Family and familial relationships are such a big part of Mandalorian culture and society and to be ostracized like that when she was so young must’ve been horribly traumatizing.

Once you notice that the Empire's (and by extension the Republic's) military capabilities are modeled roughly after irl 1970s advancement you can't unsee it. Super embarrassing for the Separatists (90s/00s equivalent technology) to do so badly against an enemy whose honest to god go-to for air-to-air combat is dogfights 💀

#i think i've seen republic/rebel star fighters *equipped* with missiles but i've never seen any of them used??#meanwhile the seppies DO regularly deploy missiles and drones/droids #they technically had the capabilities to just take out any republic pilot before they could even notice the danger lmao #rip to any brave x-wing crew facing an aimbot missile-toting vulture droid that couldn't care less about g forces #<- is what i would say if the whole separatist movement didn't come with a big fat 3 year planned obsolescence countdown

Finally got a copy of the book that got me into gt as a kid. It's been really fun to reread it again! The faeries in this are so interesting.

But I mainly remembered this one #I went crazy trying to look up what this book was called tho bc I only recalled the fairy on the cover & some vague things about the plot #but I finally got it! Its got some great gt moments that kinda make me wonder if the author was part of the community 🤔
