fans and answers numerous questions about the show, you can’t help but just stare at her. One of the things you always admired about Jenna was her passion for the things, and people, she loves, so watching her genuinely enjoy herself whilst interacting with her fans makes you grin inwardly, a small smirk appearing on your face as you try to return your focus onto the drinks.

You were trying your best to not disturb her and remain as quiet as possible, but these cocktails weren’t going to make themselves, so you fill up your shaker with the ingredients and start mixing. Jenna immediately lifts her head, turning it in your direction as you shoot her an apologetic smile. Jenna looks back at her phone apologising for the noise as the topic of the comments suddenly change.

A smile immediately forms on Jenna’s face at the the mention of your name. “Sorry guys that’s just my partner Y/N.” she says through her giddy smile. “We are planning on watching the show together and they wanted to make some celebratory cocktails”

Jenna giggles at the influx of comments begging for you to join her, eventually giving in and agreeing to get you to come say hi. “Y/N?”, she calls from the couch. “Yeh?” you reply, pouring out the two cocktails into separate glasses, adding a small garnish to make it extra fancy. “Can you come here please? Everyone wants you to say hi.” “Oh” you think out loud, not expecting them to take any interest in you. “Ok I’ll be there in a second hold on”. Grabbing the two drinks you walk towards your couch, entering the background of her live as her fans start to blow up at the site of you. As you round the couch, you place the two glasses down of your coffee table and take a seat next to Jenna, giving her a small kiss on the cheek. Shifting your focus to her phone you instantly notice the copious amounts of questions that continue to flood the comments.

“Hi” you say with a small chuckle. “Hi cutie.” Jenna says returning a kiss onto your cheek. “Ok so we have about 5 minutes before the shows live so fire away I guess” she smiles, facing her phone to read the comments as she slips her hand into yours.

jennaortegamyidol: how long have you guys been dating?? and where did you meet??

“We have been together for just over 2 years now” Jenna replies instantly glancing at you with a smile “Best two years of my life” you casually added, squeezing her hand and admiring her side profile as you see the familiar red return to her cheeks. “We met through mutual friends when we were like 16 or so and starting dating just after we both turned 18” you continued, taking your eyes off your girlfriend to address the audience.

jennaoutfits: who’s most likely to fall asleep whilst watching something together??

“Oh definitely Y/N” “What?!?” you retort incredulously, letting go of her hand playfully glaring at Jenna. “You have to be kidding me. It is so you, you legit always fall asleep on top of me when we watch something. I’d be shocked if you make it through Wednesday without falling asleep.” you fight back causing Jenna to just laugh before admitting defeat. “Yeahhh your right”. “Damn right.” you boast before adding, “I love it though it’s super cute” giving her a quick peck on the cheek.

As soon as Jenna read it out loud, a small teasing smile spread on her face as she slowly turned her head, resting it on her hand, and just looked at you. You looked at her for a second before accepting defeat. “Yeah that would be me” you chuckle looking slightly embarrassed. “I mean rightfully so though I mean look at you. Your gorgeous. I don’t know how I got you in the first place there is no way I’m letting anyone take you away from me.” you rant in an attempt to justify yourself as Jenna watches in pure amusement. “Love don’t worry your hot when your jealous.” she teases, placing a chaste kiss on your pouting lips, instantly causing you to smile.

“Oh guys it’s live in less than a minute.” Jenna suddenly announces realising the time. “I think that means we are going to leave this here and let you all go.” “All of you better go support my girlfriend or I swear I will find you” you jokingly threaten as Jenna flashes you an appreciative smile. “Thanks for being here guys. I love you all. Thank you guys so much for the support I hope you enjoy the show.” she finishes as she blows them a kiss, ending the stream.

As Jenna throws her phone to the other end of the couch, she grabs the two cocktails, handing one to you, and faces you. “Cheers. To my beautiful girlfriend and her unbelievable talent” you lift you glass staring at your girlfriend with nothing but pure adoration in your eyes as she attempts to hide her blush. The two of you toast glasses and take a drink, before placing them down on the coffee table and snuggling into each other with Netflix open and ready.

Jenna places her head on your chest and wraps her arms around you waist holding you tight. “You are really cute when you are flustered you know.” you whisper into her hair, lacing it with small and gentle kisses. “Shut up” she murmurs smiling, playfully hitting your stomach as you chuckle softly, picking up the remote and pressing play.

slipping through my fingers

a/n- hellooooo, i lowkey suck at writing angst, but here. i'm struggling on writing the second part of lead, this is why i can never write two parted stories

this is my attempt of writing angst because i've been watching so many of those i peeled my orange tiktoks

For Jenna’s 20th birthday, you wrote her a 20 paged letter.

You remember working on it and spilling her heart out, out of everything you loved about her, the way you planned on marrying her when you both were older, and your secrets.

You had told her to keep it until exactly one week after her birthday, you said you wrote so many personal things in there and wanted her to keep it safe.

She had twirled you in her arms and kissed you on her birthday, you showered her with love and presents.

The night of her birthday you told her you loved her.

Two days after her birthday, Jenna wanted to make it up to you, thank you, she had brought your favorite flowers, daffodils.

She drove to your parents and your house that day, knocked on your house.

Your parents opened the door, their eyes slowly mellowing as they met Jenna’s.

“It’s good to see you Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N. I wanted to give these flowers to Y/N to thank her and how much she’s given to me ever since she entered my life. You raised a beautiful daughter.”

Your parents smiled, playing with their hands, “That’s so thoughtful of you Jenna, thank you. Unfortunately Y/N isn’t home right now and is out of town. Maybe you can drop it off.. On a later day?”

Jenna’s smile faded a little as she nodded, “Of course, let Y/N know I visited.”

They nodded as they gave her a hug and closed the door, Jenna left with the beautiful daffodils in her hands.

11/4, one week after.

Jenna brings her flowers that she got for you a few days back, they were a little wilted, but just as pretty as ever. She picks them up and changes the water, gently grasping it and walking to meet you.

She wore your sweater before leaving her house.

This time she didn’t go to your parent’s house.

The weather was colder as she wrapped your sweater over herself more, sniffling.

The grass was pretty, flowers were everywhere as if she were in a meadow.

She placed the daffodils against the surface of your grave with shaky hands.

As much as she tried to smile, she couldn’t.

“Why couldn’t you have just told me you were going to slip away from my fingers? Why didn’t you tell me that you had an incurable brain tumor? Why did you have to pass away in front of my eyes as you held my hand?” She whispered, her voice cracking.

She knew why you had asked her to read the letter you had gotten her a week after her birthday.

The pretty sunsets that appear every evening are always a trace that I’m still lingering here with you. I’m sorry I never told you. I wish I could, but I didn’t want to ruin your birthday, I wanted to make you so happy and I couldn’t bear the thought of telling you. So I didn’t. I know you took my favorite sweater the first time you ever wore it, so I told my parents to give all of my sweaters to you so you can hold them and my scent can comfort you whenever you miss me. I had bought a ring for you, I wanted to marry you, you made me happy. I wanted to spend my whole life with you. The ring reminds me of you. It reminded me of us. And even though I’m no longer here to marry you, I want to give it to you as a present to wear to remind you that I’ll love you and I’ll always be holding your hand. I wish I could pick you up in my arms and hug you forever. But I can’t. I remember when we were little kids and I scraped my knee on the concrete when we were biking. You had held me in your arms and kissed the wound, telling me that you would kiss it better. As much as I’m an open wound and your kisses heal me, they can’t heal me this time. But over time, your kisses will heal your wounds of me. Till you finally look up at the sky at the sunset and smile. I love you.

Jenna sobs against the railing of your hospital bed as she hugs you tight, your eyes barely open.

“D-don’t go.” She says, her voice below a whisper as she wants to just cradle you and kiss it better.

She wishes she could kiss it better. The only thing she could do was climb into your hospital bed, holding your weak body in hers.

She caresses your cheek as you look at her, sniffling a little, “I’m sorry.”

She gives you a tearful smile, sobbing, “Don’t be sorry. I’m sorry. I love you so much.”

Your hair was down as she caressed it, the beeping of the monitor slowing.

Her hand held yours, holding it so tightly so you’ll never let go.

You looked up at her, the smallest smile forming as you whispered.

“I love you too. I love you so much. I’ll love you so much.”

Your eyes close, as much as Jenna loved spending time with you, this was the worst memory she could’ve ever experienced.

She kisses your forehead as you keep whispering “I love you.” Till it stops.

Your breathing slows, till you exhale your very last breath, your hand slipping away from her fingers, your body going limp in her arms as she lets out a gut wrenching sob.

When you are cuddling, he runs his fingers across the marks

If he can, he will kiss them as well

Whenever he greets you, say, if he was coming home from a mission, he would kiss your lips, and run his ands across the areas your stretch marks are on

Finding out that you are insecure about your stretch marks genuinely shocks him

He will hold you protectively, keeping his nose buried in your sweet smelling hair, and rubbing small circles around the marks

If you aren't in the mood to be held, he will lay on his stomach in between your legs, tracing the marks and counting them

I am so bloody excited and here's why!!!

This plot is going to be so gorgeous!

Season 2 is all about the reversal, the opposite of what we've seen in season 1, and ofmd is so incredibly character-driven. Even more specifically, the plot is driven the most (almost entirely) by Stede, Ed and Izzy.

The story is so driven by the three of them, they are linked together, for better or for worse, right from the start.

What happens in season 1?

Stede is running away from his life and he stumbles into Ed's. Throughout the season there are hints of his issues with fear, and then the big one happens: he's confronted with his greatest fear, aka ruining everything, and he runs away again. His biggest problem is his fear.

Ed is unhappy with his life, waiting to drown (hellooooo, season 2 metaphors), he's a Peter Pan-level lost boy. He doesn't know who he is. When Stede doesn't meet him on that dock he becomes convinced he's unlovable and becomes completely lost. Why? Because his greatest fear was confirmed.

Izzy's life is disrupted by Stede, he becomes Stede's antagonist. He's angry, he's jealous, he clings to the only life he's known to keep him and Ed safe, aka violence and unkindness. He becomes a catalyst for problems. Why? Because he's scared.

These three characters are all so scared and in such different ways that it creates an absolute maelstorm of a plot, and it's breathtakingly brilliant.

Now, season 2 is all about the reversal: of fortunes, motivations, lives, everything.

Stede is no longer scared and no longer running: he's in love with Ed, he knows he's in love. He becomes unstoppable. Now he'll go on without fear. (He lifts the covering off "dead" Ed's face, unafraid to see what he finds there.) He's going to show Ed how much he loves him, and he's no longer scared of ruining Ed. More than that, he accepts that he's hurt Ed, and that doesn't frighten him away from facing him. (Stede is also ahead of Ed and Izzy on this journey, because Stede is in charge of the narrative, and that's so gorgeous.)

Ed is now finding himself. He tries to find himself in the grotesque Blackbeard persona, but of course he's wrong, poor thing. He's spiralling, more and more lost. First change: Ed chooses life, he stops drowning (Stede as a source of light again, btw, sjldfhsjdf). Ed's journey now is about finding himself, deciding who he wants to be, and also to let go of his own fears. He'll be finding himself and accepting love and being brave enough to express love.

And Izzy! Izzy, in his own reversal, becomes a catalyst for solutions and a unifier, where he was once a divider. He stands up to Ed (and he chooses life too, jfc, he shot that torch out of Ed's hand in the middle of a storm, don't tell me he missed when aiming at his own head, the whole message of ofmd is choosing life!), and he reaches out to Stede, wants to mend things. He'll be teaching Stede how to be a pirate, he'll be helping. He will be letting go of his anger, which also stemmed from fear.

These three scared characters are now actively choosing to not be afraid any more, and they're choosing life. And this is how they'll drive the plot this time.

This is so, so incredible and beautiful, and I absolutely love it.

And it's not upending the order. No, no, that's what the first season was about. This? This is about putting things right.

I haven't felt like this in forever. He makes me feel whole. We barely know each other but i feel like I've known him all my life.

My assistant, Rose, snaps her fingers in my face

"Hellooooo! Earth to y/n" she says while trying to get me to focus on what she is saying.

" I have been talking to you for almost 5 minutes. Were you even listening?" she says while putting her hands on her hips. She can be very sassy at times. Thats why I hired her.

"Yeah sorry." I speak. Rose can be very nosey about my personal life which i understand, she is my assistant, so i guess if their is a person to tell it would be her.

"Well as i was saying... You need to be up around 10 tomorrow. Channel has invited you to a private fitting with their new fall line that nobody has seen. They want you to be the first person." Rose says while pointing and dramatizing her words to me.

I nod and look away.

I think for a second. Maybe i could bring Jude? If I'm allowed.

"Do you think i could bring someone to come with?" I ask rose. Hoping she says yes. and if she doesn't, I just won't go. It's not like they've never had me for a private fitting before.

"Yes, but you both have to sign an agreement that you guys cannot post anything about the line before it has been realized, talk about the line, or take pictures of any of the clothing." Rose says to me. I jump up and down in my head. Already knowing who I'm going to invite.

"Is that all?" I ask rose. It is very late and i hope she doesn't have anything else to talk about

Rose nods her head.

"Good Night y/n/n" Rose says while giving me a hug.

"Good night, Rosie"

Rose leaves my room and I sprint to pick up my phone and open Messages.

I text Jude if he would like to come. He respondes almost automatically saying yes with three hearts.

We say goodnight to each other and i put my phone down and go to sleep.

Next Day

I arrive at Channel Headquarters- We go through the back entrance to not be spotted.

Rose has already informed the people at Channel that someone will be coming to watch the fitting so they lead us to a Meeting rooms so Jude and I can sign the legal papers.

Jude arrives not long after us. He walks into the room and i immediately get up from my seat and walk to hug him.

We embrace each other lovingly.

I whisper in his ear "aren't you handsome."

We break the hug and he kiss' me on the cheek. I sit back down while he goes to shake the Channel representees hands and then sits down.

I can already see Rose looking at me with a smirk on her face.

We sign all the legal paperwork and discus the meaning behind the line and the significance of it.

"Well since all of the paperwork is done, let's go try on some clothes." one of the representatives says excited

"I know you will love them Y/n" they say

"Jude you are more than welcome to try on clothes as well. We have a wide variety of men's clothes from this line and would like to you try some on." they also say

They lead us all out to the racks and fitting rooms where Jude and I would be trying on clothes.

" Rose" I motion her over

"Can you tell them to turn on my playlist" I say to her with a smile.

Rose nods and goes to find a worker.

"Wow." Jude says and i turn to him with a confused look.

"You have your whole playlist here" he says surprised and smirks.

"Well when you're always here i Guese there is some perks" I say laughing as i walk to inspect the racks. I hear Donna Summers 'Love to Love you baby' over the speakers.

"Now shall we get started" i clap my hands as workers come and bring us wine and finger foods to eat while we try on the clothes.

"We shall" Jude smirks

i'm just getting started 😈😈 no but the idol has changed me. That show was so wack but ep 3 was actually kinda good 💀 pt.3 should be coming out on Friday but im leaving for a trip for sports so i won’t be on my phone. So Friday is not guaranteed but it either Friday or Monday. I hope y’all l liked this 😍🫶
