Danny is living with [insert DC hero of your choice,] and hangs out with the younger gen (YJ or the SuperSons) but due to retiring from the hero scene prior, he needs the rest, they hang out in civilian form and don't know much about his dealing with ghosts aside from him being Phantom and the like.

Through shenanigans the teens are put on punishment. You can't really ground a group of highly trained kids the same way you ground regular kids so they're sentenced to chaperoned hangouts ONLY. And NO your older siblings don't count batkid, they're messes. This new stipulation gets in the way of their plans and their punishment gets extended everytime they sneak out to gather without an adult. Their cries of First Amendment violations fall on deaf ears bc Batman is clearly a criminal who deserves a pillow that's warm..on both sides.

Danny, however, has a great idea. They were told they needed an adult. They never said they needed a living adult. And who's one adult he can boss around with no issue? Fright Knight

False, a knight famous for her ability to slay magical beings, was sent by her king to defeat the greatest threat of all - the fae. Here, she enters the faerie realm and is greeted by none other than the queen herself, waiting upon her forest throne.

Having grown up on tales of the fae and their evil trickery, False is surprised by how beautiful and kind the queen is, but isn’t going to let down her guard yet.

Queen Stress is rather impressed by this mortal who not only managed to find her way into the faerie realm, but is also brave (and foolish) enough to try and fight her! She has no intention of hurting False, and instead wants to teach her the mischievous ways of the fairies, get her to lighten up a bit and all that. And, well, if she tries to court the handsome knight along the way, who can blame her?

I like to think that when Mini Mal the son becomes a kid (like 6 yrs old) he gets so good at magic that no one can track him anymore except for dad. Uncles Silver and Sebek would always have their hands full searching for him with zero luck. Malleus is always on top of exactly where his son is though, but when Silver and Sebek beg him to tell them where the little prince is, he'd only chuckle quietly and say "Hm, I wonder."

That's because he knows that his son's hobby is following and getting a kick out of his uncles desperately searching for him.

So when Silver and Sebek approach their master again to beg for coordinates, Malleus hands them a map with an encircled location and simply says "Have fun," with a smile. The pair rush to the specified place with the boy secretly in tow.

It's a little village currently holding a festival. Popcorns, cotton candies, ferris wheels, roller coasters. Magic. With sparkling eyes and mouth agape, the little boy finally appeared between his uncles to excitedly drag them around the festivities.

Their kindly king had asked them to take a break.

Dick can't prove shit and it's going to drive him insane that he can't. He can't find out Danny's real name, his family history, even if this kid has a diploma because Tucker scrubbed every trace of Danny off any electric device in the world. (And via blackmail and bribes used various ghosts to clear out any physical copies) Of course, if Danny wants that information made available again, Tucker can do that

But. What Dick can find is what Danny requested be left. Which is only things from hundreds, thousands of years ago. Mosaics of him in ancient temples. Busts of him carved by long dead famous sculptors. Hell, he's even now heard rumors there's ancient art of Danny on other planets! He's even mentioned in ancient texts!

And. What's even worse. Is occasionally Jason shows up or is mentioned too. But Dick can prove Jason was born 18 years ago dammit so it's the only clue he has that there is shenanigans afoot.

it's the day before my birthday, and my girlfriend surprised me with an outing to a local bird aviary/botanic gardens in the mountains!!!

this was an absolute delight for me, known bird enjoyer, and i got to have many cute and phenomenal birds perched on my head (which i loved and plushie magolor 'tolerated', on account of it being my birthday). i even got to see a nicobar pigeon, which i had never seen in person before!

they also surprised me with an early birthday present to use at the incredible mountain-top picnic spread my gf planned (😭😭) of this extraordinarily cute kirby themed liquid-glitter cup!!

and of course, in true starflung fashion i injured myself twice

once, not three minutes into the outing when my umbrella (which i only require because i'm allergic to both the sun and sunscreen) bit me, and my gf had to run to reception to get me a bandaid. later, when i just totally fkn stacked it on some loose gravel on a slope and i got the umbrella back by slamming it into the ground, along with my knees and one palm. but not the other palm, which was holding plushie magolor, who touched neither gravel nor dirt and never will while i still breathe!

#i am so accident prone and also stupidly fragile in every way. but i'm fine and i found both of these incidents hilarious! #i feel it is important that everybody know that my mum (who has dementia but recognises plushie magolor) asked “is that magolor” when- #she saw meta knight on the cup. i said “no that's meta knight” and she replied “oh i should have known. he's not as cute as magolor.” #and magolor's ego grew THREE TIMES that day let me tell you #the cup is also extremely important as a gift actually. i recently accidentally smashed a childhood glitter cup i've had my whole life #i adored it to bits; comfort item; it had toucans on it. i was quite devastated when it broke #but it's been impossible to replace (despite my gf's best efforts) and we knew no substitute would really hit the same. #but THIS is similar enough yet different enough and so *perfect* in its own right that it really... fills the spot. #my gf is phenomenal at gifts and surprises. truly she is unfathomable. i am so spoiled 🥺 #7inch plushie magolor return to dreamland #he does have other bows btw!! he's been dressing up for halloween and christmas and such but this is his Party Bow! #starflungs personal tag

getting to feel his hands wrap around your waist and pull you close to him as he mumbles in a groggy tone about how tired he is from work, how he's so glad he can come home to you. his hand traces up to cup your cheek, its slightly rough from combat, you can assume. but its so warm and he knows you enjoy it on you.

being pulled into a kiss and getting to feel him subconsciously wrap a hand around your neck, pulling you closer while he drums on the sides of your neck..... sigh ........

Watching his deft fingers undo all the clasps and straps holding his armour on, the heavy clanks of each piece as he sets them down, the gentle clinking of chainmail as he lifts it over his head. Stripping off the tunic he's wearing underneath and hastily shrugging on his bedclothes before he gets into bed with you. His hands are rough from training and yours rough with house and yardwork but neither of you mind, his fingers find their place around your neck and waist as he kisses you desperately, murmuring how much he missed you.
