He's still mostly dressed, which is almost more tantalising than seeing him naked; there's something about the way the fabric drapes over his skin that makes you want to eat him alive. He's taken to burying his face in the bedsheets to hide as you work at him, a palm spread wide over his stomach to feel his stomach rise and fall. Even this contact sends his blood catching alight, his spine arching into your touch as your thumb strokes at the skin. Laving your care into pale flesh, one gentle swipe at a time.

You set another hand gently on the jut of his hip, push him back down to the bed. "You okay?"

Xiao presses his lips together, half mortified at his own lack of control and half blissed out beyond caring. Nobody has ever touched him like this, with so much care, so much love—it feels foreign, bubbling up hot and carbonated inside him like it insists upon itself. Xiao whines at the suggestion of tension against his scalp; you pull nowhere near enough to hurt, but the in-between is maddening. It's like anticipation, like holding a loaded crossbow waiting for the bolt to loose. It feels like you should hurt him. Like you should want to. But you don't, and before long your fingers leave his hair to trace patterns on the nape of his neck, and Xiao shudders, burying his head into the pillow.

"You're okay, sweet boy," you murmur, and Xiao wants to argue that he's not a boy, he's so far from it, and sweet sounds like a joke when it tries to stick to someone like him. Karmic debt oozes from his pores, gritty and dark and acidic, surely infecting even your lovely hands, and Xiao readies his voice to say all this but then you run a finger hard down his spine and he stifles a whiny noise into the sheets instead.

He's aware, vaguely, that he's panting, that he's never felt this alive in this way in all his life, that what started as uncertain jerks of his hips to relieve some of the weird tension building hot in his low stomach has turned into a steady, rhythmic movement. His hips roll against the mattress, ignited by your careful touch, your fingers that dance on the precipice between pleasure and pain. It's too much, it's not enough, and Xiao stifles another cry into the mattress, mortified.

You stop quite suddenly, and Xiao makes another pathetic noise before realising where your hands have paused. The window in the back of his shirt that ripples over the skin of his spine, baring the flesh for the world. His heart flies into his throat; he usually keeps a glamour up, nothing especially powerful, just enough to heal his skin and keep people from seeing—

Your fingers trace a scar, and Xiao feels the prickling of tears at his eyes. Seeing that.

"Xiao," you whisper, and try as he might he is unable to read your tone. He's rooted to the spot, unable to move a muscle, and the fiery want in his abdomen goes cold and rotten in earnest. He can't look back at you. You've seen.

You must think he's hideous. A thing only worthy to be kept, to be hit, to be made use of. He wants to curl into himself and hide.

"I've never seen these," you murmur. "Do you keep them hidden?"

Shamefully, Xiao forces himself to nod; he can't possibly speak.

"Oh, sweet boy..." And your hands move again, tracing up and down the ridges, the jagged X that serves as a remnant of his days of servitude, tattoos his skin like a brand of ownership. Whip scars, beatings where the skin sliced open, pockmarking an unmeasurable amount of skin. Xiao wants simultaneously to pull away and to melt into you; he wants to let you rip him open at the seams, sink your hands into the ichor and black karma that makes him up inside. The thought of disappearing into the wind flits briefly, temptingly, across his mind—and then your hands drag over the center of that jagged X and his eyes roll back in his head, and the sinks into the mattress with little more than a whimper.

"You're so beautiful," he hears you whisper, and it feels impossible, like a sweet dream of some other reality where he deserves such gentle treatment. Your fingers nudge at the back of his head, coaxing. "Look at me?"

He cracks open a heavy eye with great difficulty; it gleams bright as topaz above cheekbones shaded in deep scarlet, hair amuss, shielding the rest of his expression, but his eyes speak enough. He looks agonised.

You lean forward, press your lips to the raised center of the labyrinth of scars in a stinging kiss, and Xiao swallows a choked noise. "I don't want you to hide these from me anymore, okay? Look how strong you are. How brave. I want to be reminded of that every time I look at you—that's what you deserve."

Xiao draws in a shaky breath. "I am not... any of that," he mumbles, paying no mind to how wrecked his voice sounds. "These are marks o weakness. Of servitude."

I've got 12! Most are oneshots, others are series.

47002 on AO3 at the moment! And so much more in my docs.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Primarily Fallen Hero, with a dash of TWC and some other fandoms sprinkled in my WIPS but I've been on Fallen Hero brainrot for a long time now so the other fandoms are currently neglected.

I typically HATE crossover fics they just aren't my thing I do write AUs of X story set in X story's universe, just haven't published them (wait does that still count as a crossover).

Nah, considered it once tho.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I stare into the google docs hell and ask you how you could expect me to pick one but. BUT. Praeludium//Allegro. A piece meant to dive in how Sidestep is able to experience the moment someone dies through their mind.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Shorter pieces! They tend to be about ~2000-5000 words per part, that's usually when I feel I've done my best. I'm also. Decent at NSFW writing? Sometimes, at least.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Definitely long fics. I had a plan for freefall and have scrapped and adapted it multiple times now, pus it's just difficult to keep myself interested in specific but necessary chapters.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

It's fun! I've included Spanish and Russian excerpts into my fics before but I don't do it a lot. Considered writing fully in Spanish at some point for an Ortega POV but I'm not confident in my grammar abilities. Spanish verb tenses my beloathed.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Naruto. On a different old account best left to gather dust.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

overthinking and underthinking, stopping myself from making something happen or a character do something because theres this pull in my chest telling me its wrong. even just standard selfishness or saying something without the express intent of making sure it wont hurt someones feelings. i also start sentences with verbs djaldjdjaf

makes sense if characters are speaking multiple languages i guess. depends on pov and how limited it is to the pov character. like if the pov character doesnt speak spanish it'd be better to write "and they said something in spanish they didnt understand" instead of writing the spanish out assuming the audience doesnt know it either

All Tatsumi could do was smile, her grip tightening on her water bottle as she watched you coddle Mayoi, touching her a bit too freely. She couldn't do anything other than that because one, Hiiro and Aira were there and she was technically their role mode, and two, if she actually did something Mayoi would have a heart attack.

So all she could do was sit and watch the 'chemistry' between the two of you.

It really was irritating.

"Wah~ [name]-chan!" Mayoi wailed, hooking her arms around your waist and dramatically sobbing. "You're the best!"

Take a deep breath, Tatsumi. They’re just friends.

After two agonizing hours of Tatsumi watching you and Mayoi play around, Alkaloid’s practice was finally over and it was time for the two of you to head home. You were rather tired after practice so when you drove home you didn’t bother to notice nor speak up about the tense silence.

A loud screech reverberated through her ears, and she jolted out of her headspace, turning to you with wide purple eyes. “[name]-?”

You turned the car off, tossed the key into the cup holder and turned to stare at her right in her eye.

Tatsumi opened her mouth, closed it, then opened it again before you could say anything else.

Your gaze faltered, blinking as she gave you an expression closely resembling a pout. “For the entire practice you wouldn’t go up to me and at least say, ‘how are you doing’ or ‘you wanna go a one-on-one’ like you usually do? We’re you that busy with Mayoi that you couldn’t possibly focus on your girlfriend?”

Now you were the silent one. Did she really think that? Then again, I was kinda hanging out with Mayo more...

Tatsumi looked ready to burst, but closed her eyes and took a deep breath, her hands unconsciously blessing herself. “Lord almighty... help me.”

Her eyes then blinked open and stared at you, and you felt a chill on your spine at her unreadable look.

“Rather... may the Lord help you, my dear. Because He’s losing me tonight.”

She is very monitored and limited with soul magic (due to her husband being cautious af). But if its me straight up? Fire magic/fire chi.

• Who is your fave kharacter(s)?: this will be extensive) shang tsung,kung lao,liu kang,scorpion,subzero(both kuai and bi-han),raiden,fujin,jax,johnny cage,kano,jade,kitana,shao kahn,mileena,goro,kintaro,sheeva,reptile,smoke,rain,cyrax,sektor,nightwolf. These are just ones i really like.

• If you had to pick a representative realm,who's side would you be on? Or would you be on your own side,acting alone? Aka neutral.: I'd be neutral. I mean I'd be probably a bit bias to earthrealm,because i live there. Buuuut. Eh.

• If your found yourself on shang tsung's island,washed up on the beach. What is your first reaction,and what would you do first?: besides choking half to death of seawater. I'd probably mildly panic. But then be happy because its a tropical paradise. Unf,yes. But I'd try to find out who lives here if any at all. • Fatalities,brutalities,or friendship?: depends on the situation. Game wise. I love brutalities more now than fatalities. Friendships are always welcome. Storywise or in a narrative? Maybe a fatality,cant go wrong with that. Friendships or mercy if the story counts for it.

• What stage would you NOT wanna be stuck in?: fuuuuuuck. Probably the pit only because,i do not like heights. But close second would be the deadpool/acid pit.

• Who would be absolutely terrifying to fight in mk. Even if it was at its fairest and you had the highest advantage.: raiden. Because why would you fight a god? Shang tsung not because he is only dangerous to fight but this fucker would know i like him,and take full advantage of that. He probably already has. The fight wouldn't get anywhere because he'd be too busy trying to get a rise outta me.

• Who's your least faves and why?: Stryker,because acab and i just dont like him all that much. Kronika because she's useless as a main badguy is underwhelming,and boring. (Look things could always be written better but how it was played out was hella sloppy and no excuse for them to not write better)

• Who's in your opinion the best character to play as? Who is the worst?: that depends entirely on you. For me personally the worst,i hate playing d'vorah and mileena in mk11 soley for the fact its hella unbalanced. But overall in mk across the board. Any character with gun(minus erron black because his character is based around rooty tooty mc shooty). As for the best character. Any of the two monks,johnny cage,raiden(if done right) and shang tsung if you wanna be an absolute jerk to your opponent. These characters are well rounded across many games for the most part and good to play even if you know nothing of mk. Or fighting games. Liu kang is easy and so is johnny cage. Good for beginners.

• Fave game?: shaolin monks and mk2.

• Least fave game?: honestly i dunno. I can't hate a mk game. Only critique its storytelling. But it's never been 100% anyways so despite any personal gripes. All mk games at the end of the day are fun. If you aint having fun. Then it sucks.

• Favorite iteration of your faves? The least fave?: ok look my fave shang tsung is always the 95 movie. 11 when he came back i was so stoked! (And the only reason why i got mk11 in the first place. I wouldn't touch it otherwise) but i have a soft spot for mk legends SR and BOTR old man shang tsung. Artt butler's performance grew on me. But no offense,unpopular opinion here. Snowblind sucked. Unless you are a kano simp or a kenshi fan. You wont like this movie. It feels so catered to one type of audience it aint funny. But BOTR and SR also has some problems too. But shang tsung is once again the only good thing about it. Maybe raiden. But thats about it. Sadly.

• Who would you love to have a drink with?: shang,not because i love the character. But because it would be fun and interesting conversations I'd have. Maybe raiden or fujin.

• Who would you play board games/videogames with?: raiden or kung lao or liu kang. They'd be fun. Videogames with johnny cage. Because he'd be a blast.

• Who would you have as a sparring partner?: if not shang? Liu kang. He'd be fair... ish.

• Who is your arch nemesis?: quan chi. More likely.

• Who if given the chance to. Would you love to sit down and have a deep conversation with?: shang tsung or raiden. If i can get away with it,shao kahn surprisingly. (Look my shao kahn is waaaaaaay more scary intelligent than is depicted in most media)

• Would you help johnny cage with a movie if given the opportunity?: maybe. Depending on the script.

Second of all actually make the elder gods do their jobs,be more involved and relevant again. 3rd thing,write a better system of rules of mk and enforce the tournament,like actually make this not just plot convenient. Actually enforcing these rules.

• If you could have the power of the crown,would you take it? If so what would you do? If not,who would you give it to and why?: i wrote a whole thing for that with my self insert oc lady tsung.

• What is a race/species in mk you want to be explored or expanded upon?: the kytinn,the shokan,maybe reptiles species the saurians.

• What part of the lore is underrated or underused?: shiiiiit there is too many things they forgot and left to rot.

• Opinion on the special forces?: too much involvement in the story when they dont need to be. Not to be that guy but i really wish people would stop having this obsession with us military. It's disturbing to me. And special forces,was never ment to be a huge thing. It was so minuscule in the grand scheme of things for mk. Like it was to show " hey yeah, you aren't the big bad tough guys here. There is something bigger than you. So buckle up bitch because you about to get humbled" because i loved it when the characters had to rely on things that was beyond them. Like actual fighting skils and not relying on "gUn" to do the job. Maybe magic. Because let's be real. The us military would both piss their pants at an actual invasion of another world. Plus wanna get their greedy hands in whatever crap outworld has to offer. Dont lie. We'd be fucked if we didn't have a raiden or mk tournament to back us up. The only thing that should come out of SF is sonya n jax and they are again,minuscule in the grand scheme of it all. They got humbled real quick. As it should be. There is more I'd add. But id be here all day.

• Opinion on the elder gods?: should be utilized more and better. But overall cool.

• Opinion on the old timeline? New timeline?: honestly i just want a good story. New,old,dont matter.

• Opinion on the "kombat kids"?: could be better. Takeda and jin are the only ones i actually care about. Jacqui is cool but became a jax "clone" instead of her our autonomy as a character. And cassie,dont get me started on her. I'd be in a rage for days. But I'll leave it as she should have been johnnys kid from other marriage,instead of a careless one night stand that turned into loveless forced marriage for plot because the writers are brain dead and bigoted towards jax's family(because of course the only two main yt characters gotta have happy endings without much damage and actual consequences). But ya know. That's too spicy for people who don't understand why this shit pisses me off personally.

• Are you a heroic kharacter,villainous,neutral,etc?: myself? neutral for the most part.(as for my self insert oc Lady tsung will always be by her husband's side regardless if it's agreement with him or not. That woman is loyal. She is also neutral for the most part)

Skip this.): honestly the rules should be more prevalent in the plot and story in general than what is shown. Period.

• What features would you keep,get rid of,and better utilize or polish up. Or even add?: get rid of too specific augements that legit are useless otherwise. Keep the easy fatalities tokens those are a godsend. And maybe add better skins and outfits. Better customization than just color palette swaps. And not 30000 of the same one only slightly different. Add a color wheel to custom the color more.

• Who is more aesthetically appealing?: shang tsung. Yeah im bias. But maybe the storm gods. But again they are gods so....yeah.

The man you had met so many years ago, the one concerned only with the next move, the next solution, the answer.

You entered the cockpit to find the Frog Lady exclaiming in Frog, her webbed hands flying desperately around the space near her.

Din still held his adika in his arms as he sat in the pilot's chair, his helmet turning from one side of the control panel to the other as he thought.

"She needs her eggs, cyri'ka." Din called over the blare of the ship's alarm system.

You lifted your hands from the woman's shoulders and looked towards Din. "Where are they?"

"They were down by our quarters. I'm gonna get started on the repairs." He stood from his chair and walked past the inconsolable woman to you. He handed the baby back to you and cupped your face in his hands, tilting his helmet down to meet your forehead with his own. "I'm glad you're safe." He whispered.

You reached up with your free hand and grabbed one of his outstretched arms. "I'm glad you're safe too."

The Mandalorian let his hands fall from your face and then began to scour the wrecked ship for his tool bag.

You turned your attention to the baby who was now sucking his thumb and had settled in your arms. "Let's find some eggs, pal."

You moved your attention from scrutinizing the entrance to what looked like an ice cave behind the wrecked Razor Crest, back to the tool bag beside you. You grabbed the wrench and handed it to Din. A wicked chill rushed though the flimsy blanket wrapped around your shoulders and you shivered.

Din asked, "Cold?" A subtle hint of worry dance across his voice.

You smiled and nodded sheepishly. "Yeah."

"I'll get you warm soon enough." He said, his tone matter-of-fact.

You looked to him, a playful grin on your face. "Oh, you will?"

Din nodded, his attention still on the damaged ship in front of him.

Making a print in the snow as you moved, you scooted closer to the Mandalorian, moving your hand to rest on the frigid metal of the beskar armor on his thigh. You leaned up towards his ear and whispered, "Show me."

Din stopped his working and touched his chilled helmet to the warmth of your cheek, pulling a surprised hiss from you. "How do you ask?" He whispered, his tone thick and gravelly.

The Mandalorian chuckled and said, "You should get in. Keep yourself warm."

Your eyebrows went up high on your face and you smirked, "Uh huh, sure. You just want me to get naked, don't you?"

The warmth of the hot spring bubbling in the icy ground behind you made the air circling around you and Din thick and moist with humidity. You could see the speckles of condensation upon your riddur's beskar.

Din shrugged his shoulders. "Well..." He began, holding his arms out in surrender. "Yeah. That's kind of the whole reason we're in here in the first place." He nodded to the blue ice of the cave around the two of you.

You smirked and crossed the space between the two of you, slowly moving your palms up from the armor on his chest to rest over his shoulder. Your body pressed against his and the feeling of his form against yours made you sigh in contentment.

Din's hands instinctively went your waist, his gloved fingers gentle on your goosebump-ridden skin.

"How do you want me first?" You whispered, your eyes searching for where his would be behind the beskar.

Din's fingers tightened on your waist and you could feel his chest grow against yours as he took in breath. He shook his head and you were so close you could hear the parting of his lips.  

You smiled softly at him, his embarrassment making your blood thump loudly in your ears. You bit your lip and began to unzip your coat, stepping out of your boots as you did.

Din's gloved hands took the coat from off of your shoulders, dragging his fingers down your skin softly.

Chills instantly over took you, making the hairs on your arms and face stand up. "I want to feel your hands on me." You whispered before pulling your shirt up and off of your body, throwing it onto the growing pile of clothes at Din's feet.

Din hurriedly pulled off his gloves and steadied you as you stepped out of your pants and socks, leaving you almost completely exposed in the frigid cave. That’s a- actually kinda simple tbh- its not an interesting story- At first I was actually unsure about it, but then- the more I wrote, the more I got super into it-  It was just… super fun to me after I did it for awhile

I deeply regret it tbh, but- I never mind and am actually grateful when someone corrects me when using a word incorrectly in a sentence or whatever
