imagine max killing richie and ruth in hatchetfield high, ready to move onto pete and steph after establishing his power over the school even in death, only,,, richie and ruth are still there. they're ghosts too, bc they died in hatchetfield high, and hh is one of the black altars. so now max just has to deal with them being in the afterlife with him. he can't beat them up or anything since none of them are corporeal, so they're limited to unwanted coexsitence. his plan has backfired horribly and he is very angry about it, but there isn't really anything he can do.

then richie and ruth follow him around and do all they can to get him to stop trying to kill pete and steph, bc those are their best friends, and even if they're dead, they can still try to save the other two. Operation Mildly Inconvenience Max is a-go.

Our Good Friend Jonathan

Entirely non-art related post, but it's Dracula season, so I'm letting myself indulge in my favourite fandom.

Controversial hot take, but ya'll are sleeping on Dracula 2020's Jonathan Harker.

I understand it's an adaptation people love to hate, but look. Ignoring That Twist. Ignoring the last five minutes of episode one. In fact, ignoring everything except the first episode (pretend it's a one-episode adaptation of Dracula's first chapter, with a few questionable line choices sprinkled in) John Heffernan is The Jonathan Harker.

Look at this man.

Look at him.

Adaptationally, I really think he's perfect. He understood the assignment. He's unnerved, but entirely too polite. He isn't exceptionally fast on the uptake, but damn if he isn't brave as hell. Add in that this is a Jonathan physically degrading before our eyes. *chef's kiss* 10/10. Great horror.

Watch episode one just for him. He's a delight.

I feel like she's created on the Lost Light, ~somehow~, while Megatron is on board. Was it an accident, was it on purpose, if the latter then why? But I feel like the part where Twitch emotionally (and perhaps literally) attaches to co-captain Megatron is completely unexpected and an accident

Especially because compared to earthspark Megatron, who's had years to attempt to chill in the whole trying to be a good guy thing, mtmte Megatron is this interesting mix of sharp edges and edges worn down with time and defeat. He's still pretty mean. So most mecha would say dumping a child into his lap is a horrible idea, most mecha would say that kid won't last a week, most mecha would say Megatron would be a horrible parent.

We know this blog, and we know their dynamic in Earthspark.

Most mecha, in this case, are wrong ^w^
