Since last year I've had this desire to go to chile and now i also wanna go to colombia

#peru has been like a long time place i wanna visit but these three places like really stand out #I'd also like on day to go to canada like toronto #also just like seattle and oregon #my mom and i have been saying that we're gonna go to Chicago for the past few years bc one of my tias lives there #and id love to explore more of mexico too like ay tantos lados 😭 #little windows

living in peru/mex for the past two months has really made me realize how much white americans+europeans actually stick out. like yes i hope you’re embarrassed ashamed and uncomfortable existing here.

#i hope these people feel a fraction of the otherness i feel living brown in the states. #this is not to say i dont miss the states. you cannot walk out in peru wearing anything skirts/dresses/etc if you present as masc. #also people are hella homophobic and transphobic lol #people are nicer in cdmx during the day time. ppl here are less inclined to b friendly or trusting. for good reason #it is also. not insanely safe here. there’s a reason majority of my family immigrated 😭 #habla txt

my sibling who speaks peruvian spanish as a second language and german barely at all having a spanish accent when she speaks german 🤝 me who speaks romanian as a second language having a very strong accent that sounds like it's from the romanian equivalent of texas when i speak romanian

Clayton

He’s one of the more… aloof villains of the park. Unlike the others who parade around the park giving backhanded compliments and insulting the elderly, Clayton tends to stay more on the sidelines.

I mean… the only thing he really liked to do was hunt, and he can’t exactly skewer any living creatures at the “happiest place on earth”

Though what he wouldn’t give to make a new coat out of that sardonically scarred lion…

With our beloved park attendant (Y/N), they found a couple ways to get along with him.

(Y/N) asked him about his hunting expeditions and his time in Victorian England

As much as (Y/N) hates the idea of killing for the sake of killing, Clayton can tell one hell of a story. He becomes super animated, hands waving around and voice super loud. He even got Gaston’s attention.

Other villains walked in on both (Y/N) and Gaston sitting crisscross applesauce on the floor as Clayton relayed the tale of his expedition in Peru like it was story time

He LOVES showing off his skills and strength, and what can I say, (Y/N) loves a show

As for the romantic aspect of Clayton and (Y/N)’s relationship, I believe Clayton fell first

Clayton was a man from Victorian England, where it was risqué for a women to show her ankles

Now imagine Clayton seeing (Y/N) in small summer wear attire, it is Florida/California after all…

During one of Clayton’s tantrums, he ended up screaming in (Y/N)’s face. And what did they do? They slapped him across the face, shocking him to silence

No one has ever dared lay a finger on him, and as (Y/N) immediately apologized to him he could only think one thing; “that was hot”

Clayton isn’t used to someone being genuinely interested in his past, and the way that (Y/N) looks at him when he retails his adventures keeps the Englishman up at night

It’s weird, but (Y/N) loves how big Clayton’s hands are, like they take one of his hands and covers their entire face with it, much to Clayton’s embarrassment

(Y/N) is now Clayton’s official backpack, they cling to this man as he walks around the park. Clayton loves showing off his strength and (Y/N) loves being carried

Alameda Slim

Cowboy time baby

Alameda is one of the most unknown villains, like no one cares

But (Y/N) does, (Y/N) always tries to get Alameda included with the Villains and park activities

Whenever there’s a big crowd, Alameda always gravitates to (Y/N)

The size difference between them omg

(Y/N) brings Alameda old country music records, he now has a whole milk crate filled with albums

Gives (Y/N) mini concerts, yodeling along to the records

They have movie nights together in the common area watching old westerns! Alameda always interrupts the movie pointing out all the inaccuracies

One time Alameda tried to show (Y/N) how to square dance, and accidentally made them go airborne when he tried to spin them around

(Y/N)’s super curious about Alamedas yodeling, does it only affect cows? They decided to experiment on a bunch of different animals around the park, much to the park goers dismay

Turned out the only other animal effected by yodeling is… pigeons

Alameda ended up running for his life, a horde of hypnotized pigeons chasing after him

(Y/N) ended up having to convince Alameda it was safe to go outside again, after he barricaded himself in his room

Alameda likes to plop his cowboy hat on (Y/N)s head when it gets to hot outside

aircorn headcanons because they make me unwell

anyway for those who dont know aircorn is Airy x Popcorn from Hfjone/Showvember. Yeah. Hear me out yall i swear—

ok anyway headcanon time (aka me rambling about two characters who have never even interacted and arent even from the same show)

・Popcorn is such a physically affectionate person. Airy being the touch starved guy he is takes a bit to warm up to it, but once he does he loves it.

・completely convinced airy is Popcorn’s gf he went to peru with in episode 2 i am prepared to fight over this

・they rented a cute little air bnb and went to the beach and ate at restaurants and bought sunglasses and and and!!!!!

・popcorn is such a kleptomaniac😭

・like she steals from everything but mainly airy. There’s a whole space in her closet dedicated to random shit she took from him. Plants, clothes, spoons, etc

・oh yeah popcorn got airy a house in her universe too (though they eventually just sell it since airy spends so much time at her house he basically lives with popcorn)

・Maybe like after he died he messed with the radio right but got it wrong and got sent to showvember instead and now he just lives there

・Popcorn makes all the decisions. Where to go, what to do etc. Sure Airy does have a say in it and could just go do something else if he wanted to but he’s chill with it so 🤷🏻

・She will randomly just pick him up and carry him around everywhere even though he’s taller than her 😭

・Airy is like. Stupidly ticklish. And Popcorn finds it so funny

・she’ll just sneak up behind him and poke the little button on his back and he shrieks and jumps three feet in the air and popcorn just cracks up

・Besides physical affection, popcorn’s love language is gift giving. Though most of her gifts are just things she wanted and will steal back later 💀

・they bake together!!!! They’re both really bad at it but it’s fun so it’s worth it

・they’re both so autistic to me (popcorns gotta side of adhd too)

・Airy is more sensitive to loud sounds and bright lights while Popcorn is more affected by smell and texture

・Popcorn is very spontaneous, but Airy likes to have a set routine so most schedules are a mess in their household.

i have such an elaborate noah/mirage fic idea but im not much of a writer and i don’t know where else to share this

ok but i had an idea of mirage dating noah in his holoform and i just had to expand more on it (fyi im not really sure how a holoform would work and once again please ignore any mistakes, i never written a fic before 😭)

Noah is a closeted gay man living in the 90’s and yearns to be with someone romantically. Mirage could tell by the way Noah looks at loving couples in public, especially during their leisure rides. A part of Mirage wishes he could be that for Noah but its hard especially since he is an alien robot much much bigger than Noah. He isn’t too sure how Noah would feel if he knew how he felt.

One day, mirage was looking through some magazine Noah brought and had an idea of creating the ideal holoform that could be with Noah. That could share comfort and love with.

It was all going so well. it started with a little meet cute and it became more, they started dating and sharing secret kisses in public. Mirage thought it was what he wanted. He thought he would be satisfied, but he never felt more lonely. the more time Noah spent with the holoform, the lesser time he did with mirage.

But he pushed through. he knew he couldn’t experience normal human dates with Noah in his alt form, so he took advantage of what he could.

He slipped up. He mentioned Peru during one of their human dates in his holoform and a sudden realization just hit Noah. Everything came crashing down. He left, trying to find mirage.

He was questioning everything they had went through together. Was what they had ever real? Was this some joke? Was he fated to never fall in love?

His head was spiraling into confusion and anger and he marched up to Mirage, eyes puffy and red as tears dripped down his cheeks He screamed and cried, begging mirage to explain why he did so. He wanted to know why. he wanted to know if this prank was funny to mirage. He wanted to know if it was all worth it, especially after breaking his heart.

After his rage has calmed, Mirage admits that he created the holoform with be with Noah, but it was not to play with his heart. He wanted to be with Noah, he yearned having Noah by his side and creating a holoform was the closest he could get. he admitted everything and assured Noah that what he said and did through his holoform was 100% genuine.

Noah’s sobs were calmer as he looked at Mirage with his tired eyes. He didn’t know what to say. Deep down he knew he had some feelings for the alien robot but it was already hard to process his feelings as a gay man, so he pushed those feelings away. Being with Mirages’s holoform, which he didn’t know before, made it easier for him to move on because it felt normal. But now knowing it was mirage all along..he felt a little confused.

Noah admits to himself that being with ‘him’ was the best thing that ever happened to his life. He wanted to experience that again. He wanted to love and feel loved, with someone real this time.

Someone who was already right under his nose. or perhaps above his head in this sense.

Meanwhile, Mirage waits for an answer. Despite what Noah will say, Mirage chooses to respect it. He understands and doesn’t want to push any more boundaries. He doesn’t want to lose his friend. his friend which made his life on earth more exciting than it has ever been during his 7 years being stuck on this planet.

Noah finally speaks. He asks mirage to lean closer with his meekly voice, quiet and dry after sobbing his heart out.

Mirage complies and waits for Noah’s rejection. Instead he received a soft peck on his lips, which made his engine fan whir loudly. Noah smiles earnestly as he places his hand on mirage’s cheek.

Noah rested his forehead on mirage’s and they both stayed silent as they embrace each other’s presence.

No words were said but everything felt right when they were together.

I’m going to sob, this entire idea is so so so good, as much as I love mirage being comfortable as himself to be with Noah, the idea that he wants what’s normal for Noah just hits different.

I feel like they’d very occasionally still have Holoform dates, granted no where near as often as before Noah found out the truth.

Do you have any headcannons on what Max, Nikki, and Neil could do separately when they’re older? Like hc’s for them individually

But weither you mean career or just overall character wise I totally get it, Nikki and Neil (Neil especially) and often just reduced to Max's buddies 😭 and although future AUs where they're working at camp can be cute I personally find them?? Really sad?? None of them would want to be there and Neil specifically had so many ambitions? Max would never want to work with children or nature or physical labor or (continues forever) and although Nikki might like some aspects tremendously, she'd still have to do activities like science camp ect she doesn't like.

I personally only think it works if that's acknowledged and maybe it's only a highschool summer job. But anyways as always I'm really excited to get asked my HCs n really appreciate it 💖💖

Neil after graduating from some prestigious collage actually took a break for awhile. He LOVES science and had been devoting his whole life to it, finding which specific field to go into was a struggle all on it's own. He wanted to try living his life and trying other things first before he settled on a soild career. It was during this time of relaxation/hobbie hopping that he was approached to lead a team that would secretly study 'magical' anomalies and try to find out the logic behind the mystery. It's government run and he's not allowed to tell anyone, alot of moral greyness involved in it but finding an "awnser for the so called paranormal" and more funding then he's ever had before really excites him. He finds time for alot more hobbies he's acquired now as well. He's still a gaint nerd and plays fallout and goes to comiccon in elaborate cosplay.

Nikki lives kinda floating from place to place. She grows and hunts her own food, doesn't have a steady job but when she decides she needs money and it's more than she ask friends or family for she'll take on a few odd jobs around one town or the next. Life has become this constant adventure and she goes everywhere she can by very whacky means. Collects ridiculous stories this way. "I once rowed down Niagra Falls in a duck shaped floatie." "I successfully mailed myself to Peru but I was trying to get to Turkey."

Max goes from not really caring about or having much interest in anything to becoming a workaholic at his job, a criminal detective. He's somewhat flimsy and careless with hisown life mostly because he's chasing the adrenaline rush from the situations he gets himself into. Figuring out cases gives him that high of being right and smarter than the people around him aswell. It took him awhile to find it but this has always been his calling he believes.

As continuation of my last post:

Raphael, Mori, Pepper, and Joe are all POC, but they never seemed to be shown connecting/enjoying their cultural background?? There wasn't anything specifically cultural their characters seemed to be doing. I know these things might not be relevant to the story NP wants to tell but it isn't so hard to throw in a line about their heritage.

You could argue it wouldn't be her place or she wouldn't want to offend but she writes gay men.. And the women she DOES write, well we know.

I think the CLOSEST we EVER had to discussion of cultural identity is when Matsumoto tells Thaniel of his insecurities of being Japanese but living in England. He felt like he didn't belong in either world and literally I FELT THAT!!! But it was such a small scene and he hasn't brought it up again nor was there another scene like it with any other POC (correct me if im wrong but i dont think Pepper even HAD a thought like that)

First, the entirety of Bedlam takes place in Peru but nothing culturally significant stands out. I hate that Raphael, a literal symbol of the one thing his people revere the most, hates on his own people?? Merrick literally had to defend them 😭

Second, TLFOP legitmally takes place in Japan. It's a completely DIFFERENT PLACE THAN ENGLAND RIGHT? AND YET, idk, I feel Natasha tried to relate it too much to England?? There are traditions even Thaniel would need to follow when living in a place like Yoruji, a place one would expect a lot of rules to be upheld.

Third, a central part Joe's story IS IDENTITY, maybe not cultural but throughout the novel he didn't know who he really was. Natasha made him half-Chinese, therefore like any biracial person, his cultural identity lies in 3 communities -- his English side, his Chinese side, and his biracial self. The fact that she didn't even acknowledge those last two till the end is a bit disappointing. Not sure…a lot of things? Accomplishing my goals, keeping in touch with friends (old and new), make friends in real life bc all my friends live in other countries and i still need to figure out how things work in this country, going to college, being able to eat at least the paleo diet bc i’m so tired of the AIP diet which is so restrictive and makes it so hard to choose food when I’m eating outside my home (like, currently i can break my diet once a month but i’ve been doing this diet since I was like 12 so it’s been a long time and I don’t want to go back to having weird health problems again especially when I don’t have my clinic anymore), traveling, seeing my siblings grow up, get back to being close with my aunt, visiting Peru again and visit Cusco since I have never gone there even if I was forced to learn about Machu Picchu in school almost every year in primary school (at least I did get to see the Nasca lines before leaving the country), and idk, having fun in general and keep learning? Being able to be comfortable talking in English and without any worries about getting tripped up (I talk really fast in Spanish). And...I’m probably forgetting stuff but that's all I can think of right now lol

I saw Louis in my city!!!

Ever since that boy stepped in Peru, Lima has been WAY TOO SUNNY for autumn/winter! Usually, Lima is very gray with minimun sunlight during this time of the year, but the sun really came out the days Louis was here, and I'm so happy because the city looked extra beautiful (he also stayed in one of the fanciest places in the city near the beach and the hotel had a pool so I hope he took advantage of it).

I couldn't get the day off yesterday because I was on holiday last week, so my chances of queuing early were none (I wasn't planing on going in the morning either way but I didn't want to go late). Because of work (adult life sucks) I arrived at the venue around 7pm (also the venue is far away from where I live, it took me an hour to get there), expecting everyone to already be inside because doors opened at 6pm, but I was surprised to see a very long long line that circled the Mall (the venue is inside a mega huge mall). I waited for my friends to arrived and we waited closed to the entrance until everybody got in, but after a while we realized it was better if we just queued😩. At the end we entered around 8:30pm when Sunroom was already playing so we missed the majority of their set. Since there was time till Louis started, I bought merch (the black t-shirt with the red eye) and then just waited with my friends for the concert to star 😄

He was late 😅 like for 10 minutes I think? but soon enough we saw the band getting on stage and the lights and We Made It started playing and then HE GOT ON STAGE and MY GOD!!!! I couldn't see him properly because I was almost in the back haha but the screens helped a lot!! (I saw jdelf🔪…) And I have to mention here how important and relevant was to start the concert with that song for us Peruvians because I know many Peruvians Louies fought very hard to have Louis here in our country which often is not included in tours 🥺. It was extra special and I was super emocional during that song. The energy in the venue was great since the start, specially during the 1D songs... which tbh I didn't mind because I know the fanbase is still very much 1D focused, but they totally made the concert about HIM. I didn't see any signs about a 1D reunion or about any ship or any dolls that weren't Louis, at least in my section, and that made me so happy because I was quite scared since I know how popular that ship is here in Peru (someone even mentioned it in the news but I won't focus on that), and from the photos I've seen of the barricade, I think the focus all the time was on Louis, which is how it's supposed to be.

I was sort of surprised that many didn't know the lyrics of Change(s) or Copy, but then I realized maybe it's because most of the people around me seemed like casual fans (not very much invested in the personal life or obvs not into deep in the fandom as me haha) and maybe they didn't even watch any livestreams before. At the end I realized it didn't matter that not everyone sang the new songs, because when Louis asked us to scream we delivered. I was also a bit concerned about the outdoor venue because a close one helps with the acoustic of the screams and the noise (and I wanted us to be super loud), but the crowd really came through!!! like the energy was amazing, super fun and electric and you could tell everyone there loved Louis.

I have to mention how special hearing Change(s) felt this time, as well as DLIBYH. Mainly because for a while I was feeling a bit meh about many things, including my job and in times the fandom, like for a bit I was feeling way too many things and many aspects started to bothered me way more that they should... I'm rambling haha... I feel way better now, like I think I needed this leg of the tour to happen to feel this energy, to feel Louis close to us, and those two songs are just... so great 😭 so comforting. Even my friend who didn't listen to Change(s) before said it was the best song, lyrically and emotionally and that she can't wait for the next album to come out (honestly same haha).

Now... Michael... what the hell??!!! he is so HOT!!! playing his guitar, being all daddy on stage and then all shy when fans approach him in the streets. Like everyone was always screaming for him, specially me and my friends haha like the thirst for Mikey is real (Louis would approve, I know it). My friend already follows him on insta and says he is a hottie 🥵

I loved being there with one of my best friends! since I'm always second guessing everything I was thinking maybe she wasn't going to enjoy it that much since she isn't fan of Louis like me, but I was surprised to see that she knew every song in Walls and that she loved the concert and that now she is hopefully closer to being a Louie 🫢 The other friends I was with were also happy and jumping and singing at the top of their lungs, and they just made the whole experience a great one!! I felt so young again!!

Last but not least, experiencing this in my own country was extra especial and even though I wasn't anywhere near him as I was in Buenos Aires, this felt different because ... this is where I live, this is where I was born, where I've lived most of my life... Louis WAS HERE??? AND HE LOVED IT? HE KEPT SAYING "LIMA/PERU" AND MY HEART COULDN'T TAKE IT? LIKE HE WAS THE SWEETEST VOICE??!!! And he was so baby yesterday, clean shaved and in his baggy shirt and his almost tight black jeans, and he kept saying that he felt our love, that our country was beautiful and he just has my heart you know? he already had it but now he has it more 😩

So yeah... this was long and I could probably write more but I just want to close this by saying that every time I think I couldn't be more proud of Louis, he shows me that I can. Yesterday was magical, healing, lovely. I wish Louis the very best all the time, and I hope he knows, I hope he knows how much we love him and how much he deserves this because he does❤️

Hallmark Christmas movie but everyone has dragons and nobody points it out for the entirety of the movie? Toothless & Teethyes? you, you get it, but it's all just playing on screen, it's just a montage of all your storyboards collaged together with early 2000's bruno mars playing, maybe Mamma Mia by ABBA
