Jonathan Crane and Al Crane are distant cousins! Jonathan is a child of an affair, and was raised by his grandmother on his mom's side. He went by his maiden name "Keeny" until college where he switched his surname to "Crane". While they both grew up in Georgia, Al and Jonathan didn't get to actually meet each other until they both studied in Gotham College as roommates. People give them weird looks because they don't look related.

They get along! Al is one of the few family members Jonathan tolerates. Al eventually moves to Denver to be a bartender while Jonathan becomes a psychology professor in Gotham. They stay in touch. Al doesn't know anything about the Scarecrow stuff.

Ma'al jumped to an entirely different conclusion about their relationship.

Just a random ramble about a very specific stony thing that I think about waaaay to offten. I wanted to share the brain rot so here 😘

Tony is clearly very well groomed and probably is very into manscaping I feel (like I could see him even waxing down there for the thrill of it). He's also used to sleeping with women who are high society red carpet starlet types, so most likely very limited in the pubic hair area because America is weird about that.

Steve is from the 40s..... women shaving down there started growing in popularity because of bikinis and PlayBoy becoming more popular and mainstream (and that was in the later 40s). Anyway, it was not a common thing for guys. So Steve doesn't think about it. He does not care. He just has au natural full bush going on.

They sleep together for the first time, and Tony is kind of....suprised (like damn Steve welcome to the jungle much 😳) but he doesn't say anything of course because Tony's not an ass and is very open minded with sex.

Fast forward a few months when they are more comfortable with each other. One day, in just completely casual conversation like over breakfast or something, Tony's just like, "soooo.... have you ever heard of manscaping???"

aww well hey, that's almost dadhood anyway. except usually with a less drastic age gap, not having to experience the trauma of birth, a sense of competition, responsibility and resentment over the parentification and a lost childhood. and some sort of mutual guilt that comes with having useless parents and an unusual family structure.

lots of emotional tension and grief, but also a sense of understanding, like you just Get each other like no one else. like if no other relationship works out, if nobody else understands, you might end up experimenting with each other, because whatever, you were doomed from the start because your parents failed both of you... romantic!! incestuous comfort sex.
