How to plan your time better (and stop procrastinating)

‧˚₊⋅ ୨୧ ⋅₊˚‧

I've always struggled with this, I seriously thought something was wrong with me, but I realized I was menaging my time wrong, so here's some tips on how I recently learned how to menage time and what I learnt from my mistakes!

୨୧divide your goals୨୧

you need to make a list for your work goals(if you work), your school goals(if you go to school) and your personal goals, in another pile you need to write down your meetings or night outs

୨୧get the right materials୨୧

this works better in paper, you just need an agenda(if you can get one with all monthly, weekly and daily sections), a pen, some colored perns, pencil, markers or whatever, it needs to be colored and a monthly calendar for the years, which have to stay at home.

୨୧set monthly goals୨୧

For the first step you need to focus on the general picture, so, how do you want your month to be like? write down that list in your agenda and in your calendar also write down all your tests and work meetings, your monthly goals need to be general and long and now let's move to the next point

୨୧set weekly goals୨୧

time for the week! how do you want your week to be like? your weekly goals need to be long term but easy and you need to set both your dates and your work goals for example: "for this day I have to sign this paper, compleate all my summaries etc.." or " I will go to Miniso and Sephora with my friends" and you will sign the day.

example:

This week I'll study history -> This week I'll study and compleate 1 chaper of history

୨୧set daily goals୨୧

daily goals need to be extra specific for example:

Today I'll study history -> Today I'll read and study 20 pages of History

୨୧Get help୨୧

You can ask someone close to help you remember to check your agenda or plan a study group/meeting or simply ask others if there's any even for the time to come

୨୧Set a time୨୧

This is very useful for people that tend to feel discouraged, just write for how long you're going to do the task example:

Study math for 45min or study math from 16:45 - 18:00

Complete the power point between 18:00-19:30

୨୧Color Code the activities୨୧

When planning associating each activity with a color it helps you remember better and find the task easily.

୨୧DO NOT STRESS ABOUT MISSING SOMETHING୨୧

planning it's just a tool to menage your task in a easier way, do not stress about it, just spread your activities across the week and you are good!

[wanderer!scara, modern au!scara x gn!reader] fluff, pinches of angst, mentioned mommy issues and trust issues !!

modern au scara !!

Scara is definitely a band kid and in my opinion, he'd absolutely be an electric bassist. He carries around the band-aids you gave him so he can use one whenever his fingertips get cut from the tough strings of the instrument.

Scara loves judging everybody in his classes and making people uncomfortable because he's a menace like that. His narrowed sapphire gaze following certain people with ill thoughts and a slight grimace; you already know he's judging them real hard.

It's simply impossible for him to go a day, no, even an hour, without his headphones and downloaded music from his favourite artists. Scara's music taste consists mostly of Chase Atlantic, Artic Monkeys, TV Girl, Cigarettes After Sex and he's a closeted Mitski listener.

Mommy issues and miscommunication trope with Ei. Scara aspires to be anything else but the occupation Ei suggested for him. Ei compares Scara to his sister, Raiden, without knowing it hurts Scara's feelings because she's bad at communicating and getting her words right overall.

Shops at Hot Topic and Miniso. Miniso, because he only goes there for the Kuromi stuff that reminds him of you (since you're always telling him how you and him are literally Kuromi and Badtzmaru) and Hot Topic is self-explanatory.

Adding onto the Kuromi and Badtzmaru topic. Ever since you made that comment, Scara ended up loving that specific pair of cute Sanrio characters. He now owns a Badtzmaru hoodie (yours is a Kuromi one: hashtag couple goals), five Kuromi figures and more than thirty things consist of Badtzmaru in his bedroom.

Scara's bedroom is neat but messy at the same time. The room is fairly big and he has his bassist on its stand in the corner of the room with a huge Badtzmaru plushie sitting on the floor by it. His bed is filled with your gifts of plushies from past dates or occasions.

Scara has an area dedicated to his favourite music artists with posters of their albums plastered to the black painted wall. You bought him TV Girl's French Exit vinyl for his birthday, which he always plays on the record player whenever you come over or when he's missing you (by missing you, I mean whenever you're not with him).

Everytime you mention a new song you like, Scara immediately learns it on his bass so he can impress you. You find it so cute how these little gestures of his are all for your compliments and affection when all he could do is breathe and you'd be head over heels for him.

Scara is unfiltered, cunning and a tease. He'll say whatever he wants at any given time and doesn't mind what people think at all (he fights back the urge to rock someone's shit when they disagree with him.) He's your cute little drama queen.

genshin au scara (wanderer) !!

Wanderer's favourite time of day is when the sun starts to set and he gets to have his long awaited tea time with you. You know the perfect way on how to make his tea and it's so natural to the point of when Wanderer tastes any other tea, it just can't compare to the way you make it.

Despite loving you very dearly, and he'd never admit this last bit aloud, he still has some sort of doubt against you. Should something happen to you that marks your permanent disappearance that neither you or him could prevent, what would he do? Wanderer simply does not know. And he certainly wouldn't want to know.

Wanderer enjoys the feeling of your hands in his hair. Whether your hands are soft, rough, cold, or warm, he doesn't mind. He just loves feeling your gentle and affectionate touch against his head as you play with his hair or even braid some strands together.

In general, Wanderer loves physical touch. Holding hands, soft kisses and hugs; It's all so wonderful to him. It makes him feel wanted and loved, like you actually think of him dearly. He loves it especially when you initiate it first. After that, he'll be more than comfortable doing it without waiting for you to do it ahead of him.

Wanderer keeps all of the silly trinkets, gifts and letters you've given him in a box that's kept in a very safe place where no one knows, not even you. Everytime he comes across it, unknowingly to him, a soft smile forms on his lips as he remembers the fact that he's this important to you.

Wanderer absolutely adores it when he makes you smile or laugh. He'll proudly smirk and throw in a teasing remark at this but is hiding the fact that he's just an embarrassed doll with an adorable lover. He loves making you feel good, both verbally and physically, as it feeds his ego and reassures him that he's doing great at being your beloved.

Wanderer's gifts for you are usually handmade, like the cute doll that looks like you which he got to keep so he could give you a doll that looks like him in return. He loves seeing you carry the doll around with you when you want to take it out of your messenger bag, holding it so gently as if it were Wanderer himself.

Whenever you're not paying attention, Wanderer looks at you and observes you. He loves noticing new little things about you, like the way you make little popping noises with your lips when you're bored or the way you subconsciously reach out to hold onto his hand. He adores every, single, little thing.

Wanderer often finds himself trying to impress you. If he sees you walking about, he'll immediately find something heavy to pick up and "coincidentally" run into you so he can make sure you see his amazing skills. You find this habit of his somewhat adorable as you smile and praise him for his strengths. He ends up getting quite flustered, in the end.

Depending on Wanderer's mood, he'll be very flirty one moment or very shy the next. If you manage to outdo him with his charming comments, trust me, he turns into the cutest blushing mess ever. He'll look away as he denies your question about whether he became timid or not.

This might be a bit of a silly question and I hope you don't mind, but where would you recommend buying figurines from? You might get them from irl stores, but I've been trying for so long to find info on where to buy figurines lmao. I'm in the UK and we don't have many stores that sell that kind of thing irl, so.

Anyway, on a more genuine note, I really love your art. It reminds me of graphic novels I'd see in the library as a kid :) it feels very authentic and I love hearing about what you have planned and stuff. Seeing you making your own stuff is a really big inspiration (as someone with AuDHD who feels like drawing a single comic panel is a mountain of an achievement lmao) hope you have a good winter!

For figurines I kind of lucked out having a shop nearby that’s is like 90% blind box figures 😅

I know though you could get them online, either directly from the brands (like Finding Unicorn and Pop Mart) or from people reselling them, though I definitely do t recommend the resellers since they just price whatever they want

For in person stores I’ve seen them at Miniso, Hot Topic/Box Lunch, and Barnes and Noble but selection is very limited and I do not know where else they are located

I bought an Ufufy blind bag at Miniso yesterday. I really wanted The White Rabbit but I got Thumper who's really cute too!

I'm not a big fan of the Ufufy plushies (I don't have any) but they are really nice as little flocked figures! They are perfect for Easter and reminds me of Sylvanian Families a bit (I'll probably used it as a decoration for their village or as a big plushy for them)

One! There was ONE Rainbow Brite figure when I went to 5 Below, and it was the one I really wanted!! Stormy!! Plus, here’s some other assorted cute finds, from Miniso and Home Goods! I barely found anything I wanted at this 5 Below, I was quite sad! No puffy pony stickers, and only one pony keychain! But I found another zooming Rainbow Dash dog toy, of all things! 🤣 Its great there’s so much variety of Barbie goodies out in the wild, I wish MLP would capitalize on their brand like that too! Then again, my wallet would suffer… 🤣

some fun things that me & my cousin did in paris while he came to visit:

- visit the catacombs of paris. really cool! not only do you get to see walls of real human skulls, there’s also morbid poetry by historical figures to go along with it :)

- attempt the world’s first 2-person celeste speedrun à la piano four hands (spoiler: it’s not very speed)

- compare the prices of every boba shop in a 200m radius around us before the disillusioned realisation that they’re all equally overpriced hits 

- we still got boba tho🤭

- in a pull&bear we spotted a pink baseball cap that said “great fan”. we chose to interpret this as referring to an electric fan of considerable size

- a running joke is created

- went to the galeries lafayette: came for the windowshopping experience, stayed for the magnificent ceiling dome (got the pic from google)

- visit the musée carnavalet, a museum of the history of paris. it’s probably one of the best museums in paris: free entrance for all, 4 floors worth of artifacts dating from antiquity to the contemporary age, some really really famous and historically significant pieces, especially of the french revolution era, like THE déclaration des droits de l’homme et du citoyen(!!) the garden is super lovely as well

- walk through the bois de boulogne forest to the arc de triomphe, then proceeding to climb it—you get a pretty nice view of the 12 radiating avenues and a bunch of paris landmarks

- go on what was probably the most useless supermarket run ever: i got a pack of sandwiches and my cousin got a pack of gum that literally cost the same price. guess which one we ended up eating for lunch that day (somebody call bella hadid)

- waited in line to enter the “quirky” and “legendary” shakespeare & company bookshop. im lowkey salty that it’s no longer niche and probably tiktok famous now cause 2 years ago the idea that you’d have to queue to get in was completely absurd

- on a positive note: we hogged the piano for like 20 mins lmao. one pedal was busted but they had the sheet for tchaikovsky’s june so it’s a slay for me 💅

- oh we also played the piano in the aforementioned supermarket. cause it’s totally normal to have a piano lying around in a supermarket here

- bought matching plushies at miniso! we of course named them “great” and “fan”
