✨ Quick "Celeb Crush" Pick A Card Tarot Reading
What would your celeb crush think if they met you?
Note: I am focused more on influencers than the ultra-famous, but I suppose it could apply as well.
Minors Do Not Interact, since there are adult themes mentioned.
Disclaimer: Do not act on this information as it is for entertainment purposes only.
Seriously. Don't harass or stalk anyone (especially those who have created firm boundaries with you). Don't do crimes. I'm not a professional.
Also, energy changes with your ideas, thoughts, beliefs and effort. Also, don't be a crazy psycho stalker or go out of your way to meet this person just because of this reading. Okay?
Let's start!! I used the Star Spinner Tarot for this reading.
Just imagine your crush and choose the image you're gravitated to the most.
1: 🔥✨ ace of wands: Sexy. They find you attractive. Alternatively, they see that you have a lot of creative ambition and would love to work with you. They see a business opportunity with you! AWESOME.
2: 🤔🎆the tower: Erection. They would have one for you. Alternatively, this could be an event where something shocking or devastating happens and you both experience it. You could bump into them and one of you gets injured or they might see you get injured from afar. They could also be seeking reprieve of some sort, but a fan or some fans found them / spotted them out doing something. Maybe even something they will get mocked for doing if it makes it to the media or certain social groups.
3: 😂😔10 of wands, ace of swords: They are fucking too tired to exist right now. You either say or do something that enlightens them. They think this is a learning opportunity for them. Example: they are too busy or overwhelmed to greet you so they remind themselves to not disappoint their fans again by getting burnt out or overworked.
4:🦋🎇 5 of wands rx: They feel like you're not competing for them or with them. They admire you respecting differences and being "good" or "polite." Basically. Like how adults tell the quiet well-mannered kid "you're such a good girl/boy/kid" and so on. They will view you like that. "The ideal fan."
5: 🎆💗ace of cups: They will love you right away. This is adoration from someone who really is connecting with you. You will actually have the opportunity to form a relationship on an emotional level with them. You touch their heart out of everyone else.
6: 😆🌈10 of cups: They think you have a happy life or family. They feel good in your presence though, like you are just like family to them. Soul-family vibes. They would think you were friendly and try to make friends with you. They would think you're cool.
7: 🤷😈6 of coins sideways: They aren't sure if you're bread-crumbing them or not. They are toying with the idea of playing with you. They like to be a player and are thinking of playing you or like ... playing mind games with you. If not romantic, they are thinking you aren't giving them much to go off of or they aren't sure how to respond to you. You aren't doing anything wrong or weird, by the way. They just aren't too sure if they think you are generous with your words / praise or stingy. It's okay though. They can't tell if someone wants something from them most of the time, but if you asked they would probably feel obligated to give it to you. Like a selfie or autograph? I feel like now isn't the best time to meet them, but maybe later on.
8: 😔😶 the hermit: They think you are a loner or don't want to be bothered. You might be looking for something, someone or some place and they see you trying to find it / them / your way there. Your Celeb Crush may also just try to sneak off and be alone right now. They don't seem very social. They want to hide away and not be bothered.
9: 👀😃 knight of swords; They probably think " damn, she was fast" like you approached them quickly and were like "hiIfuckinloveyou" out of nowhere. They probably think your a stan or fan girl. They would smile and take it, sign your autograph and be off. I know that probably sounded off-putting, but that's not how you should take it. I'm seeing you be like excited to meet them and they have a teeny smile, but they're exhausted from work or not sleeping well. or fuckin' all 'em bitches late at night. idk. :)

Regarding the sex pet introduction. I remember reading this post from The Lady Of Bloodshed and it was an ask about Feyre standing in the Spring Court VS Night Court. I think it was an old post, please forgive me if I recall it wrong. Please correct me if i got it wrong.
But yes, it also disturb me the fact Rhys introduce her as a whore VS Tamlin introduce her as the "next SC lady". I remember Tamlin set the party and everyone was joyous, respectful to Feyre. Mind you, Tamlin introduce Feyre to his close circle, his childhood friends and we know this friends has influence in SC political structure and dynamic. Tamlin trusted her and I would say he respect her and want the SC to respect her too (Credit to Tamlin from Acotar 1).
But rhys? Suddenly out of nowhere he bring a whore to the Hewn City event/party? No introduction, no proper gathering, no introducing Feyre who is who in HC. Suddenly, Feyre a whore.
If you see this from HC people POV, wont they be disgusted with Rhys and especially Feyre? "The HL kidnapp a Spring Court bride and made her a whore in our court" and of course HC people hated Feyre. Their position os vulnerable because of their HL kidnapped another HL bride. This is emphasize by Cressida when they visit Summer Court.
I get Feyre will be clueless of this but Rhys? It was as if he wanted to isolate Feyre and control Feyre narrative of other. All other court they visited or have history is bad IF rhys think they are bad. Spring Court,? Bad history and suddenly Feyre destroy the court. Summer Court? Rhys somehow dont like them and lie to them and have Feyre stole the book. Autumn? Yeah, they got beef in the HL meeting and Feyre accidentally burn the Lady Autmn hands and then proceed to bully, make fun Lucien and his band.
Urghh I hate the whole thing Rhys introduce him as a sex pet. Feyre was a mortal that got through the trial and can be seen as hero to Prythian but now she is a whore, kidnapped bride from SC and your man dont even do a public marriage with you. It really make me itch thinking Rhys did not do a proper wedding with Feyre. He is a HL, establishing a proper ceremony with his wife is important. It legitimaze Feyre position and guarantee safety of his future heir from being ostracize in the succession line. It would be silly for a 500 years old male not knowing of this.
While all this thing of wedding, confirming Feyre position is not done by Rhys. Tamlin at least acknowledge this thing and were ready to handed it to Feyre.
Yeah yeah, I get Feyre dont want to this docile pretty pretty Wife. But the narrative of her position can be set up and change later after she got married (Though it dont happen because tamlin got paranoid). The least was, she will be wed to Tamlin and recognize as Lady of SC. Any attempt to hurt her is seen as hurting SC overall and challenging Tamlin as HL. Now, Feyre introduce as whore in Night Court. No one would careless if she die why? No paper work, no ceremony,no legitimazation frkm the HL himself.
Thats all, thanks coming to my Ted talk. I shall go lunch and back to Email Factory
Hello Email Factory anon
it's morning for me, I already typed a long reply to this, but Tumblr is fighting me, so I had to get out of bed and fetch my laptop.
(keep in mind i have not read SF and likely never will)
For many fans, Feyre's status of High Lady isn't something they question. Acotar Elon Musk aka Riceball said it is, so it is.
For some antis, they question the validity of it. the argument being: The HL title is not something the current High Lord can pass or share with whoever he chooses, HL is chosen by the land. there is no evidence, lore wise, that supports Riceball being able to make Feyre HL.
my personal theory is that Feyre could actually be HL of ANY or ALL courts due to her having a part of their magic. my evidence being that she was able to bypass the security of that temple in Summer because the magic recognised her as Tarquin. i think Feyre essentially has a skeleton key to every court.
and i think Rice knew that.
i think he recognised not only the threat, but the potential there and not just isolate her, as you pointed out, but fool her too. by having a private ceremony in which he makes her think it was him who granted her the status of HL.
I also think, to varying degrees of intention, he then went on to undermine her authority in each section of his court
The title of Cursebreaker, which should have been the key to his diplomatic strategy in MAF and WAR, was instead replaced
in Velaris:
Feyre could have easily secured lots of love and respect from her actions as the Saviour of the Rainbow. But fast-forward and post war all she has done is a little bit of philanthropy, have sex in the sky, build a 5th house and paint.
Im not sure what she could do for Velaris but what we do get is more about herself and the ic than the people
in Illyria:
Lets start with the fact that because the only Illyrians Feyre knows personally are Rice, Casserole and Adzuki Bean - she should have a more positive or at least optimistic view of Illyrians. but she wastes no time in absorbing and identifying with their racism. and sjm's racist narrative is not going to confront Feyre even when Illyrians only actions on paper are fighting and dying in the war against Hybern.
the books and it's fans will cite the fgm-like cultural practices but not confront that Rice and Co. have done nothing to actually stop or punish it, and admit to needing Illyrian's as fodder - something that is only possible when the society is kept at the brink of anarchy and war, necessitating the continued brutalization of its women and children
Feyre should have gotten the Valkyrie plot. yea, it's a white saviour trope but she is the official ruler of these people so the least she can do is help them, immerse herself in their culture (instead of just wearing their skins willy nilly) and maybe even adopted some kids idk
in the Hewn City:
first we need to set straight that the HC - not Velaris, a secret city - is the offical capital of the Night Court and the seat of it's HL. the people who live in it are the nobility. in a world of eugenics and lesser classes like acotar, this matters
we have already seen that the HL title can skip a royal line and fall to not directly in the line of succession, regardless of gender. (in Summer, the title skipped not just Princess Cresseida but also Prince Varian, to pass to their cousin, Tarquin)
we have also seen that age, even within the direct line of succession, is not a determining factor. (With Tamlin it skipped his older brothers and with Lucien, though we know he is not Beron's son, his older brothers legitimately believed him to be next in line)
given all of this, it is entirely possible that someone from the HC might be next in line. and yet Rice makes no attempt to truly bridge the gap between his Court of Dreams and Court of Nightmares. he introduces the person he knows is his mate to them as a pet.
Again, she's not just a stolen bride of spring but THEE CURSEBREAKER, she could have shown her off like a trophy or a token of his power if he really wanted to tie her power directly to his but no, he introduces her like a thing he owns, a thing that is beneath him.
it doesn't matter that later he says she is HL or that he puts a throne besides his, the narrative is already set: she is what she is, because he said so
a better idea would have been to throw a ball with her as the guest of honour, for her to stop Riceball from tormenting his subjects - would he listen to her? probably not so nvm
in contrast, Tamlin - who given his personality and attitude towards being HL in book1 - might not have wanted a grand ceremony but understood it would be good for his diplomacy and his court
he wanted to publicly marry Feyre - someone who was not his mate - tying them together in front of his court so they could all acknowledge their bond both personally and politically
he wanted her to be recognised and respected as the Lady of Spring even if he didnt think she could be High Lady of Spring
ignoring the similar situations of control and abuse Feyre faces in both - doesn't matter if she decides she likes Rice's, it's still control and abuse
it's kind of undeniable that Rice went about things in a way that is at best stupid and at worst manipulative
sjm tries to walk many lines between politics and love stories but she not every good at either so it just turns into a mess
though i will say: Rice would at least be interesting if he was doing all of this on purpose but so far sjm seems too in love with him to let him be intentionally heinous towards his love interest

okay. so. since i have finished the wuthering waves main story currently available (act vi) as well as jiyan's story quest, i can finally have some thoughts about him to do somewhat of an analysis on his character (bear in mind this will still be quite limited since i don't have access to his voicelines/other character voicelines about him, along with his story since i just pulled him today ;w;)
this, uh, will also be long. like. long. you have been warned :'D !! (also slight geshu lin analysis bc parallels and contradictions and raahh)
for the sake of some spoilers for act vi and his story quest, the rest will be utc !!
1) how others see him
okay, so from what we've seen so far, jiyan is initially presented as a reliable and duty-bound character. he's a general, so of course he has to be responsible and be a certain way, especially when in front of his soldiers, who view him as all these characteristics as well as being relatively stoic and work-focused. this is hinted throughout the quests and through npcs, and in his story quest they're also hesitant to ask jiyan to join their team believing he wouldn't take part in such things like the gulpuff relay race, only for wenshu to say otherwise:
it isn't really a surprise that they wouldn't know jiyan has other sides to him; they're his subordinates. it's also typically what he shows them as "general jiyan", rather than just "jiyan" himself. basically just a line between work and personal life, if that makes it clearer.
the people of jinzhou, and the midnight rangers especially, all respect him. on top of being the youngest appointed general, he is presented as an "invincible warrior no enemy stood a chance against" (from his story: the reason to fight). he is essentially their light and voice of reason.
though this could be due to the fact jiyan tends to keep his troubles and pain to himself to avoid worrying those around him, and to continue performing what is expected of him as a general.
an example is during act vi, after jiyan confronted the geshu lin's phantom from the retroact rain:
this was also seen at the end of act vi, where i believe it was yuehui who commented on the wounded state of jiyan being worse than the majority, but returning to his duties shortly after and seemingly not resting properly to sufficiently recover. (well, jiyan was a medic, so hopefully he did properly tend to himself and have breaks... glares at him...)
all in all for this segment, jiyan is largely viewed as a powerful general whom the public and his soldiers know they can fall back on without worry, as they have full confidence in his abilities to protect.
2) his nature
another thing is that he is a very meticulous character. this is portrayed through his constant check-ups on the midnight rangers, the people, the area, and also through his habit of being very particular about cleanliness. (this was mentioned in his profile reveal, though i'm not sure if it's talked about anywhere in game.)
despite the responsibilities and consequences he faces, he makes sure everyone is looked after in his own way. i think it says a lot about him, and possibly about his family having a history of being in the line of medicine.
taken from his story: [what's inside his gourd?]
jiyan, however, has a tendency to hide his troubles from those around him, instead placing greater emphasis and priority on the current situation(s) or his comrades.
for instance, barely anyone is aware that the deceased soldiers — people whom he failed to save — haunt his nightmares, further pressured by the burden of his position and the fact every action of his can have even the slightest of consequences.
taken from his story: [the reason to fight]
he is resolute in this regard, fully committing to his beliefs and what he deems to be righteous. even despite the risks of overexertion which may follow, jiyan will still see it through to the end regardless of the outcome.
taken from his story: [the unyielding will]
(also, i would just like to say i'm thankful we do get mentions of ability overuse/overexertion confirmed, along with tacet mark sensitivity to a certain degree, since this could be one of the many triggers for overclocking (basically the loss of control of a resonator through a trigger of sorts), and i just want more lore and stuff on what overclock actually is. hopefully we get to see a character go through it in the future, as bad as it sounds, because it's just so fascinating and interesting and !! okay. back to the analysis. sorry.)
this was explicitly demonstrated during the boss fight in act vi, where jiyan jumped in front of us to take and block the attack sent our way, incidentally knocking him down and causing our "awakening", only to then quickly recover and continue supporting us through crucial moments during the fight, even at the cost of his own well-being (read: the injuries he later sustained that were mentioned by yuehui post act vi).
that doesn't mean he isn't sentimental to those around him. in fact, he is probably one of the most caring and (though can be in quite subtle ways) expressive characters we know of so far. in his own, discreet way, he makes sure everyone is tended to and left without worry no matter how trivial the problem, for that is his duty as their general and fellow comrade.
taken from his story: [silent caretaker]
following that, jiyan takes camaraderie very seriously. this is well-established in his story quest, wherein the basis of it surrounds jiyan's insight about his team, his comrades' sacrifice and honouring the dead.
as well as these lines from his trailer, wherein his resolve to save people was seen as futile from the veteran rangers who already lost hope.
and yet, despite their dissuasion, jiyan continued on doing what he can for his people, and to minimise the losses as much as possible going forward.
at the end of the quest in particular we see him at probably his most vulnerable, where he asks us to plant an emortia for him should he die (i won't let him.); the very same flower he has been planting for each passed soldier for who knows how long.
the whole scene gave us a glimpse of the inner workings of his mind where he is just "jiyan" with no title attached to him. in this scene, he is just a man who wishes for his fellow soldiers to be able to rest at ease knowing a new day will come, and that their sacrifice wasn't in vain.
3) geshu lin parallels sorry. i couldn't help myself. (i'm not sorry.)
also, i think another aspect i find interesting is the parallel between the current general jiyan, and the former general geshu lin. by this i mean geshu lin in both jiyan's trailer and the beginning-ish of act vi was depicted as someone ruthless in the way he is okay with there being sacrifices if it means they will achieve victory, and essentially sees avoiding that to be cowardly.
meanwhile, jiyan, as we have seen in the section prior, does his utmost to avoid as many casualties as he possibly can. a major part of his character is built around the notion of camaraderie and fighting for what he believes is right, which clashes with geshu lin's own thoughts.
even so, geshu lin notes how they are inherently similar, if not the same in a couple of instances:
jiyan's trailer also had geshu lin say this:
which could have a lot of implications, one of which being that they both want to save everyone and keep the peace of huanglong, yet their principles and how they go about it diverge in spite of their shared wish.
where geshu lin has little reservations (well, at least that we know about from this small snippet) about having to sacrifice his soldiers if it means achieving his end goal, jiyan will plan and plan and plan to do his utmost to reduce the number of casualties as possible while also maintaining efficiency, even if it means he alone has to go to the forefront to clear the way.
tldr: we love jiyan. he is the beloved. the best man who probably needs someone to constantly make sure he is prioritising himself despite his previous medic status. but we love him anyway. 🫶

My Hero Academia: Chapter 424 Spoiler Thoughts:
MHA is finally back from break and we have a calm after the storm chapter. Let me put my thought on Tumblr for a bit:
So, let's get this out of the way: Tomura Shigaraki/Tenko Shimura is dead. Like, DEAD, dead. Unless Kohei Horikoshi pulls the rug under us, I think he's made it clear that Tenko's not coming back. Those last 2 pages were it for his conclusion. He did add one more panel of Shiggy and some dialogue from Deku to say that maybe Deku really did "save" Tenko, but that's all we got. I'm still unsure how to feel about this, but I appreciate Horikoshi giving Tenko a bit more of a conclusion after the last chapter. But, the story isn't over yet, so we'll see if he's mentioned again.
Bakugo's parts were the best parts of this chapter. I'm glad to see him alive and well after everything (I highly doubt Horikoshi would keep him dead again anyway) and that his parents are there for him (Mitsuki yelling at him was funny ngl). Sucks that his right arm will never fully recover, but maybe that rehab will help him get to a good enough place. Also, his moments with Deku and All Might were incredibly sweet and a great conclusion to their little storyline. Seeing Bakugo genuinely tear up and look back on his and Deku's relationship throughout the years honestly moved me because it shows how far this young man has come (the artwork on his face is so good btw; Horikoshi has always been great at expressions in particular). Katsuki Bakugo's character development is one of my favorites in the series and he deserves #1 in every character poll he gets.
EDIT: OH, BAKUGO'S CRYING OVER DEKU BEING QUIRKLESS AGAIN AFTER THE EMBERS BURN OUT ONE DAY I'M GOING TO FUCKING CRY WHAT THE FUCK 😭
Deku continues to be Deku till the very end. I loved Izuku nerding out about how he gets to share a hospital room with All Might because of course he would. It's also nice to hear that A.) All Might reassures Deku that even though he doesn't feel like he saved Tenko because Tenko died, he still might have in the end and B.) Deku still has the embers of One For All which doesn't make him Quirkless. I assume this means that Deku is basically back at the start when he first got OFA. I'm sure his strength is still there at least, but it's probably not nearly as powerful as it was in the final battle.
Also, Deku's haircut 😭! I know they had to do it because it got messed up in the final battle and surgery, but please let his hair grow again before the manga ends, Horikoshi! I want his cute, bushy green hair back! There's also a scar on his right cheek covering his cute freckles I can't. His eyeball popping out of his socket when he sees Kacchan cry was hilarious, though 😂
All Might also telling Deku and Bakugo that they're the greatest heroes to him and everyone else is a really nice full circle on their initial dreams when the story started.
And then there are the two panels we get of Shoto and Ochako. I assume we'll touch on their epilogues next chapter, but I'm curious how they're doing because Ochako looks solemn and we don't even see Shoto's face because his back is turned to us in a dark light. I bet they're reflecting on what happened to Toga and Dabi respectively. We're still not sure if either of them really died, so it's a coin flip as to whether they did or not. There's also Shoto's whole family situation that needs tying up which is a whole other can of worms. I really hope this gets covered in the next chapter.
Finally, we see Deku and the others returning to UA which is currently being rebuilt. I'm guessing we'll see how everyone else is doing post-war too either in the next chapter or later. While we need to cover the main 4 (Izuku, Bakugo, Shoto, and Ochako), we also need to see how everyone else is doing because they weren't the only ones affected by the war. Everyone has battle scars of some kind.
And while the chapter is called "Epilogue", it's not over yet. We clearly have more story to cover and bows to tie as neatly as possible. Horikoshi can't please everyone (no one can, really), but I can tell that he's doing his best and that he still genuinely cares about his story after nearly 10 years. I'd say we have the rest of June at least and the end of summer at most until MHA finally ends. This was a really nice "wrap-up" chapter and we have more to go until the end. Despite its flaws, My Hero Academia is still peak fiction to me and some of the parts in this chapter cement that. It will always have a special place in my heart. I will be sad to see this series go, but I will be there until the end.
EDIT: I just saw Horikoshi's comment this week and it basically confirms that we have more story to come. He doesn't say how many chapter but he says "I'll keep going for a little while" and that we're returning to school life; the "Academia" part of the story. I'm really glad he's not rushing the conclusion because there's a lot of stories and characters to give finales to. I'm also really curious to see how school life is post-war, so I'm glad that'll be explored.

Ok, been sitting on this for a while, been trying to talk myself out of it, but here goes.
The book doesn't sell me on the love Theoden had for Eowyn.
I tried to read it and find something in his actions towards her that tell me he has proper regard, proper respect for her, that gives any weight or meaning to his love for her, but I can't find anything. He dismisses her before the entire court, doesn't consider her an heir or a proper part of his house, and has to have her virtues called out to him by other people, when she has been serving him for years.
Return Of The King sees him spout platitudes and declare her "dearer than daughter", but none of this is backed up by his general actions to her.
He loves Eowyn, fine. But he doesn't love her the way he loves Eomer, or probably loved Theodred. He doesn't love her as a fully realised being. Nor as someone to take pride in and carry on his legacy. He loves her a crutch, a tool, and something between pet and person.
He has affection for Eowyn, but his love feels more like a trivial thing, than something with any real worth or regard to it.

whoever the anon is that constantly finds a way to hate on elaine, please stop 😭 you’re entitled to dislike whoever you want, but it’s getting tiring to hear. i don’t want to block you because the other things you say are perfectly reasonable and i would be happy to answer them, but it’s clear at this point that nothing elaine does will satisfy you so i see no point in hashing it out

Stray Kids Dynamics: Changbin and Han
HJ - So, I'm jealous. Because if I write a solo song, the lyrics of the song end up a lot lighter than I originally expected. There were so many times where I changed my lyrics completely. And your ideas. I'm so jealous of your ideas. ...You found so many of the unique keywords. In the behind the scenes, the other members often say, "Han is a genius," but I think you're the real genius.
CB - Personally, when I look at our performances, you can take on a variety of things. Having a variety of facial expressions, I'm jealous of all that. Everyone has their own style when it comes to performing, but since we're idols and do a variety of concepts, I think there a lot of things that I take cue from you while monitoring those performances. You do these little gestures that fit the lyrics really well, but you do those on the spot.

"his parents molded him to be what they wanted him to be, but instead they created a power hungry villain" i believe it, especially considering how illumi spent his early childhood being an only child i'm pretty sure they were selfish and controlling
this is why i want illumi to be silva's worst nightmare
Hi anon and thank you for the ask! Illumi spent his early childhood alone, he didn't have the experience his youngest siblings had (Killua, Alluka, and Kalluto being closer in age, growing up together and relatively sharing the same experiences at the same time) so whatever Illumi was going through, from his father being emotionally distant/ his mother being suffocating/his youngest siblings being so little, Illumi had to deal with it alone. Finding solace in the places he could and developing an unhealthy appetite for power and control in the process. When Illumi was little, I believe he didn't question his upbringing because he didn't know any other life, nor did he have friends to talk to. When you're taught something by birth from your mother and father you believe them because they're your parents. And to present day, he still believes in the lifestyle that was taught to him. But, as Illumi grew older, I believe he began to prioritize his needs/wants.
The Zoldycks love each other, but they don't love each member equally :0 There is a bias among the zoldycks. Some members are clearly prioritized over others. The love they have for each other is not unconditional, but selfish and self-serving. The Zoldyck family chart tells us something very interesting about Illumi!
If we compare both Illumi and Milluki's relationship with their father, it tells us something very important! Or at least, what Illumi isn't.
Illumi isn't obedient.
If Tsubone was able to recognize Illumi's lust for power and that deviates from an assassin, then Silva probably caught on to it too. I don't think Illumi isn't the heir because he has 'less potential' than Killua nor because he's not a transmuter with white hair. Illumi is very strong and a perfect assassin. I think when choosing the heir Silva is looking for two qualities: power, which Illumi clearly has, and obedience, which Illumi doesn't.
On the other hand, Silva has high hopes for Killua. He saw high potential and power, and orchestrated a scenario where Illumi would be blamed/resented for Killua's abuse while Silva gets to look like the cool dad that lets Killua go on adventures with his friends. Silva probably decided to take a different approach with Killua and used what he learned from raising Illumi. (i think Illumi and Silva's relationship is strained) Silva is very manipulative, and used what worked and what didn't to get Killua to respect him and eventually faithfully obey him. By the end of the election arc, Killua thinks otherwise. But the dynamics among the family member are very interesting!
In conclusion Anon, I agree! In fact, Illumi might already be Silva's worst nightmare :D

okay okay okay okay. I KNEW that the fight between Luffy and Usopp was going to be different from the rest of the show so far and I knew I was going to have thoughts about it but oh my god I did not expect it to FEEL so different. Like up to this point they have faced some fucked up people and had some serious fights, but the Strawhats themselves haven't really felt serious. This alone feels like it legitimized Luffy's captaincy and proved how the crew will trust and follow his decision making. (which is why I really really love Zoro's part in it because even Luffy was having a hard time doing this and Zoro told him he couldn't waver because if he did who could they trust? and I have so many feelings about that) Anyway, this was really the first incident related only to the crew themselves that has felt actually serious and I really appreciated that.

Hmm... I think actually one of the number one things to frustrate me is people trying to act like they know why I think something and what I think better than I do
Thankfully don't have to deal with that too often these days, have curated my experience on here enough to generally avoid people like that, but yeah
Like maybe let me tell you what I think and why instead of just having decided you've already figured it all out
