When a Sorcerer Turns Into a Cat…
-> Ao3 link is here.
-> Catsung art.
-> Another art for the last scene.
-> Lovely art by @inienil
Pairing : Shang Tsung x Reader
Tropes : Fluff and Humor, Idiots in Love, Confessions, First Kiss, Friends to Lovers, Kind of Secret Identity?
Summary : When Shang Tsung crafted a potion for invisibility, he was unprepared for the peculiar result—he unexpectedly transformed into a cat. Struggling to navigate the world on four paws, he sought refuge, and that’s precisely when you entered the scene.
As the only person Shang Tsung trusted, he reached out to you, desperately in need of help. Oblivious to his true identity, you unwittingly revealed some truths about your feelings as you welcomed the unexpected guest into your home.
Author’s Note: I had so much fun when I was writing this. I always thought Shang Tsung behave like a sassy cat and seeing memes about it, this fic came to life. Hope you guys like it too, happy reading! .
.
.
He should never have made that potion.
About a day ago, he received the recipe for the invisibility potion from a small, dimly lit shop nestled in a mysterious corner of the city. The shop, selling peculiar items of unknown origin, offered him the recipe at an unbelievably low price, almost as if fate had handed him a golden ticket.
Despite a nagging suspicion that something wasn’t quite right, he was low on funds and had little else to trade Invisibility, a coveted skill he had long yearned to master, promised an escape from the ongoing misery of his life.
Eagerly, he returned to his humble trailer, carefully following the recipe’s instructions. The resulting potion, a dark purple concoction with a nauseating odor, made him gag even before it touched his lips. Disregarding the unpleasantness, he gulped it down in one go. Initially, only the repulsive taste assaulted his senses, but as seconds morphed into minutes, and his body stubbornly remained visible, frustration and realization set in – he had been duped.
Uttering a string of curses, he nervously set the bottle on the table, and then, suddenly, the world around him seemed to expand. No, he corrected himself; it was he who was shrinking. Panic seized him as his body crumbled at an alarming rate. Clothes, once fitting, now engulfed him like a collapsing tent. His limbs betrayed him, refusing to respond as he grappled with the unfolding chaos.
When he finally managed to disentangle himself from the heap of clothes, he was sent tumbling down the steps of his trailer, only to land unceremoniously in a puddle a short distance away.
Drenched from head to toe, he couldn’t hold back a frustrated ‘‘Fuck!’’ as he flung his wet hair away. However, amidst his exclamation, an unexpected sound reached his ears – a distinct ‘’Meow!’’
Shang Tsung’s world ground to a halt. ‘’Meow?’’ he echoed, utterly perplexed.
Gazing at his reflection in the puddle, he hoped desperately that it was all a dream. The creature staring back at him couldn’t be real. Two pairs of pointed ears, long black whiskers, a tiny triangular black nose, and again two large black eyes confronted him. He blinked, as if trying to verify his vision, and recoiled when his reflection blinked back in perfect synchronization.
The cat-like scream that followed, much higher-pitched than any human scream, nearly caused him to faint. He had transformed into a cat!
Fluffy paws had replaced his hands and feet, and whiskers, resembling delicate antennas, twitched involuntarily. The wet black fur failed to offer warmth, and a tail resembling a cleaning brush remained the only dry spot on his body.
Surveying his surroundings helplessly, Shang Tsung grappled with the overwhelming sensations. Colors, scents, and sounds bombarded his heightened senses. The moist and soft ground beneath his paws carried distinct smells – from the lush grass and flower pollen to the foul odor of nearby mice – making him nauseous and dizzy in this new feline reality.
He resolved to hide in his trailer until the effects of the potion had hopefully worn off. Perhaps time was the only remedy to this bizarre transformation.
With this decision, as he tried to maneuver his entirely alien limbs, he stumbled back into the puddle. Emitting a frustrated meow, he lifted his now even wetter body on trembling legs and took a determined step forward.
Coordinating his brain to move all four legs proved to be the most challenging task he had ever faced. Despite managing a few steps, it wasn’t long before he found himself face down on the ground. Climbing the stairs was out of the question when he could barely walk.
Yet, the thought of enduring the night defenseless in the open urged him to explore other options. Despite the presence of sharp claws at his disposal, he remained clueless about how to wield them effectively.
Suddenly, thunder rumbled ominously from the gathering dark clouds, intensifying his struggle. The loud noise sent shivers through his wet fur, and he fluffed up instinctively. What was he going to do now?
Abandoning the idea of entering his trailer due to his incapacitated state, and unable to climb the steps, he considered hiding beneath it. However, this provided little protection against larger predators.
As he weighed his limited options, another thunderclap sounded nearby, and rain approached faster than expected. Then, a solution flashed in his mind.
You.
In his present state of misery, pride might have prevented him from seeking you out, but the importance of trust is a precious rarity that outweighed his ego. The silver lining lay in the fact that, cloaked in this form, his identity would remain undetected by you.
He knew the way to your house by heart. If he could only manage to use his damn paws correctly, he estimated reaching your house in half an hour, perhaps even before the rain caught up with him.
With this determination, Shang wasted no time in taking action. His steps were still uneven and shaky, but time wasn’t a luxury he could afford to care about that.
The noise of the crowd from the market ahead throbbed in his ears, and an onslaught of diverse smells reached his nose, aggravating the nausea in his stomach. Being a cat was proving to be a challenging experience, perhaps explaining why they were often grumpy.
Navigating through the people, Shang tried his best not to entangle himself in anyone’s feet. However, his coordination mishaps led to a loss of balance, and a boy stepping on his tail resulted in a piercing yowl. Turning towards the offender, Shang unleashed a tirade of furious growls, attempting to express his outrage in the only way available.
‘’Are you blind, you damned brat! You almost trampled me!’’
Every word translated to meows, yet the intensity of his anger was universally understood. The woman, presumably the child’s mother, shielded her son from Shang and attempted to shoo him away with her hand, further bruising his wounded dignity.
Frustrated, Shang roared, ‘‘Who do you think you’re shooing, woman? Mother and son, I will kill you both and take your souls as a souvenir!’’—all conveyed in blood-curling meows.
Amidst the chaotic market, a male voice behind him suggested, ‘‘Ma’am, stand back; I think it has rabies.’’
Shang glared at the new person who had insulted him.
‘’Who do you think you’re calling rabid, you fucker—Oh, shit.’’
When he saw the bucket in the man’s hand that he was about to pour on him, he instantly put an end to his words-meows and hurried away from there as far as his legs would allow. He did not know how long he had been wandering around the market; the interior of the place he had always been wandering around had suddenly turned into a maze.
Everything was too loud, causing him to be constantly startled and feel the need to crawl into a corner with fear. The noise was overwhelming, and he had never felt so nervous; it was challenging not to be crushed underfoot when people, oblivious to his tiny presence, walked past him like giants. Additionally, the smells were more than mere scents—they were a symphony of overpowering fragrances that constantly distracted his attention.
After enduring a relentless pursuit by several dogs, their barks resonating through the narrow alleys, two people attempted to offer Shang affection. Amidst the chaos, he responded by scratching one person’s face, biting the other’s hand, and clumsily falling to the ground for the thirtieth time. Eventually, he managed to navigate the maze-like streets and arrive in front of your house.
Standing at the door of your one-story, quite small, stone house, he didn’t bother to stand up. Instead, he lay down on the ground for a prolonged moment.
Tired, hungry, and thirsty, he also felt the grime on his fur from the rain that continued to pour. It was already dark, and despite all his efforts, he hadn’t managed to escape the relentless downpour. While waiting in front of the door, drenched and shivering, he started screaming at the top of his lungs when he couldn’t hear a sound indicating that you were inside.
Just as people didn’t trust him easily, he himself never trusted others easily. In fact, he never trusted. You were the only one who had an exception in this matter. He had a bond with you that he didn’t share with anyone; it was so special and precious to him that Shang was afraid of doing something wrong and pushing you away.
You possessed a kind and empathetic nature, extending compassion even to someone like him who made money by deceiving people. This filled him with the need to protect, as well as a genuine concern for your selflessness.
While you were certainly not naive, your kind heart and tolerant attitude toward everyone could one day lead you to unexpected hurt. People often saw kindness as weakness, and Shang knew it well. Kindness was nothing more than a tool for many to gain the upper hand and exploit others.
Shang, despite his deceptive nature, taught you how to draw boundaries with small word games, preserving your gentle nature without resorting to brute force. Although he was aware that this approach contradicted his general nature, he found himself irresistibly drawn to you, seizing every opportunity to be near you.
He had no idea when he fell in love with you; perhaps it was the first time he saw you, or maybe it was when a few of the customers he tricked later came to kick his ass, and you helped him take care of his wounds after they hurt him badly. Or maybe it was that sexy look on your face when you didn’t refrain from answering back to him about something for the first time.
The options were endless, but one thing he knew was that he had never felt such intense attraction and closeness to anyone before. He was almost sure that you felt the same way, but he hesitated to take a step further, not wanting to risk this relationship he couldn’t name between you.
Finally, Shang stopped shouting when footsteps, making it clear that you had heard his screams, were heard from behind the door.
‘‘What’s going on?’’
When you opened the door and looked with curious eyes to see the source of the sound, Shang instantly tried to get your attention, mustering a heart-wrenching meow to pull at your heartstrings.
‘‘Oh, were you the cause of all this screaming?’’
By opening the door a little further, as if to show that there was no threat, you got down on your knees and stretched out your hand to him, inviting him closer.
“Hello, little one, come closer.’’
Shang came straight to you without a second thought, rubbing his head on your hands. He began to purr, a sound that seemed to emanate from the very core of his being. You put on a sweet smile at the sounds he made, Shang’s eyes closing with happiness as your gentle hands massaged behind his ears.
‘‘You poor thing, you’re soaked through.’’ After stroking his head a little more, you carefully grasped him on both sides with your hands. ‘’I’m going to hold you in my arms, please don’t attack me, okay?’’
Shang responded with louder purrs, trying to make himself appear as harmless and innocent as possible. You were the only person in this world he would not harm, a fact that could not change now or later. The warmth of your embrace provided solace to Shang, now a rain-soaked cat, as you lifted him into your arms. His damp fur clung to your clothes, but you didn’t seem to mind.
As you cradled him in your lap, Shang tried not to be too impressed by the softness of your breasts. But right now, even if he was a cat, he was a man, and being closer to the woman he loved than ever before might have affected him more than he thought.
‘‘That’s it, come here, my little friend. Let’s wash you first; you smell terrible. We’ll have dinner together later, what do you think? Is that okay?’’
While holding him with one hand and stroking him under the chin with the other hand, Shang’s eyes closed with happiness once again. He felt safe, comfortable, and peaceful. All that dizzying confusion of sounds, smells, and images had finally calmed down a little.
Your scent was playing a big role in him calming down. It was sweet, reminiscent of vanilla and a hint of lavender, a fragrance that wrapped around him like a comforting embrace.
When he caught your scent once more, just to be certain, his mouth watered. It was delicious, with an undercurrent of delightful notes—raisins and chocolate dough, the unmistakable aroma of his all-time favorite dessert: moon cakes, a treat you had lovingly prepared to smell just like this.
When his stomach rumbled loudly enough to embarrass him, you giggled.
“Oh my, I will put an end to your hunger at once, little one. Don’t worry; you’re in good hands.’’
When you arrived at the bathroom, after placing him in a basin and approaching to pour hot water on him, Shang’s whole body reflexively tensed up, and his coat puffed out.
If I get wet one more fucking time I-
‘‘I’ll keep this as quick as possible.’’ You said, in your usual kind voice, and put a little kiss on his head. The words that were waiting on the tip of Shang’s tongue to be said evaporated and disappeared into the air. Before he had a chance to shake off his astonishment, you began to wash his body with hot water.
Although he didn’t want to admit it, he liked the bath. The warm water cascading over him felt like a gentle rain, washing away the grime and tension from his fur. His body, stiff from the nightmare-filled moments he spent outside, had almost reached the consistency of falling asleep as it slowly relaxed between your fingers, which felt like magic.
‘‘Good boy, look how well behaved you are. You must be someone’s cat; you don’t look feral at all.’’ You said, mumbling to yourself. Your compliment had caused another unexpected reaction in Shang. While his heart began to beat faster than before, he had no doubt that his cheeks would have flushed noticeably if he had been human.
When you started delicately drying his body with a towel, Shang seized the opportunity to shake off the water, and in a playful display, a small scream escaped your lips as you attempted to shield yourself from the scattered water drops.
With your face and hair now adorned with droplets, Shang, taking full advantage of his feline guise, delicately licked the drops on your cheek. Unbeknownst to you, he reveled in this mischievous act.
Against his movement, you let out a giggle that made his heart jump. After drying his semi-damp body, you picked him up again and headed into the kitchen. Shang took a deep breath, inhaling the delicious smells wafting around, trying to ignore the rumbling of his stomach.
You had just made the moon cakes he had predicted, and with the smoke rising from them, it was obvious they had just come out of the stone oven. Shang couldn’t decide whether your lap or the buns lined up like treasure on the counter were more attractive.
‘‘Stop right here, and I’ll see what I can give you.’’
As you put him down and started preparing food by wandering around the kitchen, Shang looked at the counter with longing eyes. How he would have liked to jump in there and grab one of the cakes. Deciding to try his luck, he leaned his paws on the counter, attempting to keep his balance on both legs. Although he couldn’t see the counter, he could have reached out and grabbed one of the cakes with his paw. He just needed to reach a little more—
‘‘Oh, hold on there, you naughty kitty.’’
You grabbed him by the waist, pulled him away from the counter, and placed him on the table.
‘’There’s nothing there for you.”
“Don’t think so; you can’t protect those buns from me.”
Interpreting his mewing as a sign of hunger, you once again stroked the top of his head with understanding eyes.
“Here you go buddy, enjoy your meal.”
Leaving the food you had prepared for him in front of him, you sat down with your own dinner. Shang inspected the food, smelling the bowl. When he caught a whiff of chicken broth and stale bread crumbs, he looked up, giving you side eyes.
He couldn’t believe you were offering him stale bread.
“What?” As you carefully chewed a morsel, your eyebrows slightly furrowed. “Are you giving me the side eye?”
Shang pushed the food with one paw, turning his head to the side.
“What’s with that attitude?” you said with a laugh. “Aren’t you hungry? You should be able to smell the chicken inside.”
“And the stale bread you put in,” Shang hissed. Approaching you confidently, he eyed the food on your plate. With beautifully baked chicken pieces, sautéed vegetables, and rice, your plate looked quite delicious. Shang swallowed, feeling his mouth water. You didn’t stop him when he buried his head in your plate, about to devour one of the chickens.
“Alright, eat up. It’s obvious you need it more than me.”
As you gently stroked his head, Shang couldn’t determine if he was truly starving, attributing the chicken’s apparent deliciousness to his intense hunger. With purrs that exceeded his small body, he devoured the meal, finding it to be the most delicious chicken he had ever eaten.
When you prepared a new plate for yourself and sat down, a peaceful silence descended between the two of you. After a while, while taking a small sip from your wine glass, you continued to gently stroke the top of Shang’s head with one hand.
This, he thought to himself, must be heaven.
‘’You’re tame enough to make me think you’re somebody’s pet. If you haven’t run away from home and you’ve been dumped, I have two words to say to that person.’’ You said in a harsh voice.
As Shang licked the leftover pieces of chicken smeared on the side of his mouth, he started purring louder when he heard the protective timbre in your voice. Giggling at his reaction, you stroked his cheek with your dainty fingers.
‘’We need to give you a name, hmm.’’ After taking another sip of your wine, you patted your chin with one hand and looked at him with thoughtful eyes. Shang thought about how breathtaking you looked at that moment.
Most of the lights in your house were turned off, it was dim except for a few candles that you placed around and the heat and light emitted by a small fireplace burning a little further away.
The places where the soft yellow light touched your skin painted you a sweet golden color, while your cheeks were slightly pinkened because of the wine you were drinking, and your lips were tinged with a dark color of red. As the thin tufts of hair that had escaped from the bun that you had scattered from the top covered your face, he felt an intense desire to kiss you at that moment, it suddenly became even more important for him than breathing.
You looked so sweet, vulnerable, and beautiful that he cursed himself once again for turning into a cat. But on the other hand, if he hadn’t turned, he wouldn’t have the opportunity to see you like this.
“Actually, I know someone who loves cats, I have no doubt that he will adore you.” You said and put another smile on your face from behind the glass touched your lips. His heart warmed at the sight of you. “He tries not to show it, but I know how much he loves animals. It’s easier for him to make friends compared to people; I can’t blame him for thinking like that. Everyone has their reasons.’’
When your fingers moved again to stroke the soft fur, Shang brought his head closer to you. Meanwhile, he couldn’t help wondering, were you talking about him?
‘‘I can tell that his hair is the same color as your coat, and even your eyes are exactly the same color. Should I also call you Shang? Or Shang the Junior?‘’ You continued laughing at your own words, while Shang responded by looking at you with side eyes. His gaze must be amusing to you, making you burst into a louder laugh.
‘‘I’ve no doubt he’ll look just as sassy as you are looking at me right now! By the elder gods, that was good. But I think it would be more appropriate if I thought of another name… how about Night? It’s a name that suits you quite well.’’
After stroking his head for the last time, you collected the plates on the table in one hand and stood up with the wine glass you were about to finish. You put the plates in the tap, cut one of the moon cakes left on the counter across from you in half, and put it in your mouth.
“Better than I thought, Shang will love these.” You said it in a hushed voice, difficult to be heard. The expression on your face was much more peaceful and gentle now. Knowing that he was the reason behind it, filled Shang with pride. When he tried to attract attention to himself by meowing across the table, you approached him with half a moon cake.
“I know it’s usually harmful for you to eat this, but I guess a little bite once is fine, right? Here you go.” When you divided the one in your hand once more, reduced it even more, and handed it to him, Shang happily bit the piece you handed him into his mouth. The taste was absolutely exquisite—a feast of flavors that melted in his mouth before he even chewed.
‘‘You seem to like it too.’’
‘‘I love it!’’ Shang said, meowing loudly. When he held on to your arm with his front paws to ask for more, you had no choice but to give him the other piece as well. After Shang filled the last place left in his small stomach with cake, you took him on your lap and went into the living room.
You lay down on the peltries and furs that were laid out a little distance from the fireplace and pulled one of the cushions on the floor to have a pillow under your head. Shang instantly took advantage of the opportunity, curled up on your arm and rested his head on your neck.
The smell of you, the heat from the fireplace, and the crackling rising from the burning wood… all filled him with peace, as well as his relaxing body literally turned to jelly.
As the rain outside continued its symphony, Shang, now affectionately named Night, nestled comfortably in your gentle embrace. The soft illumination of candles played with the shadows, creating a tranquil ambiance that matched the warmth spreading within him.
Your musings about other potential names—Whiskers or Shadow—accompanied by the calming melody of the rain, painted an intimate scene. The soothing patter of raindrops on the window seemed to harmonize with the contented purrs emanating from Shang, reinforcing the newfound sense of belonging.
‘‘It’s a very different feeling to want to see someone all the time, not to want to leave their side,’’ You said some time later. Your tone was quiet and somehow fragile. While one hand stroked the soft, black fur, Shang stubbornly tried to resist sleeping, despite his tired body. He wanted to hear the words that would come out of your mouth.
‘‘I feel that I really know him, I accepted him into my heart a long time ago with all his wrongs and truths.’’
Even though there was technically no one else in the house but you, your voice was getting quiet, as if you were afraid someone would hear it. When the other hand covered your eyes, the smile that left your lips this time had nothing to do with the previous ones. It was bitter and insecure.
‘’I like him. Oh gods, I like him more than I thought.’’
A tear trickled down your cheek from the eyes you had hidden from him. Shang instantly rose up and licked the tear that was trickling down your cheek, as if to calm you down. How he would like to be a human being right now and reciprocate you. While his heart was pounding with happiness and excitement because of your confession, at the same time, your lack of self-confidence and the anxiety that you were feeding from the inside made him feel bad.
You finally kissed the top of his head, rewarding him for trying to comfort you as much as he could with a little chuckle.
‘’Thank you, Night. Your presence was unexpected, but thank you for choosing my door.’’ You said, in a voice as soft and sincere as honey. ‘‘I wish there was some way I could know what was going through Shang’s mind; it would be nice to know if he feels the same way towards me, wouldn’t it?’’
Shang just rubbed his head against yours, trying to give you a positive answer. He wanted this damn situation to end as soon as possible; he was about to go insane.
After a while, you declared, ‘’It’s been a long day,’ concluding the topic. The flickering flames in the fireplace cast a warm glow, highlighting the subtle lines of exhaustion on your face. Shifting towards the fireplace, you enveloped him in your arms, pulling Shang close as if he was a cherished plush toy. Shang nestled into the warmth, leaning against you with no space between.
He seemed content in this embrace, willing to endure it a while longer.
BONUS:
As birds chirped outside and sunlight gradually invaded the room, you slowly awoke. The wooden floor beneath you creaked as you shifted, a small moan escaping your lips along with the lingering ache in your hips.
Every inch of you seemed to protest the unconventional night’s rest. Yet, when a hand, still warm from sleep, squeezed your waist, all discomfort faded. Turning, a gasp caught in your throat.
There lay Shang Tsung, peacefully asleep, a sight you hadn’t anticipated. Surprised, you didn’t scream, perhaps even forgetting to breathe. Studying his features, you reached out, brushing your fingers through his tousled black hair. The once-cynical expression softened in slumber, and his pale pink lips were slightly parted, giving him a tranquil and almost boyish appearance, adorned with freckles on cheeks and nose.
Time seemed to halt, your heart reacting as it always did in his presence. To affirm it wasn’t a dream, your fingers grazed the soft strands of his hair, gently pulling them away from his face.
“This is real,” you uttered in a single breath. When Shang heard your voice, he parted his long, black eyelashes. His sleepy gaze found you directly, and a small smile settled on his face, leaving your heart in disarray.
“Of course, it’s real,” said Shang, his voice thicker than usual due to sleep. “It’s too early to wake up yet, so close your eyes. Let’s get some more sleep.”
Your brain was preoccupied with grasping the truth of how he got into your house and why he was sprawled over you with his arms wrapped around you.
“What are you doing here?” you asked with surprise.
“You let me in,” he replied simply.
“Me?” As you tried to figure out how, your eyebrows furrowed. The pieces snapped together in your mind as if lightning had flashed inside your head. “Was it you last night?!” you exclaimed, the half-scream in your voice. Shang’s eyes had already closed, but the wicked smile that revealed he hadn’t fallen asleep yet lingered on his face.
“How did you manage to turn into a cat?”
“Dear, it’s a pretty long story. Let me get some sleep first.”
As Shang snuggled closer, placing his chin on the top of your head, your eyes trailed down to his bare, muscular chest, and a shrill scream escaped your lips.
“You’re naked!”
“I guess so, I was a cat.”
“I can’t believe you’re sleeping next to me like this and still doing it,” you stammered, your face almost on fire.
“Well, I am quite comfortable,” Shang quipped without opening his eyes. He groped and took one of the pelts behind him, using it to cover himself.
“There, is that all right now?’’ A mischievous glint appeared in Shang’s eyes as he teased, “Well, if you’re done interrogating me, maybe I can finally enjoy some beauty sleep.”
You were so confused that you couldn’t answer him. Your poor brain, still struggling to comprehend what had just happened, was about to reach its breaking point. When you remembered the conversation you had with yourself last night, your face got so hot that you thought you were going to pass out and faint on the spot.
‘’When you were a cat… Do you remember what I said?”
Shang realized what you were talking about and chuckled in a deep voice.
“Everything.”
“Everything?” you said, squealing. Attempting to wriggle free from his grasp, you tried to hide from him, but Shang’s strong hands didn’t release their grip on your waist for a moment. On the contrary, a shaky breath escaped you when he pulled you closer, his hand gently stroking your hair.
“I like you too, (y/n),” Shang said, then kissed your forehead as if sealing his words. “I’ve been waiting for this moment so long,” he took a deep breath, burying his face into your hair. “While I’m holding you in my arms like this now, I don’t want to let go. Let’s stay like this a little longer.”
Since you couldn’t trust your voice, you contented yourself with nodding in approval. Although you couldn’t see Shang’s expression, there was no doubt he wasn’t smiling.
Your heart filled with warmth and happiness, sensations you’d never experienced before. You had a premonition that Shang had feelings for you, but you chose silence, fearing your confession might affect the bond between you.
This mutual confession made you feel light as a bird, filling you with pure happiness that made you wiggle like a little girl.
Before you could help yourself, now allowed to do something you’d wanted for a very long time, you straightened up on your elbows and planted a little kiss on one of Shang’s round cheeks.
Shang slightly opened his eyes, looking at you as if you were the most precious thing on earth. Then, as his hand found its place in the back of your neck, guiding you closer, you willingly followed. When your lips met, it was like two magnets drawn together, stealing every ounce of breath from your lungs
Shang’s kiss was as soft as the morning itself, an impetuosity showing that all the time belonged to them. While responding to his kiss, a detail caught your attention, and you couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
“Shang… You’re purring.”
Shang’s closed eyes widened.
“Fuck. There must be some side effects left from the damn potion.”
“I’ve always wanted to have a big cat,” you teased. Shang’s eyes narrowed playfully.
“I’m not like the cats you know, sweetie,” he said, brushing your hair with the back of his hand. Another smile left your lips, and you reached out to kiss him again.
“I have no doubt of it. Just don’t scratch the furniture, okay?”
Shang mockingly gasped, placing a hand over his chest.
“I’m offended. My claws are reserved for far more exciting endeavors, darling.”

But if anyone ever fucks with son, he will not show mercy. They are his heart, DO NOT! Cross his family
• As for his daughters, he leaves that to you. He believes that is your expertise. He does little training with them, just the basics of self-defense. But he makes it clear not to have them in battle.
• His daughters though are literally glued to him, 24/7. The main thing your girls do religiously is their father’s hair. Certain parts of his head braided. And he would walk around with pride with the hairstyle
And if anyone ever say anything about it, will regret the day they spoke.
• He spoils his kids to death, especially his daughters. Your children always look nice and cared for by their father and uncles.
• Suprisingly there favorite uncle is Tomas, they love there Kuai Liang but Tomas is a lot fun to play with and indulge in there antics.
Tomas is more available then there father and other uncle
• The stuff that you see in Bluey with the kids and parents. You and Bi-Hans kids can get that chaotic and make games, that you commit to a lot of times. It’s very rare when Bi-Han does it, but when he does. It’s quite the sight and memory.
Sometimes they even have there uncles or rest of the Lin Kuei into it
• The children love their auntie Harumi who brings them gifts and homemade cookies from her home and travels. Bi-Han doesn’t like when they have to much doughy foods let alone candy
But you let them enjoy it whenever your husband isn’t around, and remind the children. “Don’t tell your father, it’ll be our little secret.”
• The children love and respects their father, and whenever given praises. It makes them super happy. As you have to remind Bi-Han the importance of praising a child when they do good, as it makes them continue and shows that he loves them despite his many scorns of there behavior
• Liu Kang is like there godfather, he always shares his wisdom with them and they heed his words a lot. The other people in earthrealm, Now with Johnny, your daughters like to bribe him or extort him for money. For them to protect him.
You question your girls moral, “If only we knew where they got that from?” You looked at Bi-Han.
“At least Starboy’s money will be put to good use.” Bi-Han retorted.
• The Lin Kuei children are the legacy and future of the clan and will continue to share its glory and name throughout the world.

Headcanons (?) or hard thoughts
BI-HAN • Sub-Zero
Status: unedited
Tumblr media
—————————-//————————-
Bi Han is rough.
Sex with him is on a different level.
Uses his powers for sure. Either on purpose or by accident.
He feeling it too, but is mostly focusing on you and how you’re taking him.
Shy reader - praise with a teaspoon bit of degradation.
Brat reader - full degradation - a salt of praise.
Always on top, if not, he’s f*ucking into you as you get tired from bouncing on him. Reverse cowgirl and cowgirl for the win-
Cowgirl - He loves seeing your hole begin to swell, your lube hole leaving a ring of c*m at the base of his c*ck.
Reverse Cowgirl - oh boy…. He sees the way your hole tightens around him, your sweaty bubble butt hitting his lower abdomen repeatedly.
If you lose energy, he’ll grab your ripped underwear that was still around your waist and placed off to the side resting around your butt. He’ll grab the wet and sweaty fabric, slamming and thrusting his hip into you again. Casein your orgasm and his.
“N…Not fairrr…” words slurred, as your eyes rolled to the back of your head, nearly eye crossing.
He’ll make you whine, whimper, moan, pant-
After cowgirl, he switch the position after seeing you struggling.
Doggy to Flatiron
His body is larger then yours. He’s stronger. His hands would be above your shoulders, squeezing the bed’s sheets as ice began to form under his palm.
You’re loud. Your bubble butt hitting his thighs and hips. Hitting your weakest spots repeatedly. You even bit into the sheet to muffle it but to no avail.
“I’m gonna-” your pleas muffled by you biting into the sheets. You gripped the sheet hard as your body bounced up and down against the large rich bed, the headboard hitting the wall repeatedly.
Hand coverrrrrr-
You whined, moaned, whimpered close to your orgasm. The levels of your voice alarmed Bi Han almost immediately.
He back against yours, his hand covers your mouth aggressively as he works his hips even more. His head near yours.
“Stop being so loud, you’re gonna get us caught…” he growled into your ear. You could only whimper into his hand, tears began to form in your eyes.
“B…bi-” suddenly he grabs that back of your head, slamming your whole face into the pillow, this way, no one can hear you but him.
“To much..?” He teased, mat-pressing you now…
More then one round - maybe 3-4 rounds.

I haven’t seen much Mortal Kombat for male readers so I’ll do it myself.
Johnny Cage
With a (bottom) Male S/O who is basically similar to Nicole Watterson but reversed. Pt1
Tumblr media
He first met you from afar during grocery shopping, usually he would just get groceries online but he decided to go out in the world to just get a little bit of fresh air, Johnny was in the condiment aisle when he suddenly saw a male scolding 3 children who were whining for the need of candy.
“But dad, we rarely have anything as a reward, can’t we at least get a bag for just listening to you.” C/N one said, he was pouting; hoping it would change his dad’s mind
“Look kids, we would if the government would lower the prices.” M/N said in a debilitated tone, he looked tired as his 3 kids kept whining. Johnny saw this and tried to ignore what’s going, but he couldn’t help to look back to see you struggling. Johnny lip bites in a nervous way before he turned around and stepped up to the family.
———————————————————————
-Johnny didn’t know what he was doing at first, but the sight of M/N exhausted and worn out makes him want to just come over and help him with the kids.
-M/N saw this and he looked up confused at the blond haired man. “Is there something you need from me?” M/N questioned as he looked up at him. He was surprisingly shorter than cage but that didn’t matter right now. “I was just wondering if you needed a little help.” Johnny asked before his lips turn into a small grin as he looked down, he never seen such a small yet delicate male in front of him that looks to be about in their mid 20’s.
“Ah- no I’m fine.” M/N shrugged off, his eyes were trying to go wide to seem like he was fully awake but the dark circles under them we’re putting him off, he was about to push the cart away with him and the kids when suddenly-
“Ninja mime?” A child voice was heard, Johnny cage eyes widen and they quickly adverted to the three children of M/N, they were staring at him with expressions similar to baby owls with interest yet shock.
“Ninja Mime!” They all screamed out in excitement and they immediately ran up to the Hollywood actor. “Kids, don’t be disrespectful!” M/O yelled out at them with a glint of firmness in his eyes. Johnny cage saw the three little children’s hopping up to get his attention before averting his eyes up to the male he hadn’t even met yet. This is where the story begins..

MK: Preference #5
Tumblr media
Prompt: Raiden, Johnny, Kung Lao, Bi Han, Smoke, Rain, Szyoth, Shang Tsung and MK11 Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion) react to the reader that is like Wonder Woman. Hope you enjoy.
Quick Summary: The reader is a full blooded Edenian and the Goddess of Outworld. Liu Kang made you a protector of Earthrealm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Earthrealm Trio: Raiden, Johnny & Kung Lao
Raiden
Tumblr media
This adorable pookie fell in love with you the moment you came to visit Liu Kang to tell him about the new information on Shang Tsung.
Raiden heard tales about you but he never in his life would he have the chance to meet you but was in pure awe at the sight of your beauty, abilities and unique combat skills.
He admires your skills and fighting spirit, the way you hold yourself with confidence is amazing and he can’t help but fall in love.
During your daily visit to Wu Shi academy, he would madly blush whenever you would happily cheer him on when he’s training against one of the monks or with Kung Lao.
He can’t never get enough of your beauty and compassion, he sometimes wonders why a goddess such as yourself would fall deeply in love with a simple farmer like him.
Raiden would watch in awe when you would fight in battle. The way you gracefully and calmly take down your enemy. He thinks your lasso of truth is badass and awesome.
Being the wholesome and gentle pookie, he gets very flustered and shy when you give him compliments and tease him. He loves you with all of his heart and he knows that it is forbidden to love an Edenian goddess.
This precious pookie would do anything for you and his deep unconditional love for you is what makes him train harder and vows to protect you even if you can handle yourself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Johnny Cage
Tumblr media
Knowing his cocky and flirtatious personality, this man instantly fell for you for the first time he met you in Outworld during the tournament. (He doesn’t mind you stepping all over on him.)
Johnny at first would try to convince you to act on one of his new movies that’s he is making. He calls you, Wonder Woman since you remind him of a certain Amazon demi god from his favorite childhood cartoon.
He finds you sexy and hot especially when you fight in battle especially when you use your lasso of truth on your enemies to gain information about Quan Chi’s whereabouts
Johnny will literally worship the ground you walk on. This man is such a big simp to you that he is willing to do ANYTHING for his beautiful future wife (you). Will constantly flirt with you at any given moment he has.
Star boy would faint and feel his heart beat at the amount of compliments and teasing he gets from you. Your mommy rizz makes him very blushy and hot under his collar.
Please this is man so desperate for his mommy that he treats you like his Queen and would shower you with love and gifts.
Johnny loves your confident nature but often gets worried as he notice that you dislike showing any vulnerability since being Earthrealm protector & a goddess can be very difficult and overwhelming.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kung Lao
Tumblr media
Funny thing you guys both meet one day at Madam Bo’s tea house after Liu Kang sends you to oversee his and Raiden’s kombat skills.
At first you both would have some friendly rivalry competition to see which one of you would win and pay for a dinner at Madam Bo’s. (Of course you come out victorious because you are the Goddess of Outworld.)
But as the days passed, Kung Lao had soon developed romantic feelings for you but was soon shock to discover that you were the literal goddess of Edenia/Outworld.
He brags to Kenshi and Johnny whenever you compliment his combat skills or often times he would brag about you to the other combatants & the way you gracefully fight.
This pookie of a man secretly has a bit of rope kink as he often blushes when you choke an enemy with your lasso of truth.
Kung Lao sometimes would feel insecure about himself since many overshadowed him with Raiden. He’s feels like he always going to be the second best but you show him that he’ll always be your first best.
He gets jealous whenever someone else flirts or compliments you, he feels like he isn’t good enough for you as you are this very beautiful goddess. That doesn’t stop him from loving you and caring for you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bi Han (Sub Zero)
Tumblr media
He meets you through Liu Kang, as you were given the honor to meet the new Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. Of course he was wary of you from the beginning considering that you are the goddess of Outworld, protecting Earthrealm.
Like Johnny Cage, this man secretly has a mommy kink. The Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei is a simp for a very strong and loyal woman such as yourself to have as a wife.
But after witnessing some of your combat skills, he was impressed to say the least the way you would defend yourself and others, but of course his ego and pride admit it.
Bi Han thinks that Liu Kang is wasting your true potential and unlike the Fire God, he would support you and make you stronger.
He admires your confident personality and fighting skills. Worships you by treating you like an empress and gifting you expensive gifts for you like jewelry, clothes and etc.
It takes him sometime for him to admit his feelings for you since his ego won’t allow him but when the courting process starts, he doesn’t allow anyone disrespect you. He often times compares you to Tomas (which isn’t fair since you are an Edenian Goddess)
Bi Han has a bit of rope kink considering that you often use your lasso of truth on any enemies like General Shao or Rain to know more about Shang Tsung’s schemes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tomas Vbrada (Smoke)
Tumblr media
Like Bi Han, he met you through Liu Kang as you were tasked to brief them over a mission. To say the least it was love at first sight for him.
He was in awe and astonished when he first met you. He was very honor to finally meet a beautiful Edenian goddess of Outworld.
Tomas gets extremely shy and flustered when you would compliment him or when you tease when he refers himself as the “ King of Smoke” in which you find cute.
Smoke admires your combat fighting skills and has heart shaped eyes when you would take down your enemies with your lasso of truth in which very unique and interesting.
Often times, he would deeply worry for you considering that you have the fate of both realms on your shoulder, he wants to help you and is willing to share your burden.
Smokey bear would often make excuses to come visit you daily and would enjoy your presences. He would happily talk about his day while you listened with a soft smile.
Tomas wants to spend the rest of his life with you but he knows it will be impossible as you are a Goddes. His loyalty and love for you is unbreakable, he is willing to go to the end of the realms for you. He loves you very deeply and worries for you safety everyday.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zeffeero (Rain)
Tumblr media
Zeffeero would be your most dedicated follower and head priest. He is very proud to be your head priest as he views you as a gift from the divine and a l blessing in his life as his goddess.
He would actually start courting you, he is very old school so he will probably send gifts and offerings to you in your temple. Rain is Outworld’s best mage so he would gift you the most beautiful and exotic gifts.
Rain will actually flirt with you and devote himself to you. You are his saving grace and as he will soon be your soon to be husband.
Zeffeero admires your fighting and magical abilities and finds the lasso of truth very interesting as he would have rope kink. He would imagine himself being held down by you and would even be bad as he loves you.
Since you are a powerful witch yourself, Rain would often ask if you don't mind training him so he can admire your skills.
He notice how much you hate to show any emotional vulnerability by putting up a fake smile but will remind you that it is ok to be vulnerable and seek support as being the literal Goddess of Outworld & the new protector of Earthrealm can be very hard.
Rain loves you so much as he is willing to support you and will do anything for you. Zeffeero is your most dedicated worshipper as he happily serves and protects his love.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Syzoth (Reptile)
Tumblr media
Like Raiden, Syzoth is deeply in love with you but often times he wonders why would you fall in love and marry with a freak monster like him.
This cutie of a man gets very flustered when you speak with him or engage in a conversation with him. He can’t help but fall in love with you as you were his savior.
Szyoth would get extremely flustered and cover his blush face when you would give him a compliment considering that you are a goddess of Outworld and his lovely savior.
Please he would do anything for you as his gratitude that you saved his life and forgave him and guided him to a new life. He has a bit of a worship kink considering that you are a Goddess and his new purpose in life.
Johnny teases the hell out of him when you would give a complete him. He very deeply admires your confidence and headstrong attitude. Your combat skills were unique and as he would blush when you would use the lasso of truth in your enemies in battle.
Syzoth deeply worries for you as he sees how much you dislike being emotionally vulnerable and often reminds you that he is there for you and will do anything for you.
To say the least Szyoth can't image a life without you as you are his world and new purpose. He loves you and will protect you
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shang Tsung
Tumblr media
This sassy man has beef with both you and Liu Kang but he secretly hates loves you as he often enjoys bothering and annoying you with his sassy attitude. Please you are his mommy.
Shang Tsung would be annoyed with you considering that he could never lie a single soul to you because of your lasso of truth. He finds your combat skills very attractive.
As much as he tries to show off that he is powerful, he does not hesitate one bit to kneel before you because you are his mommy and worship the ground you walk.
He has a very strong femdom kink and often flirts with you and visits you to just get a reaction out of Liu Kang and maybe to court you and try to make you join him.
Shang Tsung would purposely lie when he is tied up by your lasso of truth, he enjoys feeling the tight sensation of your rope. He has a very big rope kink as he doesn’t mind you stepping all over him and making him submit to you, you are his sexy Goddess.
This man will literally worship the ground you walk on. He is such a big simp to you that he is willing to do ANYTHING for you.
Liu Kang would often times have to send you away on missions since Shang Tsung always flirts with you and send you gifts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MK11: Scorpion
Hanzo Hasashi
Tumblr media
The new Grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu would be both in awe and honor to meet the Goddess of Outworld but would take time to trust you. Considering what Quan Chi did to his family.
He first judges on Raiden’s choices and decisions on letting a Goddess aide them but after some time, he came to view you as a fellow warrior and ally as time passes
Hanzo admires your confidence and loyalty and often finds your abilities attractive and very useful especially your lasso of truth. (This sexy man has a rope kink as he does not mind using it on you in privacy. 😉)
He knows how you hate being emotionally vulnerable so he remind you that it is ok to be vulnerable and he's always there for you. Being a Goddess can be very challenging.
His own students often tease him when he would get flustered when you compliment with him, this man has a bit of a mommy kink for you and worships you in secret.
He gets very hard when you take down your foes and use your lasso of truth on them to gain information. In that very moment he had deeply feel fell for you and started to court you as he secretly worships you.
Hanzo loves you with his whole being and is such a gentleman towards you and will do anything for you like cooking dinner, giving you a massage or simply cuddling with you.
Random Headcanons For Havik.
Tumblr media
• If you get seriously injured, Havik will start to behave quite obsessively. He knows it will hurt you, but he can't help it. He needs to look at your injuries and touch them. For the same reason, Havik may help you treat your wounds, just so he can see and feel your injuries up close.
• One of those things that he really likes. Are you hungry and there is nothing edible around? Havik can rip his arm off for you. You can cook its flesh or eat it raw (the second option is preferable). For him, it’s like some kind of ritual that shows how close you are. You tasted his blood and now some part of Havik is inside you. It also makes him feel a little nervous.
• Havik has no interest in hurting his partner. He will be happy if you like pain, but for him it is not necessary. He does not care.
• Havik really likes it when you protect him. He will look on smugly as you hit the man who tried to attack Havik. However, don't overdo it because Havik also likes to hit people. You can't take all the fun for yourself, it's not fair!
• Havik is truly a freedom-loving person and this applies to his personal life too. Although he is not very interested in intimacy, he will clearly not be happy if you demand fidelity from him. He will also not demand loyalty from you. If you say that you are uncomfortable with him sleeping with someone else, Havik will understand this and listen to your request.
• Havik does not need to be pitied or sympathized with. He doesn't need support and recognition because he doesn't care about it. He feels great! The past does not cause him mental pain, but only anger and bloodlust. Madness literally became his shield against anything that might upset him. Havik is broken to such an extent that he perceives the world inadequately, looking at it through the prism of his cruelty.
The Bitter Truth || Bi-Han
Tumblr media
Warning(s): female reader insert (former Lin Kuei member), magic-user (sound manipulation), anger, betrayal, reader can fight, blood and gore, taunting, set after the game, canon tower ending, rough sex, branding, make-outs, fingering, Bi-Han is a dick.
Words: 4,474
No Minor's Allowed!!
“A mission? For me?”
Your tone, due to the voice-altering mask you are wearing sounds almost robotic despite your uncertainty.
Kuai Liang nods.
“Do you doubt your talents?”
You do not, but since your defect from the Lin Kuei, due to Bi-Han’s treachery, you do not have trust in yourself. Your heart is full of rage and no amount of meditation has quelled it.
With a deep unsteady breath, you shake your head.
“By my oath, I will complete any mission given to me. I swear to it.”
“I don't doubt you will,” Kuai Liang states. “But while you are out there, you must steel your heart. This mission is of the utmost importance to us, as a new clan and as protectors of Earthrealm.”
You understand. You do. Chased from your home, you along with the defectors were forced to flee to Japan. If not for Harumi Shirai offering refuge, then you and the others would surely be killed.
Even so, this transition did not go over easily with you. It hurts to lose your home; to lose him. No, Bi-Han was not your lover, but you strongly admired him. He was your Grandmaster, a man who gave your life purpose. Then he betrayed you.
Of course, you are still sore about it.
“You have my word,” you utter.
So long as the mission goes as planned.
Things have come full circle, you note, as you and a handful of assassins trek the snow-covered peak toward the Ying Fortress, the same fortress that tested your oath to the Lin Kuei, forcing you to defect.
Since the Dragon Army fell and the Soul Stealers were left inoperable, the icy fortress has been abandoned.
It is no threat to Earthrealm, as of yet, however, several battalions rest within; the nine hundred or more that was promised to Bi-Han. While there are no souls to possess the dormant army, Lord Liu Kang is concerned that Lin Kuei will attempt to utilize them.
Trafficking in such strong magic would draw Lord Liu Kang’s attention.
It's the reason you and the brothers do not think Bi-Han will attempt to gather them but as the God of Fire had stated, ‘It is better to be cautious’. And you agree.
Once at the top of the mountain, you marvel at the serene glow surrounding the fortress. It's ethereal, something you do not expect from a two-thousand-year-old burial ground - give or take - but even places of death can be beautiful. The afternoon sun brings some warmth, but not enough to melt the thick icicles clinging to the buildings and surrounding equipment.
You imagine in the day, during the rise of the Ying Dynasty, it was a sight to behold.
But I am not here to sightsee.
Positioning three assassins around the fortress, you order the other two to follow you inside. It's much colder in the treasure room without the smelters running. Gold koins lie in heaps on the floor, a temptation you consider, but ultimately decline.
“Remain here. I will not be but a minute,” you order, continuing down the hall toward the burial chamber.
Inside the tomb, you pause and glance around. It is quiet, far too quiet. While the number of guards is less than before, there are still too many to account for. But fortunately, there seems to be no life left in the chamber. The green aura of their souls no longer permeates their bodies.
No one seems to have returned here since Titan Shang Tsung was defeated. That is fortunate.
To be sure, you walk up the stairs onto the first raised platform, checking down rows for movement. The sentries are like statues, however, you do not let down your guard. Any of Earthrealm's enemies could be lying in wait. Yet even after revealing yourself, no one makes a move to attack you.
Certain that no one is in the tomb, you turn and walk back to the treasure room. The two assassins you left rejoin you, and without a word, you motion for them to follow. However, something odd catches your attention.
Near the rafters, you notice a torn banner clinging on with might and main. A strong wind could blow it down, however, it is stiff, as if it is frozen solid. Upon further observation, you realize that it is. You narrow your eyes in suspicion and follow the rafters across the room to the far corner. The wood and nearby wall are iced over, and to make matters worse, it seems to be spreading. You can hear the sharp crack as it forms.
But how? It's not nearly cold enough–
You widen your eyes in realization.
“Get out of the way!”
You shove the nearest assassin aside, leaping out of the way, but the other does not react quickly enough. An unrefined spear of ice pierces the assassin in the chest at a 45-degree angle, bowing their upper body backward in such a savage way that their spine snaps in a loud and horrifying crack. They are instantly killed.
A flash of twilight blue leaps down from the rafters and lands in front of you. A deep-seated rage fills your heart as your former grandmaster stares you down with narrowed eyes.
“Sub-Zero,” you utter.
You are shocked that he is here. His greed knows no bounds.
“You came for the guardians.” You pause to snort in contempt. “Have you no honor?”
“You are ill-informed,” Bi-Han states with a sneer.
How so?
“There is no other reason for you to be here. While wary of your actions, Lord Liu Kang was–”
“Silence!” Bi-Han interrupts. “Your prattling is irksome. A dog barking on behalf of their owner.”
You tighten your jaw in irritation. He has no right to chide you. It is the clan’s responsibility to protect Earthrealm, not lead it like a God. What led his code of honor astray?
“Turn yourself in Bi-Han,” you plead. With your mask on, it sounds like a command, one he seems not to take kindly to. “If not for your brothers, then for me.”
Raising his arm, you watch in apprehension as his limb from the gauntlet up ices over.
So, he wants a fight.
You adjust the plates in your mask using a switch on the side to resonate with your voice, altering its shape, and while your heartbeat is erratic, you are ready to put an end to this.
Steel your heart.
Taking a fighting stance, you wait for Bi-Han to make the first move. And he does not disappoint. Creating a spear of ice, he launches at you, freezing the ground beneath his feet. You leap to the side to avoid it, falling into a roll.
Once you are back on your feet, you watch as he clashes with the assassin, impaling them with the spear and slamming them onto the ground. To avoid another unnecessary death, you run forward and aim to take him down with a flying scissor kick. You wrap your legs around his head and use your momentum to toss him off his feet and onto his back. Then for the sake of trying, you slam your heel into his chest before you roll back onto your feet again.
Bi-Han sits up and narrows his eyes at you. The look chills you to the bone. He quickly stands and to avoid a direct onslaught from him, you backpedal, but to your shock, he goes after the assassin again. The said clan member does well to avoid his direct hits, but they are nowhere as skilled as the Grandmaster.
Constructing an ice klone, he sends it forward, striking them with a straight punch to the chest. The assassin falls back onto the floor with a groan of pain and while they attempt to stand, he freezes them solid.
An icy chill much colder than the room permeates the air and without remorse, Bi-Han hurls a ball of ice at them. Their body from the waist up shatters with a loud gruesome crack and a gush of blood rains down, shooting from their corpse.
You tighten your jaw. This is not good.
Turning his fierce eyes toward you, he swiftly shoots an ice ball in your direction intent on freezing you over, but unlike the assassin, you know how to easily deal with this sure-hit special move. You take a deep breath and then release a sonic scream that shatters the ice. A cool mist tosses your hair, but none of the shards reach you.
“Your potential is wasted with Kuai Liang,” Bi-Han states.
You narrow your eyes.
“And what? Better served to a traitor who has lost his honor.”
“You misplace your loyalty,” Bi-Han sneers. He brings his hands together and shapes a wall of jagged ice behind him. “I shall shatter them.”
Is he delusional? He knows nothing of loyalty but to himself. This sense of egotism boils your blood. Taking a deep breath you let out another scream that shatters the ice behind the cryomancer. He groans and grips his ears in pain while you close the distance, striking him in the head with a butterfly kick.
Bi-Han stumbles back, but quickly regains his footing, moving into a fighting stance. He easily blocks a straight punch from you, then connects with one of his own, adding a bit of chill to it. You fall back into a squat, catching yourself from falling onto your ass on the floor, then once he's within range you toss your body back into a flip, kicking him in the chest and away from you.
The cryomancer brushes off his tabard and dashes at you with a short-range ice klone, but as you shatter it with a sonic scream, he leaps into the air and lands a kick on you, knocking you back onto the floor.
“I'm not impressed,” Bi-Han scoffs.
How can he be so cruel? You would have bled for him. Despite your best efforts to control your irritation, you sit up and release a sonic scream that shakes the rafters. Bi-Han is knocked back and while he grabs his ears, you stand and walk towards him.
Raising your leg, you knee him hard in the stomach. Then without hesitation, you slam your fist into the side of his head, freeing his mask in the process. Blinded by your anger, you do not notice the air turns icy until it is too late. A ball of ice to the stomach knocks you off your feet and onto the floor, forcing the air from your lungs. You cough, rolling onto your side. If Bi-Han had been aiming to kill you, he could have easily.
So why didn't he?
Noticing him approaching, you force yourself back onto your feet, intent on hitting him with another sonic scream if you are able, but before you can take in a breath, Bi-Han lifts his arm and wraps his hand around your throat. You gasp for air and grab his arm, but you are unable to remove it. His grip is unbelievable.
You consider a point-blank scream, but you aren't sure that it would not hurt him. The worst-case scenario would be to rupture his eardrums, but if he is intent on choking you to death, then this is the only choice you have. Tightening your jaw, you roughly take in a breath, but the heated look on the cryomancer’s face halts you.
“Scream and it will be your last,” Bi-Han threatens.
The icy chill of his hand brings goosebumps to your skin, an evident warning. You do not doubt that he will freeze your throat if you disobey him, so you release your held breath. His grip eases, but only enough for you to take in shallow breaths.
Bi-Han narrows his eyes.
“Your rage blinds you.”
You bite your tongue. This is rich coming from him, someone who let his anger toward Lord Liu Kang consume him. It's strange though. He clearly dislikes his brothers, so why does he not share the same intense emotion toward you?
I want to know.
But you do not dare ask. Instead, you bring up the second matter at hand.
“If not for the Dragon King’s Army…then what? Why did you come here?”
“That is none of your concern,” Bi-Han answers. “But know that we do not need the aid of the Dragon Army to rule Earthrealm.”
So, it was true. What power did the Lin Kuei possess? It had to be more powerful than the army. You narrow your eyes.
“I don't believe you.”
Bi-Han yanks you closer. If not for his arm, you would be leaning against his chest. Still, he is too close for comfort. An embarrassed heat spreads across your face.
“Are you not loyal to me?” He asks. Raising his other arm, he frees the mask from your face. “After all I have done.”
How dare he.
“I owe you nothing,” you argue. Tightening your hands around his arm, you stare heatedly into his dark eyes.
“You owe me more than Kuai Liang,” Bi-Han points out.
It isn't about who owes what though. Yes, it was Bi-Han who brought you into the Lin Kuei, trained and shaped you, but his greed was too overwhelming. Even now he expects more.
You snort.
“You value recognition over responsibility. The principles you taught me, Kuai Liang would never forsaken. Or ask me too.”
Bi-Han raises a brow.
“It's evident why my little brother favors you so. Obedient, easy to manipulate…swift to spread your legs for him.”
Is he serious? Your face heats up. Where did this lewd way of thinking come from? Is he jealous? You laugh.
“I never took you for a jealous man, Bi-Han, but it makes sense now.”
His hand tightens around your throat in warning, making you groan. Despite the danger he poses, you can't help but taunt him.
“Does it rattle you that I chose Kuai Liang as my Grandmaster over you, after everything you have done for me? Did you expect me to get on my knees for you? I am not your precious Sektor.”
You have had about enough of him. There is no way you plan to join him. The icing on the cake comes after. You know it is petty, but you are mad. Why must you have to steel your heart when it comes to a greedy, self-absorbed man like him?
“You think I'm promiscuous? Perhaps you are jealous that I never spread my legs for you.”
A surprised silence fills the air. You realize too late what this means; too late that you had set the stage for him. In hindsight, perhaps you wanted it to come to this.
Releasing your throat, Bi-Han grabs your face and tilts your head to his advantage, forcing you to look at him.
“I admit regret.”
For what? You widen your eyes in disbelief. The answer is staring you in the face.
“I'm not promiscuous.”
Bi-Han hums.
The other hand he used to yank down your mask, he slips between your thighs, vigorously grasping you through your pants. You shiver in response, taking in a deep uneasy breath. Shit. This is not the reaction you expected.
“Such resistance,” he mocks.
You narrow your eyes heatedly at him. For fucks sake. You want more than ever to punch him in the face. If only he was not kneading your sex like a sore muscle. Your mind and body are not in sync. Though perhaps they are and it is taking you longer to admit that this is the attention you always wanted from Bi-Han.
Breathing heavily through your nose, you avert your attention. Not even the shattered body of the second assassin deters you from taking pleasure in this.
“Look at me,” Bi-Han orders.
You do so, almost robotically. It must be muscle memory. The man in question stares at your face for a moment as he fondles you, and then he pulls your head in and presses his chapped lips against yours in a rough kiss.
Restless, you open your mouth and softly touch your tongue against his bottom lip. Bi-Han seems uncertain as if he did not intend for you to react so welcoming to him, but he soon opens his mouth and presses his tongue against yours. With the control back in his favor, he tilts your head and leads the kiss. You hum in relief. However, the brooding Grandmaster is not keen on romance or intimacy; this is obvious.
He removes his hand from your sex, much to your displeasure, and forces his fingers into the waistband of your pants, yanking them down past your hips and ass. A chill bites at your naked skin, but as Bi-Han tugs aside your underwear and sinks a finger into your pussy, you soon forget about the cold air. Your legs buckle and your stomach tightens.
It's strange given the circumstances, but you know you certainly should not be enjoying this as much as you are. What will Kuai Liang and Lord Liu Kang think of you? Not much, you assume. And honestly neither do you, but you can not help yourself.
This man is the bane of your existence, and yet, he is a bad habit you can not kick.
His tongue tastes sweet like green tea, a flavor you find suits him despite his toxic demeanor. A moment ago he implied that you were hot for his brother, but this does not deter you; it riles you and pushes you to show him how much he wants you. It's obvious in the way he tongue kisses you like he's desperate to show you the same thing.
Sliding out of your footwear, you lean against Bi-Han as you wiggle your hips in an attempt to remove your pants. If he would move his fingers, you would take your underwear off too. You grip the hand that is clung to your face and break from the kiss, leaning back the best you can.
“My clothes, let me take them off for you.”
Bi-Han gauges you. The look on his face shows that he is suspicious. He has every right to be. If he were anyone else, you would have attacked them already. Sliding your hand down between your thighs, you cover his hand through your underwear, squeezing it.
“You can feel how much I want this, right?” You utter.
The Grandmaster narrows his eyes in response, but removes his hand and steps back to give you space. He watches you carefully as you undress, though due to the mountain air, you only remove what you need to.
Bare from the waist down, you leisurely walk back to him, resting your hands on his chest.
“Did you bare yourself like this to my brother?” Bi-Han asks spitefully.
You consider kneeing him in the chest. Whatever. If he wants to be nasty, then so shall you.
“Do you also wish to know how he fucked me? That is nosy of you.”
Bi-Han curls his nose in disgust, an action that prompts a grin from you.
“He who makes assumptions is foolish.”
Without a warning, he grabs the back of your thighs and lifts you off your feet with ease. You gasp in shock and cling to him like a scared animal, trying to wrap your mind around the sudden action. Once the fear has faded and you are certain that he is not about to body slam you onto the ground, you wrap your legs around him and lean back to give him a heated look.
If not for his erection pressing against you then you would assume that he was not into this.
I suppose I am the foolish one.
Of course, he is into it. Even a man like Bi-Han can take pleasure in sex. And what is better than turning your enemy into a writhing mess? What he fails to see, however, is that you have an advantage here.
Sliding your hand into his pants, you take hold of him, leisurely stroking his shaft up and down. His muscles tighten beneath you and to your sheer delight, Bi-Han quietly groans. You quicken your pace, hoping to draw more from him, but he selfishly shifts you in his arms, using a free hand to slide his pants down past his waist.
You feel the head of his cock align with your sex a moment before he thrusts into you, shifting you again so that your legs are resting on his forearms. Used against you, your body sinks to the base, folded up in a way that makes it difficult to breathe well. Even though you are a little wet, his girth stretches your walls almost painfully, making you feel thoroughly full. You tighten your jaw, suppressing a groan. There isn’t much you can do in this position but wrap your arms around his shoulders and take whatever he gives you.
He had to have known that by doing this, you would be at his mercy. It both excites and infuriates you.
Pressing you close to him, he uses one hand to prevent you from falling back; the other grasps your ass as he begins to vigorously bounce you on his cock.
Your lips part and embarrassingly a desperate moan escapes. For fucks sake. You did not expect it to be like this. It is surprisingly intimate this close to him. You do not know where to look. And honestly, you don't want to give Bi-Han the honor of seeing how undone he is making you feel.
But do I have a choice?
Even your body enjoys embarrassing you. The lewd wet slaps permeating the still cold air make your face heat up. Each quick breath that pours from you sends out a wisp of fog, but you can not help it.
He feels so good.
The amount of stamina Bi-Han must have to fuck you like this is incredible. He does not appear to be breaking a sweat at all, though laces of his hair have escaped his bun, bouncing against his face as he thrusts into you.
For a moment, you forget how much pain he has caused you. The pleasure surging through your body is too real. It consumes you, so much so the world around you begins to contort in a saturated blur. You realize too late that tears pour down your heated face.
“Dry your eyes,” Bi-Han demands sternly.
You bite back an insult.
“Can't…not yet.”
When did he become so cruel?
“You would ignore an order?” He asks.
What is his deal? You give him a heated look.
“You're not my Grandmaster anymore, Bi-Han,” you sneer. Your tone cracks a bit as you lower it. “Just fuck me…please. I need you like this.”
The man in question does not make a rebuttal. You are not sure if this means the end for you or not, but you close your eyes and relish the feeling of being this close to him. To your relief, he does not falter or stop.
You whine as the pressure in your lower body increases. But it's not nearly enough. Not yet. You rely on Bi-Han’s strength to keep you upright, sinking a hand between your thighs to tease your clit in small, deep rotations. It does not take long for the pressure to build to the point where you orgasm.
Your eyes roll back as waves of pleasure wash over you. It feels intense; all-consuming, like everything and nothing at the same time. But it only lasts for a minute before the feeling fades and you crash land back into reality.
Leaning forward, you rest against Bi-Han as he continues to fuck you. Like this, you are aware of the bitter cold nipping at your skin and the sting of his nails as they bite into your right ass cheek. It hurts a bit, but you do not entirely mind it.
Little by little, you feel his muscles start to tense. He does not make much of a noise as he comes; the only indication you have is when he suddenly slides from you, leaving you feeling empty and sore.
For a moment, the two of you remain in place but once you have caught your breath, you lift your head, wiping away the tears.
“Put me down.”
Bi-Han grunts in annoyance, but instead of arguing with you, he releases your shaking legs one at a time and sets you back on the floor. Your foot makes contact with something wet and cold and upon further investigation, you realize that you stepped in his cum.
At least he didn't shoot it inside me.
Retrieving your clothes, you use your underwear to clean yourself off until you can take a bath. You watch in suspicion, unsure of what to do, as the man in front of you redresses and slips back on his mask. Is he going to attack you? Or leave you be?
Before you can slide on your pants, Bi-Han approaches you. Shit. He wants a second round. You take a fighting stance, but he unexpectedly grabs your arm and yanks you forward.
Standing so close to him, you can not understand what he is going to do until an extremely hot pain shoots up your side. No, it isn't hot. It is gelid. You scream out in pain and attempt to jerk away from him, but Bi-Han crushes you against his chest.
“Resist and I will do more than mark you,” he states.
He's marking you.
It fucking hurts.
Your side is on fire. Tears leak down your face as you sob in pain, then it is over. Bi-Han releases you and you fall to the floor, feeling faint. Across your skin is a burn in the shape of a handprint; it is already starting to blister.
“Are you out of your mind?!” You cry out.
Bi-Han narrows his eyes.
“You are in denial. It's clear to me where your loyalty lies, and until you come to terms with the bitter truth, I'll leave you with that reminder.”
Denial. What does he mean?
“What bitter truth?” You ask with a sneer.
Instead of giving you an answer, he turns and walks toward the entrance.
“Bi-Han…BI-HAN!”
How can he just leave you with so many unanswered questions? And in this mindset. You still do not know why he came here. Clutching your clothes in your hand, you hold back your anger, ignoring the pleasant ache in your core he left you with.
Perhaps I do know what he means.
The bitter truth is you care far too much for him to turn your back on him. But his views are too immoral to ignore. As for the other questions, you are sure you will have a run-in with him again.
But what will I do?
Only time will tell.
[Fluff] Sheeva X Female! Human Reader *A Family?* Part One
Tumblr media
[Name] had her struggles holding in her laughter since her beloved Shokan warrior wouldn’t stop trickling her, having her cheeks puff up and containing her laughter. “Come on love, you’re going to have to laugh sooner or later.” Sheeva continues to trickle her lover’s side with her two hands while her second pair of arms are folded, hearing the [Hair Length] [Hair Color] woman laugh.
Sheeva may have been rough around the edges but deep inside she was nothing but a big softie whenever they were alone, even though the four-armed warrior would go back into her toughness around other Shokan Warriors. Hearing about her lover had put Sheeva in a better mode and didn’t feel any stress of dealing with troublemakers, even though she had to deal with most Shokans.
The two had met when [Name] had been in the Lin Kuei and never been converted into a cyborg, a few clan members had never been changed into cyborgs or managed to escape to avoid being converted like Sektor, Cyrax and the younger Sub-Zero had. Soon after the two had clicked after the war to take control of Earthrealm, even though the two had waited until everything settled down.
Pulling herself together from having a reddened face and probably losing her voice from laughing too much, the [Color Eye] woman looked at Sheeva while breathing heavily. “Are you feeling better?” She asked when regaining her breath as she held her chest, coughing a bit from laughing too much but who wouldn’t get tricked by a Shokan warrior?
Sektor stood next to unchanged [Name] while Shao Kahn had given out orders, even though the [Skin Color] woman was paired up with Sheeva. She never questions it or someone’s orders from an ally, but she never really sees the point of arguing with Sektor or anyone that’s part of Shao Kahn’s court, thus dealing with Kano’s flirting or anyone.
[Name] had her struggles of keeping herself at bay when she’s on the lookout since she has a habit of running somewhere on her own to handle anyone that’s trying to stop any plans, however, Sheeva is keeping a close eye on her to make sure that she doesn’t do anything risky. Why am I getting attached to this human? Sheeva thought to herself.
Sheeva chuckles softly while letting her lover be since it’s nearly time for dinner, sure they live in a peaceful home but something was missing that didn’t make anything feel like home to the Shokan warrior. What is missing in our lives? She thought to herself while finding the answer, only coming to the thought of a child that would make things whole.
Maybe adopting a child wouldn’t hurt but how should they adopt if Sheeva isn’t human? [Name] is the only human that she fell in love with and married, yes they have gotten married after peace came to Earthrealm and Netherrealm. Thus their home became hard to locate since Sheeva didn’t want any harm to come to her wife or the children that they had adopted.
[Name] kissed Sheeva on the cheek before heading into the kitchen to cook, learning what Shokans eat and what not to eat. She had been learning things about her lover’s race and what they do, but learning about different races’ cultures came with a price; nothing bad really but something that worries her about her wife’s safety and all.
Once dinner had been made and served on plates that [Name] kept while being in the clan of assassins most clan members had freely joined and bought something with them. “You always made a good meal, my dear.” Sheeva holds up a cup, making her wife blush and raise her cup as well. “Thank you, dear.” She replied with a smile.
Dinner had been nice and peaceful but both of them knew that they were missing something, something that they always dream of having, and that it was children that they wanted to have. “What do you think of children?” [Name] asked her wife as she looked up from her plate, watching her four-armed wife’s movements.
“Honestly, they can be a nuisance but that doesn’t bother me. I would like to have one or two.” Sheeva answered her wife’s question while looking up at her, wondering if she wanted to have kids. “Do you want kids?” She then asked her wife with a curious look, watching her wife nod her head softly. “Yes, I do.” [Name] smiled.
Sheeva couldn’t help but smile at her wife’s answer which made her think of something, some orphanages would let them adopt one or two children. “We can go and adopt a child or children if you desire to have two kids running around.” The Shokan warrior said while continuing to eat, making her human wife smile before she continued to eat as well.
 Having two children would be a great way, plus the house would be fully alive with little feet running around. [Name] couldn’t help but think of having children running around the house, it made her excited and very flattery. “Alright then, let’s get two kids,” She blurted out loud.
After dinner was finished and both lovers were doing the dishes, [Name] washed the dishes while handing them to Sheeva to dry off before putting them in a rack to let them fully dry. “We’ll go to the orphanage tomorrow morning, hopefully, they’ll let us be allowed to adopt.” Sheeva dries off her hands while watching her wife, surely it worries her about certain things.
“I’m sure they will be dear, we just need to hope that we can find a good place to adopt our dream children from.” [Name] dried off her hands before taking her wife’s hands, having a smile on her face. “Now, let’s go to bed so we can get up early in the morning.” She added while both she and her wife walked to their shared bedroom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hiya, sorry it’s been awhile since I posted an X Reader story on Tumblr, I’ve been trying to edit some short stories but I’m easily distracted by some games (Red Dead Redemption games, mostly). Anyways, this is a repost since I removed/forgotten about the older one.
And yes, the reader was part of the Lin Kuei but left soon after Sektor became the grandmaster.
Um… Well… This imagine turned into a whole one-shot. I'll try to shorten it in the future. I realized that I can't write short fic.🥲
.
.
He was on the brink of death.
Bi-Han felt the specter of death looming closer than ever before as he dragged his battered body through the uncharted terrain of Outworld. While he had faced dangerous situations in the past, none had brought him as precariously close to the brink as this one. With every step, he pressed a hand against his stomach, where a gaping wound on his right side oozed blood, a portion of it torn away. His vision dimmed gradually, like a flickering lamp nearing its end, his breathing ragged, his steps unsteady. Despite having accomplished his mission, he snarled with what little strength remained, enraged that his slight lapse in caution would cost him his life.
Each step grew more arduous, his coordination failing as darkness encroached upon his sight. Unable to discern what obstacles tripped him amidst the dimming landscape, he collapsed heavily onto the ground. The wound, incessantly bleeding with each convulsion of his body, sent tremors of agony coursing through him, threatening to shatter his teeth as he gritted them in pain.
Struggling to roll onto his side, Bi-Han expelled the soil that had invaded his mouth and smeared his lips, laboring to draw oxygen into his weakened lungs. Above, the sky darkened, with the moon and stars emerging while clouds gathered ominously, presaging the impending rain. It was a grim realization that in this barren, lifeless landscape, he would meet his end alone—a consequence of his arrogance and overconfidence in his abilities. Dry and lifeless plants dotted the cracked earth, while rocks and pebbles stretched as far as the eye could see, with no sign of a river or any semblance of life.
Death had never been a fear for him, he was raised with the understanding that every moment could be his last. Memories raced through his mind like fragments of a shattered mirror; his training, the teachings of his clan, and the faces of those he had loved and lost along the way. Amidst the pain, a sense of regret gnawed at him, whispering of unfinished business and promises left unfulfilled. Yet, amidst the turmoil, a resolute determination surged within him, a steadfast refusal to succumb to the darkness that threatened to consume him. While the frustration and ambition of leaving his goals unfinished weighed heavily, he found a measure of peace in knowing that Kuai Liang would capably assume the mantle of grandmaster and safeguard the clan.
As he drew a deep breath, a fit of coughing wracked him, the bitter taste of blood filling his mouth. Turning his head to the side to avoid suffocation, he surrendered to a numbing sensation that dulled his senses from head to toe.
Finally, unable to stave off the encroaching darkness any longer, his eyes, barely able to remain open, fluttered closed.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
The first sensation that washed over him was a soothing warmth, cocooning him like a comforting embrace. Blinking open his eyes, Bi-Han found himself lying atop a soft surface, the faint scent of clean soap wafting around him. In the distance, he could hear a soft female voice humming a kind of melody, accompanied by the clinking of plates and dishes. Struggling to lift his heavy eyelids, he squinted at the wooden ceiling above him, its rough texture illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight casting dancing shadows across the room.
‘’The hell?’’
His words emerged hoarsely from his parched throat. As he attempted to sit up, the covers slipped off, landing on his lap, and a sharp pain shot through his side where the wound lay. Clenching his hand over the bandages wrapped around his abdomen, he felt the fabric instead of his usual cold skin. The bandages appeared freshly changed, but his right side had already begun to bleed anew due to his carelessness.
With a muttered curse, Bi-Han glanced around the room, his body tensing as footsteps approached. Instinctively, he summoned an ice kunai into his hand, a simple gesture that now felt exhausting under the circumstances. Just as the figure drew near, he leveled the weapon with a silent threat.
‘’I didn’t go through all this trouble just for you to kill me,’’ admonished a soft female voice. ‘’Besides, I’ve just changed those bandages, and now I’ll have to do it all over again. Why are you still sitting? You need to lay down.’’
Bi-Han’s surprise was tinged with suspicion. Was this woman blind? How could she not have noticed the sharp kunai in his hand? Moreover, she appeared unarmed, leaving herself defenseless against him. His anger flared at the implication that he was underestimated. Even injured, he was still a lethal force to be reckoned with.
‘’Do you intend to worsen the bleeding?’’ she continued calmly, stepping closer but maintaining a cautious distance. ‘‘I am not a threat to you. My name is (y/n). I found you and brought you to my home for treatment. You’ve been here for three days. If I wanted to harm you, I wouldn’t have bothered bringing you back from the brink.’’
Bi-Han’s gaze softened slightly as he absorbed her words. Despite his initial hostility, there was something about her demeanor that suggested genuine concern. Yet, he remained wary, his mind racing with questions and suspicions.
‘’Why?” growled Bi-Han through clenched teeth, his gaze sharp as he eyed the young woman standing before him.
The woman blinked in surprise at the question. “I don’t understand.”
“Why did you save me?”
“Because you were dying,” she replied innocently, taking another step toward him. “Now, will you let go of what you have and let me help you?”
“I can take care of myself,” Bi-Han insisted, trying not to be swayed by the woman’s gentle aura as he moved to stand up, wary of her true intentions. The woman’s expression clouded with worry.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
“Don’t interfere—Fuck.” Despite his attempt to rise, sharp pain lanced through Bi-Han’s body, threatening to overwhelm him. Just as he felt himself faltering, a soft body caught him, careful to avoid his wound. A sweet scent enveloped him—cinnamon and vanilla—intoxicatingly sweet, like fresh-baked buns.
Relaxing involuntarily, Bi-Han allowed the woman to guide him back onto the bed, his resistance waning. She had a point—if she wanted him dead, she wouldn’t have gone to such lengths to keep him alive for three days, despite being a total stranger.
“I have to open the bandages and check your stitches. I’m afraid they may have burst.”
“I’ll take care of it myself,” Bi-Han retorted, refusing to show weakness or dependence.
“Why won’t you let me help you?” The woman’s voice softened, her gentle demeanor tugging at something within Bi-Han. Though he remained silent, she sighed deeply. “I have a light touch and am quite fast, you can trust me. If I happen to hurt you, you can also treat your wounds. I just want to assist and ease your suffering, especially since you’re badly wounded. Oh and besides that, I made some stew. I’m sure you’re hungry.”
Bi-Han scrutinized (y/n) for the first time since waking, assessing her body language and facial expressions. As an assassin, he rarely misjudged people. Despite his initial wariness, he sensed a purity and compassion within her that he couldn’t ignore. The subtle tilt of her head and the warmth in her eyes felt genuine. Even though he couldn’t fathom why she would go to such lengths to heal a dangerous person like him, knowing he could easily harm her without breaking a sweat, he found himself appreciating her compassion. Yet, alongside his gratitude, a twinge of annoyance gnawed at him, stemming from her apparent blindness to the danger he inherently posed.
With a resigned grunt, he relented, allowing her to tend to him as she saw fit, though a part of him remained on guard, ready to react at the slightest sign of threat.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
A week had passed since his return from the brink of death, and four days since he had awakened in your home. In that time, while his wound had begun to heal rapidly, his movements remained slow and restricted. Returning to his clan without a full recovery would only be self-torment, risking undoing the healing process with his own hands. And also, you were stubborn about it, showing no inclination to let him go until he was fully restored to health.
As absurd as the situation seemed to Bi-Han, it also warmed him in a way he hadn’t anticipated. Despite his injuries, he was an assassin and the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei—capable of neutralizing any threat that crossed his path. But you posed no threat; instead, you cared for him with remarkable dedication, as if welcoming a normal person into your home rather than a man with lethal abilities. Day by day, Bi-Han found himself lowering his guard against you, a sensation he struggled to control.
During the first night, while you slept, he scrutinized every corner of your house, finding no weapons or defenses. There was nothing you could have done to protect yourself from him. Trained from an early age to turn disadvantage into advantage, Bi-Han realized that this was not the case here. You harbored no ulterior motives; your only intention was to help him.
With the house being small and his movement limited by his wound, Bi-Han had ample time to observe and learn about you. Spending time together, he discovered your extraordinary ability to heal and revive him using soul magic—a gift passed down from your father. Bi-Han refrained from prying into your past, respecting the boundaries you set. He knew only what you chose to share—that your father was a merchant who often left for months at a time with his caravan.
Staring at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, barely able to fit two people, Bi-Han assessed his unkempt appearance. His normally well-kept hair hung loose, difficult to manage due to his injury, cascading down his neck to his chest. A scruffy beard obscured his chin, his pale skin accentuated by dark circles under his eyes. Running a hand through his hair, he muttered to himself, ‘‘I need to shave… And I definitely need a damn shower.’’
‘’Did you say something?’’ Bi-Han looked at you inquisitively from the bathroom door, wondering how long you had been standing there watching him. Your cheeks flushed a sweet shade of red as you realized you had been caught. ‘’Well, the door was open, so—I thought, um… do you need something? I heard you talking to yourself,’’ you said, trying to regain your composure quickly.
‘‘I need to take a shower, and I also need to trim my beard. It itches.’’
‘’Oh, sure. The towels are right there.’’ you replied, entering the room and retrieving the towels from the wooden closet under the sink. As you spoke, you kept busy, avoiding his gaze. ‘‘It’s better if your wound doesn’t get wet for a while longer. I can give you a cloth to wipe your body, and I can help with your hair. If you want, of course.’’ Though you added the last part hastily, your avoidance of his gaze didn’t go unnoticed by Bi-Han, who couldn’t help but smirk slightly.
It was evident from your demeanor that you held an interest in him—your actions were transparent and sincere. What intrigued Bi-Han even more was that he also found himself drawn to you. For the first time in a long while, there was no need for him to be on guard, and your presence offered an unexpected reprieve from his usual responsibilities. You brought him more comfort than anyone had before, your dedication focused on helping rather than brute force, and you effortlessly dismantled the walls he had built around himself. It was a mystery to Bi-Han how you managed to achieve this in such a short time, but your presence had a calming effect on him.
‘’Do whatever you want.’’ Bi-Han said, beginning to undress. Your eyes widened in alarm at his actions.
‘’W-What are you doing?’’
‘’I will wipe my body as you said. Since you’re so helpful, maybe you’d like to assist me with that too?’’ Bi-Han lowered his voice, locking eyes with you as he took pleasure in the crimson blush that spread across your face. He didn’t fully understand this newfound calmness and playful demeanor within himself, but he felt compelled to act this way around you. You weren’t under his command or a threat to be eliminated; instead, you were the reason he was still alive. Though he was reluctant to admit it, he owed you his life.
Your response was stuttered and unclear as you hurriedly left the bathroom as if it were on fire. ‘’Just call out to me when you’re finished. And don’t forget to wrap a towel around yourself,’’ you called out from behind the door.
Bi-Han carefully placed his clothes in a corner to keep them dry, then settled onto the edge of the bathtub, ensuring not to disturb his bandages. Using the cloth you provided, he began to cleanse the dirt and grime from his body, avoiding the area of his wound. Minutes later, when the water ran clear, he wrapped one of the towels around his waist and called out to you.
Opening the door cautiously, you peeked inside to confirm that he was following your instructions. Seeing him with the towel wrapped around his waist, you entered the room and closed the door behind you. “Sit on the edge of the bathtub and lean your head back,” you instructed in a gentle tone. As Bi-Han complied, you adjusted the water temperature for a few seconds until it reached the desired level. Letting out a small murmur of approval, you turned your attention to him, holding a shower cap in your hand.
As your eyes met, your cheeks flushed once again, and you quickly averted your gaze to his hair. Clearing your throat with a small cough, you began to wet his hair, ensuring the water stayed away from his face. Bi-Han watched your every move with keen interest, finding pleasure in your innocence and sincerity.
“Does the water feel too hot?” you asked, breaking the silence.
A small grunt escaped Bi-Han’s lips. “I’m a cryomancer; water temperature doesn’t bother me.”
“Oh, right. I forgot. It’s not every day I meet someone like you. I thought cryomancers were just a myth,” your fingers hesitating slightly as you untangled his hair. Emboldened by his lack of reaction, you continued to work, carefully removing the knots with practiced hands. “Your hair is very beautiful.” you said in a low, soft voice that could be considered shy.
“It’s just black,” Bi-Han replied.
“It’s not just black; it’s like onyx, especially when it’s wet. I’ve never seen such dark black hair before. It suits you.” As you determined that his hair was sufficiently wet, you picked up a shampoo that smelled of sugary flowers and squeezed a generous amount into your hand. “I’m sorry, this is all I have. I hope it’s not a problem.” you said, your voice tinged with apology.
‘’It’s better than dirt,” Bi-Han remarked in a dry voice. Though he had no desire to smell like a flower garden, he also acknowledged that he didn’t have a better option. As your fingers began to massage his scalp, Bi-Han was taken aback by how pleasant it felt. Your deft fingers worked circles on his scalp, lathering the shampoo, and Bi-Han found himself relaxing in waves of relief, melting like ice rapidly thawing. The warmth in the bathroom, the gentle touch… it was almost overwhelming, especially given how skilled your fingers were at their task.
“You might want to close your eyes, I wouldn’t want the shampoo to run into them by accident.” You said, breaking him out of the trance he hadn’t even realized he had slipped into. Once again, Bi-Han was surprised at how low his guard was around you. He had stopped seeing you as a threat some time ago, but he couldn’t comprehend how easily he let down the automatic defenses he had cultivated over many years.
Closing his eyes, Bi-Han waited for you to rinse the shampoo from his hair. After washing for a while, you reached for the towel in the corner to help him dry off.
“Okay, you can stand up, we’re done.” you announced.
Bi-Han stood up quickly, stretching his neck, which had grown stiff from being in the same position for so long, before turning his gaze to you. With your cheeks flushed from the warmth of the bathroom, your clothes splattered with water drops, and your skin glowing from the moisture, you appeared vulnerable and innocent enough to make his chest ache.
Raised in a clan of ruthless assassins where survival and flawless execution of death were paramount, Bi-Han had always imagined the woman who would enter his life as strong, tough, with sharp eyes and an authoritarian nature to adapt to his lifestyle. Yet, looking at you, he began to question this assumption for the first time. You possessed a nurturing side that defied brute force, completely opposite to his expectations, and Bi-Han found himself unexpectedly drawn to this contrast. You were good to him.
“Bi-Han… You’ve been staring at me for a while. Is everything okay?” you asked.
“I want to kiss you.” Bi-Han blurted out suddenly. The words escaped his lips so spontaneously that he was as surprised as you were. Though he could have easily taken you in his arms and kissed you, he wanted your consent, to hear from your lips if you desired it as much as he did. You were the last person he wanted to intimidate or use force on.
As your eyes widened in astonishment, a loud “What?” escaped your lips.
‘’You heard me.” Bi-Han said sharply. Your cheeks flushed to the tips of your ears, the color he liked to see. Approving him in a soft, almost shy voice, your gaze drifted to the ground.
Finally hearing the answer he desired, Bi-Han growled and gently raised your head with his fingers grasping the tip of your chin. He connected his lips with yours, driven by a voracious appetite. This hunger was unlike anything he had ever experienced before, possessing a fiery intensity that shook him to his core. It wasn’t until he kissed you that he realized the depth of his feelings; he could have kissed your lips, as soft and tender as rose petals, for hours, sating an inner thirst he hadn’t known existed.
His hand traced the line of your jaw, capturing the back of your head and part of your neck. Placing his other hand on the curve of your waist, he gently squeezed the soft flesh, eliciting a small, breathless moan from your lips. Your voice, trembling like a whip of flame, ignited a dangerous fire within Bi-Han.
There was a unique taste to you, one that defined you completely. It was clean, like dewdrops forming on leaves in the morning spring, and wet as he slid his tongue between your parted lips. Another small moan escaped you as you placed your hands on his shoulders, your thumbs massaging the veins that began to appear on his neck. Bi-Han found himself hating the bathtub that stood as a barrier between them, longing to bridge the distance between you.
‘’Hold on tight.” He growled savagely, his lips pouring forth a mixture of desire and intensity. With your flushed cheeks, half-lidded eyes, and breathless look, you embodied a dangerous blend of innocence and allure, a presence that could emerge on the wettest of nights. As you tightened your grip on his shoulders in response to his command, Bi-Han effortlessly lifted you from the bathtub, as if you weighed nothing at all.
“Bi-Han! Your wound–” you began, concern lacing your voice.
“I’m fine.” Bi-Han cut you off, dismissing any objections as he instructed you to wrap your legs around his waist. He captured your lips again, this time with a fierce hunger that left little room for gentleness. Despite his intentions to proceed slowly and remain in control, you made it nearly impossible with your presence alone. Your scent, your soft skin, your delicate movements – they all acted as an irresistible spell, unraveling Bi-Han’s logic and common sense piece by piece.
Drops of water from his wet hair trailed down your cheek, then your neck, as Bi-Han followed their path with his tongue. He paused at the curve of your neck, grazing your skin with his teeth.
“You don’t even know how bad I want you. Now.” he declared in a voice thick with desire, his need palpable. Tilting his head slightly, he took your earlobe between his teeth, exerting just enough pressure to send a shiver down your spine. “Can I have you?”
You trembled in his arms, pressing your body against his, and buried your head in the curve of his neck, your voice barely above a whisper, the soft cadence of your affirmation barely audible against his skin.
“Yes. Ah, to—to bed… Let’s go to bed.” you murmured, your voice filled with anticipation.
Responding to your command, Bi-Han carried you swiftly into the bedroom, stealing kisses and caressing your soft flesh which filled perfectly in his palms along the way. As he carefully placed you on the bed, he ensured not to overwhelm you with his weight. With one knee positioned between your legs and applying small pressure to your aching core, he felt your breath quicken, your legs parting slightly, inviting him closer.
“Bi-Han, please… hurry,” you pleaded, your voice trembling with need. Despite not yet fully engaging in intimacy, you were already consumed by desire, your surrender evident in every trembling breath and pleading glance. Bi-Han found himself entranced by the unique blend of your naivety and charm, a combination both intoxicating and heady. It puzzled him how you could exude such innocence while also igniting a fire within him, a sensation he found both captivating and bewildering.
With every inhibition shattered, Bi-Han’s entire being was consumed by you. His mind echoed with a commanding voice, declaring possession. ‘Mine. You are mine.’ With each beat of his heart, the intensity of his desire deepened, enveloping him in a whirlwind of need. His arousal surged with a newfound fervor, driving him to seek you with an urgency he had never known before. He longed to lose himself in your warmth, to leave an indelible mark on you, claiming you as his own in a way that no other could satisfy you again.
‘‘Fuck. I wanted to take it slow,” Bi-Han cursed, his voice filled with frustration.
“Another time,” you replied swiftly. “I want you, Bi-Han. I need you… just… please.” As your attempts to form coherent sentences faltered, you resorted to expressing your desires through your eyes, tears clung to your lashes, your need laid bare for him to see. Despite the flush that colored your face, neck, your chest peeking through your clothes, your timidity had been replaced by a raw, unbridled desire.
“Another time.” Bi-Han echoed your words, his tone laced with determination. It was a promise, a vow to indulge in the intoxicating taste of you until every inch of your body bore his mark. The thought had transformed into a primal need, a longing to possess you completely.
With swift motions, Bi-Han stripped away your clothes, discarding them haphazardly. As predicted, your chest also completely flushed dark, your nipples hardening under his gaze, pleading for his touch.
“You are such a sight… so beautiful,” Bi-Han murmured, his words tinged with reverence. You squirmed under his attention, somewhat embrassed by his words and attempted to cover yourself clumsily. As he untied the towel from his waist, he fixed you with a stern gaze. “Don’t you dare hide anything from me. This is not a request.”
When his cold fingers made contact with the intimate area between your legs, you flinched at the sudden chill. Instead of recoiling, however, you parted your legs, wordlessly inviting him closer. Bi-Han found himself drawn to this decadent aspect of you, contrasting with your usual demeanor. You were slick with arousal, your warmth enveloping his cold touch until it reached a semblance of normalcy.
“Next time, I will explore you slowly, savoring every moment,” he declared, his voice brooking no argument.
And so he did.
Another two weeks slipped by, each day marked by the steady healing of his wound and the gradual return of his strength. Strangely, Bi-Han found himself not minding the passing of time, a stark contrast from his usual restlessness. Even though his days were now filled with the singular purpose of recuperation, he couldn’t bring himself to feel bored in your company.
You had established a routine of caring for him in the house. Every morning, after sharing breakfast together, you diligently tended to his wound, changing bandages with meticulous care. Despite his stature, Bi-Han appreciated the gentleness with which you handled him, as if afraid to cause him any discomfort.
Following this, Bi-Han would retreat outdoors to meditate or exercise, while you busied yourself with tending to the garden and other household chores. Occasionally, you would venture to the market, a task Bi-Han offered to take over multiple times, only to be politely declined by you each time. He sensed a trace of anxiety in your eyes whenever you left, as though fearing his departure in your absence.
The reality of his impending departure weighed heavily on Bi-Han. Though duty called him back to his clan and responsibilities, he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving you behind. The bond between you had grown deeper with each passing day, surpassing even the connections he shared with his own brothers. You had a remarkable ability to understand him without words, a skill few others possessed.
In your presence, Bi-Han found himself rediscovering aspects of himself long buried beneath the facade of his assassin persona. With you, he experienced a sense of comfort and peace he hadn’t known in years. Every touch, every embrace left him yearning for more, a relentless desire burning within him. He marveled at the intensity of his feelings for you, realizing that he wanted every part of you in a way he had never imagined possible.
His favorite time of the day was undoubtedly dinner. Sitting across from you, sharing simple conversations, witnessing your smile, hearing your laughter, and seeing your eyes light up brought him joy. It was a simplicity he hadn’t experienced since becoming the grandmaster. Once disciplined, strict, and focused solely on responsibilities, he now found value in these moments, offering him a new perspective on life.
As both of you sat facing each other at dinner, Bi-Han decided it was time to address the lingering topic that had hung in the air for some time.
“You mentioned you could remove my stitches in a few days, after that I’ll return to Earthrealm.” He stated firmly. Though he disliked seeing the smile on your face fade, you both knew he couldn’t remain cocooned in this sanctuary forever.
“Oh… So you’ve decided on the day.” You responded, averting your gaze as you spoke. When you reached for your wine, Bi-Han gently grasped your hand, halting your movement.
“I want you to come with me.” he declared.
Your eyes widened with surprise. “To your clan? Really?”
“Yes, I want you to see where I live.” Bi-Han lifted your wrist, his touch still gentle as he grazed his index finger against your skin, all while maintaining unbroken eye contact. “I wasn’t joking when I said you were mine.”
Your cheeks flushed slightly as a sweet laugh escaped your lips, a sound Bi-Han found irresistible. In that moment, he realized his attachment to you ran deeper than he had ever realized.
“You know, I’m not an item that you can take wherever you want.”
“I didn’t mean it in that sense.” His gaze shifted to the dozen bruises on your neck, a satisfied curl tugging at the corner of his lip. Each mark filled him with a sense of ownership, igniting a fire within him every time he saw them.
“Then it’s only fair that I should say that you are also mine.” you countered. Despite your brave demeanor, your face betrayed your true feelings once again. As you took a sip from your glass, attempting to hide your expression, Bi-Han watched you silently, a smile playing on his lips, hidden only by his hand resting on his chin.
As Bi-Han grappled with the conflicting desires pulling at his heartstrings — duty to his clan and the burgeoning attachment to you — a storm of emotions raged within him. The weight of responsibility tugged relentlessly, reminding him of the obligations he bore as the leader of the clan. However, a shadow began to loom over his resolve, stirring a longing for something more.
“I’d love to,’’ you finally said after a moment. ‘‘But I have to wait for my father’s return; I don’t know when he will come here.’’
“You can leave a note.”
“I’d rather talk it over with him face to face,” you insisted politely. “But I can come to visit from time to time. If it’s convenient for you, of course, I’d love to see where you grew up and spend time there.”
It had been five months since Bi-Han returned to his clan, and everything was just as he had left it. Kuai Liang had managed the clan well in his absence, with the assistance of Tomas and Sektor, although Bi-Han knew his brother was downplaying his own contributions. Despite the slight age difference between them, Kuai Liang was more than capable of assuming the role of grandmaster.
There was considerable curiosity among the clan members about his prolonged absence and the circumstances surrounding it. Tomas, in particular, had been concerned for his well-being the most. During a briefing with the council members, consisting solely of his inner circle, Bi-Han provided a summary of what happened, including mentioning you and your remarkable abilities. The news of your impending visit piqued the interest of everyone present, even if they attempted to conceal it.
Although you could only visit twice in five months, you effortlessly bonded with his brothers. Even with Sektor and Cyrax, you made it easy to connect, your kind soul evident in your demeanor and smile. It felt as though you had always been a member of the clan, your presence comforting and familiar to everyone. During conversations, you repeatedly expressed feeling comfortable and safe around them. This, coupled with the unique way you contributed to Bi-Han’s recovery, swiftly earned you the respect of the entire clan.
When you did visit, Bi-Han found solace and peace in holding you in his arms once more. In your absence, he had been on edge, constantly worrying about your well-being. Your presence felt like a breath of fresh air, infusing color and vibrancy into his otherwise monotonous existence. He couldn’t pinpoint the exact moment he fell in love with you, but your influence had been undeniable from the moment he first laid eyes on you. The desire to keep you close, to protect you at all costs, consumed him, even though he knew the realities of their lives would make it challenging. Being separated from you had taken a toll on his nerves, leaving him irritable and restless. Amidst the tumultuous whirlwind of his thoughts, Bi-Han grappled with the overwhelming desire to see you again.
The last time you visited, you stayed for a while. One night, in particular, is etched clearly in Bi-Han’s mind. A fierce wind howled outside, causing the windows to rattle, while snow fell rapidly, swirling in the storm and clinging to the glass surfaces. Except for the candles flickering in the room, there was no other light, casting a dim glow. The scent of both of you enveloped the room like a heavy blanket.
After bringing you to climax multiple times, your body glowed with vitality like a pearl, cheeks flushed dark with a serene smile adorning your face. Half of your body draped over him, your elegant fingers traced lazy circles on his bare chest, while Bi-Han’s hand caressed the smooth skin of your back. In that moment, he felt complete, as if a part of him that he didn’t even know was missing had been found. It was as if you were both separate individuals yet inexplicably intertwined—each completing the other.
When your fingers ceased their movement altogether, Bi-Han glanced down to see why, his heart swelling with warmth. You had drifted off to sleep, your face relaxed in slumber, lips slightly parted. You appeared so peaceful that Bi-Han couldn’t bring himself to disturb you. This wasn’t the first time you had fallen asleep beside him, and each time, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and a burning desire to protect you. He knew you trusted him enough to reveal your vulnerability in these moments.
His mind was more at ease than ever before. Even though he was in his own home, with you beside him, he felt a sense of belonging that he had never experienced before. Especially during the times he awaited your arrival, he had never felt such intense longing to see someone again—your presence shaking his very core, pushing the limits of his endurance. He wasn’t sure how much longer he could bear being without you; your absence felt like torment, while your presence transformed him into a different man altogether.
Although the notion of someone having such power over him would typically be unsettling, he couldn’t view it negatively because it was you. What concerned him more was the possibility of others noticing—the fear that his enemies might discover you, exploiting his vulnerability by hurtin you.
Two and a half months had passed since he last laid eyes on you, adding to the weight of the task Lord Liu Kang had bestowed upon him and his brothers. He longed to complete this mission swiftly and reunite with you, yearning for the calming embrace of your presence. The strain of constant vigilance was taking its toll on him, both mentally and physically, culminating in his recent capture alongside Kuai Liang.
Navigating the stone corridors of Ying Fortress, Bi-Han found himself flanked by a dozen soldiers, with Kuai Liang by his side and Shang Tsung and General Shao ahead of them. Shang Tsung’s words fell on deaf ears as Bi-Han contemplated his next move, steadfast in his refusal to entertain any offers from these unfamiliar men. His focus remained fixed on devising an escape plan to extricate himself from this predicament. As they traversed the corridor into a vast area, Bi-Han was confronted by a multitude of stone sculptures lining the space. Hindered by the restraints on his wrists, he scanned the area for any potential means of escape, exchanging a knowing glance with Kuai Liang, who mirrored his uncertainty.
“Father?”
Bi-Han’s eyes widened at the sudden sound of a familiar, albeit unexpected, female voice behind them. Sensing Kuai Liang’s reaction, he knew it wasn’t a trick of his imagination. With a swift turn, his heart raced as he watched the soldiers before him part, revealing your approach. What the hell were you doing here?
“What’s going on here — Bi-Han?” Your wide-eyed astonishment mirrored his own. As Bi-Han scanned you for any signs of harm, he moved to approach you. But before he could reach, a soldier struck him in the stomach with the tip of his weapon, causing him to stagger backward.
‘’Stop! What do you think you’re doing?!” Your voice, tinged with worry as you shoved the soldier aside, your anxious eyes locking with his. “Bi-Han, are you all right?”
“What are you doing here?” Bi-Han growled out a whisper, tension taut in his voice.
“I’m asking you the same.”
“What is the meaning of this? Do you two know each other?” Shang Tsung’s voice sliced through the hushed talk, prompting Bi-Han to instinctively shield you, despite the restraints on his hands. Determined to protect you at all costs, Bi-Han urged you to take cover behind him, his voice laced with venom. “Get behind me.” he commanded, his grip tightening protectively around your arm.
“There is no need. He is my father.” You revealed, catching Bi-Han off guard with the unexpected revelation. Stunned by the revelation, Bi-Han chastised himself for not piecing together the clues sooner. Living in Outworld, soul magic, an enigmatic father figure—it all suddenly made sense. Yet, your stark differences in character from your father only deepened Bi-Han’s sense of disbelief.
“Why are they prisoners?” you questioned, your gaze flickering between your father and the imposing figure of General Shao and the eerie aura that seemed to surround them.
“They attacked us.” General Shao asserted, his voice gruff as he responded to your inquiry. “We were about to take care of business before you came, sorceress.” Despite Shao’s attempt to intimidate you with his imposing presence, Shang Tsung interjected before Bi-Han, shooting Shao a warning glance.
“They attacked?” Your gaze flickered momentarily, silently questioning the situation. ‘Why?’ The unspoken question hung in the air, directed at Bi-Han. “I’m sure there’s been a misunderstanding.”
“They were sent here by Liu Kang’s order. To catch us and maybe kill us.” Shao divulged, his voice dripping with hostility.
“Why so? Nobody has told me anything since I was brought here, and even now you still insist on not telling me. I want to know what’s going on. Tell me the truth.”
“Walk with me,” Shang Tsung interjected, gesturing towards a secluded area. With a final, anxious glance towards Bi-Han, you complied, flanked by Shao and Shang Tsung. Bi-Han’s instincts screamed to follow, but he was thwarted by the soldiers’ firm grip. Initially, Bi-Han braced himself for a sense of betrayal, believing that you had concealed Shang Tsung’s identity as your father. However, upon reflection, he realized that you had always been forthcoming with him, never hiding the truth about your father. Bi-Han had simply never asked. Your genuine reaction to the unfolding events affirmed your honesty. It became evident that Shang Tsung had dragged you into this situation without explanation. All that mattered now was escaping with you safely by his side.
‘’You seem quite invested in these men, (Y/n),’’ Shao remarked in a harsh tone, his words more of a probing question than a mere observation.
‘’It’s none of your concern, General Shao.’’ You retorted firmly.
‘‘But it is my concern,’’ interjected Shang Tsung, his tone authoritative. ‘‘As your father, I demand to know the nature of your association with the infamous grandmaster of the Lin Kuei.’’
‘’Before you question me, father, perhaps you should first explain your activities over the past months. Then, and only then, will I consider divulging any information.’’ you countered. ‘’You dragged me here without giving me an explanation, expecting blind trust. It’s not fair, and you know it. You’re exploiting my kindness, I deserve some answers.’’
‘’I was promised my true potential, and I’m going to get that right back. You’re my blood and flesh, I want nothing more than to secure you a good and wealthy future, I want what is best for you—for us.’’ Shang Tsung continued to talk as he walked towards a dark-colored box that looked like some kind of chest. ‘’Take a look around, do you remember what I told you about this place?’’
You watched him with hesitant eyes, then looked around you before answering his question.
‘‘Yes, you said that Emperor Ying’s Dragon Army was here.’’
‘‘Very true. What I told you was not just a fairy tale. These statues were constructed and enchanted by the great mages in the Emperor’s court.’’ Shang Tsung opened the lids of the box, took out a crown and a small green bottle, and emptied the contents of the bottle onto the crown. ‘‘They are animated by the fragments of souls. Once alive they fight tirelessly, unburdened by remorse or pity.’’
‘’What are you planning to do with these?’’ You said, your voice overflowing with obvious concern now.
‘’If they won’t be on our side,’’ Shang Tsung murmured with a half-smile, placing the crown on his head. ‘‘Then I will eliminate them. This is what I had to do, for our future.’’
The moment he finished his words, six of the soldiers standing a little further away stepped forward, and with mind control, moving nimbly despite being made of stone, they began to descend the steps towards them. Bi-Han’s muscles tensed involuntarily, his body as taut as a drawn bowstring as he observed the approaching stone soldiers. If only he could get rid of these damn handcuffs…
‘’No!” Your panicked scream echoed through the vast area as you summoned your magic, green energy crackling around your outstretched hand in an attempt to halt the advancing soldiers. When you realized your magic was ineffective against them, your attention swiftly shifted back to your father.
“Father, stop this!” Startled by your sudden movement and desperate cry, Shang turned his attention to you, momentarily caught off guard. Seizing the opportunity, you darted forward, delivering a powerful blow to his knee, causing him to buckle and kneel before you. With him immobilized for a moment, you snatched the crown from his head and placed it on your own. ‘‘I’m sorry, father, but I cannot allow this.’’
‘’Have you lost your mind?!’’ While Shang Tsung was looking at you with stunned and greatly betrayed eyes, despite the distance, Bi-Han could see tears welling in your eyes. ‘’I am your father! My blood runs through your veins; your loyalty should lie with me.’’
‘‘I know, and I am sorry,’’ you said, your voice trembling with emotion. ‘’But I love him.’’ Both Shang Tsung and Bi-Han froze with surprise at your unexpected reveal, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief. Your breath came out quickly, the air heavy with tension as a few tears escaped from your eyes, glimmering in the light. ‘’That’s why I cannot stand by and watch you harm him.’’
“(Y/n), behind you!” Kuai Liang’s urgent shout jolted you into action, narrowly dodging Shao’s axe at the last moment. With Shao bearing down on you, Bi-Han could no longer stand idly by. Keeping you in his sight, he and his brother sprang into action, combating Shao’s soldiers amidst the chaos, using the handcuff chains to choke one of the soldiers.
Despite your efforts to evade Shao’s attacks and deflect them onto the stone statues, he effortlessly dispatched them with a few swings of his axe. You tried to keep up with him, but as a healer, your combat skills were lacking, evident in your reliance on the soldiers for protection as you dodged Shao’s attacks. Bi-Han had heard stories about Shao in the past, tales of his power and mercilessness in battle. But now, witnessing Shao’s sadistic enjoyment as he toyed with you, seeing the fear in your eyes, filled Bi-Han with fury and a desire to eliminate Shao.
‘‘Don’t harm her!’’ Shang Tsung intervened, hurling a fireball towards Shao, catching him off guard and forcing him back. “She is my daughter.”
Shao spat on the ground, unaffected by the smoke left behind by the fireball he countered with the tip of his huge axe. “And she betrayed us,” he growled. “You just proclaimed that we would eliminate those who oppose us, sorcerer. That’s precisely what I intend to do.”
As Shao swung his axe again, you pushed the last remaining statue in front of you for protection. However, under the force of Shao’s blow, the statue shattered, leaving a gaping wound from your shoulder to your rib cage. Crimson red blood splattered everywhere, your expression a mixture of pain and shock as you desperately tried to stay on your trembling legs. A pained groan escaped your lips as you stumbled backwards, Shao raising his axe for another strike, this time aiming for a fatal blow.
“No!” While Bi-Han was blowing off the soldier’s head he had knocked down with his foot, bloody brain pieces flew everywhere, his heart was in his mouth. He couldn’t bear to witness you lose your life before his eyes, with so little distance between you.
‘’I told you to stay away from my daughter.’’
In a stroke of luck, Shang Tsung once again caught Shao off guard with a barrage of fireballs, diverting his attention away from you at the last moment. Shao was thrown several meters away, gasping for breath, while Shang grasped you firmly, applying pressure to your wound. Your body tensed with pain, tears flowing freely from your eyes as you struggled to maintain a brave face.
‘’You will bandage this as soon as you get away from here. Do you understand?’’
‘‘Father-’’
‘’Do you understand?’’
‘’Yes.’’
‘‘Good, I’ll buy you time,’’ Shang Tsung urged, motioning for you to leave. ‘‘Take a few of the statues with you; they’ll provide protection until you’re out of here. I’ll find you once I’ve dealt with this.’’
With tears streaming down your cheeks, you managed to press a small, wet kiss to your father’s cheek, gratitude evident in your pale, tired face.
‘‘I’ll explain everything.’’
‘‘Later. Go now,’’ he insisted.
Bi-Han brutally incapacitated the last soldier before reaching you in a few wide strides. Shang’s gaze fixed on him for the first time since his arrival, promising death with its intensity.
“You’d better take care of my daughter, grandmaster. Otherwise, I’ll follow your soul to the Netherrealm,’’ warned Shang Tsung with a menacing tone.
‘‘I will protect her with my life.’’ Bi-Han asserted, though his agreement with his recent foe felt tenuous, the situation now imbued with personal stakes. Shang promptly removed the handcuffs from both him and his brother’s wrists, freeing them.
‘‘Go on quickly. The others will be here soon, so hurry up. My daughter will take you a shortcut.’’ directed sorcerer.
As Shao charged toward them, Bi-Han scooped you up into his arms, finding relief in having you close again. With urgency, he ran alongside Kuai Liang, ascending the steps and leaving the area behind. With your remaining strength, you compelled a dozen soldiers to follow, your hand still applying pressure to the wound. Upon reaching the corridor they had passed earlier, you weakly tugged at Bi-Han’s clothes to get his attention.
‘‘We can’t escape through the main exit, it’s too risky. There’s a passageway from behind the fortress leading towards the mountains; we can slip through unnoticed.’’ you suggested.
‘‘Tomas is out, we can’t leave him here.’’ His brother interjected.
‘‘Exactly where, I can use one of these statues to find and contact him.’’
‘‘He is where the Soul Stealers are.’’
With a deep breath, you closed your eyes and concentrated, sweat beading on your forehead as your skin paled. Despite the obvious pain, you maintained a resolute expression. As they reached a narrow area, your faint voice reached their ears.
‘‘I found Tomas. I’m getting him out through a different exit; it’s too risky for him to come this way.’’
‘‘Okay, we’re counting on you,’’ Bi-Han said, hoping to give you courage. You were so small and lifeless in his arms, though he couldn’t bring himself to say it, his heart ached with painful sorrow as he looked at you. If it weren’t for the faint rise and fall of your chest, he might have feared the worst; you were losing a lot of blood. The wound must have cut deeper than he thought. Bi-Han looked into his brother’s eyes, whatever expression there was on his face, Kuai Liang stopped walking for a moment and squeezed his shoulder, looking at him with understanding eyes.
‘‘We will save her, brother, don’t worry. She’ll be okay,’’ Kuai Liang reassured, and they proceeded to a small room at the end of the corridor. A statue opened the thick old door, revealing a landscape of snow-covered mountains.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
It was already dark when they met Tomas a little beyond the fortress, at the bottom of a frozen river. After you spent the rest of your strength to bring Tomas to them, you fell unconscious, Bi-Han had to hastily bandaged you because he knew he had to keep a distance between them and the fortress in case of getting caught. And when they decided to spend the night in a place that he believed was safe, he didn’t let you leave his side for a moment, even though he was with his brothers and they were safe for now. Tomas had left a short while ago to hunt some mountain hares for food, while Kuai Liang went out to gather supplies to sustain the fire he had kindled.
Bi-Han carefully cleaned the wound with the materials he had and bandaged it tightly. Your bleeding was still going on, but it wasn’t intense compared to the beginning, as long as you weren’t moving, it could buy time until he could get you home. But you would definitely have needed stitches in your wound.
‘’I can heal myself.’’ you muttered softly. Bi-Han didn’t even realize he had said the last part aloud, too focused on gently stroking your pale cheek with one hand while carefully examining you.
‘’How do you feel?’’
‘’Not at my best, but I’ll be fine.’’ You weakly replied. Even if you wanted to reciprocate the gesture by lifting your hand, which was resting on your lap, it was quite difficult for you to do so. Bi-Han noticed this, grabbed your hand, and guided it to his cheek, allowing you to caress it. ‘’Thank to gods, you look well. The others-’’
‘‘We’re all fine except you, don’t worry. You almost died.’’ The last part poured from his lips with great hatred, it felt terrible even to say it. He hated the blood on his hands even more. Seeing you in such a state filled Bi-Han with a profound sense of helplessness. He feared the worst, and it was the most intense fear he had ever experienced. Even now, it lingered in his mouth like a bad taste, causing a churning sensation in his stomach. His entire body felt ice-cold with stress, his instincts had gone into hyperawareness.
‘’It just grazed, it doesn’t even hurt. I swear.’’
"If it had cut deeper, you could have lost your arm as well as your life. It does not suit you to lie, (y/n). I still don't understand how you could be Shang Tsung's daughter."
‘’Are you angry?’’ As your voice quivered with uncertainty, Bi-Han tenderly placed a kiss on the top of your head, offering silent reassurance before you found the courage to speak again. ‘’It’s just… My father is a difficult man and kind of has a bad reputation. People are ready to attack him given the chance. I didn’t mean to hide it from you; I was just afraid you’d leave me once you knew the truth. I couldn’t bear the thought of losing you.”
‘’You think a sorcerer can intimidate me?” A small smile appeared on his lips as he continued to caress your cheek. After hearing your confession, he wanted nothing more than to reassure you and dismiss your fear. “I’m just confused and angry with myself for not seeing the signs earlier,” he said honestly. “I almost lost you, and besides that, nothing else matters.” While he continued to stroke your cheek with one hand, he didn’t break eye contact with you for a moment. He needed you to know that he was sincere in what he was about to say. “Today has been an important day for me to realize some things.”
Thanks to the heat emitted by the camp flame, he could easily discern your facial features. Despite the weariness evident in your eyes, there was a twinkle that betrayed your curiosity about what he had to say. Leaning in a little more, he shifted his body closer to yours, positioning you between his legs as he sat leaning against a tree. With a gentle touch, he lowered his hand from your cheek to your chin, lifting it slightly to plant a small, tender kiss on your lips.
With his cold breath mingling with your warmth, he whispered softly, “I love you.”
Caught off guard, you gazed up at him with wide, teary eyes, a breath catching in your throat. As a tear traced a soft path down your cheek, Bi-Han gently caught it with the tip of his finger, his own eyes filled with concern. Then, with the warmest and most sincere smile he had ever seen, you planted a kiss on his cheek.
‘’I’ve dreamed of this a few times, but I never thought you would express it.’’
‘‘Is that why you’re crying? If you’re hiding the truth about your shoulder causing pain-’’
‘‘I’m crying with happiness, my love. Now give me one more kiss so that I can believe in you better.’’
Bi-Han couldn’t help the smile settling on his face.
‘’As you wish.’’
You were in the kitchen making and mixing a bunch of concoction. You have been having strong cravings, and you know why.
Your head maids were looking at you confused, as you finished your food. Your hunger dying down, but now something else has been bothering you now.
You were feeling EXTREMELY horny, you hurried back to you and Bi-Han’s room. Keeping your legs shut tight. As if someone would be able to smell you ovulating.
As soon as you opened the door to your bedroom, you were greeted with a shirtless Bi-Han. Glistening at that as if he just finished training.
“Why are you trying to TORCHER ME!” You yelled frustrated and red. Bi-Han looked at you confused with a scowl.
“What are you talking about? I’ve been training with Kuai Liang for the past five hours. And now I’m changing.”
“That’s the problem! You and your glistening abs need to go! Just until I calm down.” You tried pushing him out. Which turned into a slight tussle, where he has you pinned to the bed.
“What is wrong with you woman?” He growled looking down at you.
You were definitely turned on by that, blushing harder. He noticed you moving your legs around, then it hit him.
“C-Can you p-please… Get off of me.” You spoke quietly and shyly. He only gave you a devious smirk, which always led to something dangerous.
He leaned closer to you, his finding your neck. Inhaling your scent, his nose tickling you slightly. “Now why would I do that, leaving my little vixen in this state.” He spoke in a lower tone, a deep chuckling escaping his lips.
You can feel it in your neck and body, that voice was killer. How can someone be this hot you stated to yourself.
His hands began feeling all around your body, as was kissing down your neck and collarbone. Then slowly down your chest, he bit at the soft skin.
Making you squeal a little, you know you probably like had three orgasms by now. All of a sudden you felt a breeze, Bi-Han ripped your clothes off in one pull.
Leaving you cold and exposed in only your bra and panties. Which were soaked, he pulled away looking at you like a predator ready to pounce.
His eyes went down to your wet entrance. “OFF.” He ordered you, and you knew exactly what he meant. You slowly were taking your panties, giving Bi-Han full view.
Your hands covering your face despite, having sex with him more than once. Then you jumped slightly from the cold piercing through your entrance. Soon melting, and slowly moans were coming from your voice.
He inserted a second finger, making you moan louder. Music to his ears, as he was slowly getting hard. He leaned down gripping your face, pulled you into rough kiss his tongue sliding into your mouth.
He began thrusting his fingers in and out of your pussy. Going faster, Bi-Han swallowing in your moans. You wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening it.
You were slowly reaching your peak, breaking the kiss. “B-B-Bi-Han… F-Fuck, p-please B…Bi-Han!” You cried out his name before you eventually came on his fingers.
Slowly riding out your orgasm, you can’t believe you just had your fourth orgasm from just his fingers. He pulled out, leaning back positioning himself between your legs.
He looked at you with heated eyes, licking at his fingers. Tasting every inch of you, “I never said you could cum?”
He glared at you, “I-I’m sorry Bi-h-“ *SMACK* you felt a sting on your ass, cutting you off. Making you wet again.
“You are sorry to who?” Bi-Han still looking down at you, rubbing the spot he slapped. You didn’t know his hard cock already out of his pants.
“I’m s-sorry… G-Grandmaster.” You corrected yourself quietly. You felt another sting, he had smacked your ass again. This time you moaned again.
“I almost forgot it was close to that time for you. Is this how you wanted to let your grandmaster know, you’re ready to bear my children.”
“I-“ *SMACK*
“Speak up Slut!” Bi-Han smirked, he lifted your legs over his shoulder. Pulling you closer, to feel his cock throbbing against you entrance.
“Y-Yes Grandmaster… P-Please fill me up grandmaster.” You begged in the sweetest tone, you were to out of it and in the heat of the moment. To care anymore, about anything.
“Whatever my lil slut needs.” Bi-Han didn’t waste any time and slammed his cock right inside you. Causing you to scream out.
He pulled out slowly, but not all the way. Pushed back inside harder everytime, he kissed your inner thighs. Which was sensitive, when you were aroused.
You begged him to go faster, tears falling from your eyes. Eyes rolled back in the back of your head, as he was thrusting faster and harder.
“Fuck! You feel so good Y/N. I’ll fill your little ass up, and you’ll be walking carrying my child.” Bi-Han told you in between thrusts.
You were caught off guard when he switched positions. Your back against his chest, and his arm around your throat. The position helping him go deeper, you were drooling.
“F-Fuck me Grandmaster… B-Bi-Han!… I’m s-so close.”
“You will not cum TILL I TELL YOU TO BITCH!”
You felt his hands on your bra, ripping it off and holding your breast. He then pushed you down, grabbing your hair. Pulling your head back, he started kissing your neck again.
Then leaving bite marks, you didn’t know how long you could last. Begging that he cums soon, he would not be happy if you came again.
He slapped your ass again, but a lot harder. You tightened around his cock, he grunted at the tightness. He was close to his climax, his thrust slowing down slightly.
“I want you to cum at the same time with me.”Before he thrust hard, pushing deep inside. Letting his seed explode inside you, you released right after shaking. Crying out Bi-Han’s name.
He let go of your, making you fall face first. Both riding out your orgasm, you felt his cock throbbing inside of you.
B-Bi-Han?” You tried using the little strength you had to turn around and look at your lover.
“Who said we were done?” Bi-Han smirked evilly, you gulped. Feeling his cock get hard again inside you. This man literally has unlimited stamina.
• The Next Morning •
You woke up, full of bite marks and aches. From yesterday’s events. You groaned looking at your peaceful sleeping Bi-Han.
You grabbed your pillow, smacking him awake. “I’m in pain because of you.”
You heard him chuckling as you kept hitting him with the pillows as he was trying to block them.
A/N: I hope I accomplished the request. If you are ovulating that man will try to get you pregnant at every opportunity, I was happy to be given a smut idea. I LOVE THEM!!🔥🔥
We know that Syzoth has a long tongue and eat bugs from what he said in X, can you write how reader would react when he used his long tongue to go into your mouth and starts to fish around in it? He'll just use an excuse that he saw a insect in front you to make out with you.
You lean back against Bi-Han as he spread his legs wider to accommodate your squirming body. You whine against Syzoth’s mouth as his long tongue entangles yours as he strokes the side of your face lovingly. You arch your back and lean forward into Syzoth’s delicious mouth, you laugh to yourself as you think of how only a few weeks ago Syzoth didn’t even know how to kiss and here he was delving into your mouth as if he was going after a big juicy bug. A shiver runs through your body as Bi-Han’s icy lips find your neck as he ghosts his rough lips over your soft, sensitive skin.
Syzoth nips at your lower lip as he pulls back slightly, his tongue curling back into his mouth. He takes in your flushed face and blissed-out expression as your hand cards through Bi-Han’s silken locks. “Am I getting better?” He asks, his emerald green eyes sparkling with curiosity and hope.
You gasp as Bi-Han’s sharp teeth bite into your tender neck, “oh yes Sy, you’re getting very good at this but I’m afraid I need more to really be able to judge properly.”
“Oh, well I guess that can be arranged,” the Saurian chuckles softly before he slots his lips against yours as his long tongue unfurls in your mouth and begins his quest to kiss you breathlessly. He wasn’t competitive with Bi-Han but he was a bit forlorn that he couldn’t seem to make you make the same noises the cryomancer could. He moves his tongue against yours giving it a salacious lick before curling around your tongue multiple times and sucking softly, coaxing your tongue into his warm mouth. Even with your tongue in his mouth, it didn’t mean his was done with your mouth as his forked tongue prods and pokes every crevice of your hot orifice.
You whimper and outright moan into his mouth which pulls a happy chirping noise from the Saurian. He sucks your tongue more fervently pulling more beautiful noises from you as he does. Moments pass before he finally pulls back leaving you breathless and panting, his cheeks tinged with a dusky greenish color as he’s left in the same state he left you.
“Good boy,” Bi-Han praises running his hand through Syzoth’s short hair before pressing his icy lips to the Saurian’s.
You lean into Bi-Han’s cold body, his erection pressing against your lower back as he had clearly enjoyed the show between you and your shared lover as it’s now your turn to enjoy the carnal display.
