aksdjflkjd Raph said this in season 4 and I laughed so hard at the idea of Donnie somehow managing to get offended by this even while in a completely different universe, and so then whatever this is was born pffffft your welcome?
Also here have some of the super early quick sketches :)
And have this little angry guy too cause why not heheh

My dude, I cannot tell you the delight your comics give me. I just found them recently, so I'm pretty far into the story, and realized I didn't see any of Greygold meeting/interacting with Dame Aylin. Did I just miss it or did that never happen? And if it didn't happen maybe could you make it happen?
I feel like their personalities are parallel lines. Aylin is so....intense, but I feel like she and Greygold would have a lot of overlap. I also just love imagining Aylin going off on a Shakespearean monologue about love, duty, fighting impossible odds ect, and Greygold sincerely and wholeheartedly being like "It do be like that sometime."
There were a few Dame cameos, but you're right, no official interactions between the two. That's because even though Greygold is vibing with utmost admiration for Dame and Isobel, brain cells ain't got jack deemed drawing worthy, alas!
But! One small silly thought did pop up for this so- (just….had to will myself to look for references huaaahhh)

Meijack's braids are messy because her dad isn't around to do them for her anymore. Also, she's (only) a dedicated locksmith, while he also works with rope due to his dungeoneering experience, so that likely kept his skill at that sharp so he did fine with Marcille's.
when Chilchuck finally retires and reaches out the first thing he does is, re-braid her hair.
but i think her hair is simply too wild to be tamed into fine braids, there are always little locks that are just too short to reach the next wave, or too long an stick out at the end, it's okay, she learned to live with it, if it's an eyesore for others, they are welcome to look away (at least that's the vibe i get from May)
it's their non-verbal quality time for sure.
