raven doesn't know and qrow's not giving that information away easily, but he knows that tai's on an assignment. did they move the relic / the vault after summer's disappearance as a precaution? sure, they assumed her dead, but one can never be too sure; she could have been captured, tortured for information, etc.

been reading a good chunk of dp fic lately, and was wondering if Unova might have certain otherwise-benign phrases it's a taboo (or faux pas, at least) to use when the dragons are active, ala how “I Wish…” is treated in Amity Park. or, *alternatively*, should only be used in serious, important matters (“It is my Ideal that Mother will survive her cancer” “It is my Truth that I will fight for my child to live in a world that respects xeir Identity”, etc)

for the former, perhaps considering it a rude or presumptuous burden to saddle The Good Of Truth Itself with a mortal’s minor inconvenience, or worse, in the other direction, risking having the god Itself hear your declaration and come down from the skies in a flaming meteor of screaming civilians and feathers to get, idk, your quarterly business profits to go up an extra 0.1% or whatever.

tourists and immigrants might get side-eyed a lot if they come from like, Galar (if you prefer them both having the same language ala the US and UK), or learn the language through a book or app developed by someone that's not Unovan translating a common phrase normal anywhere else that doesn't have to deal with said dragons actually living there.

on the other hand, now I'm thinking about the latter option and if swearing to The Dragons would likely be incorporated into ceremonies like weddings, or only really in the legal (and possibly business) world. for the happy couple to pronounce Their Shared Ideals and a priest to Confirm the Truth of their joining. or for there to be a lot of symbolism in engagement/wedding band colors. (technically blank and white aren't colors but shh)

ooh! a band with half of a coupling shape on it instead of (or carved from) a gem, and in the ceremony your partner slides the opposite on, which latches into the curvature and locks the black and white into place together… 👀👀👀👀 (of a similar note, to keep both dragons equal in importance, when engaged you wear a white band on one hand and the black on the other, then in the ceremony the couple (or the priest) slide the Truth Band from each person into the Ideal Band on their betrothed.

Little guy!!! Littlest dude!! Best mouse in the world. They’re so scared of the dark and nervous about messing things up but they do their best!! They go through the dark tunnel to meet you and deliver an important message!! And while they may have gotten lost on the way back, you’re able to help and together you escape! (Also canonically they sent a birthday card like months too late and also got lost going from the donut shop to their house which is like two blocks) luv them my favorite little guy <3

Sha Sheng Shi

He is a demon. He has a sword made of stone and during the movie he rides on the sword like on a skateboard and he creates fire/ magma underneath the blade. he is pretty cool. sha sheng shi is a demon, but not an evil demon. he fell in love with a human woman, but she died. she loved to play the pipa (chinese instrument) and sha sheng shi goes into the human world when she is dead to steal a pipa. it reminds him of his love and he just wants to hear the sound of the instrument. really sad :/ a demon hunter found him and tries to kill him but he is saved by another human. this human is so friendly towards sha sheng shi that he stayed with him from then on. as his friend. he offers his help to the human, which is needed during the movie, when they have to fight a truly evil demon. sha sheng shi almost dies, but only almost. the fight against this evil demon is amazing, sha sheng shi truly has some sick moves. with the stone sword. and the fire/ magma he can call. i love his sad past and how cool he is while fighting. and how he sticks with the human who saved him from the demon hunter.

What really mattered to Yang Haoran, now that he thought about it, was that the drink was blue. Maybe not artificial dye, but likely the color was strong enough to stain. Yang Haoran’s luck wasn’t strong enough to ensure that it wouldn’t. He would end up looking like a small child that had gleefully gone about gorging himself on a box of cheap popsicles – lips, teeth, tongue, all blue. Entirely undignified. Not good for his refined young master reputation that he never bothered taking care of anyway.

This will ruffle some feathers but I'm certain that writing out: Adam, Sun, Ilia, Sienna, and the White Fang was all so they could stop caring about racism and make bumblebee a thing. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Think about it. If even just ONE of them made it actively past volume 6 then Blake would actually have something to do instead of just standing around being Yang's arm candy. Adam was the closest. He could've made his way to Atlas and stir up shit there but nooo he had to die for bees.

There’s no way to know for sure the writers’ exact intentions with using Adam’s death as a way to bring Blake and Yang closer together (without explicitly confirming them for idk queerbait reasons).

That said, we know they wanted to drop the WF plot. They’d dig themselves into a hole and knew it. While correlation is not causation, that desire to wash their hands of the mess they made informs Adam’s change in characterization and Blake’s as well. How considerate that Adam went and killed Sienna to save Blake the trouble, that Ilia and Sun offscreen themselves, and that Ghira takes over the WF again, meaning that Blake is absolved of all need to consider Faunus discrimination on a broad scale /s.
