At the risk of people coming at me, I don't know if I entirely see the issue with creativered?

His views are obviously problematic and the wording is harsh, I'm not denying that, but from the profile text, it seems like he kinda does his best to mind his own business and avoids interacting with the people he wouldn't be comfortable calling by their pronouns so that he doesn't actually "have to" misgender anyone?

So... Are we angry not about people being actively misgendered by him (which I haven't actually heard of anyone saying he's done to them) - We're angry about the hypothetical misgendering he would do if he had to interact with someone who doesn't have a common set of pronouns? That seems a bit mild for the amount of harassment I've seen him get through the blogs. Like obviously that's not good either, I just don't know that I feel good about someone being met with this sheer amount of vitriol about something that I don't know has even happened yet.

I'm just not seeing a lot of constructive discussions, only a lot of (granted, understandable) anger, but some people are just being extremely hostile to someone who's already avoiding them and it's verging on bullying which I don't really think is the best course of action here tbh. I kinda worry that kinda response will just push someone further away from even wanting to try and understand.

And at the risk of sounding uneducated, this is a very genuine question, do you really have to use all of someone's pronouns all the time? Say if someone uses both they/them and it/its pronouns, and you choose to exclusively use they/them for that person, for whatever reason, be it discomfort or grammatical struggle or what, is that then misgendering? Because I thought unless someone outright states a preference, using multiple sets of pronouns means that those are all equally okay to use? Sorry, this is something I've been confused about for a while.

its definitely a hotly discussed topic and i can only give my own opinions

bullying would be to go to him directly with the intent to cause harm be it mentally or emotionally and as far as im aware the only talk has been anons commenting on how his views have made them feel. i will never condone for anyone to bully/harass/witchhunt anyone on this blog

i can only speculate but i will say it is not misgendering to use exclusively they/them for someone who uses they/them/it/its pronouns because it's part of the pronouns they'd be comfortable with being called. it can be a case-by-case basis on which ones they'd prefer more so make sure to ask someone personally

i believe the problem lies in if someone's pronouns are only it/its or the emoji/aesthetic pronouns and creativered would then not use those pronouns out of his own comfort, even if it means misgendering someone and thus harming them in turn. you're correct that all of this is hypothetical and i don't think any evidence of it happening has come to pass, and it's good creativered has chosen to stay silent as i highly doubt any reply from him would be necessary or wanted

the main thing im focused on is more the fact creativered has sent an ask to a drama blog when succubun has blocked people for interacting with drama blogs. so why is creativered getting a pass? is it because he's a brownnoser and gives yves and luca a load of money? is it because they might share creativered's viewpoints? it could even be a mix of both but regardless both are a clear favoritism

hi olli! do you have any tips on developing your ocs above the surface level like personalities, traits and such? i feel like with i know my ocs but not to an extend of having them fully developed? do you use any prompts and what advice could you give to someone who's terrible at building pinterest board for their ocs? 😭 thank you <3

omg hi!!! first of all im flattered that u came to me of all people to ask this omg? and absolutely!!! gonna do it under the cut cause i have a lot to say <3

okay i get what u mean abt not knowing an oc past the surface level omgg it takes a lot to break through that, ive had vin as an oc for i think just over two years and it's only recently ive truly been able to get deep into his core. i find that doing ask games and such for ocs helps me because it forces me to think of aspects i never really considered so my first tip is look at ask games, you dont need to have the questions send to you to answer them!! it helps develop your character in the smallest ways that can snowball into bigger aspects of their personality. you can find some at @ocaskmemes also @develop-your-oc is SOOOOO useful omg their tag page has everything you could possibly need!!!!! also i LOVE using this ask game by @/deathbypufferfish for developing romantic relationships between ocs!!! i like to keep all the answers in a document to reference later!! (also those cute as hell oc sheets? a god send. if you search oc profile on pinterest u can find so many!!)

fully developing an oc is pretty tricky tbh so don't feel like you need to have everything set in stone within a week or smth, take your time, switch ideas around, scrap things entirely. in the end this oc is YOURS!! you don't need to have their entire life known to you for you to enjoy them!

pin boards for ocs are also helpful for development tbh. when you start a board dont expect it to be amazing right away like my tang board is terrible and its only recently ive figured out how i wanted it like just look at the difference (top is the new one)

expect your boards to be bare bones when you first start them!! usually i have a vague idea for an oc when i start them like their appearance and for solitude specifically i know what their issues are no matter how undeveloped it is. i like to start with like appearance based pins first tbh cause it sets good ground work like eye colour, hair colour, outfits etc (these are all subject to change so don't feel tied down to them) and trust eventually you will reach an aesthetic you like. just keep adding things that make u think of that oc!! u can clean it up later when you have a more solid idea of what you want. one of the big things i recommend is to follow other simblrs on pinterest, if you want some good ones just look at the people i follow (@/lucidicer on pin) look at their oc boards they can really give u some good inspo and dont be afraid to steal the pics pdjfhjdhg. also BIG one...add 'aesthetic' to all your pinterest searches 😁

OMG HI IM SO SORRY I DIDNT SEE THIS EARLIER

lkdfahsd okay so. I don't live in the US so I'm not up on what brands are commonly available, but I think Gordon's tends to be the cheapest, go-to basic everywhere, and it's perfectly fine tbh. Their pink gin is yummy! I think what makes more of a difference to how a gin and tonic tastes is the tonic, honestly, but. that doesn't stop me from using store brand tonic water lmao.

Anyway! If I'm in a bar and it's not busy or loud I'll often specify Bombay, and while it's a bit nicer than Gordon's, this was mostly a choice based on the aesthetic of the bottle lol. Oh, another cheaper brand that we genuinely enjoy is Puerto de Indias, but that might only be in Spain.

Tanqueray has this really amazing "rangpur lime" gin which I actually love- I love lime flavored liquors, and the flavor really comes through in this one, especially if you squeeze a lime wedge into your glass as well. Ummm oh at a gin bar recently I tried Citadelle gin, which was SUPER yummy- it was sweet and kinda fruity/orange-tasting, and I think it might be the next one we try at home.

If you're in the UK, I think you could probably go to any grocery store (or maybe at least posher ones) and also see a few locally-produced brands, which I also like to try!

I'm sure someone's asked before, but I'm new to this blog and I absolutely love Warframe, so if you're willing to share, totally cool if not and feel free to ignore the ask, but who are your top three favourite Warframes and why? My favourites so far are Rhino, Octavia and Volt. Rhino is my go-to tank because of his steel skin, but I've turned Octavia into a pretty good build as well, though I do die a bit more with her. I got to try out Volt and definitely want him for myself because of the shields, speed boost, and electric AOE abilities. Happy Warframing! 💖

my top 3 tend to usually be mesa, wisp, and hildryn with oberon usually being an honorable mention. i do love me some self-sustain bc i am not good at video games. with mesa i liked her design and her powers were easy for me to build for and still be contributing to the squad. wisp makes everything easy-mode with all the utilities her motes gives and her breach surge is so strong. hildryn makes me feel strong and i love her, plus it was neat to mod for shields instead of energy. oberon got me through the starchart as a new player (he's still technically my most played on my warframe profile) and i loved his paladin/nature aesthetic

edit: im an idiot and don't get asks often so i forgot to respond to the rest of what you said, sorry! i love all your warframes! volt is so good. i played through duviri with him and his shields made the defense and extractor missions so easy. octavia is so good and i love her design a lot so i wish i played her more! maybe use rolling guard if you have it for increased survivability if her invis isn't working well enough? also rhino's just all around great tbh

I’m mostly being sarcastic but tbh I can’t see a whole bunch of things I’d describe Link as that aren’t so generic even a dating profile would be more in-depth.

I liked Amelink well enough (their beginning was PHENOMENAL and so sweet and I thought they had all the potential to be The It couple) (althought I do gotta add I shipped them fort he same reason I shipped Merlink quite strongly: He’s A Good Man who’d bring some sparkle and light into the life of one of my “dark and twisty” faves) and if they’d stayed making each other happy, I’d have been pleased for them to stay together, and I did think we were gearing up for them as endgame. I loved that both their personalities were explicitly shaped by childhood trauma but in such distinct ways, I love that it gave Amy experience and… Wisened her? While it gave Link a will to fight, a. surety in the possibility of regrowth. I mean, even their specialties reflect that? The rigid, precise control you gotta have with Neuro vs how ortho is so intrinsically tied with self-regeneration and movement. However, the writers apparently took Link from “sunshine golden retriever sweetheart” (which was shallow but consistent) to “single-minded entitled man-child” in one fell swoop and left very little for me to cheer for, and although they seem to have fixed that, it just isn’t the way to repair them as a couple.

I have empathy for his position, honestly, I see where he’s coming from in a lot of their conflicts (Like, I had a “?” face throughout the whole time Amelia was villanizing him for… not wanting to potentially raise someone else’s child?, I get that he wanted to marry Amy and was in love with her and that from his perspective (at least initially) her refusal must have stung and confused him), I understand what he was trying to get at with regards to him drinking during covid/quarentine even if he was not expressing it in a kind way) so it’s less that I think he’s necessarily bad for her and more that they’d have to eternally be fighting off resentment of each other.

Plus, while if I was, for examplec writting fic before Kai showed up and stole mine and Amelia’s hearts, I’d have put them together and ignored their breakdown, I really do love Kaimelia and see potential in Jolink and in letting Link branch. out as his own character more.

You know that TS song that goes “he was sunshine I was midnight rain”? I think that fits them very well. Beautiful aesthetics, can be made to work well together within a narrative but ultimately weren’t.

What do you love about Prince Olympius from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue? (I ask out of curiosity since you mentioned on here on your Tumblr that you find him hot and always thought he had a pretty face; I’m not saying this to be mean though, again, I’m just asking out of curiosity) 😈🐲❤️🔥😍🥰😘❤️‍🔥

Oh my God, that's a really nice question and a really long post.

So, first of all, I think he's hot and has a pretty face. He has a nice physique and his fins are really beautiful. And some nice green eyes actually. They're so beautiful to look at. I love those thunderbolts he has on his face. They give him the punk rock-ish look and he looks like he's wearing eyeliner for some reason but honestly, I don't give a shit cuz I love it.

He looks really hot here *nosebleed* (There is a reason why this image of him is my Twitter profile picture)

Anyway, he's entertaining and really fascinating as a character once you pay attention to him. I mean, think about it. Why is he so pissed at Diabolico for example? Is it because he tried to kill him when he was an infant or because he was threatened by his power? (I think the former is true and tbh, it makes sense. Of course you would be mad at someone trying to kill you because they felt threatened by your power despite the fact that you haven't done anything to them. He's probably traumatised by that. And honestly, can you blame him tho?) Another thing is the facial expressions he makes. They kind of contrast Vypra. As if Vypra trying to act like a human, it fails miserably but he doesn't have to try to act like a human, because well, he naturally acts like a human, despite being a demon. They really add up to his character. I also feel sorry for him because his life is crap if you think about it (no one respects him, he was forced to grow up and got aged up, his mom is abusive towards him, Diabolico tried to kill him etc.) I view him as an unintentionally sympathetic and unintentionally tragic.

Another thing I love is his voice. I love the metallic tone of his voice. It reminds me of G1 Soundwave for some reason. But in Trakeena's Revenge, it was very aesthetically pleasing too.

In conclusion, I love him. (I will make a long ass post about him and him alone, analysis and whatnot)

Of course! You guys know the drill, feel free to add on. For concision, I'll use the abbreviation SO for signifigant other. I started using ‘you’ but it read kind of like a weird Y/N fanfic and that wasn’t quite the vibe I was looking for lmao. I went up to XY since I’m most familiar up until then!

Ash: doesn't really believe in structured dates. He'd rather just spend time with someone doing whatever! Doesn't matter what.

Gary: bonfire. I think he’d really like a more quiet moment with someone he cares about, with the fire flickering and ambient. Sure, he’s loud and sure of himself but I think he’d value time spent like that. But he probably brought an acoustic guitar. Hope you like wonderwall.

Misty: fishing! She would totally have met someone on tinder with her dudebro-holding-a-fish-esque profile picture. Which, note to self, art idea? Does anyone want to see that? Has it already been done?

Brock: dine and down UM probably the standard nice evening dinner full of terrible pickup lines.

Tracey: one of those diy pottery painting classes! He would wash his date’s brushes for them and empty their paint water :) Mostly because he brought coffee and doesn’t want to mix the coffee cup and paint water cup (again).

May: probably something travel or outdoor-related. Probably taking the afternoon to go biking to a scenic view and then watch the sunset with a picnic (full of really good food, of course. We’re talking thermoses with hot ramen and a basket with bread and cold drinks and stuff, not those nature valley bars. She’d probably find a way to pack a full charcuterie board).

Drew: flowerboy here would probably show up to SO’s door with roses (duh.) and drive them to a botanical garden with a nice cafe or something. For someone who in canon dislikes being percieved as the romantic one who gives roses, he is probably the textbook definition of ‘gives a good date’.

Harley: A date to 7-11 but specifically on July 11th so he and SO can get free slurpies.

Dawn: Probably something seasonal- pumpkin picking, christmas light driving, or something like that. I feel like she likes the aesthetic kinda side of dating, and wants to ORGANIZE and THEME her dates like pinterest boards.

Conway: vintage tech store. He seems like a vintage tech kinda guy, someone who would show SO how record players and phonographs and old game systems work.

Paul: going to the DMV to renew his driver’s liscense or something? He’s Paul, who knows?

Iris: Rock climbing! She thinks that overcoming simething difficult, like the highest rock wall, is a great trust builder and she also just really needs to move around and can't stand the idea of a sitting-down date.

Cilan: wine tasting or something else connoiseur-y. Hope you like wine and cheese and crackers (but who doesn’t, honestly? Cheese and crackers, at least. I don’t drink but communion wine slaps tbh).

Serena: baking cookies! pretty simple and sweet. She and Drew have romance down to a science. The difference is, Serena knows and loves this about herself. She may not be perfect but she KNOWS she hosts a damn good date.

Clemont: Bowling but he really, really sucks at it. Like, pathetically so. It’s endearing, if nothing else. He almost broke his foot with the bowling ball.

4. I'm a Gemini! 5. For bleach I dont mind villains or the protagonists though I only really like aizen gin and grimmjow for the bleach villains. For one piece only protagonist please ! And no marines (exept coby, i don't mind him) also beware i've only seen like the first 365 episodes and the only characters i know of is law and sabo. 6. For psysical traits I tend to find those who are tall, with dark or brown hair attractive. I don't mind muscle as I find that attractive as long as it isn't too muscly (like where they look abnormally huge, it's just a turn away for me.) 7. For personality type I tend to find those who are serious, quiet, cold, goofy and adorable attractive. 8. Jimin shoves off the straps to his backpack and lets the heavy piece of shit fall to the ground before taking his seat next to Taehyung at the library. He lets out a hefty sigh, lowering his head onto his arms that rested on the table.

"Dude, we're only a few weeks into school. How are you so tired already?" Taehyung doodles in his notebook.

"Shut up." Jimin groans, grabbing a hold of a crumpled piece of paper and tossing it at his head. "The question is, why are you always this excited? Your eyes are about to pop out of its sockets, weirdo."

"This cute girl said hi to me on the way to class." Taehyung wiggled his eyebrows and did his smug little smirk, making Jimin cringe and look at him with a disgusted expression.

"Yuck, why would she do that?"

"Hey! Take it back or I'm never giving your Pokemon Sword Edition back." Jimin's eyes widen.

"Don't ever."

"Hmph." Tae happily smiles and wiggles in his chair as Jimin accepts defeat.

"Screw you! If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have been able to experience it!"

"Right, anyways. It's senior year. Maybe things can be different, Jiminie." Tae gently nudges his side. "What if I end up finding my own peanut?"

"Would be quite nice."

"Should probably try out that app."

"Huh?" Jimin cocks an eyebrow.

"The dating app, haven't you heard?"

"No? There's apps for that? I don't quite necessarily find myself pondering on these so-called dating apps during my free time."

"It's called Coffee."

"Huh, interesting. Why, though?"

"The goal is to get someone to go out with you. Like for coffee or something, duh. Dummy."

"Give me back my game." Jimin smacks him upside the head, a small 'ow' from Taehyung following shortly after.

"Are you guys talking about the dating app?" Hoseok sits his bag on the floor before taking the seat in front of Taehyung.

"Mmmmmhm." Tae responds, continuing to doodle.

"How do you know about it?" Jimin looks at him.

"How do you not?" Hoseok looks back at him. "It's the talk on campus."

"So like.. what? You see pictures of girls and message them?"

"Yeah, it shares profiles of pretty ladies nearby. You have to swipe right if you like them, but you can't message them unless they swipe right on you too. It's called—" Taehyung draws a rainbow in the air with his hand. "A match."

"Huh." Jimin repeats, still slightly confused about the concept. And so he does a small head tilt before reaching over to grab his Epidemiology and Statistics book and flipping it open. "What ever happened to approaching someone and telling them you like them. You know, like back in the day?"

"Times have changed. It's more fun this way I suppose." Hoseok cutely smiles.

"Okay, the only fun we know well is yelling at each other during video and board games." Jimin lets out a sigh with a tiny pout. "As a matter a fact, I miss you guys talking about mobile games instead."

"Touché. I haven't been playing anything new, though. My stats are dead." Hoseok nods. "But the app sounds enticing, right? I'm curious."

"Same, dude. Should we just do it?" Tae directs his question towards Hoseok.

"I need to find a good picture of myself."

"Oh right—"

"Ah, come on guys. Really? I just feel like we shouldn't meddle." Jimin nervously responds. He was coming from a good place though, one where he knows very well that they'd get their hearts broken easily from a stupid app. Or maybe, he was projecting his own fear onto his friends. He knew they'd try and egg him on to try this app, and he'd give in. Then, he'd find someone he was interested in getting to know— only to be rejected.

Fucking ouch.

Just the thought sucks. Jimin knows him and his friends still aren't the most sought out boys on campus, even after everything they've been through during their junior year. Things eventually settle, the waters eventually become calm, the leaves finally fall— they're back to square one at this point.

They're just.. the same boys they were when they first started, with a few more appearances at parties and club events alongside their beloved peanut.

Oh well, Jimin doesn't mind it either way. But, since Jungkook and peanut have been going strong, Hoseok and Taehyung had become even more determined to be the next boys in line for someone's heart. Quite frankly, it'd be nice for Jimin, too. He wasn't lying when he had told Taehyung that minutes ago. But Jimin is afraid. He's afraid of feeling hurt, he's afraid of not being good enough, he's afraid of his innocence and virginity being the center of attention in a relationship.

He's afraid, and he just can't see anyone wanting to deal with that at this point in time.

Jungkook was lucky to have crossed paths with peanut— because although she had been the most popular girl on campus, she was patient, she was kind, she was incredibly caring. Sure, Jimin does play the devil's advocate a lot and he still has some hope in humanity, but he thinks finding another with the same attributes is super rare. He needs someone who would be patient with him, someone who would teach him the ways and not be upset when he does something 'wrong' in a relationship. Someone who wouldn't care that he didn't necessarily have a past, someone who won't mind reassuring him that he is enough. Someone who wouldn't lie, someone who he felt safe with and could easily trust.

It seems like a lot to ask for, so Jimin doesn't want to ask at all.

Let alone does he want to see his friends get hurt.

"Look, if no one wants to swipe right on us, it's fine. At least we can say we tried it." Tae responds, typing away on his phone. Jimin peers over his shoulder, only to see him making an account for this so-called dating app and entering all his personal information. Tae's mouth slightly hangs open as he focuses on the task at hand [as if it was something that required all of his effort for the day]. "See, it's not so bad so far."

"You're only making your account, mouth breather." Jimin fires back, making Taehyung give him a look.

"At least I'm making it, dipshit." Hoseok giggles.

"Come on, Jiminie. Join us."

"No."

"Why not? What do you have to lose?"

"What does Jimin have to lose where?" Jungkook asks sleepily, gently letting his bag fall to the floor as he sits next to Hoseok. Great, Jimin thinks. Jungkook to the rescue.

"Kookie." Taehyung says in a cute voice. "Why do you look like that? Why do you both look so tired already? The year just started."

"Ugh, it's not even school-related. I spent hours trying to teach peanut how to play the Miles Morales Spiderman game last night. She wouldn't stop swinging and crashing into cars or buildings. And then, every time a villain came up, she'd use the same attack move! She had so many upgrades she could do for her web attacks."

"All you heard last night was 'no, no, no! swing left, swing left! slow down!' or 'use the combo!' it's right there, showing which buttons to press! right— in— front!'" Jimin mocks him, making the table laugh loudly.

"And the best part— 'okay, okay, you're done. you're done.'" Hobi adds, reenacting Jungkook's tone when he apparently took the controller away from peanut.

"She was so, so cute, don't get me wrong. But I couldn't do it anymore." The table chuckles together once more before it dies down for a bit. Jimin peeks over at Taehyung going through his photos for the dating app, swiping to see which ones would be an acceptable picture.

"Which picture should I use? I need an acceptable dating app photo."

"What the hell does an 'acceptable dating app photo' even mean?"

"You know, something hot. Something all the girls will swoon over." Taehyung wiggles his eyebrows. "Like this—"

"I'm not entirely sure that's even acceptable to put on Instagram." Hoseok makes a face at his recent pictures that highlighted the fact that he had his natural hair color back, all while Tae furrowed his brows.

"You're unaware of what good art is, I suppose. Excuse you." Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"Oh, is that what you guys were talking about when I came? Jimin hopping onto the app?" Jungkook adds as he pulls out his laptop.

"Jimin is not hopping onto the app, thank you very much." Jimin responds for himself.

"I repeat— what do you have to lose?" Hoseok adds, now also plotting on the perfect profile picture.

"I'm gonna be honest, I don't wanna get my feelings hurt." Jimin gives off a nervous chuckle. "I feel like I'd get too dependent on the app, especially for reassurance and stuff like that."

"He has a point, you know?" Taehyung puts up his pointer finger as if to shush Jungkook.

"You get no say in this because you have a girlfriend." He says, with the most serious face ever. Jimin laughs at him before shaking his head and flipping the pages to his notebook.

"But yeah, I think I'll pass. Let me know how it goes."

"I still think you should just see it for like, a week or something though." Hoseok adds.

"He also has a point." Jungkook adds, disregarding Taehyung's previous comment.

"What did I just say, dude?"

"Fuck off, alright? If anything, you should get no say in what photos to use since you're plotting on using your weird instagram ones." Jungkook fires back.

"Where is the point in Hoseok's statement, Jeon Jungkook?" Jimin flips the switch and asks.

"Just try it out for a day or seven. You aren't signing a contract."

"It almost feels like I am?!"

"Think about it, Jiminie." Taehyung adds.

"I'm not listening to any of you guys."

"Well, I'm pretty sure peanut will say the same thing."

"Well, I'll hear it from her myself."

"Cool, she's coming in a couple of minutes." Jimin sighs. Suddenly, the library gets a little louder as the senior basketball boys and basketball girls walk in. It's a trip to the boys, especially to Jimin and Jungkook— seeing that their class were now the seniors walking around campus, and Seokjin and his boys weren't the ones causing chaos everywhere they went.

Actually, moreso Seokjin than anyone else.

But that stays in the past, things are well and everyone has moved on.

Jimin actually enjoys his senior class. He hasn't really had issues with anyone, no one topping the asshole rank like Seokjin did. Everyone was nice in their own way, even if it meant ignoring Jimin and his friends and not bullying them the way other senior classes have. It felt nice, felt peaceful for once.

At least, for now.

"Dude, shut the fuck up." Wooyoung says loudly, with that high-pitch laugh of his ringing through the loud section of the library. "Y/N, baby. Tell him that's not how it actually went."

"I wasn't even there, how am I supposed to back you up?"

"You're the only one who understands me." Wooyoung pouts playfully, throwing his arm around your shoulder and letting his hand hang loosely.

"Yeah, well. Not with this one." Jimin looks up and catches eye contact with you, giving you a small smile as you walk past. He's familiar with you, mainly because of your status as an athlete on campus and through sharing a class or two with you in the past. You were intimidating to him, though. Greatly intimidating. You and your entire team were. It could be the resting bitch face you unintentionally sported, or the fact that you were never afraid to speak up about an unpopular opinion in class and carried a tough persona. Jimin never really goes to basketball games, but he's certain you'd be just as scary on the court— maybe scarier. He'd simply greet you and keep his head hung low because he didn't want to cause any issues or be annoying. He kept his interactions with you to a minimum, and you had wished he didn't.

"Hello Y/N." Taehyung chimes in, knowing you through the Advanced Writing and Research class you both shared.

"Hey." You say softly, causing the rest of the boys to look up at you briefly before returning to the work in front of them.

"Suuup." Wooyoung adds his greeting for Tae and the other three before laughing along with the rest of the ball boys walking in with you two. You give Jimin one last look, but he doesn't spare you another glance. At this point, Wooyoung is tugging you along to the usual table your group occupies, sitting you down next to him as you settle to get started on some homework before participating in open court later tonight to run a few games with the boys.

"She's cool. Must be hard to balance sports and schoolwork."

"I bet." Hoseok adds. "I barely can balance school work and finding new horror games to play on the PC."

"She's quite intimidating." Jimin adds.

"Why? She's nice to me in class."

"I never said she was mean, Kim Taehyung." Jimin looks at him. "She just seems tough. Someone who wouldn't back down in a fight, you know? We're like polar opposites."

"Imagine she swipes right on you, then what?" Jimin shrugs.

"I don't know. She's pretty, but I don't think she would ever do that."

"Oh come on, Jimin." Tae clicks his teeth. "Just picture it for a second, will you? Would you go for her?"

"Maybe? Again, I feel like we're opposites. We might not click well. Or, to put it quite plainly— she won't have the patience for me."

"You never know. Maybe she has a thing for nerds cause she's got an inner nerd herself. That's why you should get on the app."

"Wow, you douchebag. You totally egged me on just to try and sell the app?" Jimin pinches his arm, causing Taehyung to yelp an 'ow' once again. "Besides, a thing for nerds? Yeah, cause Jung Wooyoung is definitely a nerd." Jimin rolls his eyes and continues his homework.

"I don't even think they're dating like that."

"They go everywhere together, how could they not be?"

"I think they are just close." Jungkook adds his two cents. "I'm pretty sure I heard someone saying they matched with Wooyoung on my way to class."

"Okay, I'm tired of talking about this app." Jimin turns to Hoseok. "Have you found any new horror games we can play?"

"I did my research on a few indie games, even came across some free demos. So far I kinda wanna play Anemoiapolis, The Broken Veil, Stray Souls, Backrooms. They all seem creepy enough. I can share what I found later when we get home."

"Question is, would you actually play?"

"Mind your business, Kookie. I can do my research and not play. However, I will." Hoseok sassily brushes Jungkook off, knowing he's probably the biggest coward of them all.

"I heard about The Broken Veil. I wanna test it out. Maybe we can hop on later tonight." Jimin adds, finally being able to focus on the rest of the homework in front of him while the table quiets down.

Later that night, Taehyung welcomes himself to the apartment while Jungkook gathers a few things to spend the night at peanut's. Hoseok situates himself at his computer, with Jimin and Taehyung pulling chairs beside him to go over his list of horror games he had wanted to look at. But Jimin isn't gonna lie, after peanut had showed up and gave her two cents about the app— he hadn't been able to stop thinking about it. Of course, it didn't help that his friends were adamant about getting him on the app even for a couple of days.

Should he just do this shit to see what's good?

"Hello?" Hoseok turns to him.

"What?"

"Dude I asked if you were ready to watch Hollow's gameplay video on this?"

"He's thinking about the app." Taehyung smirks, making Jimin cringe.

"Shut up, I was not."

"Hey, we already told you how we felt about it. It'll be good."

"Oh yeah? And how's it going so far?" Jimin fired back as Hoseok quietly sat in the middle of his bickering friends, pursing his lips together in a tight-lipped smile with his dimples starting to poke through.

"It's.. fine. That's besides the point, Jiminie."

"No, it's not. How's it actually going, hm? How many people have you 'matched' with?" Jimin puts up air quotes.

"It's none of your business." Taehyung says close to a whisper, trying to respond in a sassy manner.

"It's none of my business because you have no business to share!"

"Oh, fuck off! It's only been a couple of hours since we signed up!"

"A couple of hours is a lot, okay?"

"You don't even exist on the app so you can't say anything!"

"Maybe it's better that I don't!" It's quiet between the two, even as they continue to stare each other down. Hoseok lets out a breath and places his hand back onto his mouse to navigate the pointer to the play button.

"So, can I press play now?" Hoseok looks at the two of them. "Because I'd really like to get his opinion before I spend a whopping 2 dollars on Steam for this game."

"Yeah, go for it champ." Taehyung finally calms down and adjusts his position in his seat. As Hoseok presses play, he leans over once more just to give Jimin a final message: "By the way, when someone finally swipes right on me, I swear on Kratos' supremacy that I will rub that shit in your face until the very end." He whispers, causing Jimin to flip him off.

"Kratos isn't real, okay? And that's fine, cause I'll probably die first before that even happens." Jimin whispers back.

"The game is starting. For the love of God— shut up." Hoseok whispers in between the both of them. It finally settles and the three are able to watch the gameplay in peace, minus the screams and jolts due to sudden jump scares.

After a few hours, with the clock hitting close to midnight, they finally help Hoseok finalize a list of games they'll purchase and play together. Jimin gets ready for bed, turns off his room lights and lays under the sheets staring at his ceiling. He should be tired, but he's not. He scrolls through his phone, going through his Instagram explore tab and finding more gameplay videos to add to his 'Watch Later' list.

And then he thinks about the Coffee app, yet again.

"Goddamit." He groans to himself as he navigates to the app store on his phone. He takes a minute or two to peek at the reviews, eyes full of curiosity when it's actually rated 4.5/5 stars on the store, followed by all the written reviews.

"Ew?" Jimin furrows his brows at the last review he was able to glaze over. "My god, people are really like this?" He mutters to himself. His thumb hovers over the 'GET' button next to the app's icon. He lets out a breath, pondering on this sudden urge just to get the fuck onto the app and see what it's about.

So, he does it. He presses the button, figures he could delete it if he really didn't find anything beneficial from it.

Why not?

It's his senior year, this is called growth [in a way, I suppose]. Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone.

"Shit, shit, shit." He whispers to himself and whines a bit, watching the app finally download. He presses the icon and watches it come to life in front of his eyes.

Here goes nothing.

YOU PLACED YOUR GAME PIECE IN A DIFFERENT SPOT. Chewing at your lower lip trying to stay focused on the game in front of you. You watched countless videos on how to play Shoko and still was getting your ass kicked by the eldest man. He wasn’t even fully paying attention to the game, a pair of chopsticks in one hand and a book in another. Occasionally he would peek over it to see if you had moved your game piece yet.

“The detectives still haven’t pieced together what happened?” He questioned as he moved his game piece after you.

“Nope, they said it was a drug overdose…but she could have survived it.” You explained to him the same thing Geto told you. “However, it was a hit to her head that ended her life.” You soon add. “But you know how lazy some cops are. They’ll chalk it up as her hitting her head on something.“ Your eyes stared at the game pieces in front of you.

“And update on you being number one ranking?” Jin asked. His eyes peeked up at you through his glasses just to watch you shuffle around in your seat.

“I’m not at number one,” You huffed. “I don’t care to run your company if I’m being honest with you,” You admitted as you looked at him.

You couldn’t read Jin similar to how you could with Jules. He only moved his game piece and went back to eating the food you had brought for him. “Fair point, my company has a lot of baggage. I don’t blame you for not wanting to take over.” He answered.

“But I would want anybody but my daughter running my company.” He sighed. “So, what are the options? I’ll try my best to see what I can do to make it happen.”

Your eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. “If you have the power to do that, then why are you just rotting away in here?”

“Because my daughter always crawls back to me when she’s in need, similar to what she did months ago,” He explained. “Now what are the options to the contender who’ll be running my company?” He asked again.

You let out a sigh as you were digging through your tote bag to pull out your iPad. You logged into your CamPop account. You would go to the ranking tab on the website while the older man was pushing the board game to the side. You placed the iPad in front of him and soon, clicked on the first profile.

“Sitting at Number 1 is SuguruSuga,” Your teeth grazed at your lower lip as you watched Jin go through Geto’s profile. “This is your partner correct? Jules's obsession?” He questioned.

You would only nod while you leaned back into your seat. “Yes, but I think he’ll make a good contender for the company.” You found yourself explaining.

Jin’s eyebrows raised at your comment. “Are you saying this because you’re dating him?” He asked. “Jules finds out he’s running the company, she may kill the guy and probably me,” he joked as he ate more of the food.

“But, well at number three SatoruG.” You changed to Gojo’s profile.

“Too cocky, plus I know his parents.” Jin bluntly admitted. “Next option.”

You clicked off Gojo’s profile to click on Choso’s profile. Your eyes looked up at Jin who leaned forward to look at the screen. He didn’t say much and only shook his head. “Jules mentioned him to me also. It’s a no for me,” He sighs.

“You’re being so picky considering that the clock is ticking. You said that whoever is at number one by the end of the month will be the owner. Which means if either one of them is number one, you can’t argue against it.” You argued.

Jin would look at you. His chopsticks pick up pieces from the side dishes you brought him. “You sure, you don’t want to run my company? You’ll be the perfect contender.” He said, completely disregarding what you had just said.

“You’re such a pain in my ass, like your daughter,” You sighed as you grabbed your iPad and let it drop back into your tote bag. You pushed the game board back in front of the two of you.

“Hypothetically speaking, if the SuguruSuga guy is at number one at the end of the month. Do you think he’ll want to run the company?” Jin asked as he moved his game piece.

“I don’t know, probably. He’s a good guy, I think he’ll be a good person to run your company.” You found yourself explaining. “He’s just different. He’s kind, down to earth..” Your voice trailed off while your lips curled into a small smile.

Jin would lean over and move his game piece. His lips parted to comment, but he would only give you a pleasant hum. “Well, from the way my daughter used to brag about him…I used to have my thoughts about the guy.” He adds. “But I would rather take your opinion seriously than my own daughter’s,” He sighed as he watched you move the piece.

When you moved the game piece, you noticed he didn’t do anything. You glanced up at him from the game pieces, “It’s your turn, old man.” You sighed.

“You already won,” He said as he pushed the game aside. Jin watched as your face lit in excitement.

“Yes! I stayed up all night watching videos about this damn game,” You smiled.

Jin sipped at his green tea as he let a chuckle tumble out his mouth. Your lips parted to speak, but your body completely froze when you heard the familiar voice. You watched as Jin’s body language completely changed. His hand gripped at the porcelain teacup and his eyes instantly darkened. You knew only one person could spark that reaction out of him.

Jules.

“Of course. I should have known when Choso was questioning about my father that this was what he had planned.” Jules huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest.

She had two men with her. You assumed they were her bodyguards, but one of the guys you do remember was at the meeting when you had to sign your contract. Perhaps that was the lawyer Jin mentioned when the two of you had met.

“Why are you here?” Jin asked. “You never come to visit unless you’re in trouble and considering the circumstances, I’m assuming you’re just that. You’re backed into a corner because of your reckless actions.” He sighed as he placed his tea down.

“Jin, you’re coming with us. Consider yourself now capable of running your company again, get him.” She would twirl around in her red bottoms going towards the entrance. But she stopped in her tracks to look at you, “You’re coming too since you want to be his fuckin’ nursing aid so much.”

You felt someone grab your forearm causing you to yank your arm away. “I can walk on my own.” You spat rudely as you followed them outside the nursing home.

You watched as Jules' driver opened the door to the car and you would just stand there. “I can drive myself.”

Jules rolled her eyes and let out an annoyed sigh. “You think I’m really stupid enough to do that, Vince goes with her. The old man is with me,” She waved her hand away as she got into the car.

You watched as her bodyguard pushed Jin into the car roughly. You walked to your car, eyeing Vince suspiciously before climbing into your car. You slowly buckled your seat belt and looked at Vince. “I’m assuming we’re going to this meeting,” You sighed as you glanced at him.

He couldn’t have been much older than you. His looks were even more intimidating due to the sharp scar on his cheek and his auburn-colored eyes. He didn’t say anything, so you just started following behind the car Jin was in. You kept wondering if he knew anything about Ayaki’s death. He had to, he seemed close with Jules. He always was by her side during the weekly press conference videos they sent to CamPop workers' emails. She even would post him on her social media pages occasionally.

While you were driving, you took notice of how Vince’s left thigh shook. He bounced it uncontrollably as if he was trying to keep his composure. He kept chewing at his lower lip and never actually glanced in your direction.

“Is everything okay?” You asked as you stopped the car behind the limo that Jules was in. A red light halting the both of you to your next destination.

“I’m sorry, just a huge fan of your…uh work,” Vince admitted as he looked outside the window.

Your lips formed a straight line as you started driving once again. But then, a little lightbulb went off in your head. “Really? So you’ve seen some of my work?” You questioned as you started driving again.

“Uhh yeah, it reminds me of someone.” Vince's words came out like a coherent stutter. He toyed with the ends of his perfectly tailored suit jacket.

“Someone?” You asked. “Someone like Ayaki?”

Vince grew quiet but he only nodded his head.

“You know what happened to her?” You asked.

Silence overcame the two before Vince found himself talking. “I wanted Jules to take her to the hospital. I did, but she threatened to make it my fault if I did take her to the hospital.”

“You need to tell the cops this,” You said as she made a turn into the parking lot.

“And go to jail? No fuckin’ way,” Vince said. “So I advise you to keep your mouth shut or else.”

“Or else what? You and Jules love threatening people, but deep down I know people like you two.” You put your car in park. “You think using your power will get you out of this, but it’s not. She’s going to throw you under the bus and I can’t wait to laugh when it happens. Surprised she hasn’t done it yet.” You said you looked Vince in his face with a dead expression. “So this raises my question, what does she have on you for you to be so loyal to her?”

You went to get out of the car, but Vince grabbed a hold of your arm tugging you back. He noticed that hard stern look you gave him and removed your grip from your wrist. “Before I met Jules, I was in debt with some bad people. She helped me out.” Vince sighed.

You found yourself rolling your eyes, “She paid off your debt and you’re not in debt with her.” You said. “But someone’s daughter is dead because of her and you’re protecting her. There’s nothing that would make me feel some form of pity for you. Just continue to be her lap dog.” You harshly spat. “That guilt is going to eat you alive and you know whose not going to care? Her.” You motioned to Jules who was exiting her private car.

When you finally got out of the car, you approached Jin. “You okay?” You asked.

“Yes, just wondering what my lovely daughter has under her sleeve.” Jin sarcastically admitted.

“I have something important to tell my…our employees. I think everyone should be here for my huge news and some things I have to tell everyone.” Jules says as she linked arms with her father who slowly removed her arm in annoyance.

“Last time I checked, I’m too much of a fuckin’ idiot to understand anything about my company.” He spat rudely as he walked ahead in the building that most likely had many CamPop workers that resided in.

You followed behind him to catch up with him. “What do you think she has up her sleeve?” You questioned.

“Most likely stepping down. It’s too much pressure to be the CEO of a company where one of your employees is dead. She can’t handle it, she’s going to crack pretty soon.” Jin said as he looked over at you.

“I talked to the Vince guy, he confirmed that he suggested they take Ayaki to the hospital but Jules threatened him.” You explained. “I said something quite harsh to let sit in his mind though.” You shrugged. “Ayaki didn’t deserve what happened to her.” You pushed open the door to the large auditorium.

“You two will sit in the front where I can see you,” Jules confirmed as she motioned to the clear front row.

“We’re not children, so I’m going to sit where I want to.” You rolled your eyes as you glanced around the auditorium searching for Geto. When you saw him, Gojo, and Nanami, you quickly moved over to them before Jules could protest.

You took the empty seat next to Nanami due to a blonde-haired woman sitting next to Geto. The two of them seem to be whispering among each other. Geto didn’t notice that you were sitting in the same row as him until Jules's voice echoed within the room.

“Good Evening everyone, I’m so glad each one of you took time out of your busy schedules to come to this important meeting,” Jules said in the microphone.

It was so quiet in the auditorium that you could hear a pen drop and Gojo’s loud snicker at what Jules said.

“Anyway, I want to make this announcement quick so we all can go back with our lives.” She added.

You noticed that Jules spoke with so much confidence. Her head held up and a charming smile on her face. No one wouldn’t know how cruel she was unless you were close with her.

You felt someone nudge your shoulder and when she looked over, Geto took the sit that Nanami formally was in. “Why were you arriving with Jules? I thought you said you were going to visit her dad?” He questioned.

“That’s where I was at until she came to get him. He’s sitting in the front,” You motioned to Jin lazily listening to his daughter's speech.

“He doesn’t look sick or anything, can’t believe she just threw him in a retirement home.” Geto sighed. “Actually, I can believe she would do that.”

“Yeah, she doesn’t particularly shock me anymore.” You said.

“We need to talk about something though,” Geto said.

“About what?”

“We never discussed collaborating outside of our relationship. From my knowledge, many couples that are in the sex work industry do venture out and work with our people other than their partner.” Geto explained.

Your eyebrows furrowed together in confusion, “Are you trying to say you want to collab with other people outside of me?”

“What? No!” Geto exclaimed. “It wasn’t even me she wanted. She wanted to collaborate with you,” He explained. “I just wanted to come to you before she approached you about it, so you wouldn’t be caught off guard.” He adds.

“I don’t think it’s a good time for that right now considering the circumstances of the ranking thing. Hypothetically speaking, say I collab with her and she gets pushed to number 1 when the month ends. What the hell are we going to do?” You asked.

“You think that’s possible?” Geto backfired. “Let’s be real, I’ve been stuck at number 1 for days.”

“That only because your identity has been exposed. Is that the girl sitting next to Gojo?” You said.

“Yes.” Geto sighed.

“She’s pretty,” You complimented. “Blonde and nice body. The perfect moment she could be pushed to number 1. You know it didn’t take me long to do the same when I first moved here.” Your eyes looked at Jules who seem to be searching in the crowd for someone. You noticed that her eyes landed specifically on the row that you were sitting in. Expecting for Jules’s eyes to linger on her favorite obsession Geto, but it didn’t. Out of curiosity, your eyes followed Jules’s gaze and it landed on the one girl who wanted to collaborate with you.

“Plus, could we even trust her.” You said to Geto before you pushed yourself out of your seat to move to the front row.

You had to learn more about that woman. You have been on CamPop for months now and had mainly gotten collaborative offers by sleazy men CamPop workers, never a woman. Plus, you felt like she just appeared out of thin air. You took the seat next to Jin who was on his cellphone not bothering to listen to his daughter.

“Moving on, you guys know the circumstances of where the company is at in the media. I am urging all of you to not make a comment about the situation or there will be consequences. As in your account will be terminated immediately.” Jules explained.

You could hear Jin kiss at his teeth at the comment.

“Lastly, I will be stepping down from my position for a while,” Jules admitted.

The number of gasps you’ve heard in the room cause you to sit up in your seat. Your eyes instantly met Jin considering the plan the two of you were discussing earlier. “Stepping down? You’ve told everyone in this room that I was incapable of running my company and now you want me to clean up your mess?” Jin questioned.

Whispers and murmurs lingered in the room as Jules let out a bitter laugh. “Who said I was stepping down for you to run it? I just want to see the look on your face as I assign a temporary person while I’ll be gone.” She shrugs. “Yuki, come on down sweetie.”

“If you guys don’t know. Yuki does cam work on the side alongside. She's also been my advisor through these long years of running this company." Jules admitted as she watched Yuki walk down on the stage.

“Wouldn’t this make it easier for the whole ranking situation?” You whispered to Jin.

“It should, considering that evidence I have against her for falsifying documents about my health. She won’t know what hits her when she returns and it’s not even her company anymore.” Jin explained. “But this Yuki girl, she used to be the advisor for my competition. She’s young but just as lethal as Jules.” He sighed as he stared as the two women embraced each other.

Your lips parted to speak, but the door to the auditorium everyone was sitting in. In walked many detectives, one of them being the detective Geto had been speaking with.

“Jules Choi, you’re under arrest for the murder of Ayaki Takahashi.”
