000.
“I just can’t find any coffee shops that make good matcha lattes here” Sangyeon heard coming from the hallway. He had just come home from a long day of work when he heard the unfamiliar voice speak. His interest had suddenly peaked at the prospect of a new neighbor since his previous one left about two months ago which left the third floor of the building relatively quiet. He began rounding the corner when his eyes where the voice had come from.
You just moved into the older apartment complex after your job transferred you to the newest branch where you now have the role of lead executive manager. Finding your way around the big new city was easy, however finding a coffee shop that makes a matcha latte just how you liked it… Difficult. Your search for a good coffee shop began as soon as you landed. Coffee shop-hopping, that’s what your best friend on the phone said when you told her your troubles.
Making eye contact with your new neighbor, you whispered to your best friend who was on the other line about calling her back later.
“Hey” Sangyeon waved
“Oh hey! I’m your new neighbor I guess” You waved back
“I’m Sangyeon! Welcome to the neighborhood!”
“Y/n, thanks”
That was it, that was the only interaction Sangyeon had with you. Oddly enough this short interaction fueled his desire to make you his best matcha latte… Erm, well after he learned how to make them.
001.
“Wait, so there's two grades of matcha?” He thought out loud, there are two grades of matcha, ceremonial grade matcha and culinary grade matcha.
“Ceremonial grade matcha is used in Japanese tea ceremonies and culinary grade matcha is used for coffee and baking” Sangyeon jotted down in his notebook. The poor boy had 10 different tabs opened on his laptop.
“Alright, so next step is to buy some matcha”
The next following days Sangyeon spent researching the best tea houses to visit and inquired about their matcha tea powders. After hours of research, Sangyeon settled on ‘Lucid Dream Tea House’  , the city's most highly rated tea house. Upon arrival, he noticed the delicately decorated interior. High ceilings with floor to ceiling windows, brick walls, dainty fairy lights and wooden countertops with mismatched wooden stools.
“Hi, welcome to Lucid Dream Tea House! How can I help you?” The kind barista greeted him.
“Hey, thanks! I was actually looking for some matcha powder, do you sell that here?”
“We do indeed, would you want to try some?”
Sangyeon nodded as the barista walked over to the bar and prepared a matcha flight. The barista began by soaking the matcha whisk while sifting some matcha powder into 3 different cups. The barista then poured a small amount of hot water into each cup before one by one whisking.
“Alrighty, so the first cup here is called the Matcha Sunrise which has a base of our culinary grade matcha from Shizuoka prefecture with milk and a fresh mango puree” The barista explained while handing the cup over to Sangyeon. The latte has a slight bitterness from the matcha that is cut with the tartness of the mango puree.
“Next, we have just our classic Matcha Latte sweetened with a simple syrup infused with vanilla bean from Madagascar” The barista explained, the latte was a perfect balance of sweet and bitter. Sangyeon nodded, pointing out the unique flavor of the vanilla bean.
“These are delicious! Before I get to the last one, I would love to buy some matcha powder to make some lattes at home”
“That’s really great to hear! I’ll make sure to send you home with our signature matcha powder” The barista smiled.
“Okay, our last and final latte is a bit of an experiment for us I would admit, so it doesn’t quite have a name yet. This latte is again our signature matcha powder with milk and a sweetened black sesame paste” The latte was delicious and had a slight nutty flavor from the sesame paste.
Sangyeon sat at the bar contemplating which latte he wanted to recreate and after some deep thought, he decided to start with the classic latte. It required very minimal ingredients and was rather simple. Once he mastered that, he could move onto more complex drinks. Meanwhile the barista went to wash the cups and retrieve a can of matcha powder for Sangyeon to purchase.
After the barista returned with the matcha, Sangyeon stood up to follow the barista to the register. “Have you decided which latte you’d like to recreate?” The barista gently questioned.
“Yes, I actually have! I want to start with something simple, so the classic matcha latte you made seemed perfect!”
“Oh wonderful! Just a quick tip though, as you are just starting out, you don’t actually need to buy madagascar vanilla. It’s actually quite expensive, so just a simple vanilla extract from the supermarket will do the trick”
“Thank you” Sangyeon bowed as he finished paying.
002.
“Okay so, first step is to soak the matcha whisk in hot water, done. Next heat up some milk in the milk frother, done” Sangyeon spoke to himself while he prepared the vanilla infused simple syrup. Taking the barista's advice, he went for the cheaper vanilla extract. The simple syrup was just equal parts water to sugar with a splash of vanilla.
“Now we take out the whisk and sift some matcha into a bowl” He began taking a mini scoop of the matcha and delicately sifted it into a small bowl and poured some hot water over and began whisking.
“Last step, pour the frothy milk into a cup with a bit of simple syrup and then pour the matcha on top”
Before rewarding himself with his hard work, Sangyeon began cleaning his work station. Cleaning up his little mess from the milk splatters on the counter top and a mini matcha explosion from accidently sneezing when he sniffed the matcha.
“Let’s hope this tastes good” Sangyeon said to himself before going in to take a sip. His face contorted, bitter. Too bitter.
003.
“The cup I made last time was way too bitter,” Sangyeon noted as he began researching on his laptop. Apparently the bitterness was due to the water being too hot, the matcha was required to be heated at a certain temperature.
Taking what he learned from many failed attempts, he went back to the kitchen to heat up some milk in the frother once again before lowering the temperature for the boiled water. This time, he made sure not to sneeze again because this matcha powder isn’t cheap…
Using the leftover vanilla simple syrup, he mixed the matcha and gave it a quick taste….
004.
While practicing his matcha latte making skills, Sangyeon made an effort to pay attention to when you left for the office every morning. 7:30 am, that was the time you always left which meant he would have to wake up at least an hour before to prepare everything. Honestly waking up at 6:30 wasn’t too bad considering he used to wake up earlier for his previous job. Now that he worked a less strenuous job that didn’t require him to be at the office until 10 am meant he had ample time.
The next morning, Sangyeon woke up 15 minutes before his alarm that was set at 6:30. He was so excited to surprise you that he rushed to get ready. Once he entered his kitchen, he began laying out his tools. Milk frother, matcha whisk, sifter, cups, milk, matcha powder and the second batch of vanilla simple syrup he made the night before.
Pouring the milk into the frother and soaking the matcha whisk, Sangyeon began placing a small heaping scoop of matcha and sifted the matcha into the small cup below. He poured over some hot water and took the whisk from the water and started to gently whisk while the milk was heating up. After the matcha was slightly foamy, he poured a bit of the simple syrup into another tall glass cup before pouring in the frothed milk. He then took the matcha he whisked and poured it over the milk with the back of a spoon to not splash the matcha.
Sangyeon checked the time “7:15” it read, meaning he had 15 minutes before you left to drop the latte off at your door. Quickly, he jotted down a short note on the back of an old receipt and headed to your door. Calming down his breathing, he placed the drink onto your door mat leaving the note next to it and knocked on your door. He sprinted back to his apartment, watching through the peephole he saw your face light up with a smile. Seeing your eyes light up taking a sip made him smile.
005.
“I’m telling you! Someone in my building keeps dropping off these amazing matcha lattes for me! I don’t know who it is” You spoke on the phone, you had just left the apartment complex before hopping onto the train with said latte in hand. The note attached to the latte read “Hope you’ve been enjoying these lattes! They’re so matcha fun to make” You smiled, shoving the note into your pocket.
From the other side of the door sat Sangyeon on the floor giddy with excitement. Now that he knows you’re enjoying his lattes, the next step was to upgrade the notes. He had been scribbling notes onto old receipts and he knew that you deserved better. Sangyeon turned to get ready and headed out to the nearest stationary store. There, he picked up some memo pads and nice pens. He picked up a variety pack of fruit memo pads and a pack of nice gel pens.
The next morning, Sangyeon woke up a little later than usual, 6:45 am which meant he only had half an hour to prepare everything. Sangyeon quickly got ready and rushed into the kitchen to soak the matcha whisk while heating up some water. Surprisingly, everything went well considering the limited time. As soon as he finished garnishing the latte with some matcha powder, he took a memo sheet from the stack he bought yesterday and jotted down a quick note.
“Have a great day ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ ” the note read, however little did he know, you were behind the door leaving a few minutes early. Your boss had to call out suddenly which left you with more work than you could manage. As soon as you opened your door, you were met with Sangyeon. His eyes slowly widened as he realized the situation.
He abruptly shoved the latte (with a lid of course) into your hand and quickly turned around with the note dropping from his hands. He was caught. Sangyeon was surprised when you knocked on his door with a sheepish smile.
“H-hey neighbor” You began holding tightly onto the cup so as to not drop it from nervousness.
“Hi, I’m sorry if you thought someone else was making you lattes” Sangyeon sighed, not looking into your eyes.
“Oh, no, these are delicious! I was wondering who made these, so I’m really glad I found out it was you”
“Really? I’m glad you like them! I can always stop if you want, I didn’t want to overstep your boundaries”
You smiled, your neighbor was this shy, incredibly talented and handsome man, yet he was quite modest which made him all the more adorable. You stood there smiling at him, but it was your turn to be shocked as the time passed.
“Shoot, I’m so sorry, I really need to leave now. Gosh, work got really busy. Will I see you later?” You hurriedly sputtered out as you headed towards the stairs, turning to hear his response.
“Yeah, no worries! Get to work safely”
006.
It slowly became a tradition that Sangyeon would make you a custom matcha latte every morning adorned with latte art and a sprinkle of matcha. You woke up every morning expecting cute latte art and honestly, you were never disappointed. The notes slowly became sweeter until one day the words scribbled shocked you.
“Meet me at Lucid Dream Tea House tonight at 6, I want to ask you something” the note read, your heart began beating outside of your chest. Did your neighbor just as you out? Unfortunately for you, work came first, so you sat through a long meeting… Which could have been an email that dragged on longer than expected. However, luckily for you, the tea house was just a block down from your office.
Once you arrived, your eyes met. It was Sangyeon, he sat at the table near the large windows with what looks like another latte? He looked handsome with his hair slicked back, he was dressed casually in a sweatshirt and jeans. It was a simple look, but something about it made your heart tingle. Maybe it was the specs or the hair? Or maybe it was him.
“You’re here” Sangyeon beamed, his smile was gorgeous, almost as gorgeous as his face.
“I am, thank you for inviting me”
“It’s no problem, I actually brought you here so I could as you something”
“S-sure” You shifted uncomfortably in your chair, the worry in your eyes evident as your lips pressed into a thin line.
“Well, now that you know it was me making you these lattes” he gestures to the latte in your hand
“I– I uh, well, I was uh” Sangyeon struggled to get a coherent sentence out as he cleared his throat.
“Wou– would you like to go out sometime?”
“M– me?” You pointed to yourself, the shock was evident in your face as you sat back in your seat.
“You seem shocked, did I say something wrong? I didn’t make you uncomfortable, did I?”
“No, not at all! You just took me off guard, I wasn’t expecting you to return the feelings. That’s all”
It was his turn to be shocked, it completely shook his world that his neighbor, the one he’s been making lattes for actually returned his feelings? The endless trips to various tea houses, the hours of research and many failed lattes made it all worth it. You were worth it.
“We’re the perfect matcha, don’t you think?” You giggled at your own pun.
“Absolutely” Sangyeon smiled, he reached across the table to take your hand in his.

Marble World and Candy Resist (Sagrada Reset 4) - Chapter 2
[INDEX]
(The moment the maple syrup spills from this tiny white porcelain pot into my hot pancakes decorated with whipped cream is the climax of it. The part where I pass my fork and knife through the pancakes and bring them to my mouth is more like an epilogue.)
Asai Kei, Haruki Misora, and the girl in the marble were in the terrace seat of a café a 5-minute walk away from Ashiharabashi High. It was a modest white table by the street, with just a dark green parasol above and chairs below. Kei felt like going indoors would be a waste of this pleasantly warm sunny day.
The girl stared at Kei from inside the marble placed at the center of the table. Kei, in front of a plate of American pancakes soaked in maple syrup with a fork and knife in hands, talked to the marble.
"Sorry that we can't offer you any."
The girl in the marble nervously nodded.
"Oh, it's ok. Don't mind me. I got this."
She produced a candy on a stick from a pocket of her uniform.
"A Chupa Chups lollipop. Strawberry flavor.", she said in a forcedly encouraging tone before removing the wrapper.
"Are you a fan of Chupa Chups?"
"Yeah, I... liked... sweets for the longest time."
The marble's interior projected the upside-down image of the girl enjoying the strawberry Chupa Chups in her mouth. Kei felt a sense of wonder in what he was seeing. A fantasy that fits inside the palm of his hand.
Back to his meal, Kei cut off a piece of the pancake with his knife. On the other side of the table, Haruki winded the strings of meat sauce spaghetti on her fork. The girl in the marble stared at Kei while licking her lollipop. Being watched made it awkward to move his fork.
"Is there anything wrong?"
The question made her shoulders tremble. Then she timidly started talking.
"Is it really acceptable... for a high schooler to... enter a café instead of going home?"
"Good question. I can't imagine the school regulations approving of it."
"You think so too?"
"But that shouldn't be a problem now since this is technically Service Club activity."
"Huh? Is that how it works?"
"It is. Haruki and I were also in the Service Club in middle school, so we're pretty clear on how these details of the rules go."
When working in a Service Club, most things get processed as a club activity. No one would scold them for entering restaurants and, with receipts, they can even get the fees expensed.
"Ok."
She sighed with relief.
Kei also got his share of relief and brought his pancake to his mouth. While chewing, he put down his cutlery and turned his eyes to the pile of paper Tsushima dropped on him.
It was a printed file with data presumably from the Bureau. It contained a brief profile of the girl stuck in the marble and a pretty detailed description of her ability.
Sera Sawako, age 15. First-year student at Ashiharabashi High starting today. But absent from the entrance ceremony.
"How did she enter the marble?", said Haruki after wiping the meat sauce from her face with a napkin.
"Because that's what her ability does."
Sera Sawako used her ability two times in the past. Roughly once every two years. The file compiled all the information discovered in these two instances.
Kei read the text out loud.
Sera has the ability to enter the landscapes reflected in mirrors and glass shards. It'd be more accurate to say she's in the image reflected in the marble than inside the marble proper. But when this happens, only Sera's mind enters the mirror world, and her body is left asleep. Her spiritless body collapsed in front of the school gate and was carried to the infirmary.
"Does everything check out?", Kei asked.
The upside-down image of Sera inside the marble nodded, with the white stick of her lollipop still protruding out of her mouth.
"Yes, maybe."
"Maybe?"
"This feels so out there to me."
"I see."
Tsushima's file also contained what he suspected to be the cause.
Sera Sawako cannot actively use her ability. She can't voluntarily trigger it, nor can she switch it off. Since the entire process is subconscious, the user struggles to accept that she used her ability.
"Should I Reset?", Haruki asked.
Her ability was called Reset. It was an extremely powerful ability that replicated a moment of the past—in plain terms, simulating a time rewind.
But her ability had a few restrictions.
For example, Haruki can't Reset unless she has a Save. A Reset leaves her unable to Save again for 24 hours. A Save loses effect after 72 hours, etc.
But the biggest issue is that Resetting also rewinds the user—Haruki's own memories—to a past state. She can't remember that she used her ability. Without pre-Reset memories, her ability is worthless. Rewinding time doesn't matter if you're just repeating the same actions.
Kei's ability is necessary to solve this problem. Kei's ability is to accurately remember the past. Absolute retention of memory. Kei is the only one who can remember pre-Reset events after a Reset.
"We did get an order to Reset. I'll ask you to do it soon enough.", Kei answered, spreading a forkful of whipped cream on his pancake.
Tsushima, or rather, the Bureau instructed them to Reset, return to the past, and warn Sera of the problem before it happened. Following their instructions to the letter would be easy. They could have finished the task before going for pancakes.
"But seems like there's still more that we can do."
"What would that be?"
"First off, talk to Sera."
Sera in the marble looked at Kei.
"To me?"
"Yes, there's something I want you to tell us."
Sakurada's abilities don't activate unless the user wishes for it. It's positive that Sera Sawako wanted to use her ability at some point. She wanted to enter the marble, even if unconsciously. That was something he wanted clarified before Resetting.
"Why did you use your ability?", Kei asked the marble on the table.
The upside-down Sera Sawako lowered her gaze to the sky.
"Sorry. I don't know. When it hit me, I was already like this."
(The ability's trigger subconscious. I already knew that.)
"Could you remember everything that happened, in order?"
"Starting from when?"
"Let's see. How about from waking up today?"
She grabbed the white stick and pulled the Chupa Chups out of her mouth.
"Hm, uh. If I recall right, I woke up around... 5:30?"
"That's pretty early."
That surprised him.
"I've always been like this. I'm the kind who wakes up early for school trips or sports days and gets too sleep-deprived to properly enjoy the big event."
"And today it was because of the entrance ceremony?"
"Yes, maybe."
"Then what did you do after waking up at 5:30?"
"The usual. Getting dressed, eating breakfast—Oh, should I say what I had?"
"I don't see why not."
Kei's questions cycled through all of Sera's morning actions.
She left home with ample time to make it to the entrance exam, picked up a marble at the bus stop, and missed the bus while the little glass ball had her attention.
"So were you late for the entrance ceremony?", Kei asked.
Sera put the Chupa Chups back in her slightly tilted head.
"Yeah, that's where missing the bus led me. I could still make it if I took the next bus. But this got me thinking that I didn't mind."
"You mean you didn't mind being late to the ceremony?"
Sera nodded.
"I thought neglecting it wouldn't hurt. All they say there are things we've already heard enough times before, no? Someone who knows better would be out shopping instead."
(It's true that no one ever says anything interesting at an entrance ceremony. And all the teachers do after that is hand out the timetables and the student IDs. Picking those up tomorrow is not really a problem.)
"But you still came to the school gate after all."
"Yeah, that was pretty half-hearted of me. I genuinely wanted to ditch it, but I took middle school quite seriously, so I'm not exactly used to skipping classes for no reason."
She was muttering more than she was before. Could be because of the candy in her mouth, but Kei assumed another reason.
"Then I peered into the marble in front of the gate just for the sake of it and ended up how I am now.", she continued, slightly more quick-tongued.
"Are you a fan of marbles?"
"Huh?", Sera voiced her confusion before agreeing. "I quite like them."
"What exactly do you like about them."
"Hm, I guess their inaccuracy."
"Inaccuracy?"
"I mean, look, everything you see through them is so bent and inverted. It feels like they're mocking the real world."
"They really aren't."
"I like that image they pass, though.", said the girl looking down to the sky.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After finishing his pancakes and asking Sera every necessary question, Kei thought about leaving the café, until his phone rang.
It was from a number he'd never seen before. But he had a good guess for who it belonged to. He stood from his seat, turned away from Haruki and Sera, and pressed the green button.
Putting the phone to his ear, he heard a voice.
"Why haven't you Reset yet?"
It was Tsushima's voice.
"Haruki saved on noon two days ago. We have until tomorrow's noon to Reset."
Resetting "rewinds" the world to when it was Saved. Resetting immediately or the next noon wouldn't change what moment would be recreated. In that case, it was better to gather as much information as possible pre-Reset.
"Your job is to relay the situation to my past self. I'm not demanding anything above.", Tsushima berated.
"Yes, I know."
"Are you defying the Bureau's decision?"
His voice was vaguely condemning. Presumably on purpose.
"Not in the slightest."
"Then why aren't you Resetting immediately."
"I want to understand Sera first. I want to understand her problems and learn why she used her ability."
"What for?"
"To come up with a solution that works for her."
Sakurada's abilities were infinitely varied and incoherent. No ability was impossible. And with almost half the town population having one, they were extensive in quantity too. Competent as the Bureau might be, it was inconceivable that it could perfectly manage all of them. For that reason, the Bureau tended to cut a few corners. They simplify problems, fit them into cookie-cutter patterns, and handle them by following an inflexible handbook.
In simpler terms, the Bureau ignores the needs of the individual. The only goal is to solve the ability-induced problem, and the satisfaction of those involved isn't taken into account.
For the current case, the Bureau is not taking issue with the girl trapped inside a marble by her own ability. The biggest concern was that Sera used her ability on the occasion of the entrance ceremony and the first witnesses were parents of students. In short, the Bureau is displeased at how the ability-related issue is too conspicuous.
That was why Tsushima sped up their admission to the Service Club and said what he did.
ー You are the people for the task.
The Bureau sought the ability to remove problems before they occurred—the Reset.
He heard Tsushima's voice from the phone.
"Do you disagree with the Bureau's methods?"
Kei didn't hesitate in his answer.
"No, I think that's the right thing to do."
He really meant it. The Bureau was correct. He believed they were an effective organization that reliably achieved anything within their reach.
"Then why haven't you Reset yet?", Tsushima asked one more time.
"Holding myself to higher standards, for the lack of a better term."
Resetting would recreate the world before Sera entered the marble. If they retrieved the marble before she picked it up, she wouldn't be stuck in it. That's a solution. But it only removes the tangible part of the problem.
There is necessarily a reason for Sera Sawaka to have used her ability, even if not a conscious one. Her reason for wanting to lock herself inside the marble is somewhere to be found. The essence of the problem was outside the Bureau's viewpoint.
Kei only wanted to Reset if it was to solve both. The tangible problem and Sera's mental problem. Not for anyone else's sake, only for his own satisfaction. If possible, that's what he wanted.
Tsushima was silent for a while.
(He's either sighing or holding back laughter away from the phone. He understands perfectly well how ridiculous this conversation is.)
"I'm following your intentions to the letter.", Kei blurted out after losing his patience to continue this back-and-forth.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Your actions don't make sense from the perspective of someone who wants to follow the Bureau's policies to make us Reset immediately. There was no need to introduce us to Sera or hand us detailed intel on her ability."
If Resetting and leaving the rest to the Bureau truly sufficed, Tsuhima's actions were sub-optimal. He should have explained only the bare minimum and called for the Reset in that room, with no need to hand over the documents or put them to talk to Sera.
"It's evident to me that you don't want us to follow the Bureau's approach."
Tsushima laughed over the phone.
His answer wasn't yes or no.
"You're going to Reset when you feel good enough about it, right?"
"I will."
"Fine by me. Bye."
"Wait, please. I have a favor to ask.", Kei called him back before he hung up.
"What is it?"
"Can you give me phone numbers of Sera's middle school classmates?"
"How many?"
"As many as possible. But any number is fine."
"Come pick them up at the teacher's lounge."
He hung up without waiting for a reply.
With a light sigh, Kei put his phone back in his pocket.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
After hanging up his phone, Tsushima Shintarou stared at the ceiling.
He was on the sofa of the Service Club room. It was the perfect room to be alone since its club members didn't use it much.
Still with his head thrown back on the sofa, he picked up one of the entry forms on the table.
Asai Kei.
(As I figured, nothing escapes his sight.)
Kei observed the situation from multiple angles.
He meant today's case as a test for the special boy. He thought he should measure how far he'd obey or disobey the Bureau. But very early on, he caught on to the intentions behind the requests. That invalidated the test.
Tsushima laughed.
(I shouldn't have expected anything else.)
Two years before, at age 14, Asai Kei had already put up a fight against the Bureau. He forced a perfect organization that only ever solved problems to regard someone as an enemy.
But competence alone doesn't matter. The Bureau has more than enough of that.
Was he able to pick up what the city's management system chose to drop?
That was something Tsushima needed to ascertain.

Character Intro: Pagoniá (Kingdom of Ichor)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicknames- The Ice Queen by the people of Olympius
Mom by her daughter
Age- 33 (immortal)
Location- Skyline district, New Olympus
Personality- Much like her domain she can be cold, distant, & emotionally unavailable at times. More often than not she keeps the few people in her social circle at arm's length. She can be incredibly self-centered, but she's also sensual, intelligent, and creative. She's in a "situationship."
She has the standard abilities of a goddess. As the goddess of ice, her main ability is cryokinesis (on a much more powerful scale than her daughter) that also includes ice mimicry & blowing a powerful cold breath from her mouth. One of the deadliest abilities in her repertoire is the ice kiss- being able to freeze a person solid, thus shattering them, through a deep kiss.
Pagoniá currently lives in a luxury apartment at Bolt Towers that was bought for her by her lover. Before this, she used to reside in the Underworld. Her new apartment is the epitome of an icy wonderland. Inside the interior colors are shades of white, powder blue, silver, & gray. The thermostat is set a couple degrees below freezing. The flooring is snow white mink carpeting with glittery silver trim. There's a gorgeous chandelier overhead in the kitchen that's dripping in ice crystals and white diamonds. Many nude portraits of her are scattered throughout the place. There's a safe built into one of the walls where her more expensive jewelry is kept. Pagoniá has a single pet- a bichon frise; a boy named Snowball. She also owns a bungalow in the state of Thrace. She mainly gets around in her sleek silver sports car (that has platinum chrome spinners).
She usually starts off her mornings with a soak in the bath. The tub is filled with ice cubes & ice cold water and is then added with a few drops of essential oils of white tea, white grapefruit, peppermint, white sage, and vanilla bean. Her personal masseuse then comes over to give her a massage as well as a session of acupuncture.
Pagoniá lacks an affinity for cooking, so she usually dines out or eats in through take-out. For breakfast a usual order (through use of chariot service) is two breakfast burritos (with scrambled egg whites, bell peppers, & turkey bacon) from The Bread Box along with a stack of egg white pancakes (with ricotta and banana & drizzled in white chocolate syrup from The Hearthside Diner. Most of the times she'll settle for a bowl of Earthly Harvest honey vanilla toasted rice cereal with ice cold milk.
Notable features of the ice goddess is her distinct breathy speaking voice, her natural hourglass shape, and her platinum blonde hair, which she keeps in a bob of voluminous soft curls.
Pagoniá's immediately family includes her older sister Eváeros (goddess of air & the zodiacs), her nephews- Boreas (god of the north wind), Zephyrus (god of the west wind), Notus (god of the south wind), & Eurus (god of the east wind), and her only child Chione (goddess of snow). She was able to get pregnant on her own through the use of Gaia's fertility services. Pagoniá's pregnancy came about during the time of a deep depression when she felt the most alone. She wanted a person "who'd love her truly, no matter what." A fond memory she has of Chione was when she instinctively made her first snowflake at just three months old. Pagoniá's relationship with her sister has always been contentious. She's always been insecure about her status as a minor deity & the fact her sister achieved heightened status (her own star on the Pantheon Walk of Fame), Pagoniá feels more overlooked. With her nephews, she's more closer to Boreas.
Go-to drinks for her include ice cold water, cool blueberry lavender zero sugar Strengthify water, peppermint tea, classic martinis, & the white lady cocktail- a drink made with gin, triple sec, lemon juice, and an egg white). Her usuals from The Roasted Bean is a large white chocolate mocha and an olympian sized flat white.
Pagoniá has never been shy when it came to her sexuality. She was a genius when it came to crafting her public persona- being this alluring mysterious sensual being. At home & her vacation bungalow, a lot of her time is spent in the nude. She was even the first centerfold of Zeus' gentlemen's magazine. On the cover, she was laying on a snow leopard blanket wearing noting but sheer garter belt stockings, her body decorated in scattered decorative crystals.
Her favorite piece of jewelry that she always wears is her white gold necklace that has a diamond encrusted charm that's in the shape of a classic Megaleio handbag. With the permission of Clymene (Titaness of fame & renown), Chione designed & made the necklace.
One of her favorite desserts is the mille crepes cake from Salon du Sucre. She also likes baked alaska.
She loves watching rom-coms & drama films. Pagoniá will often have a weekend movie marathon with her daughter and her daughter's good friend Despoina (goddess of the arcadian mysteries, frost, winter, & shadows) while they pig out on truffle oil popcorn & pizza bianca.
Her favorite sweet treat is marshmallow ice cream, opting for a double scoop when she goes to The Frozen Spoon.
Pagoniá's main source of income comes from having the largest manufacturer/distributor of packaged ice products in Olympius (Chaíre Spíti) like ice vending, packaged ice, block ice, & cold storage for some examples. For cost effective reasons, the company is located in the Underworld. Her other sources of income comes from modeling for/endorsing Heavenly Spark, atelier fantaisie, Ice Stones (her daughter's jewelery brand), Megaleio, Diamond Ave., Stella Ferrea, & Euryphaessa.
She doesn't have many friends in the pantheon. She is however close with Mnemosyne (Titaness of memory & language), Asteria (Titaness of falling stars, magic, astrology, & nocturnal oracles), Dione, and Kéfi (goddess of mirth). Pagoniá is also close with some of The Ourea.
A guilty pleasure for her are the soft & buttery breadsticks from The Crown, Zeus' high end restaurant.
Pagoniá loves wearing the Olmorfia lip gloss in "Crystal Lights", a glittery iridescent color. Before putting on the lip gloss, she lines her lips with a nude lip liner.
As a Summer Solstice gift, Mnemosyne gave her a Diamond Ave. perfume bottle crystal shaped jeweled clutch. Kéfi gave her the stiletto crystal shoe shaped jeweled clutch for her birthday. Both cost well over 5,000 drachmas!
Pagoniá's love life has been tumultuous to say the least. She once drunkenly made out with her sister's ex Aegaeon (god of sea storms) while they were still together. Other lovers include Hydros (god of water), Priapus (god of fertility, vegetable gardens, livestock, sexuality, & masculinity), and several mortal men. Her current lover is a Hyperborean Giant named Krýstallos. He's a financial advisor on Acropolis Street who's also married with a wife and children. The buffer for them is Pagoniá's bungalow when she travels to Thrace a few times a month. She likes how he makes her feel safe and the fact that he constantly showers her with expensive jewelry- her favorite thus far being the platinum & diamond cuff bracelet which has a huge teardrop shaped diamond in the center. In her bouts of melancholy, Pagoniá will anonymously stalk his wife's Fatestagram profile. Her and Krýstallos has been phorgraphed in public once at a grand opening of the messenger god's high end restaurant. She looked immaculate of course- her hair in its signature soft curls, her pouty lips covered in matte nude lipstick, & she wore a see through skin tight crystal encrusted floor length gown with matching gloves. Nothing covered her breasts and she wore a nude colored thong.
Her all time favorite food is the vichyssoise along with seared scallops and oysters in a mignonette sauce topped with beluga caviar.
In her free time Pagoniá enjoys writing in her journal, shopping, gardening, reading, skiing (in the Underworld), clubbing, and sleeping.
"I'm cold as ice, but in the right hands, I'll melt."

Exploring the Indian Grill Experience: A Culinary Journey at Curry Indian Grill
Indian cuisine, with its rich tapestry of flavors and aromas, offers an immersive experience that goes beyond mere eating; it is a celebration of vibrant spices and diverse cooking techniques. At Curry Indian Grill, located in the heart of San Leandro, this experience is taken to an extraordinary level. The restaurant's menu is a meticulously crafted mosaic of Indian grill dishes, each offering a unique glimpse into the culinary traditions of India.
Tumblr media
Starters: Awakening the Palate
The journey at Curry Indian Grill begins with an enticing array of starters. The 'Vegetable Samosas', a beloved Indian snack, are perfectly crispy turnovers filled with a spicy mix of mashed potatoes and peas. Another must-try is the 'Paneer Tikka', where chunks of paneer, a fresh cottage cheese, are marinated in spices and grilled to perfection. These appetizers set the stage for the flavorful saga that is to follow, awakening the palate and preparing it for the rich flavors.
Main Courses: The Heart of Indian Cuisine
The centerpiece of the menu at Curry Indian Grill is its selection of main courses, featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. A standout dish is the 'Chicken Tikka Masala', a global ambassador of Indian food. Here, succulent pieces of chicken are bathed in a creamy, tomato-based sauce, rich with spices, offering a harmonious blend of flavors that are both comforting and exhilarating.
For those who lean towards plant-based diets, the 'Baingan Bharta' is a revelation. This dish is made from roasted eggplants, mashed and then cooked with onions, tomatoes, and a medley of spices, creating a smoky, savory dish that is deeply satisfying.
From the Tandoor: The Art of Grilling
The Tandoori dishes are a testament to the art of Indian grilling. The 'Tandoori Chicken', a quintessentially Indian dish, involves marinating chicken in a blend of yogurt and spices, then cooking it in a tandoor, a cylindrical clay oven. The result is incredibly juicy and tender meat with a slightly smoky flavor that is uniquely tantalizing.
Vegetarians can delight in the 'Tandoori Paneer', where the paneer is marinated in a special blend of spices and then grilled to achieve a golden crust with a soft, melty interior. It's served with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of chaat masala, enhancing the natural flavors of the paneer.
Accompaniments: Enhancing Every Bite
No Indian meal is complete without a proper set of accompaniments. At Curry Indian Grill, the 'Garlic Naan' and 'Basmati Rice' are mainstays, acting as the perfect vehicles to enjoy the rich, saucy dishes. The garlic naan, soft and pillowy, is speckled with caramelized garlic bits, offering a crunchy contrast to its chewy texture.
Desserts: A Sweet Finale
To round off the meal, the 'Gulab Jamun', deep-fried milk solids soaked in sweet syrup, provides a decadent end to the dining experience. The warm, sweet balls are comforting, pairing wonderfully with a cup of 'Masala Chai', a spiced tea that complements the sweet treat.
Conclusion: A Melting Pot of Flavors
Curry Indian Grill in San Leandro is more than just a restaurant; it's a destination that offers a window into the diverse and rich culinary culture of India. Each dish tells a story of regional flavors and traditional techniques, inviting diners to partake in a feast that is both culturally enriching and immensely satisfying. Whether you are a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer, the menu at Curry Indian Grill promises an unforgettable culinary journey.

Tumblr media
Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Recipe
When it comes to appetizers or side dishes, there's something truly magical about the combination of smoky bacon and fresh asparagus. This Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus recipe is a crowd-pleaser that's perfect for any occasion, whether you're hosting a dinner party or just looking for a delightful snack. With its crispy bacon exterior and tender asparagus interior, this dish strikes the perfect balance between savory and indulgent. Let's dive into this easy and delicious recipe!
Ingredients
Note: Adjust quantities based on the number of servings you need.
1 bunch of fresh asparagus spears (about 1 pound)
8-10 slices of bacon (thin or thick cut, depending on your preference)
Olive oil for drizzling
Freshly ground black pepper
Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Toothpicks (soaked in water for 15 minutes)
Instructions
1. Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This will ensure that your bacon-wrapped asparagus cooks evenly and becomes wonderfully crispy.
2. Prepare the Asparagus:
Start by washing the asparagus thoroughly. Then, trim off the tough woody ends (usually about 1-2 inches from the bottom). You can do this by gently bending each spear; it will naturally snap where the tender part begins.
3. Wrap the Asparagus:
Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around an asparagus spear from the bottom to the top, ensuring the bacon overlaps itself slightly. Secure the bacon in place with a toothpick, piercing it through the ends of the bacon and the asparagus. Repeat this step for all the asparagus spears.
4. Arrange on a Baking Sheet:
Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure to leave a little space between each one to allow for even cooking.
5. Drizzle with Olive Oil:
Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the bacon-wrapped asparagus. This will help the bacon crisp up nicely while roasting.
6. Season with Black Pepper:
Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the asparagus for a burst of flavor.
7. Roast in the Oven:
Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender. You can check for doneness by inserting a fork into the asparagus; it should easily pierce the stalk.
8. Optional Parmesan Topping:
If you'd like to take your bacon-wrapped asparagus to the next level, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese over the top during the last 5 minutes of cooking. This adds a delightful cheesy touch.
Tumblr media
Serve and Enjoy
Once your bacon-wrapped asparagus is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Carefully remove the toothpicks before serving. Arrange the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a platter and watch them disappear as your guests enjoy this delectable treat.
This Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus recipe is a fantastic way to elevate your appetizer game. With its irresistible combination of smoky bacon and tender asparagus, it's sure to be a hit at your next gathering. Whether you serve it as an appetizer, side dish, or even as a party snack, it's bound to be a crowd-pleaser.

Shahi Tukda Indulgent Indian Dessert Recipe.
Author: Rana Sharma.
Hello everyone,                          A warm welcome to all of you in the world smallest blog  named "FOOD FOOD JUNCTION", hope you are doing well .  Today i am very much excited to share the recipe of "Shahi Tukda Indulgent Indian Dessert Recipe  ". So lets begin our journey. Shahi Tukda is a popular and indulgent Indian dessert that originates from the Mughlai cuisine. It's a rich and decadent dish made using fried bread soaked in a fragrant saffron and cardamom-infused sugar syrup, topped with a luscious layer of creamy rabri (reduced milk) or condensed milk. Here's how it typically tastes: Sweetness: Shahi Tukda is quite sweet due to the sugar syrup and condensed milk/rabri topping. The sweetness is balanced by the richness of the dish. Creaminess: The dish has a creamy and velvety texture. The rabri or condensed milk on top adds a luxurious and smooth element to the crispy fried bread. Aromatics: Saffron and cardamom are commonly used to flavor both the sugar syrup and the rabri. These spices lend a distinct aromatic and slightly floral note to the dessert. Crunch and Softness: The fried bread is both crispy and soft. The exterior is crunchy, while the interior absorbs some of the sugar syrup and becomes moist and tender. Nutty and Fruity: Some variations of Shahi Tukda include garnishes of chopped nuts such as almonds, pistachios, and sometimes even dried fruits like raisins. These add a pleasant crunch and a touch of nutty flavor. Syrup-Soaked: The fried bread slices are soaked in the fragrant sugar syrup, allowing them to absorb the sweetness and flavors, making each bite soaked and delightful.Overall, Shahi Tukda is a combination of contrasting textures and flavors – the crispy, the creamy, the sweet, and the aromatic – all coming together to create a truly indulgent dessert experience. It's often served at special occasions and celebrations due to its richness and elaborate preparation.
