If you know me, then you should know that I love Rocky 1. I felt compelled to get this magazine.

I could say I like this movie because I know Philadelphia well. Or it could be that Rocky runs up the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum, a sacred place to me.

I might say that I'm a romantic and love Rocky and Adrian.

I may tell you that the dialogue makes me cry and laugh.

Or maybe it's when he wins and is yelling for Adrian, I cry every time.

But the truth is that it's just a great movie. It's that simple and that deep.

It's all of the above and more.

Fantastic coming of age with a tight script that doesn't waste a second. Also, the budget looked bigger than it was probably. Lighting was good. Loved the ending.

got rid of an old cat tree like a year ago and it was a mistake because apparently, this tree was my cat’s favourite tree. in the history of all the trees she’s ever had, this was THE ONE she cared about. she has never mourned the departure of any other trees over the last decade and a half of her life. she has had two BRAND NEW ones since and she barely interacts with even a single scratch post on them, only climbing one out of Pure Obligation because i place her food there. the only reason the tree had to go was because 1: at the time, the manufacturer wouldn’t ship parts to my country and 2: it was lookin real rough. so yeah. guess who’s fucking repurchasing this same goddamned tree

Watcher fans sure are entitled and a little insane, ngl. "No one is going to sign up for your service! We're all poor! You've made the worst decision, and you'll be back in no time!" Saying this directly to the creators really reminds you of how low the respect for people you don't personally know has gone. I miss the forth wall between creator and audience.

I get and fully understand not having the money to support them, but... Watcher does have fans with money. A lot of them actually. They have merch sales. Their live tour sells out most venues. They have thousands of supporters on Patreon, where the cheapest tier is $5. They're able to gauge the rough finances of their staunchest supporters; that's how they landed on the subscription price. Yes, this move will reduce their viewership in sheer numbers, but to say all of their fans are broke and none will follow/support is factually incorrect.

It may not be a decision everyone agrees with, but severing the limitations of advertisers and youtube in favor of artistic freedom is a good thing. Yes, even if it comes with a loss of revenue. They understand that risk.

Also, I'm begging people to stop treating this like "another Netflix" or something and instead look at it as, "I am supporting a creator I like, similar to Patreon." They literally said in the video that they don't care if you share accounts. Get five friends, and you'll pay $1/mo.

I hate feeling compelled to rant in favor of their decision because I have my own reservations about whether it's the best move. However, I know it's not a choice they made lightly, and I like to think they understand that they'll need to branch out like crazy to entice subscribers.

Tbh after seeing the dnp craft video I’m not surprised that they didn’t make an Easter baking one… I feel like if they don’t care about Easter (likely) they wouldn’t want to make a baking video but, they seemed really into this craft one.

This might be a controversial opinion, but I think dnp crafts slime might be one of their most authentic videos in a while. (Not saying the others aren’t authentic) For a few reasons, it just gives that 2011 we want to create our own thing inspired by stuff we like. Like “Dan and Phil get down” or old Phil videos. The idea in these means more than the actual execution. Not to say the execution of this craft video isn’t good, but it’s not trying to be extremely refined like a lot of what we see on YouTube now. It’s just having fun and making a horror video to share. It feels so old school YouTube!

I do! ^^ Though admittedly my practice has been a little bit dormant as of late because I sort of fell out of habit after An Event which was a Bit Disruptive to My Life lol. But I guess I kind of dabble in a bit of everything? I dunno if I could pin myself down to just one kind of practice yet, I still sort of consider myself a Baby Witch. But I really like making little spelljars and casting candle spells and things of the like, and I've been trying to learn tarot for a while now! I also really like making and drawing sigils... For a while part of the joy for me has been just Learning New Things.

this one is QUITE corroded on the inside but I'll still give it a clean and see where it gets me. I haven't tried to take one of these apart but it almost looks like the battery compartment might be easier to break down than the standard models... I have a couple of other dogs I need to try to get working once I'm back from vacation and can focus on pet (🥁) projects again, so for now this one goes with them on the convalescing shelf 😌
