This is a fun one! I'm cracking up because I'm just imagining Eren throwing a fit because he's going to have to share his parents with a stranger. I mean, Zeke is 10 years older than him and he lived most of the time with his mom so our boy Eren is afflicted by both only child and youngest child syndrome. He's flipping out thinking that he's going to have to (shudder) make concessions for someone else.

He's been performing small acts of sabotage to make sure this Hizuran interloper never feels at home (loosening the screws in her desk chair so it will fall apart, switching out the new pillow Carla bought for her bed with the old lumpy one Eren fished out of the trash. He stuck needles in her mattress. He went all out because he's a dastardly little shit). Armin is so sick of hearing Eren bitch about how a man's home is his castle and blah blah blah. I think Eren probably believes the exchange student is a boy because he doesn't listen to anything his parents say.

They make him come to the airport with them because they want the whole family to welcome their guest, so Eren is standing there with them, eyeing every guy coming through the gate with animosity, wondering which one is going to be his new nemesis.

Then he sees Mikasa. His mouth falls open and he gets a little flustered because she's so pretty, but what's he supposed to do about it? They probably don't speak the same language and he's got a foreign exchange student to terrorize.

But then she sees the sign Eren's dad is holding with her name on it and she smiles and heads directly their way.

Eren starts to panic, trying to think if he knows any Hizuran.

"Oh, there she is!" says Carla, clapping and hurrying forward to greet her.

"She?" Eren gulps.

"Our exchange student!" says Grisha.

"Her?" says Eren.

"She's very pretty," Grisha comments. "Keep an eye on her at school."

"Okay," says Eren, hurrying over to where Carla is hugging Mikasa because now he wants a turn.

As soon as Carla is out of the way, Eren takes her place, squeezing Mikasa in a tight hug. "Hi, I'm Eren."

"My host brother!" she says in her very cute accent.
