Daily Scripture Text: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." - Psalm 23:1-3

Commentary: Psalm 23 is a timeless reminder of God's tender care and provision for His people. In these verses, we see God depicted as a loving shepherd who guides, protects, and sustains us. The imagery of green pastures and still waters conveys a sense of peace and contentment that comes from resting in God's presence. When I see a blue sky like this I know I’m near the mountains ... once a year we take our tribe to the mountains of Lake City for some bonding family time and unwinding from life ... it re-centers everyone ... for me I see all of the beauty around me even in the chaos of life ... even in the chaos I find contentment that makes me happy ... this is life and it’s the life @lonestartactical and I have created for our tribe ... you have to sing your tribe and love them hard ... it won’t always be easy but it will always be worth it. When I see a picture like this in front of me I am yet again reminded that we are not here in this crazy world alone - we don’t have to fight our battles alone. And sometimes when the battle becomes too much for us to fight we give up and we go away for a retreat of breathing, refocusing, re-centering ... it gets our soul back to the place that it needs to be.
