How It is Created: Tiger’s Eye is basically a quartz but they formed in such an unusual way that the fibers of the mineral called crocidolite are laid down in parallel bands within the structure. This creates its silk like appearance and its “cat’s eye”.
History: Tombs in the ancient city of Ur in Mesopotamia (now Iraq) dating back to 2500 BCE have yielded gold sets with agates, like tiger’s eye and carnelian. The tiger’s eye was very popular due to the belief that it harnessed the power of the earth and the sun. This is why it is associated with the god of the sun, Ra and why Egyptians considered it a very valuable gem. Roman soldiers believed that the tiger’s eye was a symbol of bravery and would ride with pieces of tiger’s eye on them in order to encourage bravery during battles.

The Fullest History of a Hylic World

It has been three years now since I began obsessing over the purposefully vague worldbuilding of the Hylics games, so I’d say now’s about time I finally share with you all MY personal interpretation of how this world and its many ages were sculpted!
Without further ado, please enjoy my absurd history lesson 🌙
In an unknown year during an unknown age, the planet’s celestial satellite began to soften. Less than a year later the satellite, or “Moon” as it was called by the planet’s original denizens, fell from its orbit and drenched the earth in a thick, viscous matter. 99% of the flora and fauna were crushed under the weight of the moon and melted beneath it but not entirely killed, instead becoming a living terrestrial ocean.
Once the moon matter hardened into a sturdy clay, pockets of life begin to mold themselves out of the soil in the form of thin strands of clay piled on top of each other. This era is known as the Age of Insects.
It is speculated that this event occurred simultaneously alongside the final death and/or reconstitution of the few surviving mutants of the previous age, all too obsessed with their last remaining arcades, televisions, and metal detectors to attempt to rebuild their old world. Those that accept this theory title this parallel age as the Age of Non-Sequiturs.
Metamorphic beings with self-awareness evolve throughout the island chains dotted across deep, viscous oceans. Surviving electronic carapaces join them in conscious thought, displaying pictures that inspire them to create more advanced tools and architecture. The Age of Self-Actualization begins.
Grand cities are constructed (ex: Amulom, Yiithorn, etc.) as well as microwaves and paper cups. Gestures begin to be recorded onto televisions without the need of a VCR. Some computers are later domesticated, whilst others evolve further. Boats and flying ships are invented too.
The existence of the Afterlife is well-known amongst all hylics and is treated as sacred, as there are no ways of accessing it outside of dying.
Certain hylic individuals dedicate their beings so closely to understanding certain unknown aspects of their lives that their bodies begin to morph into new forms. These larger forms allow them to achieve higher states of consciousness via psychic inclinations, and thus they are labeled as “Sages” by the hylics. 
Alongside this phenomena, distant memories of the moon begin to show themselves in rock formations and living beings. Some beings view the existence of a now-absent moon in reverence, constructing pottery and even a television in its image.
The Great Conflict is fought between the Sages and a terrifying force hellbent on conquering the entire world and subjecting all beings to their violent whims. It is the first major battle fought for the sake of the earth, and it lasted a decent length of time by hylic standards. Only after defeating their most powerful general, a psychic homunculus they created named Fuller, did the conflict finally end, though some forces still survive today and wish to take what is rightfully “theirs.”
An underground building project near Amulom accidentally unearths an opening to the Afterlife. Wanting to heighten the potential of all hylic life so no more conflicts will ever be fought again, the Sages join together and construct the Hylemxylem. The massive organism uses its tendrils to suck up terrestrial juice from the Afterlife below in order to convert it into raw energy and transmit it across the atmosphere. This ushers in the enlightened Age of Sages, which lasts for a good length of time by hylic standards.
Whilst the ‘xylem persists, certain moon-obsessed beings who disagree with the harvesting of terrestrial juice begin construction on an alternate method of utopia. After many, many years, it is finally pulled out of the atmosphere and set to orbit the planet as a celestial satellite. This creates lurid controversy, but nothing too obscene.
Having taken too much juice from beneath the earth, the Hylemxylem implodes on itself. The resulting deluge of terrestrial juice engulfs most of Amulom’s archipelago. Alongside this, many of the technological advancements such as cabinets and paper cups become buried and nearly forgotten by both the remaining and future hylics. This calamitous event becomes known as The Accretion.
Gibby, self-proclaimed King of the Moon, finally makes himself known across the planet. Taking advantage of the chaos left in the wake of the Accretion, he convinces the populace that the Sages are the enemy of the hylics and establishes his celestial satellite as the single enlightening force. The Sages go into hiding, and after forming an army of soldiers and bureaucrats alike, the King enacts his spell of absurdity to reduce the earthly hylics into a state of lunacy. This, he believes, is the only way to reconstitute the earth and re-establish the Age of Sages he was denied a part in.
A yellow, crescent-headed moon being named Wayne escapes the Moon and finds a nice abandoned house to crash at for a little while. He and his only friend, Somsnosa, find a microphone and guitar in a trash can and decide to make some music. Moonage Lobotomy is formed.
One day Wayne convinces Somsnosa, alongside two other anarchists named Dedusmuln and Pongorma, to fly to the Moon and defeat Gibby once and for all. The Moon is destroyed and sanity is reestablished, but other than a single poet there were no permanent deaths recorded.
A gibbylet of Gibby survives the destruction of the Moon and finds itself in the hands of Blerol, chieftain of the newly established city of New Muldul. After several days of being convinced of its potential destructive power, the chieftain agrees to move it from a display case in his safe to be sealed within a vault on the forbidden island of Foglast.
On a peninsula nearby New Muldul, a population of creatures who call themselves Wayne, birthed by a sage-like psychic known as Old Wayne, is discovered and befriended by the locals. Preparations for Gibby’s potential return are taken seriously by friend and foe alike.
Moonage Lobotomy goes on to release its fourth studio album after the second defeat of Lord Gibby and the destruction of his recreated Hylemxylem, resulting in the highest selling record ever recorded and the first world-wide concert tour. As the tour is going on, Wayne’s species begins to grow, spreading further along other archipelagos.
Some scholars are suggesting that Gibby's reign be known as the Age of Lunacy for self-explanatory reasons, while others insist on calling it the Age of the Accretion as that was the event which kickstarted the long dark age. As of right now, though, no one has a name for this new age yet.
Wayne, lead guitarist of Moonage Lobotomy, is declared missing.

The Children of the Cathedral are a cult in the ruins of L.A. who mutate and torture their congregants and captives to various ends, forever changing their bodies and minds. Some are transformed into pliable servitors through torturous consecration--an honor second only to baptism, the metamorphic birth of super mutants through the transformative FEV vats at Mariposa to the north.
Most super mutants are mentally impaired, but generally capable of reason. They are infertile due to their quad-helix DNA, which factors heavily into the main plot. All super mutants encountered in Fallout are slaves to the Master, so they are generally inclined to attack to the player, but almost (if not) all of them can be spoken to under specific circumstances.
Harry is a voiced mutant with a simplistic, childlike manner of speaking. If the Vault Dweller kills the various super mutants in the area, he will avenge each of his friends by name in combat, and mourn one as his brother.[1][2] If the player has already destroyed the vats, he will only ask to be left alone.[3][4]
When the Master is killed, super mutants flee the region out of fear.[5] For decades thereafter, baptized survivors of the Cathedral remained shunned from human society. Even those living in far-away rehabilitory seclusion are subjected to harassment, defamation, displacement, and genocide, engineered by the NCR government.[6]
These details contrast some later depictions of super mutants as interchangeable and inherently hyper-violent creatures incapable of peace.
Super mutants derived from prime normals (unirradiated humans) tend to exhibit hyper-intelligence, or at least normal cognitive function.
The mutant Lou Tenant speaks with a highly sophisticated and dramatic voice due to his hyper-intelligence. No other super mutant in the setting has exhibited this affected style of speech.
Some adherents are altered in a chemical process called "consecration."[7][8] The survivors of this process, though apparently human, are rendered insane.[9][10] The cult honors them as the "servitor" class, but non-believers pejoratively refer to them as "zombies" for their inability to think normally. Most of these "zombies" zealously espouse the cult's propaganda and show little individuality.
The servitor Dane is kept in the Inner Sanctum. He suffers terribly from disturbing hallucinations as a result of his consecration.[7] He converses with himself at length in two distinct intonations. At one point, he derides himself as a "schizo bastard."[11] He also experiences periods of lucidity, and begs the Vault Dweller to kill Father Lasher for his abuse of Calder the Flower Child.
Nightkin are the most exalted of the Cathedral's castes. Psychically inclined, they serve as high-level guards and military officers. They use Stealth Boys to stay invisible at all times, even when alone in their private quarters at night. A small library at the Cathedral is occupied only by nightkin, and a computer can be found in the nightkin barracks. The Master is able to communicate with them telepathically. Dane claims to hear the nightkin crying.
In Fallout 2, most super mutants live peacefully at Broken Hills, a settlement where all sorts of humans and mutants are welcome.
In Brotherhood of Steel, all the super mutants (such as Attis), are infertile. This is a key aspect of the game's plot, as the Attis Army are seeking a cure for their infertility.
Most super mutants are mentally disabled.
Several potential health and ability issues are indicated by a scene which depicts a super mutant relieving himself while flailing his arms above his head and screaming, as he blasts the back tank of a closed toilet from several feet away with an unthinkable procession of urine too visually graphic to further describe.[Video 1]
All super mutants in Fallout 3 except for Fawkes and Uncle Leo are portrayed as ravenous cannibals barely capable of speech. Fawkes is ostracized by the super mutants of Vault 87 for displaying complex thought. If the player eavesdrops on super mutant enemies, they seem to be constantly confused and angry.
Jacobstown functions as a haven and rehabilitation center for super mutants, especially the nightkin who are suffering from schizophrenia due to prolonged Stealth Boy usage. Two doctors reside here, hoping to find some way to help them medically with their mental struggles.
Lily Bowen, a nightkin herself and resident of Jacobstown, is an elderly woman with dementia. She frequently mistakes the Courier for her grandchild (Jimmy or Becky depending on the gender) and also suffers schizophrenia like most nightkin. Taking damage may cause her to lapse into violent behavior, similar to mood swings, during which she claims to be guided by a voice she calls "Leo." Her companion quest focuses on getting Lily to either take her medication consistently (to help control her psychosis and silence "Leo"), or stop taking it altogether (later resulting in "Leo" completely taking over and Lily becoming violently psychotic, perhaps permanently).
The mutant separatist Tabitha suffers from mania. She also seems to have some degree of dissociative identity disorder. A robot named Rhonda helps her manage the symptoms of her mental conditions. With Rhonda disabled, Tabitha's mental condition is deteriorating.
Tabitha's Black Mountain mutants are presented as a violent parallel faction to the peaceful community of Jacobstown.
A super mutant named Neil guards the pass to Black Mountain, and warns people to stay away for their own safety, especially at night. He maintains his post simply because he is in a position to prevent violence on a significant scale. Neil is not mentally disabled, and will not tolerate microaggressions pertaining to his condition, both out of self-respect and respect for differently abled metamorphic people. He is quick to forgive those who apologize, but any other option will result in him terminating the conversation.
The presentation of Tabitha as a violent nightkin with a comedic low-detail blond wig has been criticized as falling into cheap, antiquated tropes related to disabled and queer people. The depiction of Gail in Fallout 76 as a benevolent, dignified super mutant woman with mental disabilities has been praised in comparison.
The nightkin Dog and God has been called a portrayal of dissociative identity disorder. Both identities are aware of the other. Each desires complete control over the body and refers to losing agency to the other as being "put in the cage/basement." The nightkin's story ends with either an act of suicide that kills the body and both identities with it, one personality taking over permanently, or the Courier helping to create a new unified identity.
This new identity is, in turn, struck with amnesia, unable to recall any details of that which transpired before its synthesis.
Fans with similar conditions have suggested that the presentation of efficaciously "resolving" this person into a single personality to "unlock their good ending" is a simplistic and clichéd character arc. It presents the character's mind and identity as something to be immediately "solved" by a manipulative stranger, in the form of a life-changing ego death triggered by a single violent and traumatizing event. The relatively complex presentation of fellow nightkin character Lily has been praised in comparison.
Dead Eye is a blind super mutant who lives with a larger group of mutants.
Super mutants are once again depicted as disorganized cannibals who live only to pillage.[23] The only conversant super mutant characters (aside from the isolated case of Virgil) are Strong and Erickson, both of who were othered by their immediate groups for expressing different and/or complex thought. Super mutants in the Commonwealth can be seen impulsively carrying out suicide bombings using mini nukes, despite canonically having no ideology[23] or even an apparent internal hierarchy apart from leadership by strength.
Strong, a potential companion, became very interested in a line from MacBeth when Rex Goodman was captured while trying to teach it to the super mutants, though it seems he simply became fixated on the notion that "the milk of human kindness" was a literal physical liquid hidden somewhere in the world that confers the "power of humans" on the drinker; Strong believes he could find and drink this milk to become stronger. He was imprisoned along with Rex by Fist for this. He never particularly expresses a deeper comprehension of the literary themes of MacBeth past his obsession with finding the milk of human kindness.
Erickson became a survivalist after splitting from his group on the Island. He claims the Fog helped him "think straight," which made him unable to continue working for his brutal leader. He is the only super mutant in Fallout 4 to be seen speaking with proper syntax except for Virgil.
Virgil is a former Institute scientist who deliberately turned himself into a super mutant to survive in the Glowing Sea and hopes to reverse his condition. He retains his intelligence but suffers from anger issues. He also has difficulty articulating the use of his hands.
The super mutant merchant Grahm was arguably the only non-robotic NPC in Fallout 76 at launch. He travels with a brahmin he calls "Chally the moo-moo," apparently unable to pronounce the name "Charlie."
Gail is a super mutant woman who lives among the Core crew of the Crater Raiders. She is singularly concerned with protecting the human child Ra-Ra. She finds humans very annoying and confusing. She casually admits to not understanding some events which happen around her.
Ra-Ra mentions that she wants to grow up to be like Meg and Gail, suggesting that she sees both as powerful and dignified women.
Her design has no elements which might frame her masculine physicality as comedic, or imply she is "crazy."
Maul is a super mutant who exhibits the typical simplified speech and love of mayhem, but concerns himself with intellectual pursuits such as video games and comics. He wears a small pair of glasses, and he may respond to dialogue prompts with nonverbal scoffs. Maul is an archetypical "comic book guy" character, and accordingly resembles an autistic RPG fan. Like Gail, Maul finds humans and their interests to be obnoxious and inscrutable, and makes no attempt to hide his contempt for the player character.
Maul infodumps about his special interest fictions. His favorite IP seems to be Grognak the Barbarian.
Some of his analysis of fictional situations reveals a difficulty understanding social cues.
At times, his descriptions of the video game adaptation evoke discussions of soulslike games.
Contrasting his vocal misanthropy, he expresses great affinity for animals. He considers himself a dog person, because 'cat require more patience than Maul prepared to give.' If Maul had cats, he would name them Bramble and Zil.

last month, i made a poll asking my followers if they wanted a thread on pluto in its own house, so here a list of some characteristics i’ve seen in 8H plutos:
very interested in psychology and what goes on within the mind. much like 8H mercuries they are students of human nature
brilliant musicians and poets due to their passion for psychology. since they like to know how the mind works, they enjoy being able to move others, excite them, terrify them, etc.
incredible psychic prowess, though they can be unaware of these skills / passively embrace them
capable of becoming very powerful and socially impactful people as pluto is the planet of power
somewhat prone to controversy or they have a strong interest in the controversies other people are involved in
must often learn to accept change because changes are constantly happening in their lives. pluto here accentuates the already metamorphic qualities of the 8H
they can be exceptionally private people; someone else having access to their inner world is a very big deal for them
tend to have recurring dreams, especially those of a more violent or grim nature. they often receive important information through their dreams
these individuals can have a difficult relationship with shared finances and business contracts. receiving or lending money can typically intimidate or bring them stress
true crime, horror, murder mysteries, thriller movies, etc. are usually big favorites of theirs

Sometimes being a powerful telepath sucked all the fun of her existence. Nothing surprised Emma anymore, and it took great control on her part to shut the world up and keep it at bay. Everyone was so transparent, even when they thought they weren't, their minds clear as crystal.
Perhaps that's why the metamorph managed to get one up on her this time--'Mystique's' mind was always moving and changing like mercury, so if she moved JUST quickly enough at just the right moment, she could trap the powerful psychic in a lucky instant.
Red lips pressed to silver, as blue fingers grasped gently at her throat while the other steadied on the wall behind them. Emma's clear eyes widened in protest at first--her personal space completely infringed upon! A swarm of desire and intent poured into the kiss, feeding into Emma's third eye, as she eased into the kiss, taking advantage of the free reading she was about to get into the other mutant's mind. She lazily inhaled the other woman's breath, siphoning her want into her own, letting Raven's tongue delve deeper against hers, playing into the desires. Nimble, pale fingers imitated what she saw--fingers tracing the back of her neckline playfully, while others gripped at the back of cherry-red hair with a possessive yank.
The kiss broke with a sudden chuckle.

"My...How interesting..." She purred, not letting go of red tresses JUST yet. Her grip lessened as she leaned against the wall, taking a casual stance, not showing a single sign of intimidation.

"I wonder how I am going to describe that little foray into madness to Erik...won't that get a rise?" She pauses with a slight knowing glint to her eye, "Or Agatha..no no no....That'd be too vulgar..." Her voice lowers, treading into dangerous territory, as many memories and desires passed through all at once into that kiss.
"No. I'd hate to be rude. I just don't think I am cold enough for your tastes...perhaps if I sported a handsome set of golden horns?"
She sighed out in false rejection. "What's a lady to do, being cast out as...what is it? Fourth fiddle? Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, I have soooo many WiPs I’m not gonna be able to tag as many people on here. XD It’s not even a humble brag, I’m just a mess of a 40-year-old with too many ideas and not enough time to put them all down in writing. But I’m working on it! One idea at a time. :3 So bear with me, everyone. Moar HankCon (and other pairings) will be in all our futures.
The Kamski Experience - When a team of struggling documentary filmmakers get an invitation to the secret location of Elijah Kamski's newest stab at hospitality, they expect an exclusive peek into the mind of the reclusive genius.
But when the work weekend turns into a deadly game of chess with a masked serial killer, they must each pass a personally customized death trap in order to escape - or die trying.
Wayfarer - AU take on the movie Passengers, but if it were a thriller and the main character and love interest were more equal partners right from the start.
When You’re a Stranger - AU take on the movie Deliver us Fom Evil, in which Connor is a homicide investigator with a psychic streak, and Hank is a (derobed) Lutheran priest now working as freelancing exorcist.
Heart/Soul - set five months after the end of the game. Starting with Connor taking a leap of faith on stage, declaring his love for Hank with an old power ballad from the '80s.
Monochromat - a story set a few months after my first massive HankCon fic, Metamorph; When androids first start disappearing for no apparent reason, there’s no obvious signs of foul play, but then android bodies start showing up all over Detroit. Android life and death semantics aside, it would seem there is a serial killer on the prowl.
Then, to make matters worse, one of the original leaders of Jericho suddenly goes missing without a word. Hank and Connors Mark I and II find themselves racing against the clock, with too much evidence and too little time.
Gambit - another what-if kind of fic branching off a chapter of Metamorph.

DBH x Dragon Age Inquisition AU, in which Hank is a former Templar and Connor is a mage on the run. Set right after the botched Conclave.
Mr Stern’s Criminal Conundrums - a silly, fun Ms Fisher’s Murder Mysteries AU in which the honorable Mr Connor Stern is an elegant bachelor by day and all-out flapper fabulosity at night. Solving crime and making men swoon all hours of the live-long day. His ever present adversary-cum-ally is Lieutenant Hank Anderson, who doesn't need this kitten heel/fancy frock BS in his life (but secretly loves it).
Plotbunny Hank/60: At CyberLife Tower, Hank shoots the wrong Connor and completely breaks down. As a direct result, Connor-60 begins questioning everything he thought he knew.
Runaway Man - A The Fugitive (movie) AU, in which Hank is wrongfully accused of killing his ex, and Connor is tasked with hunting him down.
The Mummy AU - with Librarian!Connor and Pilot!Hank tracking down an ancient ruin to retrieve an heirloom of Hank’s (or something far, far worse ;) ). Something he lost a veritable lifetime ago. Featuring ridiculously rich Elijah Kamski headed to the same ancient site in order to find something far more interesting - an artifact promising eternal life; and the Jericho Four as a gang of troublemakers who may or may not be out for the same thing (or just stopping Kamski). Everyone has secrets, and nobody’s safe from whatever lies waiting in the depths of the ruin.
I have woefully neglected two raffle fics I started as well, but more on them in a different post. <3
Last but not least, I have a whole sentence of a PWP that never went anywhere (yet): “One of Connor’s favorite things to do in the bedroom, was watching Hank fuck himself using one of his dildos.”

Hello!! Goddess OC anon here! Today I would like to borrow your ear for a spot of cosmology! In my universe, all sapient beings have a potential direct-ish line to the gods in their minds. This is because the gods are not entities on their own, but the eventual result of tens of thousands of dead consciousnesses sharing a single thought or aim until a new being is shaped, like a metamorphic rock. Most of these are the result of cultish rituals, except for the protectoress and the seeker (god of knowledge), since that's what's generally needed to have so many people dying with the same intrinsic desire.
(None of these gods have names yet because I want to give them cool and intimidating titles yet am so very very bad at naming >.<)
The universe is a vast number of planets, many of which are inhospitable, lifeless, or in the last legs of their civilization. Travel between them is possible due to the remains of a prehistoric interstellar alchemy-powered civilization. Opening a star gate requires a sacrifice, not always in blood, but always terrible. Many species exist - some emerging from the radioactivity-and-blood-magic cocktail the Alchemeisters left on the planets they abandoned.
The lines connecting mortal to deity exist in almost everyone, but need to be opened. In the case of the god of knowledge, for example, everyone (well, 70% of every sapient, individual, mentally human-aligned species) is born with a logic puzzle in their mind. If they successful find, consider, and solve this puzzle, their connection to the god is opened up. The opening for the god of bloodshed is a sufficient amount of simple violence, one premediated murder, and one betrayal and butchery. Every female child is born with an open link. It's not perfect - there's all the problems of AGAB roles - but it's the easiest way through, especially since souls don't differentiate between humans and eldritch beings, let alone men and women.
The purpose of priests is to help with this psychic connection, help explain the clauses, to link one devotee's conscious to that of the rest of them to make a sort of psychic gathering. (A groupchat of sorts.) The reason the students of the seeker are so predominantly male is because priests will often crack open the hooks a tiny bit for male babies, making it easier for them to find the puzzle in the first place, and then to connect. Higher priests also serve as leaders of these gatherings.
Luna, the trans priestess from before, is also a member of the Seeker's flock, though these days she mostly just goes there to spy. She finds more fulfillment in the pen than the textbook, these days. This intelligence is how she managed to link herself to the protectoress' ladies by hand.
The Protectoress differs from the other gods in a few other ways, especially related to what happens to priestesses after their deaths but this is long enough.

i think this is all SUPER interesting and creative lore for the gods, im not really sure what else i could say beyond the fact that im very invested in this system! i am a bit curious abt the way some of the sex biases work and why though? esp since they dont differentiate between men and women but then at the same time they do? it might be on me for not fully getting it tho lol
i really do have to give you huge props for coming up with such intricate and HUGE lore for a system thats cosmically-based. not just terrestrial fantasy but THE WHOLE UNIVERSE its so cool. it creates such a great sense of scale here, like, the way you explain it really does make it seem big. bigger than anything going on on earth that we could really understand. but at the same time everyone has the potential to really connect with the gods on this scale, like the lines you described... its really very cool. the whole all is one and one is all thing.
AND from the little bits of info on other worldbuilding stuff you give its also clear theres a looooot going on for the mortals too. like the alchemisters and radioactivity magic and stuff. theres a lot of complex lore here building on top of itself that i find super fascinating. its awesome!!!
honestly im not great at names either, so i dont blame you for having a hard time coming up with ones to match this scale. i think my only suggestion (from experience) is to not overcomplicate the names. sometimes short and blunt sounds can convey power in just one syllable. its to the point, yknow? so i think thats something to consider when making names that sound grand too... also sometimes its not the name itself, but the context surrounding it! AT managed to make a name as silly as "golb" seem soo serious and important lol. so dont stress too much abt the name itself but what you can make with it, especially with lore this grand! but obvs youd know what fits them the best

Hysterix and Dimacrodon!

Based off of Platyhystrix and Dimetrodon, these two are based off of the theory that Dimetrodon's sail was used for intimidation, combined with famous false-face intimidation displays on creatures throughout history to turn its famous sail into a toothy grimace.
While Hysterix is a bit too young and anxiety-riddled to properly make use of its disorienting and diversionary psychic powers granted to it via use of its sail, its older sibling in Dimacrodon is an expert in using its abilities to both defend itself and to feed itself. Having little to no capacity to hunt or even forage, a Dimacrodon is evolved to subsist solely on the fear and negative energy its intimidating and illusory excel at creating. It's favorite and most reliable strategy for feeding is lying in ambush and luring simple-minded hunters towards its true body using an appetizing illusion of a Rattata or Pidgey, only to lash out in menacing snarls, deafening screeches, and blinding lights emanating from its sail, sending any would-be hunter running for their lives.
While extraordinarily rare, a Dimacrodon in an excess of fear is free to gluttonize this abundant resource, and with the increased energy a few special specimens are able to metamorphize into...

Mega Dimacrodon! First Mega since the Starters!
While a normal Dimacrodon is a mild nuisance with illusions that lose effectiveness on anything more intelligent than a human child, a Mega Dimacrodon is an insidious but silent horror capable of infesting and overrunning entire settlements through psychic ability alone.
Capable of unexplainably manifesting in any sufficiently hidden and dark areas (including but not limited to: alleyways, basements, and behind large pieces of furniture that its dimensions should be unable to fit behind) and armed with dozens of glowing eyes that can induce insanity at a mere glance, a Mega Dimacrodon's psychic abilities are unmatched by any other Pokemon on the island, used solely to cultivate and feast on as much fear as possible. Targeting human settlements, a Mega Dimacrodon's hunting patterns consist of hunkering down in as discreet of a location and possible and using its illusions- which are almost impossible to even recognize as illusions and easily able to fool even Human adults- to hide its true body, cultivate paranoia and distrust, and feast on its spoils. If left unchecked, a well-established settlement can be reduced to babbling hysteria within a few months, with ancient artifacts even suggesting that one settlement worshiped a Mega Dimacrodon for up to 50 years, violently defending its true body from other settlements and offering up all that they owned to the beast.
Any strange occurrences observed, such as civilians disappearing after ducking into dead ends or dangerous Pokemon inexplicably appearing outside windows, are to be reported to the nearest Trainer or Gym leader, as these are possibly illusions caused by a Mega Dimacrodon. Acting quickly is the key to defeating a Mega Dimacrodon, as it is most vulnerable before it can fully cultivate an aura of fear within its hunting grounds, to a point where merely finding its true body while in this vulnerable period can cause it to dissipate in a suffocating flash of pure darkness, leaving behind only amnesia for those under its madness-inducing effects and its pitch-black "slobber" excreted by its sail. Said slobber actually functions as a surprisingly effective skincare ointment, and is prized by dermatologists and dermatology-inclined individuals who are able to stave off the minor impulses of cannibalism present after application.

Some Killer Klowns from Outer Space Fanart. A new game has been slated for 2023, and I noticed that they were adding a few more Klown types when compared to the Original 1988 movie.  Given the vagueness of the lore, I decided to make my own Klown type: The large and horrifying “Matron.” 
The Matron Description: 
This large and imposing Matriarch acts as a mastermind and manipulator on any sizable “Mothership.” She can typically be found lounging in the ship, consuming large amounts of cotton candy and PopKorn while watching her minion’s activities remotely.  
Abilities: 
-Psychic Abilities: Like a large number of Klowns, the Matron able to read emotions and base thoughts, control shadows, and metamorphize opponents. The Matron is also able to induce positive emotions in other Klowns, with the exception of other Matron-style entities.  
-Super Physical Abilities: The Matron’s physical abilities can typically surpass any non-T3 Klown (Jojo). Similar to other Klowns, she has advanced strength and regeneration abilities. However, she also has a large size, and several dexterous arms which she can use to grab opponents. She cannot hop like a typical Klown Soldier, but can inflate parts of her body to fuel “Swansong” attacks.
-Superior hearing: The Matron can ascertain any sound or noise from a distance. Combined with her Psychic empathy, it is quite difficult to sneak up on her. 
-Mimicry: The Matron can, similar to other Klowns, mimic sound and voices. Unlike most other Klowns however, she can form full and elegant sentences to converse with humans. These “conversations” are typically used to lower a human’s guard or trick them. 
-Swansong: Most of the Matron’s communication with other Klowns is through Klownish, however, she can send out loud, burbling melodies that Klowns can react to. These swansongs typically sound similar to a pipe-organ or brass instrument.  These songs can also be used as a method of siren’s song, or as an attack when blared out loud.  -Klown Eggs: While Klowns can be created via PopKorn, these Klowns need to be grown from their Klown-Snake form and need genetic enhancements in order to reach T2 or T3 levels. The Matron can create “Klown Eggs” which hatch into fully-formed, fully-educated adult Klowns. These eggs can either be formed through her consumption of PopKorn, or through a mating ritual with a T3 Klown (AKA, Jojo). 
Weaknesses:
-Sonic Attacks: Due to the Matron’s superior hearing, sonic attack can cause a larger amount of pain or discomfort. 
-Klown Nose: As with all Klowns, popping a Matron’s nose will result in her destruction. 
-Necessary Gluttony: Matron’s are constantly seen lounging and glutting themselves on Cotton Candy. Many of their abilities require a large amount of caloric and memetic intake, including her Klown Eggs and psychic abilities.

How It is Created: Lapis lazuli is a complex mineral made up of lazurite, pyrite, and calcite. The lazurite gives it its deep blue color (along with the sulfur that’s in its matrix), the pyrite gives it its golden veins, and the calcite gives it its white specks.
History: The name comes from the Latin word lapis, meaning stone, and the word lazuli which means blue. It was first mined in Afghanistan but it has existed even before then. The Egyptians used lapis lazuli in protective amulets and other jewelry. It was used famously by Egyptian nobility, even its powdered form being used as eyeshadow. Lapis lazuli is said to produce power and wisdom and is associated with the Egyptian goddesses, Isis and Nuit. Romans would ingest the powder in food and drinks as an aphrodisiac and it was also used as an antidote for poisons. It is said that the ring the angel gave King Solomon to control his demon legion of workers was made of lapis lazuli.

Pellucidar

This world is full of subterranean caverns and tunnels where demons and monsters lurk. Some only appear to be subterranean but are actually extra-dimensional. One particularly large example is a land called Pellucidar: home to primitive men and prehistoric beasts from all sorts of eras as well as creatures that once lived with them--pure demons and monsters. Openings to this lost land of dinosaurs and monsters can be found in only a few select tunnels in Africa and the poles. These openings lead men to portals to the hell where the sun never sets but remains a hazy color to prevent madness in the inhabitants. It is never day or night, only perpetual dusk. Most humans are of a stone-age level of development, though some bronze-age civilizations exist along the coasts.
There are many strange creatures found in Pellucidar that never existed in earth's history. Among them are the Mahars: psychic pterosaurs who rule a section of this world due to an alliance with the Wolf Ram and Hart. They employ Mangani-speaking Gorilla-men called Saggoths to due the heavy lifting and foot-soldiering. Other creatures include: wild Ape-Men a.k.a. Pakuni (as standard Mangani, but with -2 strength and Brachiation (they live in tree huts)); the Turok-Han (called Sabertooth Men by the natives); the peaceful, farming, sheep-faced gorillas called Brute-Men; the giant, flesh-eating Azarians; the bison-like Ganaks (use basic demon stats with horns instead of claws, the same amount of damage); the reptilian, dinosaur-ridding Horibs a.k.a. Sleestaks (Use Serpent Folk stats in The Slayers Handbook); the subterranean Coripies (normal humans with light sensitivity and Albino (attractiveness -2) and Gorbuses.
The First Evil opened a doorway to this place when it attempted to destroy the Slayer line in 2003. Beyond the initial discovery and visits from Tarzan and Predators, the land of Pellucidar has swept up several families into its prehistoric hell.
Pellucidar is just one place where prehistoric monsters still roam. In this dimension: Maple White Land (best known from the novel The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) hosts many species of dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals from Early Cretaceous Onward and Skull Island was once home to a myriad of dangerous prehistoric beasts. These two isolated locals are the best known, and most studied. Other localities of note include Thunder Island, Mystery Island (both of which share fauna with Skull Island); and the Lost Land region of Australia (located in a valley in Queensland), which preserves Australia's unique Pleistocene fauna.
The oddest land that houses prehistoric beasts is the land of Caspak or Caprona in the Antarctic (called The Savage Land in Marvel comics). This place is a massive experiment set up by the creators of the Gyaos and Gamera to observe the evolutionary process. Here, however, creatures do not evolve. Instead, they go through a process of individual metamorphosis into ultimate forms. The metamorphosis seems to end around the Neolithic era (and the limits of the Antarctic region). Strange creatures abound there as well--from the evolved monster of Skull Island to strange metamorphic mutants such as winged humanoids. In recent years, a group of elemental 'super animals' have taken control over Caprona and seem to be guiding the place in a new direction. What it means for the alchemical animals and plants of Caprona is yet to be fully understood.
These two are often used as monstrous minions by unscrupulous individuals. When these animals die, they tend to dissolve into bio-plasmic goo.

With giant predators around them, the lifestyle is rather odd. Name: Azarian Motivation: Flesh Critter Type: Demon Attributes: Str 12, Dex 2, Con 4, Int 2, Per 2, Will 2 Ability Scores: Muscle 30, Combat 14, Brains 10, Life Points: 74 Drama Points: 0-3 Special Abilities: Attractiveness -2, Carnivore, Natural Toughness, Armor Value 2, Low Intelect Name - Score - Damage - Notes Punch - 14 - 27 - Bash Club - 14 - 42 - Bash Handaxe - 14 - 39 - Slash/Stab Azarians are 12-foot tall giants who subside on the flesh of creatures they catch. This includes humans. They use only the crudest and simplest of tools.

Name: Gorbus (Mole Person) Motivation: Food Critter Type: Human Offshoot Attributes: Str 6, Dex 4, Con 4, Int 1, Per 4, Will 2 Ability Scores: Muscle 18, Combat 14, Brains 12, Life Points: 50 Drama Points: 0-4 Special Abilities: Natural Toughness, Burrowing, Light Sensitivity, Natural Armor 4, Natural Weapons (Claws), Attractiveness -4 Name - Score - Damage - Notes Claw - 14 - 21 - Slash/Stab Grab - 16 - None - Impairments Vary These human offshoots were once slaves of the Coripies, but a revolt in the 1950s lead to the society's destruction. The humans developed to be strong, durable and, oddly enough, grew claws that allowed them to burrow through soft earth and sand. They are feared by the other humanoids of Pellucidar as cannibals and subterranean horrors. They aren't that bad, they just have no compulsions about treating your dead body as a food source. Food is scarce in caves after all.

Its oddest feature is its ability to expel flames from its mouth in a sizeable jet. This flame is used in both defensive means and as displays of power.

All other Mahars are female and reproduce via asexual reproduction. He is a quick mutation, an atavism, that makes shim male. He has been mutated further due to exposure to certain atomic wavelengths and rules a portion of Pellucidar with an iron grip.

Mahars are psionic pterosaurs who rule a good portion of the hell dimension. They have enslaved Sagoths to serve them as soldiers and have them conquer humans to act as the true slave labor (given their higher reproductive rate, higher intelligence, and larger population). They are often linked directly to the scourge of the Gyaos, and accurately so since those creatures were molded after their DNA. Most Mahars are only 5-6ft in height.

Can super mutants/nightkin be psykers? I ask because in the FNV quest Screams of the Brahmin, the nightkin can say the following things:
"Horns will help the bull. Voices say they knew that would happen." (Great Khans and Caesar's Legion)
"Bears in pain. Head voices not surprised." (NCR)
"Ha ha. Funny robot make blinky sounds." (ED-E)
"Head voices say smart man also metal man. Don't like metal men." (Arcade Gannon)
"Book girl has hard decision to make." (Veronica Santangelo)
"Head voices say quiet man knows more than he says about horns." (Craig Boone)
"Head voices say they knew flower girl's father." (Rose of Sharon Cassidy)
"Head voices know smelly ghoul. He old and good with guns." (Raul Tejada)
"Head voices speak of doggy with squishy brain." (Rex)

Some of these are just simple observations, but others, specifically about Boone, Veronica, Rex, and maybe Arcade, are things a Nightkin probably shouldn't know about. (He's had encounters with Enclave, which means he could theoretically have seen Arcade with them, but that's very unlikely, imo.)
yes, i figure metamorphic people are generally psychically inclined, especially those created at Mariposa. the master was intensely psychic and wanted all his most important lieutenants to be articulately telepathic.
i figure servitors were kept around rather than culled because they were the failures who also displayed psychic potential. they dont make a ton of sense otherwise

POINT OF ORIGIN: Almost 100% 616 comics, with changes made on a instance by instance basis.
ABILITIES/SKILLS: Meggan is a mutant empath, metamorph, and elemental of great power, with faery heritage. Empathic Metamorph: Can Shapeshift into any living creature even those that only exist in myth, and acquire their powers. Her physical appearance is still affected by how those around her most want her to look.
Natural Perception: Meggan has the ability to “See” and “hear” natural/biological patterns of force in the world around her, linking her with these patterns in the world around her.
Empathy: A telepathic talent which enables Meggan to sense the emotions and feelings of all living creatures (from people, to animals, to plants) and can broadcast her own feelings in order to influence other people's emotions.
Flight: Meggan has the ability to propel herself through the air at high speeds by force of will. While she does so, her hair streams out behind her to a length far longer than it usually is. Whether this is a conscious use of her shapeshifting power is unknown. Meggan can apparently support great weights even when flying.
Environmental Adaptation: Meggan can adapt to her physical environment, becoming impervious to cold without changing shape to adapt.
Reality Warp Resistance: Because of her shape changing power, Meggan has some resistance to the reality-warping powers of others.
Mental Weaknesses: Meggan's mind does not have the same level of psychic 'blocks' that most humans and especially beings with psionic power do. This can make her impulsive and impressionable; often acting on the present with little concern for the past or future.

Meggan was married to Brian Braddock aka Captain Britain aka Captain Avalon, but after another fight and another week of ignoring each other it was finally too much and the pair divorced.
Meggan was not taught to read until very recently and is very self conscious about her ability to read while working with children.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER FEEL ABOUT EMPEROR DOOM?: Before she was found by other mutants Meggan didn’t even know he was supposed to be a threat in her universe, so when the otherworld began to fold in on itself Meggan went with Emperor Doom willingly.
HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER FEEL ABOUT THE BATTLES? ARE THEY TRYING TO AVOID THEM? OR ARE THEY EAGER TO JUMP IN?: People hurting each other is not something she finds any joy in, but the rush of pride from some of the winners do make some of the shows addicting.
WHY HAS YOUR CHARACTER ACCEPTED THEIR JOB POSITION? WILL THEY USE IT TO GET CLOSER TO DOOM? OR WILL THEY USE IT EXPLOIT HIM? OR DO THEY SIMPLY LIKE THEIR JOB?: At first Meggan wondered if it was some kind of slight, the implication that with all her power all she was good for was to watch some kids, but after beginning her work she cannot imagine a place where she feels more at home. A band of rugrats from across the multiverse and she is able to be for some of them, the kind understanding adult figure she was never given in her childhood.
