why the hell is christian music so devoid of lyricism. like i KNOW you guys can do better ive listened to sufjan stevens. ive heard that one jars of clay song. theres so much ground you could cover thematically and tonally and lyrically but like. it feels like a genuine oddity to find a song EXPLICITLY about christianity that sounds better than 'overproduced amateur who decided their first pass at the lyrics was good enough to sing to millions of people and also god'

okay, but where's my steddie AU where steve wants to learn to play guitar to impress a girl he's infatuated with and he remembers that munson kid was always hanging up posters for his weird band at school, so he hikes out to eddie's usual dealing spot behind the track and asks (with far less groveling than he really should have) if eddie will teach him how to play, and obviously eddie says no because why would he want to help king steve, but of course, steve offers to pay him, $20 a week, and well, that's the kind of get-the-hell-out-of-this-shithole-town cash eddie really can't afford to refuse, so fine, he'll teach steve to play and they'll spend inordinate amounts of time together tucked away in eddie's room and they'll start to see that they have more in common than they thought and that they kind of had each other all wrong, and eddie will put his hand over steve's to help him get the placement for a tricky chord and it totally won't awaken anything in either of them?? where is it??
edit: i started writing it

I'm just gonna say it again real quick:
Yes!! Iron Man is a tragedy! It has and always has been since the very first appearance in 1963 which describes itself, Tony's life, and legacy, as such.
Tony causes most of his issues himself, he is his biggest villain, a majority of his rogues gallery are caricatures of the worst versions of himself brought to life (when they're not just being racist cuz...60s...). The worst thing about being Tony Stark is that he can't stop being Tony Stark (he tried!!) That is the point.
The majority of pain Tony goes through, is pain he inflicts on himself, whether intentionally or inadvertently. That is the point.
He is not A villain (at least. Not usually. There are...some rough moments and arcs that are. Not great. As there is with any character as old as he is). But he is his own main antagonist.

Shadow The Hedgehog (2005) whole plot can be perfectly exemplified by the song ‘Man or Muppet’ from The Muppets (2011)

Silly lil self-indulgent headcannon that during his time with Umbrella, Luis got pretty good at drawing from life- and now he doodles the things that mean the most to him <<<333 but he’d NEVER show his sketchbook to Leon. That’d be way too embarrassing

collab between me and @mr-steal-your-spleen :3 basically, juno has never seen snow before, so nureyev takes him to a planet where it’s always snowing. seasonal romance ensues.
this is POST CANON so theyve COMMUNICATED and they are RETIRED!!!!! war is over!!!!
i did the sketches and lineart, and spleen did all the color work!!! THANK YOU SPLEENIE I LOOOVE YOUUU!!!!!
progress shots & additional notes under the cut!
please note that nureyev had scruff in the initial sketch.. after all these years he’s finally growing facial hair… also LOOK AT HOW BRIGHT SPLEEN MADE HIS EYES <33 this is just like in the penumbra podcast when juno steel wonders how peter nureyev can still have bright eyes even though they are stuck in a martian tomb!
spleen is SO GOOD with colors i am SHAKING… i’m better with shapes and lines and spleen loves colors so this was just. perfect. let me tell you i cannot stop looking at this. i want it tattooed sideways on my back like a badly imported jpeg
