Love Is Maddening
Reminiscing about their past meetings and the woman she grew into has Jack thinking maybe he is mad for wanting to see her one last time.
(I own nothing/Everything belongs to Disney. Coverart not mine and found on Pinterest. It's a bit au-ish but meh.)
Tumblr media
(WARNING: There will be mentioning of past death and some graphic scenes being described from the Alice in Wonderland movie.
I want to make this clear. The version of Alice used is from the live action movie Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton and the Alice in this story is an ADULT!! It is NOT based on the animated Wonderland movie. There is flashbacks of Alice and Jack first meeting as Kids since Alice in the Tim Burton movie had flashbacks of herself first stumbling into wonderland as a kid but ONLY because this is au-ish where they both met as kids. But again. THIS IS TIM BUTTON'S ADULT ALICE BEING SHIPPED WITH JACK!! I DON'T SUPPORT ANY OTHER ALICE BEING SHIPPED WITH THIS COUPLE!!)
It was maddening. Really it was.
He was another card. So not really a something that stood out even amongst the many other oddities and others that roamed this world. So what was he to do? Well there was the Queen in Red. She paid him the most attention to him as one of her guards even if his tricks often had her threatening to lope off his head or annoy others. Perhaps that's why child him was excited when he met another child around his age. He was just minding his own business when he crossed her path and she startled her. By jumping out of the bush and shoving his face into hers.
''Hey!" The blonde girl jumped and stumbled back landing on her behind as he laughed and stepped out of the bush. "Good thing I stopped you. Or else you would've stepped on the whatchamacallits."
The girl blinked and shook her blonde hair as she stared at the young boy in front of her. "...T-The what?"
"The whatchamacallits! Not to be confused for the whozeewhatzits," he explained as she just stared at him.
The girl still stared at him before frowning. "What?"
"Then again the whatchamacallits are a lot better looking than the whatchas." He smiled wider as she stood up dusting off her blue dress. "Not as friendly either so it's good for you I was here to warn you."
"What nonsense are you spouting?" She placed her hands on her hips and frowned more. "Who even are you?"
''Jack's the name. Not to be confused with Mr. Jack Of-All-Trades or Mr. Jack In-The-Box. Those are two completely different people!" She scrunched up her nose more confused. "And your name?"
"Alice. How do you do?"
"What?"
"What?.... What?"
"How do you do what?" He smiled wider. "I can do lots of things."
Alice, she said her name was, crossed her arms and looked at him. "Oh. More nonsense. Nevermind. I've met enough already. I'd much rather go on my way now."
She then stepped around him and started to walk but he followed. He's never seen another child around his age for a long time now. That caught his interest and the strange way she spoke. Maybe she'd play with him! She seemed annoyed when he leaned over to walk with her and look at her face. He giggled at the way her nose scrunched up like a rabbit's. She sure looked funny when she was annoyed.
"Whatcha doing?"
"I'm trying to find something."
"Things huh? Do you mean thingamajigs?"
She stopped to stare at him again. "What?"
"Thingamajigs! Not to be confused for their cousins thingamabobs! It's ok. They're quite often mistaken for one another so don't feel too bad. Hey! Do you wanna play a game?' He perked up excitedly at her. "Let's play a game! You can choose which one you want to play!"
The girl just..stared at him up and down for a long moment before gaining a thoughtful look and nodding at him. "Ok. Do you know how to play hide and seek?"
He lit up happily. "I'm the best hider AND seeker! Not to brag but I'm the best at sneaking around."
"Let's play hide and seek then." She pointed at him. "You count to a hundred and I'll go hide. Alright?"
He happily nodded in agreement and quickly covered his eyes and began to count as Alive quickly turned and ran as fast as her feet could carry her down the road and disappeared from sight. He had to admit, Alice was a good hider. He couldn't find her again until HOURS later when he found  her crossing the maze towards the Queen's Castle. Oh! He wasn't about to be bested as the seeker. So he followed right after however...he was too late. When he did find her again it was when the Queen was yelling for the young child and three other cards to be locked up until their heads could be loped off later for planting the wrong roses and then painting them all red. Hey! That wasn't Fair! He hasn't even been able to tell her that he found her yet.
Well that wouldn't do at all.
Luckily he knew this place like the back of a playing card. He was EASILY able to get inside and into the dungeons where he found one little girl in a cell. She didn't even see him until he reached between the bars and grabbed her shoulder making her shriek and whirl around to his laughing form.
"I found you! You're a good hider! Ok. Now it's my turn to count!," Jack excitedly smiled at her.
She panted a few times blinking before scowling. "You again? Go away!" She made shooing motions with her hands. "I don't have time for your nonsense! I need to get out before the Queen comes back and offs my head."
"Well...It wouldn't be fair if you didn't get your turn to find me." He giggled mischievously as a jingling of keys sounded and he held up a ring of them with a smile. "I also have tricks up my sleeve to show!"
He ended up sneaking her out and leading her to the very back of the castle. Letting her go with a smile.
"Ok. You go somewhere to count and then try to find me. I'm sure you will eventually.''
To be fair she did. Many years later. As the years went by Wonderland got more dangerous. The Red Queen crazier if that was possible. And Alice became an infamous name. Prophecy and all that that made the Queen madder and madder in both the crazy and angry sense of the word. He was surprised he managed to stay out of trouble so long. By now he expected to have his head chopped off and have it thrown in the pond with all her other alleged enemies or at the very least throw him in the dungeon or exile. But he was one of the lucky ones. And guess whom he happened to see in her castle years later after eating a growing cake and in a makeshift dress of curtains.
"Looks like you finally found me."
The tall blonde girl  just looked down at his mischievous look confused. "I'm sorry. Do I know you?"
He chuckled again at her. "You can say that I'm a better seeker than hider."
"Would you put that down?"
He hummed looking up from the magnifying glass he held up in front of his face in question snapping him out of memory lane. The quietness of the study was broken as the voice of the woman cut through. He hummed looking up at the source of the voice before smiling widely. The silence was only filled by the ticking of the clock behind her and the crackling of the fire in the fireplace that filled the study with warmth. The light danced across the shadows and lit up the place in the dark. It was a rather cozy room with many shelves of books, comfy chairs, and the desk with a giant map sprawled upon it.
"I was just looking. Working late tonight. Aren't you, Alice?"
The blonde woman only frowned and yanked the hourglass from his hand. "I'm helping chart a new route before I sail again. But somehow you always bother me whenever Im home." She gently placed the magnifying glass back onto the desk. "Why are you even here again? Shouldn't you be helping the White Queen?"
"Nah. I'm actually thinking about staying out of politics. Too messy of a business anyways."
Her brow rose. "And you think sitting in my chair and bothering me whenever possible is a good career shift?"
He shrugged before leaning back in the comfy chair. "What can I say? I find the Jabberwocky slayer a much more interesting person than most of the oddities in stark contrast. In some ways you're more unpredictable."
"Is that supposed to be a compliment or insult? Coming from you I can never tell."
He chuckled more as he rose a brow back. "So..I heard you turned down that marriage proposal from that man Ham."
"Hamish," she corrected him raising a brow as to why he'd bring that up. "Why do you bring up that topic?"
"Oh, no reason. I was just wondering if you'd were interested in playing another game with me. It's a question game?"  Her brow rose higher at him. "I ask one question and you give me an answer. Kinda like reverse truth and dare."
"....Alright. what kind of question did you have in mind?"
He smirked wider. "Would you marry me instead?"
He ended up laughing louder as she pushed him out of the comfy armchair with a red face.

Word count: 2.1k
Warnings: Weird relationship (it's Banda, a serial killer), Violence? (Still aib), potential spelling/grammar mistakes? And soft Banda idk, suggestive themes but no mature content
Summary: Banda Sunato takes his girl to the Jack of Hearts game and is impressed by her strength.
---------------------------------------
You were falling. A pit formed in your stomach from the suddden height difference you were experiencing and it left you wondering if this is what one of those attractions at the amusement park felt like. You only knew that people descibed it as moving down in the elevator and felt that this was indeed an accurate analogy.
You hadn’t willingly dropped youself off the edge of the building, but were trying to escape the other player who had tried to steal your key and you fiercly hoped Banda knew that as well. Well, you weren’t really in any danger anyway, you thought to yourself. Luck is always on your side, right?
And sure enough, your dress got caught by a street light hanging from the side of the building, which slowed down your fall. You threw a glance beneath you and sighed at the moment of impact. A convenient a trash container filled with soft trash bags allowed you to survive without a scratch again.
“Thanks”, you said out loud to no one in particular.
You looked around. Now the real issue is going to be trying to get out of the container and back into the building without touching the floor. Though you had faith in your unrealistic luck, you knew the rules of the game and were not going to test your luck either.
The main problem was that someone did take away the key that you had to find, meaning you had to find another one if you wanted to leave the premise alive again.
And just as you thought about it, a key fell into your lap. You couldn't help but laugh. Someone up there was really overdoing it huh. It's kind getting unfair at this point, you thought amusedly right before a rope dropped into your lap.
You looked up in surprise. “Sunato!” You happily exclaimed when you saw his head hanging out the window.
“There’s four minutes left, hurry up and tie it around your waist.”
“I knew I’d be fine,” was the first this that left your mouth when Banda pulled you inside through the window. His hands stayed in a firm grip around your wrist but he shrugged.
“I know. You wouldn’t leave me.” He stated in a whisper in your ear when he leaned in to undo the knot in the rope around your waist.
“Where did you get this new key from? Did you find it or steal it?” You couldn’t help but ask. He smiled. “Whichever makes you sleep better tonight.” He answered humorously, looking down on you. You swatted his chest with a frown.
“Not the old lady though, right?”
“No, that would upset you.” He reassured you.
You huffed and grabbed his hand. “You better know it.”
He lead you out the room the same way he got in. Across several chairs, a table, a matrass laying on the floor, a dead body that you recognised as the guy who stole your key, and then onto the handrail of the stairs to slide to the floor below.
You held your breath and pulled up your feet, careful to not let the strange synthetic material of the game-specific shoes go within an inch of the floor where you could see a sheen of red light of lasers.
You didn’t really know what this relationship was between you and Banda, you realised while walking away from the game venue in silence, still hand in hand with him. You were partners, as he called it. He’d made it pretty clear two months ago that you were to stay by his side because you were his. In return he kept his promise and introduced a variety of things to you. Lots of things happened in the past two months and despite everything, you stayed.
Even after getting the opportinity to leave when you were both taken to some warehouse by the brother of one of Banda’s victims in the real world. The unknown man had let you go after beating you up and ‘confirming’ that you were just Banda’s next victim. You’d played along, walking out with a relieved face and then came back with a gun. You weren’t planning on killing anyone, just wanted to scare them.
When Banda was released however, he had ripped the gun from your hands, turned you to face him to pull you into a kiss, and pulled the trigger. You’d been upset with him for a while and he'd sworn to you that he had only killed the guy for your sake.
Everything was for you. Killing the innocent lady because she was slowing everyone down, including you. Killing the two creepy men because he sensed that they made you uncomfortable. Killing the person that tried to stab him, not for attempted murder on him, because that person tried to take him away from you.
In a sick way, it made you feel safe and cared for. So of course you stayed. And though you weren’t sure of what your relationship with Banda was exactly, you were happy, you decided.
You were slumped half on top of him, your face in the crook of his neck. He had one arm wrapped around you while the other was drawing circles on your bare back. “Why is it so noisy outside?” you grumbled.
Gunshots? No, it's more... sparkly. After taking a moment to let your brain wake up as well, you sat up straight. “Is that firework?” You asked Banda, and glanced down at him to see that he was enjoying looking at your chest. You covered yourself with your arms and opened your mouth to repeat the question when he answered.
“Someone cleared the 10 of hearts game. They announced that the next stage of face cards will start at 12 noon tomorrow.” His eyes flickered across your face and he was pleased to note your excitement which matched his own.
You jumped up from the bed and ran to the window to admire the fireworks lighting up the sky. The view from this hightower apartment was perfect. “Sunato, do I get to pick the first game?” You asked and pleadingly looked at him.
He’d gotten up as well and was standing behind you, chest pressed to your back. “Which one interests you?” He asked before he dipped his head down to your neck to start a trail of kisses. His lips curled up in a smile when you responded.
“We could start with a jack of hearts.”
You slept until you heard loud bangs. This time it was gunshots for sure. Banda looked alert and you quickly slipped on a new unripped dress while Banda went to grab a knife from the kitchen. When you looked to your left, you saw a card move by. The king of spades?
You made the mistake of walking towards the window and looked out it. Before you could even register the enormous blimp moving past the building, you were met with a barrage of bullets.
Despite having closed your eyes, moved your arms in front of your face and having ducked, your eyes were stinging with pain.
Banda, who heard the gunshots, followed by your screams, ran in while avoiding bullets and grabbed you under your arms. He proceeded to practically drag you across the floor to another room.
Banda grabbed your face despite your whimpering. There was glass in your hair and you had gashes all over your face. Some were quite deep like the one across your eyelids with more pieces of glass stuck inside them. Blood was dripping from your wounds into your eyes.
He quickly scanned you up and down to check for bullet wounds andd when he found none, he shook his head in relief. He then chuckled. Despite everything, your dress was still spotless.
"My eyes feel like they're getting stabbed", you choked out.
Banda nodded, not that you'd be able to see it, and went to wipe your face clean as best as he could. The king of spades had stopped firing at the apartment. He probably moved on to find new targets.
Banda opened your eyes forcibly and saw that they were bloodshot. You jerked your head out of his grasp and clamped your eyes shut again.
The gash on your eyelid had reopened when you opened your eyes and blood started seeping into your eyes again.
"I'm going to wrap bandages around your head. Keep your eyes close." He instructed and you did as he told you. "It's going to be alright though, isn't it Sunato?" You asked, trying to get some reassurance.
"I'm not a doctor." He said. Well there goes faith.
Unbothered Banda continued. "We need to make way towards the jack of hearts venue. We'll be safe from the king of spades there."
You shook your head. "I can't see though, I'm going to be a bother." You felt him grasp your hand and he pulled you up.
"I promised you that you're safe with me. Trust me." He said. "This just makes things more interesting, alright?"
You thought about it for a moment. "Well if you put it like that," you laughed. "I guess you're right. It's a new experience for sure."
Banda sqeezed your hand in agreement and as if to say he was impressed by your ability to stay strong. Your hold onto his hand tightened as he lead you to the streets in the direction of the blimp wiith the jack of hearts card.
Even though you'd seen death before and weren't nearly as bothered by it as you should be, he found comfort in the fact that you couldn't see the scattered bodies across the street.
"Are we there?" you asked. The two of you had stopped walking. "What does it look like."
"It's a prison. This will make for an interesting game." He said and you could hear him smirk. Banda pulled you along. "Let's go."
The voice registered you two entering and started giving out instructions. Despite the bandages that covered your eyes, the phone was still able to go through with facial recognition.
With the collars in place, you and Banda moved up to the central area.
"Guess the suit on the back of your collar after each round." The voice explained and you whipped your head into Banda's direction. "I will try to open my eyes and tell you your suit." You immediately said to him.
"No". He immediately interjected. "It's going to be fine. You're a human lucky charm after all."
You nodded your head and listened to the rest of the explainations of the game. When it ended, people immediately started to group up and you were starting to get anxious again. How was Banda going to guess his suit correctly?
Just as you were stressing about it, a voice behind you interrupted your thought process.
"She can't tell you your suit so I'll tell you yours if you tell me mine."
You frowned and were about to ask him who he thinks he is for adressing Banda so directly and impolitely, but Banda spoke up before you could.
He let go of your hand and stepped forwards to what you guessed was the new guy. Though you disliked the guy's tone, you hoped Banda would accept his help as he needed someone to tell him his suit. You released your breath when he did.
Banda introduced you as his partner and the guy introduced himself as Matsushita. They told you your suit and started to tell eachother their suits.
"I'm going to get something to eat" you announced and put a few steps into a random direction when you realised you had no idea where you were walking to. It had been a while since you've been this helpless, you thought to yourself bitterly. So when Banda put his hand on your lower back to guide you, you snapped at him. Annoyed because it reminded you of your life before the borderlands. Always men in suits guiding you back inside the building, watching your every move.
"I'm sorry Sunato" you immediately apologized afterwards. "I wanna go on my own." You explained and he seeemed to understand. "Follow the wall to your left. Keep going straight." He simply replied. You nodded and walked off.
"These cookies are really good." You heard coming from beside you. You hadn't realised you sat down at a table next to someone else. You felt the stranger push a package of cookies in your hand.
"Thanks." You said, gratefully.
Thinking about it, you hadn't actually conversed with anyone in the past month except for Banda.
You nodded his way as a thank you and got up. Before you could leave the room, he called after you. "You should disinfect those wounds. Wash out your eyes and get rid of the glass. It's also better not to cover your eyes with a bandage, let it breathe." Chishiya didn't know why he said that. Maybe because you seemed familiar. He'd ponder about that one for a while.
You followed his advise and had Banda help you. It benefited you to walk around without bandages because you were able to discern light and dark.
When the hour passed, Banda walked you to a cell. "Sunato" you called to him. "See you in a moment." You felt a pat on your head in response.
"Well then, please state your suit."
You sighed relaxedly. You trusted Banda so this was easy for you. "Diamond."
For a second nothing happened and then the door behind you buzzed. You stepped back, stumbled over your own feet and fell the the floor. "Fuck" you whispered as you got up and hopped on your right leg while you clutched your left ankle.
The door behind you was ripped open. Before you could turn around and ask who it was, you felt Banda hold you. His heart was beating fast and you realised you must've worried him by not exiting immediately.
"I knew I'd be fine." You said and turned around to him. "You wouldn't leave me."
Banda grabbed you by your neck, pressed his lips against yours aggressively and pushed you against the wall, his other hand on the back of your head to brace the impact.
You reciprocated the kiss and wrapped your arms around him, while his moved and lifted your dress up. His hands roamed your body and finally settled on your sides, pressing himself against you.
Matsushita had seen Banda rush in your cell and was now patiently waiting outside for the both of you. He jumped at the sounds that came from inside, and when he looked through the small gap in the door which confirmed his suspicions, his eyes widened before immediately averting them and hurrying away.
'So they're partner-partners', he thought to himself, and he shook his head, trying to shake the image away.

Lie that kills~
(Banda sunato x reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings:Blood,violence,you murder someone
——————————————————————————————————
,,Game:Solitary Confinement. Difficulty Level:Jack of Hearts”. That was what the computer voice told you. With a collar around your neck. You searched for a “trustful”partner. Heart games were not your favourite because you play with people’s hearts. That’s why you didn’t team up with Chishiya, he betrayed you in the beach and you had to take the consequences. You noticed a man, he was coming to you and seemed angry. ,,Tell me my symbol or else I might must my hands on you!”,the man spoke with a false soft voice. You shake your head not wanting to answer him. The man didn’t liked is and grabs your neck:,,You will answer me or else..”. He trows you on the floor. You began to trow up blood. Suddenly you feel a hand around your stomach. ,,Tell him he’s a club”,a soft voice whispers in your ear. You look at me who’s waiting for an answer and say:,, You’re a…club”.
(Timeskip: 1 hour)
You go into your cell. ,,Please tell your symbol”. You look up and say:,,Heart”.
BANG!
Your shakes as your heard the explosion from another cell. You know who it was. And really. On the survival board weren’t the man you lied to. ,,You’re killed him trough my help”, you turn and see the man with the black hair and blue overall who told you the lie for the man. ,, I’m Banda Sunato. Let’s be friends”.

I think the librarian could be important in acftl. He looks like he knows things and judging by what he said to Evangeline in tbona he knew the Valors were inside the arch. So, if he knew, there's either a group lf people who knew the truth or he was alive when the Valors were imprisoned. In that case, how old is this man????
The librarian has to be a thousands years old, maybe even older than the Age of the Valors. He knows a lot of things that he can't exactly say without being affected by the story curse.
It makes me wonder if he's the original storyteller since he knows everything that's to come like Evangeline's prophecy and the possible return of the Valors.
It's very interesting. I hope to see more of this librarian 👀🧙‍♂️

Chishiya Fic pt2
Here's pt2, rly cranked it out there. Also on request from my same friend. Here's pt1 if u havent seen it
------------------------------------------------
Chishiya x gn!reader
“Hearts. Just had to pick hearts.” (y/n) grumbled, avoiding looking at Chishiya.
“Hey, you said you didn’t want to get blown up.” Chishiya shrugged, scanning the forming group within the prison.
“Hearts is the one game I’m not good at. You saw me during the ten of hearts! I was a mess!”
“Wasn’t that bad.” Chishiya laughed a tiny bit smug, eyes trailing the way his partner paced back and forth.
(y/n) calmed down as more people entered, trying to not bring attention to them and flipping his hood up.
“Game: Solitary Confinement. Rules: Every round is an hour, at the end of a round you must step into one of the cells and guess your suit. If you guess incorrectly, the collar around your neck explodes. To clear: Kill the Jack. There are plenty of snacks and drinks.” The robotic voice explained.
“The Jack?” (y/n) asked.
“This game could last for days.” Chishiya muttered, glancing at his friend.
“We can win by just telling each other the suits! Quick, what’s mine?” A guy asked, turning so his neck could be shown to a person next to him.
“This is a game of trust. We won’t know who’s telling the truth if we play like that. And the game won’t end unless someone lies to the Jack.” A elegant looking business man explained. At that, everyone started silently grouping, cautious of one another. A boy who looked kind of like a minion or El Chavo approached (y/n) and Chishiya.
“I’m Ippei Oki.” He said, bowing to the two. “Can I…group up with you two?”
(y/n) glanced at Chishiya who smiled and nodded, keeping his hands in his pockets.
A large group started forming and instantly, (y/n) did not like it. They thought that the girl leading the group was too cheerful for such a dark game. They glanced over at Chishiya who looked at the level below them, seemingly observing two other players.
“Do you want to join us?” Some scared looking people walked over and asked the now trio.
“N-”
“Sure.” (y/n) glared at Chishiya who looked over at them and winked. (y/n) blushed and looked away. The group thanked them and the round continued.
“Heart.” Chishiya told (y/n).
“Diamond.” They replied.
The round went smoothly, no one died until the second round. (y/n) was downstairs getting snacks, finding some delicious biscuits, and returned after the scary guy had been lied to. After making their guesses, (y/n) flinched as a loud explosion sounded next to them. Exiting the cell, they peeked in and found the bloody mess that was the big scary guy. Everyone else became more cautious and heightened. More and more people started lying and dying, but (y/n), Chishiya, and Ippei remained silent even within their own group. They were downstairs in the cafeteria together and (y/n) handed Chishiya a bag of the biscuits.
“I think we should eliminate that kid.” The girl, Urumi, suggested when they had walked off to get a drink.
“Why?” Ippei asked, a little nervous.
“I don’t trust them. They have a kind of…attitude.” She hummed, eating her snack. Chishiya pressed his lips, cautiously watching his friend.
“(y/n).” He approached the kid later. “Urumi and the others plan to lie to you.”
“Oh? Well, isn’t that just lovely.” (y/n) sighed. “You won’t, right?”
Chishiya smiled, nodding and (y/n) turned around. “Spade.” Chishiya said.
“Thanks.” (y/n) held up a fist for a fistbump and Chishiya reciprocated.
When the guesses were made, (y/n) closed their eyes tight, hoping that Chishiya really hadn’t lied as the rest of the group had told them Club.
Nothing happened and they walked out clean. With a shrug, they walked past the members of the group. They remained distant, with Ippei and Chishiya mostly relying on each other while Chishiya helped (y/n).
“These biscuits are good.” They said, just after Urumi was killed.
“Did you eat them in the real world?” Chishiya asked, stealing a couple.
“Nope. I didn’t even know they existed.” (y/n) smiled, wiping some crumbs off the corner of their mouth.
“I think Urumi was mad up until she died that you didn’t.” Chishiya hummed, looking at the last two of the original group. They were crying and quite obviously lying to one another.
“It’s amazing how quickly people can lose faith in one another.” (y/n) hummed, drinking some of the green tea they had in a bottle.
“Just shows how fragile humans are.” Chishiya replied. He stood up and walked past (y/n), patting the kid on the head as he passed. (y/n) froze, going bright red before choking on a biscuit.
“Ooh, you’re crushing?” Ippei asked, walking over after a minute.
“Shut up! No I’m not!” (y/n) denied. Ippei just laughed. They calmed down and sat in silence for a moment.
“I’m getting tired of this. Watching people betray each other because of a deadly game. I shouldn’t have made it this far to begin with.” Ippei smiled sadly, looking at the floor.
“Hey, come on, we can get through this.” (y/n) said, trying to get him to cheer up.
“During the next guess, I’m going to guess wrong. I don’t want to keep risking everything for these games.” Ippei looked at his newfound friend who looked back with creased eyebrows and a disheartened expression.
“Ending on a heart, befitting.” (y/n) smiled but it was obviously forced. It seemed as though they were just trying to lighten the mood.
After their guessing round, (y/n) walked out and bumped into the boy with hair in his eyes. He reminded the kid of those angsty teens stereotyped in shows and movies. His nervous nature and the hair all fit.
“Hey.” They said but the boy didn’t stop. “Matsushita, right?” The boy paused and (y/n) smiled. “You’ve been real quiet. Your friend was the first one to have someone killed, yeah? What’s his name?”
“Banda. And I don’t know. I wasn’t there.” Matsushita didn’t turn around completely, just kind of looking to the side over his shoulder. Four other doors opened and out walked the remaining players. Chishiya, Yaba, Kotoko, and Banda. They all seemed to stare at (y/n).
“What’s with those looks?” They asked, confused. Chishiya nodded to the unopened cell beside them and they glanced in. “Oh.”
“Ippei was too pure-hearted for this game.” Chishiya clicked his tongue. He walked off past the group. Everyone else continued looking at (y/n) who felt next to naked under all their gazes. None of them had really seen them talk to Chishiya so everyone believed the kid was all alone. They laughed nervously before walking off towards the cafeteria.
“Everyone thinks you killed him.” Chishiya rounded the corner, munching on some of the biscuits.
“I know. Ugh, now how are we supposed to win?” They asked, grabbing a box of mint pocky.
“Those are so gross.” Chishiya snickered, looking at the package.
“Shut up. What’s the plan now?” (y/n) asked.
“Well, I think they think we’re both alone now. I’ll lurk down here and try to get someone to spill, maybe intimidate Matsushita a bit about Banda and try to get Kotoko to talk to me. You will stay away from here. I’ll tell you your suit now so you won’t have to worry about getting it later.” (y/n) nodded, turning around. “Spade.”
“Turn around-”
“No, I want to see if I can get the others to tell me.” Chishiya smiled.
“But-” They were cut off by a biscuit being shoved in their mouth and receiving a little peck on the head. They started turning bright red.
“Don’t worry, I’m good at guessing games. Now go, someone is going to come down soon.” Chishiya nodded towards the stairs and (y/n) walked off.
Sure enough, the last round went smoothly. (y/n) pretty much hid in the corner, trying to keep themself busy while avoiding everyone.
“Planning to die?” Yaba asked, approaching them in the last twenty minutes.
“Yeah. Kinda no point if my buddy is dead.” They shrugged.
“I’ll tell you your suit if you tell me who you think the Jack is.” Yaba offered.
“Hmm, I’ll tell you that for free.” (y/n) offered, smiling and tapping his cheek.
Yaba laughed. “Ok, sure. I think it’s that boy you first arrived with. The one that abandoned you after your group tried to kill you.”
“Oh? Nah, if anything he’d probably be the king of diamonds. I really think it’s that boy Matsushita. He’s just…really off.” They answered, standing up and stretching. “If you were a face card, which would you be? I think I’d be one of the spades cards. Probably the Jack.”
“I’d like to be…the Jack of hearts.” Yaba smiled, tilting his head just a bit.
“That’s cool, you’d probably be really good at it.” The voice announced the guessing time, interrupting the conversation. “Well, good luck.” (y/n) got up and walked away, entering a cell.
The countdown began and they announced with a smile, “Spade.” Time ran out and only one explosion went off. After a few minutes, they heard an echo down the hall, like someone was laughing.
“Oh, guess it really was Matsushita. Aw and I wanted him to be the nice one.” (y/n) sighed, walking out after another few minutes. They followed the voices and ended up on the same floor as Chishiya, waving down at him. Chishiya waved back and continued talking. The two walked out of the prison together, only pausing when the explosion of the blimp came from behind him.
“Well, that was fun. What’s next?” (y/n) asked, Chishiya just laughed and pulled out a stolen pack of the biscuits.

Like A Fairy Tale
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Fem!Reader
Summary: Dating Bucky Barnes had been like living a fairy tale, but as he distances himself from you and your relationship, you come to the realization that maybe fairy tales aren't meant to come true.
Warnings: Language to make Steve blush, mentions of alcohol use, implied sex, angst with a happy ending.
Word Count: 3.4k This is my very first posted fic, and I am very nervous but I hope you like it! If I've missed any warnings, please tell me so I can add them. Much love and thanks to my bestie @jmeelee for indulging my obsession and dropping everything to read this when I sent it to her <3 Please pardon any spelling/grammar errors. I write for 18+, so minors DNI. _____________________________________________________________
Once upon a time, being Bucky Barnes’ girl had felt like living in a fairy tale. He was everything your younger self had ever dared to dream of in a Prince Charming– attentive, affectionate, kind, and oh, how he made you laugh! You were the envy of all of your friends, the very definition of #couplegoals, and you thanked your lucky stars every night that the two of you had found one another, despite all the odds.
But fairy tales aren’t real.
You weren’t sure exactly when it started, but somewhere in the third year of your relationship, after you’d moved into a handsome brownstone in Brooklyn together, after you’d adopted a fluffy white kitten, Bucky started pulling away from you. The steps that took him from you were small at first– he was taking on more and more missions, opting to stay gone for longer periods of time. Days would go by, and they’d turn into weeks, then a month or two at a time would go by where you wouldn’t see him.
At first, it hadn’t been terrible– Bucky had always made sure to contact you each and every day. A video call whenever he could, a phone call or text when he couldn’t, but slowly, so slowly you barely noticed, the calls stopped coming all together. Sure, he’d answer when you called him… when he could, which wasn’t always possible on a mission, and you hated acting needy and taking him away from his work, so eventually, you stopped reaching out, too.
When he was home, you were like ships passing in the night. You always offered to take time off of work so you could spend some time with him before he was set to head out again, but he never wanted you to jeopardize your career on his account. Your reunions would always be passionate, but short-lived, a few hot and heavy nights before he took off once more to save the world.
You tried not to let it bother you. You really, really did. His job was so important. People’s lives relied on him. Where did you get off getting upset over that? So, you kept it to yourself. Until you couldn’t. Not any more.
“Y/N,” your best friend, Lainy, cornered you at her annual New Year’s Eve party, “where’s Barnes? He’s been leaving you to go solo for months now. I don’t think I’ve seen you with him since Mark’s St. Patrick’s Day Party.”
Ouch. “He’s working, Lainy,” you told her, not wanting to admit that March had been the last time the two of you had gone out together, let alone spent more than three days in a row in each other’s company.
“Yeah, he was ‘working’ over the Memorial Day trip, and the 4th of July BBQ, and Jack and Alice’s wedding, and your aunt’s funeral.” You cringed internally as she applied air quotes to ‘working.’ “And he was ‘working’ on your birthday, and Christmas. Babe, he’s been leaving you alone for almost an entire year. What’s going on? Are you sure there isn’t someone else?”
The worst part was, you knew there wasn’t, or at least, no one individual. When he’d first started distancing himself, of course another woman was the first thing that came to your mind, and you weren’t proud of yourself, but you’d gone through his phone to search for evidence of an affair… multiple times, and repeatedly came up with nothing. And bless Bucky’s heart, but he didn’t have the technological know-how to hide an infidelity from you. Granted, that didn’t negate the possibility that he was randomly hooking up with people while he was away. You’d have to be stupid to not consider the possibility.
You could have asked Steve. You didn’t think Captain America had it in him to lie to you about something like that, but you didn’t want him reporting on your suspicions back to Bucky, nor did you think you could stand to see the look of pity in his eye if he had to tell you that yes, Bucky was cheating on you while you anxiously awaited his return every night. So, you kept the suspicions to yourself.
Your conversation with Lainy had left you deflated. Here it was New Year’s Eve, and you were alone, the man you loved god knew where– just not with you. How many more holidays and milestones and everyday nights were you going to spend by yourself, waiting for a man who never seemed to want to be home with you anymore? This wasn’t the kind of life you wanted, the kind of life you deserved.
You made your way to the kitchen to refill your glass of wine. You’d probably already had too many, but you needed to drown the despair that was slowly filling you up. As you poured an exceptionally generous glass, a man entered the kitchen. You recognized him– Harris, a cousin of Lainy’s who had flirted with you relentlessly for years before you had started seeing Bucky.
“Y/N!” he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up upon seeing you, “it’s been awhile.” He enveloped you in a friendly hug. “How’ve you been?”
You smiled and exchanged pleasantries, catching up on the overall brushstrokes of your life.
“I’m sorry about your breakup,” he offered gently, after you’d exhausted the usual small talk.
“My breakup?” you asked, brow piqued.
“Last few events I’ve seen you at, you’ve been alone. I assumed you and Barnes…” he left the thought floating, the implication hanging in the air: Barnes has left you alone, I assumed you broke up.
You huffed out a laugh. God. Was your relationship actually over and you were the only one dumb enough to not see it?
“If you aren’t seeing anyone,” Harris continued, “I would really love to take you out. You’ve gotta know I’ve been into you for ages, and I figure if I don’t shoot my shot now, who knows when I’ll have another chance.”
You cocked your head and looked at him, taking in his earnest demeanor. Here was a man who genuinely wanted to spend time with you. Why were you waiting on someone who no longer wanted to be around?
“Um, I might have to get back to you on that, Harris,” you told him before excusing yourself. You needed air.
You found yourself on Lainy’s balcony, the air deceptively mild for the end of December in Manhattan. Alone with your thoughts, you pulled out your phone and dialed Bucky’s number. It went straight to voicemail.
“Someone asked me out on a date tonight,” you said into the recording, your voice choked with tears you didn’t want to shed. “And I think I might say yes, because, honestly Buck, what are we even doing anymore? You’re never here, and I’m always alone. I tried. I tried so fucking hard to not let it get to me, because your work’s important. I know that. I do, and I’m not begrudging you for your job. But… but I can’t keep on like this. I can’t even remember the last time we spent more than three days together. Isn’t that crazy? Three days. Everyone thinks you’re cheating on me. Did you know that? You’re away so much that everyone I know is convinced you’re fucking someone else. Maybe you are, or maybe you already left me, but I’ve been too stupid to notice; if that’s the case, you could have just told me.”
You kept your composure as you left the message. You weren’t angry at him; you never could be. You were just tired. So tired, and so lonely.
“All I know is that it’s another night where I’m all by myself, wishing you were here, wanting to talk to you, to feel you, and you’re just… not. You’re off doing something, or someone, more important than me, and I used to be okay with that, but I can’t be anymore. I deserve more than waiting on you, Buck. I deserve to be someone’s priority. I really wish I could have been yours, the way you were mine.
“So, let’s just call it, okay? Your heart’s obviously not in it anymore, and mine is too tired of being hurt and alone. We’ll have to figure out what to do about the house. I’m keeping Alpine, though. You haven’t been here for her, either, and it wouldn’t be fair of you to take her if you’re never going to be around.”
Inside, you could hear the rest of the party as they counted down to midnight. When they reached zero, the night erupted in fireworks, and you could hear cheers and cars honking their horns throughout the city below you.
“Huh,” you said into your phone, “it’s midnight. Happy New Year, Buck. I hope it ends up being a good one for you, and I’m sorry for whatever I did that made you decide you didn’t want to spend this last one with me.”
You hung up the phone and the tears finally fell as you slid down the balcony railing until you were crouched on the floor. You weren’t sure how long you sat there crying, but eventually Lainy found you, wrapping a blanket around your shoulders and ushering you into her spare room. She helped you change out of your cocktail dress and into a spare pair of pajamas, and helped you wash your face before tucking you into bed. She left you with a glass of water and a kiss on the forehead, promising that tomorrow would be better, that the next best chapter of your life was about to begin, but as you drifted into a fitful sleep, you couldn’t find the will to believe her.
You woke the next morning with a throbbing headache, the alcohol and the tears doing nothing but dehydrating you into agony. You grabbed your phone to check the time, but the battery had died in the night. From the slant of the sun coming in from the guest room window, it looked to be late morning or early afternoon.
You changed back into your dress, thanking Lainy for her help and making a small joke about doing the walk of shame in your clothes from the night before. You avoided her questions about what had happened, promising to go over it at length at the weekend after you’d had some time to process. You weren’t in the best headspace to get into at the moment.
Fortunately, your best friend knew you well enough not to pry, and you said your goodbyes, plans for brunch on Sunday having been made. You weren’t eager to get back home, to be surrounded by reminders of Bucky, when all you wanted was the man, himself. But he was your ex-boyfriend now, you supposed. You were going to have to come to terms with that sooner than later. Besides, Alpine needed to be fed, and you weren’t going to abandon her.
Your keys clicked in the lock as you opened your front door. “Al, baby,” you called, kicking off your heels and closing the door behind you, “Mommy’s home. You hungry, sweetie?”
You began making your way back toward the kitchen when a loud crash from upstairs got your attention. You rolled your eyes; what had the cat knocked over now?
But then there was the roar of a body barreling down the upstairs hall and toward the stairs, leaving you frozen where you stood. You cast a glance to where you’d left your phone in your purse by the door. Too far away to reach in time to call for help as the intruder came pounding down the stairs.
A massive figure rounded the corner, nearly knocking you over.
“Bucky?” You blinked, sure your eyes were playing tricks on you, but no– there he stood, and he looked like shit. He looked like he hadn’t slept in days, and his eyes were swollen and red-rimmed. He’d obviously been wearing the same clothing for at least a day, if not more.
“Y/N,” he breathed, throwing his arms around you and wrapping you in an almost bone-crushing embrace. “Sweetheart, I was so worried.”
“What are you doing here, Buck?” you asked him, pulling away from him. God, you wanted to let him hold you, but you just couldn’t. Not anymore.
Bucky cupped your face in his hands, blue eyes desperately searching yours. “I got your message. Doll, it fucking broke my heart. I came straight home, but you weren’t here, and I was terrified that you were gone; that you’d left me for good.”
You scoffed. “I’m not the one who leaves, Bucky.”
He flinched at your words. “I know, Baby. I know, and ’m so sorry. I had no idea. I shoulda known what leavin’ you so much was doin’ to you, ‘cause it was doin’ it to me, too. When I heard you say that people– that you– thought I was cheating on you, that I had neglected you so much you thought I found someone else, that I could ever love anyone else, ever want anyone else– I’ve never hated myself more, doll. I can’t stand that you even had those thoughts in your head for one second, because it’s always been you. There’s never been anyone else. You’re it.”
“Then why have you been gone?” you asked him in a whisper. “If there’s no one else, and I’m it, why don’t you ever want to be with me? Why do you keep leaving?”
Bucky ran both his hands along his face. “God, it feels so stupid now,” he said with a sigh. “But I was trying to save–”
“Trying to save the world, yeah, I know,” you interrupted him, annoyed. “Trust me, I’m well aware that I can’t compete with that. But I needed to know you thought we were worth saving, too, and you never did.”
Bucky started laughing then, and you scoffed. “Wow, you don’t have to rub it in, Bucky.”
“No, no– Sweetheart, no!” he shook his head. “That’s not it, at all. Hold on.” He went to the foyer and grabbed his go-bag; you had missed it when you walked in. Coming back to the kitchen, he put it on the table, opening it up and extracting a folded piece of paper and handing it to you.
It was a real estate listing for a farmhouse Upstate, with acreage on the Hudson. You and Bucky had talked about what kind of house you would buy if the situation had ever presented itself, and it was almost as if you’d dreamed it up.
You looked from the paper back to Bucky. “I don’t understand,” you told him.
“It needs pretty extensive renovations,” he told you. “I wanted to take on enough overtime to have the money for them and make a good dent on the mortgage, but it needed more work than I originally thought. And, I have to come clean– I haven’t been one hundred percent honest with you about where I’ve been spending all my time.” He looked up at you through his lashes, head bent down in shame.
“But… but, you said there wasn’t anyone else,” you stammered, heart ready to beat out of your chest.
“Oh god! No, and I mean that! There isn’t, I swear! God, I’ve fucked this up so bad!” Bucky tugged at his hair in frustration. “I’ve been going on extra missions, but sometimes, Sam, Steve, and I go Upstate to do some work on the house, to cut down the costs so I could still make my timeline.”
“You already bought it?” you asked, your voice flat. You were in shock. “You want to move out? Away from me?”
Bucky moaned in distress and drew you to him again. “No! God, I’m doing this all wrong. I want us to move there, together. To make it the perfect house. The perfect home for me, my wife and our stupid fur baby.”
You stilled at his words. “I’m sorry, your what?”
Bucky smiled at you sheepishly as he reached back into his go-bag. “I’ll have you know that I had an entire plan. Was gonna have the house ready by Valentine’s Day. Take you up there as a surprise, ask you properly, but I fucked that up, so…” He brought his hand back out, holding a small burgundy velvet box. He opened it to reveal a vintage engagement ring, a sapphire instead of a diamond. Your favorite stone.
Bucky got down on one knee. “Y/N,” he began as his voice choked up a bit with emotion, “I know I fucked up for the last eight months. I would completely understand if you can’t forgive me, but I need you to know that I love you. I have only ever loved you, and if you let me, I will spend the rest of my life making up for the fact that, even for a moment, I let you think that you weren’t the most important thing in my life, my number one priority. Will you marry me?”
“Buck…” you began, not sure how to phrase what you were about to say. “What about your job? I can’t keep coming in second to the rest of the world, and I get that it’s selfish of me, but–”
“I quit,” he said simply.
“What?” Your eyes were wide with shock at his statement.
“The second I heard your voicemail, where you said you wanted to call it because I was never there, I told Steve I was done, that I needed to start putting you first. It wasn’t even a question. I’m officially retired.”
Your mouth hung open. You had hoped he would cut down on his missions, but for him to have quit completely… You gently tugged him to his feet, taking the ring box and running a finger across it.
“It’s lovely,” you told him softly. “Absolutely perfect; exactly what I would have picked for myself.” Bucky beamed at you, pleased. “But I can’t accept it.” His face fell as you gently placed the ring back in his hands.
“Oh,” he whispered, eyes growing glassy. “I… um, I understand. I fucked up, hurt you. I understand if you don’t want to be with me anymore.”
“I still want to be with you, you idiot,” you admonished him. “But you did hurt me, and we’ve been apart for a long time. We need time to find our way back to each other again, okay? Ask me again on Valentine’s Day, just like you originally planned. Don’t do it now just because you fucked up.” You leaned up on your tip toes and kissed him. “And if it helps make you feel better, I’m probably going to say ‘yes,’ anyway.”
Bucky grinned at you. “Really?” he asked. When you nodded, he picked you up and spun you in  a circle before pressing his lips to yours as if he hadn’t touched you in months. “I promise you, Sweetheart, I’ll do anything I can to make this up to you, I swear it.”
“Anything?” you asked with a smile. “I think I know where you can start.”
“Oh yeah?” he asked you. “And where’s that?”
“Take me to bed, Bucky Barnes,” you said, kissing him again.
Without a word, Bucky swung you over his shoulder and ran with you up the stairs, your squeals and giggles echoing behind him.
Much, much later, when you lay sated together tangled in limbs and sheets with Alpine snuggled next to your heads, Bucky played with your fingers as you rested your head on his bare chest.
“So, Doll,” he said, kissing the pads of each of your fingers, “you gonna tell me who had the nerve to ask my girl out on a date?”
You laughed. “Lainy’s cousin, Harris. I suppose I’ll have to text him now and tell him I’m not interested.”
“Hell no, you’re not interested,” Bucky chuffed. “Gonna have to remind that punk you’ve already got a boyfriend. The position has been filled.”
“That’s the thing, though,” you said, planting a kiss on his nose. “I don’t have a boyfriend anymore, do I?”
Bucky’s face fell. “But I thought you said–”
“I’ve got myself a fiance.”
Bucky tightened his grip around you, drawing you even closer to his warmth. “Yeah, okay. I gotta admit I like the sound of that a lot better.”
Your entire relationship with Bucky Barnes might not have played out like a fairy tale, but in that moment, you were more sure than ever that you two would get your happily ever after.

heyy bambi i was wondering if i could request tasm!peter x reader where she’s grumpy and he’s sunshine with her getting jealous and not wanting to say anything so she just pouts and he thinks it’s so cute cause reader has nothing to worry about 🥹
hi friend loved this concept...however i can only bring myself to write frat tasm peter so that is incorporated into this plot because it's just fitting. hope you love it.
Love on the Brain
Frat!Peter x Reader
(in place of liking?hearting this post, pretty please, leave a reblog and/or a comment 🫶🏼)
Tumblr media
This had been the flashiest frat party of the year by far. Even flashier than the one you and your friends had stumbled into six months ago, where you first met Peter Parker. Now Peter Parker had entangled himself in every sense of your life, like the spider he was. Everyone was dressed in some type of couples get up. Groups of friends having picked out group costumes, or couples having picked out iconic couple costumes. Which is what made you pissed off even more as the brunette dressed in a heart pink dress with a heart logo on it, grasped your boyfriend's arm. Peter’s eyes widened, very interested in her story not at all paying attention to the care-bear girl petting his bicep.
You two were very clearly dressed in a couples costume, both having walked down the stairs in a 1950’s get-up mocking that of Jack and Alice from Don’t Worry Darling. Besides that, everyone knew Peter Parker had a girlfriend, a girlfriend who was pretty territorial.
“He only has eyes for you.” M.J. approached you with two drinks in hand Harry in tow. The two dressed as Fred and Daphne from Scooby-Doo. She pushed the vodka sprite into your hand, eyes peering into you.
“I know. And I have eyes for her right now, just not the ones she wants.”
“He’s so oblivious.”
Harry laughed watching his friend, nodding his head answering the chemistry question thrown at him. “How’d you even get him to catch on that you liked him?”
“Didn’t have too he liked me first.” You shrugged sitting your drink down, leaning against the table of snacks where Peter had left you before being cornered.
“She’s not even one of the original care-bears.” M.J. shook her head. Peter finally pulled his eyes away from her, finding you in the crowd. Warmth and relief washed over you, but apparently not your face as Peter pointed your way talking to the girl. She huffed, dropping her hand shooting daggers at you. You bit back a smile, but your walls cracked as Peter walked over engulfing you in his arms.
“What’s the long face for mhm?” Peter teases.
“This is just my face.” You said dropping the smile again quickly.
“Mhm, is someone jealous? Mhm” Peter teased, rubbing his nose against your forehead, teasing you.
“No, of course not. You know where you’re taken care of.”
You whisper, fixing the tie, you’d put it around his neck earlier. You were insanely green on the inside, and it only filled more when you caught her and a girl in a blue dress pointing your way mumbling something about “bitch.” Your bottom lip pulled inward, biting down on it as you thought.
“You know it’s okay to get jealous. It’s healthy, good for a relationship. Shows we still got something, if you weren’t jealous..well baby I think I’d be a little offended.”
“Do you get jealous?” You deflected away from yourself, hands resting on his shoulders. Peter laughed and tilted his head.
“..’Course I get jealous baby. Why do you think I’m always hanging on you on these things? I gotta show we are both taken. These guys have wandering eyes and I don’t really like that.”
His words made you feel better, him bringing his lips down to your cheek and to the corner of your mouth. You smiled at him, locking your lips with him, hands squeezing his shoulders. “I love you.”
“I love you too baby, promise.” Peter says pecking your forehead. “Now let's go make fun of Harry and that dumbass ascot.” Peter says, taking a drink out of your cup, pointing at Harry who turned already anticipating the loving ridicule.

May we have a story about Jack's clingy side and uses his puppy dog eyes to make MC to cuddle with him longer? (He uses the puppy dog eyes whenever he wants something and it works 100% of the time) Jack kind of reminds me of a giant puppy.
I love this idea! Jack definitely knows how to channel puppy energy to his advantage, and my MC Alice definitely falls for it every time.
In fact, I love this idea so much that it inspired me to turn it into a quick writing prompt. I also remembered that I owe everyone a nice little Jack x reader fic from the poll I made last year, so I wrote this writing exercise in 1st person gender neutral perspective.
So here it is, just a short but sweet first draft story about clingy Jack giving his sunshine some puppy dog eyes and pleading to get a bit more cuddle time. I don't think any real warnings apply, though it does get a little suggestive. Also, I think this might count as GrovelCore?
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my writing, and consider leaving a comment please!💕

...
It was nice to have moments like this, just the two of us on the couch cuddled up together. The way Jack wrapped me up in his big, strong arms made me feel so safe, so content. Even though I was tucked comfortably in his lap, he practically surrounded me with his warmth. It was the perfect way to spend a day off from work.
The show on TV was entertaining, but it wasn’t enough to draw my attention away from Jack for long. He didn’t seem to be paying attention to it at all. Every time I looked up at him, I never failed to see those beautiful dark brown eyes of his gazing back at me. His mouth was shaped in a gentle curve of a smile, his expression almost dreamy as he admired me with so much love and adoration in his eyes that it sent my heart racing. I had to look away when the butterflies in my chest fluttered so hard they were ready to burst out of me.
Fuck, I was so down bad for this man, I was down atrocious.
A gloved finger brushed against my cheek, slowly tracing the contours of my face until reaching my chin. The sensation sent a delicious shiver down my spine, and my eyes returned to Jack as he gently guided my face back towards him.
“Looks like the show’s over,” Jack said. I blinked, caught off-guard, before my eyes darted to the screen to see the credits scrolling by. His honeyed voice drew me back before I could get distracted from his loving gaze for long. “What do you want to do now, sunshine?”
The first thought that popped into my head made my cheeks burn and brought back those damn butterflies. The second thought reminded me to check the time.
Ah damn it. Curse must-watch binge-worthy television. Why must I always fall for your siren song of “just one more episode”?
“Not run errands, that’s for sure, but it’s getting late,” I said with a heavy sigh, banishing the butterflies and steamy thoughts to whence they came. “Groceries aren’t going to buy themselves, and I’ve got a bunch of other stuff I should get out of the way while I’m out too.” I sighed again, shoulders slumping.
Being a responsible adult dealing with all the responsible adult bullshit sucked sometimes. A lot of the time. Actually probably most of the time considering how many hours in a day got eaten up by a cringy job and entitled customers.
I twisted away from Jack and tried to stand, but his large muscular arms kept me locked up tighter than iron bars. I turned back to him with a questioning look, only to see him pouting at me.
“I know it’s important to be responsible, sunshine, but don’t you think you’ve been pushing yourself too hard lately?” he asked. “We have plenty of food to last a few more days, and you’ve been working overtime for the past five nights in a row. You come home too exhausted to do anything but sleep, then you go right back to work. It’s not good for you.”
“I know,” I said with a helpless shrug. “But what can I do about it? Bills aren’t going to pay themselves either.”
Jack adjusted his hold on me, not enough that I could slip free, but I could feel his hands glide slowly along my back, sending a shiver up my spine. “I know, but it’s just been so long since we’ve had any cuddle time,” he said, his pout making its way into his voice now.
I couldn’t help but chuckle a little at the way his lower lip jutted out just a little further. “You see me every day,” I teased, trying to lighten up the mood. “Besides, we woke up cuddling this morning, didn’t we? You sleep with me every night.”
“You’ve been too tired to cuddle lately,” Jack said, whining a little. “Even this morning, you didn’t really wake up until halfway through breakfast. This is the first chance in days that I’ve had to really have you all to myself.” He dipped his head down, closer to mine, and I couldn’t help but notice the way the TV’s gentle glow made his dark eyes shine. “I missed you, sunshine.”
His big soulful eyes tugged at my heartstrings, and his gentle caress along my back made me want to melt into him. “I missed you too,” I admitted after a moment. We couldn’t exactly talk when other people were around, and work had been too busy for us to even sneak a kiss without the risk of getting caught in the act.
I was pretty sure Jack wouldn’t mind even if someone else could see him making out with me. In fact, I had a sneaking suspicion that he might even enjoy getting caught. Sometimes this man acted like he had no idea what it meant to feel shame.
Then again, Jack was always painted up like a clown 24/7. If he wasn’t embarrassed by the bright face paint or his silly jokes, then he probably didn’t know the meaning of the word.
Sometimes I wished that I could say the same. The idea of being seen making weird faces while holding onto the air left me feeling a level of cringe that not even the greeting at my job could match. It probably would be a kiss with tongue too knowing Jack.
The thought left me burning, both with mortification and the memory of the way his kisses made me feel.
Maybe it would be worth the embarrassment considering how good of a kisser Jack was.
As if reading my mind, Jack brushed his lips against mine, just a peck, but it was enough to snap my attention entirely to my boyfriend. “Then stay with me,” he said with a hint of desperation to his breathy voice. “Please?” He planted another kiss on my lips, just a little longer but still only a tantalizing taste of what he could offer me. “I need you.”
Jack finished off the last of my resistance by saying my name in that same pleading tone while looking at me with so much love and need in his beautiful dark brown eyes. His desperate voice and puppy dog eyes made me melt like cotton candy in water.
I gave in to him. I couldn’t help it. I was weak to him when he begged me like this, and I needed Jack just as badly as he needed me.
“Jack,” I sighed as I looped my arms around his neck and drew Jack in for another kiss. I could feel him smile against my lips, and he murmured my name again before his tongue slid into my mouth to get a taste of me.
Soon I was pinned against the couch, breathless and panting, with Jack looming above me. His arms were a cage that secured me there and ensured that I wasn’t leaving anytime soon. Not that I wanted to with the way his mouth moved along my neck, hot and wet. I couldn’t help but moan his name as he sucked on my skin, arching up into him.
Even before Jack started tugging at my shirt, I had a feeling that I wasn’t getting any errands done today, but I couldn’t bring myself to care. Every touch, every kiss, and every murmur of my name along with sweet praise made the world around us fade away, until nothing else existed but the two of us and our love.

BETTING ON HER!
Tumblr media
summary: trevor and jack make a bet that she could fall in love with him. the bet instead ends up with trevor in love with her and her heart being broken
pairings: trevor zegras x fem! reader
warnings: relationship bets, small argument, heartbreak
Tumblr media
you would be lying if you said you didn’t like trevor zegras. he was cute, hot, had a toned body, very funny, very charming and a little stupid. you would also be lying if you said you weren’t shocked he asked you to tutor him.
it started after your calculus class. you were in honors and he was still stuck in pre-calc, failing. so he asked for your help. to which you gave him.
you started to tutor him every thursday and saturday. they soon became days you looked forward too. trevor knew how to make you laugh. he knew how to make you happy.
he knew how much this was gonna hurt if you found out about everything.
he found himself falling for you after every tutor session. he would pay attention to the way your eyes crinkled as you smiled. how your forehead slightly creased as your eyebrows furrowed in frustration. how you would put on a proud grin because he got something right.
oh no.
this cant happen. he cant fall for you. this wasn’t the bet. no no no, the bet was that you fall for him. but he couldn’t help it. you were so pretty so perfect.
you looked especially perfect in his jersey for hockey games. you looked especially perfect sitting front row near his box, talking to him when he wasn’t on ice.
you looked so perfect watching him.
like you were made for him, like you understood him. oh how he fell hard. too hard. and so did you.
you fell like alice fell into wonderland. god you loved his perfect smile, his skill, his voice. you loved how he would get excited for getting his own problems right. how he would jump up and down with you because you told him you passed a hard test.
you loved how he made you feel. well, you did.
trevor ran a hand through his hair as he stood in front of jack. jack leaned against the lockers boredly as he stared down the empty hallway.
“you want to end it? man come on i want my 100 dollars.” jack whined.
trevor rolled his eyes, “im being serious, dude. the bets off, no more of it. im done betting on y/n”
jack scoffed before his eyes widened, eyes staring behind trevor. “what bet?” your voice cut through the air.
trevors eyes widened as he turned around. your face held every possible negative emotion it could. your eyes were watery. what made it worse was how you were wearing trevors hoodie.
“bab—“
“i was a bet?” your voice broke. “i was just a way for you to make easy money?”
trevor stepped towards you, hands reaching out for you. “no, no god no—“
you slipped his hoodie off, throwing it at him, along with ripping the necklace he gave you and throwing it to the floor. the crystal shattered.
“it was all a fucking lie?” you raised your voice.
trevor stared broken hearted at the necklace that lied in millions of pieces. you let out a choked sob. “i hope you go to hell, zegras.”
you turned around and walked away. “baby wait!” trevor shouted, but you kept walking.
you kept walking and only when you got to your car did you turn back, and he was nowhere in sight.
“so that 100 dollars..”
“shut up, jack!”

You loved to dance. Those moments when your heart fluttered in your chest made you move like you could fly, relishing in the feeling of power it gave you. You weren’t particularly graceful or always on time, but there was a certain magnetic thrum in the air that bent you to its will all the same.
From outdoor dance clubs to private velvet-roped lounges, discothèques, raves and rooftop bars, you’ve tried to see it all with your friend Kate by your side.
The cool air nipped at you both as you finally walked inside the club, the heat of passing bodies a welcome feeling. The lit room had a hushed glow as people made their home for the night in plush seats off against the far walls.
You imagined that the venue was similar to what Alice saw when she went down the rabbit hole and found herself in Wonderland. The bar certainly had the right name, you thought, the people walking around just as colorful as the children’s story.
The bartender was quick and you were thankful, even though the drink he made was weaker than you preferred. Vodka burned as it hit the back of your throat, aided by the scoff that found you at the man chatting up your friend.
Kate always had a thing for slightly pathetic men, like she could eat them alive. You were used to her routine by now, her colorful storytelling one of your favorite things to listen to over your morning coffee.
Honestly, you were both horrible together: you pitied the unsuspecting bystanders that listened in. Laughing at an old story she loved to tell at your expense, you didn’t see him at first.
You wish you could go back to the moment he came crashing into your orbit, not noticing the person on your left until he made himself known.
“Now what is a pretty bee like you lookin’ so bored all the way over here?” a gravelly voice spoke, the man’s lips tantalizingly close to the shell of your ear.
Your eyes looked over before your brain could catch up, and what you saw certainly sidetracked whatever thoughts had possessed you before. Wearing a black leather jacket that swam in the neon light of the bar, he almost seemed to glow in a classic white shirt that tapered on his slim waist.
“I’m enjoying myself just fine thank you,” you retorted, taking a generous swig of your watered down drink to hide the rush of nervous energy that possessed you. You were used to beginning the chase, and it caught you off guard to be taken by surprise.
How refreshing.
A small grin flickered across his face at your answer. His dark hair and broad shoulders only made him more mysterious, the lolling drawl of his voice making you curious despite yourself.
Men would approach you with the fashionable audacity they all liked to carry around with careless hands hoping for a quick fuck. Sometimes you’d indulge yourself, but the enjoyable heat of another person wasn’t worth it if they never shut their mouths.
Your vibrator and weighted blanket made sure of that.
You were undecided if this man fit into that category though.
“That’s not what I see.”
“Hmm, what do you see then, if you know me so well?”
The man shifted his foot and leaned in closer, the subtle spice of his cologne clinging to his suede collar. The way he wore it was effortless, and you wanted to grab onto his jacket to either bring him closer or shove him back, depending on what he said next.
“I see a woman that’s bored out of her mind trying to convince herself she’s not, drinking alcohol not worth the proof on the bottle,” he explained, voice dipping lower as you turned to fully face him, finally meeting eyes that never strayed from you.”You want more than whatever junior over there could ever offer someone like you.”
“Someone like me?”
“Oh honey, I know I walked into that one with both feet. You’re just fishing for compliments now, aren’t ya?”
“Mmm, are you going to tell me what I wanna hear or are you going to buy me a drink?”
“The shit they mix here ain’t what you deserve, I saw that bartender mixing those drinks. Take a sip of this darlin’, and tell me I’m not wrong,” the man tempted, readily extending a sleek silver flask to you that was attached to his belt buckle. How scandalous .
The promise in his expression emboldened you. He had taken a drink from the flask himself before offering it to you in invitation.
“What’s life without a little risk?” His eyes seemed to ask.
You took the chance, the warmth from his hands lingering on your fingers as you took the flask from him.The delicate gold choker on your neck glinted in the light as you swallowed.
Taking a swig, you absorb the flavor. He knew his alcohol, and from the confidence of his statement nothing less than top shelf mattered. You could certainly respect that, wondering if his lips would have the same taste if he kissed you.
“You’re not wrong, it’s very good. I’ve always been partial to whiskey myself.”
“Just good? What you have in your hand is a rare share of Statesman Whiskey, made straight from the source in Kentucky,” he retorted, almost offended if not for the mischievous twinkle in his eye. Something you had said passed a test you weren’t yet aware of.“Even as a Yankee you must understand the quality of that. I knew you would.”
“You caught that, did you?”
“I don’t miss a thing, and you have most certainly caught my undivided attention.”
You shifted completely to turn your back on your friend and her man of the hour, uninterested in the conversation that no longer included you.
This man was right about one thing: you had been bored, and hopefully he would measure up for the evening. He didn’t shrink at your gaze.
It was nice to be approached for once with an interest that could mirror your own.
“I don’t know how you fit that ego of yours inside this place. This doesn’t exactly look like your scene if I’m being honest.”
He chuckles at that without taking offense and coyly tips the brim of his hat in your direction, smiling with a flash of tongue at your choked laugh that's just for him.
“Let’s just say I’ve gotten a lot of practice over the years. Even more talking to gorgeous girls like you. A buddy of mine wanted me to check out this new place to meet up sometime for work .”
The queer way he said that wasn’t lost on you, but you figured it was just an inside joke of some kind.
“You know that a honey bee can sting when it's threatened right?”
The way he widened his stance in victory as you focused on him was intentional, the insufferable action the kind of cockiness you usually wanted to smother with your own if not for the way it oddly suited him.
“Oh, that doesn’t deter me one bit. I’m sure your sting is just as sweet. I happen to like that.”
The grin peeking out from beneath his mustache looks genuine. You’re intrigued, looking at him now in consideration. As you checked him out from head to toe, one thing stood out rather prominently.
“Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just really happy to see me right now?”
New York might be a concealed carry state but he looked like one of the only men on the premises actually packing heat in all of the ways that matter. The well fitted dark blue denim hugging his thighs left very little to the imagination.
He was tailored to torture you inch-by-fucking-inch.
“Why don’t you come dance with me for the next song and find out?”
Oh you definitely wanted to shut him up. Preferably with something else to keep that mouth of his busy.
“No.”
“No? Give me one reason why not and I’ll leave you alone. You can take someone else home tonight and leave ol’ Jack behind.”
“So that’s your name then? Jack,” you reply. His eyes droop at the sound, half lidded and unhurried in the way he examines the way you say his name.
You finally introduce yourself, like you hadn’t been bantering with the man for a while now.
Like you hadn’t been imagining what he would look like after spending a night with you, scratch marks down his back a parting gift that'll make him think of you every time he moves.
“If you are so obliged, it’ll be the name you’ll be screaming later and that’s a promise,” he vowed, chewing on a mint he popped in with a cheeky wink thrown in your direction. On any other man that would be a turn-off, but you looked down and saw the way his hands clenched around nothing as you observed him.
Jack was his own harbinger of surprises it seems.
The second of silence that follows sears under your skin, charged and frantic for more friction. A quick reply caught on your tongue that you held in, keeping it for later: never let it be said that you didn't like flirting with delayed gratification every once in a while.
“How do you know that I don’t have someone already waiting in my bed for me?” You asked. Jack’s eyes were arresting, lingering lower on your chest for a few moments before looking into your own to answer you.
He gave a satisfied hum when he found whatever he was searching for.
“I think the way you’re staring at me is all the answer I need.”
You’ll give him credit, he was saying all of the right things. Or at this point, you wanted them to be, your attraction only tipping in his favor.
“Now what is a Southern boy like you doing here? Not to be a cliche, but you’re a long way from home.”
“Oh, I’m just like anyone else. I work at the Statesman New York office, traveling a lot when I’m needed elsewhere. What do you do when you’re not talking to vagrants like me in strange bars?”
“I’m a romance novelist, dabbling in a lot of things really, you know how it is.”
“Hmm, now that sounds interesting. What words must form on that clever tongue of yours?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know,” you flirted back.
He began speaking again, the story he launched into exotic and altogether hard to believe, but it wasn’t the words that reeled you in. It was his large hands waving temptingly close that distracted you. You could care less about the time he almost died in Marrakesh after offending someone’s wife.
You’d commit the story to your memory later when the pleasant haze of him faded away.
His tale came to a close as you glanced down and laughed at the stereotype that for some reason didn’t surprise you.
“Can you even dance in those boots for anything other than a two step?”
“I can do a lot more than that.”
“With your shiny belt buckle and Stetson I’d almost think you’re compensating for something,” you teased. A flash of delight lit up his face at your observation, the smirk he sent your way something just north of sinful.
“Everything is bigger in the south darlin' and besides,” he trailed off, hands coming to slowly cage you in against the bar but not quite touching you. “Let’s be honest here, we both know you like what I’ve got underneath.”
You lean forward, a breath of air suspended between you as your mouth almost ghosts over his. Maneuvering out of Jack’s reach, you reach up and take the hat off his head.
You had no doubt he would have stopped you if he had actually wanted to, those large hands of his able to easily overpower and hold you down.
You suppress a grin at the thought.
Putting the large hat on your head, you brushed out your unruly hair to make it stay firmly in place. His eyes unfocused for a moment before looking at you with renewed intensity, his jaw ticking to the side as he takes you all in.
You loved the chase, but at that moment you were tempted to end the flirtation and leave the bar to see if those fingers would fill you up as well as they promised.
“Come on, show me your moves," you dared, steeling yourself as you joined the growing crowd beginning to take over the dance floor. He convinced you. "Do your worst, Jack.”
A remix of one of your favorite songs set the pace as it moved through you. The bass was rich and dark in your veins as you danced, Wonderland falling away in the fury of bodies all around you. The charge that flitted low in your abdomen was one that threatened to crack you in two as Jack brought you back, your ass grinding into him after each beat.
It would be so easy to turn around and let yourself melt into the heat of him.
But riling him up sounded like a lot more fun. So when the beat shifted so did you, one hand removing the hat from your head as the other reached behind you to bring him down to your level.
“You know, there’s a saying I heard before that if you steal a cowboy’s hat you’re either fuckin’ or fighting, and darlin’ I don’t have any weapons on me right now. So what’ll it be?” He asked, his voice against your ear making you lean into his palms.
You felt like smoke, weaving around him as you continued to dance.
“Mmmm, doesn’t a combination of both sound just as good?”
The reactive tightening of his fingers on your hips was just what you needed. The both of you were lost, the music loud enough to cover up how hard your heart was beating.
Jack runs his nose along your neck and jaw until he nips at the vein, the heat of his breath making your own decision for you.
Turning, you reach up and finally kiss him. It wasn’t a quick affair, the push and pull between you both a fight to see who would give in first. You wanted to memorize the feeling, imagining the burn of his facial hair on your thighs as you rode his face.
You’d even wear his hat while you did it if he asked nicely.
He tasted like mint and mussed hair dangled in front of his eyes, lightly brushing your forehead as you mingled together.
You were both insulated in the crowd, kissing each other until you were hardly even dancing anymore.
Tumblr media
Ready to leave the liquor and low lighting behind, you stopped Jack in his tracks. Backing him into the wall of the hallway you ventured into, you did so firmly, hands holding him hostage as you clung to the lapels of his leather jacket.
The hunger he saw reflected in your eyes pinned him in place, and that alone made him want to ruin you.
Leaning up in your high heeled boots so that you could kiss his cheek, the remaining lipstick you wore smeared onto his skin like a brand, the red lip print left near his opened mouth telling him that you were dangerous.
Better yet, his favorite kind.
“Follow me cowboy,” you rasped, leaving goosebumps in your wake as you lightly skimmed over his skin with your teeth. The fever consuming from now was one he hadn’t felt bubbling in his blood ever since his last mission months ago.
 He craved it.
Jack vaguely connected that you were an unstoppable force to his immovable object, ready to crash into him like the paradox you were presenting yourself to be.
When he had clocked you from across the bar earlier he had admitted to himself that you weren’t the usual type of woman he jumped to charm into his bed. You had looked wholly unimpressed with your surroundings before, swirling the ice in your drink as the yuppie next to you preened like a toddler with a captive audience.
The oncoming storm he’d read in the lines of your body told him another story, however, one that swept him into you and past the redhead that had been trying to catch his attention since he’d walked in.
The shadow of something wicked had made Jack eager to align your passions with his own.
Impatient at his composure as he thought of this, you hooked two fingers into his belt loops and tugged him off the wall and into you, that jolt he felt from before electrifying below his skin as you pressed against him.
Reaching down and lightly cupping one of your hands over the denim of his jeans, you felt him squirm the longer you dared.
His dark brows furrowed at your forwardness, wanting to taste you again.
Your hands were firm on him, brokering no argument for the sly agent to persuade you with. He admired your drive, easily taking the momentum from him and twisting it to your desires. You kept surprising him, and by the way you delved into his mouth you weren’t afraid of showing him this side of you.
You wanted him to say something, anything, so this time you squeezed with intent, the hiss in your ear headier than the alcohol on his breath.
His cock twitched under your hand, and god it was power .
You enjoyed him like this: slightly wild but contained, a groan threatening to break through clenched teeth as you felt him up in public so casually.
You kiss him possessively in that dark room, drinking him up and daring him to consume you in turn like he promised. He might have approached you first, but you were going to finish what you both started.
It was desperate and messy and loud but neither of you cared.
A couple walked close to the both of you, forcing you to break from him in the narrow hallway to let them pass. Your absence made Jack swiftly reconnect himself with your body, his large hand sliding down into the pocket of your jeans to roughly squeeze your ass that had been grinding on him only moments before.
Leaving his hand where it was, he used it to direct you outside into the street. The nighttime air filled your lungs with relief, cooling the sweat that dampened your neck.
“You're positive you don’t wanna go back to my place? I can assure you the view from my floor is nothing to scoff at.”
“While that might ordinarily be tempting, Jack, your apartment doesn’t have any of the toys that I like to use,” you retorted.
You could already imagine flashes of the night ahead of you at your apartment.
“A pity then, I just know that you pressed against my floor to ceiling windows when the sun rises would be a pretty sight indeed.”
“Let’s enjoy tonight and plan on that for next time.”
Shame was not an emotion that Jack entertained often and he wasn’t about to start now, leaving your lipstick where it sat proudly on his face. A few people stared at him in the street, but no one stopped your brisk pace.
At the last crosswalk he pinched your ass in retaliation when you turned to kiss him harshly, nipping his chin as you leaned back onto your heels. As if you were dry kindling struck by lightning, his hands trailed flames in their wake, each touch only hastening your steps forward.
Exposed brick, industrial lighting, and high ceilings were what attracted you to your building when you first moved to the area. Your small loft on the upper floor gave you the privacy you craved, the cityscape around you comforting in the way it always kept moving.
While waiting for the elevator Jack untangled himself from you to lean against the wall on your right. He stood there appreciating you as a few of your neighbors walked around the lobby, Jack tipping his hat to them as they passed.
You didn’t even realize you’d dropped it at some point to kiss him earlier.
“Prettier than a peach,” he murmured, his hand reaching to smooth over his mustache in thought. He was earnest, the mood shifting into something unnamed as the elevator dinged. You huddled into him as people came and went.
"You know," you began, "I'd look even prettier with your hands wrapped around my throat."
He coughed into his hand, not wanting everyone else in the lobby to see how tight his jeans suddenly felt. You laughed.
You both stumble into your apartment, the size of Jack overwhelming as he backs you into the closed door. His mouth was persuasive, like a switch was flipped now that you were both away from everyone else.
He left bruising kisses on your neck, completely unyielding in his quest to mark you wherever he could reach. His hands were on the back of your head, holding you in place as he gripped your neck just so.
For a long suspended moment you were frozen, wanting to regain the ground you refused to lose. But hell, could this man kiss the thoughts from your head.
Then, all at once, heat spreads through you, thawing you into action.
Holding onto his jacket with your fingers you tilt your head back with a breathless chuckle, making Jack look into your eyes. You take up one hand and grip his chin, the other drifting to caress the lipstick mark you shamelessly left on his cheek. Pressing down on it with more pressure to show you meant your next words, you wanted him to listen.
He smirked into your touch, a cocky sort of grin showcasing his dimple that felt entirely warranted as your breath stuttered in your chest.
“Go sit on the couch,” you ordered. Kissing you once more before moving away, a filthy moan left you as his tongue darted out for a taste. His eyes didn’t look away until you turned your back, shedding clothes in your wake until all you had left on was the lace you were wearing.
“Would you like a drink?”
“Sure thing baby, pour me a bit of whatever you’re having.”
You didn’t leave him for long, reappearing with strong liquor and the type of lingerie that made you feel like you could eat a man’s heart in the marketplace like Beatrice once said.
The warmth from the drink you’d sipped in the kitchen enveloped you as it licked up your chest— you were in your element now.
Grounded in your body, you took a deep breath.
Emerald lace and satin embrace you, assured in the sway of your hips as you walked over to your cowboy. Handing him his drink and swiftly straddling his parted thighs, you let him take you in.
You don’t know when he became “your cowboy,” but it sounded right, for the night at least.
Say what you will, but Jack was flexible with a change in plan. He just had to bide his time, finishing the finger of bourbon left in his glass before setting it aside.
The way you spilled out of your lingerie had him drowning in you. Champ once told him that he was an adrenaline addict, chasing every mission that got his heart racing. He wasn’t wrong—you couldn’t function as a successful Statesman agent without a dash of daredevil in you.
And he just loved the way you moved.
His mouth descends on you again, leaving you once to gulp in a desperate breath before attacking with renewed vigor.
He hoarsely spoke your name, and it was the best thing that had left his lips all night. You wanted him to say it again but this time underneath you, unbidden and desperate at the way you pulled it out of him. You slid your tongue into his mouth and brought up a hand to roughly yank at the hair on the sides of his head, until he bowed his back and leaned into you for a moment.
“Is this what you want?” You asked, snaking your hand underneath the cup of your brassiere to shove it aside and caress your breast, a groan breaking through your composure at the way Jack bucked into you. Though his breathing was measured and even, his lips parted at the sight of your nipples pebbling in the cool air.
“You know, when I saw you at the bar I knew I had to talk to you, take you with me when I left,” he murmured, quiet in his admission as it rang true on his face.
“Mmmm, honey, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but...you’re in my apartment at the moment, on my couch no less, drinking my bourbon,” you answer just as quietly into his ear. You graze over it teasingly with your teeth just to see him shiver. “And I’m wearing a matching set right now. So who really took initiative tonight, hm?”
Jack laughed almost in disbelief at your words, his body responding for him. It’s an honest sound, one that makes you kiss him deep enough to taste his tongue in the back of your throat.
Ultimately what you saw in his eyes was patience. And that was hotter than anything else he could have done.
You sigh his name, letting your head fall forward as he seeks out another kiss from you.
“This is just the preview. I want it all, and I know you do too,” he breathed against your lips. “Now are you going to let me touch you, or do I have to watch you fuck yourself on my thigh before I can taste you? You can only tempt a man so far.”
“Is that a threat or a challenge I hear?”
“I did promise that you’d be screaming my name, and I take that job very seriously. You'll hear no arguments from me.”
“You sure you can handle me like that, cowboy?”
Jack was wavering somewhere between wholly aroused and perversely indignant. No one questioned him like this, in the bedroom or otherwise if he could help it.
He hated how it turned him on like this.
You’re not sure what emboldens you to tease him; your resolve only heightens the longer he looks at you, as if you could spill over into him and it still wouldn’t be enough.
“I have never been more sure than I am right now.”
He knew how to fire you up. In many ways, you were both quite similar.
Restless and insatiable.
Purposefully running your hands down his chest only to stop your exploration at his belt, the rumble in his chest was one of approval as you scratched at his abdomen through his shirt.
You enjoyed yourself when pleasure could mix with a bit of pain, and you had an inkling that Jack did too. You wanted to deny him, reduce this enigma of a man into a begging mess before the sun came up. But your own need to be touched by him won out, and damn him for kissing you like that—as if you were the antidote to a fatal poison he had drunk in an effort to forget you.
“You can touch me, Jack, but there’s something I want to do first.”
You meet his gaze for a brief moment as you pause in this position on top of him, being perfectly still when all you wanted was to hold him close until there was no space for questions or distractions.
An understanding passes between you both. Your body buzzes with nerves, synapses firing as all thoughts focus on the man holding you.
He grabs at your hips, whispering encouragement in your ear as he guides you to settle flush against his lap with your legs on either side of him. The zipper of his jeans and his belt buckle rubbed into your clit hard enough to make you shiver.
“ Fuck… ”
Jack  scrapes his teeth over your jaw. Barely there. More of a breath across your cheek than anything.
You reach back and unlatch your bra, throwing it away as he cups each breast in his calloused hands. Arching into his attentive mouth as it reached your skin, you threaded your fingers in his hair, messing up the hat flattened strands and tugging on them harder when he bit down teasingly.
Letting your nipple go with a wet plop, he leaned back into your hands on his head.
“God, I am so fucking hard thinking about licking into that pretty pussy of yours, bet you taste real good,” Jack groaned. You answered in kind, kissing him again to swallow his words.
This was just the warm-up.
“I’m going to cum just like this against you, but if you move any more then I won’t be quite so kind later. Wanna make you earn it. I’m a generous lover, Jack, but a fair one,” you simpered, grinding almost cruelly against the hardness of him that you could feel throbbing through his pants. “You want me to be nice, don’t you?”
“Oh darlin’, I’m sure you’re sweeter than a saint,” he grunted, words stuttering as you brought his head up closer to yours, lips touching but not quite. Rotating your hips, you sigh into his mouth as you move against him.
True to his restraint so far, he kept himself in place, his breath hot against your cheeks as your pace quickened.
“Mmmm, can’t wait to have you inside me,” you sighed, his muscles straining beneath your fingers. Shuddering at the feeling of him under you, your first orgasm was creeping closer as it began trickling down from the tips of your fingertips. “D-don’t want you to cum until I’m done with you.”
Jack’s mouth opened partly in awe as you grinded on him with even more force.
He had a hidden strength to him, and by the way his arms flexed around you he could have easily moved you under him at any time. The fact that he didn't demand it was arousing.
Fuck you were wet.
Tilting his head slightly, he enjoys the view of you on his lap using him for your own pleasure. Your tits bounce as you move, and he’s torn between telling you how perfect they are and moving just slightly to bury his face in your softness. He whimpered silently as you pulsed around him, able to feel it over his clothes as you threatened to unravel.
“Oh, look at you,” he exclaimed, voice a low rumble that stokes the fire in your belly. “Just like that, baby. Fuck, come on. Take what you need from me.”
He says your name once, fervent and taut, barely able to keep himself in check. The fact that he was still almost fully clothed made him need more . You were all warm skin and curves and he wanted to feel every second of you wrapped around him.
He tensed his thigh and shifted slightly but you didn’t notice as you rode out the waves of pleasure rolling over your clit.
It was exquisite and hurried and not the end goal but you didn’t mind. You had wanted to see if he would listen to you. If he could take what direction you gave him. It was an entirely different high you’d surprisingly discovered in your twenties, having a man in your control, making him beg with just your body.
And yet, Jack did not beg for himself. The look in his eyes was expressive enough. Still he didn’t move, and that was what finally pushed you over.
Gasping in shock, your orgasm softly washed over your skin. He eagerly watched, memorizing the way your mouth hung open at the feeling of him grabbing your hips with bruising force to drag you over him once again.
When you finally opened your eyes Jack was already looking at you, and you did not shy away. His hair was tousled from your hands, lips swollen, eyes bright—you savored him like the Kentucky whiskey on his breath.
“Mmmm, you were so good for me,” you praised, voice heavy in your mouth as you recalled how to speak.
As you came back down he chased your lips, taking his time to touch you the way he could now that you’d fallen into his chest. His mouth was a wanting, wretched thing, tracing a path from your lips to your chest.
You pulled back for a moment. “Do you want to switch to the–”
“I’m not done yet,” he interrupted, bringing you back into a heated kiss that had you whining into his hold on you. He slips his tongue in your mouth and seems to slow time licking into you just so, making you shiver.
His hands were frenzied in the way they glided over all the flesh he could reach.
You would torture him no longer.
His blunt nails traced over your spine, and you wanted to ask him to do that again.
“Now you are a rare gift, my dear,” he hummed into your mouth. “I would hate for you to be tired already.”
“Oh, you don’t have to question my stamina,” you slyly answered. Even now you are still hazy in your bones, tethering yourself to his firm grip on your ass. “Worry about your own.”
The chuckle that leaves him is telling, and you clearly feel his frustration rolling off him now that you can think in complete sentences.
You kiss the corner of his mouth and swiftly hop off of his lap, trembling for a moment as you right yourself. There’s a slight damp spot from where you were sitting on his white shirt that had been hanging over half untucked from his jeans, but you’re too drunk on endorphins to feel embarrassed.
You did that .
Your heart stuttered for a moment at the raw ache you saw in his face. Hooking your fingers in the slim waistband of your panties, you then cast them aside.
It felt like an afterthought after what you had both just done, but the way Jack looked at you was anything but unappreciative.
What you inspire in him is so erotically charged that he is momentarily struck dumb by what you do next.
Falling onto your knees you look up at him through your lashes, taking the flask attached to his belt buckle, the surface slightly wet from your release making it slick in your hands. It was silent in the apartment, the only sound Jack’s breathing as he watched you drink from the flask that he favored so much.
You could taste yourself around the metal and lipstick and whiskey. A theme of the night it seemed.
Awareness flows down your spine at Jack’s gaze. As you take one more pull, his hands reach up to card through your hair, holding it in a makeshift ponytail, reaching for you with a finality that has you arching into him.
You lead him into your room, wishing you had cleaned up a bit before tripping on the rug, laughing as you both stumble into your metal bed frame.
“Now Jack,” you begin, bracing yourself for the next conversation you rarely walked into without some gut feeling bracing you up. “Do you have a safe word?”
He didn’t answer immediately, but when he did he was entirely focused on you.
“I do, pretty girl. It’s sweet tea.”
The way his mouth caressed each syllable with that slow southern drawl shouldn’t have been as damning as it was.
“How do you feel about ropes?”
The way he lit up was thrilling. He looked away with unfocused eyes, enjoying a private joke that only he knew. It was the expression of a man that delighted in his own mystery.
You couldn’t deny that a part of you was burning to know what he locked away. He prowled with that hidden energy, and knowing what you’d experienced of him so far, you would have to work for a proper taste.
“I happen to be quite gifted with whips and a lasso if I do say so myself. I’m rather versatile in that regard. Rest assured it is not my first rodeo.”
“In that case cowboy, I want you...to tie me up,” you said before grazing your thumb across his bottom lip. He nodded slightly surprised, with the way you had directed him earlier he had thought you’d wanted to tie him up instead.
It wasn’t like he couldn’t escape from some ropes if he really needed to.
He had been amazing under you before, but you wanted more. You wanted him to take your body and make your need dissolve on your tongue as you cry. You wanted it to hurt.
Jack felt like you could read his mind, look into the very heart of him and learn all of his desires. Palming himself over his jeans, he imagined the warmth of your mouth and had to stop from outpacing himself.
You walked into your closet with purpose, toeing on your favorite pair of stiletto heels as you grabbed your selection of ropes from where they’re hidden.
His eyebrow ticks up at the sight of you naked with only your Louboutins on, the black ropes in your hands are just as daring. He waits for you to settle onto the pillows of your bed before methodically tying your hands to hooks in the wall on either side of your headboard.
It took him a few moments but his knots were sound, loose enough but tight on your wrists so you couldn’t break free. You were grudgingly impressed with how fast Jack could work when he was motivated, filing it away where you could exploit later.
He throbs at the salacious painting you rendered, spread out and glowing in the warm lighting of the room. With your opened legs you were vulnerable and slick and soft.
Jack didn’t want to wait any longer before losing himself in you.
He shifted down to lay himself between your parted legs. You swiftly stopped him with your left leg extended fully out, the stiletto of your heel digging into his lowered shoulder as he kneeled on the bed. The startled look on his face made you tease him, grinding it in a little further before moving it down his chest to stop at the length of his cock straining for freedom.
Pressing down.
The choked groan that he involuntarily let out was painfully erotic. You wish you could record it and hit rewind.
“Hold your horses, Jack. You have far too many clothes on. Strip for me first before you get what you want.”
To his credit he didn’t jump up and frantically discard the remainder of his clothing. Like you before his expression turned calculating, methodically shifting off the bed and taking off his shirt and discarding his pants along with his underwear. All are then folded on your nightstand, neat and pricise to minimize wrinkles.
You swallow at the way he ignores your anticipation, but it brings no relief.
His skin is tan like the rest of him, belly soft and strong before a small trail of dark hair leads down to the base of his cock sitting heavy against his stomach.
You imagine tracing your tongue over every inch of him seeing where he’d fracture and break in your hold, only to put him back together again when he asked.
He was incredibly distracting like that when he wanted to be.
Captivated, your eyes stop back at his chest, small faded scars criss-crossing his skin, one worryingly close to his heart that had you straining for a closer look. His muscles ripple as he moves, the veins of his arms as formidable as the rest of him.
Jack was focused as he finally settled low on the bed, fingers ghosting over skin as he hitched your legs over his shoulders. Kissing and nipping at the inside of your thigh, he took in a deep breath and let out a little hum, puffs of air hitting your pussy as he adjusted.
He leaned his head on your left thigh and looked up at you briefly.
“You remember the safe word, sweetheart?” He asked. You nodded, almost drunk at the heat of him crowding you. “I need to hear you say it.”
“Yes Jack, I remember it’s sweet tea. Now are you going to eat my pussy like you mean it or do I need to get myself off again?” You answered, tapping your leg down on his back knowing fully well how it would rile him up.
He grins at you savagely, leaning down the remaining space to lick a long stripe all the way up your folds.
You buck into his mouth, your already sensitive clit coming alive again. He moves his arms to cage your hips in his hold, bringing you flush to his tongue by grabbing onto your ass.
He was nestled between your legs, mapping your body with licks and handprints. Your half-formed praises and keening whine made Jack a mess of a man, grinding into the mattress as he drank up everything you could give him.
He loved your voice and the way it scattered into nothing when he sucked your clit into his mouth. He made no pretense at staying quiet, noisy and whole in his destruction of you.
Coming up for air, his mustache glistened, cheeks red from his own harsh breathing against your cunt. His lips were wet and you wanted to taste yourself when he kissed you. He reaches down for a moment and pumps himself harshly, tightly fisted and the sound he lets out...you feel it like a pulse.
His nose brushes you as he dives back in. If he could sink underneath your skin you would burst.
He slides two fingers inside, your muscles clenching around him as far as he could go. Curling his fingers upward and holding them there, a hot fusion of unnamed pleasure and painful awareness zips through you. You can't help but squirm underneath him.
There it was.
Jack wanted you to call his name until he no longer connected it with himself, an uncontained force that compelled him to do whatever you wanted if only you'd say his name like that again.
Wanting.
“Fuck, when you say my name like that I just burn all over,” he murmured. “You gonna cum now, baby?”
You hum distractedly, the coiled tether in your abdomen snapping when he doubles down just right. He eagerly laps at you as your pussy flutters, climbing higher and higher until plunging you into nameless bliss. Each limb feels liquid as you touch down.
Jack keeps sucking and licking you without stopping and you can’t cover your mouth to muffle the whimpers that slip through. He adds a third finger and continues to move through each aftershock that bounces through your body.
“Come on. Lord—when you sound like that I don’t want you to stop. You’re not done yet, I know you can give me another one. Look at the way you take me in.”
You wanted to dodge his mouth as he sucked on you again, even the gentle way he prodded at you felt like too much. You weren’t going to beg yet, even for a man like Jack. Despite your discomfort you felt yourself stir again, weaker but no less corporeal, as he pressed down hard on your clit with a pressure that made your breathing pick up.
With effort you rocked into him once more and strained to lock your legs around his head, squeezing when he nipped at you. A handful of minutes later you were boneless and spent, legs trembling as he drew your pleasure out.
He moaned at the feeling of being utterly surrounded, desperately sending you over again so that he could breathe.
You couldn't think past the wall of sensation you were being held against without mercy.
This orgasm was harder than the last, a juggernaut that only built on the first. A few silent tears trailed down your face, so overcome that his facial hair burned similar to the hand shaped bruise already forming on your hip.
You close your eyes so tightly that sunbursts bloom behind your eyes as you breathe through it.
Standing up to catch his breath, he used some of the slick on his fingers to slowly cover his shaft, aching from being hard for so long already. From the sheer size and weight of him that you can see, you’re glad for the bottle of lube on your bedside table, though you’re so wet it probably didn’t matter.
Jack settles himself over you, tugging you up into a fierce, messy kiss, teeth and tongues and harsh breaths traveling from his mouth into yours.
You were so relaxed that the stretch of him affected you only for a moment as he buried himself inside you. The gasp when he moves catches in your throat, a ghost of all the pleasure he had given you just moments before leaving your body.
His voice stutters as he slowly thrusts inside of you, setting a steady pace. “Should keep you right here just like this, make you cum until you forget your own name. Would you like that? Take care of you like no one else will?”
You swear, picturing his words as they traced themselves down your body. As heavy as the feeling of Jack resting his weight on you was, you thrived on it. Your arms felt strained from being tied, but he curled around you just so, keeping you both connected for as long as possible.
Jack’s arms flexed as he adjusted to reach for you, extending his fingers until they pressed into your parted lips.
Swirling your tongue around his two fingers, you could taste yourself on his skin. He then leaned down and used them to press into your clit. It had you closing your eyes, too overwhelmed to speak through it.
You didn't have any smart comebacks in you now.
His unrelenting tempo jostled the bed against the wall. Moving back to lean on his heels, Jack pistoning into you at this new angle was overwhelming but you simply didn’t care. He yelled out in a voice you almost didn't recognize, hoarse and wet as it ripped from his chest.
“Come on Jack, cum in me,” you panted. “ Fuck , I know you’re close. Can feel you aching for it. You’ve been so patient. So good . ”
You intentionally clench around him like a vice, and it has him tumbling into his own release moments later with a startled shout.
Satisfaction seizes his veins in a chokehold.
He collapses into your chest, the both of you covered in a slight sheen of sweat that was beginning to dry in the cool air.
Whimpering slightly as he pulled out, he worked through his own lethargy to take care of you.
He leaned up and undid the knots holding you hostage. Immediately your arms flop onto the mattress, the burn of your muscles just adding to the mental catalog of sensations you take stock of. With Jack resting on your chest you card your fingers through his hair, the both of you too out of breath to say anything for a few moments.
The weight of him on top of you kept you grounded.
Warm. Languid. Eyes drifting closed at how heavy you feel.
“You are gonna be the death of me, woman.”
“Mhmmm, if that’s the case then I’ll wait to tell you my proposal then. Wouldn’t wanna kill you before another round, Whiskey.”
He lifts his head from your chest at that.
“What did you just call me?” He asked, eyes unreadable as they scan your face. You didn’t care, the words light in your mouth as they leave you.
“Whiskey. You taste like it. And if you think this is the only time I take you to bed, then let me inform you: I still need to drink my fill of you.”
He scratched at his mustache for a moment in thought before he smiles, the most genuine of the night that makes his eyes crinkle with laughter. There it was again, that secret in his expression that has you eager to ask what he’s hiding.
“You’re a very perceptive person, honey. I am thoroughly surprised by you. Tell me what you have in mind when I come back.”
He jumps out of bed to walk into your en suite bathroom, his ass distracting as you watch him fumble around before returning with a warm washcloth to clean you up.  Each brush of his hands on your body is gentle, reverent even as it glides over you. He kisses where your hands had been bound, asking if he was too rough.
You almost laughed.
You liked it that way.
Something inside you wanted to stay in the moment, gazing at each other in the dimly lit room. Not forever, just a little longer. You imagine him walking away from you out the door, and it puts an unpleasant feeling in your gut, like you wouldn’t see him again.
You had the sneaking suspicion that if Jack didn’t want to be found he’d disappear.
“So I was thinking,” you began, finally tossing your stilettos off the bed to lay under your quilt. “I have an ungodly expensive espresso machine that makes a decent latte and fresh beans in the kitchen. How about we take a quick nap and then fire it up before round two? I heard once that drinking coffee makes the sex even better.”
“Don’t you mean rounds three and four?” He teased, that ego of his purring at the thought of how much you spasmed and shook around him.
If you weren’t so relaxed you would have probably grabbed onto his balls in response, made him swear around that crooked smile of his.
You'd learn how he liked it and edge him until he melted out of his damn cowboy boots. The thrill of him was delicious, and you hadn't gotten to take a true bite out of him yet.
“You think you can go another round later and finally ride this prize stallion?”
That makes you slap at his shoulder. His laugh diffused whatever seriousness lingered and you readily agreed, the both of you winding down as exhaustion hits.
As his arms settle around you, you imagine the potential of a future with this man of mystery.
He had barely scratched the surface of what made you wild, and you wanted to change that. Leaving Wonderland with him tonight was an event you were eager to repeat.

Emily and Aaron, along with the rest of the BAU, help look for a missing little girl who has the same name as their daughter.
-x-
Hi friends,
This started as an idea I had yesterday and, as always, spiralled wildly out of control. It's less a bit less of a case fic than I initially intended, but it is angsty, full of feelings and hurt/comfort as well as a good dose of domestic Hotchniss.
I really hope you like this, and I would love to know what you think <3

She’s woken up by tiny hands pressing into her face, familiar warm and little fingers digging into her cheeks. Emily blearily opens her eyes, struggling at first as if they’d been glued together by a lack of sleep, and she’s met with her little girl's face, her dark eyes shining in the low light of the room.
“Alice, honey, are you okay?” she asks, reaching to the nightstand to turn on the lamp, internally winching when she sees it’s only 4 am. She rests her elbow on the mattress to get a better look at her little girl.
The movement causes her husband's arm to slip from its place over her waist, the weight of it now resting on her hip. She can feel from his breathing against the back of her neck that the small amount of light in the room hadn’t woken Aaron up. When they first started sleeping together, in the very literal sense, they’d both been light sleepers. Both so used to being alone and facing their monsters by themselves, their demons who had faces of very real men prone to coming out of any shadow. Any sound no matter how small enough to draw them from sleep and into a reality where danger was waiting for them.
After close to five years together, four of them married, they were both heavier sleepers now, aware of the safety they brought each other even in sleep. A kind of security their children often sought out, her and Aaron’s bed a frequent sanctuary for Jack or Alice, sometimes both, when they woke up in the middle of the night.
She feels her heart clench at the sight of her 3-year-old daughter. Ever since she was born everyone had always told her that Alice looked exactly like her, something that only seemed to be more true as time went on. If she looked at photos of herself when she was Alice’s age they looked identical, and she often wondered if she’d once been like her little girl, full of life and wonder and joy, before she was taught she needed to be ‘better behaved’.
Emily knows what’s happened before Alice responds, the signs of a nightmare all there. Her hair was unruly, dark curls that Emily couldn’t say where they’d come from escaping the braids Aaron had diligently done under the toddler's instructions at bedtime. She has visible tear tracks on her perfect cheeks, her eyes shining with more, and her lower lip trembling as if she was trying to stop herself from crying, as if she was trying to be brave.
“Bad dream,” Alice replies and Emily sighs sympathetically, reaching out and tucking some of Alice’s hair behind her ear, smiling sadly when the toddler leans into the affection.
“I’m sorry baby,” she says quietly, aware of her still-sleeping husband behind her, “Want to sleep in here with me and Daddy?” Alice nods as she rubs her eyes and Emily pulls back the covers so the little girl can climb under them. She tucks her against her chest, smiling softly as Alice curls into her, her head tucked under her chin as she snuggles in, her tiny fist clasped in Emily’s pyjama shirt.  Emily turns the lamp back off and wraps her arms around her daughter, rubbing comforting circles on her back, “Want to tell Mommy about the bad dream?”
Alice shakes her head against her, “No,” she says, rubbing the material of Emily’s shirt between her thumb and forefinger to self-soothe, “Mama sing?”
Emily smiles before she nods, pressing a kiss against the top of Alice’s head as she continues to rub circles on her back, easing her back asleep. It was something she’d done for Jack before Alice had been born, something she’d done on a whim one day when she was home alone with him early on in her relationship with Aaron and the little boy had a nightmare. He’d climbed into bed with her and she’d started singing, hoping it would calm him down and it had. Ever since then, he’d asked for her to sing when he was sick or sad, and she’d happily comply. It seemed natural to do the same thing for Alice, and she’d done it before she was even born. More than once Aaron had walked into a room to find her with her hands pressed into her bump, as she sang quietly.
“Of course, sweet girl. What do you want me to sing?”
Alice yawns, already getting heavier against Emily’s chest, her mother’s embrace her favourite safe place, “The sunshine song.”
She rests her cheek on top of Alice’s head and starts to sing, making sure she stays as quiet as possible so she doesn’t wake up Aaron.
“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.”
She feels Alice’s grip on her shirt loosen, and her breathing even out against her neck, and she blows out a slow breath, pressing a kiss to the little girl's forehead before she rests her head properly on her pillow, ready to try and find sleep again herself. Just as she closes her eyes she feels Aaron’s arm move, his hand shifting from her hip to rest over hers on Alice’s back, enveloping them both in his embrace.
“Is she okay?” He asks sleepily, his voice thick with sleep in a way that never failed to make her stomach flip, a delicious part of him that was only for her and their children.
“She’s okay,” she replies, turning her head to look at him, the sleepy concerned look on his face enough to make her smile. She stamps a kiss to the corner of his mouth, “She had a bad dream. Sorry we woke you.”
He shakes his head, letting her know he doesn’t need her apology, that he’d never be mad about how much she loved their children. He kisses her lips and then her shoulder as she lays back down properly, and he hums, “There are worse ways to be woken up than to you singing our daughter to sleep.”
___
They get woken up early the next morning by Penelope, an urgency to her voice that sends shivers down both of their spines when she says they have an amber alert in New Mexico that they’ve been asked to help with.
Aaron calls Jess whilst Emily gets Alice and Jack ready for the day, and they exchange hurried goodbyes once Jess has arrived. Hugs with their children that feel too quick as they rush out of the door, well aware that another child’s fate rested well and truly on their shoulders.
When they get to the jet they finally have a chance to ask for the details of the case, of the little girl who’d been snatched from outside of her home the evening before whilst her mother took in the washing.
Emily’s breath catches in her chest when she sees the file, and Penelope hesitates before she says the name of the missing girl. It’s a momentary reaction she can’t control, something that makes the rest of the team look at her, and makes Aaron place his hand on her thigh under the table. She rests her hand over his and links their fingers together, squeezing tightly as she clears her throat.
“Sorry,” she says, smiling tightly as she makes eye contact with JJ before she returns her attention to the laptop, “Pen, carry on.”
Penelope hesitates for a moment before Aaron clears his throat, making it clear he doesn’t want anyone drawing any more attention to his wife’s reaction, and she nods, blowing out a slow breath before she continues.
“Our victim's name is Alice Holmes. She was last seen…”
The rest of the briefing fades out for Emily as she stares at the screen of her iPad, the face of a little girl who had her daughter's name staring back at her.
___
It feels like she’s on a knife edge, every one of her nerves fried as she stares at the board with the victimology scattered across it.
This Alice looked nothing like her little girl. She was a couple of years older, the baby-fat Alice still had nowhere to be seen. She was blonde and had blue eyes, her hair almost pin straight in all the photos her parents had provided. Emily felt like it should be enough to convince herself that this was fine, that this wasn’t her daughter but someone else's and that she needed to hold herself together.
It didn’t make it any easier anytime someone said ‘Alice’ as they were describing the kidnapping, or when they talked about the awful things she was likely enduring if she was still alive. Every time she closed her eyes her little girl’s face flashed across them and she felt like she wanted to scream.
She knew Aaron wasn’t faring any better. His shoulders tenser than normal, his fuse short as they hit a few dead ends and had to go to their hotel at the end of their first day on the case. He holds her close as they Facetime their children, some of the tension that had built throughout the day eased by the sight of Alice and Jack happy and healthy under the care of their aunt.
Neither of them sleep well that night, waking in fits and starts. Taking it in turns to comfort the other when their subconscious taunted them in their dreams, very real things they’d both seen twisting into the situation they found themselves in.
By the end of the second day, they worry they won’t find Alice until it’s too late, the chances of finding her alive diminishing with each passing hour.
It’s Spencer who figures it out, his eidetic memory coming into play when he says he recognises the van for a cleaning company that had been parked outside of the Holmes’s house from the footage of the day Alice disappeared in CCTV from another, up until then, unrelated kidnapping.
She leans in and she spots it too, the large letters on the side of the van clear even in the grainy footage.
Ray Dawson Cleaning Services.
Penelope finds his address in record time, her relief palpable when she tells them he only lives an hour away.
___
After the arrest is made, Dawson claims his innocence as Derek roughly takes him away, shoving him into the back of a cop car with what she knows is restraint, Aaron asks her to go into the house first.
She understands why, knows she’s done it before, but it doesn’t help the way she feels. The way her chest feels hollowed out as they find the perfectly decorated bedroom for a little girl, something that looks like it was pulled out of a magazine, in Dawson’s basement. They have to force the door open because it is triple locked from the outside, the keys nowhere to be found and Dawson's decision to say this had nothing to do with him absolute, so she knows that Alice has to be somewhere in the room.
The light switches on, the small windowless room floods with light, and Emily hears shuffling under the bed. She turns and nods at JJ before she tilts her head at the door, silently telling her to go tell the others they’d found her. Once she’s alone she kneels near the bed and peers under it, her breath catching in her chest at the sight of the little girl she’d only seen pictures of curled up against the wall, fear painted across her face that was far too much for a five-year-old to feel.
“Hi Alice,” Emily says as she lays down, her body flat against the floor as she turns her head so she’s facing under the bed. Alice whimpers, holding a toy tight against her chest as she shies away, “My name’s Emily. I’m with the police.”
“Is he coming back?” Alice asks, her voice shaking, tears spilling out onto her cheeks, and Emily wants nothing more than to pull the little girl into her arms, to hold her like she’d want someone to hold her little girl until she could get there, but she knows it has to be her choice.
“No, honey. He’s not coming back,” she assures her, “When you’re ready, I’ll help you outside and your Mommy and Daddy are going to meet us at the hospital,” she adds, watching as Alice shrinks back into herself curling tighter against the wall at the mention of getting out from her place of safety. Emily sighs and tries to think how she could help, the sound of footsteps outside the room let her know the others were all there, waiting on her to bring the little girl out. She thinks of her daughter, and an idea starts to form in her head, “I have a little girl, she’s called Alice too.”
Alice makes eye contact with her for the first time, furrowing her brow a little, “Really?”
“Really,” Emily confirms, smiling as the 5-year-old relaxes a little, “She’s three so a little younger than you. My Alice…” she starts, having to clear her throat when she hears the shake in it, knowing this wasn’t the time for her emotions, how she felt about the last couple of days, “My Alice, when she’s scared or hurt she likes me to sing to her. Would you like me to sing to you?”
Alice nods immediately, loosening her grip on her toy, “Yes please.”
Emily smiles and puts her hand between them, still leaving space so she doesn’t get too close to Alice, but giving her the option of holding her hand if she wants to.
“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.”
As she sings Alice scoots closer, at first placing her hand over Emily’s, squeezing her hand around hers before she gets even closer. By the time Emily finishes singing Alice is near enough Emily can feel her breath on her face.
“Emily?” Alice asks, her hand tight in her shirt, wrapped around the material sticking out from the top of her bulletproof vest.
“Yes, honey?”
“Will you stay with me?”
Emily nods, taking a deep breath, pushing the rising emotions back down into her stomach, feeling it turn over with them, nausea she knew would take to shift making itself known, “I’ll stay with you until we see your Mommy and Daddy, okay?”
Alice stares at her for a moment before she nods and Emily smiles at her before she stands up, not even leaving it a second before she bends down and picks Alice up, hoisting her onto her hip. She tries to ignore the desperation in the little girl's hold on her, how tightly she clings to her neck. She carries her out of the room, cupping the back of her head as she presses her face into her neck, clearly not wanting to see the place where she’d been held or the people who had come to rescue her. It’s only when they get outside, when the fresh air hits them, that Alice looks up just as they are approaching Aaron who had been outside directing everything, his face serious as he talks to the lead detective. When he spots Emily and the little girl they’d been looking for sitting on her hip he pardons himself from the conversation and walks over.
Alice shies away from him, wary of men after everything she’d been through, and she whimpers as Emily tries to soothe her.
“It’s okay,” she says, “You remember I told you about my little girl?”
She sniffs as she looks at Emily, seemingly never ending tears slipping down her cheeks, “Your Alice.”
“Yeah,” Emily says, exchanging a look with her husband, “My Alice. This is her Daddy,” she says softly, “He’s going to take us to the hospital so you can see your Mommy and Daddy, is that okay?”
Alice nods, her grip on Emily only loosening a little bit, “That’s okay.”
Emily smiles and steps past Aaron to open the car door, settling into the back seat with Alice on her lap. Before she closes the door Aaron stops it, his hand on it as he looks at her, his concern clear, his stern expression fading away no one but her and the little girl they’d rescued could see her.
“Are you okay?”
He felt guilty for sending her in here first, for asking her to do something he knew would be difficult. It hadn’t been lost on him how hard the last couple of days had been on her, how the little girl that had been missing having the same name as their daughter had made a case that would already have been tough, even tougher. But she was the best at this, child advocacy something she was skilled in and cared deeply about, and it was no secret children largely trusted women over men - especially in a situation like this.
As her boss, he knew that sending her in had been the right thing to do. As her husband, he wished he didn’t have to be the one to ask it of her.
She smiles tightly at him as she holds Alice closer, grateful that the journey to the hospital was short because they didn’t have a car seat, “Later.”
He nods, knowing it’s the best he’s going to get for now, and he reaches out and squeezes her shoulder, a silent show of the love he’d wait to give her, “Later.”
___
They head straight from the hospital to the jet where the rest of the team are waiting.
Emily keeps her promise, she sits with Alice, the little girl all but glued to her side, until her parents arrive. Aaron stands in the corner of the room, answering the doctor’s questions as well as he could, keeping vigil over the little girl, who had the same name as his, and well as his wife, her nerves clearly close to fraying.
It felt like a lifetime ago when he hadn’t been able to read her, when he would have thought she was unaffected by most of the things he saw. He knew her better now, and had done since before their relationship shifted from friendship into more. She was good at compartmentalising, that was true, but it was because she’d been taught since she was young that her emotions weren’t as important as what was going on around her. A side effect of the political world she’d been raised in, a past she’d never quite outrun.
He could see it now. Could see how she ran her fingers through Alice’s hair like she was their Alice, how she clenched her jaw for a moment before she blew out a long slow breath whenever the little girl against her side asked her a question, getting herself ready to sound unaffected by what was going on around her.
It was nothing short of a privilege that he was the one those barriers would crumble around, that he was the person she trusted more than anyone else. He loved being there for her, he loved her more than he had ever loved anyone else.
When Alice’s parents arrive, they are horrified she’d only been an hour away whilst she was missing, so close and yet so far out of reach. The little girl clambers out of Emily’s embrace and into her mother’s, her tears back with a vengeance as she sinks into her arms, her father’s arms around the both of them. Once Alice has calmed down a little, her parents hug both Emily and Aaron, their embraces a little tighter when the little girl tells them their daughter is called Alice too, a hint of innocence in her voice as the weight of her words settles over the adults in the room.
The ride to the jet is silent. Emily stares out of the window, focusing on the town passing them by, the place she hoped to never have to visit again.
As they board the jet she ignores how the rest of the team is looking at her, the empathy on their faces almost too much for her to bear. They had purposely left two seats for her and Aaron together, an unspoken rule that had existed since the team found out about their relationship, and she lets Aaron slip into the window seat, something he doesn’t argue with as she sits next to him, her eyes fixed on the table in front of them.
The moment they can take their seatbelts off Emily is out of her seat, her back to the team as she steps into the kitchenette, the curtain pulled behind her so she can have a moment of privacy. She blows out a shaky breath as she places her palms on the small counter in the back, leaning some of her weight on it as she tries to catch her breath, to force everything she desperately didn’t want to feel until she was at home, until after she’d hugged her kids, back down.
If she started crying now, she wasn’t sure she’d stop.
She hears the swish of the curtain and familiar footsteps behind her. She doesn’t have to turn around to know it’s him.
“Em.”
She presses her lips together and turns to look at her husband, her arms crossed over her chest as she leans back against the counter. She clears her throat, her eyes fixed on him, how he stands in just in the entryway to the kitchenette, his shoulders tense as he doesn’t know how to approach her. She clenches her teeth and blows a breath out through them.
“Can you make me some tea?” She asks, even though she’s closer to the hot water and the tea bags. He knows it’s an olive branch, her letting him look after her because she knows he needs to.
“Of course,” he says, stepping closer, purposely not touching her as he pours some hot water into a paper cup and grabs a chamomile tea bag. He looks at her, his gaze fixed on her side profile as she continues to stare ahead. She’d always been beautiful to him, even when he was married to someone else, and even now, simmering in her grief and where she’d let her mind wander the last few days, she was still gorgeous. The slope of her nose, the cut of her jaw, and her long lashes that were casting shadows onto her cheek. She was beautiful, and she was all his. “This feels like a stupid question,” he starts, his focus back on stirring her tea, “But I have to ask it, how are you?”
She scoffs, her arms tightening over her chest. She purposely keeps her voice low so it won’t be heard over the hum of the jet in the main part of the cabin, “Are you asking as my husband or as my boss?”
He turns to look at her, his eyebrows furrowed slightly, “Does my answer change yours?” He asks curiously, and she finally looks at him, her eyebrows raised, and he knows what she hasn’t said, “Your husband.”
She smiles sadly, her lower lip shaking in a way both of them ignore, “I had a hard day at work.”
“Sweetheart,” he says, moving to reach out for her but stopping, not wanting to push her, to be the thing that tipped her over the edge, “I’m sorry, I-”
“No, it’s…” she chokes on a noise somewhere between a sob and laugh and she shakes her head, “It’s not your fault. It was the right call, I’ve done it before it’s just…that was hard. And I really wish it wasn’t your job to make the call, even though it was the right one.”
He sighs, familiar guilt filling his lungs, making it momentarily hard to breathe as he looks at his wife, her jaw tight as she avoids eye contact with him, “I wish it wasn’t my job either.”
“I know,” she nods, her smile strained as she looks at him, “And I know this wasn’t easy on you either,” she adds, “I’ll be okay, honey. I just need to get home and hug the kids,” she says, her chin trembling, “Hold them until I stop imagining them in her place,” she chuckles humourlessly and shakes her head, “But we’re still five hours from home and they’ll be in bed by the time we get back.”
He watches as she reaches up to fiddle with the necklace he’d bought her last Christmas, two tiny disk pendants with the letters “J” and “A” stamped on them. He can’t hold himself back from touching her anymore and he places his hand on her hip, turning her to face him, a smile he hopes she finds comforting on his face.
“I know it’s not the same. But, until we get home you could always hug me,” he says, warmth spreading in his chest when a flash of a genuine smile breaks out over her face, “If you want to.”
She huffs out a laugh and closes the gap between them, wrapping her arms around his neck and sinking into him, something deep inside of her easing slightly when he holds her back just as fiercely, one of his hands firmly on her back whilst he uses the others to run his knuckles up and down her side. She presses her face into his neck and breathes him in, one of her hands shifting to cup the back of his head, her fingers digging into his hair.
“I always want to hug you,” she says softly, turning her head so her cheek is resting against his shoulder. She sighs contentedly, feeling something close to relaxed for the first time in days, and she smiles when she looks at the cup of tea on the side next to them, steam rising up from it and reaching her nose, the scent of her favourite tea to drink when she was stressed hitting her. She pulls back to look at him, her smile soft as she leans in to kiss him, her lips delicate against his, “Thank you for making my tea.”
He hears what she hasn’t said, what she won’t say until they are back at their house in the sanctuary they had built there together. No well-meaning friends just on the other side of a thin curtain desperately trying to hear them over the hum of the jet.
Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for being you.
He leans in and kisses her, his hand on her cheek as he holds her close, “Anytime, sweetheart.”
___
When they get home, she’s up the stairs before he even closes the front door. She toes off her shoes and shrugs off her coat on her way, leaving him to pick them up so she can go and see their children. He does it gladly, not making any gentle teasing comments he usually would about cleaning up after her.
He didn’t mind, he loved picking up the pieces of her that she’d allow to fall apart around him.
She barely says hello to Jess as they pass on the stairs, and Jess looks up the stairs at her curiously before she walks towards Aaron as the door to Jack’s room briefly opens and then closes.
“Is she okay?” Jess asks, her brows furrowed as she hugs him. He sighs as he hugs her back and he steps away, looking for her jacket for her.
“It was a case about a missing little girl,” he says, looking upstairs as Jack’s door opens again, only to be quickly followed by Alice’s, “Emily was the one who found her. Alive thank god.”
Jess winces sympathetically, and takes her jacket from him, “That’s rough.”
He hums, “Even rougher when you know the little girl is called Alice.”
She places her hand over her chest after she shrugs her jacket on, “Poor Emily,” she says, looking up the stairs before she looks back at him, “Poor you. Are you okay?”
He sighs and scratches the back of his head as he thinks about it, “I’ll be okay once I see her. And once I stop feeling guilty about sending Emily into the room she was being kept in first.”
Jess pulls him into another hug, “She understands your job, Aaron,” she assures him, patting his back before she steps away and heads towards the door, “It’s what makes you guys work. You’ll hold this against yourself a lot longer than she will.”
He hums and puts his hands on his hips, his eyebrow raised at her, “What made you such an expert on human behaviour?”
She chuckles and winks at him as she opens the door, “I’ve known you most of my life, some of it was bound to stick eventually,” she says as she steps onto the porch, “Get some sleep. Hug your wife. Everything will feel better tomorrow.”
He nods, “Thanks, Jess.”
She smiles at him one more time, “Any time.”
He sighs as she closes the door and he locks it behind her, double-checking the locks out of habit before he steps further into his quiet house. He puts their go-bags in the laundry room and then decides to head upstairs, desperate to see his family. He pops into Jack’s room and sees he’s fast asleep, his covers tucked up around him in a way that lets him know Emily had adjusted them when she came in to see him, the boy well known for wriggling out of them as he slept. He drops a kiss on his forehead, whispers his love against his skin, and then slips back out of the room, not wanting to wake him.
When he walks into Alice’s room his breath catches in his chest at the sight he’s met with, his two girls fast asleep and wrapped around each other. Emily was pressed up against the wall on top of the covers having climbed in with Alice when she came in to see her, still wearing her clothes from work, curled up so she could fit in the small bed. Alice is pressed against her, her hand loosely tangled in her mother’s shirt, and Aaron can just picture her waking up just enough to realise Emily was there with her before she fell back asleep, comforted by the fact her mother was home.
Aaron briefly considers waking Emily up, knowing that her back wouldn’t thank her for sleeping in this position in the morning, but he knows she needs this, that their daughter was the comfort she’d been seeking since they’d last seen her. She was an excellent mother, better than she ever gave herself credit for, and he never felt anything less than blessed when he thought about the fact she’d chosen him as the father to her children.
He briefly walks out into the hallway and pulls a blanket out of the linen closet before he steps back into the bedroom. He lays the blanket over his wife, making sure to tuck it around her so she doesn’t get cold. He kisses the top of Alice’s head, taking a moment to breathe in the scent of her no tear shampoo, and he whispers against her hair.
“Love you, Princess,” he says, kissing her head again before he turns his attention to his wife, tension in his chest easing when he sees how relaxed she is. He kisses her cheek, “Love you, sweetheart.”
She grumbles, waking up ever so slightly, “Aaron?”
“Go back to sleep, baby,” he says, kissing her cheek again, running his fingers through her hair to soothe her, not entirely convinced she was actually awake, her eyes still closed, “You and Alice get some sleep, okay? I’ll see you in the morning.”
She hums, tightening her hold on their daughter, and he kisses her cheek again as she mumbles just loud enough for him to hear, “Love you.”
“Love you too, Em.”
He sleeps fitfully in the big bed all alone, not used to all of the space to himself, for a couple of hours until she comes in, her eyes bleary with a sleeping Alice in her arms as she passes the little girl over to him so she can actually get ready for bed. She smiles gratefully at him as he settles their daughter against his chest and she leans in to kiss him, her lips pressed against his as she silently thanks him again for knowing her, for always knowing what she needed even when she didn’t.
When she climbs into bed with him, Alice sandwiched between them, they fall asleep quickly. Safe and content in their own home with their daughter with them and their son asleep just down the hall.

Admin: Congratulations Yui for being in 10 top best Otome heroines list 🤩🤩😍😍. I'm so proud of you my queen. You deserve it. The difference between Yui and Alice the second heroine is just one vote 😭. If me and my friends participated in this event we could make our queen rank better. But it doesn't matter. Yui still has her place and it's a big honor she is in this list. Between thousands Otomes Yui is in 10 top best heroines and she completely deserves it.
Fun fact: I know all of these heroines. And between all of them Yui is my #1 and she always will be. I love Haruka too and I'm so happy to see her name in this list. Haruka my girl after Yui is my favorite Otome heroine.
You can find original post here. And if you wanna see the result check here.

Making baby Hotchner
Title: Making Baby Hotchner
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x oc female character.
Characters: Aaron Hotchner, Jack Hotchner, Derek Morgan (briefly mentioned), oc female character, JJ ( briefly mentioned,) and Emily Prentiss, (briefly mentioned)
Summary: What happens when Jack not so innocently asks his step-mom and dad for a baby brother or sister?
Warnings: 18 plus, there is smut, p in v, office sex, breeding, oral sex (m receiving), minors do not interact, and anything else I missed.
Authors note: So I wrote this for a bingo challenge and am just now getting around to posting it. I am experimenting more with smut in my writing, so, that's new. I'm also feeling like crap, I spent last Friday in the ER and am still feeling like crap. My body hates me, so I decided to post this today. Also, I know the summary sucks, but the general gist is there. I combined the squares office sex and breeding for this one. I'm tagging @the-slumberparty, I know this is late, but here it is. I had no beta, so all spelling and grammar mistakes are mine. If I missed any tags or warnings, please let me know. Enjoy!
I hadn't thought much about my future until I married Aaron. Marrying Aaron meant that I got a stepson, and I loved taking care of Jack. He was adorable and we'd bonded right away. So while Aaron worked at the BAU and caught bad guys, I stayed home with Jack and took care of him. I took him to school, made his favorite meals and everything.
I still remember the first time he called me Mama. Aaron was gone on a case and I was picking up Jack from school, waiting with the other moms out front. Those eyes of his, so much like Aaron's, lit up when he saw me, and my heart stopped when a large smile lit up his face as he called out, running towards me, "Mama!"
He launched himself into my arms, and I hugged him tightly to my chest, barely managing to keep my tears inside as I took him home. Later that night, I passed on the news to Aaron, after I'd put Jack to bed. I was cuddled in our bed, and I said, "He called me mama today, Aaron." I said, my voice soft. I heard Aaron go silent a moment, and then he whispered. "Really? He did?"
I nodded. "He did. About melted my heart and made me cry. I wasn't sure if it was a fluke or not, you know with all his friends there, but he kept it up when we got back." I settled against the pillows, wiping a tear away. I could hear the grin in Aaron's voice as he said, "Well, he's ready for that. I mean, you are technically his mom, and we had that talk with him last week, remember?"
I nodded again. Just last week, before Aaron left on this new case, Jack had brought up what he could call me while we ate dinner. He'd asked if it was okay to call me something other than Alice, and Aaron had said it was up to him. I wasn't surprised that he was calling me Mama now after that. Jack knew that Haley was his mom, that I was just someone extra to love on him, and that I'd never take her place.
Aaron was due home today, and I was waiting to pick up Jack when he came running out with one of his friends, calling me mama and launching himself at me. I scooped him up and hugged him tightly, kissing him as he introduced me to his new friend, Andy. Andy's mom was very nice, and Andy couldn't stop talking about how excited he was to be a big brother.
Over the next few hours, I saw the wheels in Jack's head turning, and I knew he had something up his sleeve when he waited specifically for Aaron to come home before he said something. Aaron was mid-bite when Jack, without looking up from his mashed potatoes, said, "Daddy, when will you and Mama make me a big brother?"
I don't know how I kept my chuckle in as Aaron practically almost choked on his chicken. I gently patted his back as he faced Jack, and asked, "A-a big brother?" I saw Jack nod. "Yeah. Andy's gonna be a big brother, why can't I?" Again, I had to fight the smirk that threatened to form over my lips as Aaron's eyes met mine and I gave him a look that clearly said he was on his own.
Aaron was silent a moment and then I saw his eyes sparkle, and I knew this couldn't be good for me when he said, "Well, I can't make that choice by myself, Jack. Mama has to want to do that too." I saw his eyes sparkle as he poked a bite of chicken on his fork as if to say, 'How's that?' Jack then turned his attention to me, his voice soft and pleading, "Mama?"
I turned to face him, looking into those beautiful brown eyes, so much like his dads, as he asked, in his best pleading voice. "Will you make me a big brother, Mama?" I couldn't help it, and I met Aaron's gaze a moment, enjoying the way he almost choked on his water when I said, "Of course, Jack. A new baby might be nice."
Jack was gleeful as he finished his dinner and set his plate in the sink, darting off to the living room to play as Aaron met my eyes and said, "Well played, honey." I nodded, taking a bite of chicken. "Yeah, and I'm sure we're gonna have lots of fun making baby Hotchner," I said, as I ran my fingers along his shirt, headed for the sink to clean up from dinner.
So we started trying, and I started keeping track of my cycles, which meant that there were some days when I knew I was ovulating that I would pounce on Aaron when he got home in a bid to make a baby.
There were a few hits and misses, but we kept trying. One day in particular, when I knew I was ovulating, I came by the office with lunch for him. Morgan pointed to his office, saying "He's in there. I'd be careful mama, he's in a bad mood." I shook my head, muttering under my breath. "Not for me, he's not, if he knows what's good for him."
I heard Derek chuckle at my words and I walked in and closed his door as he said. "Whatever it is, just leave it on the desk and go, I'm bu-" I held the plate and raised an eyebrow at him. "Excuse me?" Aaron's eyes snapped up to mine and he sighed when he saw me. "Sorry, hon, I'm busy."
I nodded, setting the plate on a side table, reaching over to close his blinds, and locked his door. "Busy? I can see that," I said, walking over to him, noting how tense he was as he focused on a file. "I think you need a little stress relief, honey," I said, as I turned his chair, ignoring his protest when I spun him to face me, as I dropped to my knees in front of him, pulling my curls back into a ponytail.
My fingers nimbly undid his belt buckle as he huffed above me, an exasperated sigh leaving his lips. "Alice I don't have time-" But his voice suddenly stopped speaking as I started rubbing him through his briefs, tugging his half-hard cock out and clucking softly, before gently licking the underside of it, then wrapping my lips around his head, sucking gently.
I heard him groan, his fingers wrapping around my ponytail as I wrapped my lips around his cock again, before sinking to my knees and sucking and moving my head in the pattern he liked, his protesting giving way to soft groans of pleasure. I pulled off and licked him, my other hand moving what I couldn't fit in my mouth, a cheeky grin on my face. "Oh, don't have time for what, baby?"
I asked him, as his eyes darkened and he stared down at me. "Looks like you need some stress release, Daddy, and I'm all too happy to help you." I cooed, before wrapping my lips around his cock, my head moving up and down as I sucked him, hollowing my cheeks and moaning as his hands reached down all along my body.
I kept going, teasing him, bringing him to the brink, and then pulling back, slowly watching the thread that was his self-control snap as he finally hauled me up to my feet, his lips finding mine. His voice was dark as he ordered me, "Bend over my desk. Now." I shivered at the command in his tone and did as he instructed, getting a slap on my butt for my earlier sass.
I felt him push my skirt up over my hips and heard his groan again when he realized I wasn't wearing underwear. I knew he was close, and on the edge, and I wiggled my ass at him, my voice soft but bratty. "Are you gonna stare at my ass or are you gonna fuck me, Daddy?" I asked him, squealing when he smacked my ass again, and I bit my lips when he entered me in one smooth stroke, taking my breath away.
He took me hard and fast against the desk, his voice dark and teasing as he fucked me senseless. "Oh, not so brave now, are we?" He said, his thrusts even and slow. "I don't know if I should let you cum, after you sassed me so much. What happened to that brat who walked in here and took command? You get one taste of my cock and just go dumb?"
I couldn't do anything but groan, my fingers clutching his desk as he fucked me. Papers fell off his desk, the wood groaning under my weight as he slowly and steadily fucked me into it. His hand reached around covering my lips, his voice dark in my ear. "Quiet, sweetheart. Do you want the whole office to hear me in here, fucking you dumb?" He asked and I shook my head. "Good, that's a good girl."
He picked his pace up and I bit my lips to stifle my sounds as he fucked me. I could feel myself getting closer and closer to the edge, my walls clenching and fluttering around me as I neared my orgasm. "Come on, honey, let me in," Aaron said, as he reached around to rub my clit, sending me over the edge, and I clamped tightly around him as I came, his hand pressed tightly to my lips to keep my sounds inside, as he came inside me, pressing deep into me.
I was breathing heavily as he sank over me, hauling me upright and placing me on his lap with shaky legs. He pressed a kiss to my temple, his voice soft." Are you okay, baby?" I nodded. "Oh, yeah," I said as I turned to meet his eyes. "How about you? Feel better?" He nodded. "Thanks."
He let me up to fix my skirt and shirt and said as he tucked his softening cock back into his slacks. "What brought you to see me?" he asked, and I handed him a plate. "I made you lunch and came to tell you I'm ovulating, but then Derek said you were in a bad mood. So, I helped you feel better and maybe we've finally succeeded in making baby Hotchner."
I chuckled and he shook his head. "Yeah, and in my office no less." I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, it's one thing off my list." Aaron dug into his plate, raising an eyebrow at me. "Wait, you're telling me you wanted me to fuck you in here?" I nodded. "Why not? Bent over your desk, having to stay quiet as you fuck me senseless? Sounds like the best thing to me, and hey, now that we've done it, maybe we can do it again." I said teasingly, leaning over to kiss him.
He chuckled and I said, "Alright, I'm gonna go home. I have a few things to do before I go get Jack. I'll see you later. I love you." I said, and he nodded, kissing me again, "Love you too, Alice." He smacked my ass as I left, a warm, wide smile on my face as I left his office. I passed Derek where he was speaking with Emily and JJ and said, "I think you'll find Aaron's in a much better mood now."
I heard the three chuckle as I walked out. I knew it'd probably take a few more times until we finally made baby Hotchner, but I knew I'd have fun doing it.
