Any thoughts you have on Wendee Lee?

She did Veronica, Lyn, Sophia and the new voice for Emmeryn (replacing Erin Fitzgerald).

Outside of it, she’s Athena from Ace Attorney and Melony in Pokèmon Masters EX

So fun fact, a couple of hours ago I was LITERALLY 95% done typing the review to this ask... and then Tumblr deleted ALL of it after I switched from one tab to another on my phone.

This is partially why I usually try to answer these on my computer. ;w;

BUT ANYWAYS, let's see if I can't rebuild what I mostly typed up.

Ok so... I LIKE Wendee Lee. But when it comes to FEH, I have some issues with her work in FEH. 50% of it isn't her, honestly; it's being cast as characters who are pretty similar in energy, so I get that it's hard to differentiate. I like some of her work outside of FEH, I haven't been able to play it (RIP) but from the clips I've seen, I enjoyed her role as Trish from DMC 5.

I'll try to break it down a bit. Wendee Lee plays Veronica, Lyn, Maria, Sophia, and now plays Emmeryn.

So performance is... all right. But sometimes it feels like her line deliveries are repetitive. Especially her lines as Emmeryn, two of them start off as "I am" and I swore I thought they were the same line until the rest of the audio played out. But Veronica, Sofia, and Emmeryn are very dead-pan in their delivery; I get it, Veronica is supposed to be disconnected. It's just that if you mixed their audio lines and asked me to guess who's speaking which line, I wouldn't be able to tell you because their deliveries sound so similar. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt in that it's the notoriously inconsistent voice directing that happens in FEH, but that's only a part of it. I will say though that with Maria and Lyn, their deliveries are a little more up-beat at the least, and I think Easter Maria's line where she gushes about her outfit is cute. And I DO like Brave Veronica's "There, there", like she's trying to be a good ally to the Order, but she's super awkward about it. Part of the issues though, at least with Lyn and Emmeryn, is that I tend to lean more towards what I've initially heard with them, Awakening with Emmeryn and Smash Bros with Lyn. I know Lyn's supposed to be a teenager and that Smash Bros voice was probably WAY too mature, but if Wendee could have compromised a little by leaning into her Trish voice, I could see that working out better for the performance.

I do think she fits everyone she played, though I also remember your ask with Lizzie Freeman, and I still stand by that she would have been a better fit for Veronica. But Wendee's not a BAD choice for Veronica, just... not the best when you hear Thrasir.

I have to be honest, there's not a whole lot of range going on with Wendee's characters. She's kind of got the Greg Chun issue where all her performances sound the same. Again, part of that I blame on the voice directing for not catching that and just going "Yeah that's good" instead of having her switch it up a bit, but that reasoning only goes so far.

I hate doing this, but for Wendee I'd have to give her a 7/10. Again, outside of FEH her work is stellar and I like it, but I think it's FEH's format that kind of holds her back.

1995's Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is directed by Joe Chappelle (Phantoms) and written by Daniel Farrands (The Girl Next Door). Donald Pleasence, Paul Rudd, Marianne Hagan, and Mitch Ryan star.

1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later is directed by Steve Miner (Friday the 13th Part 2 & 3) and written by Matt Greenberg (1408) and Robert Zappia. Jamie Lee Curtis, Adam Arkin, Michelle Williams, Adam Hann-Byrd, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Janet Leigh, Josh Hartnett, LL Cool J, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt star.

2002’s Halloween: Resurrection is directed by Rick Rosenthal (Halloween II) and written by Sean Hood (Conan the Barbarian) and Larry Brand. Busta Rhymes, Bianca Kajlich, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Ryan Merriman, Sean Patrick Thomas, Tyra Banks, and Jamie Lee Curtis star.

All three films have been newly scanned in 4K from the original camera negative. They’re presented in in Dolby Vision (HDR 10 compatible) with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and Stereo options.

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers includes both the theatrical and producer’s cuts in 4K. Joel Robinson designed the new cover art for each movie; the original posters are on the reverse side. Extras are listed below.

January 2019

Summary: I had just started my final spring semester of college and I was barely hanging on going to my internship, classes, prepping for my last shows for the semester, going to my job, cutting out a very toxic friend out of my life, grappling with the unraveling of coming out not of my own accord to my parents, and so many other things that I didn’t even want to even start thinking about.

At the time I felt so small and scared about everything going on around me because I felt so ill prepared for the future. I had no idea what I should be doing and how I was going to even accomplish any of the things I wanted to do. Heck. I didn’t even know if I was going to even be able to achieve any of it.

It just all seemed so impossible and everyone else seemed to have some kind of plan for the future on what they were going to do next and excited about us all leaving. It felt like no one noticed how upset or sad I was about how our journey was coming to an end and we were all going to have to live out separate lives. Even though, that wasn’t true at all. It was still how I felt at the time and this playlist reflects all of my feelings at the time.

My own little retrospective. Part one

Best characters

This’ll be in no particular order. Many who aren’t featured are either ones I don’t remember or I wasn’t watching when they were in the show. But be warned. I’m a Pierce Greyson fan and a Nicolette Stone hater.

Daniel Robinson. He was Kylie Minogue’s son played by Sean Herman from ouat. What did you expect?

Paul Robinson. He should’ve been more unscrupulous. It’s what he deserved

Pierce Greyson. He’s Chloe’s should’ve been.

Madison Robinson. Her and her parents should’ve been in the finale together

Curtis Perkins. He was fun

Jesse Porter. They should’ve kept him around longer

Sam Young. Two months was not enough

Kyle Canning. Character development was unmatched

Kiri Durante. It’s a travesty that she ended up with Nicolette

Toadie Rebecchi. He more than deserved his ending with Melanie

Sonya Rebecchi. I will always hate how they killed her off

Callum Rebecchi. Just like Kyle. His character development was unmatched

Harlow Robinson. Especially during her compassion fatigue arc

Leo Tanaka. He was like Paul but with better hair

Amy Williams. Mostly because she looked like Natalie Portman.

Lauren Turner. So much better than Terese

Brad Willis. It’s just a shame that some of his kids were complete jerks.

Lou Carpenter. He was funny. Especially his rivalry with Sheila

Harold Bishop. How can you hate Harold?

Kate Ramsey. Her death was a great episode

Mark Brennan. He should’ve been ballistic a lot more than he was.

Aaron Brennan. One of the few lgbt characters they didn’t completely mishandle.

Tyler Brennan. I liked his original hair

Chloe Brennan. He should’ve gotten back with Pierce at the end

Mackenzie Hargreaves. Again. One of the few lgbt characters they didn’t mishandle

Chris Pappas. He deserved a boyfriend in the finale

David Tanaka. If only he weren’t so harsh to Paul

Jimmy Williams. One of the few who never expected more than Paul was capable of

Lucas Fitzgerald. I don’t remember much but I do remember him being a bit of a badass sometimes

Ben Kirk. Before Xanthe got to him at least.

Susan Kennedy. Mother hen par excellence

Karl Kennedy. His “music career” notwithstanding.

Melanie Pearson. She what Toadie needed in the end

Shaun Watkins. Deserved better than the family he had

Finn Kelly. Don’t worry. He’ll also be in the next list.

Levi Canning. I’ll never forgive Zara for what she tried to accuse him of.

Sheila Canning. Her overprotectiveness notwithstanding

Yashvi Rebecchi. Badass.

Ned Willis. When he moved on from Lauren of course.

Steph Scully. The way she punk’d Paul after he gaslit her was a stroke of genius.

Donna Freeman. She was one of Paul’s unofficial children.

Bridget Napier. The way she did was sad

Declan Napier. He should’ve stuck around longer

Rebecca Napier. She is the one who pushed Paul after all.

Oliver Barnes. Iirc correctly he was a good guy

Ringo Brown. The way he died was also sad.

Gary Canning. His death was right out of the hunger games.

Sky Mangel. She should’ve stayed instead of Nicolette Stone.

Sophie Ramsey. Everyone needs a good rebellious arc

Zeke Kinski. He was so kind with the way he turned down Sophie

Rhys Lawson. He was a prick. But he was funny

Summer Hoyland. Again. I don’t remember much. But the 2010’s version was good.

Madge Bishop. Her appearance in the 30th was amazing.

Bailey Turner. The was he was targeted by Gemma Reeves was horrifying.

Mason Turner. Mostly because his actor was on the h2o spin-off.

Amy Greenwood. I loved how she pissed off Dipi

Jack Callahan. One of only two main priests on the show and he was definitely the most interesting.

Paige Smith. Amazing secret baby plot. Twice.

Jane Harris. Away from her black hole of a daughter that is.

Byron Stone. Nothing will ever beat the scene where he told his mother he was a hooker for older women

Lyn Scully. The cat fight she had with Rebecca was hilarious.

Robert Robinson. Great villain. But like Finn he’ll also on the next list

Clive Gibbons. Not just a gorilla gram anymore.

Nate Kinski. I remember him being kind a lot of the time.

Amber Turner. Apart from the Robbo plot line of course

Georgia Brooks. Most of the extended Rebecchi family were great and she was no exception.

Angie Rebecchi. Battle axe supreme

Stingray Timmins. His death scene was amazing

Dylan Timmins. He had his moments but he was alright.

Mike Young. Only saw him in two episodes but I liked him

Piper Willis. Although her sleeping with Angus was a severe lapse in judgement

Jay Rebecchi. He was a good kid. An idiot. But a good kid

Shane Rebecchi. I’ll never forgive Dipi for what she did to him

Dee Bliss. It’s not her fault her biological mother and sister were criminally insane

Willow Sommers. Toadie should’ve formally adopted her

Nell Rebecchi. She’s gone through a lot in her short life

Hugo Rebecchi. Again. It’s not his fault that the woman that gave birth to him was criminally insane

Libby Kennedy. If it weren’t for the surrogacy storyline.

Kirsha Rebecchi. She was a good kid

Roxy Willis. Apart from the nudism that is.

Andrew Robinson. It’s safe to say that most of the Robinson’s will end up here

Jim Robinson. I loved his two returns to call his son out

Jade Mitchell. Good addition to the Rebecchi family

Dane Canning. Decent temporary substitute for Kyle

Des Clarke. He was a bit clueless but he was alright

Hilary Robinson. One of the only people who can worry Paul

Beverly Robinson. One of the few characters without an agenda

Lucy Robinson. Apart from the whole Glen thing I mean

Elly Conway. I didn’t like her ending but she didn’t get on with Imogen which is a plus in my book

Bea Nilsson. She could’ve been nicer to Levi though.

Faye Brennan. It’s not her fault her husband was a monster.

Andrew Rodwell. He was far more grounded than his wife was.

Shane Ramsey. He was alright. He should’ve asked Paul about the shadiness though

Malcolm Kennedy. Like father like son. Terrible taste in blondes

Gabe Smith. He was adorable with all that hair

Elle Robinson. She tried to help look for Zeke.

Doug Willis. I liked him better than Josh.

Matt Turner. I like Brad and Lauren together. But it’s shame he had to die for it to happen.

Scott Robinson. He did shockingly little in the finale.

Charlene Robinson. She should’ve sung the theme song at the end.

Hey everyone, the latest update for the Sims 4: Chaos Hours save file has landed! Here’s Operation Neon Fist!...

The focus character for this really big update is Aruni from Rainbow Six: Siege who is about to do a Fortnite dance emote. Admittedly she is one of the difficult operators to implement in the save file due to prosthetic custom content being rather rare. I tried to make her look as close as possible to the source material.

Joining in this update are the following:

- The playable cast of Final Fantasy VIII consisting of Squall, Rinoa, Irvine, Quistis, Zell and Selphie

- A lot of Genshin Impact characters. Lisa was revealed way earlier in a bowling alley. The rest of the new additions are Klee, Barbara, Sucrose, Jean, Zhongli, Tartaglia, Diluc and Venti.

- Gordon Freeman from Half Life joins the party!

- Gambit of the X-Men also joins in this update. Rogue is to be added on the next update.

- Ellis from Left 4 Dead also joins here. A note though, he’s a downloaded Sim from MTS.

- Sam Wilson a.k.a the Falcon finally swoops into this madness. He’s with a very interesting crowd.

- Carlos and Jill from Resident Evil also joins in this update. As you can see, they’re playing arcade games with Ellis.

- The Fire Emblem side of the roster adds Lucina and her father, Chrom from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Also there’s Lyn from Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword, Azura and Female Corrin from Fire Emblem: Fates and lastly, Female Robin who is also from FE: Awakening.

This update also brings in a huge change to the townies too. There are now plenty of townies running around in the save file for maximum chaos. xD
